I had to get a last-minute fit test for my job and was set up at Dr. Simons location. Id never heard of it before, but its super convenient! They offer a variety of services, including fingerprinting, bloodwork, CPR certification, and more. When I arrived, there was no wait, so I was helped right away and was in and out within 15 minutes. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Its a small facility, but they provide a wide range of services. Much better than waiting a long time at a clinic just for bloodwork!

Dr.Simon was extremely kind and professional. I accompanied my parents to their immigration medical exam with Dr.Simon and since this was a first time experience, we didn’t know what to expect. Coming in we were greeted and given clear instructions on what needed to be filled out and shortly after Dr.Simon came out and greeted us and all other patients in the waiting area. He was so approachable and although my parents didn’t speak English, he was very patient and kind- he walked us through the exam components and next steps. Their paperwork was quickly available within days. My parents were so calm and relieved to have been fortunate enough to be seen by Dr.Simon. Pricing and insurance coverage was very transparent and seamless. My parents were treated respectfully and from what I saw, all patients were treated well. Dr.Simon was very communicative and let us know that he would be available if anything else was needed for this process.My parents are still raving about Dr.Simon and his staff!

A really bad experience happened to me at Dr. Jean Pascal Simons office. I decided to get the medical exam over there for my Green Card process. That was around April 2023. I paid for this medical exam upfront. The doctor peformed the exam professionally. That was perfectly fine. The problem was regarding the billing, since one month later I received a bill from something called LabCorp and the balance was the same amount I paid upfront at the doctors office. Neither him nor his team ever mentioned a word about it before I was examined, otherwise I would have been ready for an extra charge to come. In other words, LabCorp took me by surprise and I requested an immediate explanation to the doctor. I complained respectfully about it several times. It is August 2024, almost one and a half year later, and I never got a real solution from the doctors office. On the contrary, he or his team had me making phone calls to LabCorp when they were supposed to do that for me. I was a mere costumer, a patient, not a worker of the doctors office. My financial score was at risk because of this situation that is totally unfair because I paid for the medical exams on time, and I paid what the doctor told me to pay. Today I decided to pay for the extra charge because I have no more time to play this awful game. I gave up. The doctor and his team won. I feel abused on my trust. I feel like I am a victim of a scam.

I found DR Simon on USCIS website Civil surgeon he did my I693 Medical Exam for immigration purposes.I told him it was urgent and he make sure to accommodate me with same day appointment.He was very professional, and he had a patiencewith me because I am always with high level stress when I need to do blood work.I would like to recommend DR Simon to everyone!Thank you!

I visited Dr. Simon for a yellow fever vaccine. It was easy to get an appointment with him and even on the phone before arriving he answered all my questions and was very patient and accommodating. When I arrived I was greeted by the front desk and asked to fill out paper work. Although the paper work seem to need an update, it was easy and I was able to be seen quickly after completion. Dr. Simon was warm and welcoming. He smiled and asked questions. He also answered my questions and is very knowledgeable about what I needed and also made recommendations for what I may need for my future travels.

After looking for a Civil Surgeon online, I decided to visit Dr. Jean Pascal Simon’s office for my uscis medical due to the plethora of positive reviews.I was not disappointed. He is an amazing physician that is extremely personable and will answer all of your questions. The process was quick and painless. I had no issues.Dr Simon was so kind that he even took the time (on a really short notice) to personally repackage my visit results since the first envelope got slightly damaged.As a medical student I can only hope to become a doctor as him one day. Doctor Simon has been extremely knowledgeable, very nice and helpful. He has been incredibly accommodating — we had to reschedule a couple of time — and sent us the documents we needed overnight. I warmly recommend without any hesitation!

1. Before the appointment: ZocDoc shows the doctor accepts my insurance. I choose this particular doctor over the others that do not.2. During the appointment: The doctor states insurance does not cover the Yellow Fever Vaccine. Collects an upfront cash payment.3. After the appointment: Bills and collects money from insurance at a total greater than what was collected upfront. The insurance company notifies me that the doctor is in-network with the plan and is legally obligated to follow the EOB. Meaning, the doctor is not supposed to collect an upfront cash payment, but only charge the $15 co-pay listed on the EOB.4. Update: After I made a fuss through online reviews and opened a dispute (ruled in my favor) with my credit card company, the doctor refunded me the money paid upfront.The onus is on the doctor to follow the insurance contract and collect the co-payment under the stated EOB, NOT have the patient pay upfront and waste time pursuing the doctor to collect the refund.If no action is taken by the patient, the doctor ends up with two separate payments from the patient and insurance, which is a very questionable billing practice.The doctor is calling, texting, and leaving voicemails everyday to take the reviews down. I am still waiting for the $15 co-payment bill in the mail so I can move on.

So impressed with Dr. Jean and his staff. He is calm, kind, patient and thorough. It is obvious that he truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend him. My daughter is now a patient as well.

This is an overdue review. I deleted my previous one at the request of the doctor. But I am reposting because our problem was never resolved. Jean P Simon failed to accurate write down the procedure # which resulted in our insurance not covering the bill. When we called for help, he was unresponsive. When he did answer (when we called from a different number, no joke!) he quickly hushed us off the line and said he would handle it. Never happened. We spent at least 20 hours trying to resolve.We had to call the diagnostic center, our insurance, and his office and it never was resolved.We gave up and paid the bill out of pocket, which is exactly what he wanted. That’s why he asked for up front payment….who does that? He knows how to exploit unknowing international clients (we are French also). Americans don’t pay up front, the doctor bills insurance first. Not this guy. Beware!

I was looking for a GC immigration exam doctor and decided to call up Dr.Simon Pascal, looking for an earliest appointment, he was accommodating. He is responsive on the phone. He answered the phone whenever I called. I went in the next day for the appointment and it was quick with no wait. I collected my Immigration exam result envelope within a week and was able to submit to US immigration. My experience was smooth.

This is an overdue review. Originally I left a low rating on ZocDoc but he petitioned to have it removed. It appears that he is also petitioning his low ratings to be removed on Google. I hope this rating stays on and someday other women can corroborate my account.This happened a few years ago. I found my visit with him to be disturbing. I found him to be unprofessional.It is unclear to me whether this is still the same location. But in the office I visited, he performed his well woman exam in a room that appeared to be his private office. Looking back, Im certain he should not have performed his exam in that room. I should have turned around when I got to the office and the person sitting at the front desk informed me that that was not his office and she did not work for him. In fact, she appeared confused about my presence. As I was providing more context and details about my visit amidst my confusion, he appeared and ushered me into the room. I should have turned around when I did not feel comfortable in that private office. However, I figured this must be a legitimate facility since it was listed on ZocDoc. Today, Im five years older. I now know that a startup like ZocDoc while performing valuable service is essentially just a phone book whose incentives are not aligned with the end users but is incentivized to build as large of a catalog of practitioners as possible.Regardless how you feel about my account and description, if you dont think you can assertively remove yourself from situations you do not feel comfortable with, there are plenty of other options to go with. I know as a young person who was trusting and new to the city, I didnt have the wherewithal to remove myself from that uncomfortable encounter.

Dr. Simon has been my GYN for almost 25 years. I just had an appointment with him today.He sat and spoke to me and my hubby for a long time.He really goes above and beyond any other doctor I know of.Also I am a rape survivor and need to go to a gentle caring GYN. I have had bad experiences with GYNs in the past just due to their rudeness and not being sensitive about my needs.I fully recommend Dr. Simon to any woman looking for an experienced GYN.

Easy to find, the office is on a quiet street that makes you want to go out for a walk after you leave the office. The secretary is nice and gentle, she smiles and try to explain all that have to do with the healthy insurance papers. You are received by the doctor on time, with no delay. He is really nice and polite and looks like he cares. It was a very good experience.

My husband and I went to Dr. Simon for our immigration medical and stupidly filled out the forms providing our insurance details, despite the fact we were paying $250 each upfront as a flat fee.We ended up having 9 claims put against our insurance for thousands of dollars, these were fraudulent.We reported it and reported it. Cignas investigation of this was calling him and asking him. Clearly he said he had done nothing wrong. We insisted and pushed and pushed, constantly filing complaints with the medical board and even reporting it to the city.Eventually after over a year, we received a letter from Cigna, saying Dr. Simon had cancelled the charges, though he does not admit any fault and maintains that the claims were correct. Im sure this was only done as we reported it to so many official boards and would not relent. Cigna had actually denied a couple of them anyway. There is a severe lack of communication and understanding from Cigna, they definitely have a lot to answer for, but a doctor like Dr. Simon knows this and plays the system. Beware and do not go to this doctor. He is committing fraud and should not be allowed to practice.

I had a terrible experience and service. When I went in no one was at the front desk and I had to wait several minutes before being greeted. Then he came out and told me to fill out some paperwork which was fine. I waited another 30 minutes until he saw me. When he did see me I requested him test me for all STDs. I never received a call or update from him even though at the end of our visit he said he would update me. A month later I finally called and he said everything was fine, BUT there was not enough specimen to do all the tests... I asked him why I was never called and why he did not take enough specimen when that was what I requested and he said he did not know... this is terrible service and I will not be going back.

I am so surprised by the good reviews. Honestly, I had a such an unpleasant visit to Dr. Jean Pascal Simons office.We just moved to NYC and I wanted to meet with a Gyn for my yearly tests + an annual. He was rushed and I was tense/tight which is not a good combination. My papsmear was so painful and bloody - he just poked and prodded and made me very uncomfortable.I asked him to write me a script for an annual wellbeing and he just wrote CBC and Lipid profile. I wanted a complete set of tests: Iron, Thyroid, Vitamins etc - I said Id pay extra but he refused to put any of those things down!!! All of this despite me mentioning beforehand that I was trying to get pregnant and wanted to make sure everything was alright down there.I dont have time before the end of the year to find another Gyn whod redo my lab scripts - this upsets me so much.Please look in advance and find anther Gyn - dont visit him. Hes clueless and doesnt even speak understandable English!

In 2018 he sent my forms to immigration completely blanc. I only found out on my interview day. It delayed my green card process considerably. So frustrating. I would never recommend this doctor.

I want to give some important information that will help any menopausal woman who reads this.I am now 55 years old and have been in menopause for 4 years but I have been going to Dr Simon for over 20 years.In 2016 I fell in Bermuda and broke my ankle in 2 places and though I had a world class surgeon, I never fully recovered my walking. I have been to countless doctors and nobody knew what was wrong not one of them knew.Dr Simon is a GYN but he helped get me tested for a lot of different things. One of the issues is low estrogen. If you are a woman in menopause you need this info!Estrogen prevents Alzheimers and heart attack and Osteoporosis. I know there are scary statistics out there about stroke and breast cancer but that is ONLY for Synthetic Estrogen.Bio Identical Estradiol which is the main hormone missing in menopause does not carry the same risks and it also protects women from heart attack , Alzheimers and Osteoporosis.I had a very devastating DEXA and Calcium can clog the arteries but only makes the bones strong and brittle.Calcium can also cause problems with your heart. (Read the Calcium Bomb)The ONLY thing that can help your bones is Estradiol! It is the ONLY medicine that can make the bones dense so they dont break!1 out of every 29 women dies of breast cancer. Estrogen doesnt cause breast cancer. A hormone often prescribed with Estrogen causes breast cancer. It is mistaken as Progesterone but it is not.It is Synthetic and it is Progestin. Progestin also can cause a heart attack.However real bio-identical progesterone has no bad side effects only diarrhea.The problem is almost no doctors prescribe bio- identical hormones any more because the Government has this nation wide computer system and only synthetic hormones are in there and many doctors especially if they work for hospitals do not want to get in trouble with the hospitals so they prescribe the poison that will kill you and they get a commission or the hospital does.My hubby and everyone who knew me thought I was going to die until I started using an Estradiol patch and I am back to being myself again!Dr Simon says he has been prescribing bio- identical hormones for 35 years.I really think it saved my life!If I knew it take it before my break then I would not have broken my ankle. But better late than never!1 out of every 2 women dies of a heart attack and I was having pretty fierce palpitations. I have been having them for 2 and a half years. I did see a cardiologist and though I didnt finish all of the tests the tests I did do were normal. They concluded my heart problems were from a lack of Estrogen.So Dr Simon might be one of the few doctors who prescribe SAFE bioidental hormones in the city.. (For more on Bioidental hormones see Dr Northrup)My hubby and I really think Estradiol is saving my life because I dont feel like I might die of a heart attack suddenly and I did before we both did.DEXAs can only be done every 2 years and I was told it would take 2 years to see the benefits of Estradiol on the bones anyway.But there is a blood test that shows immediate results.It is called an NTX and Dr. Simon is going to monitor me with blood tests and exams every 3-6 months.I am hoping to see good results on my next blood test because although Osteoporosis can mean an early death especially if you break your hip, with Estradiol and only Estradiol it is reversible.The SERM drugs (drugs for Osteoporosis) only make bones stronger and more brittle and more prone to breaking and have terrible side effects like cancer.But they only make your bones more brittle and more breakable and not dense. But doctors get commissions off of prescribing them thats why they keep doing it and patients are very naive and just take them trusting their doctors.Dr Simon is a doctor you can trust! He doesnt get commissions off of anything. He just wants his patents to get better!He is a doctor with a tremendous amount of experience and expertise but more importantly he cares!
