I made a new patient appointment on ZocDoc with Katie Sharp. The day after I made the appointment, I received a call from the office and spoke to someone named Tiffany who let me know that the provider was actually fully booked that day and wanted to see if they could reschedule me and we quickly found an opening for next week without issue.Today, however, I receive a call from someone named Jenny who called to let me know that I had missed my appointment. I explained that someone had called me from the office and rescheduled me the day prior. She sounded extremely annoyed on the phone about the situation and missed appointment when it was a miscommunication amongst themselves as front desk staff.I was looking forward to establishing care but will not as the first step of customer service - making an appointment - was disorganized and disappointing.

I have my baby with Dr Theil and Dr Dupervale just over 2 years ago via c section and honestly the whole experience was amazing. I am nervous by nature and they were absolutely amazing and helped ease my nerves. The bedside manner was unmatchable , so loving and caring and just wonderful. And my c section scar is super low and barely visible. It was honestly a great great experience. I also saw every doctor there through my pregnancy and everyone was thorough and great, I only have amazing things to say. And lastly, I was always able to get ahold of a doctor on call if I was ever worried about anything. Truly amazing experience and I couldnt have asked for a better one

Doctor Duperval was amazing. She was very thorough and had a lot of knowledge. I had a great experience. The only thing I didn’t like was the delay with my test results. No one called me. Nor was a sent a link to an online portal to access them. I had to called to get my results after 3 weeks.

I had an exceptional experience during my recent visit to my OBGYN. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff, who were incredibly helpful and efficient. The medical assistants ensured that my appointment ran smoothly, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the process.My nurse practitioner, Katie Sharp, was truly outstanding. She exhibited professionalism, compassion, and a thorough understanding of my needs. Her attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly made me feel confident in the care I was receiving.Additionally, Nancy, another member of the team, provided excellent support and assistance. Her kindness and expertise contributed to the overall positive atmosphere of the clinic.Overall, I couldnt be more pleased with my experience. The combination of a welcoming front desk, competent medical assistants, and exceptional care from Katie Sharp and Nancy makes this OBGYN practice stand out. It has taken me a while to write this review but i feel compelled to write it because my experience with this office SHOULD NOT repeat itself with any other patient. I initially went to this office as a recommendation from my doctor and even after doing exhaustive research, I decided to go with them. It was truly the worst mistake I ever made! I felt it in my gut and so did my baby every single time i went. There were times when my blood pressure was high just sitting there! The service was truly awful from beginning to end until I ended switching providers and going elsewhere because i truly feared for my life and the life of my baby. I did not feel safe or cared for at all. One of the receptionist (an unmentionable) constantly forgot to write things down like appointments, calls I made in where I needed the doctor to call me back, refill prescription, or even to send proper paperwork/lab results to an upcoming appointment she had scheduled on my behalf. I spoke with one of the doctors Duperval who said would inform the office manager but the issues continued even after. Mind you the office manager never called or inquired clearly NOT caring at all. During my time there i only saw three doctors Duperval, Shahim, and Wu. All very nice but some seldom review the charts before seeing the patient. I had to repeat and recollect information even though this was already in the chart. It also seems like they hire newbies and do not train them. One of the staff, Nancy is amazing! She is very nice and gets things done as well as Cali. If you want to be heard, seen, acknowledged, stress free pregnancy, and have adequate top notch care during your pregnancy this place is NOT IT! Please do your research and if you don’t like your ongoing treatment go elsewhere.

New offices are very chic and warm and welcoming. Congrats to the group. Dr Duperval and her team are simply wonderful. My annual was clear, concise and quick! She has an excellent proactive stance on any issues I might have: perfect for a woman approaching 60 yrs old. I highly recommend Dr Duperval for all your gyno needs.

The care at Manhattan Women’s Health is personal and genuine. I always leave feeling cared for, heard and respected. Their staff members, especially Camille, are professional, compassionate and easy to work with.I see Katie Sharp. She is knowledgeable, patient and attentive and makes me feel confident and empowered to manage any health concerns.I hate going to the doctor and always dread it for the weeks leading up to the appointment, but this whole office makes me feels at ease. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was referred to practice by my PCP who spoke highly of the practice. Unfortunately I was disappointed with professionalism of front desk staff, along with medical staff. They were unwelcoming and dismissive towards me and my concerns.

Manhattan Women’s Health has been very professional, informative and encouraging throughout my wife and I first pregnancy at 19 weeks. The doctors and nurses we have seen are patient and answer all our questions.Thus far we’ve had Dr. Theil (whose totally awesome) and Dr. Duperval (who was very caring). We will keep you updated throughout our experience.

So grateful to have found this place! I went to my first visit with Dr. Melissa Duperval and loved her. I immediately sent her info to friends as it is hard to find an OBGYN like her these days. She treated me as a human, looked at me in the eye, answered questions, compassionate, caring.. the way things should be. Staff were all helpful and caring. So happy to have found Manhattan Womens Health and Dr. Duperval.

I had a fantastic experience at Manhattan Womens Health. It was my first time visiting the office and everyone was so kind. I was seen by Dr. Duperval who really took the time to hear about my concerns. She made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. Jen was fantastic with drawing my blood and Camille was incredibly helpful with scheduling out my next appointments.

This place is just ok. I can see the benefit of having a smaller group of doctors to rotate through and work with during pregnancy. Dr Wu’s bedside manner is very caring and gentle. However, when I reflect on my time coming to this clinic I feel quite unsatisfied. The front office staff is (overall) low quality: i realized this after switching to Columbia Doctors where the receptionists were organized, knowledgeable and helpful. More importantly after two miscarriages I was, in my view prematurely, referred to a fertility specialist who was honestly horrible. A glorified salesman who charged me $600 just to have a conversation. The fact that they would send me there left a bad taste in my mouth.

The best team of doctors you could ask for, as well as the nicest nursing and front desk staff. I just delivered my first baby with Dr. Wu and it couldn’t have gone smoother. Every doctor in the practice that I saw throughout my pregnancy was amazing and I knew I’d be in great hands no matter who relieved my baby. Throughout my pregnancy, anytime I needed anything, the front desk team was so on top of it… I never had to worry about anything (especially Camille!) There’s no other place I’d rather go.

Had the best experience with Manhattan Women’s Health during my first pregnancy. I liked all the doctors and nurses I saw throughout my pregnancy, they are patient and answer all questions. As a first time mom I had lots! Dr. Duperval made labor and delivery a really positive experience. Could not have asked for a better doctor. She kept me informed the whole time and I felt very supported. Would highly recommend!

I have missed this place, now that I’”m back it”s so much better the customer service I received went above and beyond Thank You Tiffany you made my transition back smooth sailing and made me feel right at home !!!!!PS. I tell EVERYONE about my doctors office !!!!!

I usually see Dr. Gavrilman, for the past few years, who I have liked and the office called me the day of to say that she was out sick the day, and would I mind seeing another doctor? I said that is fine. They did not tell me I would be seeing a male doctor, Dr. Shahim, and I do not like seeing male gyns. Dr. Shahim seemed like he was in a rush, answered my questions vaguely, I had to remind him twice to look at something, and was dismissive to any complaints.I would never see Dr. Shahim again. He was dismissive, didnt explain anything, and left me scared with questions. This was a horrible experience.

Manhattan Women’s Health has made all of the difference in navigating through 3 pregnancies and everything in between. After moving further away from the practice, I had to return regardless of distance as their bedside manner and level of care was a hard act to follow. I appreciate the careful way they have approached 3 C sections and are fully engaged each and every step of the way to be sure everything is comfortable and safe. When the office is closed over the weekend, the doctors on call are responsive when issues arise. Each doctor and nurse brings expertise and a high level of excellence to each and every situation. I cannot recommend MWH enough and will always be deeply appreciative of their care for myself and my babies.

Just had my first visit to Manhattan Woman’s Health with Dr. Dupreval. She is amazing! Everyone who works in the office is so nice. They made me feel really comfortable & at ease. I appreciate their services! My only suggestion is that they put a cool design on the ceiling. Since patients have to look up, it would be pretty cool to have an awesome view. 😎👍🏾⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve been going to this office for a few years and have seen both Flavia Theil and Katie Sharp. Both are wonderful and compassionate and warm. Katie Sharp is the best of the best. She is very kind and thorough. She always sits down and takes the time to listen to me and discuss my options in depth. She never rushes through appointments and she explains everything. I appreciate that she always goes above and beyond to help me out. She always calls and follows up and is so easy to reach whenever I need anything. I’ve seen many providers who are great during the appointment but impossible to reach any other time. I never have a problem reaching this office and if Katie is around she even takes the time to speak to me herself. The receptionists are always helpful and deal with my insurance company whenever something comes up so I don’t have to stress about it. This is definitely the best office I’ve ever been to. I would highly recommend it!

Manhattan Women’s Health is THE BEST. I’ve been a patient for many years and have seen almost all of the providers in the practice and each one of them is amazing. Not only are they thorough during my visits, but they also go out of their way to research my medical issues and help me find the best solutions.Everyone who works there from the office staff, nurses to doctors are warm and friendly and always make me feel so comfortable being there. HIGHLY recommend!

Very caring, knowledgeable and professional doctors and nurse practitioners. The staff in general is very friendly, helpful and responsive. Have been going here for 4 years through incredibly difficult medical issues stemming from all sorts of ovarian and uterine growths, pain and bleeding and I couldn’t have asked for better care.

Absolutely avoid at all costs if you are a patient who doesn’t wish to be pregnant. I was just treated in the most vile and unforgivable way by this practice after being a patient for about three years. I experienced birth control failure and called in to speak to the doctor on call about what I should do as I have very severe migraines and have been warned by my practitioner there, Katie Sharp (a nurse practitioner who regularly sees patients), several times that I have a severe stroke risk and have to be careful about hormones. I was told by the answering service that there was a note that only patients of the two DOCTORS at the practice were to ever have access to emergency help from their practitioners. Apparently this was so serious that the answering service told me they put in literally TWO notes written to them that anyone else will not be responded to, don’t put the calls through. Absolutely disgusting behavior that jeopardizes my life and autonomy, as waiting to get an emergency contraceptive could end up with getting pregnant against my will. Should that happen I will be pursuing legal action. Vile negligence on their part and an absolutely despicable way to treat a long time patient. Every patient at this practice should know what could happen to them if they stay, and this policy should be immediately reversed. Also the answering service was extremely compassionate and not to blame for this practice’s disgusting and abusive phone call policy.

This was such a bad experience and definitely not the place to go for first time moms. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, and even hung up when I said I was frustrated with my bad experience. The place is dirty, expect a 30 min delay for each appointment, doctors are not very friendly and the approach overall is not patient-focused. They do not review your medical notes well, so I constantly had to keep discussing my pregnancy losses which is pretty traumatic. I also had a nurse come into the room and say “I see you don’t have a Pap smear so we’ll do one today, ok.” It wasn’t a question, there was NO CONSENT. If I was shy or didn’t know how to advocate for myself they would have done it with me not being ok with it at all! In fact I had one done 1 year prior if they’d looked at my records! Lab results take several days and they never tell you the info - you have to chase them. I told them I was leaving to a different OBGYN and suddenly I got bills as they filed them incorrectly. Choose anywhere but here!

Manhattans Women’s Health is an incredible OBGYN. I have found everyone to be so helpful and knowledgeable, and above all, kind. I went thru a scary time when I was pregnant with my second child and the staff made me feel so calm and comfortable. The Drs are excellent, and their nurses and receptionists go above and beyond to be accommodating. I would highly recommend.

Would never recommend this place, especially if you are doing prenatal or having a baby. As soon as you find out you are pregnant they talk to you as if you are going to miscarry at any moment, they tell you not to celebrate and start talking options in case the baby dies inside of you immediately. I couldnt hear my baby heart beat on week 6 and instead of explaining to me that its normal, they made it sound like I should go home and wait to lose the baby. That is not how a first time mom should be treated.Also if you leave the practice to find a better doctor, they submit wrong requests to your insurance so you have to pay for all the appointments and tests.Front desk people are really nice.

Katie Sharp is amazing. Shes kind, sweet and genuinely cares about you. She always takes the time to hear me out, listens, and she cares about whats going on in my life and especially my two boys. Shes not just my NP, shes become my friend. Anyone looking for a practice that actually cares about you, this is it. The front desk staff are just as kind, seeet, caring and are always willing to help you.

Manhattan Women’s health is a unique practice with a number of caring professionals. Ive been seen by all the doctors but mainly Dr. Theil. Networking with doctors to get the best care possible is very important, as it has always been a challenge for women to find a doctor they can connect with, Dr. Theil, Dr. Gavrilman, Dr. Duperval, Dr. Shahim and Dr Wu, are all very knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, charismatic and the best group physicians I have ever encountered.

I went to the Fort Washington location and as a former patient of the Park Ave location, there is a stark difference in the professionalism and treatment of patients. The receptionist was rude and dismissive and suggested I go to a clinic as a result of a change in my insurance. I won’t be returning for any reason.

Katie was incredibly caring, understanding, and thorough. I will definitely be returning to Manhattan Women’s Health for all of my gynecological concerns.

Not the medical team to have a baby. Changed doctors when was 7 months pregnant. On every appointment you see a different doctor (plus students or practitioners invited), when I asked not to rotate anymore they said it would cost more. Not the kind of treatment for are expecting. Sometimes it felt not all of them carefully reviewed your medical record, the appointments seemed to be me following up on all possible matters instead of doctors giving feedback.

I had a pretty traumatic experience at this doctors office. Was going in to get a biopsy, which I was already very nervous about. My primary care physician had recommended Dr. Theils office for this, and when I booked my appointment I made sure that my pap results had been faxed over in advance, per their instructions. When I show up two weeks later for my appointment, the first thing the nurse does is takes me in to room and very bluntly states, so did you fax over your pap results? we dont have anything. I assure her my doctor sent them, but call my dr office to double check in the meantime. The nurse makes me go back out in to the waiiting room to do this call. Of course my dr office is closed for the day (it was a Friday). So, I ask the nurse if the doctor can still perform the biopsy since Ive been waiting weeks to see the doctor, and Ill make sure the results from my pap get sent first thing Monday. The nurse very rudely replies with no. the doctor will not perform a biospy without the results. sorry. At this point, Im extremely frustrated and apalled to be treated so roughly. I ask the nurse if I can please speak to the doctor privately. Meanwhile, the stress I was feeling and frustration made me tear up and they put me in a room to wait for the doctor. 15 minutes later she comes in, says she does not have the results, but sees how upset I am and finally agrees to at least perform the biospy. Afterwards, I send a message to my primary care doctor via her online message portal, and she calls right away to say that the results HAD been faxed weeks prior to my appointment. Overall, the experience was terrible and Dr. Theils nurses have zero bedside manner. Do not expect to be treated kindly or gently at their office. When I spoke with my primary care doctor about this, she admitted I wasnt the first of her patients who had mentioned being treated badly by that office, and that she wouldnt be recommending her anymore. Hopefully someone else can learn from my experience and go elsewhere.

If you are looking for an OB that will be the one delivering your baby, look elsewhere. All OBs share patients. The doctor you see may be the doctor that delivers, you are transferred around seeing their partners and not having that individual care that you want.The staff is extremely offensive. Working in the medical field myself, I must say they need to rehire their front desk staff. The medical assistants are great but the front desk staff needs to be revamped, down to the office manager who takes care of the authorizations. She does not know what she s doing at all.

Excellent practice. They truly take care of you and are extremely attentive. Dr. Duperval is the best GYN and OB I’ve ever had.

This is by far one of the best , most thorough visits to a doctors office I’ve been to in a while. I highly recommend!Dr. Anat and her amazing staff were wonderful. They were patient, understanding and very helpful. I did not feel rushed and I left feeling informed.

My wife had to switch providers after seeing doctor gavrilman at 12 weeks prenatal. At her visit she was told she should watch her weight gain, was given a pamphlet of diet plans and told that she will most likely have a c section due to size of the baby. (Our first was a 9+ pounder born vaginally). Since when do providers decide on c section one due to size and two at 12 weeks?!

Dr. Duperval is very warm, professional who makes you feel like you are more than just a patient. After looking for an OBGYN for over a year I am so happy to have found this doctor!

I really like Dr. Duperval. She’s attentive, makes time to hear your concerns and listens well. The appointment begins with a conversation in her office followed by an exam. I liked that model.

Katie is thorough, caring and spends lots of time with me every time I come in. She is supportive of my choices and gives me all options without any bias. A great provider!
