The specialist named Michelle Ballard has and is quite rude and disrespectful towards me. Each visit she has been tranaphobic. She ignores my chosen name and insists on dead naming me. She insists on calling me sir and Mr. On the forum we sign I write out clearly WOMAN or MTF Woman and on official documents shes refer to me she always calls me Mr. When I get a email from anyone other tham her im always refered tk as Ms. She is disrespectful and goes out of her way to deadname and invalidate transgender clientel

Staff is nice but they are unfortunately just trying to bill you and the insurance company unnecessarily. I went in for a check up and had blood work done and before they give you your test results they schedule a follow up so they can charge you again after the initial visit. This is completely unnecessary if your test results are normal and you’re healthy. You can access your test results from Quest Diagnostics. I will not be returning.

It’s very unfortunate that I must give this review.I was referred to Biscayne Med by a friend of mine. I was pleased with all the service of the office the first time I went for my physical. At the time I was still covered by my insurance. We went into a pandemic and quarantine. As of yet no one in this office called me, like any other Doctor’s do including my OBGYN after blood test come back. That is the norm, that’s why you paid the visit for physical to be done.I was told by office staff that in order to find out my results. I must book another visit with doctor to get the information. So if I am no longer insured. I must pay a regular visit. I find it unacceptable and irresponsible. That they want you to pay another visit so they can charge your insurance and client/patient pay another deductible.Office manager said, this is how we function.

The best way to be a patient at Biscayne Medical is to stay healthy, because if you get sick you encounter nothing but screw-ups and indifference.
