Its odd to have such positive feelings about an urgent care, but I truly have nothing but good things to say about Carolina Express Clinic. Online scheduling feature is convenient and functional and I can always find an appointment that works for me. The care Ive received here is always efficient and timely but never feels rushed. I truly feel heard whenever Ive had to make an appointment here. I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing urgent care services. Thank you for the care you provide!

Carolina express is a no brainer when it comes to immediate care, without the headache and hassle of trying to be seen at some of these other larger health care facilities. I’ve never had issue with getting seen the same day and they are always very thorough in what they do and quick to send medications over. I will always use this place compared to a minute clinic or something along those lines. They’ve treated myself; my wife; two young kids; take my word for it, very happy with any time I’ve been seen here

Best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care by far. They were fairly priced and got me in and out on my lunch break. Provider Palmer did a thorough exam and was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I’m sad she doesn’t have a general practice!

Always very quick seeing their patients. I think Ive only ever had to wait a few times as a walk-in, and even that didnt take long. Both of the doctors I know, as well as the rest of the staff, are very helpful and kind. I strongly recommend going here! They cover a variety of concerns and are my go to doctors office!

It was great to meet Dr Palmer . She takes time to listen to your symptoms and your questions. The administrator and her assistant were nice as well.And they are not overpriced . Very affordable for non-insurance . Best urgent care so far

Highly recommend! This clinic provided much-needed relief when my family experienced a transmissible (urgent) health concern.  Their convenient location and express service allowed us to get an appointment quickly, be correctly diagnosed and receive our prescriptions promptly and affordably.  The service was excellent, more so on our second visit; the NP was compassionate, personable, listened well, and answered some important questions about treating the symptoms, the best approach to get rid of the issue, etc.  The front desk admin were also personable.  My family are all thankful that this clinic exists nearby, or we would have been forced to wait longer for an appointment (and probably spend more money) at a traditional health care center!

Excellent and inexpensive clinic! I am grateful to Dr. Ashli Palmer. She listened to me attentively. The language barrier was easily overcome with the help of a translator. I am not a resident of North Carolina and I did not have insurance. Finding a doctor to see on this day and at an inexpensive price turned out to be a difficult task. Which this clinic coped with. Low bow for their work!

Very easy to book appointment online. Started on time. She looked at my issue, gave me different options for treatment and took care of it while explaining the procedure. It’s my second time going to this express clinic and would definitely go back the next time I need one.

I had the best experience at this clinic. I had an accident where I fell and cut open the bottom of my foot pretty badly. I am also pregnant so I was even more so concerned that everything was ok with baby. The clinic quickly fit me in as a walk in.The provider here, Greg Reynolds, was so awesome getting me stitched up and keeping me calm in the process. I highly recommend this clinic and Greg Reynolds for any urgent care needs.

Absolutely horrible employment. Wasted my time and mislead me making me think I had the job, came into the clinic to see how everything work. Greg Chamblers, the physician asked me when I could start and to let him know when I could start. Just for me to get an email saying good luck in the future AFTER I already told him I put my two weeks not to mention I was the one asking questions and reaching out. Wouldn’t recommend this place! Big red flag!

The providers here are always very helpful and knowledgeable. I scheduled my appointment online and didn’t have to wait more than three minutes after arriving. It’s super easy and convenient.

Dr. Wagner, knew my issue, and I was in a throyd storm in 2020, which most will not live threw.it .My presbyterian endocrinology, my Dr. Advise if we are going this route, it will be Dr.Wagner due to my case, Dr. Wagner and her team , just swung into action, had on Thursday. The best practice ever great staff Greg is one of the best physicians iv met yet

I have been coming to Carolina Express Clinic for a few years. I tell them all the time I wish they would start their own family practice! Easy appointments. Amazing care. We have a pediatrician but whenever my kids come down with something last minute its been so convenient and easy. The staff is great and very caring. They take their time with everyone.

Update: Do Not Go Here.Doctor is great- staff are terrible. Complacent, unprofessional and rude. I was double billed on day of service. When I called the clinic, I was told a refund would be made. A makeshift refund receipt was sent to my email but no refund conducted.Today, I went the clinic to request refund and was told that I would need to call Billing on Monday and nothing else could be done.Complete scam. Certainly not a first rate facility. I will be contacting my attorney and the better business bureau, dept of professional conduct and my credit card company to deny payment.******************Outstanding level of care, helpful and caring staff and up front pricing. This place is a model for what urgent care should look like in the US.Greg chambers correctly diagnosed a Stye in my left eye, prescribed the correct medicine to treat the inflammation and within 3 days I was back to normal.Start to finish, less than 30 mins in the clinic and total cost of $99.Thank you to the team at Carolina Express Clinic.

I booked an appointment, I came in 15 minutes early. Within 8 minutes I was in the back getting my vitals taken. The staff was extremely friendly and very diligent. The doctor came in and was very thorough and listened to my concerns. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

This is an amazing clinic. From the front desk, to the NP, everyone was knowledgeable,, kind and experienced.. We drove 45 minutes across town just because of the recommendations, and it truly lived up to them.

Salome and the rest of the staff was amazing. I moved from another state as my husband was transfered to new job location and my daughter needed a physical for new school. I was worried I would have to wait weeks to find a pediatrician and then get an appointment for the physical. I found them online and in no time I had an appointment for the same day. They asked me to send picture of school form to see if they filled those out. I emailed picture of form and and they assured me they could do it. They were super friendly as was the practitioner to me and my daughter. I will definitely recommend to anyone with or without insurance. The cost was only $74 because inwas self pay compared to $250 at another practice. You guys saved the day!

I have visited this clinic occasionally for several years. I was there today and I have to say that the care I have received has always exceeded my expectations. Whatever ailment I may of had has consistently been identified accurately with care and professionalism. The remedy they provided resolved my ailment every time. These professionals are human beings like the rest of us and therefore cant be perfect, but they have certainly proven themselves to be very reliable. I highly recommend them.

The physician performed a thorough exam, asked and answered questions, and listened to me. I have been to Carolina Express Clinic twice over the span of a year. Each time I have seen Dr. Greg Chambers who is very patient and outgoing. He is very professional and made me feel like he actually cared about what I was going through and wanting to help me understand and resolve it.I have been to other Urgent Care type clinics in the past and always felt more like a number than an actual patient. If you are looking for a personal and professional experience in a hurry (that is also very easy to schedule online) I would highly recommend this office.

I had visit the clinic twice. Dr. Chambers is phenomenal! He take the time to understand your situation and he provide good solutions to get well. The waiting time is not long at all (probably 5-10 minutes). I advise to call and do an appointment first. Great place to take care of your health.

And all i want to say is don’t let the negative reviews make you hesitant about scheduling your appointment (some people will never be pleased- i work with the public too).Dr. Chambers and his staff are the best! This place is truly the best! Greg and Ashli are kind, compassionate and intelligent. You can prebook online so there is no need to wait in line. They take insurance and have very fair cash prices. My husband and I visited Carolina Express Clinic today to get tested for Covid. The process was outstanding! We made appointments the day before and when we arrived earlier than our appointment we called to let them know we were in the parking lot and they were able to take care of us right away. The location is little out my husbands and my way but we will defiantly go back just for how the personnel from this business treats you! Went this morning. So uncomfortable and a little concerned. They got me right in. Took my insurance. Ashley was kind and wonderful. She even found a different pill that would be easier for me to take since I have difficulty swallowing them. I’ve been here twice before and they’ve not disappointed me yet. I couldn’t even get my regular doctor on the phone!!

This is a PSA if anyone needs a doctor appointment quickly and can’t get into your pediatrician or urgent care . I can not recommend Carolina Express Clinic off Park Rd. enough. They got us in yesterday and today so quickly and the nurse practitioner Ashli Palmer was amazing! She was attentive and compassionate. My daughter has a neurological condition that’s not well known and she went out of her way to make sure we were doing what was best practice for her. They got us in and out with prescriptions quickly! You can also make appointments online and even do telehealth visits!! 10 stars for them!!!

I have been going to PA Chambers for years. I am so happy to see his practice grow and become even more successful because the office and staff are just wonderful. Very straightforward and patient friendly. Electronic forms and check in. Quick insurance intake. Waiting at a minimum -- I think the most I have ever waited is 20 minutes. I went in yesterday because I had a lingering cough from a cold a few weeks ago, and a recent sore throat. The check-in process was efficient.Dr. Chambers was great - he asked me a lot of questions which led me to give him answers I may not have remembered. I was given cough medicine and antibiotics, and woke up feeling like a new woman! Sore throat gone, and Im expelling a lot of gunk :DI think it may have been a lingering bacterial sinus infection, and am thankful to Dr. Chambers and staff for helping me out!

The doctors and staff here are professional with a personal touch. Once you go there, youll be remembered by name and feel cared for by such kind and efficient people. The doctors here are thorough and give you all the time you need, (yet the wait is short), theyre easily accessible, and they take insurance. They are able to treat you for a wide variety of health issues. Add to that that they are independent and not part of any mercenary conglomerate. I actually got a check from them one year (Ive been seeing them for years because theyre so great) right before Christmas because I had overpaid on copays. I received a check for $125!!!

This place is how healthcare should be. I have been twice, about a year apart. Both visits I was back in a patient room within 5 minutes of arriving. The nurse who runs the desk is friendly and efficient. I have seen a male and a female doctor on different visits, and both were kind, thorough and diligent. I have always felt taken care of here, but never rushed. Both visits I was in and out of the office in under 45 minutes!

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. They were a little behind today with everything going on and the receptionist let me know and apologized. She was also very kind and very helpful. In addition the Dr. Chambers came to the car to help me. His bedside manner was the best I’ve ever experienced at an urgent care center. I’m glad I came here instead of another place I was considering.

First time using Carolina Express Clinic. Got an appt on my first call; needed a vaccine for oversea’s travel. Had all my documented vaccines ready for the doctor to review. He did; I had everything I needed for travel except for the one I came for. Gave me more information and practical advice than l hoped for. No pressure to buy something else that I didn’t need.The intake nurse was great and professional as well.BYW, they saved me $100 on that visit. I highly recommend them for your travel needs.

I never take the time to comment or write reviews unless I have had a bad experience but felt I had to share because of the experiences I have had both times visiting the Carolina Express Clinic off Park Rd. This urgent care is super clean and the staff seem to actually understand the word urgent as they make it a point to ensure you get seen quickly. Also important to note is that they appear to take a sincere interest in how you feel, as evidenced by the follow up calls to check on me and my wife after our visits. Id highly recommend this place!

I had a great experience here. I had just left another doctors office earlier today and they were extremely rude and cold. Especially given the reasons I was coming to see them. I cannot recommend this clinic enough! I’m always able to get an appointment so quickly, and the office visit is just as efficient. All the providers are extremely kind, genuine, and professional. I can always count on a great experience coming here.

Awful clinic, I would avoid at all cost and go to Novant or Atrium Urgent care instead. The facility was dirty and outdated (bathroom was not clean). They also do not bill insurance properly and refuse to correct the code they submitted to my insurance. Instead of billing the visit as an urgent care visit they billed it as an office visit which was not covered because they are out of network. They tested my urine using a dipstick and compared the dipstick to a little paper chart they had. It felt like I was getting medical care in a 3rd world country. i will never go there again.

After extensive research trying to find a clinic in Charlotte to do our specific PCR test required for our trip back to Barbados we booked this at Carolina Express. The service was excellent - even during our panic when we were down to the wire with the results coming back. The girls were very understanding and helpful. A very pleasant experience.

I’ve been there twice now and both times the whole process was seamless from the beginning to end. Scheduling was a breeze, no long wait time, lab results didn’t take forever, and the doctors were knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

I really like this clinic. It is so convenient to my job and they are always fast enough for me to visit on my lunch break. I have been twice. Once for a migraine and another for a pulled muscle in my neck. Both times the attending physician/PA has been very thorough, quick, and easy to talk to. Im usually so uncomfortable at doctor appointments, but I feel more motivated to visit these folks than the General Physician I have had for the last 12 years! They are great!

What a phenomenal experience I had with their clinic! With COVID it had been impossible to find any open clinics to do a TB test! So much open availability and both appointments were under 10 minutes! Staff is very friendly and the cost of the TB test is one of the cheapest in the area! Highly recommended going to them if you need any service quickly!

Gregory Chambers, P.A. and his staff are highly competent, friendly, and the location is super convenient. I usually find myself in there due to a flu, sinus infection, or similar and have had practically no wait time to be seen. I have always gotten superb treatment. Please keep this place in mind. Much more affordable than an urgent care and they have great rates even if youre not insured!

I visited this clinic on the morning of 6/5, and it is now 6/11, and I still have not had any communication from their staff on my medical test results. I called this morning, and spoke with Brittney who was completely rude, and refused to even let me speak, as she talked over me every chance that she got. I had to ask her name at least 10 times, before she would even provide it to me, as I am sure she knew she shouldnt be talking to a patient like that. First she stated she had none of my results, then it changed to the staff had called the lab this morning, and checked on my results, but they had not received them. How did you call this morning and check on something, if you had no idea about my lack of results until now? She asked if I had received an email or text from the clinic, and I said I have not received anything to date. Then she proceeds to tell me that everything is out of their control, and they only send test results out when they have received all of the results back from the lab. So, if you already have some results back that should provide insight into my health issues, why would you not notify me of the results??? Why was there no email, call, or text sent, with my results?? I will NEVER go back to this clinic, because I paid extra to be seen on a Saturday, when I could have waited until Monday, to see my primary doctor, and had results back by now. Brittney is TERRIBLE with customer service, speaks over you, and could care less about your medical issues, as long as she can express her authority over you. Communication with patients should be much better than this. I do not recommend Carolina Express Clinic.

This is my second time coming to this provider since I’ve moved from NY and I can confidently say this is one of the best providers I have been to. Super kind, very understanding, and took a lot of time to discuss my situation. Cannot thank this office enough for how amazing they are!

This place is awesome! I made appointment & filled out all the paperwork on line. No waiting went I arrived. The staff was super competent & conscientious. They spent a lot of time with me in the exam room & even made a follow up call to check in on me a couple of days later. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

I could not have been happier with my experience. The process was efficient and the staff was absolutely top notch. Dr. Palmer listened to my concerns and made sure to do everything necessary to make sure I got the most accurate answers. She was very straightforward with her advice and assessment but also reassuring and just made the whole visit so much better than I was expecting. I can’t recommend them enough, they are the only medical office I’ve ever felt the need to review.

Im so grateful for this place. Ive never had a long wait, everyone who works here is so efficient and friendly, and I always feel heard; neither doctor Ive seen here has ever rushed the appointment or let me leave without feeling like Ive gotten all of the important information and had all of my questions addressed. I seriously have such peace of mind knowing this place exists.

Terrible clinic, charges for everything and takes no responsibility for missing a diagnosis. My medicine did not work after I asked for my test to be sent to a lab. I now am still in pain with no relief and they want me to pay again to be seen after I was just there last week for the same issue. Will not be going here again. I basically went the first time and paid 115 for nothing because they did not fix the problem and now want me to pay another 135 for nothing again. Terrible people and the front desk lady hung up on me while I was asking to speak to the doctor. If I could sue I definitely would.bo one is asking for free Healthcare but I should not have to pay to be seen twice in one week for the same problem they never cured. I dont mine paying to be tested again but to pay to be seen again is ridiculous.

Getting a reserved spot was easy, the staff was personable and the doctor took the needed time to answer my questions and cover my needs.

My family and I are traveling and with all the rules and restrictions, I was concerned about timing of my PCR results. Having to pay for 5 people at almost $200 each was a huge bummer, but when the Dr. saw me he knew the requirements for Jamaica and even looked Theo to get us the antigen test instead. Our insurance covered it. Very happy, thank you!

It was so fast. The Nurse Practitioner, Laurie Black, had me diagnosed and on my way in less than 10 minutes. She went the most inexpensive route for diagnosing me with strep and wrote the prescription and I was outta there! I really cannot recommend this place enough. Fast and great care.

We required COVID testing due to upcoming travel to Maine. Appointment was easy to schedule and was set up for the following day. Receptionist/tech, Constance, was most personable and professional. PA Greg was likewise and most thorough. Appropriate pretesting questions and explanation of the procedure, as well as information regarding timing and delivery of results was done thoroughly and in an understandable fashion. Two of us were in and out in well under an hour. Insurance/ Medicare was accepted with no upfront fee.

Very professional and clean environment! The employees and the Dr. were great! They made me feel very comfortable and the doctor made me feel like a kid again by distracting me with fun conversations, Dr. Chambers was great!

Very time efficient and nice staff. Was able to book a time slot within 30 mins or less compared to some other clinics that my insurance wouldn’t even cover and other clinics that had no available times for testing. Super quick and they came out to my car to do the test so I didn’t even have to risk going inside!

My first experience was great, we had an appointment booked for but was running late and called about 15mins beforehand because we were stuck in traffic. We got there about 13 minutes late, I totally understood the policies but the staff was soo rude and unprofessional in trying to answer our questions or even hear us out. Theyre affordable but not worth the unprofessional behavior shown.

I’ve gone here as long as it has been open. Dr. Chambers and his staff are extremely helpful, always timely and accommodating. See also: courteous, professional, and kind. I was so happy when all my kids were 2 yrs and over because now they can go here as well for most of what we need. They actually don’t mind going and I think it’s because there is so little waiting. I had to get a covid-19 RT-PCR done. The process was carried out immaculately by the Doctors and the staff at Carolina EXpress Clinic.They managed the inflow of patients, it was never crowded inside the clinic. Ladies at the front desk were very efficient, helpful and pleasant. It took me less than 15minutes to give my sample and I was out of the clinic.The results were quick, I got mine in just 36hours!!I highly recommend this place.

Last minute PCR test for travel back to Canada this morning. Zero wait. Easy booking online. Very friendly doctor greeted me at the door. 35min later I had my result. Would use again and certainly recommend.

This is my go to place for lifes little problems. It could take a day or two just to schedule an appointment with my GP, and when youre sick, what good does that do? And dont get me started on the narrow window of availability at the pediatrician. I have been here multiple times myself and with my children. We are seen promptly and professionally. Knowledgeable and pleasant staff.

This was by far the best Urgent Care I have ever been to. I was seen quickly by Laurie Black, Nurse Practitioner, whom I really liked, professionally diagnosed (walking pneumonia), given a couple prescriptions, and sent on my way in under 20 minutes. I really liked the atmosphere of the place too. It just felt good. Reading on their webpage, I see the Doctor who owns the clinic travels regularly overseas with Christian medical missions, which I also appreciate. Reasonably priced as well. I was so impressed with this place that I wanted to rave about them online.

I supposed to receive my family’s covid 19 travel test results today morning but they say it will come in evening or tomorrow eve. I will get stuck at canada border with two toddlers waiting for the results. If they don’t send then i am gone. They confirmed the results would arrive and thats why I spent $$$ otherwise I would have gone to diff provider. They called us when we already headed for canada.Staff is really good and friendly but miscommunication which makes our plan miserable during canadian winter time.Addn response: thank you Carolina’s express clinic for responding to my review. I understand that there was a call with my wife and the main concern was from the mother of two toddlers point of view who is worried about kids in situations upon not receiving results on time as expected. I truly understand the sudden surge in cases and how everyone of you are helping day and nights to improve the situation. We have been visiting this clinic for all travel purposes and throughout the journey your response was commendable so we expected this time as well. There was a sense of urgency and she asked for the lab contacts as well to see if this can be expedited but you refused to provide and she got really upset. But We (self and wife) are truly apologies for the panic situation during the call. There is no need to process refund as you have done your part. We could not come for rapid test as we already left the place as stated today. We shall still wait for the results by tomorrow morning. Thank you once again.

I went at the perfect time which was around 11am.... The front desk girls are REALLY nice. The PA that did my physical is also the owner. He was super nice and did not rush things and actually gave me a real physical and some health tips. The price is Great compared to other places

This was my first visit, and I’ll continue to go back when needed. It took 5 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I saw the doctor. I explained my situation with my current UTI that I was seeking treatment for (I’m a special case due to having lupus and being resistant to many antibiotics). He listened and asked a lot of questions, then came up with the best treatment plan for me. He explained everything in detail and even wrote things down for me so I could share it with my urologist later. I’m very pleased with the entire experience!

Same experience both times: staff is very friendly and helpful, total time in and out was under 15 minutes. Their fees were lower than CVS. I had considered CVS before I finalized on them but i found the CVS staff unprepared and unable to answer basic questions. Strongly recommend this place.

I am a licensed health care provider myself but did not want to utilize an Emergency Room for a small abscess. I discussed my concerns with Greg and he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He agreed to treat my abscess and he did a fantastic job. It is now 2 weeks later and the site is nearly completely healed, with minimal scarring. I would highly recommend Greg and his clinic as he is very caring, skilled and does not recommend costly additional testing, procedures or medications, unless absolutely necessary for his patients well being. I would not hesitate to go to Greg again as a patient myself.

Ive been to Carolina Express Clinic multiple times with varying ailments and have always been very pleased with the care Ive received. My symptoms were somewhat random but the both Dr. Black and Dr. Chambers were patient and helpful. This clinic is perfect for mild sickness and/or pain consultations.

My primary care doc couldn’t see me so they referred me here. I’m glad they did. Didn’t take long at all and everyone was kind and professional. For small things like a sore throat or flu I will use them in the future.

This was one of the best medical experiences I have had! I had a severe allergic reaction that caused my eyes to swell, itch, and burn. I was treated by Ashli (NP) and she was wonderful! She took her time examining my eyes and asked me questions to make sure she knew exactly what the problem was. She thoroughly explained how to treat my condition and took her time answering all of my questions. I started my medications that Ashli prescribed and I feel so much better. Ashli even called me back a few days later to follow up - she just really cares about patients! And that is rare in the medical industry. I will certainly return to Express Clinic for future visits. Highly recommend!

Recpectionist was nice, doctor was okay, little young. I prefer older ones. Just might be me.I thought a xray could have been helpful and a follow up visit. To check on me. I still wasnt feeling well after my visit.This is 7 days later.Im sure he is a good fit for some but was not for me.

Ive come to this location twice and have received compassionate, skilled care both times. The staff are all amazing. I also love that they list their fees up front. I drive 30 minutes to come to this location specifically.

This place is great. Went in for a travel consultation and got my yellow fever vaccine. Not many places even have that. The doctor and staff were all so courteous and knowledgeable. Would definitely go back.

The only reason I came in is because of the great reviews it had. Do not get me wrong, i was treated great and there was no wait time. It was disappointing to find out how you guys do not have set pricing. They told me I was going to pay $200 for my diagnostic and treatment and then the doctor told her to charge me $280 and that would cover all the tests instead. Then I get a called back saying that I still owe $40. Who does that??? Set your pricing right. I will be paying those $40 eventually but this was pathetic and unprofessional, for that reason I wont be coming back. Its a shame because I was hoping it would go great as the reviews said.
