TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! The front desk people are so nasty with their attitude. My husband and I bring in our 11 month old baby on Sunday around 4:40ish pm on August 25. We came in after noticing our baby having a fever.The moment we walk in, they always give us the looks then get more annoyed when I checked in with them. One of the front desk worker told me to put my baby on a scale without putting any paper towel or something to cover on the scale! Mind you she’s a scare and can’t stand straight since she’s a baby. I told her I need something to cover the dirty scale and she got mad then give me a BIG SIGNS… we proceeded to weight on an adult scale!!After that, she command us to go to a room but didn’t show us where. She checked my daughter temperature without doing all the OSHA regulation. No wearing gloves or sanitize her hands.She got annoyed and raised her voice at us when she told us the doctor wanted her to do 2 tests. I was annoyed after that and she knows she being rude, she proceeded to kicks the cabinet’s doors and also asked to sit my baby on bed with attitude. With no directions or being told ahead on what to do, she started to do the test. She performed two tested on her which required swaps my daughter’s nose and mouth but she was being so rough and insert it too far as well as holding her leg so tight to put stuff on her feed to check her oxygen! My daughter is traumatized.We took my daughter to ER a few hr after this urgent care visit because her fever won’t goes down and they didn’t give her any prescriptions… due to the front desk being rough when swapping her nose and mouth, my daughter got scare when ER nurses whenever they bout check things on her.If you hate your job why go work in a medical field??

Decided to book an appointment for a f/u issue Ive been having during my lunch break since I work 2min up the road. First, let me say, BIG MISTAKE! if youre looking for a quick appointment, this location is not it. I have gone to many other Nocant Health Gohealths, and this one by far has been the longest wait time for me from being seen to being discharged. I did the save spot online and did the appointment for 12:45pm. I arrived at 12:35 pm. When I was called up the the desk to complete paperwork, I asked if they knew how long because I was on lunch break and before I paid anything for copay I wanted to make sure I was going to be able to get seen. I was called into an exam room at 1 10pm. and spoke with one of their nurse assistants who got all my info. At this point, I was not seen by the actual Dr. Until 1:35pm which was crazy because I knew exactly what was wrong and what I needed and at any other location I have gone too, Ive been in and out in no more than 15/30min tops. I guess it may be because of the location, but when I went, it was not busy at all. When I arrived, they had no patients at all in any exam rooms, so I just didnt understand why it took a whole hour for me to get seen. Other than that, this location is super clean and bigger than the other locations. The staff were very nice and efficient and the Dr. Was very polite and knowledgeable. She didnt rush once she was able to see me.

My provider was very patient, listened very well and paid attention to myConcerns genuinely. And was respectful and courteous. She also seemed very knowledgeable and explained her thought process well. We were able to make a good plan together. The reception staff was also extremelyPleasant. And the wait time was very reasonable.

This location is a horrible place to visit for care. I took my son on Friday evening to be seen for a sore throat at 7pm and was rudely told by the front desk they were not accepting walk ins because that would put them past their 8pm closing🥴like really-you don’t work OT to see patients? Then visited again Sunday and was met with the same nasty attitude. If you can’t work face to face with customers you shouldn’t be in that profession. Such terrible service that I have to pay for. Novant needs to do a better job in screening their employees to provide courtesy and professionalism to their patients at all times. Not to mention the waiting rooms had a strong urine smell

Extremely rude receptionist. I came in at 7:32 pm told the receptionist I was having a pain in the back of my knee and just wanted to get it checked out would have taken 15 minutes no one else was there. Receptionist immediately says well we don’t have imaging here and was very rude when asking for my name I told her my name and she goes your real name in a very rude tone. I go that is my real name. They then brought the PA out and he goes ya you might as well go to the ER we can’t help you. I have never been treated so disrespectfully and rudely at an urgent care before. Safe to say I will never be going back

My elderly father went in to this facility with knee and shoulder pain. Immediately the front desk staff were pleasant and welcoming. They had a xray technician who was working multiple sites that day so there was a little delay but once the tech arrived she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient with my fathers limited mobility. The Dr on staff that evening was extremely courteous and helpful. The overall support and understanding from everyone was warming and welcoming and I would suggest this location to anyone.

I was able to make the appointment online, drive to the facility, see the doctor, and drive back to work during my 1.25 hour lunch break. Best experience I have ever had at any other urgent care facility, The staff was super friendly and very efficient. 10 put of 10 in my book.

Excellent experience. Made appointments on line, for daughter & myself. Minimal wait at the clinic which had a spacious, clean waiting area. I was grumpy - and the staff was so kind. We had tests done, results came in quickly. The PA took his time with us. Answered all our questions. Very pleased with the entire visit.

Arrived with no appointment, filled out paperwork, paid my copay and was seen immediately. Quick diagnosis and prescription called into my pharmacy, incorrectly. Pharmacy called the doctor for correction and had to leave a message. No response. I called 3 hours later and also left a message as no one answers the phone. Still no response, 4 days later………glad it wasn’t anything life threatening

It seems to getting worked on at the moment so parking may be alil confusing and your entrance for your first visit is confusing as well as all doctors and nurses seem to be all in one spot at once so it is a little tight and short on space but only for now. The staff seem to be very caring and they stay up to date with the information needed to be delivered to there patients! My primary care referred me here, I wouldnt have chosen this particular facility but now that I have been I would recommend mainly for the loving care I have received.

In times of pain and desperation you would think staff would be in urgent care to provide you the chance to get medical attention. I had to leave work and run over to this urgent care , I missed the walk in window by 3 minutes and was denied. I explain the severity of the rash and the feeling of having your skin on fire and received complete disregard as if I was bothering them. It’s sad to see the treatment I received from Novant today. I will never be returning .

My visit at the Urgent Care in Waxhaw was horrible. The receptionist and my nurse were amazing, but the PA, Kathy Crump was a nightmare. I overheard conversations she was having with staff just outside my exam room I shouldn’t have been privy to. As the only provider on site, I can understand being slightly overwhelmed, but upon entering my exam room, Kathy made it feel as though she really didn’t want to deal with me; and it was written all over her face. She seemed annoyed at best. As a patient, I should never be made to feel as though I’m a bother. After all, the provider chose this profession. In addition, Kathy reprimanded staff in front of me, which made me feel completely uncomfortable. When one is already feeling ill, the last thing you want to feel is uncomfortable. When a potential diagnosis already has you feeling anxious, a PA with a disgruntled nature definitely doesn’t place one at ease. I would rather drive an hour out of the way in extreme pain than to come back to this location EVER again. Visit at your own risk.

As it relates to the health care industry, individuals who work in this particular field take an oath to care for people that entails being respectful to patients no matter how you may feel personally. I sat waiting to be seen and witnessed a patient walking out because she couldnt pay her co pay. Theres barely any privacy but there should be something placed in the works to protect patients and the conversation they have with the desk staff. The young lady talking to this patient told her she needed to pay $100.00. The lady looked extremely ill and could barely stand and had to leave. I wish I had $100 to spare to give her because what if she walked out that door and something happened to her because she couldnt be seen. The young was was rightfully doing her job but at the same time its not what you do but how you do it. Then she begins talking to her colleague in an ill manner about the patient not being able to pay, thats what resulted in me typing this review. Its not what you do but how you do it. Everyone is human and should be treated with a level of dignity and respect. Sad that people work in fields with no passion or empathy. I pray that lady gets the help she needs.

The receptionist that helped me check in, I think her name was Dominique...she was awesome. She was so polite and kind. She asked me if I needed anything if I didnt know any better she treated everyone like they were the only patron in the room. Also, while I was sitting there I observed her assisting this elderly women in getting her information into the system. The receptionist she did not get upset cause she had to do additional work. I hope this makes it back to her because I did not feel well but she made the visit to that facility 100x times better.If I could give yall a 20 and not a 10 I would.

This was the second urgent care Ive been to in four days(first urgent care did not diagnose correctly). Dr. Malloy was amazing! He was professional and patient. After seeing my symptoms, he knew exactly which tests to perform and explained the treatment plan clearly. The nursing staff was also very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

An HOUR before close, zero patients in building and they turned away my son with a bleeding toe. They did not triage him, told us to go to Atrium urgent care around the corner. Said they weren’t taking walk ins. I took him to a different goHealth urgent care and they took him no problem; this second urgent care told me (without me saying anything) that they never turn away anyone with a laceration without triaging.

This place was awesome.I did something stupid and went here on a Tuesday morning. Within fifteen minutes I was talking to a doctor and and X-rayed in another fifteen minutes. I think it was 45 minutes total and they had me in a cast and out the door. 9/10, would recommend breaking your elbow and going here. Only thing better would have been more painkillers.

We went there for my suspicions for flu. Mykids had fevers that became uncomfortable so I ended up giving them medication which lowered the fever before we got there. The PA, George Winfrey, who we saw was exceptional. He “got it” that I needed to medicate the kids to keep them comfortable and still took me seriously. He was so calm, gentle and overall great with the kids (5 and 8). Even my son, who was so anxious about going in, was completely at ease.The front desk staff was helpful, polite and informative of our wait time. The kids were so comfortable throughout the whole experience. While I don’t want the kids to require a trip to urgent care, I’ll return in a heartbeat if needed.

This was my first time visiting a GoHealth Urgent Care. It was so easy to schedule an appointment and check in was a breeze. I want to personally thank Zola. She does a great job at check in and also patient care. Working in a medical office, there are always numerous unseen tasks needing to be completed, but she was so cheerful and friendly, in addition to efficient. The PA Andrew was also a great provider and quickly gave me the information I needed and was very thorough. I highly recommend this location. Thank you all for a wonderful visit.

I was so nervous bringing my 2-year old twins in solo, due to our pediatrician being completely full for the day we needed care. They both had stomach bugs with diarrhea that was causing severe diaper rash. We did have to wait almost an hour despite having an appointment, but the staff were helpful and polite. Once we got into a room, the medical assistant (wish I could recall her name) was so friendly and did a great job making my boys feel comfortable while getting their vitals. She also brought them pedialyte pops since they were both dehydrated. The PA, Jeff Allen, was absolutely wonderful. He was so kind, patient, and understanding. Despite the office being behind schedule, we got his full time and attention. He could sense that I was anxious and cared for me just as much as my boys. He even helped us out to the car because one of my boys only wanted to be carried by me, so he pushed the stroller out for us. The treatment he prescribed is already helping. I rarely leave reviews but wanted to be sure to leave one here, specifically since I was so nervous about bringing my kids somewhere that isn’t what they used to. Much thanks to all the staff for taking care of us!

I have nothing but praise for the hard working and kind staff of this establishment! I had called to ask about wait times and worked with the kindest receptionist who helped give me real time information as opposed to other locations I was looking at. I waited in my car and received text updates. The nursing staff as well as the doctor could not of been more timely, kind and helpful toward me. I was able to get a prescription sent in right away and was in and out of the visit feeling very assured. While I hope to never have to visit again- I wouldn’t recommend another location more!

This was my first civilian Urgent Care. I have to admit I am very impressed. Raven and Coco were very courteous and kind when I went to check in and out. They kept me in the loop on the appointment time. Raven made sure i was comfortable in a room in good time. She made sure all my concerns were addressed. Jeffrey Allen PA-C was kind, very matter of fact and was thorough. He listened to my concerns/ symptoms. All in all, very happy with my visit. I mean, I always hope I dont have to use urgent care but if I do again, this is where Ill be going next time.

Making a post a little late but I have been trying to get this resolved internally with no luck or favored results that the situation must be made public. The receptionist is very rude. We arrived at 7:35pm on a Wednesday evening with my 8 year old with a laceration to his ear. The receptionist told us that since that closed at 8pm that they were not going to stay late that evening. After trying to explain to her that we well before closing time she got another male nurse or staff member to confirm this. We were appalled standing there with our bleeding son that they would not see us. I understand maybe the decision would be made at 7:50pm but not 7:35pm. They held firm and they just simply said they werent going to work late that evening. We have 5 urgent cares closer to us than this one yet we chose this location since we have been here before for a glue or taping situation with my son. It is not a emergency room type visit thats why we chose urgent care. The nurse recommended we go to this 24 hr urgent care on 7th street. We went there next. That was awful and very sketchy. We did not feel comfortable they wanted $900 upfront and it was very dirty. Not sure why a go health employee would recommend and send us there. Then we had no choice but to go to the emergency room after a hour of riding around charlotte which led to a $500 copay rather than the $75 copay like we would have received at the urgent care in the first place. Guess what? My son needs tape, not glue on his ear which could have easily been handled at the original urgent go health location probably before 8pm that evening. I will never choose this Go Health urgent care again and will instead walk to the closer atrium urgent care in my neighborhood. Horrible horrible staffing at this one that created the nightmare we experienced that evening.

If youre going for Physical Therapy, I strongly advise against working with Shafarri (sp?) and Im not one to write reviews..but after two appointments turned sour, it was time.She doesnt seem to have patience if you dont know what youre doing and doesnt exhibit the skills to teach you how to do it; just shows you with her body then repeats the directions, sounding frustrated while you struggle. Completely dismissed an exercise instead of instructing me through it. And the last exercise is when she exhibited an unprofessional attitude and became very demeaning when I simply explained what it was she could be focusing on helping.Two appointments, a complete waste of my time. She doesnt deserve to be called a Healthcare professional if she doesnt know how to act like one.

We walked in to get stitches for a cut. The front desk employee seemed irritated because we didn’t have an appointment and told us they’d get with us as soon as possible because they were fully booked. Isn’t the point of urgent care to go there when you need urgent care? We signed in and were scheduled to be seen four hours later! This on top of the cold reception void of empathy! We’re at Atrium now. So friendly and professional, and will be seen within an hour.

I have specifically went out of my way to only go to this urgent care when sick because I have received nothing but the best care and professionalism from front desk staff and one specific doctor. Unfortunately, my experience today has completely changed my perspective of this care center and I will never return. We were denied rapid tests that we had scheduled out a week in advance in preparation for an event we were attending that required them. We stated in our application, filled out at online registration of our appointment, the reasoning for the tests and that we were asymptomatic. We planned our entire weekend to accommodate these tests so we can attend this out of town event (a belated bday gift from my spouse); upon arrival to our appointment we are checked in and told to wait in the car until they are ready, which we do, 30 minutes past our scheduled time. We then are called in and as we are officially being processed by the front desk the doctor comes up, asks why we are getting the test, and when we tell him, he tells us he will not see us nor provide the testing due to a national shortage. While I am understanding of the situation, the lack of customer service here is appalling - if we are denying rapid testing for asymptomatic patients due to not approving of their situations, how about we dont waste their time when we were upfront from the start and now have wasted a day and will not be able to attend our event because hey, we cant get a rapid test anywhere without an APPOINTMENT. The show is tomorrow and requires a RAPID TEST negative result within 48 hours of the show. We are currently in between doses of the vaccine so do not have an official vaccination card which is why we have to get rapid test. None of this was even heard by the doctor and even the front desk receptionist was bothered by how we were treated and dismissed. Never again will I go here.

Personally I dont think any urgent care should have option for appointment because it should be urgent for everybody and it shouldnt be first come first serve it should be based on case. But thats the system not the location. The location is a pretty nice urgent care. Maybe one of the front desk people could be nicer but the other was sweet.

Had a wonderful experience at this location.At 10:15 on Wednesday evening, we realized my 15 year old son had developed a high fever. Through a google search we found that this was the only open clinic, so we drove the 30 minutes into Charlotte. We arrived at 10:45pm (15 minutes before closing for the night) and we were treated promptly, kindly and professionally.We were not rushed or made to feel bad that the staff had to stay late, the nurse practitioner was thorough and patient. The entire staff took great care of my son, and I was thankful they were open to see him. I would recommend them to everyone.A big Thank you to everyone at the Kings Dr. location!

Went on sunday 10/ 10 and you guys have a rude receptionist. She seemed to respond quick when i was trying to explain to her why i was there. Before i could even finish she goes oh we have nothing to do with them. I told her if she could let me finish. As a customer service rep myself i dont respond with attitude. You just have to manage people in the best way and make them feel welcome. She made me feel horrible as soon as i walked in. Her horrible customer service does not look like she represents what novant health stands for. You may want to reconsider training her again or removing her from front desk.

I had a rash and was trying to get my Dr.s to see me but none of them could squeeze me in. So I found this Novant Go Health Urgent Care and I went and Im so happy I did! Check- in was a breeze! Staff was very pleasant and friendly. The Dr. took one look at the rash and new immediately what I had and needed. I am totally healed now and I am soooo grateful I went there. Thank you so much to all that one way or another took care of me that day. ❤️

I don’t know how to begin.My daughter for an Injury on her hand, the PA and assistant were amazing.They stitched her and we were good.Her 2 week follow up for removal was due and when trying to book something online, nothing was available.We went for a walk in visit because the site indicated 79 minutes wait. I called the center and the receptionist said that was incorrect, the information on the site on their system was notMatching. I asked if I could wait and her called and she said if I wanted, I asked her how to get notified, she sounded frustrated, and told me to select walk in and it was not working.I felt her very rude towards my questions.I understand that the healthcare System is very so stressed with this pandemic, but there is people who come from far ways like me ( 1 hr) no need for this non sense.Thank you for all you do but please do it with your heart, and never lose your people skills.I hope to not return to this center again.

The worst medical care I have received. The nurse was rude, bossy and didn’t provide any care. She didn’t really triage and gave up on recording vitals because the auto blood pressure machine was broken. So she just walked out. The PA didn’t offer a diagnosis but wrote meds anyway and when test results came back inconclusive, I had to show up to speak to someone because they don’t pick up the phone and they told me they don’t know, to go see my PCP… which I don’t have. Completely didn’t care. I’ve been to other Novant Urgent cares and by far this was a waste of money and really frustrating. Do not recommend.

The biggest thing for me and time. My appointment was at 9:40 AM, I was out at 10:40 AM. During that hour the doctor saw me the nurse saw me/blood pressure, another nurse took my x-ray and another nice lady gave me a shot and then the doctor saw me again. I have never experienced that done so efficiently. I would recommend this practice all day long. Thanks yall.

Absolute worst place to go if you need care. I made an appointment online for at 10:42 a.m., for a rapid test due to a direct exposure. I was at the front door at 10:41 when the nurse came and told me my appointment had been canceled - excuse after excuse ensued (the appointment time was wrong, they couldn’t find me, they called and spoke to me, etc.) NONE OF WHICH WAS TRUE. Ultimately I pulled up a screenshot confirming my appointment time and this lady had the audacity to roll her eyes and proceed to tell me to pull into a handicapped spot and “someone might see [me]... or they might not.” THANKFULLY a wonderful nurse came out eventually and apologized for the misunderstanding and took my information so she could call me with the results. I understand this is an unprecedented situation and our healthcare workers are under incredible pressure, but this type of attitude and willful negligence at turning away someone who has been in direct contact with an infected person for DAYS is irresponsible and dangerous. I’m grateful they have at least one person with a brain and a heart working there.

My advice is to ask for an estimated cost before you go. I chose this practice because of the wonderful care Ive received with another Novant provider in a different specialty. The service and care was fine, but a star deducted for lack of value. I was in the room for 5-10 minutes to confirm whether or not I had a UTI (aka soothe my pregnancy paranoia) and my visit was somewhere in the $350+ range and high deductible insurance means out of pocket. Absolutely should have waited until the next day to see my regular provider and admittedly, thats on me, but did not expect such a hefty bill. Will update the review if my questioning of the billing code to customer service leads anywhere.

I think this may be my first review ever but it is needed!Today I visited the King St. Urgent Care as I woke up with symptoms of covid-19. Having already been vaccinated, I am worried I may have a breakthrough case. The lady at the front desk was rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I was told the wait was 2 hours to get a test that takes less than a minute to administer, and I had to sign in at the kiosk as she could not be bothered. When I signed in at the kiosk, it said I might be able to see the doctor by 9:45 pm... THEY CLOSE AT 8 pm! This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a medical facility. The craziest part to me is that I am trying to do the right thing and stop the spread but am met with ineptitude by the medical system.If I could give it 0 stars I would as places like this are the reason covid continues to spread. By continuing to create barriers to tests and vaccines.

I went in today 5.50 to see about being seen because I hurt myself in a car accident, minor shoulder injury and I tell the front desk person this and she tells me its going to be 135 dollars out of pocket, I said I have insurance and I have never heard of this .. she then says yeah and then your insurance can give it back! Lies..... I have delt with Novant forever and 2 days.. I went to another novant urgent care and no issues. Please educate your people on the services you provide

I made my appointment online and I was able to fill out the paperwork via text messaging. I didn’t have to wait very long and the communication from the staff was fantastic. Probably the easiest doctors visit I’ve had. The only person I actually spoke in-person with was friendly and professional and he made sure I was taken care of before I left and took the time to answer any questions.

For in office visits, this office gets 5 stars, they are quick and the doctors are nice and helpful.However, due to the phone follow up experience, I am giving them one star. When visiting, the doctor told me to call to follow up if I needed an additional medicine and she would send in a prescription. They do not return your phone calls and cannot leave you messages so it makes it impossible to receive help. The receptionist told me they were busy each time I called but could not tell me when I when they would call me back - they never did and ended up having to visit a different doctors office.I had a similar experience with another Novant Health facility. Do no go here if you think you will need any type of follow up after being in the office

I personally would not recommend going to this location. I had a injection in my arm from a b12 shot and the doctor refused to see me. The lady at the front desk was really nice but I have never had a doctor basically refuse a paying patient, with insurance who caused no issues. The reason was I needed to call the place where I received the b12 shot, notify them that I think it’s infected and then he would treatment. I asked him what would that do as they would not be able to treat an infection rather they would simply just know to check their vials as it could be a bad batch, Sanitary issue, etc but at the end of the day, they aren’t a physician so they can’t treat a infection. Arrogantly he said I could call them now and then he would see me but from his lack of care, the poor reasoning (as b12 shots are perfectly legal) and the way in which the situation was handled didn’t have me feel comfortable to see a doctor who could visibly see a growing knot on my arm but refused to take care of the situation.The thing is I feel they looked at my stature, as I actively train for fitness competitions, and assumed something else... illegal injection or not (and I will echo this was totally legal with paperwork documentation), one should not be refused to a medical issue at hand. It was a very poor experience and I would not recommend

04/18/22, I went just to see a doctor since I can’t get my allergy medication without seeing a doctor, I made appointment online and got there 15 minutes before the appointment time then I waited for one hour and still nobody calling my name. The reason I made appointment specific time also have to be somewhere after the doctor visit. I asked front desk black lady how long going to take before I see a doctor she responded to me very loud voice “it’s going to be a minute if you can’t wait you can go somewhere else”. I was so shocked hearing that. Are you kidding me I wasted all this time this is what I get? I was trying to be very patient so I can get what I need since I am already there, i waited another 15 more minutes and went back to the counter trying to ask if she can tell me the timeline, again she creamed at me with the loud voice. “ I told you when your time is ready I let you know” Another worker sitting one the left side doing some paperwork I was wondering she never bothered to stop her or getting in the middle to solve this problem, So unprofessional this is urgent care, someone is sick came to see a doctor not a fast food place. I been in this place a couple of time before, the doctors are very nice and helpful but today’s experience I got from that front desk lady unbelievable I ended up left the place without seeing a doctor. Very disappointed!!!

Unprofessional and rude service from the beginning. The phone rings and you can’t get in touch with anyone. Lily ( black girl with blue eye shadow) was dismissive and have no knowledge about the medical field. She told us Go Health offered services( cortisone shots) that it did not and was sarcastic and rude. She should work at Wendy’s, terrible experience. Dana ( the office coordinator) is nowhere to be found. I want to speak with a manager because this is company sucks. At least hire a knowledgeable front desk registration coordinator!

Two stars for the front desk staff and the nurses, they were extremely helpful and kind. My experience with the Doctor wasnt bad, she just didnt do her job. I went in with severe stomach pain and was told that it was all in my head... Fine, I went home and sucked it up, hoping it was just a problem with that time of the month. 5 days later I end up in the actual ER with a popped ovarian cyst... It was a horrible experience and I almost lost my ovary (Im 26). While I understand it could not have been stopped, I wish that the doctor at this location actually took the time/made even a little effort to figure out what was wrong with me. I was with her for under five minutes, and when I left I saw a pizza delivery guy walk in with dinner and I knew why...

This place is absolutely terrible!!! Dont even waste your time. I went in there on Thursday with cold like symptoms. I was seen by PA Lindsay Wright. She said the diagnosis was viral and prescribed me nasal spray and over the counter Mucinex. The symptoms only worsened over the course of the next few days. I was actually out of work both Thursday and Friday, bed ridden. Meanwhile, I havent been sick in about 5 years or have really taken any medicine at all. Its clearly an infection being that Ive been coughing up and blowing out yellow/blood mucus. I called Saturday at 4PM to speak with a nurse to see if I could get an antibiotic, based on the symptoms worsening and the mucus. I was told they would call me right back. I never received a call. I called back at 6:30PM. They told me a nurse would call me right back. I never received a call. My husband called at 8:45PM (knowing they close at 9PM), and a nurse finally spoke with me. She said she would write up the symptoms and they would call me back. I get a call back at 9AM Sunday, for them to tell me to add Tylenol to the treatment. Are your kidding me?! This is a complete misdiagnosis. She told me I need to come back in if I want to be seen again and she was only the messenger. This is absolutely insane and such a scam! Why would I pay another +$200 to go back into this stupid place? They literally need to shut these places down. Lindsay Wright shouldnt even be in practicing as a PA. Get a real doctor in there to fix this mess. I am so absolutely disgusted with these people who practice medicine. Im glad this is a simple sinus infection and not a life threatening illness. It just makes you wonder why there were so many unfortunate deaths from the flu in Charlotte...Its just sad that some of these individuals are even allowed to practice. Id love to see the statistics on each Doctor/PA for how many times they truly cured an illness vs misdiagnosed.

It came to quite the surprise when I brought my son to be seen & waited for 30mins to be told “we don’t take your insurance.” I was told I also had an outstanding bill from a visit on Feb 7th. I presented the same insurance which was accepted. I was informed today that this location has changed companies & quit accepting my sons insurance as of Jan 31,2019. This was never brought to my attention when we were seen in Feb. when I asked who do I need to speak to...the response was “I don’t know..” I told the girl we were going to Atrium urgent care... she was like “we can still see you, but you will get a bill though...” so, who do I dispute my outstanding bill to so it can be covered. Your staff on this particular day need to be retrained in customer relationships.

Dr. Buller spent almost half an hour with me explaining more to me about my symptoms and what I could do. Front staff was very nice, the wait was not long but we were there early. When we were called back the RN was very nice but, the PA that attended to my child was rude, she never introduced herself. The PA was going to preform a procedure without cleaning the infected area. I went to this location on 8/18/2020 to get a test for a possible infection. The Doctor didn’t even examine me just asked me what my symptoms were and I told him. He then tried to prescribe me medication that is very dangerous for Pregnant women. I told him that medication is dangerous based on studies and he says “oh let me go check”. I was in awe because what if I hadn’t done my own research and just took the medication I could of potentially damaged or killed my baby! He then come back with another option for medication(all the while nobody has checked my body to see what I’m dealing with). He then asks if I want a test and I said yes(that’s what I came here for) and they tell it it will be 3-4 days for results. Here I’m sitting 7 days out now and still haven’t received test results. I call and I’m told to just call labcorp for results. Why if this is urgent care are they not equipped to analyze test results there? Why was my time wasted? I wasted a visit and could of just gone to Fast Med! DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC! I’m in the same position I was today that I was in on the 18th! They did not ease my worries or help with my problem. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT IS MORE PROFESSIONAL!

Went in for a covid test, was told there was a $135 flat rate. I paid up front, got the test and went on my way and assumed that was that. Four days later, I received an email saying I had outstanding charges for physician services that I was never informed of. Front desk staff extremely rude. Also, not one had a mask on, yet yelled at us to not walk in because there’s a pandemic. We were in a stressful situation and did not see the sign indicating they were not accepting walk-ins. Instead of being kind and offering guidance they shouted at us rudely. Novant should be ashamed of the people representing them at this location (Thursday, November 19 at roughly 9:45am) and do something about it. I am not the first to say this, yet these people stay employed with nothing done about it.

Don’t bother trying to check in online, the website will act like you made an appointment but when you get there your name won’t be on the list. Also don’t pay attention to the wait times because they literally mean nothing. I was supposed to be seen within 0-15 minutes and waited for over 45 minutes before walking out. They don’t call people back in the order that the wait list says and the receptionist will act like it didn’t happen. Not to mention that have 2 doctors working in the peak season. Place is a complete joke, you’d be better off going to Minute Clinic.

I visited the s kings drive urgent care in charlotte nc on 1/17 in which the front office staff at that time was horrible RUDE about my insurance card, no on e was in the office and I wanted over an hour. I then saw dr potchick, in which he suggested any issues to contact a number and ask a nurse to send him a message. However as of 1/20 I began having issues i called to leave a message however the staff was nothing but horrible said thats against hippa and a form of stocking. I called on 1/22/18 starting at noon being placed on 20 mins holds telling me they were busy and continuously gaming up on me. Thats absolutely horrible considering ive now spent $120 for visits and my condition is worse and wasted medication. Your front office staff is non professional rude while hanging up on patients telling me their busy while calling sitting in the waiting room and no one in the office. Also when i returned on 1/23 I checked in at 8 am and waited an hour with only 1 patient in the waiting room called back within 10 mins.im discussed with this faculty and its staff.

My wife had a slight fever so we took her here in the same day. The moment we arrived there were not people waiting so we thought it would be a fast trip.. We went in pretty quick but it took almost 4hours! We kept waiting around for the staff to come in and do their job. Weve only been seen by the physicians assistant. At last they said they recommend to run an x-ray test for pneumonia just to be sure (which wouldnt take too long..). X-ray can cause cancer and I wouldnt do one just if absolutely necessary. At that point it was clear that they just try to upsell their tests. I thought that was ridiculous. We left home, my wife took couple Tylenols and her temperature is back to normal.

I got there at 7:15am and was the only patient there and the visit still took an hour and ten mins! I filled out all the paper work which was standard, only for the nurse to ask me the EXACT same questions. Next, the PA came in with a pad of paper and asked me the EXACT same questions the nurse had just typed into my file!!! They need to get on the same page about how they manage and communicate patient data. I already could hardly speak and having to answer the same questions over and over again was unnecessary. The PA never gave me a diagnosis or spent any time explaining what was wrong with my throat. She just said “It’s not strep and I called in a prescription for you.” Not helpful! I ended up getting worse day 2 so I called to talk to someone and they never called me back. I do not recommend!

Been here several times for my family. Front desk staff tends to be very defensive, every time. As if they expect you to get angry with them. They don’t take well to outspoken people. Also, I took my child in recently after he got hurt during horseplay with siblings. Pediatrician treated me like I was a child abuser & started asking my BABY questions like she didn’t believe me. Like cmon, I’m the one bringing him & bringing attention to the issue...not going back.

Very professional and courteous service. Doctor was most helpful by finding that the pain in my thumb was from a different joint than I had thought. X-ray and his description of the picture helped greatly in my understanding of what is taking place in my thumb joints and ligaments. The doctors are great, however, the reception staff is extremely unorganized. I made an appointment online, walked in to find only one other patient in the waiting area as well as one in front of me handling a payment. I was told I would be called to complete the registration process in just a moment. 20 minutes later, I walk to the desk to find the receptionist was no longer there. 30 minutes, I am finally registered. Because it took a half-hour just for to be registered, it was 45 minutes past my apportionment time before being called back to see a doctor. If I had the time to go somewhere else, I certainly would have.

This urgent care has a physician that only treats children. I like that they staff to meet the needs of the population. My son had a pencil tip stuck in his hand. I wish I knew the nurse and physicians names. They went the extra mile and even applied numbing cream before removing the pencil tip that was stuck in my sons hand pretty good. My son didnt even cry. Ive also visited this practice for recurrent sinus infections and theyve always did a good job with treating me and my son.

The staff was nice. The Dr said I had bronchitis and prescribed some antibiotics that didn’t work. I was only prescribed 6 pills. When I called 3 days later to tell them the meds wasn’t working and could the Dr call in a stronger antibiotic, that could tackle the bronchitis and they told me I had to come back in and spend more money on another visit. So I’m still sick with no meds after paying for a visit. So I’ll have to spend more money to go somewhere else. A wasted visit!!

Yesterday was the first time there for me, I would have to say you should always try things more than once but I do have to complain about the staff. There was a doctor at the front who was very rude when asking what my visit was for. The doctor that saw me made me feel super uncomfortable for my first time, very pushy. When she came to give me results /solution to my problem all she could say was that there were no prescriptions to used. Im highly upset that she souldnt help me in any way but to go for the pills first. I need original doctors not highly obsessed ones!

Charged my gf 140 and the lobby was filthy. She just had a few cuts. I’ll be fallowing up with periodic visits to this facility to demand a refund.There were dirty respirators in the lobby and trash everywhere. Contact me with a full refund and I’ll remove this review.Also the doctor was quick to prescribe anti anxiety meds for a very lifelike situation, it’s important people face their problems and aren’t handed a full pill bottle and call it ‘a couple pills.’They will be receiving a letter from my lawyer.

The receptionist and our nurse were wonderful. They were very sweet, understanding, and helpful.. BUT ... no amount of sweet, helpful conversations could make up for the attitude we received from the doctor, Linda Hablitz. Like any other patient who just received an injury we know nothing about, we had questions of what we needed to do to take care of this injury, her opinions on next steps to take, etc. She was irritated and rude the whole time and gave us quick, vague answers which usually prompted another question for clarification. After FIVE minutes (if that) of answering our questions she slaps her watch and says Time is a tickin, were getting closer to 11pm (when they close). What are we doing here, guys? Sorry to waste your time, Linda. I can promise you we wont be bothering you again.

I was admitted on an emergency basis inpatient in Charlotte at Novant/Presbyterian Hospital Thursday 6/20-6/23. I have to say that I received excellent care beginning with Dr Dawson at Urgent Care who recommended I go to the ER, through Adrian the Paramedic in the ER who fixed my IV and then the Nursing, med tech and house keeping staff on the third floor pulmonary unit who were attentive, professional, empathetic and kind. I want to especially thank Nurses Fabby, Lauren, Fairly, Victoria, David and Nursing Student Sarah, CNA Essie and Brandi as well as the respiratory services team, the IV Team and house keeping. They all made my stay easy even though it was a difficult situation for me medically. They are all appreciated.Dr. Carroll Y Lytch

Despite the fact that I had been diagnosed with Diverticulitis using a CAT scan, bloodwork and a hands on exam by a qualified MD in the ER the NP that I saw at Novant Urgent Care Googled the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer, pointed them out to me saying I had every symptom, and if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck! I couldnt believe the whole thing. I was a nurse, so I dont panic easily. What if this had been someone who does?I will say though, that my first visit at Urgent Care with a MD was excellent. He was the one who accurately diagnosed Diverticulitis. I will call first before I go again to make certain that the NP I saw during the second visit is not the only one there!

I cut my hand and went to the Matthews location to get stitches, but when I learned the Midtown location was closer to me I decide to go there to have the stitches removed. Big mistake!A medical assistant removed the stitches but the wound had not healed completely, it was still very open. The doctor started rattling off scar aftercare without even looking at the wound! I asked him if it should be this open and he said, Oh, let me look at it. Yeah! Why dont you look to see how it healed????They slapped some medical strips and a splint, that was the wrong size, on it. I could tell the cut wasnt being held together tightly. I left and went back to the Matthews location where I got amazing treatment! Staff there agreed that I did not receive proper care at Midtown.

We didn’t have an appointment snd they said it could take up to 2 hours but they had all 3 of us in and out within an hours. The staff is friendly and very helpful. It’s not close to my home but I travel because the professionalism of the staff.

Came here after trying several other urgent cares in the area with no luck. I’m glad I ended up here because they were kind, patient, my wait ended up being faster than estimated. Their NP has some of the best bedside manner I’ve ever encountered.

I went to two urgent cares on the advice of CVS Minute Clinic prior to coming to Novant. None of them accepted my insurance, and promptly turned me away. Thank you for helping me! It took me less than five minutes to check in on a device in the lobby. Five minutes later I was being called to the back for triage. Then I saw a Dr. in the next ten minutes. I was there all of thirty minutes and I was on my way to the pharmacy to pick up my meds! My own Dr’s office that has ‘supposed’ urgent care (that can’t even do xrays) isn’t able to do that! I will always recommend Novant to anyone I know that needs medical advice/attention in the future! I hope not to need you again anytime soon; but if/when my family should, I know exactly where to go! Thank you again!

The front desk staff act like they dont know whats is going on . you have to watch or they will skip your name . I brought my daughter in with a fever of almost 103 and i waited an hour in the waiting room before i decided it was time to take her else where. This is my third bad experience with this place safe to safe i wont make it a fourth time . I rather take my chance with the e.r.

If I could give 10 stars for this Urgent Care I would—especially Dr. Pochick. I came in Saturday night around 6pm after being a cliche millennial and getting in a scooter accident where I fell directly on my chin. I was taken back in less than 5 minutes where I was greeted by Dr. Pochick who did an amazing job keeping me calm and talking me through everything that was going on. 10 stitches and a tetanus shot later I was out the door—I probably spent no more than 30 minutes at the Urgent Care.Flash forward five days later (on Thanksgiving!), I went back to get my stitches taken out and got there a bit early around 10:50am (I made an appointment online for 11am) and was taken back almost immediately and was greeted by Dr. Pochick who remembered me (he asked if I made it to the Hornets game after getting my stitches that Saturday, lol that was a hard pass) and was again great at easing any worries and explaining everything that was going on as he took my stitches out. I was on my way home by 11:05.Thank you to the staff at this Urgent Care for making what could have been a horrible situation a bit more bearable and taking care of me ASAP. I can’t recommend this location enough.

Was here out of town when my 2 year old got a fever of 103.9 they were so helpful and you could tell cared for their patients. My daughter started crying while we were waiting for results and they came in and asked if she was okay and offered us some water for her.

I was seen at this UC after a horse fell on me! I went in for xrays. I was seen quickly and wasn’t left waiting in the exam room. The nurse was very nice and the dr (Mary) explained my injuries and even caught my current BP med not working and adjusted that as well. No one likes to have to go to UC but if you are in a position to need care right away, this is a good one.

I had high blood pressure (170/100) and received nothing: no medication, no prescription, no any medical help. Only recommendation to go to emergency. I went to emergency and they told me that approximately waiting time was 8 hours. It was crazy. VERY BAD MEDICAL HELP.

You would think once you check in as a walk in you would be put into a timely list and not get bumped every time someone checks in online. My wait goes from 1:30 to almost 3 hours because even though I checked in I’m a walk in and must not need the same level of help than others. I’d suggest fixing your system and stop advertising walk ins welcome when clearly they are not

Terrible experience!! The nurse practioner that saw me was clueless. She didn’t want to listen to my symptoms and missed diagnosed me. I went to a doctor 2 days later and he said I had a SEVERE case of strep throat. The nurse practitioner at this location told me to go home and gargle salt water. I would have been better off using webMD.

Don’t go to this place. I walked in and waited over 10 minutes in the waiting area. From there I was put into a room and left there close to an hour, no one never came into the room. But i saw a lot of people sitting looking at there cell phones on my way out with my refund in my hand... how do you forget that you have a patient in a room. I didn’t get not one apologize... On 5/4/2019 I visit the go health urgent care midtown south kings drive. The service and wait was terrible. If this is a company that is partnered with novant health its terrible. The wait was longer then two hours which I had to leave as the facility only has one provider working. I will never return to this location again.

Terrible. I went in for an urgent care visit @830 and they were not able to see me because they close @900. This is unnaceptable especially when youre in pain. If you close at 9 then make sure you can accommodate until that time not a minute earlier. Novant is the worst.
