I have had a wonderful experience with this practice, particularly with Dr. Termin. Being new to Charlotte and also having a baby during the pandemic, he put me at ease and is a great physician. He and the office staff were kind, caring, and professional. I have delivered babies with 3 different OB’s at 3 different hospitals, and this is a great practice! Highly recommend.

I wouldnt recommend this location to friends, but if you need an OBGYN, the doctors are willing to help.I went for a Kyleena IUD placement and had a terrible experience. Before the appointment, I received conflicting instructions from multiple calls. The procedure began normally, but when the first IUD was inserted, the physician accidentally pulled it out while cutting the strings. She assured me this had never happened before and asked if I needed a break. I declined, so the nurse fetched another IUD. The second insertion made me feel nauseous, and I began vomiting uncontrollably once the instruments were removed. I eventually removed the IUD myself at home to alleviate the pain.I called the office, and they suggested monitoring the situation or going to the ER if it worsened. I scheduled another appointment that day, where they examined me, took the IUD, and gave me medication for nausea and pain. At the end, the OBGYN asked about future birth control, but I was too exhausted to discuss it. I wont be returning :)

Dr Termin is amazing. He is conservative with what you need for optimal health. The new office space looks great

Dr. Termin is one of the best there is. Hes attentive, personable, and has a genuine concern for his patients. I have really enjoyed having him as my OB/GYN for primary care.

Everyone was very friendly from the time I arrived at the check in desk to leaving after my visit. Nurse Midwife Monica Horne was very welcoming to me as a new patient, she allowed all the time I needed for questions, and I look forward to future care with her. Highly recommend.

Sadly, I did not have a great experience. I was a new patient at this location and was not impressed with the OB doctor ( Charles Termin, MD or the staff ) . I called to speak with a nurse and an emergency appointment was made. Upon arrival i was asked to wait in the room. While waiting, I could hear the doctor (Termin) and nurses laugh at my symptoms. The doctor entered my room without introducing himself, confirming my DOB or name. His posture was slouched and he seemed uninterested in what I had to say. While explaining what I was experiencing he answered with Ive never heard of that before, I see you are going to be my problem child, wow, thats interesting, I wonder what that is and my personal favorite, I did not confirm your name or introduce myself because I thought you knew who I was. The entire visit showed absolutely no medical solution or empathy. I am new to the area and I would drive an hour 1/2 to my previous OB than experience this again. What I experienced was unprofessional and unethical.

I work with Dr. Secrest. I like her, she is genuinely nice and answers all my questions.

Ive had a great experience so far while pregnant. Dr. Termin as an easy chill demeanor which helps keep me calm. The staff at the SouthPark office are so nice and friendly and I look forward to all of my appointments.

Dr. Termin was my provider during my first pregnancy and delivered my baby via c-section. It was such a pleasant experience. I felt extremely comfortable trusting him and his team with my prenatal care and delivery. It’s very apparent that they genuinely care about their patients. My incision is very discreet and my recovery has been very easy. Anytime I have a question or need help, I get a response very quickly. I am very pleased with my prenatal experience and will continue to see Dr. Termin for my routine care. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for routine care or prenatal care.

Dr Termin and team are absolutely amazing. I am always greeting with warmth. I travel several miles to come see them when I have plenty of providers within a 5 mile radius from my home. Why go somewhere closer when you can get the best care here. Clients/patients/etc may provide mixed reviews which is normal but even if the ball is dropped they are always quick to work with you to make things right. Kindness goes a long way even if things are not always 100% the way we like it. We live in a world of instant gratification and the healthcare workers that sacrifice themselves to care for us each day should never be punished for it because of one faux pas. I love this team and will continue coming here. To Dr Termin thanks for being part of my care team at Atrium Health.

I had a great experience at this location of Atrium women’s health office. The doctor was on time, very nice, and explained everything in depth. Definitely recommend!

Disaster, all around. I have lost count of the number of hours that have been wasted in this waiting room. Select providers are great, others are awful. I was overcharged by over $1000 for the delivery of my son with zero complications, we were never given an explanation of why they over-billed us and took our money, just received a check in the mail over a year later. At almost 41 weeks my induction was performed carelessly and incorrectly and the mistake caused extreme pain. It was not addressed or corrected for hours until my husband complained for a third time to the nurse. I am grateful for a delivery that was ultimately safe, but the way things are run under Atrium is an absolute disaster.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Termin. All of the staff was quick, pleasant, and working as one. Dr. Termin had amazing bedside manner, very kind, informative, and made me feel very comfortable. Im glad I established care with him.

I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. They kept me and my baby safe during a scary pregnancy. I am forever grateful.

Started working with Dr.Christine Secrest and for the first time I feel heard and my symptoms validated. 10/10 recommend a visit with her for your care.

I have never had a long wait time for a scheduled exam with this practice. In my experience, this is unusual. Monica Horne is an excellent medical professional. She takes time to know me during my exams.

Dr. Termin is a thoughtful, kind, patient and skilled physician. He truly makes me feel heard and respected. I’ve been a patient for at least 8 years, and will continue to be. He truly cares.

Dr. Christine J. Secrest, MD, was very callous, dismissive, unempathetic, and disrespectful after providing extremely traumatizing and brutal care. She did not fully explain the extent of the procedure, what adjustments she needed to make during my scheduled procedure and she continued to disregard my intolerance for pain and attempt to inform her that she did not prepare me or fully explain what she was doing and why she was being so brutally aggressive in performing the procedure. She did not listen to me as the patient at all. She was defensive, belittling and demeaning when I was speaking to her during the procedure and offered very dismissive and unempathetic comments. Her response to my saying that she did not prepare me for what she was doing, at all, was inappropriate and callous. She was very brutally aggressive and assaultive. I was very traumatized and immediately felt extremely violated by her lack of care, lack of communication, dismissive attitude and demeanor and disregard for my pain, discomfort and suffering during and after my procedure. I immediately broke down in tears after shed finished, crying loudly and uncontrollably as I felt that I had been brutally violated while in a very vulnerable physical place and position as well as being violated while trusting someone that was entrusted to help and sensitively offer care and relief. I requested that she not enter my room again after being assaulted and she again, disregarded my request and reentered my room offering a very monotone and callous, seemingly forced attempt to explain her actions and behavior but she reminded me that I couldnt just sit in the room as they had to get me some care. The assistant helping with the procedure was appalled at the doctors behavior and actions but maintained a professional posture and was extremely empathetic toward me and what transpired. Dr. Termin was able to finally intervene and offered very appropriate trauma response care to me while I was still sitting on the examining table. I was numb, fearful, and in shock and disbelief at what had just transpired in the doctors office. Dr. Christine Secrest should not be allowed to continue practicing at the expense of traumatizing, physically assaulting, and violating patients who are trusting her with their care. She is absolutely not concerned with the patients overall health and well being but appeared to act in entitlement while relishing at the power differential between me as the patient and her position as the doctor/healthcare provider.It is the job of Atrium Health to ensure that all patients are safe and their physical, psychological and emotional health and well being are intact not disrupted and violated after an experience with your doctors and healthcare system. This should not be tolerated or minimized. I wish that0 stars was an option.

DO NOT COME HERE! This is a sorry excuse for an OB/GYN. After learning I was pregnant, I figured a practice in the Southpark area would be a good choice, and this had mostly good reviews. However, each time I came in for an appointment, the front desk staff was clueless. They would schedule me for the wrong appointment time, causing me to wait for almost an hour at times (never apologizing for the wait). The front desk women were cold, never welcoming, and barely cared or remembered who I was- until it came time to bill me, of course! Then, after waiting in the small doctors office for what seemed like forever, I would have a 5 minute appointment and rushed out. Even the ultrasound technician had no bedside manner! To top it all off, after switching practices, it was an absolute nightmare trying to fax over my records. No one on the phone knew anything, half the time it went to voicemail (of course, with no call-back), and every staff member I talked to kept transfering me from department to department, each person more inept than the last. Needless to say, I NEVER recieved my records (after more than 2 weeks of continuous calling) and ended up finding a way to print them myself. This place is a joke- no place for pregnant women!

Atrium Health Womens Care made me feel safe and cared for during my procedure, I had a very good experience from check in to check out. All were caring and warm.

I love my Ob Gyn Dr. Termin!!! I have known him for years and he has supported my journey and has always had a high level of integrity.

Had a billing question. Left message on 6/3/16. Never heard back. Called again 6/7/16. Never heard back. Called again 6/13/16 and was told Id get a call in 48 business hours. Didnt. Called 6/22/16 and was told Id get a call back today or first thing in the morning. Didnt. Called 6/23/16 and after refusing to leave another message and demanding a face-to-face meeting with the practice manager, Tiffany Robinson, I was transferred to her. She was very apologetic and said they should never have such poor customer service. She gave me her direct number and said she would personally look in to my issue and I would hear from her in 7-10 business days (this was 6/23). Guess what? I didnt. I have since left her voicemails on 7/26, 8/1, 8/15 and 8/19. I am beyond frustrated and have never felt less valued as a patient. INFURIATING. I do NOT recommend this practice if you are looking for somewhere that would do something as simple as return a phone call.

It was a great experience! The Nurse Practioner was great. The front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly.

Mixed experience. Good providers but wait times for my last three appointments have been 45min-1hr past the appointment time.

I have been coming here for 3 years and through a pregnancy. Dr. Termin is very knowledgeable and kind. I never feel rushed. The nurses are also great.

Dr. Rouse and her staff provide excellent care and customer service from scheduling an appointment to checking out. I recommend Dr. Rouse to everyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Charles Termin since my first time at this clinic and he has been my best choice! The attention of the nurses, the reception and the doctor is 100 points. They make me feel very comfortable and safe.

For 8 years I have had my woman care checkups at this clinic, I have always had very good care from my doctor Charles Termin whom I recommend 100% and his team.
