Absolutely the worst! Never once was I asked how I was doing - if I had any symptoms or questions. They have one foot out the door while doing your sonogram. You will pay through the nose and spend all of 5 minutes with the doctor. They bring you in and out like cattle. You can ask your questions at an added $550 to speak with the dr after paying over $10-30k for the IVF! Its absolutely ridiculous. I cant believe its legal to treat people like this on top of charging them so much for it! Worst experience of my life.

This place is the cheapest I could find. They said a IUI with out meds is 800$. And with med would be 1,300$. Its cheap but is there results? Will be letting you know if it works or not. Thanks

They are the worst! For the price they charge, I at least expect them to be organized at a minimum. This place is completely disorganized and they seem to find every way to charge you extra fees. Go elsewhere. It’s beyond exasperating dealing with this place.

I’m shocked at the negative reviews. I’ve had a pleasant experience thus far where staff (reception, phlebotomy, nurses and doctors) have treated me well and taken good care of my needs. They have always returned my calls and did their best to answer my questions. More than anything I am so grateful for the two young women who have made the nightmare of bloodwork go quickly and seamlessly, JJ and Rachel R. on the 6th floor of 1305 York Avenue. They are the best!

My overall experience was pretty good. I started my cycle back in October. My doctor was Alexis Melnick. I will say you might feel like a number not by your doctor but doing your daily check-ins. People have to keep in mind a lot of people might share the same cycle time frame. I think that’s the reasoning for feeling like a number.I adore the staff. It got to a point that the young ladies at the desk knew me by name and was very wecolming. The most of the nurse were very kind and friend and went out of there way to make you feel comfortable. My IVF was a little more than successful since I’m expecting twins. I personally would recommend this clinic. I think people need to keep in mind there’s a lot of women out her looking for assistance with fertility. It’s hard not to feel like a number but I truly feel they do the best they can to accommodate such a large customer base.

I take issue with a few aspects regarding Cornell’s storage policy. The storage charge for freezing eggs, embryos etc. is considerably higher than other facilities in the tristate area. For example, for Northwell, the first year is free and there is an $850 annual charge thereafter. Cornell has an initial fee of $1225 PLUS an additional fee of $1200 a year. Therefore, over 5 years, you will be paying about 47% MORE with Cornell. The facilities are providing the same service, so this kind of markup seems unreasonable.Additionally, Cornell has an age restriction regarding how long they will store your eggs and embryos. Cornell will only keep your frozen eggs until you are FIFTY (50) years old. At this point Cornell will not longer keep them. This is at best an enormous inconvenience, and at worse an unreasonable and unacceptable age restriction based on gender and age. I understand the argument that there is increased risk regarding a woman getting pregnant after 50; however, with surrogacy now legal in New York State, this policy seems arbitrary and unduly burdensome against older woman. I wish I had previously been aware of these two matters, but I did not obtain this information until I was well in my cycle. I hope it helps others make the right choice for them.

The doctors and nurses are wonderful! But beware of the billing staff. Theyre unresponsive, unkind and extremely unhelpful. Not to mention their cash rates are 4x times higher than other clinics in the city.

There is clearly a big miscommunication among the staff, nurses and doctors. They made a mistake twice on ordering the incorrect quantity of medicines, which were cover by my insurances. Because of their mistake, i had to pay an extra 500 usd at the pharmacy for medicines that will have cost me 50 usd if order properly. I personally will choose a more profesional and experienced place as people in cornell just dont really care about personal situation. Also you do feel like a big factory, nurses are ok, assistant nurses doing the daily blood IV seems to hate their job and looked in a bad mood all the times. Doctors are so in a rush, they have basically 3 minutes to measure your follicules and just want to have this quickly done and go to the next patient without explaining you anything and don t really asked to be ask questions. Overall, the place need a much better training among their staffs. Not to mention the receptionist ladies were you go for check in every morning, they were literally awful and rude at all time

I felt like a number - no customization of approach. I wish I never wasted my limited fertility benefits on this clinic! Two failed IUIs - such a waste of time! I should have started with IVF! I am so upset and would never recommend this clinic. Go to a smaller clinic that will actually give you the personal attention you need!

Dont waste precious cycles with IUI. Its nonsense. Definitely dont bother with the 3 cycles of IUI before you can qualify to retrieve eggs with IVF. If youre in your 40s your days (and cycles with quality eggs) are VERY numbered. Trust us. We went down this road. For every story of fertility there are MUCH higher cases of failure than success. Consider that if youre in your mid 40.. youre 9 out of 10 times likely to NOT be successful.

I tried to volunteer to be an egg donor. During the preliminary interview, I was asked if I had ever been a victim of abuse. I answered truthfully, that I had, and the counselors entire demeanor changed. I was then disqualified on grounds that I did not pass their psychological requirements. To this day, I believe it was because of my disclosure of my history of abuse. I feel I was written off as damaged goods. I wish I had known this was something that would be held against me, as I wouldnt have applied for the program only to be treated like a malfunctioning broodmare.

My daughter was brought into this world because of Dr. Kilgman and staff. It was a long road to get here. I could not picture any other clinic to go to. Thank you all so much for making my miracle possible!
