I was so nervous to switch practices in the middle of my pregnancy. I wanted to have something closer to my home in Lake Wylie, as my last office was an hour drive one way. What a leap of faith I took, and I am so happy I did as I am even happier with this practice and the care I’ve received. The team at Steele Creek has gone above and beyond. I had a major scare last week with a kidney infection and was treated at an Atrium hospital. All of the Steele Creek staff were in contact with my doctors at the hospital and they made the whole process easy so I could focus on getting healthy. Also a major thank you to Dr.Edwards and his nurse, Stephanie. Truly wonderful people!!

Friendly, helpful and patient staff from check in to check out. I also notice they offer easy and quick check ins though smart devices. Each staff member was polite and thorough full medical history back ground check was reviewed . Dr. Steele is easy to talk to as she has an open, welcoming and safe approach from the moment she enters the room. Dr. Steel took the time to listen to my health concerns and and offered multiple solutions. She is what we look forward to seeing which is not just a doctor but she is my doctor!

I’m very pleased over all. Starting with the front desk very friendly. Dr. Are professional, knowledgeable and caring; especially dr. Steele. I would recommend this providers to my family and friends.

It’s always pleasant when I go here. Everyone l encounter is kind, courteous, and patient with patients from the front desk to the back office. The office is clean and refreshing. The nurses and doctors are knowledgeable and welcoming. My particular doctor is always on top of my health, answering my questions thoroughly, and providing the best care possible. Definitely ten star for me.

I’ve always have a positive experience at this office. Dr. Joseph Edwards and his staff were extremely helpful. Dr. Edwards took the time to introduce himself and discuss any possible concerns prior to me having to get ready for the exam.I always feel listened to and never feel rushed. Visited with Beverly Holmes for a hormone imbalance concern.Of course the day I go in is the day Im experiencing very low and heavy emotions and just wanted to cry .I felt very comfortable and unjudged by all staff members even as I battled myself from crying for nonsense reasons .I didnt feel like a diagnoses was pushed on me nor did I feel pressured into a treatment or further testing. Beverly set up a practical treatment plan with a timeline set for further testing if needed.Beverly Holmes bedside manners was the best Ive experienced thus far in my medical journey of trying to find a solution.I would highly recommend this facility for those that feel dismissed or unheard by other professionals.

I arrived 15mins before my appointment and checked in at the front desk although i had the option to do so online. I was called in by nurse within 15mins. She was awesome and pleasant. As usually my doctor was great. Dr. Floyd is always thorough. She makes sure you understand everything

My wife had a postpartum Dr. appointment via the internet. The practitioner called 10 minutes early and my wife was not available. She tried calling right back but just got a message saying sorry you missed you appointment. Atrium treats their patients like they are only insurance policy numbers- not like people needing health care. This, along with other instances just go to show how they care more about money than anything else. My wife was needed that appointment badly. I will never recommend Atrium to anyone who wants to go to a company where the patient is first- because your not. You’re a way for Atrium to make money-that’s it. They should be ashamed of how they treat people.

I have been going to the office in Steele Creek. I must say that I have had the best experience! This is my third pregnancy. I had my 1st at 23 weeks, and my child passed the next day. Being a high risk patient, they have listened to all my concerns, and have helped me stay calm the whole time. I am now almost 32 weeks and I am excited to be welcoming my little girl into the world soon. Im so thankful for having these providers by my side through the whole process!!!

What can I say about Atrium Pineville Women Center, if I could give 10 stars I would. The care and attention is outstanding. The level of care and attention, the welcoming atmosphere is amazing. The nurses, midwives, doctors are truly amazing. I would recommend Atrium Health 100%.

I had a squeeze-in appointment and saw Dr. Edwards and Nurse Lisa. I was having bleeding during early pregnancy and was an absolute mess. Nurse Lisa hugged me and even held me as I cried. They were both kind and reassuring. Dr. Edwards was positive while also honest and professional. They both told me at separate times, as I was thanking them, that the comfort of their patients were top priority. I really felt that from them. I cannot describe what it meant to have that level of personal care while going through the absolute worst moment. So grateful for them, and 15/10 recommend!!!Also, had my blood drawn by Latoya and didn’t even feel it!! She’s amazing!

This office is clean and friendly all around. Moving to a new area gets scary finding new doctors that are personable and that you can trust. I have been seen by Dr. Steele, Dr. Edwards, and NP Taylor Hayworth and they have all been extremely wonderful. I would recommend this office to anyone. Plenty of medical staff too, so getting an appointment is pretty easy.

I did not get a proper breast exam. Dr. Hannah did my breast exam with my gown on. She did not look at my breast for discoloration or abnormality. Her medical assistant tipped over my Pap smear sample and proceeded to take the sample and transferred it to another container because the fluid inside spilled all over the counter. Dam sure not going back!

My appointment went well and my obgyn doctor was so nice and friendly!

Atrium Health Piedmont GYNOB is a great place. The staff is very friendly, professional, and always provides great service. My visits are well worth the drive.

I hate to be writing a review like this considering the doctors have been great. The front desk, however, has been so rude they made my wife cry. God forbid there are any complications to your pregnancy where paperwork is needed. They will make sure they blame you for not having everything done well before youd think its needed.

Hannah Steele is such a great OB Doctor. She is caring, kind and listens. Great place to discover your new OB doctor.

I was with Dr Floyd for the first time. She was friendly, seemed caring. I did not feel rushed. I arrived a few minutes ahead of time and got it quickly after. I have been to see Dr. Steele in the past so its good to know that I would be happy to see either at this facility.

Lisa a nurse at this facility was rude, unprofessional, and condescending this morning. Today my daughter in law thought she had an appointment for an ultrasound to find out the gender of her baby. Myself, my son and my daughter all took the morning off of work to be at this appointment with her. We excitedly approached the door to walk back with her when the nurse (Lisa) said there was only room for one. When my daughter in law explained to her we were there for the ultrasound she said and I quote, “ that’s not how this works! No your not!” When my daughter in law started explaining what she thought she was told at her last appointment she again was instantly cut off. “No that is not correct,” without letting her even finish her sentence. At this point I stepped in and told her she could be a little less rude and show some compassion, to which she didn’t even look up at me. Anyone who has had a baby or is in this field should know this is the MOST exciting moment for an expectant mom. She should have let her at least talk, then she could have explained in a much nicer and professional manner at how it works, not it doesn’t work like that! Also I’m sorry for any misunderstanding or communication, and I’m sorry you all took off work would have been appreciated. I couldn’t believe it! If I was the doctor at this facility, Lisa would not be my nurse! Maybe she hadn’t had her coffee or whatever but we’re actively searching for a new facility. It’s astonishing to me how professionals don’t know how to be professional!

I had my first visit with Dr. Floyd today. She was amazing! Dr. Floyd truly took her time with my appointment and was a concerned provider. The nurse/medical assistant and front office staff were all friendly, warm, and professional as well. All star care!

Highly recommend this office and Dr. Floyd! She is so sweet and listens if you have concerns!

My appointment was for 8:15 AM and I was taken in early, at 8:10 AM. They were better than prompt. I didn’t have to wait long after the medical assistant typed in all of my information into the computer before the doctor examined me. The doctor was very friendly and pleasant. I appreciated this since it was a gynecology visit.

I normally don’t give reviews but I need to. I had a hysterectomy then a complication, 2 surgeries later. Dr.Floyd has been nothing but amazing. From my first visit to the last visit, got cleared today. The entire office has been amazing. Short wait times, all very professional. Per circumstances it could not have been better. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Floyd and her staff. Thank you all,Kayla Deese. Ps. Even both of my hospital experiences was great.

Emily is the BEST ultrasound tech EVER! Absolutely love her sweet self! Takes her times and cares about your questions! She’s so knowledgeable! Also Dr. Alvarez is the best! Been coming here since I was 12 and the experience just gets better with each appointment! They truly care about their people ❤️

Been seeing Dr. Moynihan for about 3 years now. She saw me through my first pregnancy and delivery and I cant say enough good things about her. The office staff is always quick to respond and pleasant and I feel like the care is very personal. Def. recommend.

Only reason i didn’t give 5 stars is because i wish they had more locations with this practice & providers besides Steele Creek & Ballantyne. I have been going to this group of providers for years and would recommend them to family/friends if in search of honest & efficient OBGYN’s. I love the fact that their hospital of choice is AH pineville to deliver at since that maternity center at Pineville is one of the best around and has won many national rewards. Most of the staff at both locations are always compassionate & treat you like family.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hannah Steel for several years now. She did my hysterectomy back in December 2020, and has been there for my during my transition into menopause. At 48, I was not too excited about having to go through menopause so early, but with Dr. Steels care, I am confident that shell continue to be here for me if I have any issues or questions in the future. Ive already recommended her to a couple of my friends.

Dr. Steele is wonderful -- very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Very satisfied patient.

The nurse and doctor was really helpful and intelligent but I had to wait for too long! My time was tight and I couldn’t wait almost an hour for my appointment.

For annual checkups, this place was fine. But when I went to my doctor with actual issues and concerns, she blew me off. She told me to basically “wait and see”. I found a different doctor outside of the Atrium system and got a quick diagnosis and treatment. No amount of “waiting and seeing” would’ve helped. The notes the doctor wrote up here also made me sound aggressive, when really I was trying to advocate for myself. Also, the doctor sent me for bloodwork and it was $700. Will not be going back here. Honestly, probably won’t go to another Atrium.

It used to be better but lately this practice is slipping. I had 2 pregnancies I didn’t have the best delivery with my oldest but I blame pineville neonatal practitioners for that not my Ob. It seems lately it’s just impossible to get seen in a timely manner. Then when I was seen I was very specific about the medication I wanted prescribed to me (I am a pharmacist) and the Dr called in a dose 5x’s higher than what I should be on. I called back to ask for a change and they said 3 business days. So I waited then the nurse called to argue with me about the dose. Not really happy about that experience.

I had a really great experience with this facility/office- the ladies up front were very kind and efficient. My appointment with Dr. Steele was wonderful - both her and Jessica (nurse) were very caring, open to listening to my concerns, and were able to answer all of my questions. I have a lot of history with trauma and this office made me feel very comfortable and at ease even with those worries/concerns.

I went in to get my nexplanon removed and replaced. I had a rough expierence. I did not care if it was a male or female dr since it was just a replacement. (No annual exam).The male Dr that attended me was a bit too eager about my annual exam. (Made me uncomfortable). Then he told me that a physician who was training was going to do the procedure. He did not ask if I was okay with it. (Ive always been asked if I was okay with someone in training to do stuff). Ask they were doing the procedure, he talked her through it all. (I get it, its training) but it made me very lightheaded. I told them I felt like I wad about to pass out.. he then said Im so sorry, at least youre laying down and did nothing more to accommodate me. Luckily the nurse that was in the room offered me a cold damp rag and an alcohol prep pad to keep me conscious...Overall I had a rough time. I know this procedure is not fun but its my 4th one and it was the worst expierence yet. Not sure if Id want to return in all honesty.

I had my first appointment ever with this office,I saw Elizabeth Floyd, I am very impressed with her, she talks to you in a way you understand and gives you hope.She seems to be very prepared to help and handle your medical problem, I am very thankful for this office from the moment you walk in until you walk out you are shown respect and compassion, and that you as a individual case matter and I feel very reassured that from here on out Ill be traveling the 60 miles one way to continue care with this office and group.Thank you.

Dr. Steele is an amazing provider. She is an excellent clinician and always takes the time to answer any questions that I have.

Dr. Moynihan is by far one of the best physicians. She is kind, she listens, although she is very busy, I never feel rushed. The ladies at the front desk and the nurses are also truly lovely. I am not a fan of what these large companies have turned our healthcare system into, but I can say, thank goodness there are still amazing practitioners still willing to serve and help us with a kind heart.

Even though I had only one pregnacy appointment at this location, I want to give 10 stars and beyond to midwife Lori Williamson. I had the luck to see her during an emergency visit at the Pineville Maternity Center. She was so caring and reassuring, she really took her time with me, and helped me calm down during my first ever panic attack. I was so impressed by her, that I chose to schedule my induction at 37 weeks when she was on rotation. Again, another amazing experience. My delivery went smoothly. She explained the induction options very thoroughly. She gave me honest advice. She helped me overcome excruciating pain throughout the labor. I am so grateful for and to Lori. Thank you for helping me bring baby Eric in this world!

Go to another facility that cares about their patients and is honest when they mess up, please. They improperly placed my IUD, admitted to it, and are currently trying to charge me for the appointment that I went to, to get it fixed. When I reached out to them about it and explained everything to them, (IUD was giving me pain went to get an ultra sound and the tech said looks like it’s been improperly placed). They are giving me a hard time because “Nobody would have admitted to improperly placing the medical device and it probably just turned inside me”. Okay… I know what words were spoken to me as I’m getting a physical ultrasound inside me in pain and discomfort. I went through so much pain getting this improperly placed IUD out, and then getting it put back in, the same day, and now I’m dealing with this second bill that I should have never been charged with to begin with.I was willing to let this go —the pain I went through, I wasn’t going to file a complaint as long as they just take care of this second bill that I had to come in for because of their error, but at this point I’m super aggravated at their dismissal and hassle this is causing me.

Great staff - thorough and attentive.Pray you don’t need blood work, lab testing or any follow up appointments. Horrible scheduling.Plan to wait at least 24 hours for a blood draw and several weeks for “non-urgent” screening and exams. It very discouraging for addressing issues with this office since their scheduling doesn’t come off as patient focused.There’s always a line at a check in and check out as well.

Staff were very friendly and comforting. The entire appointment was seamless. Dr. Floyd has an excellent bedside manner. This appointment always causes anxiety for myself, but Dr. Floyd made me feel at peace. Highly recommend!!

DON’T GO HERE!!!!!!!!!I am a college student who lives 3 and a half hours away from the doctors office. I called over a month ago and scheduled me an appointment. I drove over 3 hours to the appointment just for the receptionist to tell me that they scheduled the wrong 😑 appointment, couldn’t see me, and that I am a new patient. I have been going to this same office for over 6 years. I AM NOT A NEW PATIENT. After asking to speak with a supervisor and waiting for a phone call, the problem still isn’t fixed. They don’t care about their patients. If that was the case they would have fixed the problem and taken me seriously when I called. Women go ANYWHERE other than here!!! Find somewhere that respects you as a patient!

Dr. Moynihan really cares about her patients and takes her time explaining things. Everyone that I have encountered in her office has been amazing. The lab down stairs though is a different story. The ladies down there are rude and don’t keep the draw station clean.

I have a order from a midwife that I need to be schedule ultrasound. This order was given a over week ago.. I’ve been told 2 separate times that someone would call me back to schedule the ultrasound. So I finally called and was told that I need to call the authorization dept. It does not take 4 days to get a authorization approval. I moved here from Ohio and was not excepting this kind of healthcare service. Major disconnection here.

I absolutely love this practice. I’ve been a patient since 2014 and would not go anywhere else for prenatal or general care. I never have to wait longer than 10 minutes to be seen unless there are unforeseen circumstances. The providers I have encountered are always attentive, concerned, and sensitive to the beliefs of their patients. I am grateful for this practice.

Dr. Elizabeth Floyd and nurse Cici made me feel most comfortable, especially for a GYN appt.. They are professional and knowledgeable with the best personality/bedside manner. They’re great listeners without any rush rush attitude. Thank you for a pleasant caring visit.

Absolutely loved my first visit with Dr. Moynihan - shes highly informed, friendly, and caring. I used to go to the Cleveland Clinic and loved my gyn there, but I found Dr. Moynihan was every bit on top of my kind of quirky problems, including knowing my dose for one of my meds was too low. In addition, I never felt rushed while she was in the room, and felt no discomfort during the exam - a first for me. Highly recommend.

I can’t speak for the entire staff not having experience with all of them but every time I have been to this office I have had a positive experience. The people at the front desk are friendly and so are the nurses. Dr. Steele is my doctor and does an excellent job at explaining a medical condition or any questions I have about a procedure or test I’ve needed. Dr. Steele is warm and personable and has been reassuring to me when I’ve experienced fear of test results or procedures I’ve needed done from complications with my ovaries or any other health issue I’ve had since I started coming.What matters to me in a doctor is one that can be friendly, professional, knowledgeable, reassuring when you’re facing a potential health issue, doesn’t make you feel rushed, and answers your questions in terms anyone can comprehend. Dr. Steele meets all that criteria and I highly recommend her and this practice.

Dr. Alverez and his entire staff are so attentive and kind to both me and my daughter. Dr. Alverez went above and beyond to find out what was wrong with my daughter and she is now thanks to him being treated appropriately! thank you so much

My wife is going on 21 weeks pregnant and needs to schedule her ultrasound. Weve been told 4 separate times that someone would call us back to schedule and havent been contacted once. I left a voicemail for the practice manager, and still nothing. I NEVER write bad reviews because I know what it can do for a business, excuse me....hospital. However, I would hate for someone else to go through what were going through to get care for our baby and pregnant mother.

First the wait time was very short. The staff was friendly. Best of all was my Doctor. Dr Moynihan is amazing, caring, personable and efficient. Thank you for the experience.

Saw Dr. Steele for routine annual appointment in July and had no issues. Dr. Steele is very knowledgeable and personable! I HIGHLY recommend her!Office staff were as prompt and efficient as possible. It is a very busy office, and people need to plan accordingly and be patient. They take the time necessary to answer each patients questions.Had to pop in for some follow-up paperwork and they were VERY obliging.Really like this practice!

My visit today with Dr. Silverton was absolutely amazing. It was my first time visiting this practice, and everything went smoothly, from front desk check in to vitals to the actual exam. Having an OB who listens and takes all of my concerns seriously is the most important thing, and Dr. Silverton has been one of the most down to earth, sweet, and caring healthcare professionals I’ve ever seen. She took her time and listened to every single one of my concerns, and worked with me to come up with the best plan of action. I’d highly recommend her for all of your OB/GYN needs.

If I could rate with negative stars I would. My fiancé and I are expecting our first child. Currently we are seven weeks pregnant, and today was supposed to have been our first ultra sound (Insert excitement here) as well as two other appointments to ensure our baby is healthy. At 7:20 AM we received a voicemail notifying us that they our 9:45AM ultra sound had been cancelled, and the two additional appointments would subsequently need to be rescheduled due to this. We were advised that this was due to an unforeseen absence of an employee. While I recognize that unforeseen absences happen, I also know that as large of a company as Atrium is, and the importance of a Childs health that you would have contingencies in place. I.E. Resourcing the ultra sound to another Atrium provider(s) when unforeseen absences or coverage gaps occur. This would make logical sense. After spending an hour on hold / conversing with the scheduler, we were told we would receive a call back within 30 minutes with additional options for an ultrasound today... As of right now, weve been waiting an hour. For all the perspective or expecting mothers out there, I would encourage you to review the comments from other individuals regarding their satisfaction as I have. If I would have known what I know now, we would have already been looking for another provider. - Based on the previous reviews I expect a canned response - Thank you for the feedback call XXX which does nothing to help. I will also be sending this note to which ever leaders I can within the Atrium Network

I have been visiting this practice for more than 10 years and it just keeps getting better. They really work to stay on time and everyone is so friendly and attentive. It’s clean, the staff explains what they are doing and they note all your concerns and follow up. This is a great practice through all stages of reproductive health.

Its always a great experience whenever I go see my OB/GYN doctor. No complaints.

I did not like their attention because they always told me that it was all normal, however I had a bleeding and I let them know the day of my appointment on December 6, 2021 they said it is normal and on December 11, 2021 I was in a room From the ER with only 23 weeks and 5 days they had to take my baby out because he was having bleeding. In addition, I delivered some papers which are necessary to be able to have proof of my work but thanks to them I will lose my job because they have not sent anything at all. I just thank the nurse who removed the staples from my body. If I were to get pregnant again I would definitely not come back here.

Dr Hannah Steele is great. Always smiling and willing to discuss any concerns, no matter how small. Office runs smoothly and quickly.

Doctor Silverton is an absolute gem. Her nurse Ashley amazing! The whole crew made me feel at home and at ease. Finally found my office tribe.

Spent most of my last pregnancy here and felt ignored the entire time. Even though I was high risk and had preeclampsia in a previous pregnancy I was denied care to make sure I didnt develop it again. I was actively denied urine tests and was told they dont do them anymore and when my blood pressure was high and I made an appointment the Dr told me to stop worrying and it would be fine. It was not fine. I should have been put on medicine but never was and ended up delivering my son a month early due to severely high blood pressure. It was a real disappointment all around with the office.

Unfortunately I haven’t had very good experiences here. Nurses make smart comments and recommend me beauty products for stretch marks during pregnancy. Like I haven’t tried! Very unprofessional and one nurse told me I “have to be scratching them” because they’re so bad (the marks). Luckily I’m not very insecure about that sort of thing so I was just angry and annoyed more than anything but for some people those types of comments would really mess with their overall confidence! They’re constantly cancelling appointments and asking me to reschedule them sometimes the day before as well.

I saw a practitioner that I havent seen before. She was thorough, professional, and really listened to my concerns & questions. Overall, Ive been very happy with the doctors and APRNs that have cared for me at this practice.

I’ve had multiple bad experiences with this group since I first found out i was pregnant. But last night I went to the hospital to find out that i’m in PRETERM LABOR because of an untreated UTI i complained about THREE TIMES to different doctors and was told i “didn’t have one.”. This practice is an absolute joke and you can’t even sit here and tell me that that wasn’t a medical malpractice. My babies health as well as mine was put at risk because of complete negligence from this office.

I went here throughout my first pregnancy and had great experiences. I unfortunately had a miscarriage the second pregnancy but midwife, Lori Williamson was extremely caring and helpful throughout the whole process. She has also been helpful with bad pms symptoms that Ive been experiencing recently. She is wonderful!

If you need a doctor for infertility, DO NOT choose this one. It is hard enough to have the stress of TTC. These people just add to that stress. The first visit was with a nurse practitioner who gave me the next steps for my situation. I followed those steps exactly and got no responses, no follow-ups, nothing. I made another appointment to get answers only to find out that the process they originally told me to follow was wrong. They put me through labs and “visits” with hardly any info and no credible future steps. I thankfully went to a different practice and they have been amazing! I know what do for now and what to expect for future visits. This is how it SHOULD be.

LOVE this office and my physician! She is always very kind and professional, and she is always sure to make me feel comfortable, understood and like she genuinely cares about my health and well-being.

Im so upset and disappointed in this placeLets start off by saying 1st off Im not from North Carolina so before I came here I knew I had to have all my ducks in a row because Im highrisk .. I reached out to this office 3months before I came here to schedule an apt. Bc its hard to get seen by a dr once you get 20 weeks and up..Well my apt was on Friday at 730am and at 8 I got a call at 645am that day letting me know they had to cancel due to the dr being sick I understand things happen but in cases like this they have no back up plan? I informed the lady I had called this office twice before my apt bc I was having problems and no one called me back so I ended up going to the er she said she would see what she can do and call me back. Smh they called me back just to say unfortunately we have to reschedule.. we have no dr to see you .. I asked even with me being highrisk I have to have cervix chks every week and havent seen a dr in 3weeks bc I just moved here and was waiting for this apt.. all she could say is sorry.. no. She wasnt sorry and this office had truly disappointed me.. I switched new offices

I typically have a good experience with nurses and doctors at this facility . I am in my third trimester and I do not have any risks so my appointments feel a little rushed through.

Went into Surgical menopause on 8/31 was told to go to this OB office and waited a week for an appointment with Dr.S because I have no hormones and am in complete crash. Dr.S refused HRT because of an inaccurate statement in my medical file of DVT which I have never had. I explained surface blood clots I have had from extensive travel from military life obligations but treatment is refused unless I can produce medical documentation that I have never had this. Even though she has no medical proof I have ever had this but does have the medical evidence of surgical menopause.Office manager called me and nobody in Atrium will remove inaccurate information from my records and are refusing treatment. Demanding I prove I have never had DVT even though there is no way for me to get or remember every doctor I have had from all over the USA for 20yrs.Just avoid atrium medical as they refuse to correct anything anyone puts in your medical records and anyone can put anything in your records and they can’t even see who put it in your records because this is what’s happened to me and they don’t care.How are we going to discuss this further. You just sent me a certified letter saying you’ll never treat me again and to find health care somewhere else and to never go into any of your 3 offices ever again. Maybe you the owner don’t have communication with your offices and know everything that is going on. Either way we can’t communicate since I have had this letter sent to me so if you do want to communicate you’ll have to call my number you have it.

As a first time patient I felt valued. Dr Floyd spent time with me discussing my issues. She was very knowledge and I appreciate her bedside manner.

With my first pregnancy I was seen by Novant Health and sadly I miscarried. My second pregnancy I continued with Novant Health and really didn’t like the treatment and care. I than switched to this OB office with my third pregnancy and it has been a great experience. Dr. Steele has shown that she really cares. Very smart and makes me feel great. Other doctors I’ve seen always tells me negative things that am expecting mother doesn’t want to hear. I highly recommend Dr. Steele for any expecting mother’s.

This is my first pregnancy and so far, any visit Ive had and encounter with any nurse, doctor, or even the ladies that check me in, have been nothing but pleasant. I feel very satisfied after every visit and happy. Every place has its low points, but for me, all of my visits have been great!

Im always met with friendly helpful faces when I visit this care team. My provider Courtney Moynihan goes above and beyond at listening and providing great medical advice that aligns with my values and needs.

Get here with my girlfriend at 10:20, have an appointment at 10:30 and it’s now 11:00.. I’m still sitting here waiting and we have another appointment at 11:15. There were people arriving after us and they were called in before. What the hell is going at this place?RESPECT OUR TIME!!!!!!I do not need additional stress on me, especially her and the baby.

Had left home to make it to my 36 week appointment here and they call me while im still 30 minutes away to ask me to come in early. Told them i was on the way and already running 10 minutes late. They said okay and that was that. When i didnt show up early for them, they marked me as a no show and i wasted $100 in gas to get there. They wanted me to reschedule.

Totally incompetent staff. I called first thing Monday morning to speak to a nurse and at the end of day Tuesday they still haven’t called back. On my third call to them they said they had no record of my first call, and then said they didn’t have my phone number because I hung up too quickly after I called the second time. After pointing out that they could have easily looked at my chart, she says “they don’t do that” when taking messages. Unbelievable.

I initially had bad to mediocre experiences with this practice (and can understand some of the negative reviews). Then I saw Dr. Moynihan. She is the most thorough doctor I have ever seen - never feels rushed and always welcomes questions and good information. Like with any large practice, you are going to have different personalities and experiences.

If I could give negative stars I would. They constantly contact two days before an apt to cancel and then dont want to work with you to find a new apt that fits your schedule. Not everyone can time time off work at the drop of a dime. Some of us have to schedule time off weeks in advance so cancelling apts really puts us in a bind, being forced to take attendance points at work or miss a necessary apt. This has happened to me for the last four weeks and now its too late for me to even find another OB. If this is not something you want to deal with stay far away from this place!!

First visited Dr. Steele at the Steele Creek location back in mid September to get a Calpo. During the procedure I was advised that she needed to do a biopsy. After the biopsy was done I was told the results wld take 10 days. After calling what seems like 1000 times finally on October the 28th, after I refused to hang up without the results, telling the person I was talking to I would be there in 10 minutes, and having to use a different phone to call my physicians office and asking them if they could get the results, Dr. Steele finally took the call and told me basically that she couldnt learn anything from the test and that it needed to be re done. The new test was scheduled for today January the 11th. I felt that was an extremely long time to make a patient endure the agony of not knowing if they have a very serious issue going on. But I waited. Today when I arrived at my scheduled appointment I was asked if I knew I had an outstanding balance. I told the receptionist that I was not aware of that balance, she said that was fine and told me what the balance was and directed me to have a seat. Once I was taken to the back I was told the Calpo could not be done without a urine sample for a pregnancy test. I was never given instructions that I would need to do such a test and it was definitely not done before the first Calpo. After drinking some water, the assistant returned to the room and informed me that Dr. Steele did not want to wait for me to use the facilities but instead wanted to reschedule the entire appointment. Not only did I not want to wait yet again to find out rather or not I have some type of terminal illness, it wouldnt have been feasible for me to take yet another day off work to come back for said appointment. Again, I was NEVER advised that I would need to give a urine sample. So I asked the assistant if she could ask Dr. Steele to come in and speak with me. A few minutes later someone else who was not Dr. Steele returned to the room and advised me that Dr. Steele would in fact not be able to perform the procedure because I had an outstanding balance. Now I am questioning why this was not told to me by tge receptionist when I checked in. Needless to say I am very upset as well as dissatisfied with the patient care at this office. It is my belief that I was refused care because I did not want to reschedule the appointment. Had I been informed that I would need to give a urine sample this entire situation could have been avoided. I never did get to see the Doctor as she refused to even speak with me. Four months later and I still have no answers. Praying its not cancer.

Everyone from the front receptionist, the nurses and Dr. Alvarez are friendly, helpful and make you feel like you’re their favorite patient. I drive almost an hour to go there and it’s absolutely worth it!

Go somewhere else. This office is awful.The staff isnt able to answer basic questions.I waited for over an hour in the room after they had me strip naked and get into the paper dress. It isnt exactly a nice process in the first place but waiting naked and cold for over and hour was infuriating. The only reason I stayed was to ask some serious questions which I was brushed off on anyway. The doctor made me feel like I was wasting her time and like she could care less what my concerns were. I chose to ask her instead of the internet, but Ill take a Google diagnosis over that treatment any day.Im in the process of finding another doctor to go to as I have ongoing issues this office clearly couldnt care less about.

This place doesnt deserve any stars! - but I cant post this without giving them one...Over the past 3 years I have entrusted my family to this organization but not anymore. After receiving super high medical bills: one event a $7,300 bill and no diagnosis and blank looks on the staffs faces.. I wanted to beat someone when they offered me Advil for pain... after all the blood work, scans, 5 hours, etc.. and nothing.Even worse, the OBGYN has taken over 3 months to release medical records. I did everything on my part to get them the proper documentation, signed and submitted, but still nothing. Have called their office over 30 times in the past month just to get answers. Manager said was willing to help out but now not returning calls and baby is due in weeks...Stay far far away from this place. They need Jesus.

The office is clean and everyone is very attentive. Dr. Alvarez takes his time answering all my questions. I am very happy being a patient there.

Had a great experience with first pregnancy. Who knows what happened in the past year. This second pregnancy, I wait an hour an half to see doctors every visit except one. I want to be treated as a pregnant woman seeing her doctor, not a number in a rotating waiting room. Leaving the practice.

I recently had a HORRIBLE experience in getting a birth control refill. I asked for a refill on Tuesday and was told it would be filled that day but no later than Wednesday (today). I called today and found out from a different receptionist that Dr. Steele has set a 72 hour turnaround time and has set a policy where refills do not need to be filled up to 72 hours after the request. I repeatedly informed the receptionist I was out of birth control and requested the prescription be filled right away. She said there was nothing she could do because the Dr. has that policy. I was never informed of a 72 hour turnaround time and have never experienced this issue with any other doctor. The communication is poor, and as a result, I had to go to CVS minute clinic to fill my presciption so I would not be more than a day late on my pills. They filled the prescription quickly and for a full 12 months. I will NOT be going back to Piedmont GYNOB as the service and doctors are completely unreliable. I understand that I should have maybe requested a refill sooner but emergencies happen, and this office and doctor were not there to support my needs.

Best health care I have ever experienced. All the doctors care about your well-being and always remember details about each person. I would highly recommend.

Awful! Don’t visit this provider. It’s a SCAM! They charged me twice for the same visit. They think I was able to visit the same doctor 2 times at the same time. It was a wellness visit, but they keep saying it was also inpatient visit. It’s nonsense. Any calls or letters to customer service don’t help. They force me to pay $200 for nothing! 😡

I went to this office with an experience I’ve never in my life thought I would find myself in the place was extremely busy and felt rushed and being that I have been to free clinics when I was younger this place gave a worse feeling than that the office manager asked me to come to her office and stated that she canceled my appointment because I expressed to the assistant that this place is busy and asked how much longer would I have to wait after giving my urine and weight I asked if I could just get get the procedure done since I had already been their and waited she told me NO and to me to leave I work in the healthcare care field and wish this this feeling on no one I never cussed nor raised my voice but I will never go back

What a complete and utter disappointment. Ive had medication prescribed to me I was never told about, calls that were never returned, a very time sensitive test they tried to cancel the morning of with no resolution, given the wrong location of HSG test and now a $6k genetics test they submitted to an out-of-network lab, when they had my insurance information to check this before screwing me over. I absolutely hate this office, the staff is negligent and the only person I will speak with is the practice manager. I cant believe this practice is still open. DO NOT go here! DO NOT trust them with your health! DO NOT give them your business! I have never been so let down in my life.

We use the GYN OB office here, well i should say we did, the staff was very rude, they sent us a letter stating we needed to pay $3300 + upfront or we would not be seen to see how our 2nd child was doing in the womb. They sent us this letter 1 week before it was due, once we paid we were told we would get no surprise bills and it covers all the prenatal visits, ultra sounds and the labor and delivery... well after each appointment we were surprised with a new bill but no explanation as to what the bill was from, when we asked we were told this must be paid before you can be seen. The staff has called us 10 to 20 minutes before our appointment to see if we could reachedule as someone else decided they wanted our time slot, we made these appoinments a month i advance for a reason. Once we had our baby we recived yet another bill saying we owe them more money and cant seem to figure out where this money is owed as our baby was 3 weeks early and we were told the labor and delivery was covered. while in the hospital the mid wife came in when we arrived and did not return for 9 hrs right about the time my baby was coming out. This has to be the worst service i have ever recieved the staff is rude and they talk down to you, no one can answer any questions you have but yet they expect you to pay them for services you have yet to recieve or might not even recieve... if you are planning to visit the GYN OB location i would advise you DONT ... we have also asked for itemized copies of our visits several times and have yet to recieve anything except more bills.

I have to say I was very worried about bringing my father to a CMC hospital after our last experience was so bad. He had chest pains and I took him to CMC Pineville...after an hour wait we left and have gone to Presbyterian ever since. My father had a bad asthma attack today, this hospital is literally 5 mins from his house so I brought him here. We are both so happy with CMC Steele Creek! He was immediately taken in and cares for...Meredith our nurse was attentive and caring and Dr. O actually talked to us and not at us. Between the hours of 5pm and 8pm, my daddy was admitted, vitals checked, received three treatments, steroid medication, oxygen, x-rays, consultations and discharged. We were given the option for extended treatment but he wanted to be home. Thank you CMC Steele Creek for giving my daddy your best!

In Aug 2019 I had relocated to Clover, SC and I was 22 weeks pregnant. I was referred to this practice by people who lived in the area. So I called them told them I would be transferring to this practice and was told all I needed was my medical records. I had my former doctors office print out my 50 page report and hand delivered it to piedmont because I didnt want a gap in coverage. I get a phone call that next day from Tonya (no one gives you last names). She informed she was missing information. I called my doctors office again and asked them to fax the records to Piedmont and they did. It was weeks of going back and forth. Fast forward six weeks and I never heard back form Piedmont. I went to Caramont womens health- Ashley and they called me back on a friday and said I was good to go and they would call me Monday to schedule an appt. Ashleys womens health did in one day what Piedmont couldnt do in six weeks. Be aware of this practice especially if you are a transfer patient.

Some of the staff are very rude. The dont review your blood work properly. They give you the run around. When you speak with a manager nothing gets done. Im fed up. Its too late in my pregnancy to switch so Im stuck with this awful service.

Went for pain for Kidney Stones...was in hospital for an hour and got pain meds which was great. BUT also taken to get CT scan without explanaition and after having had heavy pain meds. Came out with $7,800 bill for 1 hour of care which helped ease the passing of a single kidney stone. Talk about ineffective and excessive care.The worst of it is that they were able to discount a total of $0.00 for me. I am not kidding. I worked with their director over the emergency and the director of their billing department both reviewed my situation and both said too bad you owe us every penny. They seriously wouldnt write off a dime to help me for a test I never wanted or consented to in the first place. What a complete joke, I am disgusted with the attitude and dismissive nature of this hospital. I would advise anyone to find another hospital to go to if possible. If it is an emergency MAKE SURE you know what tests they will run on you and tell them NO if you dont want to have certain tests done. Would have been nice to know before hand.As a side note I went in the middle of the night and my restroom was covered in the last persons urine. I know its off hours and they were understaffed but thatt unacceptable. I notified the nurse on staff and he said he would have the custodial staff take care of it, 1 hour in the room and no dice. Still smelly urine infested bathroom.

Arrived around 7pm on Friday night for chest pains, was in a hospital bed by 7:15pm. Was very impressed with this emergency room. Once they realized it was non-cardiac it took a while for the nurse to come back, but I understand the reasoning for that.

Love the GYN team at this practice! Switched at the end of my pregnancy with them and I am so glad I did! It is a longer drive than my previous GYN practice but is worthy!

This was my first time at this place. I saw Dr. Elizabeth Floyd. She and the nurse were great. I actually felt comfortable at a GYN appointment.

I was recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes based on the result of a 1 hr glucose test. My OB, Piedmont GYN/OB referred me to Carolinas Diabetes Center. When I spoke to Carolinas Diabetes Center I was told that my initial appointment would be a 2 hr class costing approximately $700. I declined the appointment explaining that I couldnt afford to pay $700. I then explained the same thing to the office manager of Piedmont GYN/OB and requested a different referral. Instead, at 30 weeks pregnant, I received a letter from Piedmont GYN/OB terminating me as a patient. Now I have no prenatal care for the last several weeks of my pregnancy. This is absurd.

The staff is very professional. I saw the Midwife, and was impressed by her knowledge and willingness to find the reason of my troubles. Thank you.

This practice does not care about their patients. They will send you a letter if you cancel appointments 24 hours in advance and terminate you as a patient. They are careless and will terminate you instantly before even notifying you that they dont tolerate canceled appointments. They WILL REFUSE YOU CARE BEWARE

Dr Steele is truly wonderful! Personable, professional, caring and kind.

They denied me care because I had to bring my daughter with me to my appointment. I have no one to watch her and am unable to take extra time off of work. When making my appointment no one told me children arent allowed. I wasted over an hour of my time to just be turned away and no one cared. I will be going elsewhere from now on

My mother in law was brought by ambulance on Sunday around 1:30 p.m. after falling and sustaining a head wound requiring three staples. The nursing staff was extremely rude and slow to provide assistance (entering 45 minutes after nurse button pushed). When she asked to re-position her legs because they were aching and cramping, the nurse sighed out loud and said with an exasperated tone where do you want to move them? When we asked about her head, the nurse retorted What about her head? I could not believe it. Someone from your head office needs to do a customer service check at this location.

The doctor is amazing every time I come she is willing to answer all the questions I have and understand me when I have things that have never happened before.

I cannot speak for all the physicians and staff, but Dr.Bale has been able to diagnose health concerns for me that no one else could plus he did so easily without putting me through unnecessary testing. I trust his experienced judgement.

Terrible, being from NJ I didnt realize an IV costs $3,000. I needed IV for Mirgriane and was charged for the room rental and additional Dr. fee. In NJ you pay a 50$ co-pay and your on your way. Im not sure how the ER system works down here but Ill never go back here!
