Dr. Carrasco is very caring and likes to joke. However, he will address your questions and explain everything in an easy way. The office is doing their best to get you in and out.

Everything about the appt. was excellent. To start, the office is very comfortable and attractive with plenty of comfy seating. My entire visit + ultrasound went like clock-work with only a few minites wait in-between. Dr. Carrasco is just the way you want a doctor to be - personal, personable and totally professional. I cannot recommend Dr Carrasco and the practice highly enough. It’s clear everyone there is there for the patients. The wait times are short, the staff works well together, they are kind, and they are compassionate.I was anxious for a procedure because my old gyno from a different practice made it traumatic, but Dr Carrasco and his staff were so reassuring and took steps to make sure I was okay. They talked me through it, made jokes to keep me distracted, and allowed me to squeeze the nurse’s hand when I needed to.I knew I was in the best hands, not just because Dr Carrasco cared but because he had the expertise. Been going to Dr. Carrasco for years now and he’s been the best GYN I’ve ever had. He treats you as one of his own family members, listens to your needs and makes you feel comfortable while you’re there! I’ve had a few health issues and he’s been able to help, guide and treat my health concerns - something that I struggled to find in previous doctors

Even though he is swamped with work his beside manner is great. The process was fairly quick but thorough. Be prepared to wait a little (bring a portable charger)because he’s good at his job.

THE PROS are that Its true that Dr. Carrasco has impeccable beside manner, hes caring and attentive and has the most angelic touch. Im someone who is super squeamish around needles and blood due to a childhood trauma. But when he drew my blood, I barely felt the needle go in and out. He was also very gentle and kind during my Pap smear.THE CONS:1. He has way too many patients to the point where I waited over TWO hours to be seen during my last visit.2. Dr. Carrasco prescribed me the wrong medication. He prescribed me medication for a yeast infection when it turns out I actually have BV. The lab results from my exam with Dr. Carrasco have yet to come back. But I found out I have BV from taking a second exam with a different doctor whose lab results were posted within the same day. What a difference! Its crazy he has me taking yeast infection pills when I didnt even have a yeast infection.3. The nurses who work with Dr. Carrasco also arent the best. One nurse tried to draw my blood and couldnt get any blood out. Ive never had that happen to me before. When she finally took the needle out, I looked down and saw a pool of blood, I nearly passed out.4. My next issue is that when I called about questions regarding a potential fibroid surgery, the nurse was very rude and said Dr. Carrasco isnt in the business of guessing. In my opinion, that was a very nasty way of saying we dont know and her attitude and lack of information about the procedure did not make me feel comfortable about scheduling a SURGERY with him. I went to see a different doctor for a second opinion on my fibroid treatment and in contrast she patiently answered EVERY question I had and didnt make me feel like any of my questions were dumb or unwarranted. I got SO much more information about fibroids, fibroid surgery and different treatment options from her than I did from Dr. Carrascos team.

I always love this practice, but when I came on Thursday 8/22, I sat for over a hour to find out I only needed to do urine and I would be done. I should have asked but I felt asleep and when it I woke up they called me and told me. I hate to write this because this practice is so good. Listen everyone is human and not perfect no hard feelings. I would recommend this place everytime.

I will never set foot in this office again.I’ve been going here for over 1year everything was fine up until may last visit on 07/23/24. I went over for a Pap smear. The nurse decided to charge me for an a ultrasound to check for my ovaries which I didn’t ask for. My insurance didn’t cover this procedure so im faced for $1,000 worth of bills for one single visit.Obviously I called the billing department and the lady on the phone « Cherry or Cherish » told me that im responsible for this although I didn’t ask for the procedure to be done.I told 3 of my friends to go here because the doctor was kind but ill tell them all to stop going here because of how nasty these people treated me and billed me for something I didn’t ask and im faced now with a big financial burden.

Super long wait times and very delayed results! I had a checkup 6 months later they called me for a follow up even though I called earlier to make sure everything was ok. The worst part though is how it’s hard to plan your day since I waited an hour even after making an appointment. My old OB downtown had a 5-10 wait time, but I wanted to find someone closer since moving uptown. Guess I’ll have to keep looking.The only reason I tried this doctor is because of all the great reviews here, but personally I do not recommend unless you have all day to wait around.

This is the worst doctors experience I’ve ever had. I went last year but just received my 4th bill from them all because they keep typing in my insurance number incorrectly, even after I call them to correct it. Not to mention that Dr. Carrasco was incredibly belittling in our 5 minute appointment (after I waited almost an hour), did not listen to my concerns, and did not properly check me for the PCOS symptoms I described. He made me feel like I was being dramatic about worrying that I had PCOS and talked to me like a child. I finally saw a female OBGYN this year, was listened to fully, properly tested, and then officially diagnosed with PCOS so that I can now properly address my health concerns. I would not recommend coming here.

I have been going to Dr. Carrasco for over 15 years and the service continues to remain stellar. He has amazing bedside manner and is thoughtful and considerate and makes even the most invasive procedure less intimidating than it could otherwise be. I have sent my own daughter to this practice, thats how much I trust and believe in him so I would highly recommend to anyone. Call me selfish, but I hope he never stops practicing!

Excellent experience. Great bedsides manners and very thorough with his screening. I was nervous about switching from a female to a male GYN, however i am delighted to say I was completely relaxed with his expertise, and the over all visit.

I love this doctor. Honestly wish I would’ve been referred to him sooner because he made my entire fibroid experience so much easier to deal with. I had a massive fibroid that, when he saw the measurements, he said “your biggest worry after your surgery will be the new clothes you have to buy”. He had an “easy peasy” attitude about it after I spent almost 3 months dreading every doctor appt I went to because every doctor was intimidated. He treated me like family and the day of my surgery, was the sweetest sweetheart EVER. I love him and recommend him to anyone who has a uterus 😅

He is excellent at detecting any irregularity and acts fast to remedie. His team is amazing. They always set me up for appointments even with very short notice and they offer confortable plan payments if needed. They accept almost or all insurances so that’s also why I don’t need to change them for a new Dr. Office.I wouldn’t change him for anyone than his wife who I trust as well 100%. Depends the insurance you have one or the other one will take care of you.They are a gem in the City! :)

He is a professional at removing fibroids and I experienced little pain and minimal scarring after the surgery. Since then, I have been going to him for regular check ups. I never had a complaint until today. My appointment was at 11:20. I got there exactly at that time. I even checked in prior to that appointment. I was seen by the technologist within 15-20 minutes. But to see the doctor was an hour and a half wait ….so unacceptableI do not want to rate by the stars because this had to be an unusual situation, but I am stating the issue. Dr Carrasco is great! He is a charismatic doctor. I had some period issues that he was able to mostly solve via a procedure, but continue to have and that is not his fault as everybody body is different and treatment choice is different. I hate medicine or foreign object…I prefer the natural way of things if I have a choice. I still put great trust in him as he gives me options and what is good and bad with each….just like medicine and their side effects.I feel comfortable with the staff there. From the front desk to the sonographer then to the examination table. It’s much better to fake a smile than not to smile. It’s also nice that staff introduced themselves as I do for my patients.it does make a big difference. Not one day I visit him I am disapointed. Everything is kept tidy and clean. That brings me peace of mind to begin with. At least my experience and it’s been about 2 years. Dr C spends his time explaining the issue and how to fix it, answers all my difficult questions. I never had to wait, maybe my luck or maybe the way it is there. To him it’s not the money first but YOUR HEALTH care. It is very rare these days to find a doc like this and I have visited quite a few. I read so many reviews about him and I focus on the bad one, not serious. This doctor is truly a rare gem, A keeper! I do love the fist bump😉☺️😂
