NextCare Urgent Care Tucson

I was the only person there when I arrived but it still took an hour. Young lady at the front was kind and welcoming, loved her nails. The guy that called me to the back didnt look like he wanted to be there, smelled like weed and didnt even bother to introduce himself. Cologne doesnt mask weed young man. The Dr was kind, asked relevant questions but was a little on the quiet side. Decent service.

I have never felt so put down and a bother in my life to this doctor at this location- Alicia. I walked out crying without even getting my paperwork because how condescending and mean she was to me. People come here in pain to ask for help. I have to pay $20 an hour to have a nanny to even go get help at an urgent care. This is not how I want to spend my day either but I’m terrified of this pain in my head and couldn’t at the very least get even sympathy or compassion. I was give attitude and being snapped at for no reason. No one deserves to be treated like this. She should be stripped of her title. I’ll be looking into a medical attorney and speaking to whoever I need to about this. This was incredibly an awful experience and I hope people reconsider going to see this doctor Alicia.

Unfortunately, my daughter came down with a fever during the time we were moving her into the dorm.This facility was quick and very helpful. Jasmine and Carmin at the front desk provided exceptional customer service beyond just checking us in.

The staff at the NextCare Urgent Care - Tucson (N Park Avenue) greeted me and took care of my medical needs with politeness, privacy and professionalism (the three Ps that i look for when seeking medical treatment).The doctor that took care of my case listened to me well when discussing my medical issue, and she had the best bedside manner that I have had experienced in quite some time. Questions were asked that led to a proper diagnosis, and then, I provided requested lab sample that confirmed what the doctors diagnosis, I was well pleased that the underlying cause of my symptoms was addressed and taken care of.To anyone seeking medical treatment in the area of this NextCare office, I greatly urge you to seek medical attention at this medical facility.Much kudos to the staff and doctors that treated me with respect and dignity.

Daughter needed a physical for sports. We were able to schedule on app and get appointment next day for time we needed. Staff were all friendly, nurse practioner was very thorough on everything and answered questions we had. First time visiting this office, will book again when we needed.

Although the wait time in the room took a bit longer than usual, the time waiting in the lobby was super quick. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful...the office lobby and exam rooms were clean, the quality of care was outstanding and FNP Crouch went above and beyond to hear me out, care for my needs, and throughly check my medical symptoms. Keep up the fantastic work and thank you so much for your help!

Everything thing was great except for the Covid diagnosis! I really really love the NP I saw.. she was Awesome. I will go back there... they are so close to my house and I hope the NP stays a while. SHAANON and the staff was friendly and I was the first one so no waiting!!

Both the nurse and doctor are phenomenal, I came in right at open, used an app to register, which was very fast. And I was in and out between I would say 1/2 an hour.I ended up cutting my finger pretty badly and should’ve got stitches sooner. They took care of me and bandaged me up. I would highly recommend and my follow up is in two. Also great communication with my pharmacist and was able to pick up medication right away.

Best care I’ve gotten from an urgent care. Both nurse and PCP were incredibly attentive and supportive. Only issue I had was with front desk. I was immediately told my copay was $75 before my insurance card was even looked at, and my copay at urgent care is always $25. I corrected her and she only charged me $25 but she did the same thing with the next patient. Be sure to check your insurance cards and your copay, it seems like they might be trying to get you to pay more.

The whole staff took very good care of me I will recommend this location to everyone thank you so much.Getting this little guy out of my ear.

They took a long time to get me I had made appointment when I got there only 2peiple ahead of me. Got taken to room and didn’t get seen for an hour and a half. But other then that the staff was very nice!

Had some stiffness in my back this morning and was able to schedule a appointment fast! The staff was very nice with advice with stretching and medications. Thanks alot for the care!

All the staff were professional and helpful. The provider did not waste time, she listened well and did not rush to conclusions. She encouraged further exploration of my condition with a specialist.

My Daughter had a allergic reaction and was cared for by the MA and DR. They were so kind and caring. I would return to the park location next to the U Of A

Despite taking the earliest possible appointment, I didn’t see the practitioner for nearly 30 minutes. I needed an X-ray but they didn’t have anyone to do it. Lack of communication and friendliness.

I’m always in a bad mood when I go to urgent care because nobody likes to be sick but the NextCare by UA was so nice! Melba at the front desk was very bubbly and the provider Gina was really sweet and helpful. I hope they have a great Saint Patrick’s day!

Scheduling ahead of time, being able to do paperwork and even check in online when I get there is great when youre mute and have social anxiety. Staff were kind and havent treated me any different since I became mute vs before when I used to speak. Theyre also good about giving me a 2nd opinion when Im unsure what to do because my PCP seemed to ignore my issue so now I feel more confident in communicating with my PCP again and was glad to have treatment and advice on what Ill need if its not enough :) My only issue was being given exercises involving an exercise ball, which I dont have but otherwise great 😃👍

I saw doctor Annabelle yesterday and she was very kind and patient and very caring.! I recommend this NextCare Urgent Care to my family and friends.

The NP on duty was really lovely. Great bedside manner. However the nurse looked like his best friend ate his dog!!! Rude, mumbling, no personality. I’m sure he was having a bad day. Honestly I’ve never seen a healthcare worker so disinterested in their work. And it was a pretty slow day. Overall, my issue was solved thanks to the NP. That nurse probably needs to take a vacation though.

Honestly the BEST Urgent Care experience I’ve ever had. I don’t usually like to use urgent cares because the ones I’ve been to in the past have always been so bad. With things like being rude and rushed. Everyone here was so nice, polite and SO helpful. It truly felt like they cared.

I scheduled an appointment, showed up 15 minutes early, and proceeded to wait for 1.5 hours before being seen by a provider. I also went in to rule out a possible concussion, and the provider did not even think to perform a concussion test until I asked about one.

Heard about this clinic specifically from family. it is very convenient to book an appointment online. the staff was nice and helpful with my concerns.

The nurse practitioner was fabulous. She was professional, thorough, kind, and sensitive to the needs of an elderly patient.

Extremely bad patent service. Went here twice to get the same wound checked but was not treated properly. The nurses were also not helpful. Do not recommend this branch.

Fast service:Pros: Nice location with fast service. The wait wasnt to long despite several patients being ahead of us.Cons: You will have to complete a whole new registration form. Even if youve been seen at this facility or any other location before.

If NextCare is not your only choice, go find another place. These shameless, greedy, unprofessional people charged me $120 for a two-minute call, which they defined as a “full virtual visit” and called a confirmation of my biographical information as an “assessment”. All I did was to ask for a refill.I’ve been contacting them one hour after I received the bill (two hours after the call) but was always put on hold, and my cancellation and refund request was rejected because during the waiting time (an entire day, at least 5 hours of putting me on hold), the refill was already completed (sent to the pharmacy) and hence the service was complete. Such a clever trick.Update: I’m really shocked by how shameless they are, who keep finding excuses following their unreasonable rejection. 1) Said that “you must have picked up the medicine so no cancellation or refund”; I replied “no I haven’t and you can call the pharmacy to confirm that”. 2) Said that “you must have been seen by the nurse first then seen by the doctor, so that’s the service”; I replied “there’s only an online form, three-min wait, and two-min call”. 3) Said “the doctor has provided you with professional service and granted you refill, it doesn’t matter if you pick it up or not, so no refund”; I replied “you call confirming my name, date of birth, address, allergies, and pharmacy address professional service??”. Then they just insisted that I’ve been seen by a doctor anyway so no refund and wouldn’t connect me to anyone.Also, I got 4 promises of “call you back soon” and 2 of them would be “before the end of day”. It’s been 3 days and I only received one short notification for rejection.

Doctor was great! Had an infected paper cut that he had to remove a callus. Used a scalpel and did a great job cleaning it out! Real thorough and friendly. It’s finally healing! The last photo shows improvement just after two days.

Super easy virtual check-in process, nice and helpful staff and practitioners, clean facility, easy parking (for being so close to Uni). Theyre literally the best urgent care Ive ever been to. Definitely recommend!

Fast, yet excellent care, kind and patient. Everyone was helpful. Doctor (Kim) was patient, explained tests and asked questions that were pertinent and helpful to my care. Wish she were my GP.

This clinic was very clean and well staffed. Went in on a Saturday afternoon and was in and out in about 30 minutes. Dr. Aaron Newton gave me so much information and the time to answer all my questions about my reason for visit. He prescribed me with proper medication and was very friendly. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone requiring medical services.

This location does not have xray machine and the front desk will not tell you, even though the website says xray is available. They even have signage inside advertising xrays. Very nice staff and care provider, I was seen promptly at my appointment time.

So slow and more focused on closing then helping me. I was throwing up bile and water and having hot and cold flashes. Just gave me a covid test and said i have the flu and that i can leave now.

Doctor was great. Nurse was great. The wait was long even with an appt but everything else was ok.

There is no X-ray or any other equipment. I do not think that this Urgent Care can diagnose any injury or disease.

If I could give zero stars I would. NextCare booked my appointment the night before. I confirmed my appointment in the morning and when I arrived the doors were still locked, no one in site. After standing there for about 5 minutes someone emerged from a vehicle in the parking lot who looked like they worked there and states that they were closed and that they don’t have enough staff. Absolutely unacceptable. Why bother having me fill out information and book and appointment when you know you don’t have staff to even open the doors to your business. As I walked away dejected a woman pulled up asking if they were open and I said no to which she replied that was the third location she had been to that is not open. Accountability is not in NextCare’s mission, neither is communication.

I came in with shoulder pain that I’ve had for about a month. I was at the clinic for over 2 hours and only saw the NP for about 10 minutes. I left with her saying that she wasn’t sure and come back if it doesn’t go away soon.

The doctor was incredibly competent w/ my difficult eye situation. Great bedside manner. Warm & friendly. Wish she was my primary care doctor! Staff was very Prifessional. Everything was online. Fast service, faster than other urgent care facilities nearby. Gladly recommend this facility.

Front desk staff were courteous and exceptionally helpful as they helped register me through their patient portal. The wait time was phenomenal. The triage MA and RNP Simpson were thorough, precise, and provided great bedside manner- they listened and showed empathy. The front lobby was exceptionally clean.

It was prompt and really tried and did help with the right procedures and meds to get better

Fast and efficient. Gina was excellent with my 11yo daughter. Front staff also very personable, not annoyed when I had to change my pharmacy at the last min because of Sunday hours.

Trash was over flowing and they sent my sons prescription with my last name instead of his. But did the job..

I loved this nextcare location. Scheduling, check-in, staff and care was 100%.

Nurse practitioner was kind and helpful, lobby was clean and quiet.

Was initially told that the cost would be 240 but after I got seen they ended up telling me it was over 400 dollars! Even though I clearly stated to the nurse and the doctor that I wouldnt want anything extra if it was going to cost more. And the nurse told me the tests she did werent going to cost extra. Only to come and find out it did.

Check in woman insisted I had a copay even though she literally printed out a form where it said “copay: $0” but she claims that’s after the deductible is met (not true). She said it would be $80-140 for my “copay” but couldn’t show me where those numbers came from. I had to explain to her how my plan works, but was unsuccessful. Then she was rude and told me to “Google it” when I said I was uncomfortable being seen and asked where the next closest urgent care is. Will definitely be avoiding in the future.

I have never had a good experience with this clinic. It is clear to see they just want to get you out and will do anything to do it. Told my physician (not a doctor) symptoms I had and that I was worried about mono. She told me “they can’t test for mono for a few weeks.” I left with an antibiotic prescription I knew I did not need. The next day, I went to campus health where they clearly cared about me and did comprehensive testing. After a blood test, they let me know I had mono. I will never go back to this NextCare, and I recommend anyone thinking about it make an appointment with campus health instead. There is a clear lack of care and lack of knowledge at this location.

The staff were all very friendly and personable. The wait was very short, and the doctor was very helpful about follow up care.

It is currently 2am, and I have been awakened by intense pain in my right hand, which resulted from a biking incident I experienced recently. A week ago, I visited two different locations to undergo an X-ray examination, and unfortunately, I am still awaiting the results. I’ve called multiple times and have been told to wait up to 7 days. 🤨The delay in receiving the results has made me question the quality of patient care in this situation.

Why have the option to make appointments and then make the patient wait over 2.5 hours to be seen. Horrible service. Wish I could give zero starsIn response: we did call the customer service number and the person was very nice. She patched us through to the Park Ave location. They lied to the customer service rep and said my daughter was being seen by the provider. She had been waiting since 2:30pm. She had an appointment for 2:40pm. She was not feeling well and light headed. Cora Lee was very rude when I talked to her and had no empathy for what my daughter was going through. I told my daughter to leave (at 5 pm) since this location does not honor appointment times.

Wait times are insane. I showed up on a Sunday night at 6:15, there were only two other patients. Ended up waiting for over an hour for the nurse practitioner to see me for a total of

Closed with a sign on the door- but appears open online and on insurance directory- misinformation and really unfortunate- my sick child also didn’t appreciate this-

They did an amazing job of not taking my insurance info for billing the VA who completely covers an urgent care visit and instead billed me twice in full for the same appt. and refused to work with the VA. I was told that they would be reaching out to the VA to resolve that. I recently got a call from a debt collections center over the bills that they never resolved. I will never go to any of these locations again.

No wait time, Dr Alivia was very compassionate and thorough. She answered every question and concerns of mine. She also gave me prescription but pre-treated me with their stock for some of my symptoms. Tech did make one mistake, she sent my prescriptions to another store after I asked if she had sent them to the right place she said yes, but my husband went to pick them up and no they were not there. The hard discharge documents shows the address my prescriptions were sent to and that’s not what I requested. now I have to wait longer since it’s a busier pharmacy. That’s the only downfall everyone else did well.

Do not go here! I checked in at 5:10 pm for a strep test, and the front desk lady was not very welcoming. Already not a good start to my visit. Then the nurse takes me at 6:00 pm, takes my vitals, then does my test. She then makes me wait in the lobby, then asks me to step into a room to wait for the doctor. It took them 50 minutes since then to give me my result. Horribly understaffed and everyone chats with each other casually instead of helping other patients. Dr Dave is nice, but I’m still never coming back.

I had phenomenal care from this place. It was the second spot I went to for an awful injury and the care, kindness, and empathy I received were insanely valued. I felt listened to and my wait was very reasonable. Tbh I’m shocked how decent this Urgent Care is in comparison to some of the other big ones on the west side.

It took almost 3-1/2 hours to get a sports physical which required just a few minutes of the doctors time, and while we waited, many other patients were seen ahead of us. Here are the facts: we arrived at approximately 5:40pm. We scanned the QR code to initiate the paperwork process at 5:44pm according to the email sent by the Solv system. After sitting down for some time, we got a text asking us to complete additional paperwork, which we did promptly. Paperwork was done by about 6:10pm, according to the timestamp on the text.And then we waited, and waited and waited. Other people came in, saw the doctor, and left. At the 3 hour mark, I politely remarked that we had been there 3 hours for a simple 5-minute check. The attendant apologized and said that they had only one provider. Still polite, I remarked that other people had come and gone in the time we had waited. The attendant countered that we hadnt completed our paperwork before those other patients, but that is not really true. Our paperwork was done at 6:10pm and we werent done until about 9pm. From the time we had completed our paperwork and were seen, others came in, saw the doctor and left. None of these patients had anything serious - and of course some of them had their masks pulled down below their noses - not that that is relevant, just annoying.I dont want to make more of this than it deserves. If we had known we would be there 3 hours and 20 minutes for a 5 minute interaction with the doctor, we would have come back another day. When youre in the waiting room, the attendants know exactly how many doctors are hidden behind in the back and they could have told us it would take a long time, but they didnt.

Ive never had a bad experience with Next Care until today. I scheduled a appointment for my son physical. When I got there they told me it would be a hour and a half wait to be seen because they were busy. I thought that the purpose of the appointment was to avoid the long waits. This was the location on Park & 6th. Like I said I had never had a bad experience until today.

Checked online and said there was no wait. When I showed up I learned that it was because there was not a provider in the office that day so I had to drive 15 minutes to a different location. It would be nice if it actually said this on the website.

Everyone was friendly and listened to me carefully. I felt well taken care of. The woman at the reception desk was efficient and informative. Since I was a bit of pain and had difficulty walking because of an injured ankle- she got me into a wheel chair quickly.I highly recommend them for non life threatening medical treatment.

Alicia Simpson is one of the best nurses I’ve came to encounter she’s very empathetic towards patients has always been so helpful and the staff there are just amazing. I always take my kids to this location and each time I’ve left overly satisfied with there patient care. Kudos to the urgent care at the park location 🙏🏽

Cut my hand at around 4:30 on a Monday night. I needed stitches. I got checked in, cleaned up, then the doctor came in and evaluated things, then decided to stitch me up. Now I’ve had a lot of shots in my life, but never have I ever had a doctor so gentle. I was injected a few times, but I honestly could not keep track of how many, because the doctor was so incredibly gentle, at most it felt like I was being poked by the quill of a down feather. The stitches were done quickly and with the same amount of care. I was out all back together in about an hour total. Absolutely the best experience I’ve had at any urgent care provider. 10/10

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I called the central number on Google and scheduled an appointment, I spelled my name for them and they still managed to come up with the most mangled spelling of my name Ive ever seen, it wasnt even close. It was however, good for a laugh. Took 1star off only because I made an appointment and still had to wait past that time while a walk in was seen, then computers went down and everything had to be redone so it could be recorded on paper. Finally, Dr. had to write scripts and they had my misspelled name so I had to wait for them to be corrected. It all made my visit last 2 hours.

The lobby had a few people, but I was seen quickly. It was clean and had a nice layout. The nurse assistant (Im assuming?) was incredibly personable and courteous and made me feel like I was an actual patient instead of a bother. Super nice.Judith was my care provider and she was absolutely spectacular. Got me in and out quick but made sure all of my concerns and questions were addressed and that I was taken care of. They were all so kind there. Definitely making this my go to place if I need it again.

I really appreciate the great and prompt service I received. This is my favorite NextCare office. I am glad that you can make appointments via the web . It makes is so much easier when you are not feeling well. Staff and docs are always very helpful and efficient.

They saw me quickly. Wait was about 5 to 10 minutes. No wait on the NP, came in almost immediately after I went into an exam room. All done in less then 30 minutes. Highly recommend them!

Although I’m not a patient and I didn’t use the services here, I wanted to leave this review as a thank you to the lovely receptionist who very kindly helped me phone a taxi when I was stranded without internet as a very lost tourist! Thank you so much :)

I normally visit A different Nextcare, but this one was the only one with available “reservation times”. I waited 2 hours after my “reserved time” to be seen. I understand there are other people to be seen, but two hours is a long time. The practitioner that saw me walked in the room limping and coughing constantly, which made me very nervous. The practitioner continued to be rude throughout the whole 5 minutes I was in consultation and failed to listen to any of my concerns. It felt like I was being rushed thought a fast food drive through instead of being treated by a medical professional. At the end, with no lung xray or anything, she said I MIGHT have a lung infection and rushed me out of the urgent care. I left feeling more scared for my health than when I walked in. I do not recommend. Staff was friendly.

Urgent care at park and 6th are excelente, no waiting on line all workers always helping the patient, this is my second time going to this urgent care and the time being in the building takes from 30 to 40 minutes. Front desk person always helping with the paper work, Doctors and nurses doing excelente job. I highly recommend this place!!!🙏

Horrible horrible place. Very unprofessional, unpleasant and argumentative. Theyre unclear about their after visit instructions and do not provide proper paperwork. They took $30 of my money and refused to give a refund after not even rendering services and refused to read my TB results. What if I have TB now and dont know because of their negligence? Dont visit this place. Ever.

As usual the service was superb! The doctor was knowledgeable took his time and after his questions and establishing with my issues and concerns were. He address the problem with ease and speed unlike most urgent care centers. And the technicians are always amazing and beautiful by the way. Thank you guys so much I feel so much better which is the whole point right? I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in feeling well if they don’t wanna go sit around at a hospital for hours waiting to be seen

The doctor was very nice but I mentioned I am allergic to penicillin and she still ordered me amoxiciĺlin for my ear infection. Thankfully the pharmacist noticed. So I suffered another night of my ear hurting.

Have brought my kids here for when theyve gotten sick and weve had nothing but good experiences. Staff is nice including front desk and medical personnel. Also the fact you could schedule appts online is a really nice time saver.

Every staff member was pleasant and helpful. The NP listened and did everything possible to address my questions, concerns and explain the care we needed. The woman at the front helped me find the best way to pay with self pay. My experience was great.

The whole staff helped me right off the bat. I was in a lot of pain and while in the waiting room they were attentive to that. The whole staff was sweet and amazing today.

Ridiculously long experience 2 hours even with an appointment and being there 15 minutes early, 2 hours to get a bandage and some antibacterial goo.Staff is always very friendly though! Just plan on an afternoon if you need to go in there for anything.

I first went to another walk in clinic, but they had an over 4 hour wait. Id been running a very high fever for a couple days, and I knew I couldnt wait that long. We found this spot and they got me in immediately. Im not yet insured in AZ because I just moved here, so the front desk guy carefully explained my options. Once I handed in my paperwork I was called in right away to get my vitals and shown to the exam room. Absolutely everyone I encountered was incredibly kind and compassionate. They were very thorough and wasted no time running the needed tests right away so that I could get home and back to rest as soon as possible. Test results and treatment for me was explained, and I was told theyd be giving me a call in a couple days to check on me. As I was leaving and getting my prescription note at the front desk, he also alerted me to ask about a prescription help plan offered at Walgreens for people like me without health insurance. The facility was very clean and new looking. Would go back and would recommend.

I went to the clinic yesterday at noon time and I was in and out in one hour and completed a simple physical exam and X-ray exam. I was very happy with the service. When I was in Canada, I would never go to any clinic without 4 hours of free time on hand. I appreciated the service from the receptionist, to the provider and the X-ray technician and would like to award them a 5.

I just want to give a huge thanks to this office, i have had to come a few times and every time i am treated with courtesy. i was especially impressed when i came in panicked that i was having an allergic reaction. the staff was very kind and patient with me. thankfully i wasnt having a reaction and it was shingles, but no one treated me negatively for it. thank you very much for attending to my concerns with courtesy and respect.

I brought my daughter to El Rio 5 days ago, and they told me she was fine. Took my daughter here today and they told me she has strep and a uti. Awesome Job NextCare. You guys are amazing!

They go out there to make you feel better

Nothing Urgent about the Care here - I brought my wife in with some severe symptoms. She was put in an exam room. After one hour, her temperature was taken and then left alone, waiting for some care. The reception area was empty, so they werent exceptionally busy. After an hour and a half of waiting, we left with no one saying a word to us. Should have just gone to the ER.

Everyone was very kind even though they had several patients. The receptionist was five stars, very kind, very pleasant very professional.

Great experience! The wait was not that long based on how many people were sick in the lobby. The staff was super friendly and the Doctor made it clear what was wrong and what the next steps should be at home to have some son on the road to recovery! Great reason why I pick Nextcare for these situations.

I have been here at least a dozen times and I’ve never had a bad experience with employees or care. They are quick but thorough, friendly and the place is clean. I recommend coming here!

Not an option for no stars. This place says it makes appointments but I waited 40 minutes for my appointment while the staff laughed and giggled in the hall. When I asked the receptionist why they make appointments and dont keep them, she said it was a reservation. What does that mean? On the website it says appointment. This place is close to my house. Ill go elsewhere in the future. Actually, Ill have to. I got disgusted and left.

Everytime I need quick medical care and good service, I go to this urgent care. The staff is helpful and friendly, they make sure you’re taken care of, and they are fast about it! Check in online to make it go even faster. Today, I was in and out before my actual appointment time. Less than 10 minutes, got a diagnosis and a prescription. Now I’m on my way to feeling better.

Justin Decker has been phenomenal. He has addressed my issues holistically and dedicated time to answering my questions and ensuring that I feel comfortable and well taken care of. He has remembered me and my issues during follow ups, and I never feel rushed out of the office. I would love to have him as a primary care doctor if it was possible. I highly, highly recommend.

Service at this location is horrible. The main reason for my decision is because we scheduled an appointment and we did not get seen for two hours after the scheduled time! No one checked in to advise us what was going on or why it was taking so long so after an hour I went to ask why it was taking so long to be seen and Stephanie tried giving me excuses that were irrelevant to our situation. After they finally got to seeing us she asked a few questions and had us on our way, what could have been half an hour tops took over two hours! That type of service is unacceptable. Especially when an appointment is scheduled.

I came in with Sinus issues and a headache, the nurse told me the doctor would check my ears, and nose for an infection.Once I went in to see Dr. Silvia Schaeffer she berated me about my age, told me that Im too young to know what Im talking about, and then told me to read a homeopathic therapy book and to take 3000mg of Vitamin C and 40000mg of Vitamin D (of which the limit an adult should ever take in 24 hrs is 2000mg) and then told me to take Ibuprofen (acetaminophen), when the only thing I told them I was allergic to was Ibuprofen. She told me there was no such thing and called me a liar.If I listened to anything that doctor said it would literally make me hospitalized. Absolutely terrible doctor, who did nothing to help with my sinus infection. She actually continued to berate me until I cried and told me to leave. I immediately went to another Urgent Care, who did actually check me and found I had a Sinus Infection, and gave me actual medical advice, and told me not to listen to a single thing this doctor said.

My experience as a college student was excellent here. I was treated with respect and they took good care of me, as I was very sick and had a hard time talking due to swollen tonsils. They were quick with tests and results and prescribed me the proper medicine that seems to be working as I feel 50 times better than I did yesterday when I went in. Thanks Urgent Care!

I signed in at 6pm and 90 minutes later was called into an exam room. It was another hour before the provider came in and spoke to me. I was glad to find out it was nothing serious. Staff was professional and courteous.

Excellent staff from the Receptionist to the medical assistant to the Dr. All great teamwork and super fast. The receptionist even went out of her way and went outside to take me my paperwork! Amazing!!

The 4 women that helped me at the UA location were great. From the front administration to the PA, they were attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. Going to urgent care is never fun, but they made it much more pleasant.

I came to get a COVID test this afternoon. I did not have an appointment, I just did a walk-in. It took about an hour and a half, which I didn’t mind because it does say all over their website and when you call that there will be increased wait times. I loved the waitlist feature that they sent via text to track where you were in line and give you an idea of when they would call you to come back. I waited in my car until they called me and gave me instructions for entering the facility. The staff was friendly, quick, and professional.

On a Sunday afternoon at 4:10pm, I waited less than 5 minutes for intake, then waited less than ten minutes to be seen by PA Eric Stricklin. He was wonderful--he listened to my concerns and took the time to provide excellent treatment. This was by far the most pleasant visit I have had at any urgent care clinic.

I have been going to this Urgent Care for years whenever I have an after hours need. I have always felt listened to and helped. I receive great care for me and my family. I currently have to drive past several other urgent care centers to go to this one since Ive moved, but I know that the quality of service I will receive will be top notch. I would definitely recommend this center, even if they no longer have good tv in the waiting room :-).

They made me download a few apps, but thats the only thing that I had any problems with. Polite and helpful service, quicker than I expected, and I had my prescription the same day

I was able to make an appointment with a very friendly receptionist, the waiting room was clean and uncrowded and the nurse was friendly and efficient. They were able to analyze my problem within minutes at their own lab and I was released quickly after seeing the doctor.

Went in for a ear ache, the front desk girl had me wait in my car in 100 degree temp, while 2 people ahead of me went first, I reminded the rude front desk girl I was still sitting in my car waiting to be seen.. so I finally get a room in the back wen an elder older Dr. comes in the room where I was at (usually wit a friendly manner) but in this case I had a bad vibe- looks in my ears said I have fluid n there, then proceeded to tell me if u ever talk to my staff again like that.. I cut him off immediately & defended myself.. this office needs a whole new staff thats professional.. never again will these people get my money!! There rude & unprofessional.. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS Facility to any body!!!

I think youre experience here depends on when youre here. Ive had both positive and negative ones. Been seen right away by courteous and caring staff. Not today. Made a 2:00 appointment and wasnt even seen until 2:45. Staff isnt necessarily friendly but they just dont seem to care either. Im atill here waiting a half hour for a 15 minute flu and strep test. Up to you to try your luck.

Super prompt service and a very skilled nursing staff. Dealt with my fear of needles very thoughtfully. Doctor was thorough and referred me to a good OBGYN—I’m new to town and had been having trouble finding one.

Office is always very clean and properly staffed, active and prideful in ability to get patients in and out and give all meds/tests necessary . listening to the symptoms. Amazing service recommend this location.

NextCare Urgent care in Tucson is the best and so convenient. The Dr. was really nice, as well as the front desk person and the medical assistant. It was super quick and easy, I couldnt have asked for anything more. They are truly a life saver and a great alternative to the dang ER. Thanks for all the great care NextCare!

A bit shaky at first as there was no one greeting people at desk but in 5 minutes and a large hello someone came out. Then my daughter was seen for vitals and they did nose wipe for strep. Then got to wait for a bit for room. Test was neg then doc came in for checkup and eventually did a flu test cause of high pulse. Came back positive. Then got prescriptions sent to cvs. Took two hours but well worth our $50 copayment and the time.

I recently came down with Something a flu, a cold (from hell ) dont quite know until results return. I called around to be seen and after a very frustrating couple of hours I Finally came in contact with NextCare on Park and 6th St. ( Just outside UofA campus.) They rushed me through, no hassle, and I was seen pretty quick. Took samples etc...but never felt like a leper in the process. Very very professional. I never thought Id find my self recommending a clinic however, God forbid, one must be seen, treated or what have you, THIS CLINIC is awesome ! Be safe out there Tucson, this thing IS REAL...

Great environment and very friendly people. Joel Lippe PA was amazing! Very friendly and took the time to make sure I understood everything. He never made me feel rushed. Wish he could be my primary care physician because I could tell he truly cares about his patients!

I came in because i was gaving a hard time breathing. I did my paperwork before I even walked in the door they called me back quickly I waited in the room for a bit longer than comfortable before anyone came to see me (about 30 minutes) but then when the doctor did see me she was amazing above and beyond felt like I was talking to my own mom with the amount of compassion and care I was given

Very professional and helpful nurses who got me in quickly, ran appropriate tests and got me on good antibiotics that had me feeling better that same day. In my opinion, the best urgent care in the area.

Most unhelpful PA I have ever met. Completely disregarded everything I said. I have a history of sinus and asthma issues and have always been prescribed prednisone especially during allergy season. Told me that the other doctors were wrong and that I didn’t need it. Very clear that she has 6 years of school not 8. People know their bodies especially when they have history of certain issues. If only doctors would actually listen to their patients. Went to southern Arizona urgent care immediately after and was prescribed the necessary medicine. Don’t waste your time here.

I went to hand for a bug bite around 11 AM and saw the doctor around 12:30 PM. Service was excellent quick and thorough. Overall it was a great experience with the urgent care center thank you

Pretty good but the speed of visitations is slow at times. It definitely depends on when you get in. Ive gone several times for different ailments and always come out satisfied by the result. The wait can be tiresome though, one time I waited up to 1 hour to be seen. Thats the worse of it. Otherwise, the staff are caring and exemplary. Always have had a good diagnosis.

They take too long, they have many people to check in patients, but only one provider. And for some reasons medical staff don’t mind being rude too patient and make then feel stupid and look in to their eyes and be rude, don’t they understand that their patients are sick and in pain?

A normal checkup takes 2 hours. The receptionists are disrespectful and prefer chatting to finishing up your paperwork. The doctor I saw treated me as if i knew nothing about a condition I have had for over 20 years.

The worst feeling!My husband hurt his back at work, we went to NextCare on Park Ave and a medical assistant, Lori helped my husband.....she then began to complain about the time he scheduled and about doing her job. She left the room then started complaining to the nurse who was there. My husband walked out of the room to confront her and she power walked into another room..... Such an evil person! Why be in the medical field if your only there to belittle a person.... I called to file a complaint, after 3 times calling my husband finally got a call back only to be told they will call the clinic and talk to Lori..... Havent heard anything back yet but wanted to warn people of Lori and whom ever she was complaining to should have also told her to shut her trap... So sad they employ someone like her!

The Dr and staff are condescending and rude.My daughter went in to be treated for a minor allergic reaction health concern, that could have been very serious. My philosophy better safe then sorry. The Dr. told her a few things, but mostly if it gets worse go to the hospitalShe came out of the room while he was at his desk to ask another question.I went on a speaker call to listenHe told me that she was making him uncomfortable...Really?We paid for services and came out feeling worse, unbelievable.Note, there is still something called bedside manner.There are other places in Tucson to go for care. I highly recommend finding them.

Ive been coming to this NextCare with my family since they opened at this location. I have small children, so I always sign in with the Wahoo service. Keep in mind that even with Wahoo, the wait can sometimes be daunting, but the care we receive is worth it. Sometimes you can get lucky; we were in and out within 30 minutes at our last visit. The doctors and staff here are professional and friendly. I especially appreciate the check-up call after visits.Unless you have a life-threatening situation, this is the place to go to avoid the ER.

Always very helpful at getting what you need to cure what ever it is that ails me. Alway moves me forward in health when my doctors are slow to diagnose, prescribe, or are just plain to busy. Staff is always friendly and show care though this last visit the doctor was kinda indirect about a few thing...in the end what he gave me helpedthough I need a check up to cover a few things with him...

The receptionist is extremely rude and is always on her phone. The staff isn’t any better, they act like they’re doing you a favor. I have a horrible cold and cough and the doctor didn’t even bother to check my lungs or anything, she just told me to stay home

I came in with very swollen tonsils, white spots on my tonsils, and it was very difficult to swallow. I am from out of town and visiting for a few weeks in Tucson. The doctor spent less than a ten seconds looking at me and told me I had drainage and allergies. He right off the bat said Im going to prescribe you Sudafed. ( I could have just gotten this over the counter without a 350.00 dollar visit at any given pharmacy ) I kept on taking it. Almost a week has gone by and my condition is now so sever my throat feels almost enclosed and the white patches have spread all over. I do not think I have allergies. I called back to see if I could see the doctor again since I was not prescribed any medicine for some sort of discounted price. The answer was no. Please no not go here. Go somewhere where they spend time with you and recognize an infection when you have one. Also, the receptionist was not very friendly.Update: I had to go to another urgent care because my throat started hurting so badly and allergy medicine I was prescribed had no affect on me. I was finally diagnosed with a throat infection. I was prescribed antibiotics elsewhere and my infection went away. Next time I believe more that a quick look in a throat would be necessary to diagnose a patient.

Getting seen and diagnosed was a breeze... But then they sent my prescription to a pharmacy in a other city. Then the wrong part of town. And then I called in to get it sent to the correct pharmacy twice. Still didnt get it. I had to go back in person to get it sent to the right place. Staff was apologetic and professional, but the organization is a mess. This whole ordeal took two and a half hours longer than it should have.

I was in a lot of pain and worried about the diagnosis; they saw me right away, were very kind, and smart in their analysis prescription. Had to go back a couple days later and only got the same kind, fast service. Thank you for taking such good care of my health!!

I was taken quickly even though I didnt have a reservation. The PA Was friendly and very knowledgeable.. She was able to diagnose my problem and prescribe a medication that took care of my problem.

The front office staff was okay. The first women could have had better customer service. The back office staff and the provider was exceptional!! Thank you all for all you do!!

I give them 0 stars if I could I took my daughter in for a X-ray on her foot because she was limping and I explained to them she was recently in a car wreck they gave me the most judgment eyes it was the 2 girls at the front desk and acted so rude to me and made me feel so uncomfortable I just wanted to get out of there because of how they were acting to me when I just wanted to make sure my toddler foot was okay I will never go to a urgent care again I decided to end up taking her to a hospital for the X-ray because urgent care was so rude to me when I needed help.

This Urgent Care is the best one Ive ever been to. Several visits even though I moved far away from it. They have the best providers. Period. My sister was sick and she really had given up hope. What Joel said to her had nothing and everything to do with the 💓 and he is an exoere on the heart. I was there today for some inhaler couldnt breathe last night. Joel wasnt there so couldnt tell him I lost my sister. But Davidson took care of me. These guys are smart real healers.

I came in from out of town traveling thru and felt very Ill. I dropped in and was received in a timely manner, treated well all around, very friendly. Was given some meds which I badly needed. Left feeling like I was well taken care of even though they knew nothing of my history.

Tells me to sit down and fill out paperwork while I came in on crutches, surprise I cant carry this stuff to my seat. After you watched me struggle to open the front door, maybe offer to help. I get an x-ray and they diagnose me with a previous injury I told them about then call me to l the next day to tell me I didnt fracture my knee again. Thanks pretty sure I could have self diagnosed that. This office doesnt seem to communicate well with reach other either.

Staff is all amazing and understanding. Checked in online and it was a super easy process the entire time I was there.

The first time I went here for a UTI, the staff was so helpful and saw me right away and were able to prescribe antibiotics and pain killers that knocked out my UTI right away.The second time I came here, I thought I had strep throat. My test results were negative, but I knew something wasnt right. I told them this felt like more than just a sore throat caused by a virus. They prescribed me rest, fluids, and gargling with salt water. When I started feeling even worse the next day, I decided to go to U of A Campus Health Services instead. They saw me immediately, and after taking a good look at my throat concluded that I had tonsillitis. If it werent for Urgent Care telling me nothing was really wrong, I couldve been well on my way to feeling better and getting back to classes. Not to mention I was in severe amounts of pain and NOTHING was helping. Thank god for U of A Campus Health Services, Ive been prescribed antibiotics and I am well on my way to recovering.I was very displeased with the inaccuracy of Urgent Cares medical staff.

I arrived at 7:58 and was first to be seen. I experienced instant care by professional staff members. I cant remember a facility that was so concerned with my needs. I give them a thumbs up!

I went to the clinic with knee pain. The receptionist and x ray technician were both polite and helpful. The provider, Christopher Cardwell, after a cursory evaluation, gave me a referral to an orthopedic clinic which is not part of my insurances network. This was after I requested a non-specific referral. After I reviewed the history on my evaluation I noticed several inaccurate system reviews, including items completely fabricated that he had not asked me about. The most glaring error was the statement I was pre-menopausal whereas I am post-menopausal! When I called to question this Cardwell was rude stating you got the referral you came in for, the rest doesnt matter. I think this was completely unprofessional of him, unnecessarily rude when I was merely inquiring why these inaccuracies were on my history, and indicative of I dont give a damn about accurate reporting.I do not recommend this clinic, and I think NextCare needs to ensure their providers treat patients with respect.

Make the extra drive to the location on Kino. This place is the worst. I wont get into my specific reasonings for being there, but the NP seemed to be particularly busy. Didnt do a physical examination and when she spoke to me, she had her hand on the door knob the entire time, like she could run out at any minute.The clinic on Kino has a wonderful team and Im sad I didnt drive the extra 5 minutes.

They saw us right away and they stitched a cut my daughter had on her ankle. The front office asked all the right questions and helped with paperwork to make the process as smooth as possible. Thank you so much!

The staff and providers are good, however it always takes me more than an hour to see a doctor whether it is busy or not. I never have this problem at other Next care or UrgentCares.

I would give 5 stars but the people forgot to send my prescription to the pharmacy and now theyre closed and I cant get them till the next day.Edit: I take it all back the fast visit wasnt worth it. They said I had a nasal drip problem, well bs I have an abscess on my tonsil and he didnt even take the time to look. Now Im going to the hospital to have surgery! Forgot my prescription and made a wrong diagnosis! Never will I go back!

The checkin process was easy, the wait was not as long as I had anticipated and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I really appreciated how comfortable the environment of the office was.

Personally I was an still am shocked, been to I count how many Drs in my life great people great doctors one phone call I was there an in the office in 5 to 10 minutes. Please I beg you keep this going. Bless you all

Came in for anxiety, which the dr said she would be able to prescribe pills for however would not in my case even. I assumed it was because they thought I was drug seeking college student. She suggested rest and gave me a few days off school. I had no primary care dr at the time and had been looking for a psych dr for about a month that would take my insurance, so this was the quickest way I thought to get help. I ended up completely withdrawing from school because of the anxiety and inability to get help, in addition to going into a deep depression. This place disappointed me because I had a real problem and the dr wouldn’t help me start off on any medication. I honestly don’t think she believed that I even had anxiety. But after withdrawing from school I was able to get therapy and find a psych dr that confirmed what I told her and actually gave me what I needed. I wish I would’ve been gotten the help I needed when I asked in the first place. Worst experience of my life and ended up messing me up further. Will never return because in my opinion they’ll assume you’re only a student not a person who actually needs help. I’m upset because they could’ve helped before things got worse but yet refused

I started at the S. Calle Santa Cruz location yesterday for a sports physical for my daughter. My appointment was @ 615, and I arrived @ 600. I was told that there would be a two hour wait even with the appointment. I called around to the other locations and found Park Ave. had zero people reported in the lobby. Being only 15 minutes away we went there and they had us out in no time. Thanks!

Took my daughter in for a sports physical today. Scheduled online for a 6pm appt was seen right away. Fast friendly service. Great customer service all around. The physical was ONLY $25!!! Thanks NEXTCARE!!!

Had a positive experience at the Oracle location but the Park Ave location was just a disaster. From a rude front desk person, to miscommunication about my insurance and benefits and instead of a $15 co-pay was forced to pay over $100 out of pocket...avoid avoid avoid. I’m now in hell, dealing with their dodgy billing department trying to get my money back for being overcharged...even though my insurance provider was on the phone with NextCare..they STILL are insisting that what they have in their computer system is correct and I have a deductible to satisfy. Total scam artists.

The wait time here is extremely long. When I got here there was only one or two people in the back. They informed me there was only one doctor and one nurse. I got here at 8:34am called back at 9:12am and Im still waiting to be seen and its 10:04am. Only reason I havent left is because I bet they will still try to charge me the copay.

I booked an appointment so i could check in early, since i had pink eye and a sore throat and wanted to get treatment as fast as possible, but it took 2 hours for me to even get any type of care as they stuck me in a room and basically forgot i was even there. save ur time and go to literally any where else

This place always takes an hour to be seen even if you have a “check in time” which means nothing to them. they also take forever to get test results back, and the front desk lady was so rude and didn’t care that I was very sick. Don’t recommend.

I’ve had a bad experience with the receptionist. There has been a mistake with my insurance not covering a service while it does. I have reassured to double check on it as I’m aware my insurance covers the service. After paying for the service, the receptionist then realized that my insurance covers everything.

Needed a last minute sports physical for school. Staff was lovely and we were in and out. Very easy to schedule an appointment online!

This is a joke. I scheduled an online appointment, and I came in 15 minutes early, like I was told to do. Yet, its been over an hour and I still havent been seen. PLEASE fix online scheduling, NextCare! Dont have this as an option if it is this inaccurate. I scheduled online so I didnt have to wait at NextCare because I am sick. I dont want to get anyone else sick, or get anyone elses sicknesses.Please people, go ANYWHERE else. I hope I, and no one else never has to come back to this pathetic excuse of an urgent care.

I landed in Tuscon sick. I had the same thing before, so I knew what was wrong. My hometown provider wanted me to come in when I got home (two days and three time zones later). I chose NextCare and they treated professionally and quickly. Thanks to their care, I could be much more comfortable in Tuscon and on my flight home!Thanks,Wendy

Im at this facility now. The physician assistant, Joel Lippe, is not listening to my concerns, seems very unfamiliar with how to treat my condition and is very condescending. He seems to have already made up his mind about my treatment and is not open to listening to me about my issues, which I have been managing for ten years. Joel seems to know next to nothing about this common ailment and how to treat it. I would not recommend NextCare.

Horrible customer service my mom went in there tonight with a fever and not feeling good and the doctor was upset she went In at 740 and said they close at 8 she pretty much was upset that she went in to go see her because why wait until they close , they said there’s nothing that she can do she sat there and pretty much said your waisting my time by coming in

Awful -- couldnt even take a temperature right. My girlfriend came in with a terrible viral infection. She had the whole gamut of classic viral/flu like symptoms. They took her temperature, and told her it was 98.6 (it was actually 101.4, as per my thermometer and another urgent cares thermometer), then looked in her ear and told her it was kinda red. They did a strep throat test and sent her on her way, but even an idiot could tell you that she very obviously did not have strep throat. These people do not know what theyre doing, and they over prescribe antibiotics to boot. Stay far, far away.For a good urgent care, go to Southern Arizona Urgent Care on the opposite side of the University.

Everyone was helpful n caring. I was brought to the back just as soon as I finished my paperwork. I was seen immediately. I felt well taken care of. I highly recommend Nextcare Urgent Care.

The front desk lady is not nice. She’s very loud with patient information and is not very friendly at all. I notice she’s much ruder with the students from U of A than she is with other adults. I’ve been here multiple times and she’s always this way.

Had a problem with ringworm growing on my leg a while back, they gave me some by pill stuff and it got taken care of rather fast. Came back with the same problem a few months later (Wasnt as resolved as I thought). The doctor said it was a rash, but not ring worm Maybe some dry skin. I go to the ER a week later AFTER IT HAS DEVELOPED, and guess what? Its ringworm, and its everywhere. And now its growing on my upper torso. Dont go here if youre not looking to get your concerns scoffed at.Side note, a doctor with the name Robin something is very rude and does the bare minimum to help. She looked at my problems for less than 15 minutes and I was on my way out with NO help whatsoever.

Dont go here. Save your time and money. They did absolutely nothing for me, and I wasted $130. I was treated condescendingly and disrespectfully, and the person I saw said that what I was going through wasnt that bad.Please dont go here. This place needs to lose business so they learn that they cant treat patients this way.You can find better medical advice and expertise from WebMD compared to this place. I will never go to this place again.

The physician assistant and his staff were horribly unfriendly. I completely wasted my time and $75 dollars coming here. I will not be returning to this location. The only pleasant person was the front desk receptionist.

Extremely courteous, efficient, non judgmental, sympathetic & most importantly...always there to help. They are also not costly, which is something I truly appreciate during this pandemic.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Worst service ever! Went in needing first aid for a burn. Received no treatment! I was in agony and all they cared about was getting billing information. Urgent care is useless. Its just another money making racket that drives up the prices of health insurance!

Great, friendly professional staff... Was in&out within less than 15 minutes. Had conjunctivitis if the eye and got my prescription sent to my local pharmacy.. Definitely recommend 👌

Worst set of Urgent Care Facilities in Tucson. I go in and the doctor ie nurse practitioners dont see my giant abscess on my face and the tears in my eyes...they dont care that id rather die then be going through this pain. I tell the blonde haired 50 something year old Nurse practitioner that i have been on Augmentan for the last week and its not helping and that im already immune to other antibiotics from the constant use for my infections... SHE DOESNT EVEN LOOK IN MY MOUTH...SHE LOOKED IN MY EARS THATS IT! She says keep taking the antibiotics and that they dont give pain meds for tooth pain... this is beyond tooth pain. This is a dangerous infection in the soft tissue of my jaw and cheek. This is a blood infection. Im now running a 101.4 fever and on so much pain. I highly recommend not using these URGENT Wastes of time. They are so stuck on judging people for saying they are in pain meaning they need drugs and are addicted to drugs when i havent taken a pain med in 5 months and they see this by just looking up your name since Arizona tracks this stuff. They are so sure that everyone is lying about pain and being in pain like Im making up the giant lemon sized ball in my cheek. Like im making up the continued blood and puss seeping from my gums... If only she would have looked.... If only she wasnt 100% sure that i was a drug addict and worried that everyone is when they say they are in pain... Not only that but she tried to blame Nextcare and say its their policy when i went to the other location months and months ago with the same issue and have family friend that i sent to the one on oracle and wetmore and they got pain meds and antibiotics just as i have. So this dumb nurse was so chicken to call and ass-u-me i was there for a quick fix she wouldnt even look. And we wonder why our insurance rates are so high... why should my insurance pay for that horrible care? Why pay for a Judgemental assumption without even looking into my mouth? How is that urgent care and the standard practice of ers and urgent cares all over the USA that say they are required to provide care no matter what. I didnt even get a proper exam by this horrible person. Dont go here ever. Your just going to be called a drug addict if your in pain and you say your in pain.... F that!

Quick, helpful, friendly, and got me in and out within an hour. Turned up with corrrect diag and proper treatment. Hopefully will get better soon.

Literally had to wait 5 hours just for a doctors note. Nurse shoved strep test stick and flu test down my nose and throat. Not to be dramatic, but Id rather get fired and left without a doctors note than come here again.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. I could come as soon as it opens and still have to wait for hours. The nurse and receptionist are condescending and rude. They insist on pronouncing my name wrong even though I go by a different one and hassle me on payment. Youre better off finding a voodoo doctor.

My sinus infection diagnosis went quick and antibiotic was sent onto Walgreens within a matter of minutes stepping out of the facility.
