As a veteran, working with civilian contracts can be interesting. This was the most pleasurable experience so far. The staff were well prepared and mereen (the nurse practitioner) was very knowledgeable and friendly. As a paraplegic I even noticed subtle actions that displayed her advanced training in dealing with people of different abilities. I appreciated everything they did for me and will definitely use them again.

I was a patient of this location last night. From the moment we walked in Quin was so sweet. My nurse was Mariel and my doctor was Raven Ayers.These two ladies worked together wonderfully and professionally to address my problem. Raven went the extra mile to show me how to put the bandage on correctly.From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable and important.I will certainly go back there and recommend this location to anyone.

Im from Florida and needed an Urgent Care, my daughter took me to the nearest one. I have got to say, for being out of state my check in went smoothly and the young lady was pleasant. I didnt have to wait long to see the Doctor, whom was very nice and thorough. I would recommend this Health Care Express Urgent Care⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My doctor was a woman and she was great. So sweet, knowledgeable, and kind. I was very impressed and didn’t have to wait long before seeing Dr. I highly recommend!!!!

Mylene , Taylor the Receptionist were all just Wonderful, Very caring down to earth they really listen to what you had to say and how you feel. I would definitely recommend this healthcare express. I had a wonderful experience today even though I felt bad Physically , they made me feel better. Keep up the good work you all are an awesome team. I will definitely spread the word about you all.

Healthcare Express is our first choice for quick urgent care. Everyone there is always nice and willing to help in any way. We were helped quickly and the nurse and doctor were great and very thorough. When we need help again, we will definitely be back.

I am new to the area, I am unemployed and I don’t have insurance. 2 months ago I visited Urgent Care to get a few prescriptions. The initial visit went fine and I was given the prescriptions I needed. The prescriptions that I was given were only good for two months. When the prescriptions were about to run out I called Urgent Care to get them refilled. Urgent Care would not refill the prescriptions until/unless I paid for another office visit which would cost $150. I contemplated going back or not and finally decided to because I needed the prescriptions to keep a level head. It might be common practice to require this visit, but I will never understand why I had to pay this $150 to get prescriptions refilled. If I had insurance I would not have started it. I just felt like I was caught in a system and that I had to pay money I didn’t really have to stay in. Ultimately, I am not at all happy with Urgent Care. It will be hard to go back!!

The service was fine but the payment on file so they can get what ever balance the insurance doesn’t pay is a little bull shit I always paid what ever it was through online bill pay through my bank it’s easier to pay a little so all my biller’s get a slice of the pie rather than some not getting nothing because of there new policies probably my last x there on the hunt for a new doctor

Very support of veterans. The female doctor had seen us previously and remembered us. She was very helpful and insisted we go to the ER proved to be a lifesaver.

Wouldn’t see my daughter because they needed records from her PCP… Every Dr office is closed due to weather & my TWO year old daughter has a 101 fever. Please stop calling yourself an urgent care when you don’t even care to help a sick child. Pathetic.

My visit was in and out. Not a long wait. I was seen within 7 minutes after arriving. The doctor diagnosed my reason for visiting, provided very good information regarding diagnosis and prescribed medication. Definitely recommend using Healthcare Express for any and most illnesses.

Was able to get in at 8:15 on a weekday morning (immediately) which was a huge plus. However, they called the prescription in to the wrong pharmacy, then argued with me about what I told them. Took 3 phone calls and long holds to get it straight and the last person I spoke to was extremely rude and not helpful. Told me the pharmacy had it wrong because they dont have THEIR stuff together, but Healthcare Express had THEIR stuff together. So, they tried to put the blame on me and the pharmacy. Then voila 45 min later got a text from Walgreens on Stateline (the correct pharmacy) that my prescription was ready (4:15 pm). The nurse at HCE never bothered to call me back to make sure I got the prescription. They also REQUIRE A CREDIT CARD ON FILE to be seen by a provider (under the pretense of if you have a refund coming, they have a credit card to put it on). How many refunds have you ever gotten from a doctors office? Be willing to bet not many!! And you sign a release that they have authorization to charge any balance, with a few days notice. They literally were going to turn away patients checking in in front of me because they didnt want to give them their credit card info. Not a great experience, especially when you are sick. Very disappointing.

I am an Air Force disabled vet. The VA sent me here. RN Mylena Taylor is thee most unprofessional person ever. This is not the first time I have had to deal with her attitude. Not only did she come into my room with an attitude, but she also yelled and lied. When, I asked her questions, she had a problem providing answers. Not only did she storm out of the room, she also let me know she was not going to deal with me or provide services to me. After she left, I was left in my room. No one came in, so I went to the front desk and tried to speak with someone and no one would come to the window. However, I heard Nurse Mylena speaking with nurse Tyler or Taylor about me and lying on my name about how I’m the one who had an attitude and how she was going to be emailing someone about having me banned. Banned for what???? The attitude you had as soon as you saw me as you came in my room? Mylena then came out of the office while I was speaking to Taylor about speaking with a supervisor. Mylena began saying loudly, she isn’t welcomed here. She needs to leave. Taylor came to me and told me, “in order to diffuse the situation, just leave”. Like what?!!!! If you are in need a doctor with a professional atmosphere, please spare yourself the headache and go elsewhere. Oh, I forgot to add, I recorded the entire interaction, so I will be taking this to corporate and possibly court.

Generally, I think the Arkansas BLVd location is great. My experiencthis yesterday was not good. There was no one at the clinic when I got there and checked in. Within 5 mins another couple came in and then about 5 mins later another person came in. Within about 10 mins both the people who came in after me was called, so I went to the window and ask if I got put in. The female receptionist was extremely rude and said it didnt really matter bc she was looking at the screen and we were all within 3mins apart. I tried to stay calm and said actually it does matter bc I was there first and now being seen behind two other patients would likely leave me waiting an hour or more. The fact she was so rude left me puzzled. The NP heard the conversation and came and got me herself and apologized, which I really appreciated. Her professionalism and her commitment to addressing the issue with the receptionist showed her level of care. If I were rating her separate as the experience I would say a 5.The other issue that bothers me is how caddy the receptionist is when they ask you why you in to see a doctor in front of the other patients in line. This seems to ride the line of HIPAA privacy rule.Basically requiring you give your private information in front of a crowd.

I went with my friend to HCE, I wasnt the patient but I did have a great experience. The wait time wasn’t bad at all, the provider mylene was amazing you can tell she’s really passionate about her job. 10/10 recommend

Fastest I’ve ever been in to see a Doc. Paperwork was already completed in system. Within mins was called back to the exam room. Doc was great - Informative and had a treatment for issue. Highly recommend.

20+ min wait despite being the only one there. Person in the back wanted to run several expensive tests and when I declined kept saying the medicine she’s gonna call in may or may not work etc and kept listing various side effects that could occur. I left feeling confused and not in the best mood.

Had me seeing the PA very quick, pretty much in and out. My symptoms seem to be getting better and medication working so Id give it an A on diagnosis. Hopefully I wont need an urgent care but if I do Ill definitely be back.

I recently moved to this area and was unfamiliar with the doctors and specialists. I came in for two dofferent sick visits, and my experience went so well I decided to use them for a wellness checkup. Each receptionist, nurse, snd doctor I encountered was professional, attentive, and compassionate. Furthermore, I needed referral services and they were on top up it. I didnt have to follow up, rather the referralservices contacted me.

My wife came down with Covid on July 27. She had it really bad with a headache and just feeling crappy. On Friday I felt out of sorts with a headache(I haven’t had a headache in 35 years). I went Health care express on Arkansas Blvd. I was seen promptly and I tested positive for Covid also. I haven’t had a bad case of it…but glad I went there before the weekend.

The physician listened to my concerns about my health and provided the necessary treatment that was needed. I will definitely use the clinic again when I am sick.

Sometimes HCE can be hit or miss on the scale but ive been pretty impressed with the nurses and Ms. Mylene (APRN/MD)(sp?) This last time was super impressive, thorough, and attentive.

Always in and out quickly. They really listen to whatever I have going on and find the best way to fix me up. I love going here. Ill never go anywhere else

Nurse Ginger or Jennifer (i have a bad memory ) was freaking awesome!! The staff here was so friendly when you walk into the room you can smell the alcohol so you know they are sanitizing!! Front desk was so very kind and she was quick with getting all the information in the system. I will definitely be back to this facility and will recommend to EVERYONE

Very pleasant experience. Registered online and was able to quickly be called back and the check-out was very quickly accomplished also. The medical care was excellent. The prescription was picked up on the way home and I was able to start my prescribed antibiotics to alleviate the swelling and pain. I would not hesitate to return if I should need urgent care in the future.

Went on a Saturday morning with my child for strep throat. Everyone was friendly from front desk, nurse and doctor. They fast and efficient.

Everything, Other than the COVID TEST, was acceptable. I dont think any one needs to dig up in your brain to get a swab. Ive been tested before, and the nurse did not jam the swab up my nostrils. She swabbed the lower part of my nose. It doesnt take all that digging to get a swab. BUT, as I said, other than that, everyone was friendly, helpful, and understanding. Have a blessed rest of your day

Usually very well taken care of but not today someone needs bedside manner lessons and an attitude adjustment.I understand being busy and overwhelmed but you dont have to be rude and crude to me let alone my 8yr old. Since when do we have to inform the doctor or np to check our kids nose and throat after being tested for flu? Total waste of time 😕

I went here late on a Friday night for Covid symptoms. I was taken care of quickly. Jalisa was my nurse, and Jennifer was my NP. Both were very kind and professional. I appreciate that Jennifer took the time to explain my prescription to me. I would recommend them!

I arrived at around 4:30, no other patients but me. Receptionist was not friendly and acted like it was a bother to sign me in. Terrible customer service and unprofessional. Somehow my husbands meds were listed in my chart which is not acceptable! I went in with flu or Covid symptoms and the Nurse Practitioner was in a dead rush to get me out the door. She examined my ears and that was it. She didn’t ask me what all symptoms I had and told me to take over the counter meds. She didn’t read my chart because she would have known I’m insulin dependent diabetic. They did test me for Covid and flu which was negative. I went in thinking I could get some medicine to help with my symptoms so I could feel good enough to go into work but I got nothing. I paid 133.00 for nothing, no exam, never even looked at my throat or listened to my chest, nothing! I will never go back. Uncaring and unprofessional.

I thought I had a UTI, got tested for that and was also asked if I wanted an std test, I said no at first,but then was like you know what go ahead. It was just a UTI, symptoms cleared up immediately, and they still called to read the results. Better to have peace of mind Loved it, nice and friendly staff and affordable.

The Receptionist Quinshayla was extremely pleasant, warm and inviting.

Went this weekend in an emergency to have my husbands hand stitched after a bad cut. They were so fast and efficient. Kind and so friendly we were in and out in half an hour. The next day my son had to go for an ear infection and the same quick, friendly service. Highly recommend this location.

All the staff was very efficient, friendly and kind. I was treated as if l mattered, not just another patient to process.

5 stars specifically for Jennifer Rowe. She is the absolute best thing about Healthcare Express. I am always so thankful when I get to see her for my visits. She meets you with a smiling face and takes care of you efficiently and effectively. I wish she was a PCP sooooo badly.

Nice staff, clean building, but the wait time is insane. I understand there will always be a wait, especially at an urgent care clinic, but almost 3 hours in the building and we had to leave before even getting all of the test results. If we were able to stay probably wouldve been there another hour

This place is great! Very clean & the folks there were kind & helpful. I was traveling from Tennessee to Texas & didn’t feel well enough to continue driving the next day. I was able to make an appointment and it was a bit of a wait because they were very busy due to Covid testing and let everyone know the circumstances & wait times. Most of the clientele was patient & understanding while waiting.

Job well done. Still feeling rough was tested for several things. Clear on all. Just bad sinus issues.

Checked in online at 3:45, for a 4pm booked appt. The app told me the front desk was notified of my arrival and I was checked in. At 4:30, after no acknowledgement I went to the desk to ensure they were aware I was there. They were not. I was assured Id be seen shortly-- an hour later I was taken to a room. They quickly did a strep test on me, and what typically is a 15 min read, turned into waiting until 7:50 (10 min before they close) for a PA to come to my room. In the interim, not 1 visit, not 1 person to even poke a head in the door. As the PA bounced in, she said, How are you this evening? full of joy. I responded that Id been there since 3:45, thats how Id been. She immediately retorted that others had also waited 3 hrs to be seen, seemingly to miscalculate my wait from the 4+ hrs since check in. Interestingly enough, as I was quickly ushered out after a 5 min eval, there were only 2 rooms left with patients still inside. Meaning, alllllllllllllllllll the patients who followed after me had been seen, evaluated, and discharged prior to me. I dont have an extensive history, I didnt have a complicated issue ... so I guess I should chaulk it up to inefficiency, mismanagement, and poor clinical control.The emotional intelligence of the staff members I dealt with was a solid 1 on a 1-10 scale.

Staff was polite but I would not call this place Express at all. I do love that its veteran owned(only reason it got 2 stars) but while sitting in my room Im listening to 2 other patients complaining on the phone over extreme wait times. I waited over an hour to go back to do a rapid covid test. After they got the samples they needed I was told 15 minutes....that 15 minutes have been up for 50 minutes before someone came back to check on me. Tried leaving but was told I had to wait for the doctor to see me before I could get my results.

Awesome experience, Great staff!!

Came in with respiratory bug and was seen quickly.

The staff from top to bottom were awesome. I felt valued and appreciated as a veteran and the service was prompt and courteous.

My care was exceptional. I went in because of high blood pressure. Turns out,I was having a mini stroke.nurse wouldnt let me leave,she called me a ambulance and probably saved my life..The doctor Jennifer is also excellent. Thank you all for your wonderful care❤

Amazing experience!! The Nurse Teresa was amazing, Shelli x-ray tech was alway smiling. DOFI Jayme was very helpful and made checking a breeze. The provider Jennifer Rowe was exceptional!!! She listened to all of my sons problems and made me feel like he was being well cared for!

Nurse was friendly and courteous. Offered me several suggestions to help me at the clinic and outside. Treated me like FAMILY

We went in yesterday evening with my 7 yr old sons chest hurting. The team rushed him back, was very personable and caring. Patricia made him feel comfortable and calmed him down. They were quick, caring and to the point. I believe we were in and out within an hour.

Everyone is always professional and patients are seen promptly. They are very organized and things run smoothly. I haven’t been to another clinic in a few years now. If you haven’t been to Healthcare Express you need to try them for your next clinic visit.They are the best!!!

I called in a flurry of emotions to see if Healthcare Express had the capability to do blood tests and write a prescription all in one day. *There is a lot of background here, but I will try and keep it short.* Ms. Teresa answered the phone. She was so understanding and had such a calming spirit and tone. She gave me a moment to calm down, and when she returned she assured me the issue could be cared for. I ended up resolving the proble at my doctors office, but no words can express the gratitude I feel for Teresa and her patience and kindness during that phone call. Thank you, Ms. Teresa!

The RN & NP were both very friendly. They were also very clear & informative about what was going on with me.

Went in at 3 pm on a Wednesday. The young lady that took my vitals, input my medical issue into the computer, and did swabs for flu and strep throat, was great. Told me the test takes about 20 minutes. Very professional and very energetic. Very, very pleased. Then everything came to end. I waited for 1 1/2 hours, and began to think I was locked in. There was no one around. I walked around, in and out of rooms, no one. I decided to go back up the front. Once there, I informed the lady I was concerned that it was taking so long, did they overlook me? She said she would get someone. I went back into “my room”, and waited 30 more minutes. Nothing, no one, not a soul, came in to check on me. Needing to pick up my 7 year old, I wrote out a short note explaining and left a telephone #. As I left I told the lady up front that no ever showed up to check about me. She just shrugged me off, and went back to her computer. I did finally see 3 people. They looked like billing clerks. No Dr., no PA, no Nurse. I will not go back and I promise to tell everyone about my experience so they don’t waste time, and money to be stuck in a room with their name written on the door. I was glad they didn’t leave the marker. I might have expressed my “feelings”. New name .......”Spend your day with us—Healthcare”

Well, today I had the misfortune of slashing a deep cut in my hand. They got me in fast, they were very caring and professional. They made me very comfortable and got me an ice pack and pillow. They fixed me right up. I highly recommend!! Thanks, ladies for fixing me up and giving me a verbal restriction on doing dishes !

Amazingly nice people!! They listen to you! They have a wide knowledge about the body’s workings. They are the only place I go to for health care!!

It took them no time to get me in and out. I got thr medicine that i neeeded.

Although the wait was extremely long I received the best care . The staff is very compassionate I highly recommend Health Care Express.
