American Family Care Parkway

I had fallen and cut my finger badly. Went to American family care and was quickly helped by the whole staff. They cleaned it, took X-rays and stitched my finger back together. Thank you ladies and nurses and doctor.

Awesome customer service and attention! From the moment I walked in until I left, I felt welcomed and cared for. My wait time was less than 15 minutes.The receptionists were kind and courteous. The nurse and doctor were just as friendly and compassionate.I felt better knowing that Id come to the right place.Keep up the amazing service!

Going to any doctors office when your sick is not usually a pleasurable experience, but AFC on Parkway East is an exception. I only thought to get 2 names of the people who helped me, Felecia and Ms Emma, who by the way gave the most painless shot Ive received in my 68 years. Everyone was great though. I just didnt get their names.

Well first of all let me say To God be the glory. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I havent had a pain free night in 6 years. I was completely satisfied with treatment. Im going by the clinic today to personally thank the DR and the staff. What they assessed me with Im talking to my Dr about it. I need to be on whatever they gave me.

The staff at AMC was fantastic had a little difficulty understanding the lady at the front desk cuz of her Mask. The one taking my vital signs was awesome. And the doctor oh let me tell you that doctor was the best of the best. She showed real concern about my situation. Above and beyond the call of duty. And she was good God fearing Dr that believed in the small statement of I will be praying for that alone meant the world to me and my stepmom that was there with me. I suggest going there for any of your ailments.s

Andrea was very caring very considering of the patients she made me feel as though I was a mother gave the up most respect to all the patients it touched h my heart to see this very pleasant young lady people like her makes the world a better place suc& a lovely personality. I am always treated with kindness and all my issues are always addressed. One thing the check in process. I have a hacker thats inject himself into my electronics and it makes it hard using my phone. So giving customers a choice in checking in would really be helpful.

I have been going to this location for years and experienced a lot of personnel changes at check in...some good...some bad. But the back of the house really shines as everyone was very personable and professional. Cant say enough good about CRNP Mwangi!!! She doesnt have that mightier than God complex that you sometimes encounter...she actually sits down and listens to your concerns and addresses the issue to resolve the problem. The real surprise of this visit was the 2 shots that I received from Laquita. In the past I have always felt the needle...some a little better than others...But Laquita was already putting on the bandage while I was still waiting to feel that initial needle prick...unbelievable...best shots I have ever experienced!!!

If I could give a 10 star rating I would. The whole staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable. From the nurse checking me in to the nurse checking my vitals, it was a quick and helpful experience. The nurse practitioner Sheila was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me. She was very attentive, detail oriented, and patient . Thank you to the whole staff Ty, Twana, Shan, and Sheila

The initial visit was efficient and diagnosed with COVID ... Picked up cough syrup and went home but when I called 3 days later feeling worse I was told why would they tell you thatWhen asked about Plaxovid they told me it was at the providers discretion. Then told me I would have to wait till Monday to see provider.(Out of 5 day window)After this contact I will be seeking out another avenue of health care.

My latest experience at the Roebuck location was very good. I came here a few years ago and didn’t have a good experience. Never wanted to come back. But Lashan and Emma were awesome. The lady at the first desk was very nice as well!

They were very polite, helpful and professional.I did have a long waiting period before I gotten seen, however, the quality of service I received from each person theirr made me over look the length of time I were seemI am very pleased with the service and I will recommend their servicesCedric Bell

All went very smooth. From my check in at the desk, triage nurse was awesome and so was the doctor. All three ladies were great especially since it was close to closing time. There was no attitude from any of them. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had at AFC.

All the ladies were very pleasant to talk to. I forgot her name but the lady that took all my vitals was funny and very personable. She made me laugh even when I didn’t feel all that great. The Nurse practitioner was also very friendly and informative about my situation I definitely would go back

I visited this location on August 3rd 2024. The staff was very personable, caring and professional from the intake receptionist to the X-ray technician. Each person explained what they were doing and why it was required. The doctor explained my diagnosis to me in detail.Thank you for your service.

Laquita made my visit there, a very pleasurable one. Best vital sign experience ever! Definitely found my new home, when it comes to urgent care.

The staff at the front desk was kind...I cant remember her name but she had blonde hair. The check-in process was quick and easy all I had to do was scan in.Once I was in the back, Lashan took my vitals and started to access my medical needs. Lashan was professional and was very proficient. She checked my ears and immediately knew what was going on. She was so sweet and had such a good sense of humor, which made me feel seen, calm, and comfortable while flushing out my ear.Nurse Practitioner Sheila McGill is absolutely AMAZING!! she is the BEST RNP that I have encountered thus far. She took her time, she sat down, and she talked to me and made me feel seen, heard, comfortable, and less anxious. She made my visit so pleasurable and she was 100 percent professional AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I cant rave enough about her. I AM already starting to feel better...my ears feel so much better. The treatment plan she gave me is working and I am so thankful to God and for her!!!! She is top notch!!!!I came to this location after going to another AFC across town & the Roebuck location was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish. I was in the right place and at the right time!!! Thank you Roebuck staff!!!

Once I got to the back, oh my goodness, the staff was excellent! Compassionate and everything went great. Dr. Emma was awesome! She explained things about what she was going to do and why, and even came back to explain the results and what to do next. Pneumonia aint no joke. Im glad I went when I did .! Thank you AFC Staff

I always have a great experience. Today I was in pain. Felicia, Tye, I know I am spelling her name wrong. The doctor and the front desk was so wonderful. I felt that they did care about how I was feeling. Keep up the great professional work.

Arrived at 2:15pm to get help with an ingrown finger nail. after signing my paperwork and paying my copay at 2:21pm, I waited until 3:05pm to finally be taken back. After checking everything they needed to, I waited until around 3:45pm to finally speak with the doctor, just for her to tell me they don’t have the tools to help me. I even asked the nurse if there was other AFC’s she could call in Birmingham to try and help me quicker, seeing as I already waited almost 2 full hours just to be denied service. After waiting another 20 minutes for them to attempt to call other places and never updating me on the status of if they were going to help me or not, I walked back up to the counter and the woman who was supposed to be helping was busy on a personal phone call. Very unprofessional way of handling things, and clearly a severe lack of communication with the team. I should’ve been told the minute I checked in that they couldn’t help me. Thanks for wasting my time. :)

Roebuck American family care parkway was very professional, handle my situation with care and professionalism explain the type of medicine that will help me to get well, made sure of any other issues or concerns, I would recommend this place anytime. They did a very good job.

As I set in the waiting i notice people being move quite fast. I arrived at 9:15 am there were 8 people ahead of me, I knewI would have to wait a while but I was called back at 10:50am was out at 1130 am. Fast friendly service.

Everyone was nice & friendly. Didnt have a long wait time even though there were 7 people in front of me. Nurse Lashan Cook listened to what I said, so when Nurse Practitioner Shelia McGill walked in - she was like so I hear this is what is going on and this is what we need to do is that okay and it was! I have Multiple Sclerosis & the infusions I get monthly, Tysabri and prednisone (steroid) together may increase the risk of serious infections, including progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML), a rare but serious viral infection of the brain that can lead to disability or death. I am not to take steroids 2 days before & 2 days after my infusion (I like to play it safe & make sure I dont have steroids 3 days before & 3 days after). Anyway, I typically (90% of time) have to explain it to doctors, nurse practitioners, etc. I did not have to do that today!! (Nurse practitioner Shelia McGill (I hope I got her name right) she came in already with the knowledge of Tysabri & asked when did I have my infusion & when is my next. I was very surprised and impressed!! Sorry for long review but I want to cover everything and I dont to leave out the lady who was at front desk (I cant remember her name) but she was nice & professional as well. One patient in waiting room was being rude & raising her voice, front desk lady kept her composure (she could of pointed out the reason people were going ahead of her is because she still had the sign in tablet and was still putting in her information) But instead she got a nurse & sent her on back. Definitely would recommend.

Yes Ty at the front desk made the experience very easy and quick ..explained everything and was very nice...quitta was also very nice and ask me all the question that need to be asked in order for me to have a positive experience....the doctor was fast and provided me effective care and sent the medication I need and advise to come back if I had any other issues

I was seen within the first 15 minutes of my arrival. Everyone was very polite. I could not talk due to my severe sore throat. The doctor really took the time to rule out all the possibilities based on my symptoms.It was a good experience and I would return again.

I went to my primary Dr and ENT over the past few months. They would only say it’s seasonal allergies or due to pollen and give me a prescription. But I kept getting worse. I decided to try AFC. The examination was more extensive and detailed. I was given treatments before I left. I felt so much better when I walked out of the door. I got a true diagnosis and the medication is really working. Thank you so much AFC!

The nurse and nurse practitioner are awesome! Ms. Lashun was super nice and I loved how kind and gentle the nurse practitioner was. ( I didnt remember her name but she is from Kenya) A lot of times when I come here, I feel rushed off but it didnt feel like that at all. Im not sure what changed you all have made, but they are noticeable!

I went in 30 mins before they closed. No attitude or any push back was given. Front desk receptionist was nice. My check in nurse was absolutely awesome! The doctor was absolutely awesome!! They heard my symptoms and took action to them immediately!! 10/10 recommend!

Entire staff exceeded my expectations!!! Professional, attentive, full of empathy medical staff I have ever experienced. From the front desk clerk all the one to the back staff!! I didnt get names but the triage lady, xray tech, and the sweet lady who drew my blood on 4/26/2004 @ around 4p....OMG the best. Now the dr herself, Kira Bloxom(hopefully thats correct) she was extremely knowledgeable and caring the whole time!! Thanks again to the entire staff because upon arrival I was so nervous but left optimistic!!!! Not to mention my visit was quick and efficient!

I was very disappointed with the service. CRNP McGill misdiagnosed me. She failed to check me properly and I believe that’s due to poor education. Was told the Covid test was negative and after a few days I was getting worse. I finally sought treatment with another facility and was diagnosed with Covid. The CRNP at American Family Care never swabbed me for flu or even possibly strep. Needless to say I will not recommend this facility!

My mama went and S. McGill didnt even examine her, told her she didnt have COVID and sent her on her way. My mother tested positive at Med help the next day. S. McGill was very unprofessional and rude. She was making jokes which is very inappropriate when dealing with someone who is as sick as my mama is. Its sad that this is the treatment black women are receiving at this urgent care clinic. COVID numbers are on the rise and you have S. Mcgill misdiagnosing people. If youre feeling sick and having any type of symptoms please go somewhere else to get proper treatment.

I was able to get seen quickly since no one else was there. (Rare) They were able to confirm what was expected. (Covid) I was given three prescriptions to address the problems. Nurse Practitioner McGill is a good listener and shared good information. Grateful you guys are here when I am unable to see my primary care doctor.

My wait wasn’t long, 2nd in line. The admissions’s clerk was courteous and informed me of each step. When called back the triage nurse was professional and kind. My wait for the MD or NP was not long and she introduced herself then addressed my illness, listening with appropriate comments and questions. Treatment was appropriate which was given by a nurse or med tech informing me of each step and then gave me my d/c information. Kind and caring professionals. Thank you.

I went on a illness check yesterday and I was greeted with polite and patient receptionist. She informed me on the new way to check-in before arriving at the clinic. Upon arrival I was able to check-in by scanning the QR code they have posted instead of standing to wait in line. It made my wait time go quickly and I was seen with 3 minutes. I was greeted with kind nurse and the Doctor that I was seen by also was kind and patient with me. The new way of checking in is great for those that use their phones and helps make you visit go by and get seen quicker.

Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The staff that served me was outstanding. Took care of my needs in a timely professional manner. Very pleased with the service.

I went on Friday Morning got there a little before opening to my surprise they opened a lil earlier than posted hours check in got called right to the back as I had a nasty laceration….Ms Emma& Ms Felicia were great I didn’t feel a thing they made my visit very comfortable and talk with me through the whole visit…. Dr. Davida Spann does not have good bedside manner. She seems to be too pretty to be a doctor. She cares more about herself than she does the patients. She didnt want to come close to me to check my throat. She looks at you like youre disgusting. She didnt make me feel welcome or comfortable at all.The entire urgent care experience was poor under her leadership. I came in at 7:56am and didnt leave until 10:45am and I was the first patient to arrive.. poor experience overallI will never come back because she did my son like this before when he had Covid and I forgot but I promise I wont forget this experience. No stars deserved at all. I had to put one to post this comment!

Great care from my entrance to my exit!Andrea at the front desk was kind and efficient. Lashaun my intake nurse was very helpful and helped me relax. Miss Emma my NP was very observant and helpful, even suggesting other care options than I had considered initially.

Went there and practitioner barely looked at my wrist. I complained of hand numbness and she didn’t even address it . I also had to ask them to correct errors on my paperwork.

Lashan very professional she did a great job giving me the run down on my rash on my back the nurse also took care of me I highly recommend to visit this place also in and out in a timely manner

From the front desk receptionist to the doctors office Ms Lashan and Ms Kimberly Kelly was nothing more than professional,pleasant welcoming made my experience very relaxing I would have to rate my experience all As across the board good job ladies. Saw my nurse LaShan first-she was great! Friendly, efficient and encouraging. Had tests run and sent on my way with prescriptions all in a great timely manner. I was in and out in less than an hour-definitely the best doctor visit I have had in a long time.

I was completely blown away with the care and the kindness and the understanding of my situation the doctors the nurses just fantastic theres no better place

The staff is really nice but it does take a significantly longer time to proceed through each part of the process with long wait times in between. I am sure when they increase the staff availability, this will positively impact this location.

Ms Lashun was the best nurse. She was so polite and engaging. She made me feel very comfortable and was very welcoming as in entered the back examination area. And Ms Emma my physician for today was the epitome of what a Great Doctor should be. Thanks so much for seeing me and making sure I had a great experience at AFC!!

While these people may be nice enough as far as their customer service goes. I personally think that we shouldn’t be going to them.It seems as if they are either maliciously or unknowingly stealing money from people.There needs to be an investigation into the automation and or business practices for this company because I know that I keep getting bills over and over again saying that I need to give them money when I’ve already spoken verbally to people concerning the issue where I had to get tests redone, by no fault of my own, and their system or somebody continuously attempts to charge me for things that they shouldn’t be charging me for.If you’re the type of person that doesn’t look into these things, you will just be giving them more money for no reason and they don’t even attempt to call you and tell you about these things they just continuously send you bills.I know that if it’s happened to me now multiple times that it has to be happening to other people which means they are raking in extra millions of dollars per year due to people thinking that they owe money that they don’t.

I have went to AFC many times over the years and has never had nothing but positive vibes and results there. My recent experience on 11/30/23 was great , the receptionist who got me signed in was pleasant and attentive . The nurses who attended to my care was also kind , knowledgeable and professional. The doctor was, OMG, so very kind, pleasant and caring to my needs. Honestly , I am considering to make this AFC center my primary . I would be honored to have this particular AFC center as my primary care facility. They were great yesterday. Thank you and God bless AFC!!!

My experience was the worst Experience, they dont wear a name tags. So when you complain against them you dont know the name. The young lady at the front. She was very Respectablethe young lady in the back. The tall young lady with braids in her hair She dont know how to talk to people need learn How to be nice to people?On a scale 1to 10 I will not recommend you.

This is the only facility I will visit when in need of urgent care. Lashun definitely made my last 2 visits memorable. I was in excruciating pain but she was able to help me take my mind off of it. She has a great personality. I had to get an x-ray and the nurse was super nice as well. She was able to relate to my injury and give me some hope. All very friendly and easy to talk to.

At American Family care, the receptionist was very sweet and helpful (I dontknow her name). The intake person that took my vitals I think her name was Shon. She was very sweet and the one that had taking me to my room, also when it comes to needles she has an awesome technique (NO PAIN FROM HER). The doctor was very nice and was very polite and took time (as much time as he could) to help answer my questions. Even after he left my room, I was about to leave and wanted some clarification of the info given, he still was able to take time out and answer my questions. I would have given it a 5 star rating only if the wait time wasnt an issue.The wait time was so long, maybe if I had completed the second part of the registration phase in a more timely manner, maybe my wait wouldnt have been so long, but other than that, everything was awesome. The personalities that I encountered were very nice, very compassionately informative to my questions.

From start to finish, the whole process was very professional and each person made us feel like they cared about me.

The staff was really good, and the Nurse Practitioner on duty 1/27/24 @ 4pm that assisted my father with his care was EXCELLENT!! She took the time to educate us, and she provided so much information and direction on his current medical issues and what he needed to do moving forward. I can’t put it in enough words on how good she was.

Lashan was great and personable. The doctor(African female) was also great, very nice.. treated what needed even if tested negative bc had onset symptoms. Can tell have stepped up game over years. There were a lot of people waiting when arrived and we all got thru very quickly.

My visit was understandably lengthy. The atmosphere was somewhat pleasant. The staff was cordial and efficient with the volume of patients in the waiting room. The medical personnel served me well. However, in my opinion the registration process could be abbreviated. For ailing individuals, this adds to their stress levels. Otherwise, I was pleased with my visit.

Overall experience was good. The doctor was very nice as well his assistance. I just wish they could improve the wait time. Sat in the lobby for well over an hour just to spend three minutes with the doctor. Aside from that very good.

Incredibly unprofessional and rude. I only got to talk to the people at the counter and the manager, so this has nothing to do with the professionals working there.I was there for a pre employment drug screen. They would not allow me to have the screen, even after talking to a representative from the company on the phone. The main person I spoke to was one of the rudest people Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. At least the company Ive been hired on with has decided to no longer work with that clinic anymore.I was told by the company and the clinic when I called and the drug test company that its a walk in clinic and I didnt need an appointment.When I got there, they told me first that I had to get a vaccine they dont have in stock to take the test so I cant do it. The company that hired me said the vaccine was optional. Then the clinic said I needed to pay for the test. Then they said they dont know how much it costs so I cant pay out of pocket. Then when the company was on the phone with the lady telling her they pay for it, the lady was incredibly rude on the phone too and said I need an appointment.I ended up leaving and didnt get to take the test and wasted the half day I took off my temp job.If you hate your job, dont take it out on the customers, Tiffany.Edit to reply to the automated response: Tiffany hates her job and is a bad look on your company. If you want to make anyones visit better, terminate her employment immediately. But I know you wont do that because AFC doesnt give AF.

Great experience today at AFC from Ty who greatest me at the front, to Lashan that took my vitals, and Ms Bloxom who was the NP taking care of me today. The check in process was easy and I was seen in a prompt fashion. Everyone was so professional but also warm and friendly that I trusted the care I received. I am not from this area so I was nervous to seek healthcare from a place that Im not familiar with but they took time to answer my questions thoroughly.

After completing paperwork, I waited 20 minutes only to be told it would be an additional 10-15 minutes to my wait..ridiculous.I sat and listened to the clinic manager and the front desk employee talk and laugh with a previous patient at the window. The previous patient came in to get results from labs theyd performed on him. Instead of printing the results or pulling him away to speak privately, the patient was publicly told his cholesterol was high, he needed to see a podiatrist, and etc. None of this was the business of the entire lobby.For this facility to be a convenient and easily accessible location, this visit was a complete waste of my time.Dont make the same mistake! Go somewhere else!

Needed a DOT Physical. The entire process was fast, professional and lwas very well served.

Sat in the lobby area for two hours waiting to be called back while several people who arrived after me were being serviced before me. 1st time I asked the receptionist are they on a first come first basis, she didn’t answer yes or no she just ensured me that I would be next.. well the next name that was called was not mine so I then asked the receptionist was there a way to cancel the visit and refund my copay.. she then stated she was about to see why I had not been serviced yet and for some reason her system was showing that I was already in a room. How it went from I’ll be next to their system showing me already in a room I am not sure but what I do know is that had I not advocated for myself I would have sat there all day.

It was a total experience. The receptionist was very helpful in helping me to fill out the form that she gave me the individual that took my blood pressure out. They was very professional. The doctor was even helpful, giving me the results of my test in a timely manner I truly appreciate all the work that you are that you all are doing. And continue to do the work for all the individuals that may come to you later in the future. Thank you very much.

Nurse Practitioner I saw on Sunday April 20, 2024 was wonderful !!! Wish I remembered her name. Very detailed.

The second time I’ve been in and the front desk lady has given me a hard time and told me they couldn’t see me till I got a referral. My insurance doesn’t require referrals. She insisted I did need one pointing yo the wall. She states her Mamager put a note up there telling which ones needed a referral. I’m standing at the desk and someone else calls my name. Seems the lady at the front desk has let my check in pad lie there and reset itself.So…I would like you to please forward this to the manager of this office. I am a retired nurse and spent the last 20 years of my last job ina medical office. I have never treated someone or been treated like this. Where I was told to call my insurance co and get a referral. I would not have been there if I wasn’t sick. I could barely stand. I called my primary care and spoke to the equivalent of the rude lady at your office. And she told me No, I didn’t need a referral. But I could get these two people to speak with each other. It was no one’s job! I’m Fed Up!

Oh, I love the way they treat me. They are so professional and they really care about my well-being. I recommend this location to anyone.

They charged me $140 out of nowhere. I have insurance and there is no way I had to pay that amount for a visit. At the actual clinic they just give me corporates number and they wont return my calls to discuss this charge

I called to advise of the pharmacy to send my prescription. Chad assisted me and made sure that the correct information was in the system under my account. Chad has a great attitude, he is patient and has what it takes to work in his position. Thank you, Chad for taking care of my issue. Love AFC!

The staff was very helpful at this location. LaShan and Ms.Bloxom was great. They made me feel comfortable. I was able to find out why I have been feeling bad for the past couple of days. They are appreciated. I was at the Roebuck location

I will never go back to this location. I was sick as could be and they took people before me who came in well after me. Finally went and asked receptionist if she had forgotten about me. They finally called me back put me in a room where I sat for nearly 2 hours ( room#3). There was a least a 1/2 dozen people or more to be seen when I went back. I know for a fact that they give all clients a covid test when they come in by it not being my 1st rodeo there. By the time someone came back yo give me my results or for that matter to say ANYTHING to me I was the only person in the building, only car in the lot. They had done all their cleaning and turned lights out everything. I say all this to say Ive visited this location numerous times and never received this type of service. But trust and believe they will never ever see me again.

It was a pleasure to see them at this location. Didn’t have to wait long at all and everyone was extremely nice and knowledgeable about what I was dealing with. They made me feel very comfortable while there. Especially Lashan, who seen me as soon as I was called back. She made me feel as if I was family.

I went in for an ear treatment yesterday. Each staff member exceeded my expectations in terms of healthcare and customer service. They made me laugh. They were also very comforting in my treatment as they provided options and allowed me to make the best decision for treatment. I’m grateful.

I leave work and visited the American family care in center point alabama because I have pain in both of my hands I got registered and make my payments only to be approached by a lady claiming to be Doctor Kimberly Kelly telling me that their x-ray machine is not working and walking away from me, Im like thats it? So do you mean to tell me I may my money just to be told that the x-ray machine is not working? I cant believe that these types of poor customer service still exist. I am going to tell everyone about this type of service that they are offering unless they remove that so-called doctor and I will never ever set foot back in any American family care facilities again.

This place is trash juice. I came here because the reviews were abnormally good for an urgent care but they must be fake or inflated. It deserves more bad reviews. I signed in prior to my appointment time, with 3 people ahead of me, and decided to leave an hour later, with 2 people ahead of me. Yes, in one whole hour, the queue moved up by only one patient. Miss me with your 4.6 stars.

1. Intake should be easier. If youve visited the same location before, its cumbersome to do the same thing with every visit.2. Triage was fairly quick, this was a plus3. However, it took 45 plus mins to get the test taken. The MA that administered test was not friendly and was very rough when administering the tests4. I waited another 30 mins or more for test results from Dr on duty. She was very nice and asked questions to understand my symptoms; this was a PLUS and very welcomed after the leading encounters and wait.

The staff at AFC were awesome. They were extremely nice and attentive. Thank you for caring about your patients.

Checking in on your phone was simple. The wait wasn’t long. Emma the nurse practitioner was great. She listened to me and asked great questions. She explained everything. The staff was friendly. Great visit.

My experience with AFC was good. Self check-in was fast, efficient, and easy. My wait time for a walk-in was not long at all and once I was in the back to be seen my wait wasnt long for the NP to step in and address my visit. The staff was very nice, patient, professional and the NP explained everything in a way I could understand.

I called the front desk because I am an Asthmatic patient who was seen last month by NP EMMA MWANGI who was suppose to write my prescriptions for my asthma! The meds I needed at the time I already had so it wasn’t alarming that my prescriptions weren’t written at the time and weren’t sent to my pharmacy but when I realized my meds weren’t written and sent when I needed it filled. I called the front desk and explained to Felicia at the front the desk what happened and how I was needing my meds to be written and she was very very rude and unprofessional! She raised her voice as if I wasn’t the person who was inconvenienced! Felicia needs an attitude check and need to be trained on empathy and learn to take accountability!

Lashan&Mrs.KellyWas very professional and they had a service before self attitude! The cared and answered all my questions. I would return and/ suggest others due to my outstanding experience.

I received excellent service with a smile from Ms. Andrea as she checked me in and walked me through the steps and answered any questions that I had. Lashan my nurse keep my laughing in spite of the pain in my knee as she answered my question best to her knowledge as she x rayed me..she is also a very great asset here. I had a very good experience at AFC Parkway o Monday, Nov 6 2023.I fell earlier in the day and was experiencing increasing pain in my hand and wrist. We arrived at AFC Parkway at exactly 6pm and the representative could have easily turned us away. I went to AFC Urgent Care today but the nurse practitioner didn’t even look at me to see what was my problem nor did she touch me so that she could tell me what I needed to do for my pain. She only printed some papers and gave them to me to read. I was there for about two hours before I got to see the nurse practitioner.

I was called to the back within 30 minutes. Ms. Lashan did my vitals and was very welcoming and sweet. I would recommend this location.

I only went in for a drug screen...it was extremely cold in the waiting room, so make sure to bring a jacket or something of the sort. I gerl its so cold to keep down germs with patients in the waiting room...My wait was long only due to their systems going down. As soon as it came back up everything resumed in a quick manor. Knowledgeable staff, just short of staff.

Nice friendly service with a professional attitude. Was feeling flu-like symptoms. After being looked at and diagnosed. A prescription was called in to my pharmacy. That was at 4:00pm and by 8:00pm started feeling better. All this on a Sunday.

Things have changed since I last went there for a covid test. In 2020 they tested me and then came in to give me the results today they put me in the room and they said that I would be tested at the request of the doctor once he came in. I expressed that I was not angry but that my husband has Parkinsons and was at home and needed my care and I had already been there 2 hours so I had to go. The tech in the back on the computer outside the room that I was in was rude because she thought I was trying to push forward on someone else I said no I simply have to go.

The reason for the 3 is the attending physician Kimberly Kelly, NP waived a light in my face with no thorough review and she was very cold. She gave me 4 prescriptions and hopefully they clear up this so called acute pharyngitis, unspecified. I got swabbed for covid, flu, and strep which came back negative. She never looked in my nose, ear, or throat. I told her something popped in my nose and puss and blood came out she looked at me smuggly and said that was just a mucus plug. Well explain to me why my nose is still hurting? If I tell you that my nose, ear, and throat is hurting, why would you not look at them? I am no doctor, but I have a Masters degree in Health Informatics and Analytics and have done so much research on the treatment and repeat admissions due to physicians not being thorough. Kimberly Kelly, NP you need to do better with making your patients feel heard and important. Other than that, my experience with the other staff was magnificent!

My nurse, Shan, and NP, Brandi, were very kind and angels today. It helps to have a sympathetic ear and friendly face when you are not feeling well. They listened to me and kept me updated on my wait and why I was feeling bad. I would definitely recommend these two if you need urgent care.

The staff and NP at this location are top notch! They are absolutely the greatest of the great! This was my first visit outside of the pediatrician for my 10 year old son, so I was a tad nervous, but the staff and NP at this location made us so comfortable! They put my child at ease with their kindness and a big smile, making a not so good sick visit very pleasant! The flu, Covid, and strep tests that were taken are tough, but they made them bearable. Laquitta Shannon is the absolute best!!! I came into the office having knee issues and asked some young lady at the front desk about assisting me with a wheel chair to relieve pressure off of my knee while walking back and forth to the window and was told that I could not have one due to no one at the office being allowed to push me and Im not allowed to push myself. Ms. Shannon showed me so much grace and gave me assistance with a wheel chair. Ms. Shannon check on me and made sure that my visit was comfortable. The wait time was not too bad. I was seen in a timely manner and the doctor on staff was great also. Thank the Most Highest that she took the time to make sure that I was okay.

I like the overall quality of service but I registered at 12:35 pm. I did not leave until after 4:00 pm. I wasnt very busy. Thats to long. I love the nurse practioner. She is very knowledgeable. She made me feel like I could be open with her. She is Great. The staff was very professional. The nurse was great. I got two shots, the nurse gave so instructions and didnt feel anything and was not very sore afterwards. The facility was very clean. I will return when needed.

Little expensive for a DOT physical at $175 but overall good experience. In and out within a hour.

I believe I received the help that I needed though I feel like I had to advocate for myself to get what I needed. I was treated like a free clinic patient. Not to be offensive but the service was a tad off for me.

I was checked in and taken back to a room in less than 30 minutes! The Nurse Practitioner was in my room 5 minutes later with a treatment plan. Lashan was great and made me feel like a family member! I will definitely be back for my urgent care needs.
