Let me just say I’m so relieved that I took the time to visit. This is the only clinic that I will be using from now on. Let me just say the staff is so warm and loving. Shout out to Queen. She listened to me and gave me kind words of encouragement. They really do this work as angels. They are so kind hearted and genuine. They truly care about your well being and see you as a person. The finger prick and blood draw was so gentle I didn’t feel a thing at all. They make you feel comfortable and the atmosphere is so positive and warm. The music is such a vibe while you wait. Once I heard them play Tems that sold it for me. I was able to get there before the cut off time to register and they gave me a ticket to come back later so that I wouldn’t have to wait hours. I came back and they were able to get me in and out fairly quickly. I’m so grateful for this organization and will be coming back.

It’s hard for me to leave reviews because, well. I tend to forget. 😅But EVERYONE in here are awesome genuine people, and be sure Ms.Ashley and her crew will get you taken care of as quickly as possible. PLEASE, have some patience, everyone is there for the same reason, to get answers and possibly for treatment.I have visited numerous times and have been pleased each time. Great Wellness Center staff as well as the Pharmacy members 🙌🏼 you guys are all amazing!!! ❤️🙏

The best place to go! I always have an Amazon experience and the staff is super friendly and helpful! I would give 10’s if I could. Ashley is amazing and always greeting everyone with a smile and good safe energy! Big ups to this location and staff!

Everyone is nice and provides services in a nice manner, especially Queen, whose smile makes you happy, gives you comfort, and keeps anxiety away. And the employee in the room next to her as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Man they did their thing. It was so quick I was in and out without problem, everyone there is so nice and understanding I’m most definitely coming back for my regular check ups from now on. And let me just say the man who drew my blood is THE BEST TO EVER DO IT. He is the only person to ever draw my blood and not bruise me! I love the whole staff.

Testing and maintaining your health should always be a priority. I love how convenient, easy and affordable AHF is. Their staff is lovely and honestly every experience is a great one. Test result turn around time is low and all their extra services are a plus. Shout out to Ashley for taking such good care of me. She confirmed I can’t go anywhere else but here 😊

This place is amazing. I moved to Houston last year not realizing how huge this city and the metropolitan area is. I searched for many places and when I got inside I knew this was the right place. This has to be the most caring and compassionate group of medical professionals. And so relatable to everyone. The parking isn’t always the best. And please don’t let amount of people inside intimidate you. They’re all there because we all love it. And you’re in and out very fast. If for whatever you’re afraid….. don’t be. Go in and take care of business. You can wear a mask if you want to. And they have the answers about everything. Thanks to everyone there. My schedule is all over the place and they always make time and make it work.

I absolutely love and appreciate this corporation and have had positive experiences at multiple locations, although the primary center I go to for my services is the Westheimer location. The staff is always very professional and the manager does a great job facilitating as well as assuring all patient concerns are addressed appropriately. Yes sometimes the wait is long, so my advice is to show up early. Do not try to squeeze in appointments on lunch breaks or 1 hour before a work shift or you will be disappointed because you have not allocated enough time to be seen. I mean the services are free so the wait time is expected. You can’t get free services, professional staff, and been seen in ten minutes. It’s not Burger King. All in all, this place is a blessing and highly recommended. Thank you to all the pleasant harder working staff of AFH ( especially Westheimer lol).

It’s important to me to always know my status, but sometimes trips for check-ups can bring up negative emotion and shame. This clinic is my absolute favorite for routine testing. Everyone is so kind, friendly, accepting, up-beat, non-judge mental, caring and helpful. Do they have a wait time? Hell yes, because they’re great! But at least they communicate well and it’s still faster than going into any other clinic these with or without an appointment. Thank you AHF, I love y’all. ❤️💛🩷💚💜🧡💙

People complain about the wait but its literally free and walk-ins are welcome. I got there 30mins before opening and the lobby was already filled. It took about an hour for me to be seen but again its free. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a test done.

Have been coming to them for testing since 2021, and they take great care of you! Very welcoming, and communicative and you get your results back fast. Also really convenient in accessing results through a portal rather than picking them up.

Recently went to this place, and it was the most welcoming safe space, All the staff were so sweet and the wait was not long at all, The testing was fast and they were really helpful with questions. Also everything is free, they really care about our health, and even afterwards if your test come back they help you with prescriptions and more. If you’re feeling anything or having thoughts about your sexual health please go here !!!

Very fast, very patient and gentle , very respectful get you in and out it’s very well organized and cleaned, music it’s a vibe of it is a wait you will never know or feel like your waiting because the staff is so nice .. and caring and they do the best all the time. I’ve been going here for about 3 years now. And they have always remained the same when caring for me and making sure I am tooken care of shout out to ashley for having a great team put together

Came here to do a test. I took almost 2-3 hours just to get the simple test. Staff was taking their sweet sweet time for no reason. I was recommend here by a friend to get my test. If you end up going here make sure you allow up to 3 hours in your day, because they take a long time to do a simple test.

My experience with the OTC Wellness in Houston, Tx is always top tier. I truly appreciate everything and everyone there. The manager is very helpful and the testing team is always great. My last visit I was in and out maybe an hour tops. Pretty good service and it’s FREEEEEE. Thanks again for EVERYTHING!

I was referred to AHF Pharmacy by a close friend and I couldn’t be happier with my experience from beginning to end.Ashley the manager guided me through the process. Queen welcomed me, explained everything, and set me up with an appointment. I was given a number minutes after opening and shortly after that I was seen for my HIV testing. The rapid test process was informative and warm-hearted. Rhonda (ccs2) explained everything in detail with joy and expertise. I felt welcomed and safe. After I saw Clifton the phlebotomist and I can say with assurance he has the steadiest hand in the field.Again, quickly after I finished with the blood tests I met with Hannah the Linkage to Prep specialist. Life saving information was explained to me and she was extremely knowledgeable.Lastly I talked with Jocelyn and Aruna and they helped me with the forms for my free of charge medication and delivery.The entire process was too notch and I would recommend this Pharmacy to anyone seeking attention. You’ll see the same faces when you visit.I love the staff here!

These people take their sweet time doing everything. Make sure you take two hours out of your day to come because you literally will spend two hours waiting for someone to take care of you. Every time I come it’s the same situation. I get they don’t get paid much but they need to be more efficient.

They operate on walk-ins, first come first serve basis, but they get people in and out fairly quickly. Great music while you sit and wait. All the services and medications are FREE! All the staff members are super chill and friendly. It was a pleasant experience. Id definitely recommend this spot to everyone. 💯

This place has gone down so bad over the years. It is very sad to watch. Once a great place for free testing is now worse than a government office. Talk about inefficiencies and incompetency. They favor their “friends”. One guy and a girl who came later were placed in like first. This is not the first time I have seen this. The black lady that has an office in the front lobby made sure she puts her friends first in line. Not acceptable. Please be considerate about other people’s time and effort.

This is my second time coming here and both times have been a terrible experience. Hours are never correct, employees will tell you to leave and come back at a certain time just for them to still place you at the back of a very long line knowing how long you’ve been waiting. Employees are very rude and insensitive. People have work, school, long drives, this is honestly such an inconvenience. I have been here for 4 hours and I’m going home because the free testing doesn’t even make it worth it anymore, I would rather pay out of pocket, it’s THAT bad.

Very unorganized. I drove an hour and came in exactly when they opened and was told that they were only taking 15 people and that the line began before opening hours. Was told to return at 1 for a 2oclock session. Came back at 12:30 to try to get in line early, was told that I would not be able to sign up or anything until exactly 2. Came back and sat in the lobby at 1:15, went to get in line at 2. Was told the line is first come first serve yet was told to get out of my spot, because I was no longer considered to have been first because I left and came back. So instead someone who came at 12 was the first person when I had originally been here since 10:30! On top of all this I’d still have to wait damn near 2 hours until I’m finally tested.This is my second time coming here and my first time I requested a full panel and didn’t even receive all my results because the worker simply “forgot”. Not worth the trip nor wait at all.

From the catchy music playlist to the patient staff, this place makes staying on top your health a pleasant experience. They are constantly working to help everyone feel like they belong.

This place is Amazing. The staff is beyond Friendly, Quick, and extremely helpful. Theres no judgment or bad attitudes. Very professional. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I really like AHF Wellness Center everyone there is really friendly. The only thing I will say is get there early because it is first come first served. Depending on how many people there you might have an hour or more of wait time. Also they very good music while your waiting. Other than that I love this place. Btw Testing is free and Treatment you can’t beat that. Also if you’re afraid of needles they’re very patient with you I would know from experience. Just make sure you’re not dehydrated your veins can work.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. You are provided with 15 different services in one visit, free of charge. It is the number one place in Houston to go and get tested so waiting for peace of mind is worth it.

I showed up in the morning and was told they were too busy and for me to come back at 2pm. When I arrived at 2:10, they told me they decided to close early for the day at 2. If you’re going to close early, don’t tell me to come back then!I understand it’s free, but I’m still paying in my time and gas. Wasted nearly 2 hours for nothing.

Everything is fine but I feel that since they changed laboratories because I understood that they have become super slow, I dont know what kind of system they have now. But they are slow before it took even 10 minutes now it takes more than 40 😢Horrible service. Takes forever to give you lab results.IMPROVE THIS LOCATION PLEASE I WANT TO COME HERE OFTEN 🙏😞

Pros: friendly staff, great music, clean and a comfy environment.Cons: there can be a long waitI didnt mind waiting and the friendliness of the staff made up for it. Plus, its a totally free service. I dont have health insurance so Im thankful for yall!

This is for the montrose center.I’ve had the unpleasant “help” from the lady at the desk. Made me feel uncomfortable and tried to make it seem like I didn’t know what I was speaking about. I’ve been here before and the previous desk person was so welcoming. Due to the interaction and not feeling comfortable and unable to ask to speak to Ashley since they seemed busy, I decided to just leave. Just an inconvenience.

Went a few weeks ago and the lady’s there are extremely passive aggressive and condescending. I also did not like the way the manager in the office in the lobby was being extremely loud in the small space and was treating an older Hispanic man weird because he couldn’t speak English. The man eventually left because she did not give him a card. Left an overall sour taste in my mouth and won’t be returning.

Real fast and everyone is nice & friendly. Clean environment and all workers genuinely were there to help make the visit easy and everyone is taken care of.

Some idiot told me to go there on Thursday for treatment, when I showed up they were closed. 2 hrs early. Ahf is beyond incompetent when it comes to patient care.

The environment is great. Everyone is supportive and collaborates as a team. Its best to arrive early because you may have to wait.

Great experience excellent service ! They get crazy busy so I recommend bringing a book or having your phone charged to have a more comfortable time.

This place is great. So helpful. Friendly staff and this place is a treasure. So glad to have a clinic for the neighborhood. All services are free and treatment is also free.

They purposely make you wait 3 or more hours for a 10 minute test screening! Its 30 people and they act like its a 100 or 1000 people in here. Atlanta only took 20 minutes, Jacksonville only 20 minutes. Not 3 hours!

First come, first serve!! The employees here are just doing their jobs!! Mad respect to you all!! Thank you AHF wellness for offering this service its hard out here for a woman with no kids and no health insurance!!!

So many times driving out there based on their hours posted just to make an empty trip and when I have called the doctor or nurse practitioner has already left. And then when you explain the inconvenience you were placed in they just go into well it’s a free service. How rude and inconvenient… if something is wrong I’d do better just letting nature take its course

Wonderful place! The staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. It’s a bit of a wait, so try to come early to be seen in the first half.

They are very slow, unprepared and somewhat unprofessional. Before you come here make sure you have nothing to do for the day. Nothing is guaranteed, you’ll be waiting for hours just for them too tell you they can’t see you today. ( and you have to pay for parking, prices depends on how long you stay, so imagine waiting for 2 hours and having to pay $15 for parking just to be told you have to come back) they do not answer the phone before 2 so you can’t get any information. They stop excepting people at 2:30 so if it’s after 2:30 don’t bother coming. They lady in the front with the dreads is very rude, and doesn’t know how to answer questions properly. I’ll advise you to speak with the lady with the buzz cut she’s more professional. Honestly free isn’t always the best option when it come to this facility. ITS NOT WORTH IT! Just pay to get it done it’s way easier.

Quick fast and easy came in 1 hour before they closed and only took me 30mins everyone was really nice :)

Very kind and compassionate care. Its a bit of a wait, but its also free - tough to complain about that. I recommend you arrive early - as close to opening as you can get.

All testing and medications is free. Quick results. Friendly informative staff. Short wait time as long as you get there 10am or 1:30p. I only wish they would answer the phone so we can get proper information.

This is my second time coming to this location on Tuesday. They are supposed to be open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. And their walk ins are from 2pm -5pm. This is my second time taking off work to make it to the walk in.And they were closed on both days for training. I dont understand why they cant have the training on another day or say that theyre closed on Google. I have been needing to get tested for 3 weeks now. And the free std testing would have really helped me. But its been 3 weeks now and I will have no choice but to pay for the testing at a different center.Really have inconvenienced me.

I went to this place at 3:19pm today and could not be seen there wasnt even busy only had one person sitting down. Lady at the desk told me to come back at 4:15pm and I still couldnt be seen this place closed at 6pm I dont understand this is not a place to visit.

While it is a great clinic, the staff is super friendly, just please be prepared to sit for 3-4 hours.

Aruna, the pharmacist in charge is extremely rude. I witnessed her behavior towards a patient, and I am appalled by the way she spoke to him. She also spoke in a rude and condescending tone to me. I will NOT be returning to AHF because of her.

The non HIV patients from Dr. James Carrolls practice were assigned to a nurse practitioner who does not follow up nor respond to routine requests. Its terrible. Seeing a new primary in early January.

Closes in 45 mins but apparently that’s too late to get a test that takes 5 mins. Then say you close at 6 instead of 630 so people take that in consideration.
