I am so grateful to have found Essence for Wellness to guide me in my journey to improve my health! Ive been a patient of Essence for Wellness since the beginning of 2024, and after undergoing testing there, I discovered I was deficient in several key vitamins. With Ed and Luzias counseling, I was able to reverse my deficiencies in most areas. I went from feeling constantly tired, to having abundant energy, and now getting through my day without needing two to three cups of coffee. Im confident that by following Ed and Luzias guidance on maintaining a healthy, clean diet, staying on top of my vitamins, and practicing mindfulness and gratitude, I will achieve optimal health. I am so happy I made the decision to start learning about functional medicine from Ed Costa at Essence for Wellness and am so impressed with this establishment. I started here getting IV therapy treatments which give me significantly more energy, focus, and the feeling of rejuvenation for over a week. After listening more about this type of medicine from Ed, I am very excited to start the full metabolic panel that they offer and really focus on my overall health. I had multiple IV treatments done at Essence for Wellness during the period that I was going through chemotherapy for breast cancer and I cant say enough about how it helped me, not only with overall feeling but also with maintaining my blood levels where they needed to be. The atmosphere at Essence is wonderful and both Ed and Luzia were delightful to deal with. The treatment was definitely a plus during a very difficult time for me and Im extremely happy on how it helped me.

I am extremely glad I got to work with Essence for Wellness. Luzia, my health coach was the best! She was very knowledgeable and supportive, she had valuable feedback that help me overcome bad habits. Before working with her, I was trying to eat clean and thought I was doing good, however my cholesterol was high, and I had crazy sugar cravings. I honestly considered joining an addiction group to help me overcome my sugar cravings. Luzia taught me what to eat and what not to eat, and helped me overcome my sugar cravings in just a couple days. A month later, I still have no desire to eat a candy bar. WOW!!!! Exactly! This is the only word/expression that I can think of when I think about my 90 Day Total Transformation Discovery Program and 14-Day Detox. What a program!!!!I was a little skeptical beforehand; I was sort of postponing my Day 1, but Luzia is phenomenal, and she conducts the process with such professionalism and positivity that, after the first session, you think: “Ok, what was I afraid of? Since I moved to Indiana, I have only been seen traditional medicine doctors who offered me no solutions to my problems. The medications I have been given instead of making me feel better, damaged some organs in my body. These medications were poisoning me instead of curing me.
