PRISTINE OB-GYN CARE - Spring

They texted me after hours the night before my 8:45am appointment to cancel it on me and to tell me that they’re out of network for my insurance. I couldn’t even call to verify that was correct or to pay out of pocket. I am 9 weeks pregnant and high risk, and they apparently saw me twice without being network and didn’t tell me until the day before a very important appointment.I would absolutely never recommend an establishment that makes their clients feel this way, how awful.

For a health care provider, trying to get in contact with the front desk staff by phone it is impossible. My wife was admitted to the hospital and I called to provide this information, multiple calls in different days, that way they can cancel whatever appointments were scheduled. Finally, I was able to talk to a representative most likely in another country, she noted and she said she was going send an email. STILL close to a month, nothing. I will take my newborn and wife elsewhere.

My wife has been waiting for a specific ultrasound appointment for 2 months. The first time they called to reschedule because the ultrasound tech wasn’t available. Had to wait 3 weeks for the next appointment, which they then called to cancel the morning of, because the doctor called in sick. The next available appointment wasn’t until 2 weeks later. In total she will have been waiting 3 MONTHS with a chronic condition with no answers and no empathy. “Sorry that’s just the next available”. Meanwhile they have a deposit and a patient with no relief or even any answers. Awful place.

Front desk is a poor representation of the establishment. Unprofessionally dressed, lack of engagement and unwelcoming. Rooms were dirty, outdated and poor location. I have never been charged by any other medical office to print a copy of immunization records but they said per company policy they had to charge me $20. Overall, would not recommend.

I scheduled an appointment as a new patient two weeks ago and provided all the insurance information necessary. Less than 24 hours before my appointment I received a phone call and got informed that the doctor is out-of-network. They had two weeks to check this information and let me know. Instead, they waited until the last minute, so I had to look for another doctor immediately. So unprofessional and careless. I have never experienced anything like that.

Everyone was so polite and friendly! The place looks nice and clean, and the wait wasnt bad at all. I highly recommend Dr. Ashraf in case youre looking for someone trustworthy and very thorough. Shes the best!

The worse place to meke an appointment, employees dont know what there doing not able to get eligibility for an insurance. One week and not able to get eligibility for my insurance not able to call the insurance and different people calling me to email to give them my insurance info when I have already gave it to them when my appointment was scheduled no manager has called back and after ready all this reviews worse place to go get checked out I was referred by St Lukes hospital this was an emergency appointment and not able to do there job right.

Dr. Ashraf is amazing. She is very thorough, patient, knowledgeable and empathetic. I had a miscarriage that ended up doing a D&C with major blood loss. Dr. Ashraf was with me throughout the way checking on me after her office had closed and during her lunch breaks. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor

I don’t know how they managed to have my review deleted, but I noticed it was gone and my experience was bad enough that I came back to leave it again.I had bleeding during my pregnancy because of a hemorrhage between the placenta and the wall of my uterus. I couldn’t go to my regular obgyn because a hurricane was coming that day and I had just moved to the north side form Clear Lake, so I wasn’t able to go all the way down there In a storm, but I was bleeding heavily and my doctor told me to find a doctor near me to get an ultrasound.It was 2020, so covid restrictions were in place. There was a sign on the door that said patients could only bring a guest if they were having an ultrasound. I was having an ultrasound because I had giant clots coming out and I thought I was losing my child. They wouldn’t let my husband come in with me. I was sobbing and bleeding, and they were incredibly rude. Even the doctor had zero empathy. She snapped at me that her staff were excellent professionals when I told her how rude they were. I told her it was unconscionable to make me go through an appointment where I might be finding out I lost my child alone. Absolutely nothing.It’s been almost four years and I’m unpleasantly surprised they’re still in business.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR SONS CIRCUMCISIONS..We got referred from this Clinic to their partner clinic for circumcision for my son and 6 months later we just found out that Doctor clearly don’t know how to Circumcise,. the Doctor that saw my son is an African Cameroonian lady very light skin .. Now my son is stuck with fore skin that he will have to deal with for the rest of his life and I PAID $200 for a Job NOT WELL DONE..HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CLINIC…

Sat in a room in a paper gown for 37 minutes. I had a 2 pm appointment and that I took off work for.Upon arriving 15 minutes early I walk up to the door to see a sign that says “we take lunch from 1-2 so please wait in your car til 2”Cool. Wait in the car. At 2 I go in check in get weight and put in a room with the gown.Then proceeded to wait 37 minutes. No one came in. I could hear their staff laughing and having a great time . No one checking on their first time patient.After I finally got tired and annoyed that I took a pto day to sit in room waiting for nothing , I got up and got dressed to leave. I said I’m actually good I got tired of waiting.The staff was not apologetic AT ALL .I said I wanted to make sure my insurance wasn’t charged for an exam I never received the girl said - “I’ll just cancel your appt” once again no apology.I was looking into getting my kids In With their pediatrician but not after this horrible experience.If I had canceled today or had not shown up I would’ve been charged $50.Yet the doctor couldn’t be bothered to go to our appt and what do I get besides a wasted pto day?

Entire staff is great and super nice. The atmosphere is clean, organized, and inviting. Dr. Ashraf is a wonderful doctor. I would recommend her to everyone.

First visit.Very friendly and efficient staff. Very clean facility. Refreshing to have a front waiting area that doesnt have noisy TVs. There are magazines to read.Very professional Doctor O. She explained everything to me calmly and clearly. Very nice, although she does talk a little fast.Not too happy I have to check with insurance about the mammogram and ultrasound places.Not a long wait at all. Overall definitely glad we are coming here now.

Dont waste your time! The ladies at the front ignore calls and are extremely unfriendly. They lie to you about your wait time, I was scheduled for 2:45pm and was never seen. I decided to cancel my appointment and leave after being forgotten about undressed in the back for 45 mins! When I questioned what was taking so long I was informed that my appointed doctor had decided to do a whole new procedure on a different patient. The lack of communication here is horrendous! I came in pain hoping to be treated with care and I was completely neglected.Find someone else who actually cares about your health! Its crazy that they try to charge late fees when they are ok with playing with your time. I was promised a refund and havent seen one yet.

I am a new patient here, I transferred from another OBGYN and I am already feeling so much more comfortable here and looking forward to coming here now for all my future visits and having Dr. Ashraf assist me in my delivery in March. After meeting her she was so pleasant and I loved that she gave me information without having to ask since this is my first pregnancy, I dont always know what all to ask or expect. Their office is really nice and well kept. The ladies at the front desk are sweet and helpful. All around I am happy to be a patient here. I had a bad experience with my last Dr and coming here has made me feel relaxed again & excited about my pregnancy.

This OB office is horrible. I had both doctor Fonhoue and Ashraf. Neither of them know what they are talking about. I cant get a straight answer from either of them when it comes to abnormal test results; they dont know how to operate an ultrasound machine and constantly measure my baby two weeks behind when he is infact measuring perfectly; Ashraf doesnt know how to operate a fetal doppler and measured my 17 week son with a heart rate of 115 and said its normal -- knowing damn well thats not normal for a 17 week fetus. This isnt my first baby, this is my 3rd. And I know damn well anything under 120BPM is a cause for concern; I also had a concern where I had an abnormal pap smear come back, and doctor Fonhoue brushed me off and told me she doesnt understand whats going on and to just come back in 5 years -- and the funny thing was when I went to my new OB, my pap smear came back completely normal; another problem was I supposedly tested positive for Bacterial Vaginosis, then had another test done that came back negative for Bacterial Vaginosis -- and doctor Fonhoue once again couldnt give me a damn answer and just told me to talk to another doctor. I talked to doctor Ashraf about it, and she told me not to take any medicine to just eat yogurt or drink Kombucha for it. Not to mention doctor Fonboue prescribed me a medicine for it that is dangerous for the fetus before 12 weeks ofpregnancy, and still isnt recommended during pregnancy. Once again, went to my new doctor Oliver Batiste and all my tests came back normal. No BV, no abnormal pap smear.I even told them Im not coming back and yet the lady Jessica Verede keeps calling me asking me to come in and take a blood test for Spina Bifida, knowing I told her Im not coming back to Pristine and that I found a different OB to go to.The front office is never prepared; constantly asks me for my Medicaid card; puts people that are late for their appointment or even after my appointment time before me and Ive had to correct them numerous times on it (just a bunch of useless teenagers that dont know how to operate a OB office).If you want to be confused, concerned, have a doctor that doesnt know what shes talking about with anything prenatal related -- then come here. I have switched to Dr. Oliver Batiste at Memorial City and hes night and day from these bozos. Dont trust anything these doctors tell you, and always get a second opinion when dealing with them.

Only giving this office 1 star because the OB was the only nice person here. The front staff is super rude when you ask them questions & will not help you out. Phones & emails are never answered. Dont waste your time if you are looking for a new OB as they will never get back to you. Seriously worst experience with an office.

No one ever picks up. You leave voicemails and no one returns your calls. I’ve called several times and it always goes to voicemail. You make an appointment online because you can’t get a hold of anyone and it just gets canceled. Yeah don’t go here, can’t even get in as a new patient. I can only imagine how it will be when I establish care and need to be seen right away or speak with the nurse right away.

Its hard to find a good OBGYN and one close to home. So to write this review it came with a lot of thought process, because I won’t be able to go to this location again. First, your phone calls are outsourced to non-medical people, and it sounds like they are in a different country. If you have a problem or concern, that person is the middleman to speak on your behalf to the office. Second, the doctor will not call you to discuss lab results or diagnostic testing. They have the non-medical outsourced person call you. The doctor will make on note on the portal but that’s it. Also, as it relates to the portal, the Dr. clearly stated she will respond the next day.I came in with a medical problem and was prescribed a medication that made my problem worse. I called to alert the doctor (no help) and went to the office and was told by the front desk person that the doctor does not have a MA or nurse for me to relay a message too. The front desk seems to have a pattern of dismissive attitude when a concern is presented. After I suffered with my issue, I finally called again and agreed to surgery and that’s when I started to get their attention. A follow up appointment was made to discuss my symptoms.As it relates to the medication that was prescribed, she offered to double the dose, I told her I did that one time and made the issue even more problematic. She then offered a new medication.I personally addressed this issue about communication with the doctor and she stated there is nothing for her to do.She stated the company is in process of changing how calls are handled, but not sure when this will take place. As a patient, I dont feel safe receiving care at this location.

While I usually refrain from writing reviews, my encounter with this doctor compels me to share my thoughts. At six weeks pregnant, my daughter and I visited the Spring location for her first appointment, and the doctors lack of empathy and unethical behavior left us deeply dissatisfied. Despite my daughter’s concerns about fatigue and other pregnancy-related queries, her responses were dismissive (Her exact words were “It sucks for you”). She hastily diagnosed my daughter with gestational diabetes without any tests, blood work, or examinations. Accusing her of dishonesty regarding her last pap smear and conducting a rough and painful vaginal ultrasound were further distressing experiences. The physical discomfort persisted for days, prompting her to consider seeking emergency care. My daughter explained that she feltlike she was bruised on the inside. This doctors negligence and insensitivity are alarming, and I intend to report her to the medical board. I urge others to research and read reviews before choosing a healthcare provider.This is the worst doctor I have ever encountered.

Posting on behalf of my girlfriend, this place is the best about rescheduling all your appointments a day before without your approval. When you call them to discuss it, you cannot get ahold of anyone. We do not recommend this place and they have lost all business from us. I have to take her to all the appointments and have to take off from work 3 weeks in advance, so rescheduling is not an option. They will call and leave a voice mail asking you to call back to confirm that they can reschedule it and will reschedule immediately after the voice mail. The doctor acts like I do not exist when I’m there as far as the ultrasounds go. She hides the screen from me and when I move to look at it, she moves it away. She doesn’t like to answer questions and doesn’t believe you about your diagnosed conditions and has you go get a new diagnosis before continuing. This place sucks. The next appointment is the last one with them before we transfer her to another facility

This was my first time with this practice, and I was very pleased with everything. From the ease of scheduling, the ability to choose different locations, the friendliness of the staff, and the zero wait time at the office. The doctor has a great bedside manner, she was a good listener, very thorough, kind, and gentle. None of us look forward to these appointments, but I would highly recommend Pristyne Ob-Gyn to make the necessary checkups a little less stressful, and a much better experience.

So after whole time of my pregnancy here, after I gave birth to the baby, they always set my appointments check up with someone else, not my doctor without letting me know.My doctor ok until when I was 36 WEEKS, I asked when we do the LAST ULTRASOUND ? SHE SAID wait closer to my due date, and when I checked up on 39 WEEKS, THE DOCTOR ASKED BACK to me that did I do the ultrasound yet???? Really??? then she go get the computer with small ultrasound and did it herself. Luckily I have normal and good pregnancy, I’m not recommending to come here.Specially the all the front desk are not friendly at all.The PRISTINE PEDIATRIC is SPECIALLY NOTRECOMMENDED at all, the doctor not friendly and she like - tired and don’t want to work at all, she also recommend us go somewhere else with the doctor that’s take care my older kids so I left.

I love the doctor that I was seeing at this clinic. Shes amazing! However, communication with the staff is hard to deal with. I had to go somewhere else. Im so upset that it had to come to that. I think they use a 3rd party system. Its always an operator that takes your messages and passes it along to the office staff. The system they have in place is real touch and go sometimes the messages go through sometimes they dont. It makes it very frustrating.

Dr. L is amazing, unfortunately her staff isn’t professional or kind. Front desk staff absolutely rude. So eager to leave for lunch that she said I was good to go only to call me over & over again to say she didn’t take my payment. Like ma’am, you said I was good.Update: I kept getting ridiculous balances on my account, I kept having to show proof of payment and dispute charges on my account. I’ll have to find another doctor, it isn’t worth my peace.

On August 9th 2023 I went in for a Pap smear, this is 100% covered by my insurance. During the procedure Dr. Ashraf asked if I wanted to get tested for HPV. Little did I know, a few weeks later I get a $343 bill from my insurance because they coded the testing as an additional $3155 and I had to pay the deductible. Dr Ashraf failed to explain my benefits and also that this extra testing was not part of my visit. This is deceiving. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I was a new patient and will not go back. I went in to get the code removed but they direct me to a billing phone that’s not being answered. I’ve also sent an email and no reply. I’m stuck with this bill. DO NOT COME HERE, you have been warned

I’m not a huge fan of the administration at Pristine; random cancelled appointments and long wait times on the phone. Dr. Azka Ashraf, on the other hand, is a phenomenal doctor. She successfully diagnosed my pregnancy as ectopic and was able to spot it on one of my tubes, answered all my questions throughly, and quickly came up with a treatment plan for me. I feel grateful that I had this doctor who not only listened to all my concerns but expressed real urgency and care in my situation. Though a traumatic experience, having a skilled and caring OB made the process of diagnosis and treatment seamless.

Dr. Ashraf was great and knowledgeable. All her advice helped tremendously. However I just can’t stand dealing with their administration. Half the time no phone answer. Scheduling an appointment is annoying. Never got a patient portal registration code, had to ask about it in person. Was told I had to pay $115 from a previous appointment , before being seen for my current appointment. Multiple days of me asking for what and why? Can I have an itemized invoice? They couldn’t give me anything. I Never got anything. But needed my annual so just paid. Got scheduled a call with their billing and no one called me at the appointment time. All around very inconvenient admin. Will be leaving but thank you Dr.Ashraf for great medicine recommendation and lifestyle recommendations!!

Worst most expensive scam service there is. Front desk is rude. Dr is rude. Its a bad negative place and for the prices they charge they should be ashamed. They called me at 830pm one night to try to schedule me a follow up. That follow up contained my results that were in my portal. So I spent myoney on something not to mention getting there on something I had in my possession. It is truly ashame.

Dr.Ashraf is amazing and the best obgyn however after having my baby and getting on birth control I have major issues getting in touch with the office. When I finally do get in touch with the office and schedule an appointment they call me the day of the appointment and say I have an outstanding bill of $1700 so I cant be seen…. I have never received a bill nor a call for this. Even worse they won’t have anyone in the billing office call me until tomorrow so I can’t go to my appointment today. I had my baby a year ago and no one has gotten a hold of me for this bill if that tells you anything about the billing department. And when I brought this up to the lady on the phone all she said was “ooh so sorry about that mam” in a condescending tone.

Communication with this clinic is a total nightmare! I requested an appointment via the portal for a date and time that was available. The next day, they declined it on the portal, and I was told someone from the clinic would call me to set another appointment. So far, nothing from the clinic. Ive tried calling again, and Im being taken around in circles (again) that someone from the clinic will call. This is ridiculous!!

Phones are never answered. They will cancel your appointment the day before the appointment and claim that it was never confirmed even though I received the confirmation. They had me show up to my rescheduled appointment just to tell me it’s been canceled. No phone call or email to inform me. I’m also being given a bill even though I’m covered by my insurance. I was never told it wasnt covered and that I’d be coming out of pocket. 4 years later is when I’m being informed about this bill.

I have been going here since 2021 and my doctor is Dr. Ashraf. She is very responsive for all of my questions and understanding my concerns. She is honest and gives you what needs to be done. The front office people are amazing and they always take care of your paper work very quickly. When you call, they answer and solve your problem. I did not wait more than 30 min in Spring location. They are quick and everything goes very good here. I am taking my kids to pediatrics in this clinic and I am happy with it. Dr. Elmeer was patiently checking my toddlers and he always help us with his knowledge.

Wish I could put 0 stars. The doctors and nurses are unprofessional, sassy, and rude. The employees had their kids while at work. The doctor shouldn’t be doing this career bc she clearly isn’t a good doctor (prescribed medication that got me hospitalized and no call back when I left a message about severe symptoms). They also got my email wrong “go figure.” For a place called “pristine,” it’s anything but. If u want a happy pregnancy, look elsewhere. I know I am.

Front desk staff treats patients with contempt and disrespect. Very rude. Facilty feels unclean with tools already unwrapped and no sinks in the exam room for Dr to wash hands. 5 days after pap I had major runs then tested positive thereafter for C.Diff that im still taking antibiotics for. Im going to find a new OBGYN office.

I just had an appointment with Dr. Azka Ashraf yesterday and I must say she is a brilliant doctor! I was so nervous for my appointment but she made feel so comfortable. She’s very knowledgeable, helpful, and caring. I will definitely continue seeing her for my future appointments!

Absolutely ridiculous waiting time. They have a policy, if u r late 15 min on ur appointment they might charge u a fine. But if u come on time the wait time is about 40 to 50 min and they have no shame for it. Even the staff says its on doctor we have nothing to do about it. They thinks we have no important work in life than sitting in there.

Amazing staff! Very professional and courteous! I had a well woman exam and I will definitely be coming back. It was so refreshing to walk in and see beautiful black queens everywhere! Kuddos to the appointment setter that Id spoke over the phone , shes very polite and wonderful :)

This is my fourth pregnancy and all I can say is I wish I had found them sooner! Dr. Ashraf is amazing and always answers all of my questions and concerns. The staff is friendly as well and the wait is nothing compared to other doctors offices. I am always in a out as fast as possible! So happy with my experience so far.

My recent visit was quick once I checked in. Checking on my IUD placement and was comfortable that if I had any questions I could ask.

Ive been going to this clinic for a couple of years, and I will say that I have spent more time waiting then being seen. I dont know if its my doctor specifically but Im always waiting for nearly an hour. Im actually sitting in the room with no pants on and its going on an hour and I heard her tell another patient thank you for patiently waiting. My appointment was at 8:15 am and I arrived at the clinic around 8:10am.... I didnt see anyone else. After today I will be finding another OB GYN.

This is my first pregnancy so I wasn’t sure what to expect. After my anatomy scan, they sent me to a specialist due to a possible cyst on my baby. I was not informed of this until over a month after my scan and only Bc I asked if all was good since I didn’t get any feedback. So I went to the specialist and luckily there was nothing found and he said he would relay there were no abnormal findings. Also while I was at the specialist he mentioned my genetic blood test they sent him was all good and I had no idea what he was talking about was never informed I was getting that test or of the results. Well next I had glucose tests and some other appointments scheduled and was notified the morning of my appointment that those would need to be rescheduled BC dr was delivering a baby and the counselor for the other apt called out that day. So my refills for antidepressants ran out in the meantime and I have now attempted to reschedule and was informed that I’ve been terminated as a patient. When asking why, they robotically repeated the same thing just terminated and can no longer be seen as a patient there. I’m 33 weeks pregnant now and have to try to find a new doctor, still haven’t got to do any glucose tests and cold turkey off depression meds and they don’t have the courtesy to tell me a reason why or offer to refer me to somewhere else.

I had a horrible experience at this doctor’s office. The staff was very unwelcoming from the moment I walked in the door. The doctor completing my pelvic exam was Dr. Aqel, the service was already a very uncomfortable feeling and the doctor kept reinstating that if I did not relax It would hurt me more Or I would feel a pinch. Her comments came across as very rude and unethical I will not be coming back.

I started coming here due to the new insurance I have & had to switch OBGYN and I liked Dr. Ashraf, she was friendly and it was overall a good visit but it’s been a month since my appointment and today was my second time calling for my annual STI’s lab results and once I called, they immediately uploaded my results so I can only assume they had been sitting there for who knows how long. There was bacteria present and when I called back to ask if the doctor would be calling me to speak to me about the results, or if she’d be able to call me, she told me I would have to make another appointment to discuss my results or message her online through the patient portal. I’m sorry but after having my appointment, and getting results from that appointment, there should immediately be some communication of some sort or prescriptions sent if needed. No care seems to be shown in this office and it’s concerning especially if there’s something wrong or if there were something more life changing as being pregnant, I’m having a hard time trusting the way they do things. It’s really disappointing.

I was a patient of Dr. Azka Ashraf. She is my Ob/Gyn. She was so nice and kind through my difficulty of being pregnant since I had an ectopic pregnancy she was following up with me making sure I was good and taken care off. She also did my surgery and everything turn out so good excellent doctor. Also she’s very straight up with you because she cares for your health.

There was a little mix up in scheduling which made me really nervous at first but doctor ASHRAF, AZKA came in and was amazing! She listened to me and had very useful, medical advise to give in return about absolutely everything- I said and asked. I’d recommend this doctor to anybody and will be going back as needed!

Although the providers are great, this clinic will call you a day before your appointment and try to reschedule you. Some of us are full time employees and some of us are also a provider and have patients to attend rescheduling last minute is not professional.

To obgyn I saw was extremely pushy and tried to use scare tactics to force me into a vaccine. She spent 20 minutes of my appointment telling me how I need to get vaccinated. After about 15 minutes I informed her I would consider it but I would like to move on to discussing the baby. She then asked me why I’m considering it instead of just getting it. I informed her that I don’t feel comfortable debating my beliefs about vaccinations but I will consider it and I respect her views. She responds “it’s not my view it’s science”then informed me mothers have still births or pass away due to Covid and how one of her patients who is my age just died because of her lack of being vaccinated. I don’t appreciate the scare tactics and I left the doctor feeling very uneasy and overwhelmed. It’s been 3 1/2 weeks and I still haven’t gotten a phone call about my lab results. The online portal they provide has no updated information and they do not answer the phone. I will be switching doctors.

This is my first pregnancy, everything is very new to me. The cost, the labs, the screenings, the ultrasounds, my needs. Everything. The office was pretty, everyone was seemingly nice but after a few visits speaking with everyone and being explained the maternity global (they didnt they just said this is what you pay), From the office staff to the doctors they didnt seem to want to offer information. I feel like here you get bare minimum everyone rushes you including the doc. Not to mention the appointment scheduling. They would just give you appointment and not speak with you to make sure the dates and locations were okay. I assumed that my location was in spring because that is the only one I ever visited but then I had been called to confirm my next day appointment only to find out the appointment was in a diff location or I had to reschedule. Mistakes like this should not happen. They seemed very lazy and just went with the flow, I didnt feel important. I switched doctors and when I went to my first visit It was extremely refreshing in comparison, They gave me so much information without me needing to ask them anything. The doctor explained all of the labs and blood work they were doing and were just really comforting. Everything was completely out in the open. They also had the option to schedule all of my appointments out ahead of time and provide me with a financial adviser to go over everything insurance wise. I would only see the nurse practitioner and doc, no one else and they made sure that I was satisfied with the visit before parting ways. I hope Pristine will learn something from this review. Im very glad I switched.

Dr. Ashraf really took her time with me on my first visit as a new patient. I was appreciative of her explaining everything I had concerns about.

The staff and Doctors treat you like you are the most important person on their schedule. They take time to understand your needs and explain every step of the care they will provide. I’mVery grateful for their care of me and my baby. Highly recommend Dr. Ogunlade especially. She has been the Doctor and friend to me. Thanks 🙏🏾

I saw the NP and she was incredibly informative and took time answering all of my questions as a new patient. I appreciated it.Edit to add: that if you get lab results and need follow up procedures, there will be zero communication and the doctors get frustrated with you when you want an explanation. I had no idea what a colposcopy was and had it explained to me literally BEFORE the procedure and she acted like I was annoying her by asking questions and being scared when literally no one explained anything to me beforehand. Now my lab results came back via their communication portal which I dont understand the technical verbiage and once again, no nurse called me to follow up with me or explain the results which I was told someone would call me. Good luck getting in contact with anyone via their phone system. Its a literal joke.

I usually don’t let anything upset me . Initially when I visited Dr. Placette she was nice, sweet and caring. That was during my confirmation appointment, so I decided to go with prenatal care with her. Worst mistake ever! They absolutely do not answer phone calls. They had a fetal medicine Dr. call me to set up an appointment which scared the life out of me. Dr. Placette could have easily called me first to ease my mind. Instead I was referred with no warning scheduled a genetics counselor appointment and for two days I prayed my baby didn’t have Down syndrome or any other genetic problems. Once I finally reached her Placette told me she communicate via patient portal. That’s ridiculous for any mother to get a call from a fetal medicine doctor with no explanation from there own personal Doctor! I now have one of the best Dr’s in the world people travel from out of state just for him to deliver there babies best bedside manners ever. I never encountered no other Dr there but Placette beside manners, is horrible she’ll never deliver no child of mine. Hopefully someone else have a better experience.Update: These or the only two messages in our secure messages. They claimed to had contacted me but if you look at the message date it’s dated the 17th. Also she referred to the ultrasound dated on the 9th. I am never going to lie to anyone about my experience with others. God lives in me! This review was to make sure no other woman experience a scare like this one and for the company to ease mothers minds pregnancy come with many other problems, we don’t need doctors who don’t properly communicate with us. I’m not attempting to deter anyone from there services. I’m not mad I just wish I wasn’t put through this.

The clinic looks clean and the staff were really great and helpful! A big shout out to Dr. Elmeery - Hes always making me and my husband feel good knowing we have such a great Pediatrician caring for our baby.

Dr. O is fabulous! By far the best OB-GYN Ive ever been to. She is informative, takes her time to discuss any concerns you may have, and is very expeditious in her exams. I was seen within moments of my appointment time, and was in and out in less than 30min.

I waited almost 2 hrs to be seen. I didnt get to see Dr. O, I inderstand doctors have emergencies but if thats the case dont have patients sitting around, reschedule. Was charged $254 for a visit that I was not suppose to be charged for cause I have insurance. The nurse who checked my vitals was very unfriendly. Went to another doctor and the same visit was $35 copay!

I normally DONT write reviews, but I will this time around for Pristine OBGYN. Today was my second time visiting. First time was for a regular women wellness check up. Experience was okay. Doctor Azkra (not sure if I’m spelling it right) was nice and friendly. However wasn’t too happy that I had some tests done and never got a call back to give me any results of my tests. Anyways, found out I’m pregnant and decided to go back there one more time. The three receptionists in the front couldn’t find me in their system for a 9am appt that i had schedule online the day before so I showed them a screenshot of the appointment confirmation. They obviously couldn’t say much after that. Anyways, so then they speak in Spanish amongst themselves, I’m guessing trying to figure out what to do since they dropped the ball on the appointment scheduling. So then they tell me I can’t bring my 16 month old to the appt and would need to find a baby sitter or someone to watch her. Then she ask if I could come tomorrow instead, no I work. So she proceeded to tell me to find a baby sitter and they can fit me in at 9:30am. At that time it was 9:05 so they wanted me to find someone literally in 25 mins. Hahahaha ridiculous! Needless to say they couldn’t see me I guess one, because they never confirmed the online appointment made by me.l and had no idea there was even a 9am appt and I couldn’t bring my own child in because I obviously had. O one to watch her. Smh. Never again.

I am a patient of Dr. Azka Ashraf. She is my Ob/Gyn. I had to have a hysterectomy last week. She has been so patient and informative during this entire process. I have never had a dr to sit with me and break down every detail and literally draw out how my uterus and fibroids looked. She asked personal questions to make sure that I was a good candidate for the procedure and was very informative. I love her spirit. She is genuine and caring.

Literally horrible! My entire doctors visit was completely focused on my weight! Anytime I asked about something or my concerns I was reverted back to my weight ! Her (the doctor) not knowing I had lost 50+ pounds prior to my pregnancy but neither did she ask, she just assumed since I was heavier , that I was just that heavier! I also have a history of anxiety and serve depression so her comments like “ You need ginger, not ginger snaps” & MANY more dawn on my mind daily! Also the receptionist were VERY VERY rude to most people even the elderly which probably bothered me the most. This is my first pregnancy & that was my first visit to an obgyn & I can truly thank this office for ruining it! Would not recommend you to bring your pet turtle , let along yourself!

Ive been with pristine since I was about 6 weeks and Im currently about to go on 29 weeks and Im so thankful for pristine and staff. Learned my lesson about calling them on the phone because the information seems to vary when its in person, but Dr. Leung is an absolute god send and I am just so comfortable and reassured by having her as my ob for my first child.

For basic Gynecological needs I liked Pristine. But as a patient who became pregnant I came to dislike Pristine very much. Being pregnant for the first time I was excited and wanted to look forward to the next appointment when the reality became I dreaded having to go back. The staff can just be rude, the lab staff always has a bothered attitude about them and it seems Ive interuped them watching Netflix on two occasions, one occasion they infiltrated my view from a blood draw (this doesnt happen anywhere else). Sonographer is rude and for someone who works at a clinic/doctors office never comes in with a face mask on or closes the door when giving a sonogram. The TV never seemed to work either. I recently switched my OB and was told I have a low lying placenta which he saw based off of scans provided by Pristine, yet according to Pristine everything was good. I DO NOT recommend this place.

The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Ashraf is very informative and takes time to get to know her patients. I had to change doctors after almost 10 years and I was amazingly pleased with Pristine.

Dr. Ashraf has been amazing! She takes her time and listens to your concerns/questions, and will find a solution. She has truly been an angel on earth and has saved my life!

This is my first pregnancy and there is alot I do not know about, so far I love the midwife Rose and the lady that takes my blood as well as the one that has done my US. However the rest of the staff, more on the clerical side I guess to me has been unprofessional. My questions are not being fully answered. Everything about the Global payments stuff has been communicated via email AFTER the weekly dues had already begun. Im not given choices on appointment dates until I called and complained. During my complain it started off fine but again my questions were not fully answered and i was still left confused aside from the fact that towards the end i was being cut off when I was talking. 2 stars because I cannot punish the ones I actually enjoyed due to the other staff mistakes otherwise they would get 1 . Im still pondering whether or not to switch providers only because I have enjoyed the three ladies that have done my actual medical work. I havent seen the doctor and Im perfectly fine with that because I do enjoy the midwife and her knowledge and sensitivity, so I cannot review on her.Update I transfered and Glad I did, however after a month of asking for my records , they still have not been transferred to my new doctor, good thing I keep copies...

It was truly an amazing visit with Pristine clinic. It was my first time coming alone for a visit and I felt the warm welcome from the staff. Dr. Ashraf was nice, she understood my concern and given me all the possible things I can do to solve my concern.

Visited clinic on 2920 in December 2016 for well woman exam. Small just builded facility. Easy to find and park. Clean. Helpful friendly receptionist. Very short waiting time which is awesome. I like my doctor (forgot her name, lady in her 50-60s, short salt and pepper hair). Can recommend her. I will come back to that location just because of her (it is far away from my house).

This is the WORST CLINIC EVER! PLEASE do NOT go here!!!!!! I was sick and could not attend my appointments for a about a month. Well when I decide to call back and schedule they tell me Im terminated, mind you Im 9 months pregnant!!!!!!!!!!! No doctor will even see me because how far along I am. Pristine just terminated a 9 month sick pregnant women. I was sick, last thing I had in mind was scheduling an appointment. I was actually exposed to COVID and that is why I could not attend my appointments. I didnt want to expose anyone! Then I call to speak to a manager and they tell me that they do not have a manager and sorry I spoke to LEIZA OLLIS. They are very unprofessional and I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND COMING HERE! I am know super stressed out because NO DOCTOR will take me!

Exellent Care from Dr Ashraf. She is the best and very caring. She took her time to listen to us and do her job very well. She was there and deliver our baby Girl safely. Cant ask for more. Thank you

UPDATE 12.06.2019: Finally found another doctor after switching insurance providers... Requested to get my medical information from the clinic, as always with Pristine my new doctor still hasnt received them... Im not sure if they just honestly dont care or if they have absolutely no time to fax over paperwork.....- If i could rate you guys a zero i honestly would. You had me wait 2 months to schedule an appointment to see a specialist to check my babys kidneys. Well i scheduled the appointment A MONTH AGO. now, two days before my appointment theyre calling me saying my insurance is out of network with them. They NEVER answer the phone. The times online dont match the times they dont answer. I call an hour even two before they are supposed to close and i dont get an answer. i only have 2 months until im due and if i switch insurance i will lose my doctor. This is my first baby. So that wrecks my nerves.-UPDATE: They terminated me for my review. Im almost 9 months pregnant and dont have a dr now.. When they terminated me, DR. O was very distasteful in the way she spoke to me. I even commented on the way she spoke to me and she calmed down a lot saying she was driving and wind was blowing so she wasnt yelling at me she was just speaking loudly.... Really wish i chose a different doctor sooner..

Dr. Ashraf and her staff are amazing!!! Dr. Ashraf went above and beyond when she attended to me. Shes was very sympathetic towards my visit and situation. Her staff is amazing as well and made my visit very pleasant.

Dr. Ashraf is an exceptional doctor in her field. The first visit she listened to my concerns and the issues I was experiencing monthly. From that visit forward, she guided me through each and every procedure. She is extremely informative and she offers options to select from.

You are LGBTQ friendly but discriminated against my kid who almost died from vaccines, and because you don’t get a financial gain, due to me as a parent choosing to save my kids life, you turn us away. This I’ll haunt you, good luck in success, because you won’t succeed! Mark the words!

Usually dont write reviews, but in this case i just had to.Went for my wellness exam back in April and paid cash since i dont have insurance, was told everything was covered for the visit under the fee that i paid. Visit was okay, the Dr was nice.But a few weeks after this happened i recieved a bill from QUEST diagnostics for some lab tests. Spoke to the billing department and they assured me i did not have to pay that bill since i had already paid the office for my lab tests. They said they would get in contact with quest.I have been emailing the billing department (Since now apparently there is no way to contact them directly) and no answer whatsoever! I am still getting bills from QUEST and it has been 3 months already! It is unbelievable. QUEST says nobody from Pristine has contacted them in regards to this bill. And i have called the office itself and have not gotten any help whatsoever.Terrible customer service and terrible billing department. Writing this hoping someone will get back to me and fix this mess.

My Dr. is Dr. O and she was fantastic. She was very informative and explained to me why she wanted to do things a certain way if it was different than what I was hoping with my delivery. She made me feel very comfortable and taken care of. And shes hilarious which always helps :)

Wish I could leave a negative star. DO NOT use this doctors office. They are very unprofessional. First, I scheduled with Doctor O. and they gave me someone else for my annual checkup. When you pick a doctors schedule, they should not change it and have you end up in a room undressed with someone else! !! Second, I had to chase down my lab results. Third, and most importantly, this practice did not take my endometriosis pain seriously and never even mentioned endometriosis when I described my pain. After reviewing my normal results, she referred me back to my PCP. Tell me, what OBgyn do you know refers a patient with a documented history of PCOS (missing an ovary) and endometriosis symptoms back to her PCP? AN INCOPETENT ONE! I wish that was a punchline, but it is not. Please DO NOT go to this practice, they do not give good care and they are so far from professional.

This office is an absolute joke! Between over charging me self pay prices AFTER charging my insurance for services not rendered, to when requesting my records be sent to another office ceasing all contact, to telling me certain tests/exams were “mandatory” (which they aren’t, and due to my age/family history they are NOT recommended), I will never step foot back in one of these offices to be seen, and I will absolutely steer anyone who thinks about this office away.

This was my first visit. Dr. Ashraf. Was very nice. She answered all my questions. The young ladies at front office were also very nice and professional. I am considering to continue with Pristine . This location is also very convenient for me.

I wont go back! Dr. O pushed so hard for me to get lapband surgery that I seriously wonder if she gets a cut from the doctors she recommends for the surgery. She said it was the only way Id ever get pregnant, that IVF would never last past 4-5 months and that my husband might leave me if I couldnt get pregnant. Who says that?! Within 6 weeks of meeting with her, I got pregnant (naturally), started seeing a different doctor and just gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy!

The red flags should have been the front associate yelling at the nurses across the waiting room, the classified patient information laying open on tables, not desks, the fact that they had me pee in a coffee cup, and the nurse having me reach around an actual ladder to check my weight. But I continued with my appointment for a nexplanon implant. My doctor spilled disinfectant down my shirt, staining it, did not give me information about the procedure beforehand, or warn me of any side effects, and implanted the nexplanon incorrectly. It has made my arm swell up, a rash had developed, and the bruises did not go away until I had to have it removed. It was only in for a few weeks because of how painful it was, since it was done INCORRECTLY. When I called the office and told them about the issue they demanded I create an online profile for their website in order to have anything relayed to the doctor. I will not jump through hoops for an office that practices unsafe procedures. I am working on reporting this office, and depending on how that goes, they might get to speak with me again very soon. Do not go to this facility if you value your health.Also, this review is posted as a kindness to any paitents looking for an obgyn, so I ask the office not to reply passive aggressively like that have on other reviews because it’s unprofessional and I would like my personal information to stay personal, thanks.

Came in for my postpartum appointment and was seen super fast. NP was very friendly and super knowledgeable. Was told about different birth controls I could take and given both pro’s and con’s. 10/10 would recommend!

Dr O is the best at what she does, she took care of me during my pregnancy and delivered my two bundles of joy. If you are looking for an amazing OB with a lot of experience, she is the one.

I would not even give them 1 star. The office staff is very incompetent. They are holding my medical records hostage for a mistake that they made. Now I am having a hard time seeeing a new OBGYN. I am calling a lawyer because the clock does not stop and I am due in April. I guess they are not aware of Texas Administrative code Release of medical records Title 22 Part 9 Chapter 165.

Wouldnt let me bring my 1 year daughter inside even tho the building was 100% empty and we all had masks... They wanted us to sit outside and bake in the sun?Im not sure but I think a baby burning in the sunlight for an hour is probably a little bit worse than a 0.01% chance of spreading covid.Arent healthcare staff supposed to adhere to science? Theres virtually no chance of COVID infection under these circumstances. I walked out because if the staff cant follow common sense CDC guidelines I wouldnt want them to be treating my wife.

Dr. O is great but the admin staff is HORRIBLE. They have no direct number to reach themselves and I have been sending emails for MONTHS and still havent gotten an answer! I am being billed for services that are 100% covered by my insurance because they didnt submit the pre authorization to my insurance company. The screening was done in February....it is now November and I have gotten ZERO answers.

Love Doctor O, she delivered my daughter and I was coming back to her, but was told my daughter wasn’t allowed in the office (she’s been there before, with no issues) so in order to see my Doctor I have to find childcare? I wish I didn’t have to find another OB. Truly saddening.

Go here if you want them to tell you multiple times over the phone they accept your insurance then get to the office and they tell you they dont take it and cant see your newborn. SUPER PROFESSIONAL .

Dr. O is great!! She really takes her time with patients and throughly addresses your concerns. Shes considerate, patient, knowledgeable & has a lovely personality.

Dr. Ekwo was very personal, involved, and caring. Dr. Ekwo and staff were very professional and patient. I did not have a long wait. My appointment was at 12:30 noon back in my car at 12:54. This was a wonderful experience and I would recommend everyone to give Dr. Ekwo a try ; you wont be sorry.

Took my sister to get a check up and they were unprofessional, waited 1 hour for them to see her, turned out they went to lunch after she was checked in so we were waiting clueless to what was going on, then the results were the hardest thing for them to send to us, first the tried forcing us into another appointment so they can charge our Insurance again instead of sending them online through the portal like they said they would, I literally had to tell them if this was life or death my sister would be In trouble, not only that they changed our appointment like 3 times due to them being booked already, whats the point of having a scheduling app if youre gonna have to recall us to reschedule, I ended up having to go elsewhere since apparently our follow up appointment had to be rescheduled again

They never answer the calls, and if the person who answers says they will call you back and you never receive it, or you leave a message on an answering machine that never answers the messages.
