Dr. Farhina K Imtiaz MD

After being withDr Imtiaz for probably 15 years, she made an uncalled for disparaging remark about how I take care of my breast health & when I replied to her remark, she excused herself from the room (leaving me half undressed) & never returned. Next thing I know, I got a certified letter telling me to take my business elsewhere, leaving me in the lurch for my hormone treatment & order for a mammogram. Shes nice right up until you disagree with her then she cuts you loose.

Wish I could give her zero stars. I found Dr. Imtiaz rude and prejudiced. Medical terminologies are difficult to understand. She does not spend enough time explaining and had problems repeating herself. I felt belittled speaking with her in both my visits. She dislikes it if you ask questions.

I’ve been going here for many years since having my daughter and I absolutely love Dr Imtiaz. I feel like I can speak very openly with her, and she has a great bedside manner. I’ve never felt rushed or had my concerns dismissed. While it’s hard to say I “look forward” to well woman exams 😂 every year has been a consistently great all around experience.

Couldn’t be more relieved or happier with my decision to seek help from Dr. Imtiaz!Needless to say, I had been having hormonal imbalance issues for quite a while so I was desperate. That’s when a friend told me to go see her.Dr. Imtiaz’s thoroughness, knowledge and understanding, and care is unmatched.First, I was surprised yet pleased that I was able to get in for a consultation rather quickly.From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The clinic was lovely. The staff friendly. Then I met with Dr. Imtiaz for my consultation. She was so thorough—asking every possible question, noting everything I said. She listened with care and understanding, and explained the entire process step by step. However, she did refer me to the office staff for billing questions, which is completely understandable.Conveniently, I had blood drawn in their clinic that same day. I also scheduled my follow-up appointment to review my blood tests results.When I came back, everyone was friendly and kind just as before.Dr. Imtiaz went over my results and we discussed a care plan that is specific to my hormonal needs. She was able to insert my first Biote pellet that day.To note, I had a tough personal moment and she handled it with poise and professionalism. I was a bit embarrased by my behavior, but the entire staff was super supportive and accommodating.Dr. Imtiaz made me feel at ease through the entire process. I trust her judgment and look forward to collaborating with her and the staff regarding my care plan.As far as the cost goes, it is a bit pricey overall, but honestly, it is worth every penny for the peace of mind and for getting my life back.I highly recommend her!

She’s always on time and never rushes through appointments. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and provides thorough explanations for any questions I may have. Her bedside manner is excellent, and she makes me feel comfortable during what can be a very uncomfortable situation. I trust her completely with my health and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a gynecologist. Thank you, Dr Imtiaz, for all that you do!

Great first experience. Doctor Imtiaz spent plenty of time with me and answered all of my questions. She was warm, friendly and soft spoken. Receptionists and nurses are great, too. Absolutely zero complaints after two appointments.

I had 3 children premature, Dr Imtiaz did a simple test to figure out why. Im thankful she listened to my concerns. She is an expert in her field... thank you soooo much.

I can not say enough about the amazing staff at this office! I am not only very satisfied with Dr. Imtiaz herself but her staff is wonderful! I have always been received with a happy and helpful attitude! The doctor that treats you is important but she is only as good as the staff around her. I highly recommend this office.

My experience was surprising and disappointing with the doctor’s attitude. In my annual exams with her, she has been sweet and attentive to all my questions without making me feel rushed. In this consultation, the doctor was annoyed with my story about the reason for my appointment. She was rude and seemed rushed. She told me that she had to attend her next patient. I understand that sometimes we have bad days, but that does not justify in treating a patient like this. I was in a lot of pain and in a desperate emotional state due to my medical situation and she had no compassion. I hope my follow up appointment is a better experience with excellence in service and clinical care that every patient deserves.

Dr. Imtiaz and her staff are wonderful. Dr. Imtiaz provides personalized care and attention during every appointment. She was able to diagnose and provide solutions to issues that I could not get help with through other medical professionals. Since receiving care with Dr. Imtiaz, I feel I have so much more energy and clarity! She always kind, patient and knowledgeable. In addition, her staff is awesome and attentive. I’m always happy to visit and when I call, they are always kind and helpful. Also, I love that I can have most blood draws done in office.

I highly recommend Dr Imtiaz for treatment of menopause symptoms. She is a specialist & her office is very organized & professional (your appointments start on time). She takes the time to understand your situation and preferences regarding treatment. I started with pellets for bioidentical hormone replacement but switched to a topical cream for cost (pellets aren’t cheap & usually aren’t covered by insurance). The cream is working great. She is also helping w hair loss & weight gain.

I recently had a procedure with Dr. Imtiaz and I was so impressed with the compassion and attention that she provided. She was so considerate during the process and made me comfortable and at ease.

Horrible customer service. I called to make an appointment & asked questions & they transferred me around like 3 times for no reason. I asked questions about menopause and they were rude like Im Supposed to know everything. Asked about my insurance like 4 times.

Terrible, rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.Worst front desk ever. I made sure that the office was in network when I scheduled the appointment but I didn’t have my insurance card at that time so I called the insurance and they said that the office can look up the info in the system. I went to the appointment but the front desk refused to let me see the doctor. I told her what my insurance company said and she confirmed that she can see that I have coverage but she needed a copy of the card. I told her how important was the appointment and asked if she can just let me talk to the doctor for few minutes but she was so rude. I left and couple of days later when I received the card , I called to schedule another appointment but they refused saying that I didn’t show up for the previous appointment. I explained the whole situation to the lady at the front desk and I told her that I was there 10 minutes earlier and they didn’t let me in because of card but she she insisted that she won’t schedule me any appointment with them because of no call no show policy. That was terrible and very unprofessional

I have never felt so confident in a physician. AMAZING staff! Dr. Imtiaz is so caring and attentive & her entire staff as well. Always a fun experience. I recommend her to anyone wanting to lose weight or just improve their overall health. I literally couldnt be happier!

I dont usually do reviews but I feel compelled to do so this time. I just started seeing Dr. Imtiaz in July 2022 . Dr. Imtiaz and her staff are great! Its not often that you meet a doctor with a good bedside manner. A doctor that actually takes the time to listen and answer your questions, and or concerns. I am thankful for her and her staff.

Dr. Imtiaz is gentle and kind. Her ability to listen and guide you in your next steps are excellent. She gives every detail of any procedure she will preform and make you very comfortable with the process.

Dr Imtiaz and her staff are warm, welcoming, and even after a year welcome you back as if they just saw you yesterday. Dr Imtiaz, is an amazing doctor who goes beyond routine visits. For years I was plagued by mysterious illnesses and she was able to correctly diagnose my autoimmune disorders and started me on a treatment plan that changed my quality of life. I greatly appreciate her expertise and will entrust her to care for my friends, family and daughter.

When a patient is in a doctors care especially when giving a procedure done. It’s important for the doctor to make the patient feel comfortable, understanding, patience, and caring. I didn’t feel good about my visit or procedure. Everybody is not the same and every patient’s reaction isn’t going to always be the same. I was scared and my anxiety had kicked in. That was my first time having the biopsy procedure and I didn’t know what to expect. When getting any kind of procedure done it’s not always a comfortable feeling. Also getting a procedure done for the first time, and the first time with a doctor that you don’t regularly see can make the experience uncomfortable as well. The doctor was getting inpatient with me being scared and my anxiety of the procedure. She said “I can’t do this”. She said that with giving up on how I was reacting to the procedure. Then ask do I need some time cause she could go be sitting down in her office drinking her coffee while she give me some time. Also said we can schedule you for another time as well. What really made me uncomfortable was when she said. Dealing with other patients that has had this procedure done never feel or act like this. I had to tell her that everybody is different. You shouldn’t tell someone how to feel. My experience was uncomfortable and not Pleasant. I will not go back to this client especially when someone is spending money to get told how I should feel about something. I spent over $100 to get told how I should act and feel. Not right at all

If you pre-fill out your forms prior to your appointment (as they recommend) check in is a breeze. I was seen in a timely manner, and wasnt kept waiting forever. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and were very attentive. My exam was thorough without it taking forever. Dr. Imtiaz came off very friendly with good insight. If you are debating on choosing her as your new ob-gyn... I highly recommend her office. Everything she said she would do, she did.

Dr. Farhina Imtiaz at the North Cypress Womens Center along with her staff, were amazing for my first visit. Every person I encountered was personable, helpful and knowledgeable. It took me a while to find a doctor I really liked once I was no longer in the Kelsey Seybold network, and I am pleased to say that I am very pleased so far.

Dr. Imtiaz was super rude and short with her responses. She did not want to give advice or answer any questions for that matter. She gave me a very condescending stare when I asked her a question about taking prescription prenatal vitamins when not pregnant to get more dosage. Even if she didn’t agree, she could have kindly said that. She also responded to me with just a shoulder shrug. The visit felt very rushed. I’ve never experienced an OBGYN like this before. I’m very disappointed that my time was wasted after spending so long searching for a doctor in Cypress. I guess I should have read the Google reviews first. Many have the same complaint about rudeness and super quick visit from the doctor.

I am so relaxed when I go to Dr Imtiaz office. She is so calming and thorough. I like that she brings in testing tech to have everything done under one roof without running all over town!Also ... her staff is the best! Always so helpful and friendly!

Dr. Imtiaz is wonderful to work with. She is very kind yet will shoot straight when she feels you need to make a change in the way you care for yourself. I have never felt as heard and supported by a gynecologist in my life!

Dr. Farhina Imtiaz MD performed a robotic hysterectomy on my mom (02/19/2018) which was a success. She is such a genuine, kindhearted individual who communicated with me throughout the entire process. She is an excellent doctor and surgeon, she’s an expert and highly educated with a lot of experience in her field. Her entire staff is always friendly, reliable and efficient. I would definitely recommend Dr. Farhina Imtiaz MD and her staff to my family and friends.

Even though I have checked out previous reviews about this doctor in which there were mixed reviews, I figured everyone experience is different, nevertheless, I didnt have a good experience. The receptionist was nice, however the nurse and the doctor itself wasnt really friendly. I felt that the entire process was very rushed. I came in for my routine exam and had questions on female issues that I was experiencing during my visited. In which I explain this to the doctor, she gave a diagnosis on something that I have already been given by a previous doctor, and she just gave me a refill on medications that I already had, no additional questions, no probing questions on potentially it being something issue wrong with me. At the end of my visit, they charge me for a office visit, IN WHICH THAT WASNT MY PROBLEM AT ALL, the fact the doctor didnt try to figure out what was wrong with me, I ended up going to another doctor, and they were able to help me, will not recommend this OBGYN at all.

I have been going to Dr Imtiaz for over 2.5 years! Love her and rave about her to all my gfs! Amazing bedside manner on all topics! You will not be disappointed! She’s is my gyn and love the hormone therapy that helps me stay on task and functional and my young age of 52!

This was my first visit here and only because I had an issue...it wasnt for an annual. The staff was nice and so were the assistants. Dr. Imtiaz was really great..put me at ease and answered my questions. I think I have finally found the place I want to go for an annual and Ive been looking for a very long time.

Love this office! Everybody is nice and caring. Dr Imtiaz listens to you and answers all your questions. The front and back office are very helpful and patient.

I do not believe there is full disclosure with your care. Dr. Imtiaz ordered tests to be done to check on a few issues I had in the past. I was NOT told that this is considered non routine tests and that my insurance would not cover it. I found out all of this AFTER I received a bill for over $2000 for lab tests. When contacted, the impression was given that something was incorrect, however when my insurance contacted them, Dr. Imtiazs office told them it is correct. I called back to get clarification and was told someone will contact me........weeks later I am still waiting! UNETHICAL!! If you choose to use their services, make sure you question EVERYTHING. Do not trust that they will be upfront with you.

I just started seeing Dr. Imtiaz in June, and of course when seeing a gynecologist for the first time you’re nervous, but she was great! I have recommended her to loved ones and I know they won’t be disappointed! I was referred and couldn’t be more happy! ❤️

I had been searching for a new gynecologist when my friend told me about Dr. Imtiaz. For the past year, I have been very pleased with having Dr. Imtiaz as my gynecologist. Great bedside manner and very knowledgeable in answering any questions her patients may have.

Dr. Imitiaz is a good doctor. she certainly knows her stuff. However, she appeared to me to be very judgmental , culturally incompetent, disingenuous and rude.... I went in for period irregularities and she asked questions about my history that made me feel judged and as though I was fabricating information.I tried to explain to her that in the past I had always had access to birth control, as in my home country it was available over the counter and I used them to regulate my period. Her response was So you just have birth control laying around the place?. I felt so bad.She was insensitive to my explanations of how my culture impacted my choices. It was a very traumatic experience for me that I will never forget.Now I am a healthcare professional, and I use this an example of how I wouldnt behave with my patients.

I wish there was an option to give Zero stars ! Worst ever doctor I met so far ! I went to her office last year when I was 6 weeks pregnant. A day before the visit I found a big maroon blood clot while a visit to the restroom. I panicked and booked an appointment with her. She didnt listen to me properly, didnt diagnose or say anything, was very rude and just left the room within seconds ! Me and my husband were shocked at her non professional behaviour. Still to this day, we have no idea why she did that. On top of that, instead of handling over my reports the same day, her office booked an extra appointment just to collect the reports and charged me for that ! Later on, I saw another doctor who was very kind and told me that everything is normal. A doctor shouldnt have an attitude and should not fake politeness. Medical practice should not be taken as a business. We could clearly tell that she is there just to make money, not save lives.

I went for my yearly exam and had the usual procedure. The dr was in the room for about 10 minutes. I tried to ask the dr a question and and she just started walking out, turned and gave me a one word response and left. She was rude and short with me.

I went in for a hormone imbalance, she proceeded to tell me my testosterone levels were that of a 60 year old (i’m 23).she refused to help me and she told me to go see a psychiatrist.I don’t need a psychiatrist lol

I am always nervous about having a Pap smear. I think that is a very humiliating exam. The doctor and her assistant put me at ease and reassured me. I really appreciate that.
