If the woman who answered would’ve listened to what I was trying to say to her about who I wanted to see and where, she would’ve known I needed to see Dr. Steven Chang for the first time on recommendation from a good friend. She fast talked me, sir this sir that. I wasn’t talking quick. I can’t say if they are worth their salt or not, but they are highly disrespectful.

It is a pleasure to write you. I have been sending several emails and calling since the beginning of January but without success. Then, I am writing here. Our literary agency represents the literary rights for the English author John Berger for all over the world. So, I am writing you on a peculiar situation on one of his works, TO THE WEDDING. Further to the authors decision, since 1996 you were receiving all the payments for the sales of this title at Pantheon, and the last one was in 2020. Since then, the work has not been selling. Now, we will renew it with an important advance and royalties and our question is: are you willing to receive these new revenues? or you prefer to stop receiving them?I remain at your disposal. Since I have not received any request from you to my several emails, we assume you agree to revert the previous assignment to Pantheon.Best from Barcelona and have a nice year 2024,Teresa Pintó - AGENCIA LITERARIA CARMEN BALCELLS in Barcelona

The most unprofessional and unorganized program ever. They have no protocol when a tenant passes away and also cannot access emergency contact information for the tenant so we can retrieve life insurance documents because it’s in a box of papers that they refused to go through. Alicia on w95th could care less if I can bury my father.

This is a disgusting agency! Don’t trust them, do not sign up with anything that has to do with them, they use your rent for there own personal and other uses, and when asked about why my rent isn’t being payed I was told to mind my business and that has nothing to do with me! HU will have you in court over what they are supposed too do and don’t. They went from 70 cases to over 100 cases in none rent payments, so over 100 clients under HU are not having there rent paid for for about a year now. Caseworkers/ staff do absolutely nothing not even what the program offers. Go anywhere but Harlem United! This is a corrupt and disrespectful place. Don’t put your life in danger with this agency! This whole agency is a scam. You have been warned!

The absolute worst place to get ANY services rendered! It is impressive how unprofessional the staff and clinic director is! Don’t sign anything for the facility, it’s huge insurance scam for access to your personal info to switch you from services where you are at to their’s when they don’t provide services you were provided before them. They refer you elsewhere. The workers are nonchalant, extremely lazy, horrible attitudes, and metro card pirate thieves. The entire establishment should be shut down immediately! All the horrible comments you read for this place are 100% true! They have someone playing from the clinic website pretending to care about the horrible true comments, it’s a huge joke! Don’t allow them to play you for stupid!

The clinic is not operating under Harlem United but the Harlem Upper Room Aids Clinic. So if you go to that clinic you are recorded as a patient of the Aid Clinic! Not Harlem Unit. They running scam! They use fraudulent misleading brochures and advertisement to lure unsuspecting people in. One of their nurses named Stephanie Young lies about her credentials. She tells people she is a Medical Doctor of Psychiatry! she conceals writing fake medical conditions on a persons clean medical record and you cannot complain bc there is a mad woman named Tamika McPherson that will defend their scams. Patient beware! Stay away!!!! Do not enter their doors! A real hell hole!

Harlem United is not the real name of their clinic! It is called the Upper Room Aids Clinic. So if you go there your name will be entered as a patient of the Harlem Upper Aids Clinic. Tamisha McPherson is a nasty verbally abusive woman that works in the executive office that yells and screams at sick patients when I called asking for my medical records! They violate the laws by not releasing my records to me to protect a nurse named Stephanie Young who lies and engages in medical slander in a person clean medical files. Nurse Stephanie verbally told me she was Medical Doctor of Psychiatry and when she was questioned by my insurance co she lied and said she never said that. They are 1st class schemers! Do not go there. Go to the white rich neighborhoods where you can get a better standard of medical care! They are operating on a third world standard!!

Horrible place. Its run down and dirty. The clinic is actually called the Upper Room Aids clinic. If you walk through that door and receive service you are now a patient of the Upper Room Aids Clinic. Harlem United is a cover up name they use to conceal the Real Name they are operating under. Such scammers!

I had an incredibly positive experience with Harlem United today. Upon walking to the 290 Lenox location I was greeted by folks tabling on the sidewalk. They kindly informed me that your clinics at that location were not open for the services I needed due to COVID-19 and directed me to the Nest just a few blocks away.Upon walking into the Nest, without ever having never been there I was given the necessary information to be on-boarded, educated about the multitude of services offered, given resources to attain health insurance, and a same day appointment.Staff were friendly, personable, kind, and obviously experts in their fields. Everyone made sure I was comfortable at every step along the way and was quick and innovative in getting me in to be seen, albeit last minute.I left texting my friends about this incredible resource right here in our neighborhood of Harlem and felt very grateful to know about it and have been able to receive care there. They are truly doing Gods work.

Harlem United no longer possess the reputation that they once had now they have lowered to the worst level. their services is inadequate and their staff is very unprofessional. Lets not forget the client that are there just for free MetroCard a free meal and maybe a free piece of ass. I strongly recommend that you go to a different Agency for any services that you need. Harlem United is incapable of providing the services you may need. People should be out of them mind in order to become a client of Harlem United... It looks more like a junkie spot than a service center.

The care and attention my mother received at Harlem United was second to none (and she INSISTED I leave a 5 star review), After making a Covid vaccine appointment with Shonte who was incredible friendly, she was greeted by Christophe who couldnt have been more helpful. Nurse Fiorello, who administered the vaccine, was patient and generous with her time and information. All in all, this is a great center with great people. Thank you Harlem United for making my moms experience a great one.

The staff at Harlem United are indeed a Godsend as my brother pointed out below in his review. (Scroll to the bottom and ignore the ones in between..meh!) They are a dedicated team of professionals who are doing good for humanity. I have donated and will continue to do so to help them make a difference in the lives of people they serve. The organization works hard on client centered diverse programs for HIV and non-HIV individuals, mental health, nutrition, housing, substance use etc.etc. From what Ive learned, the management is respectful and supportive, there is no micromanaging, and self care is highly promoted, which makes it an ideal work place and vessel for doing greater good. God Bless

Shady shady business! The staff here is unprofessional. As an employee, you’re not in the right clique you won’t last long. As far as getting services goes, I’ve heard mixed reviews. The shady business is more or less an observation. If a company dissolves a department, isn’t it interesting they post the jobs for said department less than two weeks after the dissolve? Not only is that illegal, it’s unethical. Time and time again that is who Harlem United has proven itself as an organization to be. Unprofessional and unethical.

Although Harlem Unites means well it is inadequate to provide the services it intends to provide. For instance, if one is endevoring to obtain prescriptions for preventive care one undergoes redundant doctor appointments and scheduling conflicts within a span of weeks before there is a modicum of progress. Its a system of poor communication and personnel who are inadequate to perform a job where peoples lives and health are involved. If you want to take care of yourself, the best way is to avoid Harlem Unites in any way possible. Any place Im sure is a step up from this establishment.

I lived in congregate housing 150 w 124 n Harlem. First year no heat now second year no heat Forcing me in 2018 2019 to use a stove for heat as was for many of us putting us in danger as fires broke out after having been warned several times by residents.. Poorly managed. The councelors seem to concentrating on getting fridays off and not to being advocates.. Two months ago I put order end for a snake as if today nothing. There are mice abound and an no innercom system leaving elderly residents out in the cold for an hour almost frequently. I am truly disappointed in this once esteem organization.

The 1st time I came to get the 1st dose of the covid19 vaccine it was ok. Now Im here for the 2nd dose and had an appt at 1145am. Got here at 11am and checked in. Its almost 2pm and Im still in line. What is the purpose of an appt.? But yet because someone has a later appt and they have a child with them its ok to push them through? Absolutely unacceptable. They keep saying the lines are because they are following the rules of following social distancing. Really its just bad management. This an extreme case of poor time management and people management.

I am only giving this spot 3 stars cause they provided vaccines. But EVERY time I show up early I either find out that the employees are on breaks and I have to come back or if I have an appointment and I show up early I won’t be seen for hours. If it ain’t any of that, this place ALWAYS over book their appointments! I refuse to be a patient to such poor work ethic. This seems idiotic and a waste of my and every other person’s time.

In regards to the testing services, Id say try elsewhere or spend the money at a more reputable place. I went there about two years ago and in going back for my results the woman that spoke to me couldnt answer my questions and read my results wrong giving me false information. If free means incompetence and a waste of my time, Ill pay for a service any day.
