Kumari Hobbs, MD, PC

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hobbs since 2017 and she has seen me through some complex situations with more care and attention than I’ve ever experienced or expected from a doctor. She ALWAYS makes time, which in NYC is unheard of, to be there for her patients. Compassionate, thorough, experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled are some of the first words that come to mind if I had to narrow it down to a few. I’ve recommended her to all my family and friends with complete confidence that she will take care of them, issues big or small. LGBTQ+ friendly.

Dr. Hobbs and her team are incredible. She is so kind, a great listener, and so knowledgable. She made an intimidating procedure for me feel like the easiest thing ever. I would recommend absolutely anyone to see her!

Dr. Hobbs is the best GYN I’ve ever had! I’ve been seeing Dr. Hobbs for 6+ years and I’ve truly never felt more comfortable with a doctor before. She does everything herself, always makes you feel heard, and is never rushed (while also always being on-time!). Dr. Hobbs is the most calming/approachable healthcare professional. DR. HOBBS IS THE BEST OBGYN IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!I first started seeing Dr. Hobbs in 2015, back when she was at another practice around the way from my job. Her bedside manner is immaculate, she knows her stuff, and what I adore the most about her is that she CARES. She really does!Shes so great that I followed her to each practice she moved to because I know I cannot find better care than her. Although Im no longer in NYC--I miss her care greatly!I highly recommend her--you wont be disappointed! Love you Dr. Hobbs! (heart)

I can’t even begin to explain how amazing Dr. Hobbs is. She is everything you could ever want in a doctor. She is kind, takes time with you, intelligent, caring and just all around a great clinician. She sits with you and talks to you and really hears your concerns. It is an actual conversation. You don’t feel rushed, you feel heard. She is gentle, holistic and always lets you know what she is going to do before she does it. I wish I had a primary like her. In addition, her new office is cute, clean, modern and offers a variety of female products and fresh water. It is also in a super convenient location and accessible by train. Her office staff is friendly and very responsive. I didn’t have to wait forever to see her like most doctors and she took her time with me. She is one in a million and I can’t recommend her enough.

I work in the womens health field, so Ive gotten various recommendations for Dr. Hobbs. I personally needed a new gynecologist & Im so happy I chose to see Dr. Hobbs. She spent so much time with me, went through my history in detail, and carefully reviewed everything I wanted to talk about. She was friendly, energetic, and had great customer service. I did not feel rushed in the slightest. Jeremy was also great!! The office is clean, professional and cozy. Would 100% recommend Dr. Hobbs to my own patients, friends and family.

My experience with Dr Hobbs was seamless from start to finish. She is not only incredible at what she does, she really cares about each patient and makes you feel comfortable and heard which I find is not a usual experience with doctors in the USA.She has a great team who also care and want you to have a great experience.This kind of service/experience is not the norm in the US - I wish more Drs ran their businesses like Dr Hobbs.

I don’t even know where to start, Dr. Hobbs is an absolute gift on earth. I’ve never met such a kind, calm, supportive and caring person in my life. She listens to and genuinely cares for her patients in a way that’s unlike any doctor I’ve ever met.I haven’t yet seen her at her new practice (so proud!) and she still responded immediately to my email on a Friday evening. Dr. Hobbs is the BEST gynecologist I’ve been to in 27 years. She is patient, thorough, compassionate, responsive and knows this field. She is easy to talk to, non-judgmental and LISTENS. Ive been seeing Dr. Hobbs for a several years now and I couldnt be happier with such a holistic health care provider! I highly recommend Dr. Hobbs for the below reasons:- It was easy to navigate the website (patient profile + booking an appointment, etc.). You just create an account and all your info is easily accessible for review after the appointment (labs/procedures/tests) with annotations, so youre not confused about the medical jargon and all the values/numbers.- The office setup has a calming effect and thats due to the thoughtful design of the space (color pallet, artwork, and minimalist approach), including the essentials that even I wouldnt think of.- During the appointment, Dr. Hobbs utilizes active listening and partner-in-health approach by giving an overview of your health and all the options that allows you to make the choice in how you want to move forward in taking care of yourself.- I feel heard, seen, respected and empowered to make these decisions because all the information/knowledge is given to me in an easily digestible way. And when I wasnt sure about something I felt completely comfortable about asking all those questions.- From booking an appointment to follow-up, its an easy process because you feel supported throughout.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hobbs since 2015. When I first came to her I was in severe pain. She listened to everything I said with care and concern. I am happy to say that because of her I live pain free. Dr. Hobbs is the most kind an compassionate Dr I have ever met. She will answer all of your questions and answers every email you send immediately. She is so calming and makes you feel better by just seeing her. She has an extraordinary bed side manner. My mom and I travel from Staten Island and I have to tell you I would follow her to the moon. If you are looking for a doctor she is the one. She is the BEST!! Trust me you will not be disappointed.

If you need a gyno, you can stop looking!! Dr. Hobbs is simply the BEST all around. I recommend all my friends to her and they all have equally rave reviews. Dr. Hobbs is beyond thoughtful and genuine in her care--and that just makes all the difference. She checks in, is easily accessible, and really takes her time to listen. I had problems that lasted over a decade and she was the gyno to finally diagnose the problem. On top of that--when insurance is driving you crazy with billing codes and whatever else, her office will help you navigate those queries and work with you to figure it out. 10/10 doctor, the best there is.

Dr. Hobbs is a wonderful, empathetic, and informative gynecologist. I really appreciate her attentiveness to concerns and thoughtfulness in treatment. I was especially glad to have found such a wonderful provider just in time to have her confirm my first pregnancy a few years back and walk me through next steps for seeking pregnancy care.

I came to Dr. Hobbs via a referral from my GI doctor. I had complained to him that I felt I was being ignored and he was like, “please, you must go see my friend!” He was so right. Dr. Hobbs spent an entire hour with me listening to everything that was going on. She offered support and went above and beyond to help me. I feel very fortunate to have found someone who cares so much.

For yearsI had doctors dismiss my concerns and want to just write a prescription to mask my pain, until I met Dr. Hobbs. Dr. Hobbs was the first GYN who took the time to truly listen to my history and concerns and come up with a treatment plan that actually made sense. Her plan has kept me pain free for over six years now! I have since moved from NYC to Charlotte, NC and continue to travel to see her! I called Dr. Hobbs as an anxious mess and she not only called me back personally, but her and her team made it so easy to come in and be looked at. I am usually so nervous at doctors’ offices but I felt so secure and valued as a person that I am never going anywhere else.
