Esperanza Health Center

This clinic is terrible and racist you can’t ever get an appointment and they tell you that you have to make an appointment the first Wednesday of the month. When I called I was hung up on 4 times and the 5th time I called the scheduling receptionist was rude and told me that she couldn’t find my child I.d number in the system which I reassured her the I.d number I gave her was correct she then got quiet and said that she would have someone call me back just to hurry off the phone with me I feel like they only want to have Hispanic patients and no other race in their clinic I would never recommend anyone to go to that clinic

It was my first time having an appointment at this office the doctor was wonderful however I felt uncomfortable because of the staff. when I approached the front desk the lady started to confirm my address without me knowing so I wasnt sure what she was asking of me when she started saying my address. Then she waved her hand to tell me to go to the other room without giving me a clear direction to where I am going, for my first time at this clinic I felt lost and confused, I had to go back to the desk about 3 times just to get clear directions.

The representatives on the phones are so rude. Im trying to get in touch for some very important papers for my son and all they are doing in hanging up on my face while I try to talk. I called 5 times man. Its always something.

Love Esperanza Health Center..I have been coming to the center for years with my children. Awesome that our doctors pray with us.But calling g is horrible the call center really needs help. And its hard to schedule or even get a call back.Also does esperanza have walkin?

Very caring, the doctors are very caring, very attentive, they pray for you, I just love the way the employees are so caring!

I am not sure about these other reviews but I’ve been coming here since I was a child and am now having a child! I always have pleasant experiences with over the phone services, they are kind and efficient. Answering any questions, setting an appointment, etc. Although sometimes the wait for an appointment can be a bit longer than expected it’s always worth it. At my appointment I had many doctors kindly ask me questions, give me personal advice, and make jokes to ensure I was comfortable! Though I will say the only male nurse I’ve seen here made me really uncomfortable and the air felt awkward. Luckily all was forgotten the minute the doctor walked in. I love it here, it’s the best place to go to. All the women make me feel at ease and safe.

The general doctors are great and I feel comfortable when im getting blood work done with the super nice girls. However, The genealogist is racist and just plain disrespectful. Ive never felt more uncomfortable and would never trust her with any medical advice. Some people just should not be in the medical field. Its sad.

Nice place. New and clean facility. Horrible customer service. After calling for an appointment, my wife was told she could come in on Saturday, as a walk-in, between 9a and 10a. Apparently, the same was told to 2 other people who showed up at during this time interval. One, including my wife, had to lose a days work to show up at the clinic. None of those people that showed up at this time interval as a walk-in were treated or attended by a health professional. They had to leave. They were not happy.

Esperanza medical services are more than excellent but the customer service system they have is not client oriented. For more than 8 year setting an appointment is not something simple. The pharmacy has the worst. Zero courtesy.They have a long way of improvements to do. God bless them.

Their doctors care is amazing. Getting a call through to make an appointment or for questions in general is close to impossible. How can you have a call- back number option and never even receive a call back? It’s amazing. You literally have to call and stay on hold for like ever to try and get through. And at that if no one picks up you basically get hung up on after waiting for a long time. I really hope they can work on this, because if not I’m going to end up just having to change clinics for my girls. So sad

Very unhappy, you would think theyre all Christians but they act like theyre better. I had someone hang up on me, then prior I made an appointment to get my blood work results they told me I had to reschedule because they had me with a different doctor. They didnt call me 2 hours prior they waited till I got there to tell me they had to reschedule. Done with this place

Im a patient here for many years already before COVID everything was great but know is so difficult to get any body on the phone or even see a doctor when you most need it I have serious illness and I cant even see a Dr

Friendly and humble personal, they care about you. Peaceful place, the only thing that I dont like is the waiting time for the doctor, the appointment is for a specific hour and you wait 44 to 60 minutes to be seen.

Honestly, a couple of years back the care at esperanza was absolutely the greatest you could find. With so many changes of staff and covid recently things have gone for the worst. Every mess up is blamed on covid. Dont expect to be seen at your scheduled time. Everyones apologies for their lack of consistency is absolutely fake and repetitive basically just to keep what ever left of proffesionalism they can possibly offer. All I ask is to be seen no later than 15-20 mins after my scheduled time unless a prior patient is having an extreme emergency. Hopefully they will organize things a bit better so that no ones time is wasted and patients can be seen and treated within a reasonable time frame.

So normally I don’t leave reviews but since this is a place that deals with pregnant women I thought my post my share some insight.. The providers are great in the sense of praying with you and for your family, however, when it comes to OBGYN they have absolutely no urgency.. when I had cholestasis I was ignored, I knew something was wrong but they didn’t want to run any test and kept telling me it was just pups rash until one night I felt really off and went to Abington hospital and luckily they found out I had cholestasis and I ended up having to deliver my baby. I then ended up with some other issues which again they began to ignore and belittle.. so I decided to part my ways with them and find a better place. Now there is one and only one good provider there and she is very informative and that is DR Wilson, they need more providers like her.. she was the only one who ever listened to my concerns. Unfortunately she’s only OB not a GYN. I hope you guys fix this soon because your pts shouldn’t be ignored.

If I can give Esperanza Health Center 0 stars I would. I love my doctor Dr. Katy Baker BUTTT the center is horrible, they NEVER answer the phone and when they do they don’t have appointments or they say call at 9AM or 2PM to make an appointment but when you call at those times they don’t ever have appointments or they don’t answer, so it’s impossible to make an appointment, the staff is horrible, they really need to get it together. They lost me as a patient.

Want to thank my obgyn doctor. Dr. Faith Pullinger. Best doctor ever. I recommend her she is more than a five star doctor, she is a ten in my eyes. This was my first pregnancy and although I was skeptical about going here, she made me feel very comfortable and was very attentive throughout my whole pregnancy. Thank you dr faith I can’t thank you enough for everything you did.

Staff at front desk is always helpful and smiling. The only downfall is, at least for me. I usually sit and wait to be seen by a doctor for at 30 mins +, but still doctors are amazing.

I give Esperanza Health Center 5 stars its one of the best all the personel was very nice and friendly I feel very confident and yes I will recommend this clinic to everyone. Thanks Speranza you are the best God bless you all

Unfortunately, Ive been coming here too long (almost 15 years). Although they offer many services which is usually ideal, they are incapable being able to handling regular duties. Getting an appointment near impossible. Getting a return callis hit or miss. They argue about not needing a referral, even though its cleary stated as a requirement on the insurance card. After its finally completed, its always wrong. This has caused appointments for specialists to be delayed by 4 hours or canceled. The doctors in general are ok, but not worth it if you can avoid it. This is for both the Kensington & 6th street locations.

They dont really answer phone calls but the care i get from the doctor is 5 stars. Getting an appointment to see her however is alot of work. I have been calling all day to get placed on hold then sent to an unavailable voice mail box after all that waiting.

Mostly wonderful and extremely helpful staff, except for a few that are very arrogant/ racist towards those of other cultures, but I guess thats becoming the norm in our society these days. However be careful of serious miscommunication between departments which can cause you to get a lot of misinformation.

I would recommend this office to everyone.. I have one of the best doctors in there.. She always follower up wit me to make sure everything is good..she shows & pays good attention to all my problems & concerns.. Would give it a 5 stars but at times the waiting is long..

Very good! The doctors are nice and friendly. The doctors and staff are also bilingual. The facility is clean and has their own parking lot.

Super clean and the employees are very nice. My doctor is very kind and gives me resources when i have questions.

Horrible place not only the wait is long but the staff are so unprofessional always have an attitude specially the ones in the call center and girls in the front desk, also makes no sense that they make you call at a certain time for appoiments. I called for appt at 9 am the lady told me to call back at 2 I called exactly at 1:59 for the same appt by the time I got someone to answer it was 2:05 and the appt was taking I had to wait 2 months to see my doctor who by the way is the only reason my I went there.

I give Esperanza health a five star rating because I have a special needs brother, and everyone treat him, Oh so well, thank GOD!

As a disabled combat veteran, anything is better than the VA hospital but my PCP is awesome and doesnt treat you like just number...Outstanding personnel.

I always come and the CRNP and M.A are always so welcoming. However the very unprofessional personal in the windows and front office are so rude and dont even seem like they want to work..

Nice nurses and doctors here, everyone was very polite when I came to get my covid vaccine.

Its ok needs improvement on getting back to patients at an appropriate time when a message is left or answering phones in general

Hi I will rate Esperanza health as one of the worst place to take your children too. Every time I need an appoint me or need urgent help no one never answers the phone. I’ve been calling for hours.

Great location. They are currently offering Covid-19 vaccines for their high risk patients.

I like the care that they give BUT it’s almost impossible to make an appointment! I’ve been calling for about two hours and have even done their call back system and nothing 🤦🏽‍♀️

Very bad service, the worst when it comes to scheduling an appointment is horrible

The service is good but they are too slow, one lasts up to 1 hour and a half waiting for them to look at you and I see that they stand for a long time doing nothing and they never arrive on time, which is what I do, wasting the whole day in a place like this. I bring my daughter here for the language but I will take her to another place to come here is to lose a day of your life
