I recommend this office to every single woman I know. Been going for almost 10 years now and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I never would! The staff is just so pleasant and caring. Most recently my new insurance didn’t have my Rx covered at my pharmacy the MA somehow found a pharmacy I’ve never heard or knew existed that had my Rx covered for way way less and sorted it all out for me. Treatment and care you really couldn’t get anywhere else!

Dr. Starke is absolutely the best. She is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She takes her time to review all your concerns and give you the best treatment according to what research is showing to work. She is very up to date and a pleasure to be around!The entire team is excellent and the costumer service is incredible!

I really wanted to love this practice. Supposed to be one of best in Miami but unfortunately that was not my experience. This place needs a new office manager ASAP. The lack of care and consideration for patients have ultimately lead me to find another doctor. Every single appointment I have had (5) was rescheduled with little notice and I finally got in for an appointment only for them to tell me I would have to wait for over an hour because they have a new machine that they hadn’t learned how to use yet…with no prior notice. If you have all the time in the world and your schedule allows for constant changes, then this place is for you!

Dr Starke is thorough, respects your time. I have been her patient for over ten years, she is caring, takes her time and listens. I have and continue to recommend her highly. She is excellent!

She refused to let me talk to a doctor when I needed a prescription before a trip. She said I had to use the patient portal which I was not able to get access to. When I called back again Janet said she spoke with Dr. Starke and was told I had to wait till Dr. Yanes returned. I explained again that I needed a prescription before a trip and they refused to give me the medical attention I needed in a timely manner. I did not expect this from a women’s health facility.

Always a great experience when going to this medical office. The staff is pleasant and very effective and the doctors are both very knowledgeable and explain everything very well. The wait time is always great too. No long wait times to see the doctors.

Dr. Yanes is the BEST:). She is very easy to speak to, warm, and welcoming. This extended to the rest of the office staff; both the nurses and the office staff member were very kind as well. Great office!

Dr Starke and Dr Yanes run an amazing obygn office. It is easy to get all the information you need whether it’s about a medication or medical concerns. The visits are always smooth and efficient. I have had completely opposite experiences at other obgyn offices that the wait times are over an hour. Their team is also fantastic. I would highly recommend coming to them.

I have been a patient of Dr Starke for over 15yrs. She has also seen my daughter for a very large 10cm ovarian cysts that she surgically removed while saving her ovary.I am now menopausal and she has been excellent treating my horribly aggressive menopausal symptoms. Terrible first impression. I called and asked if they took new patients and was told We dont have openings until July. So I then asked if they would take new patients in July. She said, yes. So I then proceeded to ask to make an appointment. She said I cant make an appointment until April for July. It was like pulling teeth simply to make an appointment. Not a good first impression. So sad. I was excited to make an appointment, but now wonder about the office since I got the runaround simply for trying to make an appointment.

Dr Yáñez is exceptionally nice and polite. She’s a great addition to the team. I love her demeanor and kindness.

First visit was yesterday with Dr. Starke. If I can give this entire office 50 plus stars, believe me…I would. My first point of contact prior to my visit was with Norma and she was the sweetest. She made sure everything was set, paperwork filled out, and even was great at following up if I had any questions. I was immediately greeted in the front (can’t remember her name: but loved her energy). Everyone was GREAT. The nurse who did my intake, vitals and blood work was phenomenal as well (can’t remember her name, either). Then the best for last: my visit with Dr. Starke. I appreciated her so much. I’ve never had a doctor in the past truly sit down with me for a good amount of time and really explain in full detail what my treatment plan would be according to my concerns. She made sure I understood everything she was planning on doing from blood work and medication , asked if I needed her to explain everything again, and addressed all of my concerns. I came into the office with much anxiety because I haven’t been feeling great for a while. I left the office feeling so reassured and at peace knowing that I finally feel that I’m on the right path…SO THANK YOU Dr. Starke and the entire staff.

Dr. Yanes is amazing. She takes her time, with each and every visit. I never look forward to my yearly GYN appointments, but she’s gentle and quick. I love that she’s also a GP, so I get my physical done at the same time, and my blood drawn at the office. One stop shop.

Dr Starke is an amazing Doctor. She asks the right questions, listens carefully to answers and acts accordingly. She takes the time to explain every decision taken, medicines chosen and she has impeccable bed side manners. The office is spotless and the staff very kind and accommodating. I can only highly recommend Dr Starke and her entire office.

I scheduled a new patient appointment 3 months out, because thats all they had available. The initial phone conversation with Anabella at the office did not leave a good first impression because she was distracted and spoke like an uncaring robot. It was like she was trying to talk me out of making an appointment. After a long phone call answering numerous questions, I did pay a $75 fee to secure the appointment. Robot Anabella emailed me the medical paperwork, which would ordinarily be done in the office before the appointment. Apparently, this practice requires it within a few days of making the appointment, or the appointment is canceled. I am a busy person and prefer to do the paperwork in-person when I arrive, certainly not 3 months in advance. Well, since I didnt do it, they canceled my appointment. So that is the type of customer service you can expect from this practitioner. I guess its a bullet dodged, although it was a waste of my time. If theyre this bad to someone who was referred by a friend before you even make it into their office, imagine how they treat you once you get there.

If I could give 0 stars to this place I would. I’m quite sure they’re running insurance fraud/scam because I kid you not I have been having billing issues with them for MONTHS and each time is a new bill, they state it was labs they ran and they don’t even come itemized, they do not help you whatsoever and to be completely honest the attention you get from this place is NOT WORTH it. I’ve had better experiences in México visiting a gynecologist with an exhaustive and thorough check than in this place. AVOID!! I’m never going back and neither will my friends that also visited this office because they experienced similar situations with extra charges. Someone should audit this place and make sure they’re not doing insurance fraud.

Terrible experience with doctor and her staff. I went in to have certain ultrasounds done due to pain and was very worried. The results were sent to the doctor that same Thursday morning as confirmed by the hospital. I called Dr. Starkes office at 3:30 asking why I had not been called with the results and was told by the person who picked up the phone, who clearly did not want to be there, that the documents were probably on the doctors desk but she had left for the day. I expressed my worry and anxiousness and she said the doctor would likely call me in the morning. The next day, at almost 3 PM doctor had not yet called me. I go online to get the number and see that the office closes at 2 PM which means the staff and Dr. Starke were in, and did not even bother to review the results nor call me. I then called the office and got the answering service advising the office was closed. Due to the urgency, I pressed to speak to Dr. Starke who picked up the phone and was not only extremely rude and not caring, she blamed the hospital for lying to me. I advised her i was going to call the hospital and sure enough they had not only sent it to her but i logged into the portal and saw the date and time it was sent which was at 9:30 AM on Thursday. So she had the results for two days and was still asking me to call back on Monday because at 3 PM the office was closed. Not a care in the world about her patient or my results forcing me to worry all weekend. Dr. Starke does not seem to care about her patients. Her staff doesnt seem to like working there either or helping the callers out. Very bad experience and would not recommend.

Dr. Starke’s knowledge and care is exceptional. She is a stand out in her profession. I have been doing bio-identical hormones for five years and I have treated with two other physicians. My previous pellet insertion experiences were very uncomfortable and I just thought this was normal. I used to dread my quarterly insertion appointments. Dr Starke is so gentle and I now have very minimal discomfort and barely any downtime from activities. Furthermore, Dr. Starke is an expert in hormonal treatment. She is knowledgeable on the latest medical studies and journal reports which she shares with her patients. Her professional manner is that of getting to know her patient well by asking questions. She does so with patience and kindness. The support staff in this office also mirror the same level of kindness and commitment to the patient. I now look forward to my quarterly appointments.

Ive only been to my first visit but I can say this has been by far the best experience I have ever had with a doctor and their staff. Everyone I dealt with in her office was so professional, responded quickly to all my questions and sent me the paperwork I needed to fill out in advance via email so I could do it at my own pace and with all the information I needed more easily accessible. When I arrived at the office I never even sat in the waiting room as I was quickly taken inside. Dr. Starke herself is fantastic. Shes straight-forward, knowledgable, truly listens and put together a cohesive and easy to understand plan of action for my treatment. Without a doubt, this is the first gynecologist that actually gets what I am dealing with medically. She asked me such poignant questions that proved to me she has a stronger grasp of my condition than any other doctor I have seen about it in over 30 years. I am very happy to have found her!

My first visit to Dr. Starkes office was a pleasant experience from the moment I arrived, to the moment I left. The team was very nice and courteous. Dr. Starke took all the time necessary to find the best route of treatment for me and to answer all my questions . I am very appreciative of her guidance.

Within the last 8 months I relocated from NYC down to South FL. One of my biggest regrets having to leave NYC was leaving behind my world class physicians. However, from the very moment that I scheduled an appointment-- I have only received 5 star treatment and accommodations from Dr. Starkes staff. Surprisingly, I was able to quickly secure an appointment and was seen the very next day. I had to pay a $75 refundable appointment fee which was unusual, but understandable. I also had to pay a $31 convenience fee for having blood drawn in her office, but because I was so happy with the service that I received; how clean the office was; and how quickly I was seen (my visit was done within my lunch time)- I honestly didnt mind. I will definitely return for my future follow-up appointments and just wished that her office also accommodated obstetrics, too, because I am preparing to get pregnant; hence, the importance of my visit with Dr. Starkes practice. I also originally planned to see Dr. Starke, but her next available appointment was a month a way, so I saw Dr. Yanes and I was happy with her care. If you live or work in or around the Gables-- I do recommend this practice.

I just got off the phone with a staff member who handles the conversation on the phone and she was incredibly rude to me. I am a new patient struggling with finding financial support right now and am also in pain physically and she was very mean and demeaning and did not care about my situation at all.This staff member should not speak to new patients this way. I will not be using this doctor due to this team member which is very unfortunate.I was simply waiting to get my insurance provided by my new employer.Please make sure your team staffed to answer the phone is comforting and respectful to new patients, especially for a gynecologist office.This was disgusting and disrespectful. I’ve never seen anything like this.

I’ve known Dr Michelle Starke for 15 years. She is a competent physician, is caring, and friendly. When she was still delivering babies I was her patient and my child was delivered by her. It was a challenging birth but she handled it beautifully. These days I trust her with my gynecological needs. She keeps up with medical innovations and provides options for her patients. I highly recommend Dr Starke!

Dr Starke is simply what i was looking for when it comes to womens care . Her staff is very pleasant and well mannered. She is thorough and will ask all the questions she needs to help get to the root of the cause. She’s also right to the point. I have recommended her a few times and everyone seems to very thankful.

I was about 15 minutes late and so the doctor was super rushed. I understand there are other patients so I offered to wait since I was a bit late. She said not necessary. The Doctor spent all of maybe 15 minutes with me maybe less maybe a bit more. It was all very rushed. I went for a HRT consult & honestly didn’t leave very confident with treatment plan. Again I know I was late but I still didn’t feel very comfortable. I’m hoping on follow up visit things will be much smoother im sure. I’ll be early to visit just yo be sure.

For more than 20 years Dr. Starke has been my doctor. I was very fortunate to have her in my medical insurance all these years. I won’t want to see any other doctor. The staff here is not only rude they are incompetent. I showed them the call and the email confirmation no one was professional enough to admit their error. In all my years visiting doctors from Lenox Hill in NYC to Mount Sinai and Cleveland Clinic never have I seen such a mess. Felt like being at a 2-star restaurant where the hosts are high school dropouts. Needless to say, do not bother coming here.Unprofessional

Dr. Starke is the equivalent of a D color diamond in the medical field. I’ve been her patient for over 4 years now. She is not only my gynecologist but she monitors my hormone levels, thyroid levels, but all levels that women go through during pre-menopause, menopause and post menopausal changes. She had me do a cortisol level study that found some deficiencies. After treating me for that deficiency, I started feeling better within weeks. She takes her time with each patient and finds immediate solutions. I highly recommend her to every woman out there. You will be happy to have such a well qualified physician taking care of you. I give her an 11 on a scale from 1 to 10. Excellent doctor.

Dr. Starke is the worst Gynecologist Ive ever been to. She has no emotions. As a gynecologist you need to have a warm and caring personality not just stick a tool up someones lady parts. I normally do not write reviews but did not feel right if I did not create awareness.

I started going to Dr. Starke sometime in 2009. She is a great doctor and her staff was so helpful and friendly. When I went back to see her in 2013/2014, I realized she was now working with a nurse practitioner. I made an appointment to see her since Dr. Starke did not have an available appointment. The nurse practitioner was very friendly and was nice. However, since the nurse joined the team, the volume of patients has grown. In order to get in contact with the office, you need to call several time because you get their out of the office voicemail. It is very frustrating having to redial in order to make an appointment or ask a question. I have decided to go to another gyno because I did not like the service I received from the staff and front desk the last couple times I have visited and/or called. It is such a shame because I truely liked Dr. Starke. I hope this changes for the benefit of her business and reputation...........

Dr. Starke and the medical staff are all very nice and professional. The office is pleasant as well. But my experience was completely ruined by the billing staff. I’ve had the same procedure 4-5 times and each time the price they give me fluctuates multiple times within the same visit. They refuse to simply bill my two insurance plans opting instead to get money from me upfront. Worst of all, the billing troll they keep in the back is the rudest person I’ve ever encountered at a doctor’s office. The other staff was apologizing for her rude behavior but my issue is that they even allow a person like that to work for them when they see the way she treats patients. I go to the doctor for medical care, not to be talked down to by medical billing & coding hoodrats. Will be switching doctors.

Very disappointing!! I will end up paying for nothing. I went for a check up and the Dr.s assistant decided I didnt need one and I asked some questions that she said wasnt prepared to answer well and gave me a referral for another doctor. At the end they charged my insurance for a consult, which my insurance doesnt cover. I called to ask them to charge as a check up because that was the reason for my visit, but they refused to change the billing stating that it was my fault for going for a check up too soon. Even though the papers I completed when I got to the office clearly stated the date of my last check up. Why didnt they tell me before going for the consult??? So the Dr.s assistant decides not to check me up and I end up paying for a consult where the only thing I got was a referral to another doctor. Very unprofessional and very shady!!

From the moment you call to the time spent with Dr. Starke, you feel you are cared for in a genuinely professional manner. Although this was my first visit, I can already sense that I am in the right hands to help me with my hormonal imbalance.

Horrible visit!!!!!! Please if you are a new pt dont go get your annual check up here!!!! They not only charge the insurance company for your annual visit but they double charge the visit as if they did an additional visit with the doctor! In other words they charge the insurance the annual visit which most insurance its a free visit but then on top of that they charge as if you were seeing the doctor so that you have to pay a copay out of pocket. Which by the way you dont even get to see Doctor Michelle Starke! You end up seeing a nurse practioner instead!!!! The girl at the front desk is the rudest person Ive dealt with and this was on my first visit! I dont recommend this place to anyone please go any where else! If they treat you in this manner on the first visit I cant image how I would be treated if I were a regular customer. This place doesnt even deserve one star!

My best friend went here for what turned out to be a mild case of a bacterial infection. The Dr.s at this place told her without seeing her results that they were 90% sure she had a serious type of herpes, then they ran her tests and told her 7 days of torture later, that all her results were actually negative. So $500 later and a week full of distress she finally went to the ER where the doctor there said he couldnt believe they would mistake what she had for herpes because it looked nothing like that. Please dont send anyone you love to these doctors.
