I have been going to EOBGYN for 25 years. I had both of my babies through them.I love the staff here. They always welcome you with a smile and are so friendly. The nurses are amazing, they are always so nice and make you feel so comfortable. Then there is my Dr, Dr Whitten. I just do not have enough words to describe how wonderful she is. She is so kind, patient, never ever makes you feel like you are being rushed. She takes so much time with you and really listens and helps you. I look forward to seeing her to catch up on our kids etc. she has been my Dr for many years. The place all around is wonderful.

Amazing first visit!!This was my first appointment and of course I was very nervous. From the moment I walked in I was welcomed by friendly front staff and nurses. Dr. Sarah Pollock was so kind, reassuring and friendly!! She walked me through everything. Made me feel super comfortable and by the time I realized it everything was done!! Quick, simple, and stress free!! Lovely staff and doctors 😊

I recommend staying away from this facility. They will charge you/your insurance for an annual AND an office visit, for something that wasn’t even completed. Went in for my annual, was charged for my annual, which wasn’t COMPLETED! I did NOT get my breasts checked, so malpractice right there, and when I discussed things that are WHAT YOUR ANNUAL IS SUPPOSED TO COVER, got charged for an additional office visit. I didn’t even see the doctor for 5 minutes. I tried reporting the doctor several times. She told me to not take my sugar pills of my birth control since I’m having night sweats, shrugged everything off, made excuses for everything, and didn’t give me any information or help me at all!!! I gave them one chance after my gyno left. My friends, family, and especially me, am not going to be returning.

I had a great first experience with this OBGYN. The check in desk receptionist answered all my questions & were friendly, the nurses were great & comforting, and Dr. Brown was great at talking with me & through my IUD removal. She listened, was kind, and did not rush me at all. I look forward to making this my permanent OB.

Loved DR. Palmer, he communicated in Spanish for me to feel comfortable as well went through all procedures and explained everything. He was so delicate. 100% recommend him.

I love the staff! They are very professional and always greet patients with a smile and take care of their needs. Dr. Jain shows how much she cares about me as a patient. I love catching up with her and asking how her daughter is doing. She also ask about my twins. I love the bond we have. I have been a patient of hers for 25 years now. Dr. Bohmer is a fantastic doctor. She is kind, thorough and very knowledgable. A patient can be confident that they are getting excellent care from her.

The office staff at this practice are professional and courteous. Dr. Brown is an amazing physician with such a caring and comforting bedside manner. I was a patient at the Indian Trail location but it closed. I am glad to drive the 1 hour and 15 minutes it takes me to get to the Arboretum office so that I can remain a patient of Dr. Browns. She is truly the BEST!!

Dr Jain is fantastic. Spends lots of time with me, at my appointments. Great personality, enjoy seeing her each year!

Dr. Jain is very caring and a good listener. She picked up on some of my comments and contacted my internist to follow up with me. That is a great level of care that felt very personal.

I wasn’t happy at my last visit. The doctor was very pushy and rude. So much so, that I wasn’t going to go to this place again. I had a somewhat urgent matter. I tried this practice again and saw Meredith Perez. She was outstanding!On my next annual visit, I was seen by Taylor Hayworth, NP. She was outstanding as well! I highly recommend these two providers!

I can imagine receiving no better care. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Whitten is the best ... warm, astute, careful, thorough. She calls me personally when she has concerns after an appointment or after reviewing test results.

Ive been a patient of Dr Browns for several years and she is phenomenal. Very caring with a wonderful bedside manner. The staff is wonderful, I highly recommend.

Excellent customer service when making appointments, and connecting appointments so you dont have to come back on a different day!! Check-in was timely, and my wait time was 10 minutes!! Love this office!

Dr. Jain explains your symptoms in detail. She takes her time and you always feel at ease with her. Staff is pleasant and if there is a bit of a wait they have snacks and drinks while you are waiting to see the doctor. 5 stars all the way!!

I am a nurse which naturally translates into high expectations! Dr Brown exceeded my expectations. She was kind, caring and put me to ease from the moment she entered the exam room! It’s easy for post menopausal women to feel less valued in the OB/GYN clinic! My expertise was the exact opposite! Thank you Dr Brown and team!

My experience with the entire staff was seamless. Dr. Palmer is probably one of the most informative MD’s I’ve encountered. He took the time to read my chart, ask me specific questions, and address any concerns I had about my health and wellbeing.

Im 20 and I went to get the Kyleena IUD today. I saw Dr. Caruso and she was amazing and the nurses here are wonderful. They always make sure I have everything I need and they walked me through the process perfectly before hand and during. They answered all my questions and they are super quick with everything, whether its lab results, procedures, scheduling appointments, checking in etc.

Beautiful facility. Staff is wonderful. The appointment flow is quick but at the same time, they take the time to address your questions and concerns. Dr. Jain was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. Happily answered my questions and addressed my concerns. She is the first doctor that I feel has actually listened to me and is getting me the help I need. I was very pleased with this practice as a whole and am lucky to have found them.

From the time I walked in the door, everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. They seemed to enjoy their work and the people they worked with.

I have been seeing Dr. Whitten for about 25 plus years. She is by far one of the best doctors in town.

I’ve been traveling almost 2 hours (one way) to Charlotte for a little over 10 years to see the fabulous doctors at Eastover OBGYN. My background and story are long, and not for this review. Had it not been for the grace of God, and an amazing college friend insisting and me an appointment for a second opinion with Dr. Blaha all those years ago, I wouldn’t be here and able to leave this review. He saved my life after the local doctor I was seeing really whiffed my situation which began as a common, routine issue.My first visit, Dr. Blaha spent over an hour with me looking over my records, talking to me, and doing his own assessment. He was in pure disbelief at the things he read and the ones I personally shared that were not included in my medical records. Even more so that my (then) current condition had progressed to such a serious point where my life was just hanging in the balance.It took over 20 months, 5 or 6 surgeries, and many, MANY trips to Charlotte, but Dr. Blaha and two other amazing doctors he sent me to who were affiliated with CMC (Dr. Higgins and Dr. Wang) saved my life! Even when I was not directly in Dr. Blaha’s care, he would stop by my hospital room, give my husband or me a call to check in, or leave a note with one of my other doctors to let me know he was still following my case closely so that he could be on top of things when I was back in his care.This level of personal care did not end when my health problems did. Each and every trip, he asks about my family, my job, hobbies, and is specific with his questions. I know he sees thousands of patients, and I know that I’m not “special” - I mean I am, but what I mean is, I know he does this for everyone.If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would as he is deserving. I’ve only met one other doctor in my lifetime who takes the time to listen, understand, and look for the best course of action if a problem arises.If you’re looking for an OBGYN, whether you are local, or would be traveling like I do, I promise you will be taken care of extremely well at Eastover ONGYN! There’s just not enough good things in can say about Dr. Blaha, his colleagues, nurses, ultrasound technicians, lab technicians and support staff! As long as I’m around, I will travel to them!Lastly… they have 3 locations - the arboretum, which is where I usually go as it’s a little closer, but I’ve been to the other 2 locations as well, and recommend them, too! Indian trail and the office at CMC (hospital).

I personally LOVE this practice and everyone apart of it. Every doctor i have seen has had wonderful bedside manner and took the time to listen. I am on my second pregnancy with this practice and have absolutely no complaints. I am always able to find an appointment that works with my schedule and the ladies at the front desk at the Arboretum location always greet me with a smile and remember who we are. Its a good feeling to be treated as a person not JUST a patient. I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Jain at Atrium Eastover OB/GYN Is personable with great communication skills, a sincere interest in patient care, and is extremely current in the latest resesrch in the field. I have found my OBGYN physician for life and I am so delighted.

Ive been a patient at Eastover OBGYN for several years & Ive always had a successful visit / experience. Dr. Blaha is my primary physician & he is extremely thorough and truly cares for his patients. He is always explicit in his diagnosis & explanation & makes you feel that youre his primary patient and not just a number on the list of who to see that day. Dr. Jain was great to me. I had a very positive experience. I had an alarming situation and they got me in straight away and then laid out all my options with literature to take home and decide for myself. I felt very empowered by the experience and Dr. Jain was very informative and helpful with all my questions. They got me back in immediately for my chosen procedure and all has been as she described. I couldnt be more pleased with the immediate care, professionalism from the staff and short waiting time. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing from my pregnancy confirmation appt to my discharge from the hospital! Kindest office staff at Arboretum location and thoughtful patient nurses. Doctors make time for me even though I know they are rushed and hospital delivery staff was top notch! My post partum nurse made me feel like I was her only patient and I felt a little sad to leave. I am so grateful for all of my providers!

Atrium Health Womens Care Eastover OB/GYN is excellent care for women of all ages and stages. It is a comprehensive womens health care practice with top doctors. Each doctor takes a personal interest in their patients, does a thorough exam, and follow-up is excellent. If there is a delay to see your doctor it is posted so you are aware of this time. I have been going to Eastover OB/GYN for many years and never had any problems. Communication with each doctor is excellent.

I am so glad I chose this practice. I have been a client for 25 years. Recently had some routine testing that required back to back appointments. The staff were supportive, friendly and accommodating. I was treated with kindness and respect. I never felt rushed or trivialized. I never waited more than 5 minutes. I chose to see a physician I had not seen before and he went out of his way to be supportive and to answer my questions. He even called himself with my results, instead of having his nurse call. I cannot recommend this office and this practice enough!

Dr Susan Brown is knowledgeable and pleasant and positive. She listens carefully to you and takes the time to respond thoughtfully and thoroughly.

I saw Dr. Blaha as a new patient for a well woman visit. He was personable, professional and took time to address any concerns or questions I had. I felt very at ease with him. The entire office staff was very welcoming and professional.

I am so very disappointed in this office. First, when I call to make my appointment, the women that are scheduling are SO RUDE. They have no customer service skills. I had an appointment scheduled for almost 2 weeks for a 4pm appointment, it was going to be our very first prenatal appointment. My husband and I were very excited to figure out how far along we were and get all the information needed. When we arrive, the lady at the front desk says she can’t find my appointment, treating me like I’m stupid and have no idea what I’m doing. After further investigation on their end, they noticed my appointment time had been changed to 8am. I received no phone call about a time change!! I wouldn’t have gotten my times “mixed up” because this was extremely important to me, and my husband. It’s been on the calendar since I called to make the appointment. When I spoke to the manager, she went back to talk to my doctor. He was leaving and didn’t even care, told me to just reschedule. My husband had already asked off work to be there and everything. They didn’t even try to make it right. They don’t obviously care too much about their patients. I will be finding a different doctor TODAY, and I will make sure all my friends and family know about my experience. I’m completely baffled by their way of handling things.

Dr. Brown is absolutely fantastic and if anyone needs advice on fertility or needing a trust worthy OBGYN she’s the one! Highly recommend

Dr. Eskridge is a literal life saver. I’ve been seeing her for going on 11 years now and will never go to another doctor. In fact, when she changed offices a few years ago, despite it now being a 20-30 minute drive for me, I followed her. Not only is her bedside manner fantastic (she’s funny, she’s laid back, she explains things in a way that makes sense) but, after multiple doctor visits where each doctor “checked” my neck without saying a word, she thought she felt something a little off and sent me to have it checked out. Not only did I have a large benign lump on my thyroid but, finding that led to finding I also had cancer. Now she is treating me for large tumors she found in my uterus after realizing I felt “full” at a routine checkup. Seriously this doctor does her due diligence to ensure the health of her patients and I could not recommend her more.

Most unorganized health provider I have ever been to. Apparently they have recently switched their systems over which has caused nothing but headache and grief for patients. I was set up on a payment plan and they sent my bills to a debt collector anyway. Some doctors I have seen have been fine and others have absolutely ZERO bedside manners. I have had nothing but issue after issue since I have started going here 6 months ago. If I werent already in my 3rd trimester I would most certainly switch doctors. After this baby is born I will never return. If you have never been here be fully warned -- RUN!

Had an appointment on 4/23, and I spent more time being checked in than actually being seen by the doctor or nurse. My primary care physician sent me there to discuss BC options. I was in there literally 10 minutes, I watched the clock. They took my weight, blood pressure and urine sample. I spoke with the nurse for around 2 minutes. The doctor came in, never gave me a chance to speak, gave me a pamphlet and said “your fine on your temporary prescription, read this and you’ll be fine. You don’t need to come back unless your spotting continues for weeks. The way out is down the hall and make a left.”I spent my money for mediocrity. I’ve already done my research on BC with my primary physician. having an appointment with Dr. Taylor was just a waste of my time I just felt like a check for there computation rate with Blue Cross.

Dr. Hong was so kind and compassionate. She really listened to me and thoughtfully answered my questions. I was so pleased with my appointment experience.

Dr. Whitten is very thorough and she recommended a book with exercises for seniors to help me maintain my best physical health. As an active senior, I was appreciative.

My ultrasound appointment was scheduled @ 730am, no sign of anyone in the building and sign says 8 am are opening operating hours so I am standing outside completely confused as to why they scheduled this time, double checking online to make sure Im not crazy. Walk in at 8am and the front desk attendant not only doesnt come to the window to help but yells across the room from the back of the office asking for my information, tells me I missed my appointment (obviously) then asks why I wouldnt attempt to come in the door that very clearly says they dont open until 8am... why would I attempt to come in a building that appears to be CLOSED... they need to change their signs to reflect the correct business hours and perhaps hire a more friendly front desk receptionist that actually helps instead of getting an attitude and lecturing people for mistakes. I have loved working with Atrium Eastover during this pregnancy but this will be my first and last appointment with this specific location.

My annual visit was very thoughtfully navigated at Eastover. All my questions are always answered ... everybody from reception to end of appointment are polite, friendly, respectful, caring and professional! Love them!

I have been trying to get an appointment since Feb after my PCP referred me for a procedure - it’s now the end of April. I have been repeatedly calling the office to be my own advocate, since they won’t call me back or follow-up with the referral. They have been promising a nurse would call to schedule my appointment for weeks - she never did call and documented that she called me and left a vm. Untrue. The administrative staff was as helpful as they could be trying to get someone to call me, but the triage nurse and nurse supervisor were extremely rude the one time I was able to speak to them on the phone. They should have been apologetic, but I could barely get a word in. Very unprofessional, poor “bedside manner”. I have never been to the office, but I can tell you I’m not wasting my time anymore. Going elsewhere! Don’t waste your time and go somewhere that actually cares about you as a person.

Dr. Jain and her support team are FANTASTIC! She made such a good impression on me that I will only ask for her from now on. She is personable and knowledgeable and through.Four stars only because the front desk staff could be more respectful. They ought to address patients by their name or by “miss” or “ma’am.” Using diminutives like “sweetie” or “honey” is disrespectful and condescending.

Eastover OB provides the best care possible! They’ve been with me for the births of four sons, the oldest of which just had his 40th birthday! The care I’ve received is second to none! Thank you Eastover OB for such wonderful care throughout my life!

I have been going to Eastover Obgyn for more than 15 years and seen just about every provider . I do not have any ONE negative thing to say whatsoever.Almost 9 years ago to the day... I went into preterm labor with my son, it was Dr. Kalich that admitted me when I was 70% effaced and contracting every 15-20 minutes at 32.5 weeks pregnant.So when you are admitted on the OB high risk floor at CMC main can will certainly be guaranteed to meet and see just about every Dr. In the practice of not all at least half . Each physician back then in 2007 was a class act!! Very professional, yet very compassionate as well knowing this was our first child and my husband and I were scared to death literally .I highly also recommend delivering at CMC main if you have that choice!!The staff is phenomenal very caring, patiently listening to you , your worries , concerns , questions.. Not rushing you to get to their next patient .I love, love, love, Dr. Jain, Dr. Eskridge, and Dr. Kalich(not sure if she is still there). I try I go to the aboretum location (now ) just as its most convienent for me. But if I have to go to their uptown location I wil generally request Dr. Lucas!!!! Wonderful , grand hearted physician, who knows exactly what he is talking about he is indeed doing his calling in life!! I very highly recommend Dr. Jack Lucas .But as far as these 2 negative opinions ... I never everyone of us are unique beings and also are more sensitive also then others , so we (all) are going to take things differently in life.But Im sorry I do NOT believe for one second that any snide remark was voiced regarding any young lady or womans virginity!! That IS not who they are! Like I said Ive been coming here over 15 years and I would go nowhere else and Ive lived in the CLT area over 25 years. So please when choosing an OBGYN please take these above negative comments either a grain of salt and give them a call and develop your own experience and your own opinions . Thanks for listening . And by the way my little preterm baby born 5 days after I went into preterm labor with him 7 weeks early at 4lbs and 16 inches long is a very active a very smart 2nd grader (now) reading on a 4 th grade level and excelling through math exceeding 2nd grade expectations . I would let any one of them delivery my baby, should I ever be blessed to give birth again(highly unlikely ) but I totally place all of my trust in their compassion and caring, professionalism for each and every one of their patients. *update* the receptionist said she refunded my money but when I called to see why it didnt show on my account, they informed me she had not and that she was no longer working for them, and it took 2 calls but the money was finally refunded. I appreciate she no longer works there but she obviously should have been gone long before.*****This was such an unprofessional office. I had an appointment this morning, but I have had a fever for the past few days. I called to make sure it was ok if I came in for my appointment. I spoke with a receptionist AND one of THEIR nurses, both of which said it was ok for me to come in. so I get there and the lady at the front tells me that my insurance isnt going through. I ask what she means. she vaguely says its unauthorized. ok, fine. I paid the Co pay and decided to file the insurance later after I could see what was going on. then I told her I had been having a fever, and she says oh let me get you a mask, I dont wanna get sick. um, ok. then, a few minutes later she tells me I have to reschedule because I have a fever and I explained to her I had spoken with 2 people who said it was ok. she said whenever someone speaks with a patient that they mark it in the chart, basically calling me a liar. if I wasnt feeling so under the weather I would have fought a little harder to be seen (which I shouldnt have to if 2 employees told me it was ok.) When I get home, I call the insurance company and I tell them what happened and they said everything was fine with my insurance and that whoever who had been filing it must have been doing it incorrectly (imagine that)! this was the most unprofessional Dr visit (attempt) I have ever had. and then she had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to reschedule. I think not. now I will most likely be late in getting my BC prescription. thanks alot!

I will not recommend Eastover OBGYN (located in the Arboretum area) group to anyone because of their billing practices. All doctors that Ive seen for my prenatal and postnatal care are good, Dr. Eskridge was my favorite, but once it comes down to bills, its one big mess that its not worth to put up with. Still waiting for them to file claims with my insurance company for date of service from Nov, Dec 2015, Jan, Feb 2016. Here we are, 7 months later and they still havent figured out how to file them. They keep using the same excuse, they try to file them, but the system wont kick in??? Not sure what that was suppose to mean, but pretty sure Im not the only one that theyre submitting claims for. Theyll have to mail a copy to the insurance and wait for another 30-40 days. That will make it 8 months since the first day of service. I think they have bigger fish to fry than to file my small, insignificant claims for prenatal and postnatal care because theyve already collected a global payment from me before the delivery day and they know that the payment from the insurance is much smaller than the global payment. In case youre not familiar with the global payment, its a down payment before providing you with their medical services. That was something new for me and should have been a big red flag, but too late to start doing research and find a different doctor 2 weeks before the due date. I ended up disputing the charge with the credit card company and Im waiting on a refund from them. Do yourself a huge favor and find a different group before it comes down to this nonsense, this is the last thing that you need when you need to take care of a newborn.

Have used them for 2 of my pregnancies. All I can say is Dr. Blaha is the best! Hes kind, cares and listens. Never had any issues with staff either.

I can’t say enough good things about Eastover OBGYN Arboretum. The staff is always so nice, the office is clean, and Dr. Blaha is great! Totally recommend.

The staff is very friendly and efficient. Im tired of wearing a mask, please stop with the political theatrics and allow patients to decide if they want to wear a mask or not.

I went here for my first pelvic exam (Im 20 and was coerced into doing it in order to get my birth control prescription filled, even though there is basically no point in getting one until age 30- which is paternalistic and sexist, but which is another issue entirely). It was so horrible. She had someone observing, and I was so embarrassed I started crying and both of them just ignored it and barely spoke to me. The doctor is absolutely frigid. I will never go back to this lady again.My sister also goes to the doctor here and told me that when they asked if she was a virgin and she said yes, the nurse said, well see about that.If you would like a warm doctor who doesnt make you feel humiliated and horrible about yourself, stay away.

The very best advice I can offer you if youre considering going here is run away as quickly as you can. They do not have the time to properly treat their patients. I suffered a still birth under their care that given standard care most likely couldve been avoided. Go somewhere where they wont treat you like cattle.

Annual Physical

I was very disappointed that Atrium Health deceives their patients by not giving truthful information on the website about what doctors and locations are available with certain insurance. Its completely absurd when they know my insurance and its options, but secretly slip in addresses where a doctor will cost you full price. Also, Atrium Health defaulted to the fact that the visit was a billable visit, and I went for a second visit not knowing that it would also be billable!!!!!. I ended up having to pay about $500 to these scammers just because they willfully hid from me that my insurance did not cover these visits. It turns out that my doctors services are covered at two other places, but the one closest to me is not covered by my insurance, and I didnt know that, I thought the list of places was listed according to what my insurance covers.Maybe its my new Blue Cross insurance, because my previous one (Cigna) didnt have this problem. So Atrium Health cant properly provide information according to each insurance. Shameless employees of this organization and I will not recommend them to anyone else. And Blue Cross are scammers too, dont cooperate with them no one!

I didnt know what to expect when going to the doctor here in the US, but so far it has been a good experience, the staff has been very friendly, the doctors are very attentive and professional, they care so that the patients are cared for and informed about the diagnoses and what The best thing is that they work with insurance and that helps a lot with the economic part.
