This is a scam of an operation, using any and every possible opportunity to take your money. they made my gf make multiple visits (more than necessary, so they can charge her more money). finally, she was prescribed an antibiotic, and advised that i would need to take it too. i called to set up a time, and was told i needed to pay $400 for a consultation as it is apparently protocol for a male to have a consultation with a gyno, for something they had already provided a consultation for. they are gatekeeping peoples health in the name of enriching themselves. we are going elsewhere. i recommend the same, unless you enjoy being taken advantage of

Dr. Pena is hands down the best doctor Ive ever been to. Ive been a patient for about three years. Shes courteous, professional, patient, kind and shes brilliant. She takes time explaining things with graphics and has even pulled up the research to further her point. The entire staff is warm and friendly and Ive never spent more than 15 minutes in the waiting room. Im very grateful to have found her.

I have been seeing Dr. Pena for more than 4 years now. She is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She is very professional and detailed, takes her time and explains everything very well. When I go to my appointment, I’m not kept waiting long. Dr. Pena values my time, and sees me on schedule...why? She doesn’t overbook like most other doctors do. Her office is also very clean and modern. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and professional.

Wonderful Doctor and Great Staff. There is always 2 sides to every story and I am that they reply to every positive and negative review. Dr Pena was always available and her staff was always friendly. I wish I could of stayed as a patient but she no longer takes insurance. If she ever does I will definitely go back!!!

Best gynecologist I’ve ever encountered! All the staff are super friendly and professional. And Dr Peña herself is wonderful, she truly goes waaay above and beyond to make sure that we get to the root of the problem and solve it. Rather than just manage symptoms and call it a day, as I’ve usually experienced with other doctors. I would 100% recommend her to anyone ( which I have certainly been doing to whoever listens). Even though she’s out of my network, there simply is no one else that will deliver the level of care she provides.

Dr. Pena is BY FAR THEE BEST doctor I have EVER seen. She provides comprehensive care and she takes the time to educate patients. When you think youve scheduled a routine GYN appointment you will receive exponentially more. I have never encountered rude receptionist at her clinic.

Dr. Christina Pena is by far one of the most knowledgable and professionally trained doctors I have come across. I came in as a new patient in December to get treated for an aggressive bacterial infection. Based on the type of bacterias found, this seemed to be a rare case. Dr. Pena had extensive knowledge on each type and their effects at a micro-level. Dr. Pena gave a biology lecture that made me understand fully what my condition was and the science behind it. Her staff is also wonderful. They have been nothing but accommodating throughout the entire treatment. They are also courteous and professional. I am very lucky to have found Dr. Pena for treatment. I would recommend her as an OBGYN to anyone looking to get the most professional service from a doctor. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Dr Peña for 10 years or so. I would not consider seeing anyone else. Dr. Pena’s has always made me feel comfortable and explains all procedures and/or information with me in terms I can understand. Her recommendations have always been spot on relating to my health and well being! I would highly recommend her to those looking for a doctor.

Dr Peña was an expensive mistake.I took my daughter to Dr. Peña because the holistic concept she has seemed good. I paid a lot of money out of pocket for her services and testing. I was assured the remainder would be billed to my insurance. I paid at least $5,000 out of pocket between Diagnostics testing and her “services” and my daughter got ZERO benefit from it.For the first meetings, the information was very rushed but good.a lot to process. Very little information was provided in writing. My daughter and I left doctor appointments satisfied but confused with action items and follow ups. I was expecting clarity with time.On the 3rd or 4th appointment over zoom we were both left waiting on hold for over an hour. The doctor never bothered to attend the meeting. Office staff excused her and expected to keep us waiting until we couldn’t any longer. Every appointment was an additional expense of approx. $200. My daughter who is an out of town, college student, didn’t have time to waste and she hadn’t made ANY progress. Dr. Peña never followed up and we stopped going.Almost a year later, today, I just received diagnostics bills from Quest for thousands of dollars that this doctor’s office didn’t bother to bill to my insurance. I was told they would. My insurance company knows nothing about it and I have to pay or my daughters credit will be ruined. Previous calls to Dr Peña’s office got me nowhere. I just paid another $2,939.30!!Maybe Dr Peña has a hard time managing her business, which I would sympathize with if there wasn’t palpable disregard for the people she is treating.

Dr. Peña was recommended to me by my primary physician being that the previous OBGYN had horrible beside manner and always saw me for two seconds and i never saw her again. She had her staff handling everything else. It was refreshing to finally go into a physicians office and actually be treated and cared for well. Their office is not only spotless white clean but also has a very calming ambiance. She is by far the best gynecologist i have ever been to. She explains everything in detail and is not bothered by as many questions as you may have. Amy, her NP is also very nice. I would recommend Dr. Peña to everyone. Natasha and all the girls at the front desk always greet with a smile and are always very pleasant and helpful.

By far, the best gynecologist I have ever visited. She explains to you in detail everything, takes her time, has an amazing customer service oriented staff. I have never felt so comfortable going to a doctor as I feel going to Dr. Pena. She is also up to date and knowledgable with current treatments available. Just an amazing individual overall!! she will be my gyno forever!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Peña for about 5 years. She continues to be an outstanding doctor and always takes the time to explain how things work, whether it’s your body or something going on inside of your body. I’m thrilled, personally, to see that the office doesn’t take insurance anymore and I wish other practitioners would do the same. I do not currently have insurance but if I did, I would still go to her even if my copayments were cheaper with insurance. Her staff are top notch- professional, friendly, and thorough. I would recommend Dr. Peña to anyone!

PLEASE READ BEFORE SEEING THIS PHYSICIAN. This physician will never ever speak with her patients regardless of the urgency. She will have one of her staff members return your call and they will read her response to you. So in essence if you have to question that response, they have to go back to her and ask her and then you have to wait another several days for her staff to respond with her response. They overcharge for everything, including faxing your records from doctor to doctor and at a very high price. Ridiculous in my opinion I guess shes money hungry. Sadly, her own staff complains about her and they are constantly changing staff members. That speaks for itself. Its actually noticeable how her staff members are afraid of her, but she hires very young employees which she can probably manipulate. Best decision was leaving her office and have found an excellent gynocologist who is the complete opposite. Very personable and welcoming staff with tons more professionalism and new gynocologist has much more experience than this disreputable doctor. Do your research before you see this individual.

I have been a patient of her for four years. I got tired, she is only there for the money. She gave me a prescription for an ultrasound but needed to wait a few days to do it. Since I left because I couldn’t afford it anymore, she took away the prescription of the ultrasound, which I paid $400 to do so. A doctor should care about the well-being of their patients not their money.

PLEASE READ BEFORE VISIT. BEWARE of this doctor.  This doctor only cares about money and because of it I had to be rushed to ER one morning.  On my first visit the doctor told me I couldn’t ask any questions or I would have to schedule another appointment.  This was an immediate RED FLAG!  She ran some tests as part of an annual visit (which the purpose of an annual visit and the testing was to see if everything was okay or there were any abnormalities to be addressed.   I had an issue I needed to discuss but she wouldn’t give me the time and sent me on my way and told me we can discuss it once she had my results.   I called back a week later to get my results and was told they don’t give results over the phone and I would have to schedule yet another visit.I explained I already had an appointment scheduled but they told me I would need an additional appointment.  This was simply so she can double dip and nickel and dime me.  This is not ethical and not what any doctor should be doing.  This is yet another major RED FLAG!  I was billed one visit for the testing and then she wanted to bill once again to give me the results!  I went back for the second visit and explained I was having a lot of pain and needed some medication and she told me that I would need an ultrasound first (yet another visit) and I once again had to wait with zero treatment.  I scheduled the THIRD appointment and went for the ultrasound.  I waited and didn’t receive a call so I called the office and the receptionist told me the doctor was out of town and I would need another appointment to get my results but had nothing available for four weeks!  I found this all incredibly upsetting and irresponsible on part of the doctor so I simply found another doctor (Dr. Melissa Acevedo in coral gables) which is amazing, responsible and not out to nickel and dime you and I highly recommend her!About three weeks passed and I had sudden extreme pain and had to go to the ER as it was so painful and scary.  After several tests and an ultrasound at the hospital I was told I had a cyst that could be malignant and would have to be tested.  It turned out to be malignant and the story is long and extremely painful which has brought me to file suit due to negligence on behalf of this doctor which almost cost me my life!  Dr. Christina Peña is after your wallet and has no regard for your health or well being. She is looking to enrich herself and will squeeze you for ever nickel she can grab. Please beware and find a real doctor who is caring and is in the medical profession to actually help her patients. This doctor is only looking to enrich herself at all cost. test results were requested from this terrible doctor (which they didn’t want to release) and on the results the large cyst was very clear and it was complete negligence on this doctor’s part.  After sharing my story with my new doctor she put me in touch with her personal attorney to file suit and now we are pursuing this due to negligence.  Please beware of this doctor and don’t put your life at risk.  Find someone else who will give you the care, time and dedication you deserve.  Call Dr. Melissa Acevedo if you want a true medical professional who cares and is devoted to her patients.  You will not be ripped off there!

Dr. Peña is great. She has the patience to explain you what you need to know, makes what is necessary to make you feel your best.Her staff is very professional.I love that they never make you wait at the reception or in a waiting room.

I have finally found a medical doctor, Dr Pena, that really understands what women need and go through with the menopause changes. She has an holistic approach and the bio-t treatment has been very effective to me.

If you aren’t a doctor that wants to help people and genuinely care I don’t think you should be in this profession it’s really sad. I have had y issue now 8 months now and still no cure. Terrible Place, they only care about your money, they charged my credit card more than 3 times and claimed they did not see the charge in there side. They also charged me for a total visit of $300 instead of only my copay of $25 under my insurance. If I wouldnt have call my insurance they would have stole that money right from my wallet. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Excellent medical service and excellent professional. The doctor explains everything in detail, she not only treats the symptom but treats the disease. There is never a long wait for appointments and whenever you call the office there is a willingness to help.I recommend Dr Peña and I think she is one of the best Gynecology in all of Miami.
