Dr. Tinoco is wonderful. She is thorough and knowledgeable, takes her time and listens. I have been to many doctors over the years, and can say she is truly a special. I feel confident that she is committed to my care and best interest. Her staff was nice as well, and the office is immaculate. So happy to have found her.

I’ve waited my whole pregnancy to leave this review. Doctor Lorena Tinoco is the best gynecologist/obstetrician you can ever find. She is extremely knowledgeable and very supportive. I felt very comfortable going through my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum with her. I was preparing for a natural birth, but ended up with an emergency C-section. Dr. Tinoco came to the hospital on a Sunday morning to deliver my baby. I was very scared for my baby’s life, but the moment I saw Dr. Tinoco I felt a huge sense of relief knowing that I was in good hands. The C-section was done quick and very professionally, my baby boy was delivered safe and healthy. I cannot recommend Dr. Tinoco enough. Will be forever grateful to her!

As a physician (and a patient of her) I can tell you Dr Tinoco is simply the best ObGyn in the country! Her knowledge is impecable, she has amazing bedside manners. I chose to see Dr Tinoco based on the positive reviews and great rating. I was expecting to find a professional, compassionate, listening doctor to help me figure out some health issues. My experience was very disappointing.Ill start with the positives:The office is conveniently located, clean and inviting. Easy parking. The lady at the front desk is nice. Scheduling an appointment over the phone was easy, they had a lot of availability and take most health insurances.Now the not so good:I waited 2+ hours past my appointment time (for which I arrived on time) to be seen by the Dr. According the the front desk lady, they were short staffed that day. Things happen. I saw the Dr for 5min. She was rushed (understandably), dismissive of all my concerns, seemed annoyed at my questions, made a few inappropriate comments (about breastfeeding and my health insurance situation) and was just generally judgy and unhelpful. Based on that interaction, I decided to leave (after she left the room and as I was waiting for the nurse to come back) and on my way out, I did let her know that I felt this was not a good fit for me and that I would find a different provider. Her reaction to that comment confirmed my first impression: rude! I wasted 2+ hours of my time. Based on my experience alone, I do not recommend that provider. That being said, because there are so many nice reviews, it might just have been a bad day and just not a good fit.

Appointments are on time. The Doctor is nice and friendly, she takes her time to explain results and diagnostics. She is very sharp. Nice and professional staff.

I went to Dr. Tinoco’s office last month and was scheduled to be seen by Dr. Gonzalez. I waited nearly 1 hour to be seen (even though I arrived 30 minutes early) to fill out paperwork.I cancelled my follow up appointment more than 2 days in advance and checked my credit card statement to find they have charged me a $35 fee for an appointment I cancelled. I called the office, but now no one will answer the phone. Very unprofessional, I would not recommend this office.

I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Tinoco’s gynecology office. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient, making scheduling appointments a breeze.

I went to her because I got pregnant with my first child. As you can imagine, there are a lot of questions and doubts during this first months and dc Lorena was not supportive. She was always on a hurry, she never took the time to really discuss things or ask me how I was doing. I felt like I was a number more on her list, not a patient. Also, every time I went I had to wait for 1-2 hours before seeing her. Every time I went there I went out with a sad feeling. Not feeling calm and relaxed and what you want from your obgyn is the exact opposite.In the good side she did make me do very thorough exams to evaluate my baby’s health but I would not recommend her to someone who wants a more personalized experience with more time and attention

Today had appointment at 11:30am. I was told that they had two people ahead of me. 12pm came I asked if they new eta front desk said not sure . Then she called me back to tell me about a balance due for procedure . I told her that depending on ultrasound discussion is needed before I can agree to procedure. It’s in bad taste to charge for anything before services are rendered . After 12:30 pm came asked again how much time. As well as asking her if doctor is busy I could reschedule. She said would ask nurse. Front desk never confirmed had me waiting. My husband went front desk because I was frustrated already. Told them we have other appointments and if we can just reschedule. That was close to 1pm. Left found another ob will get second opinion. Doctor has a demeanor of telling patient what she will do rather then explaining and giving option to patient for approval. There’s is rapid explanation in this office doctor acts like a business women without good side manners for patients . I worked in the healthcare for years very 30 years and know that there are many choices if you have the resources which I do.

I didn’t like my experience with Dr.Tinoco or her staff. I went to her after having a horrid experience with the doctor that delivered my baby and wanted a proper check up. Her facial expressions and her impatience were very off putting. Front desk came off as if they didn’t want to be there. THIS IS A DOCTORS OFFICE SPECIALIZING IN WOMEN AND PREGNANT WOMEN. Therefore, we should be there for each other, especially at such a vulnerable time in our lives. I got my labs done (no urine analysis- which is odd) and barely got my results explained to me. Also, my room had someone else’s urine sample in it and they were going to consider that as my results until I called them and warned them and they advised that they were going to remove it from my chart. I’m glad I’m more attentive than they are. I learned that nowadays, doctors are more concerned with $ than they are about patients. I called to schedule another appointment only to get on antidepressants because PPA hit me like a ton of bricks and the front desk staff said no. As a new mom, I’ve become more aware of things and I feel like the healthcare system is failing us. I’m sincerely saddened.

Dr. Tinoco is very professional and thorough. I was very grateful she made time to see me on the same day I had an emergency, even though I was a new patient. I received all the details of the condition I am having, and of course, I was able to start treatment right away. She is very gentle, empathetic, and makes you feel comfortable. The most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever seen! I have depression and I wrote it on my history and when I saw her during the consultation she asked “why do you have depression? that left me speechless and questioning myself about why do I have it. Also she sent me some medicine that when I started to take it the side effects where strong and when I called to her office to talk to her about it the front desk took my message and someone called my back the next day saying that doctor say that you have to make an appointment to discuss those side effects, REALLY??? Needless to say I never went back there.

The best OBGYN in Miami! Finding any provider is easy, but finding one like her is not as easy! She is smart, caring, experienced and is always available to listen to any and every question or concern. Make an appt, you won’t be disappointed!

Dr. Tinoco rushed my appointment, did not clearly answer my questions or take the time to explain the prescriptions. This has happened several times and after multiple hour waits, she does not spend more than 5 minutes with me.

Does not accept new patients, and does not accept any insurance.I am very disappointed, I wanted to make an appointment with a Venezuelan doctor, and it was impossible to get an appointment.I do not recommend her if you need to visit a doctor.

I definitely recommend Dr. Tinoco. Very professional and friendly office, however, I had to wait 1.5 hr to be attended (after my scheduled appointment time) and then an additional 2 hours to see the doctor.

I saw this doctor in the emergency room after having a CT scan that showed multiple cysts, episodic ischemia and an enlarged ovary. After all issues were dealt with and I was awaiting discharge papers, this doctor came in. She spent about 3 minutes with me and in that time she told me that I was just under stress. This verbal disregard of my experience left me visibly upset (this is not a stress induced thing, that is unprofessional to say). At this point she demanded that my chaperone leave, and I had to firmly tell her 3 times that I WANT MY CHAPERONE TO STAY.To recount: she disregarded my pain, disregarded my test results and then tried to make my chaperone leave three times despite my protests.This is not the 1800s. We shouldnt be diagnosing women with hysteria anymore.

Dr. Tinoco appears as a doctor who accepts Madicaid, but that is not the case. When I called the office, they notified me that this is wrong, that they do not accept Madicaid, so they should remove Dr. Tinoco from the list of Medicaid doctors.

Dr. Marotta saw me from 28 weeks pregnant, I was seeing other OBGYNs and I brought her all the documentation. They were super friendly from the beginning. The receptionist is very professional. I arrived at week 41 of gestation and went to the hospital where the dras serve. and they induced me, they were very attentive, I started the labor with Dr. Marotta and I finished it with Dr. Tinoco, which of the two was my favorite, I dont know... because they are both out of the league. The star goes to the front staff, she as a professional, terrible, leaves a lot to be desired. My first pregnancy, obviously I have a lot of doubts or fears and I never had time to ask anything, zero tact, zero containment, zero everything, I went into the office just to show my face because to clear up doubts or reassure a negative first-time mother. I do not recommend it at all, I would never return. I am surprised that so many years of study have not helped her to be more human or to provide better customer service.
