MiDoctor - Walk-in Urgent Care & Primary Care - Upper East Side

Brought my patient in here today for stitches and have no regrets at all. You don’t have to wait a long time, everything was clean and organized, everyone was friendly. plus, Dr. Danielle (couldn’t spell her last name right) with Debbie were awesome; they were so quick and thorough in treating my patient. Would definitely recommend everyone to come in here

THIS is what an urgent care is supposed to be. I went in for travelers food poisoning and was seen quickly and given appropriate care. The doctor and team are all very competent and efficient. This was single-handedly the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had!

Dr. Palli and medical assistant Debbie were amazing. They were personable and kind with great bedside manner. Debbie took my blood and it didn’t hurt at all, and Dr. Palli answered all of my questions. I will definitely be using them as my primary care clinic from now on because they made me feel super safe and taken care of. Thank you, MiDoctor!

Awful customer service. Doctor told me a prior authorization would be sent that day. Pharmacy sent them the forms the same day and was told to wait a week. I call a week later and they lie and say the pharmacy just sent the forms, which I know is not the case (i have time stamped messages). It is an extremely important med I need and they dont care. I called and they are rude and clueless. I would avoid this place at absolute all costs. They are absolutely clueless

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! THE GIRL AT THE FIRST DESK IS A RACIST MISERABLE HUMAN BEING WITH ZERO EMPATHY. AND SHES SPANISH HERSELF LIKE ME BUT NOTHING BUT A RACIST! SHE HAS BLACK HAIR AND GLASSES! I WALKED IN AND SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. I HAD AN URGENT VISIT AND I HAVE 2 TYPES OF Insurances that they clearly take Because it’s on the website and I confirmed it. She had to text her manager to ask if they accepted it. I have Worker’s Comp which they accept everywhere But out of all places, not here?!!! Something is not right. Then a Caucasian man walks out and she was so nice and Polite with him. It’s a shame because I work in the health care field my self and to see how it’s gone downhill it’s heartbreaking. I walked in being very nice and polite and got hit with an attitude. I feel 100% discriminated!!! STAY AWAYYY FROM THIS PLACE THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!

Compared to our experience at City MD which was 10/10, this practice was unpleasant to say the least. The waiting room was empty, cleanish and the solitary receptionist was fine, pleasant but not particularly welcoming. It took quite a long time to be assessed considering the place was empty. The nurse was in the wrong profession! She not only showed zero empathy, but seemed annoyed to have to treat me. Her behaviour and demeanour were so rude and disengaged, that I had to ask her if her bad day was impacting her treatment of me, and then I had to send my husband to request a new nurse. From the minute I hobbled in to the room, she glared at me as if to tell me to hurry up, she didnt speak other than to tell me to sit. She didnt address me as an injured patient, or even as a fellow human being. When I asked her if her grumpy day was affecting her work, she simply stared at me.Dr Alex came in to take over and he was lovely. He did apologise for the nurses treatment of me. My leg was checked, but the nurse hadnt left the results of my pulse and blood pressure check, and nobody asked me whether I was on any medications other than blood thinners. The bandage provided by the doctor was damaged in the opening of the package, but still applied. I would have preferred a new undamaged bandage for the $250 cost of the appointment, but that was not offered.I would NOT recommend this medical practice.

The service is amazing. Easy to book the appointment. The staff are super friendly and patient. Dr PALLI and team asked me detailed questions about how I feel and provided prescription and good advice. Would definitely recommend someone if helpful

I have taken my medically complicated son to this practice twice in the past few months. Both times the whole experience has been exceptional. Front desk friendly and efficient. Nurses friendly, calm and reassuring to my son who is autistic and experiences high anxiety at medical facilities. Doctor both times experienced and practical with compassionate patient manner. No long wait time. Clean and comfortable waiting area and exam rooms. Highly recommend.

Good, clean place. Dr Zhang was very understanding and answered all my questions patiently. My only complaint was the long wait time. Once I was checked in, the nurse came to check my vitals and said the Dr would be in shortly. I ended up waiting close to 40 mins for the doctor to come see me. It seemed like they were having a busy morning so I understand.

This is the worst doctors office I have ever been to. They did not inform me that the doctor was not going to show up twice—making me go all that way for nothing “most people don’t care,” they said. They do not take feedback at all. The vm isnt set up so hope to call when they’re not busy, and when you reach them they put you on hold anyway. One Saturday, they made me wait 3 hours bc I was late even within the grace period. there is a delay or issue in prescription every .single . time. And now worse, which is finally pushing me over the edge, they have charged me $350 out of nowhere without even telling me about it upfront. I would never go to a visit if I knew they were going to charge me out of pocket. Dr cohen is very nice and the office has a great first impression. This office is good for quick visit NOT to set as PCP or long term patients.

I went there because I had Covid, I live out of town and was very concerned. The place was super nice and Dr. Lipovic was very caring...highly recommend this place

Everyone including receptionist, doctor, and xray tech were attentive, thorough, and caring. They addressed all my concerns. I was seen and given results promptly. Highly recommend.

Best Doctor Down the Street - I have the finest doctors and specialists at Mount Sinai, Weill Cornell and in the UES. When I have the immediate problems or vaccination needs, MiDoctor is efficient and Dr. Zhang was kind, understanding and resolved my treatment immediately. Wonderful.

Visit was very efficient with almost no waiting, and I was quickly seen by Dr. Christina Zhang. She diagnosed my condition and wrote several prescriptions. Took less than 30 mins of my time total.

Clean and visually pleasing clinic. Dr. Cohen is amazing. He takes his time with patients, explains everything very well, and address any questions and concerns that a patient may have. The medical assistants and front desk staff are very attentive. Thank you!

While I’ve had some good visits there, I will never use them again. They ordered me a CT scan haphazardly without doing any bloodwork first, making me extremely panicked about what was wrong. They wrote the CT scan prescriptions wrong TWICE as they were missing pertinent information. I still don’t have accurate prescriptions for the scans because they won’t answer my emails. And then they wouldn’t provide health insurance authorization for the scans. So I can’t even get them in the end. But I consulted with my regular doctor who said it seems like an unnecessary next step. Just reckless.

Dr. Cohen and the team at MiDoctor were great. I was able to quickly and easily get an appointment for an emergency situation. They quickly diagnosed my issues, confirmed it with tests and set up a plan that resulted in a quick recovery.

The only place that really had online appointments available on ZocDoc last minute on Saturday morning (the rest of place have them “available” but then call you to say it was a mistake in the system). Everything was quick, staff was nice, PA was knowledgeable.

Booked appointment, taken at exact time. Actually saw two doctors, as one had radiology expertise to complement his colleague. Compassionate, professional, active listening, efficient and very clearly explained diagnosis and course of action.

I came in about 10:45 am and was able to be seen by a doctor about 15-20 minutes after my arrival. The doctor was highly knowledgeable and was able to get me a prescription to clear up my chest and nasal congestion quickly at a local pharmacy. We were so impressed we returned with our grandson later that evening and the same resourceful doctor diagnosed and prescribed a medicine for him. We would highly recommend MiDoctor to anyone needing quick medical attention.

I stepped on a piece of glass that went deep inside my skin. I was bleeding like crazy, but Laura treated the wound, ensured me there was no glass still inside, patched me up and gave me a tetanus shot for good measure

And only a few minutes later, Dr. Muneeb Khan came into the room. Dr. Khan was wonderful. Besides his professionalism and obvious knowledge, he was personable, caring, kind, and extremely empathic. He took my situation seriously and did everything necessary to help me. And help me he did. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at MiDoctor of the Upper East Side. Im grateful.

This clinic is legitimately the best medical experience I have ever had: from their streamlined online booking/reporting system to the professionalism of their doctors, nurses, and administrators. It is a pleasure to work with a clinic that opens on time, entertains walk-ins, and treats their patients with respect.They have multiple locations around the city but the reason this location gets a review is because of Egzona: the sweetest and most hard working person I have ever come across in a clinic setting. The Mi-Doctor midtown 9th Ave office is convenient for me as it is near my job. The primary waiting area is beautiful & bright. Front desk staff are friendly and fast. The nurses and docs are always kind and on spec. I am glad to have easy access to this office.

Awful!!! Dr. Zhang has the concern of a misquote and does not follow through nor does she have a clue what any Insurance covers. I stupidly trusted her and BOUGHT $28.00 Vitamin D/ 10 gels total at the pharmacy across the street & took the RX she said had NO SIDE EFFECTS - but I got violently ill right after from the medicine! What a mess. She also promised my test results would be back the following day so I returned to have her advise me and read the results and - NOPE! NO results and she hardly remembered me from the previous day! I would not recommend any Urgent care as they are unreliable and limited and mostly ET doctors who are very compartmentalised. No way would I go back there.

Wonderful experience at MiDoctor. The facility is spotless..Receptionist is very sweet. My husband was seen within minutes by Dr. Daniela Lipovic who impressed us as being knowledgeable, kind and caring. She prescribed treatment which helped immediately. Overall, we highly recommend MiDoctor and Dr. Lipovic.

I can’t thank Dr Palli and his team enough. I came in so sick and they treated me like family. This is the best clinic on the upper east. You can also book appointments in advance. It’s clean and fast and professional.

I went to MiDoctor feeling unwell and had a suspicion it was Covid. It was my first visit there so I checked in, scanned my license, scanned my insurance card and filled out my other information. The process was smooth from start to finish and the staff was very professional, accommodating, and personable. I liked Dr. Palli very much. I will definitely go back there next time I need to.

Have only in been in for Covid and flu shots. They were easy, quick, simple and no appt was needed (a real bonus). What more could you ask for?Very clean premises and the staff was courteous. The medical people also seemed knowledgeable and eager to help.I would definitely come back for a sick or emergency visit.

Pleasant space but hated the awful children’s tv program that was playing in the waiting room and the as impossible to get away from. The doctor was excellent and explained everything very coherently. Medications were timely called in to the pharmacy. I would definitely return.

Thanks to Urgent Care my 99 year old mother was seen immediately and given antibiotics to stop her infection. She got a PC test as well as a prescription to get a chest x-ray to rule out a pneumonia and covid.In a few days she is back on her feet ready to enjoy the holiday season with family and friends ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve been here a few times and had same day blood testing and timely results back as well as scheduling for same day imaging. These were separate occasions.The imaging showed appendicitis and I had surgery before further complications. They really practice as an urgent care—compared to an experience I had at another well known chain who set me up for a GI referral 2 months away with their affiliated hospital. No imaging- no earlier GI appointment??? They were not urgent about my care.

Honestly, one of the best doctors visits I’ve had. Was finished with my general check up in 30 minutes, set up my next appt, was recommended a therapy group, and began Prep. Clean, everyone was nice easy to get to. A+

Just ok, depends a lot on the doctor you get. My first doctor was unclear, abrupt, and socially inappropriate. My second was great. MAs and front desk are always great. They’ll ask you to book a virtual appointment after your visit just to have your results read to you - so they can bill your insurance twice. Seems very revenue driven, but otherwise solid care and was able to be seen quickly.

I have never been to such a nice urgent care in my life. The people staff doctors are very pleasant Egzona was so nice when i came in with a stomach pain took my info and signed me in, next thing i know not even 5min later i was being taken care of. If your in a rush and not feeling well this is the place to be.

This practice was well-run and highly professional. Have been to other “urgent care” facilities and have had less-than-stellar experiences. Dr. Zhang was terrific. Highly recommend her.

I am so happy that I fell into this place by accident when I was headed to another care facility. The place is so appealing, so fresh and new, it sparkles. Even better is the staff. They are calm, gracious, efficient and make you feel as if you are visiting someones home. I had the added benefit of a follow up call. I dont even get that from my own physician. Ive gone several times. If you need medical care and your own physician is not available, this is the place to go.

When I walked in I greeted by the receptionist Destiny who greeted my husband and myself with a beautiful smile. She was very helpful and guided us both through the process of checking in. The nurse and doctor were just as wonderful and helpful in answering any questions we had. Great place to go when you are sick.

Great friendly service, I needed some attention to a bout of inflammation in my foot. Doctor handled me quickly and efficiently and went the extra mile.

Went to an appointment at this location. Employees were late to work and when asked about insurance coverage - they informed me my visit and tests would be covered under my plan, and that my costs would simply be the co-pay which turned out to be incorrect. The facility is potentially costing me hundreds of dollars because their employees couldn’t provide correct information about what insurance plans are accepted (something they are legally required to do).

When CVS & Walgreens offered no appointments for 2 weeks for a Covid vaccine I called MiDoctor. They said “come on in- we have them!” The staff was so friendly, the office was clean and I was seen by a doctor. Will definitely go back for any future needs!

I booked an appointment here for a standard annual physical. They called me and confirmed my insurance and the appointment time. When I reached the office a few minutes before my appointment time, they were closed and wouldnt answer the phone. Very unprofessional for very simple scheduling and a waste of time.

Dr. Zhang was great! Dr. Zhang sent the prescription right away and sent me to see an eye doctor right away. She was amazing. I really appreciate to her.

Total waste of time. I can’t speak on medical attention since I wasn’t even seen. I was told prior to coming that I would have to personally call my insurance to get an authorization. I’m not in the healthcare field so I thought it would be something straight forward. Usually, I see the administrative staff call insurance without requiring me to do so, so I thought it was off but didn’t think too much of it. I called my insurance and explained what I was asked to do. My insurance quickly replied that it’s my primary doctor that has to call — not me. So, my visit was a total waste of time since I would still need to be seen at primary to get a referral. I was given incorrect instructions. I got up and left since my time is valuable. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect administrative staff to be competent in giving instructions to patients. Training is necessary for every field! Please do your part.

Dr Zang is my primary doctor at midoctor and we have a very good rapport and she is usually there when I need her which helps not having to make appointments all the time 2 to 3 weeks ahead

Such a wonderful place!! After searching all day for someplace offering the bivalent booster, I was so happy to stumble upon MiDoctor. The staff I met up front (Myriam, Nicole, and Sejla) were so kind and positive and PA Ellen was wonderful and efficient. Would definitely recommend!!

I arrived on a Saturday morning just before the facility opened. The receptionist took my documents, swapped my nostrils and immediately processed the test. Within a few minutes I was told I didnt have COVID. Ill be receiving additional info tomorrow,Vert professional.

The waiting room was very inviting and the receptionist Destiny was very friendly and helpful. I completed my registration with her help and was seen by a doctor for my Covid vaccine within five minutes. The facility is clean and very easy to navigate.

I came for a Covid 19 vaccine...and asked them to be sure that my covid test is negative. They quickly tested me...told me I was negative and gave me the shot. Wonderful service and lovely drs.

Visited this new location for the skin issue, called reception in the morning to see if they can put me in any time slots they currently have, Destiny was v nice and helped to find the spot for me. Dr. Zhang was very professional and nice, even it’s not my first time visit. It was a good experience, but hopefully wont come back with other issues…..:)

If you are looking for a local Doctor for travel medicine, this is a place to go. I looked at the other travel medicine clinics, which were extraordinarily expensive, and took a while to get me in. I walked in here and was seen right away. The MiDoctor doctor who saw me took the time to go to the CDC website to make sure I was getting everything that I needed and nothing that I didn’t. Thank you again!

I was in Manhattan, visiting my daughter during the holidays, and sliced my finger badly. Feeling very silly about having cut myself cooking and how crazy-much it hurt, I almost didnt go, but knew I needed help. Dr. Zhang, Sejla, and Camara were wonderful and so kind and reassuring. Dr. Zhang was especially thoughtful and took all the time needed to talk with me, reassure me, and deal with the wound. Additionally, the clinic is beautiful and looks more like a spa than a medical facility, which helps you feel more comfortable and relaxed when youre feeling anything but. Id give 10 stars if possible but five is the maximum option.

I have had 3 visits and it is very clean and the doctors are goodespecially if your doctor doesnt have office hours

I had a positive PCR result. No one told me that can happen after one had covid a month or more ago. It really messed me up until I spike to my Dr. I dont have covid, the test was misleading and led me to cancel work and made my day a mess.

Egzona at front desk was super nice. All staff was friendly, nurse/medical asst and physician super nice. I was the only person when I walked in. Place looks A+ definitely recommend. I went in with flu symptoms and was taken care of 👌🏼

Moving my daughter to NY from AZ is already a hard situation and so many places we went to were rude and unhelpful. But this place not only got us in right in and was so nice and helpful. Last month, while visiting NYC, one of our friends had a severe peanut allergy and started having difficulty breathing. We were near MIDoctor Health so ran inside looking for help. The staff responded immediately and were extremely professional, patient, and kind while treating our friend.

We waited just a few minutes and I got my COVID booster and my husband got his cut finger checked and then a tetanus shot efficiently and easily.

Professional and quick. Everyone also had a great demeanor and attitude which made it all that much better.... not to mention the coffee.

I got a same day appointment and was seen very quickly. The Doctor knew exactly what to prescribe, and it is working.

It was a cool, safe, environment 10/10 my appointment went smoothly excellent staff and destiny was very funny.
