If I could give zero stars I would. They refuse to schedule me because I had an anxiety attack in the office. There were no questions on if it was a victim of anything that would make me uncomfortable to have a pelvic exam. terrible inconsiderate company. Truly an abomination to womens health.
I would only recommend Womens Health Specialists if you blindly, and without question, follow the doctors orders. If thats not you, Id avoid this practice. I came here a few times for routine check ups as a healthy individual and minor issues that were visible and could be diagnosed and treated same day, basically evaluations and treatments I wouldnt oppose as a patient since they were very cut and dry. My final visit included issues that were unfamiliar and ambiguous to me at the time so naturally, I had more questions. The staff and doctors werent receptive to questions, were dismissive, unprofessional, came off incredibly condescending, and are either ignorant of HIPAA rules or just didnt want to follow them based on numerous recorded conversations I had with them about my medical records. I ended up filing a complaint with the Georgia Composite Medical Board. Id heed the warnings of the average to negative reviews since they’re the majority and boil down to the same complaints: rude, condescending, and dismissive.
I feel like they really don’t care about you during the birth and after birth process. They treated me like a burden at the hospital and I know they aren’t responsible for the hospital staff but the doctor was very cold toward me. After I gave birth she came in and said see you in 6 weeks…. I just ruined my insides and out and you want to wait 6 weeks to see me. I need help before that! I had to go in because of severe tearing and pulling from a stitch and I was only given enough pain medicine for 2 days following birth. How horrible. My whole experience was just awful. I’ll be going to another doctor for my next birth. There is so much more to my experience that I left out but long story short. Terrible.
I unfortunately had such a bad pregnancy experience going here and will not be going back. I was scheduled to see nobody except Mandy, who doesn’t even deliver babies. She was always pretty dismissive and was never any help at all when I had concerns or questions. I actually had to get help from other moms in my Facebook due date group who had been given advice from THEIR providers. At my 20 week appointment, I asked the nurse if I would be seeing any of the actual doctors and she told me to request it when I scheduled my next appointment because sometimes women go into labor without meeting any of the doctors. At my last practice, I cycled through every doctor multiple times over the 40 weeks so I would be familiar with whoever would be delivering my baby. When I questioned and requested this, the girl booking the appointment was not friendly AT ALL and made it sound like it was basically impossible to see an actual doctor. She said I would pretty much only be seeing Mandy (NP, I think) or Amanda (midwife). She very reluctantly scheduled me to see Dr.Christ, who I did like. That was the only visit with any doctor. Every other visit until the end was still with Mandy, which I dreaded, until I was finally scheduled to see Amanda and requested her from then forward. The only reason I’m giving more than 1 star is because Amanda and the ultrasound techs were awesome. I was able to schedule an induction (the lady in charge of that was also not friendly at all) to insure Amanda would be the one to deliver my baby. I definitely do NOT recommend this practice for obstetrics if you want guidance or to meet / know who will be delivering your baby.
Dr. Singh is absolutely the best. Great bedside manner and takes time to discuss concerns. The office staff have all been courteous and professional.
Almost all of the staff are friendly (unfortunately, not all of them, but I choose to focus on the positive). Those who are friendly are truly sweet and they genuinely make a pregnant mothers life even happier. I admire those people who dont dehumanize a situation just because they deal with the same cases many times a day, Thank you for that WHS! I had my daughter on October 2, 2021, and she couldnt be more perfect! Unfortunately, when I gave birth, the doctor who attended to me was someone I had never seen in my life (but she was on duty). It would be great to give birth with the help of the doctors who cared for you during your pregnancy.
I loved Dr.Simpson Jones. She was so awesome and comforting. Loved the staff especially the beautiful young lady they usually have in the vestibule signing you in . Always a sweet greeting. People always have time to complain and don’t usually take the time to give praise . Loved them 🙏🏽
I have been going to Women’s Health Specialists for annual care and now OB care for the last year now after moving here from out of state. All of the office staff I have encountered have always been so friendly. I’ve seen Dr. Singh, Dr. Christ and both CNMs Amanda and Mandy and they are all wonderful! All of them are friendly, caring and have great bedside manner, and I never feel like they’re rushing through my appointment. Anytime I leave a message on the nurse line with questions, I get called back within a couple hours. I would definitely recommend this office!
I wish I could give 0 stars I have been going to them for years and besides some issues with billing here and there, I’ve never had a problem with them but after my visit today it made me never want to go back. As someone who has been going through infertility and who has basically had to advocate for myself I don’t appreciate my concerns being ignored or being dismissed. And feeling like I once again wasted my time because no progress was made and when I did express concern that the treatment plan Dr Crist made was excessive I was told well that’s what it’s gonna take to get this started and most women in your situation don’t come here they go see a infertility specialist. Who talks to their patient that way? And after that the lady who took my blood when she told me the out of pocket I checked my phone really quick-I was keeping my husband updated on my situation she goes you don’t have to worry about moving money over, this payment won’t come out today, I’m sorry excuse me? I can afford to pay for treatment you don’t need to make those kind of assumptions. I hope this review helps anyone in the future and encourages them to find help elsewhere.
This place is horrible. I am calling to make appointment. Never mind this place is racist and horrible.
I was being seen for months with the same issue and they could not give me a diagnosis after multiple exams and ultrasounds. The doctor was always disregarding my statements and made me feel like I was crazy when i knew something was wrong. I was recommended to see a doctor at another facility and with one ultrasound I was told me what was wrong and turns out I needed to have surgery to resolve the issue. Never again.
The worse people working in the front office. Tannia is the most nasty on the phone. I am sorry for the doctors because they are great. But the front desk is why you have 3 stars and loosing long-time patients like me. Tannia wouldnt even let my insurrance mediator talk for a minute to explain. Dr. Cornelius and Dr. Mackintosh are great, and they should know that they are losing patients for the nasty staff they have.To them, you are a number and nothing else... find you a better office where you feel welcome and they talk to you like you matter. In 11 years, they went from great to trash.
I had birth control refills available. I requested my refill as I do every month because I still have plenty refills available. Dr. Singh rejected my refill because she wanted me to come in for an appointment yet I was not notified. The pharmacist at Publix had to tell me this. I requested the refill yesterday evening (Thursday) and she rejected it today (Friday). The appointment being needed isnt the issue its the fact that I was not called to be made aware of this. She couldve authorized one last one then the office couldve let me know that I will need to make an appointment or they couldve notified me last month or even last week, but instead they abruptly cancelled it. This is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. All for a copay?
I have been seen by two doctors in this location for over 17 years.. The only one from the two that is the BEST is Dr. McIntosh... She is so honest, hard worker, super friendly and very PROFESSIONAL! She took care if me like no one ever have before. I was so sick and she took care of me and operated on me with so much respect, honestly and with so much professionalism! I trust my life with Dr. McIntosh! I feel safe with her.The staff, there is only one front desk attendant that has been rude to me for a few times. Other than that. I love this place. I recommend this place all the time!!🙏👍
Womens Health Specialists delivered my first baby boy almost 10 years ago, then my second a little over a year ago. Through all the trials that Covid has brought upon us they stayed safe and available for any questions or needs. They have always been very empathetic to any concerns and had great attention to detail in all my experiences! I have seen multiple doctors within the practice and met multiple staff members throughout my years there and everyone is so caring and kind! Having experience working front desk in the medical field and knowing all the background work and preparation that goes into making sure you are seen and your insurance is verified --- wait time is no where near out of the ordinary for all the work and preparation that is taken into account for an appointment. They have always greeted me with smiles and made me feel safe and heard. Thank you Womens Health Specialists!
This practice is absolutely phenomenal. I have been seeing Dr. Christ for many years as well as throughout both of my pregnancies and she is absolutely wonderful. She takes such personalized care and truly cares about her patients and takes the time to listen. From the physicians to the front office staff, I have nothing but positive things to say! 10/10 recommend Womens Health Specialists to my family and friends!
My experience was beyond AMAZING!!! They really cared for me during my first maternity visit and throughout my journey of having my son as a first time mom. I was so nervous because I had a not so pleasant experience at another location. When I was referred to to this Practice they made me feel so comfortable during all my ultrasounds, weekly doctor visits and even the moments I had minor complications. Mrs. Terri Crowe really was there for me and made me feel so comfortable and the doctor that delivered my son, Dr Cornelius was so friendly and had great bedside manners. I recommend this place to any mom that is expecting! They really are professional and really care about their patients. Thank you so much Womens Health Specialists
I’ve been here the past few years and recently was seen with my first pregnancy. Usually always on time with appts and are quick to call back when I had concerns after hours. The ultrasound techs were friendly and always informative. I liked all the providers I saw. Dr Singh delivered my baby and I have no complaints.
This is the most wonderful facility with caring and concerned staff as well as doctors. Each doctor is knowledgeable, the bedside manner is wonderful and all three of my daughters were delivered by the women midwives and doctors here. They are very quick to respond to issues and will find an appointment if you need one. I recommend this place to any woman of any age.It is also very convenient that the imagining for mammography is downstairs so its really a one stop shop.
I am a new patient at this practice, but my family has been using them for years and loves their Doctor! I personally had a great experience with Dr. Simpson-Jones! She answered all of my questions and had a wonderful bedside manner. I will be asking for her from now on! I also got to see her at the Locust Grove location which was very convenient for me.
This review is solely based on Melani Patrice Cornelius-Sanders, MD.I sought out Dr. Sanders be she was a black woman OBGYN near me. I went in to check on a cyst I previously knew of. Found out 1 cyst turned to 2 cysts and they were pretty large and I needed surgery.Initial visit (August 2022) *Stockbridge location*- vaginal ultrasound was done and it was determined I had 2 cysts and they were rather large.-surgery was discussed as being necessary. I indicated I would like for the procedure to take place this year.*A few days later I get a call indicating available surgery days and times. Scheduled a biopsy appointment as well during this time. I specifically asked how long the appointment would be and take because I knew I had a cross town appointment the same day I could not be late for. Was assured it wouldn’t take longer than 30 min and I would be in and out and to ensure I make my appointment I was offered the very first appointment of the morning.Biopsy (late August- early September 2022) *This was at the locust grove location*-arrived as the very first appointment for the morning. Was there early. Sat in the waiting room for about 20 min. I am called back and told as I’m walking back the doctor is running late. I asked (in a frustrated tone) why I wasn’t informed when I arrived at my appointment. The nurse nonchalantly stated these things happen. I told her I understood and reminded her that open communication (while I was sitting in the waiting room) would have been the professional way to handle this situation.#This was a red flag but I allowed it to go on because I’m focused on getting my mind ready for surgery.Pre Op (early September 2022) *locust grove- come in, go over paperwork. I read over the procedure paperwork throughly as I am sitting in the exam room awaiting the doctor to come in.- I have a list of questions about the surgery, her success rate, what her plan of action is if I have to be switched from vaginal hysterectomy to being cut open, etc. for Dr. Sanders. As I am going through the questions, I can tell Dr. Sanders becomes irritated. It’s as if I am not supposed to ask anything and I should just sign and shut up.One notable interaction that sticks out to me is when she is going over how she will preform the surgery and she mentions “I will make an incision in your vagina to get the uterus out” I state, “oh I didn’t know you had to cut me (my vagina)” Dr. Sanders states and I quote, “Well how else am I supposed to get it out?” (With such a smug and arrogant tone) I ended with, “Well I don’t know that’s why I asked”.#The entire post op appointment was extremely off putting and a red flag but again, I let it go because my survey was 4 days away.-I go to the front and ask if there was anything else needed from me or that I needed to know. I was told I had everything and to be sure I bring my paperwork with me for surgery.-I left*** 5 minutes after I leave the clinic I receive a phone call from Dr. Sanders’ office. The young lady on the phone was the same receptionist I had just spoken with prior to leaving. She tells me the survey cost. I thank her and pause… she says to me I have to pay it today. Shocked and confused I asked why when I have insurance. She transferred me to billing. I was told that you have to pay the hospital fees up front and they are due the date of the pre op appointment. This was red flag number three and the one that caused me to cancel the entire surgery. Not once was I told I would have to pay anything the day of my pre op appointment. In summary:-Women’s health specialists lack clear communication with their patients.-Dr. Sanders’ bedside manner is nonexistent and she really does a wonderful job at making patients feel as uncomfortable as possible.-Just remembered this gem (The reception staff at the Stockbridge location talk BAD about patients and because the front is open everyone can hear it.) In light of the recent TikTok ‘icks video from the Emory nursing staff, I’d thought I let it be known they do it here too.0/10
I was a patient here for over 4 years. Unfortunately, our family moved away, but I have only positive things to say about this practice. I would like to say that I really miss Dr. Singh. She is very professional, caring, knowledgeable, and attentive to her patients needs. She helped me through my challenging pregnancy and delivered our beautiful daughter safely. I will always be thankful for her skills and advice!
I was an out of state OB transfer at 24 weeks and have had a wonderful experience. The Drs, nurses and rest of the staff have been accommodating. Being high risk you want a Dr who will listen to your concerns and who will advocate for you and your baby. I would recommend this office to any friend or family!
Dr. Sanders and Dr. Singh were the best source of support during my pregnancy. I can honestly admit I was not the best patient, but they were there for me. Dr. Sanders and Dr. Singh were very thorough during my check-ups/annuals and took the necessary measures to ensure my needs were met. Its been 3 years, but I am trying my best to return to their practice.
Update: I am no longer shocked by the bad reviews. I have been calling this office for months trying to get a refill on a medication and have yet to get past the answering service which under no circumstances deals with refills. This is no reflection on Dr. McIntosh, but the office staff cannot run an office. It is impossible to get through to them and I just have been without prescriptions for a month. Not okay & honestly as happy as I am with my doctor, I’m just as unhappy with the way the office is run.I honestly am kind of shocked to read the bad reviews for this office. I shopped around at a lot of different places before I found Dr. McIntosh and now I can’t imagine ever seeing anyone else. She is ALWAYS so patient with me and answers every question I have in a caring and genuine way. I can’t speak for the other doctors, but mine is wonderful.
I was referred to this office 3 years ago by a few friends when my former doctor retired. I was so nervous but from the time I walked in until now the staff of all women, they made me feel welcome and they just get it. Dr. Cornelius was the initial doctor I meant with and she helped me on the start of my fertility journey and now we’re 2 babies in! Now I’ve grown to love Amanda and Dr. Chris as well. I can’t leave out the ladies of thr front desk they are all so sweet and kind but Janeen always remembers my name, my preferences, & ask about me & my family. Her genuineness is one of the reasons I’ll continue to come back to the practice.
The doctors are knowledgeable and caring. The staff is very friendly and caring. My wait time has never been long and I appreciate the time the doctors give you while in the room, I have never felt rushed while attending an appointment. I would recommend this office to my family and friends!
They cared for me when i was pregnant with my son 3yrs ago. I was high risk & felt like they took the best care of me.Professional staff & doctors. Dr. Sanders delivered my son via csection. She walked me thru the scary process & made me feel at ease.
Had a very pleasant experience here. I saw Dr. Cornelius-Sanders for my annual exam. The staff was pleasant and friendly. They were respectful of my time. The doctor made me feel very comfortable. She took the time to answer my questions and relieve my anxiety.
I have always had wonderful experiences. They were amazing when I had my twins. They have been great with me and very patient. They always work me in for an appointment. They are very friendly and caring. I always feel at ease and like I am with friends. They have been helpful and understanding with any issues I have. I would highly recommend.
I have been going here for about a decade and had good experiences in the past but the last year has been terrible with them. I had my 3rd baby with them recently and the front staff was terrible. There were a couple times I left my insurance card while rushing and they acted as if I couldn’t been seen even though the card I used the previous week was the same. Not to mention I had an high risk pregnancy and had recently lost my father so when they tried to schedule my C-section early on my dad’s birthday, I asked if we could schedule it a day or two after. The Dr said, I needed to get over my daddy issues. I was so upset I walked out crying but it was to late to switch dr offices because it was so late in my pregnancy.
I have gone to this office for almost 19 years and have been totally impressed with the doctors and staff. Dr McIntosh and Dr Cornelius have assisted me with staying healthy and are always available when needed. It’s hard to find a office that takes the extra steps in making sure their patients are safe and environment is clean. The office staff is kind and helpful.
Im not usually one to leave reviews but just left my appointment and felt compelled. I love this place, the doctors and the staff are wonderful! For starters, I showed up today when my appointment was scheduled for tomorrow (which was of no ones fault but my own). Not only did they work me in today anyway, I wasnt rushed or felt like an inconvenience, and still had the same great experience. In the 17+ years I have been coming here, I have gotten to know all of the doctors and staff, many of which have been there since the beginning. In the world we live in today, it is rare to get this type of service and even rarer to see the same smiling faces from appt to appt. Thank you Womens Health Specialists for always having my back and never making me feel like just another Jane Doe appointment on the schedule! ☺️
I delivered my first baby with this practice and am pregnant with my second. I think they provide excellent care during pregnancy. They listen to me and take care of both my baby and myself. I think the appointments are the appropriate amount of time and Ive never had a problem with any of the doctors or midwives staying with me a bit longer to answer any questions my husband or I have. They know that I want minimal intervention and work to balance my desires with my Healthcare needs. They dont push care on me that I dont need and have explained everything they recommend in plain English. I know they expect payment up front and that can be tricky if you are pregnant over 2 different years (like I changed insurance during my first pregnancy and had to get a refund because the new insurance was less expensive), but that really is more about your ability to communicate with them your financial situation and set up a plan that works for you and them. I found that they were willing to work with us when we set up our payments. I love this practice for obstetrics.
I have trusted womens health specialist with two pregnancies now, and could never ever see myself using another staff during pregnancy. From the second you walk in the door, to checking in, to labs, getting checked out, ect. All of the staff is so welcoming and friendly. Summer is amazing, always super informative and friendly! Amanda delivered my daughter and she was amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone, it definitely has made my experiences with my las two pregnancies easy, no stress at all, and they were always so helpful! Love this place.
I’ve been going to Womens health specialist since my first pregnancy in 2016. From my first phone conversation to setup an appointment to my first visit was amazing. The front desk staff as well as every nurse and doctor are very professional and they make you feel like you are part of their family. For both of my pregnancies I saw Dr. Melani Cornelius-Sanders and she is the best. Any questions or concerns that you may have she will answer and ease your mind so that you can focus on the main goal and that’s you and baby! One of the best things about Womens health Specialist is even of your doctor is not available they know exactly what your needs are because they communicate to make sure you have the best care all around.
I began going to this office after I found out I was pregnant, but miscarried. When I went to the office I was worked in the same day without a wait (but had never been there before). I saw Dr. Melani Cornelius-Sanders. She was very patient and answered all my questions before I asked any. While I was there she also did a ultrasound and was very through. I have been back many times for routine PAP and blood work. I have had a great experience every time. All of the staff, nurses and doctors have been very courteous and professional. I have had to rarely wait more than 15 minutes for all appointments. As a doctor myself, my time is very valuable and they value my time as much as I do. I schedule most of my appointments on my lunch break and have never been late back to work even with a 30 minute drive to their office. I would highly recommend this office.
Going to the OBGYN doctor is something a woman dreads every year. This practice has great hospitality and all of the staff are very helpful and friendly. Morgan McDevitt went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and she was very reassuring. I would recommend this practice to my family and friends.
Lost medical records with incredibly sensitive information that I had physically brought in on my previous visit. Staff made a copy & passed around like a hot potato while I was there but it apparently never made it into my chart? Sloppy. 40+ min waits past appt time even right after opening. Wanted to collect my estimated delivery co-pay 7 months before delivery - not even same calendar year and despite fact I hit max out of pocket early every single year. I’ll “eventually” be given a refund after delivery if that’s the case.I told the office manager Sabrina I had a negative experience (she didnt bother to ask or seem to care) and that I needed my records expedited to my new provider. I filled out and faxed my request form and sent emails and left messages over the past 2 days asking for confirmation that it was being taken care of but nobody responded. This is not an establishment I would trust with my delicate lady parts or a newborn.
There is no care or concern for the patient here. I had my annual visit and the doctor was in with me maybe 10 minutes. While I addressed my concerns to her she was very dismissive and said let’s do your exam. The exam was quick and she was out of the room. How can a health professional give a detailed health plan without doing a proper check??? I’m finding another gynecologist to visit. Definitely won’t be returning back here.
I do not recommend this place. The doctors and nurses do not listen and recommend medication and surgery instead of running test to find the problem. They are very dismissive. Dr. Mcintosh was very rushed when speaking with me, she kept saying what next, who talks like that. You are in charge of your body. You know what you feel. Horrible experience. Waste of my time. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else or come here and be treated like a child. Also they are very disorganized. Good luck trying to get your information. If you are pregnant for your baby sake go to a place that will care about you and your baby. If they are not listening, how can they help you.
These people are very unprofessional and unorganized. I scheduled an appointment for my annual check up a year in advance. A week before my appointment they called me to change it, then they called 2 more times within the same week to change it yet again! The day of my appointment i got there early to have enough time to fill out their paper work , i was checked in and then sent to one of their rooms to wait for Dr. Amanda Thompson. I sat there and waited an hour to be seen. No one showed up, no one had the courtesy to go in that room and apologize for the delay. I had to return to work, i got up, put my clothes back on, and left. The lady at the check out desk was not nice, i asked her to cancel everything. She sarcastically asked me if i wanted to reschedule my appointment. Go somewhere else! these people do not care about their patients.
I went out of town due to a tragic unexpected death in the family and came back home to a letter in the mail that I was being dropped from their practice with no real explanation. I even called and advised scheduling that I needed to reschedule because I missed an appointment due to a death in the family. Not even a month between the missed appointment and the letter. SMH. So now not only do I have to deal with grief but Im also stuck trying to find another Dr and I just hit my 3rd trimester. I would never recommend this facility. Its look fancy and nice but the care is not there.
The staff, nurses and Dr. Cornelius are all extremely kind and caring. Dr. Cornelius took the time to explain everything to me, answers all of my many questions and truly listened to every worry I had. She was very patient with me during my procedure and communicated with me throughout the entire process, telling me step-by-step what was happening as it was happening all while making sure I was comfortable. Overall, they are very professional and patient.
I love this practice. I have never had a problem with professionalism. They are all caring. From the front desk to the Drs. Dr. Cornelius was my doctor, but I mostly saw Amanda (midwife). She delivered my baby girl in September 2015. My husband and I both felt comfortable with the both of them. Now were expecting our second and I didnt hesitate as to where to go. I immediately scheduled an appt. with Womens Health Specialist. Love this place!
We received excellent care throughout our pregnancy with our daughter in 2015 when we were referred by a friend who was also highly pleased with her experience with her pregnancy care & delivery. Our midwife was supportive of our decision to have a natural childbirth & when I had complications from a hemorrhage during delivery, she saved my life! We will be returning again soon for care during our 2nd pregnancy. The changes with insurance have made it almost impossible for the medical industry & us as the clients, so with all things considered, they are doing a wonderful job. Keep up the good work ladies!
My wife and I are having our first baby I came in as a self pay. because we are working on my wife’s immigration status. I can not say enough how great this place is. From the second time we came in everyone knew us by name the lady’s at the front desk are the best and it’s a pleasure seeing them. The doctors are so friendly. I’m so grateful to them. They’ve really to the stress off me and my wife because we know in February when our daughter comes she will be in good hands
If there were negative starts- boy! Would this place get them!! Site says they accept medicare?! DO NOT BELIEVE IT!!! We were promptly shown the door when my disabled daughter NEEDED to be seen by a doctor. WILL NEVER DARKEN THEIR DOOR AGAIN
This place is absolutely horrible! They are all about money. They billed me $500 for my sons circumcision. They failed to communicate with me to get the correct insurance information. They decided to bill my personal insurance assuming that my newborn was included in an attempt to recieve more money that what Medicaid would offer them. They waited 7 months which exceeds timeframe to bill Medicaid, then billed me to pay out of pocket during a pandemic. I knew nothing of the bill until 7 months later after the procedure. Branch manager Stephanie has no knowledge of policy or procedures. She is literally only there for a check. Billing manager is not doing her job correctly. Beware of this place.
Unfortunately definitely would not recommend horrible experience just no empathy a lot going on in that office.
Id encourage everyone to beware of dealing with this office. Their communication is poor, they leave out important information about billing, and the actual Drs have been rude to my wife on more than one occasion. Find somewhere else to give your hard-earned dollars to.
The most unprofessional office staff i have ever encountered. I went in for a first time appointment as a new patient. I explained to the woman i spoke with that my established OB was in North atlanta and we had just moved here and i was trying to find a physician I felt comfortable with in the area before establishing care and transferring. She immediately became defensive and told me she wouldn’t let me be seen unless I agreed to establish care. I asked if I could be seen just as a first time patient to meet the physician and get to know her and her care practice and she refused. Told me that I had to transfer care or they wouldn’t let me be seen. She was rude, standoffish and I would never ever transfer care to someone who doesn’t appreciate their patients. 0/10 do NOT recommend this practice for any expecting mother!
This was my first visit with this office and it was amazing. I had a 9:00 appt and was seen on time (which is usually unheard of for any doctor appt). The staff was extremely nice. And Dr Mila was AMAZING! She made me comfortable and addressed all of my questions where I could understand it. 10/10 definitely would recommend
I really dont have too many nice things to say about this place. Their phones still go to recordings after opening time so its hard to get in touch with them. They will stop answering phones early. When I tried to get in touch with the record department to get my records transferred I kept getting sent to voicemail for several days. I would leave messages with no return call. Finally I just went to my new drs office and had them take care of it! The wait is extremely long. I waited an hour and forty five minutes one day just for an ultra sound and a routine check up. The women at the front desk are very dull. I never seen the same dr, midwife, nurse twice. When they would come in the room they knew nothing about what was going on with me from prior visits and they stayed for hardly a min. They would ask if I was ok and then leave. The biggest thing was on my first visit they told me I would need to pay about $1,800 (what my insurance didnt cover) for my OB fees before my 24th week appointment. I talked to their financial person about it to see what it covered and didnt cover. I asked her is this going to cover every visit to this office until I deliver. She said yes they do most things in house but if they had to send me to somewhere like a specialist That would be different. I said ok but again made sure I wouldnt be hit with surprise charges later. So the very next visit I paid in full and GUESS WHAT?!?? At my 28 week appointment they tell me I owe over $600 more for the stuff my original $1800 didnt cover. I asked for a print off and all it had were dates, the amount my insurance paid and the amount I owed. They lady at the front desk (older lady with blonde hair) was rude couldnt give me anymore info except some of them could have been from ultrasounds. Apparently the OB fees only cover 2. I asked her why didnt they inform me this wasnt covered and why did they need to do more then the 2 when I go to a specialist once a week for ultrasounds that they send to my drs. She got real rude and said they do what is medically necessary tossed my print out onto the counter and sat down!! I transferred out of there and am very glad I did. I love my new office they are very personal. Ill see just a couple different drs and midwives over the next few weeks. Just avoid this place if you can!!!
Id honestly give 0 stars if I could. The staff was nice. The nurses asked questions and took time. The doctor on the other hand was probably one of the worst doctors I have ever had. Ive moved a lot and had to start with a new doctor several times and this by far has been the worst experience Ive ever had. In Germany they didnt even speak English and didnt do what they were supposed to do and they were hands down better than this one. She was rude and condescending. Triggered my PTSD and even though I told her I was anxious she continued the exam anyways. NEVER AGAIN.
I felt rushed off. Did not feel like I got the proper annual check up. Had several done before and doctors usually took their time to make sure nothing is missed. But not at the Womens Health Specialist, it was the complete opposite. She was in and out. Brushed off my concerns and said just keep an eye out on the concerns I mentioned. I have been keeping an eye out, which is why it is a concern now and am bringing it up!! You dont want to do anything about it but to refer me some where else. It is the wait that people usually want to avoid. But when you are actually in with the doctor, that visit should not be rushed. I completely agree to the ratings. I will be rescheduling another annual check up somewhere else cause I want to make sure it is done right in case there are any real issues that this place refuse to take the time to find.
I really love how this office stays up to date with safety guidelines and takes the precautions needed to protect me, other patients and the staff. The front desk is always professional and so kind. Also, I feel the Drs here take the time to listen and truly care.
Dr. Simpson-Jones was short with me. She came in did my exam then She left before I could talk to her about all my concerns. When I asked if she could return so I can speak to her she refused saying she was done and that she had ordered my meds. I want to say the staff was nice and attentive but not the doctor.
I have been going to this office for several years and have always felt that I was important to them. They are very kind and compassionate to their patients. Janeen at the front desk is sure to make sure you have everything you need before you leave. I would highly recommend this office!
I came here when i got pregnant and dealt with the doctors ignore my pain and dismiss me every time i came in. The office manager is no better either! She has no problem hanging up on you. Very disappointed and UPSET with this place. STAY AWAY they just want you to suffer and your money
I have been coming here for years and love the staff! They are always helpful and attentive to your needs. I’ve delivered one baby with them and currently going to deliver another with them. Such an awesome team of providers! I Highly recommend to all my friends and family.
Womens health specialist Dr. Singh was amazing. I took my 16 year old daughter there when she was having problems. My daughter was scared and Dr. Singh made her feel comfortable. Dr. Singh was caring and comforting and explained things in a way that my daughter understood. I would highly recommend this practice for all your female needs!
The physicians and nursing staff are very professional and concerned about their patients not only on a personal level but also professionally. Dr. McIntosh listened and also assisted me with setting goals for myself and my job. I credit her for helping me get my health and life back on track.
I am honestly shocked at all the negative reviews! I transferred to Womens Health Specialists after I lost my first pregnancy (at another office) at almost 20 weeks due to incompetent cervix. I did see every doctor in the practice and fell in love with Dr. Tope (who is no longer there!) during my 2nd pregnancy. Everyone is always so kind and sweet. Dr Tope even rescheduled a vacation because I really wanted her to do my C-section. Dr Cornelius performed my c-section and every doctor from the practice ended up in the delivery room before the surgery was over as I had to have my cerclage removed as well as a tubal ligation. I have since seen Dr Singh every year for my yearly and she did my ablation a year ago as well. Do not let these negative reviews deter you from coming here! Schedule the 1st appt in the morning or the first after lunch...and you will be out pretty quick...(that goes with any doctors or dental office!!)f People dont keep in mind, this is a SPECIALIST office and emergencies WILL happen!
I’m in the process of starting a family and my last OB/GYN really didn’t provide me a safe space to ask questions. That’s why I decided to seek another practice. I went to Women’s Health Specialist and I immediately felt at home with Dr. Cornelius-Sanders. She was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. My wait time was less than 15 minutes and the staff were friendly as well.
My experience at this doctors office was unfortunately the worst I have ever encountered. The staff is very very rude. They only care about themselves. Not the patients at all. I had to wait almost an hour to see my GYN. I currently have a UTI infection and they prescribed me the worst antibiotic out there. I went to get tested again for my UTI and the nurse manager told me I still had it and the nurse told me they could not get a result from the test... which made no sense. Not to mention that they I was met with a huge bill when I was there without them ever officially billing me. It is also impossible to get anyone on the phone via the nurse line. I will be switching doctors at the start of the year. Please save yourself frustration and money - do not go here!
Today I had my first visit to a OBGYN and it was the best experience ever! Dr.Christ was so nice and informative. I was nervous about getting my first Pap Smear and she walked me thru everything and was very gentle.
The reviews are absolutely correct. This has to be the worst OBGYN around. I chose to try them, for my second pregnancy, and I deeply regret that I did. I should’ve stayed with Eagles Landing OBGYN. I cringe going to every appointment, and if I wasn’t as far along, I’d switch. They do not work with your schedule when scheduling appointments. Absolutely no flexibility as if they’re paying you for a service and not the other way around. There’s always “1 opening left” when scheduling appointments. The staff are painful to even engage with — they’re all miserable and hate their jobs. What a horrendous 2nd pregnancy experience.
Please believe the low rating if you want someone attentive.. I decided to try a new GYN since my regular one decided to just start working 1 day a week. This was a terrible experience. The Dr. was with me for maybe 4-5 min. That was it. Nothing personal, just a paycheck. Im wondering if I could dispute Healthcare. I never heard anything back like if theres an issue or not. No news is good news maybe. Also, my regular GYN always did a breast exam. They did no such thing just told me to go for a mammogram. Just wasnt caring enough for such personal important care.
ABSOLUTELY the best womens health facilities around. They cared for my wife during her Complete pregnancy and they delivered our beautiful baby girl. And they are still caring for her today. ALL of the Staff (the front desk, nurses, and the doctors) are a pleasure to work with. Very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Dr Singh, Dr Christ, and Amanda Thomas, CNM took VERY Good care of my wife and answered all of our questions and concerns. I cant imagine anyone having a problem with this practice. We would HIGHLY recommend to Everyone. The GirlsDocs ROCK !!!!
I am a new patient with WHS and they are the absolute best I’ve ever been to! From their bedside manner, to listening to every concern, and truly getting to know me- it was by far the absolute best experience. I hope Dr. Christ doesn’t ever leave! :)
I started coming here when I became pregnant with my second child. I really wanted a place where I wasnt just a customer but a patient and build a relationship with the doctor who would deliver my son. It took a while to feel this here (we saw different doctors / midwives for the first 6 months or so) but we finally settled on Dr. McIntosh as our doctor. I cant really say enough good things about her. She is very skilled and caring and doesnt just brush off what I have to say. She also didnt talk to me like I was an idiot, which I definitely appreciated. This was my second c-section and everything went as planned before, during, and after. (side note - my sons pediatrician was impressed with how well Dr. McIntosh did the circumcision. haha!)
Women’s literally made me feel so comfortable and less worrisome as a first time mom . All of the staff always have smiles on their faces and are always so welcoming ! Love this practice and definitely recommend coming to the girldocs !
I was scheduled to have a procedure that required sedation (that wasnt explained initially, but keep reading...) Since I have NEVER had sedation, EVER, I had some questions. STEPHANIE HENSON, the surgical coordinator called to tell me about the procedure on 4/20/2021, and talked so fast - telling me I needed to schedule my procedure with sedation, without even explaining my diagnosis, which I didnt know until the Friday before the procedure. She rushed through her entire spill (which I am sure she spews out a few times a week), expecting me to understand it like I have surgery every day!!! I had to ask her to slow down. Since this information was SHOVED down my throat, I had to try to process it, but naturally I had questions. I called her back 2 days straight and left messages without a response. She was totally insensitive to the fact that this is a personal health matter, and causes great concern... (May I add that on her initial call, she also said I would be mailed a letter advising what I needed to do for this procedure. After I had not received the letter in 2 weeks, I called again (on 5/6/2021) to see why it was not sent, and she blamed it on the mail. Mail might be slowed by 2-3 days, but it doesnt take 2 weeks to get a letter in metro Atlanta. [dont play me like Im stupid] The letter was to give me instructions on what I need to do in preparation for surgery, and 2 days before it was scheduled (not counting Saturday and Sunday, I still dont have a letter! - Do I eat/drink? - How long will this take? - do I need a driver? - all VERY pertinent questions, and I dont have answers! So got the letter the day after I spoke with her, on 5/7/2021, on a FRIDAY, (surgery scheduled for 5/10/2021 - Monday - and, by the way, later was postmarked 5/5/21, so it had not been out there lost in the mail for 2 weeks; it hadnt gone out! - but I already knew Stephanie was lying about that anyway). So its technically the day before the surgery (because its Friday and surgery Monday, and no time left to change my mind - which is what I would have done if I had time = but by this time my husband has taken off work to drive me, and I have scheduled to be off, and finally got my mind around actually having surgery and anesthesia for the very first time!..So now the letter- says for me to plan to be there several hours, whereas I was told it would not be a long procedure. Sure, maybe there are sometimes complications, but the wording of this letter almost tells you there will be some problem(s)!.- It mentions general anesthesia, whereas Dr. Crist clearly stated I would be awake, but comfortable. No one was sensitive to the fact that I have NEVER had anesthesia before, and this was a very terrifying thought,- The experience only got worse. On Sunday night, 5/9/2021, the night before my surgery, the anesthesiologist called me at 9:03 PM! HE apologized that he was calling SO LATE, and literally said my bad. Ok, so what if I had been asleep? (and I would have been, except I was still up stressing over this event and my displeasure with this whole experience) This was Mothers Day, so he probably had just finished up a wonderful day with His family, but offering patients his leftover time. I heard him as he discussed his wife and family to the staff the morning in the waiting area when I arrived! Im glad they gave me phenergen, because seeing/listening to him made me want to vomit. His lack of customer service was sickening!! I also found out he would be in the room during the very undignified process of female surgery. I chose a facility that is female-only for a reason, and then when the time comes for me to want an all-female team the most, a very insensitive, brash male is in the room. The fact that he had to touch me to insert meds into my IV makes me cringe!THIS WHOLE PROCESS FROM BIOPSY/DIAGNOSIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST EVER. I drive from Alpharetta to Stockbridge bc I used to live on the Southside near this office and didnt want to change doctors. I will no longer do that.
I have been going to Women’s Health Specialist for 16 years. They have delivered all 4 of my babies and make me feel like family every time I’m there! Thank you for taking the best care of me through 4 pregnancies and 4 c sections!
I had an appointment on Jan 4 and when I arrived they took a urine sample and I noticed I had started to light spotting. I was told my the nurse Jane that they didnt have an ultrasound tech and I would have to come back on Monday. When I went home I started spotting more and called the office and was told to go to the hospital. When I went to the Piedmont Henry there was a 4 to 9 hour wait so came back home already in discomfort. I called the doctor office on Jan 5 and was told to come in at 10:15am. When I arrived I had to meet with Jane. Jane called me in her office and begin to holler at me like I was a child and stated didnt I tell you to go to the hospital I told her about the wait and but she wouldnt let me get a word in. I told her I called this morning and this is why I was here because I had another appointment and she told me I was lying and if I kept it up they wouldnt see me in the office. I told her she didnt need to see me I couldnt understand why this lady was talking to me like this and I was pregnant and having problems. I left and as I was leaving she told me God Bless Me. When I left and came home I started bleeding and later that night I lost my baby. If only the doctor could have seen me maybe something could have been prevented but instead I had a nurse hollering at me and not having any compassion for what I was going thru. When I got out the hospital I read other comments and I encourage others to do the same because Jane has done this repeatedly for years. She is not going to get away with this and she cant continue to treat women in this way. I wouldnt recommend this office for my dog. Please take the time a research this office and make other arrangements
I had a yearly check up here recently & had a wonderful experience. Morgan was my assistant & she was very kind, helpful & bed side manner was awesome! Definitely recommend this GYN, & ask for Morgan for your assistant!!
Pros: They didnt waste my time. I was checked in and with a doctor very quickly. Cons: I barely got why I was there out of my mouth (for just a check up, but I mentioned one heavy month--- and I was scheduled for a procedure and given an Rx for hormones I never asked for or picked up. They were wanting to schedule this procedure immediately, the scheduler was quite pushy about it. Something did not seem right. I went home and did some research on both this practise and the procedure. My intuition was right. Money money money. This procedure is no longer recommended by many physicians due to the potential complications afterwards and only after all other avenues exhausted. Not one avenue was discussed other than having an invasive, painful, yet paid for by my insurance procedure. I will not return-- Its not about the well being of the patient its the revenue these patients bring in for this practise.
Will literally run you around in circles before giving you the information you need. Go else where for a women clinic they treat people absolutely awful.
I have been a patient at Women’s Health Specialist for over 17 years. The doctors, nurses and staff at this practice are incredible! They have the expertise, knowledge and customer service you are looking for when choosing a gynecologist.
I wouldnt even rate this office 1 star. This place is SO unbelievably unprofessional. Mishandle records and like to speak about confidential things outside of the office. I have been with my doctor here for 10 years and have swept so many things under the rug hoping that they would improve and they have only gotten worse. Such a shame that I (like many others) will have to find another doctor in the area to confide in. Do not waste your time!!!!
I have been going to Womens Health Specialist for years. I love the welcoming environment. Morgan McDevitt assisted me last time and I was very impressed with her kindness and and professionalism. She was very helpful and able to answer any questions I had.
I have been seeing the OBs here since I found out I was pregnant with my third child. I have tried scheduling my third csection for weeks now and have been repeatedly told they will do it this week and call me back. Not only does the scheduler NEVER call me back, but I have repeatedly waited more than a week before contacting her only to receive no information. I even called the hospital when she claimed they werent answering and they had no record of her trying to contact them and said it was up to her, anyway. My csection is now as soon as a week and a half away and I have no date. I was promised it last week, yesterday, no later than this morning, and then told hopefully shed speak with them this morning. None of this has happened and the fact she is the only person they have allowed me to speak with over it has immensely frustrated me!
Scheduled a well womens exam. First appointment was great! Asked Dr Simpson to recommend a longer lasting birth control then the usual pill. Signed a paper before I left stating I wanted to order it. I was told I would get a call when the birth control arrived to set up an appointment. Never did... called a few weeks later wondering what happened. The person on the phone just scheduled a consult about the birth control. Ok? I already discussed it with my doctor but maybe its procedure?? I was late for my first appointment thinking it was in the locust grove office not Stockbridge. Got it rescheduled with another doctor no problem. I had to pay $30 copay. The nurse that took me back had no desire to be there. That was clear. She took me to a back hall to wait yet again because there were no rooms open. Why call me in then? She handed me a packet explaining everything about the birth control while I waited and additional 15.. made it to the room to wait another 10... by this time I had read all of the packet and realized the doctor told me everything I already knew about it. Why did I have to pay 30 dollars to just be handed a packet of information?! I was sent to the front desk to make sure it was covered by insurance. I stood in front the nurse in the desk for a few minutes without being acknowledged because the person on the phone was more important then me... she finally asked me what I wanted with a why are you standing here? attitude and proceeded to write some silly codes I can use to call and find out if its covered. I took the paper and walked out. So rude!! Its not my job to do that! I called back to just cancel the stupid thing. I was done dealing with all of it. Someone called me back asking if I was sure I wanted to cancel because i guess they found the origional paper i signed and realized the birth control was already there. I was livid. Why the hell did I just spend money on a copay for a consult if they knew the birth control was already there?! Whatever, they can keep the money, just dont let them take yours. Go find better care somewhere else, thats what Ill do.
Dr. Melanie Cornelius Sanders, is awesome! She is caring. I love how she takes her time and talks with you and listens to you. I was nervous about a procedure and she talked me through it and calmed my nerves.
Unless you want to be nickeled and dimed and cheated out of your insurance coverage .. do not go to the office. They give you almost $1000 worth of gift cards to win you over. Be prepared for drive by visits with the doctor and long waits in office! Also be ware that you have to wait 5-10 days for medical releases or pay $25 + .99 cents per page to pick up your records in office. I am going to the BBB and I am going to have extensive conversations with my insurance to make sure this ppl are red flagged and that no one else is being taken advantage of by this awful facility!
After a very cold and awful experience at another practice, WHS took me in and took charge of my situation. Dr. Singh and nurse Jane are amazing women who genuinely care about you and your pregnancy. Highly recommend.
They do not open on time and some of their techs act like you are an inconvenience to them. Very disappointing experience for my wife.
The doctor’s and nurses at Women’s Health Specialist we’re very welcoming, helpful, and kind. They met all of my needs. I enjoyed seeing Morgan and appreciated her concern and kindness.
I had a wonderful experience at this practice! Dr.Cornelius took care of me during my pregnancy and she and Dr.Singh did my C-section and it went beautifully! Very thankful and grateful for ALL of the staff!
My daughter was prescribed the mirena by a gynecologist here. She wanted to switch her birth control options because though the low dose estrogen pill stopped her periods she had migraine. So we were looking for a progesterone only option to help eliminate them. A few days later a lady in the billing from this office called her first name starts with a T. She told me that Tricare doesn’t work with their specialty pharmacy anymore. So I would need to find someone to order it and they could put it in if I brought it in. Or I could go to another office that has them in stock. Or go to the base. So I immediately called Tricare and Tricare tells me I can go to my pcp doctor and have it ordered and take it to Women’s health. Fine, I make the apt and I’m told at the apt they don’t put them in so they can’t order it. I call Tricare agin another operator tells me to call escripts and order it directly to my house. I do call they only deal in pills not injections. So I call Tricare yet again. They say I can try walgreen or another pharmacy. So at one point I’m on the phone with T while she speaks to another pharmacy. This pharmacy couldn’t order it. What I did not know at the time was she knew Eagles landing 3 miles from their office had them in stock! But instead withheld this info from me while knowing I’m struggling. Meanwhile my daughter is miserable with an extra long period all of her summer break. While I figure this out. This back and forth went on for about 3 wks. I tell Tricare I can’t order it So I ask them where to go on the base. Which was my last resort because I didn’t want to drive 60 miles one way twice. Once for a consult then an insertion.. He then says try calling these dr in your area. They may have it in stock. I didn’t really believe it Because she keep telling me Tricare wanted me to go to the base and how hard it is for places to get them. The other operators just didnt know so its was not on purpose or their fault like this clerk at women’s healthcare withholding info I needed to help my daughter. I called two places they took my insurance but didn’t have it. So then I called eagles landing gynecology and they did. I promptly left a voicemail for Ms. T to ask the billing code which she did not give me and tolet her know she can inform her to let other military patients know they can go there. She told me if I figured out a solution to let her know. Then she calls me and says she wouldn’t send her daughter to an eye dr. I said in my message I said gynecologist! So right off the bat my intelligence is insulted. Then she says you have to go to the base or tricare won’t pay. I told her Tricare themselves reffered me to them! She then says She would not take her daughter there. I asked why she could not say then proceeded to tell me how I would get stuck with a bill. She said she wouldn’t refer another gynecologist??? I was like you don’t even offer mirena. So there is no competition and you wanted to know my solution. She was protesting too much. So she is guiding military patients to a military base 60 miles away and knocking this other business out of customers Because of her own personal reasons. I called eagles and made them aware of this. The lady asks her name and says she was fired from here! I think it’s petty and immature that my daughter had to wait weeks and I had to go on a wild goose chase because she had a grudge against another office. The patients care should be the number one priority. Anyways my daughter ended up getting kyleena from eagles landing gynecology. They have mirena too, No bill and that was over a month ago. Her headaches have almost completely went away. The staff there was great with my daughter. I have a miscarriage story with women’s health I won’t go into. But bedside manner is important especially when you are hey shocking news. I won’t go into it. But after the experience at eagles I will be switching myself. So military families you CAN get an iud in the area without going all the way to a base. Go to eagles landing gynecologists.
If you are looking for an OB office that provides timely service this is NOT THE PLACE TO go!!! If you enjoy long waits that require naps and you wake up still waiting this is the place for you.I had my daughter with them in 2015 with none of these issues not sure if a change in mgmt occurred or they are overbooking. Dr. Singh is extremely detailed is my only positive.Would give zero stars if possible! Extremely rude, cold, and disrespectful not to mention the wait times are out of this world. Please pack a lunch!!!!!
Great group of “girl docs” on the planet!!! The doctors and the entire staff, “swan squad”, are the most caring, helpful and professional people I have ever encountered in my life so far. The best in the best business!!! Love all of them!!
Called to set up a first time visit with this group and the lady took my name and info and set me an appointment up for the next following week, and she told me to call back with my insurance informatio. When i called back i talked to someone different she couldnt find me anywhere in the system and then told me that they have no appointments left for the week. Today is monday Aug 17, 2015. I called the past Wednesday at 2:30pm.. Very unhappy and im new to this area and they did not make me feel welcome. Kinda glad im not going they may forget all about me and my health.
I am sad to say that my primary care doctor recommended me to two OB/GYN Womens Health Specialists and another OB/GYN in Eagles Landing (Very popular practice on Country Club Dr.). I had no idea that that I would be discriminated by Womens Health Specialists. (I was told by someone that they had a bad experience with being treated rudely at Womens Health Specialist but I am person that give it a chance for myself before making a decision. For this situation I wished I had listen to prevent the humiliating treatment I received from Womens Health Specialist; especially since I was in need of follow up healthcare from a recent released from the hospital. I called Womens Health Specialists this practices to see which office I could get an appointment soon as I was just released from the hospital and I needed an appointment as soon as possible. I called Womens Health Specialist and spoke with a Megan. I explained that I am disable and my primary care Dr. provided this practice for a follow up from being released from the hospital. Megan asked me if I needed any other services. I explained that I would probably need a PAP completed because I had not had one in over three years. She asked me what insurance I had and I told her. Megan stated that it was no need to come to this practice because they dont take the insurance I had. I repeated what she said and she said that is correct. I immediately called my primary care doctor and they were not aware of that information. I called my insurance and they informed me that the information that was provided by the Womens Health Specialists was incorrect and I was advised to file a discrimination complaint against the agency. I called back to inquire about the incorrect information that I received. I spoke with Megan again and she confirmed that the information that she initially provided was correct. I informed her her that my insurance stated that it was not correct and to file a discriminatory complaint against Womens Health Specialists. She told me to hold on. Eventually another female that was aggressive in her tone came to the phone and said What is it that you need I stated that I was put on hold and I guess I am waiting for someone name Megan to come back. The lady stated that she was from finance and she wanted to let me know that they will not be able to complete an annual PAP on me I would have to go to my primary doctor. I explained that my primary referred me to because I was recently released from the hospital and Im coming for a specific follow up (this was such a horrible conversation to be having with a person in finance) The lady in finance stated that the doctors at Womens Health Specialists agreed not to take my insurance for annual PAP. I really didnt understand this conversation because I kept explaining that I was released from the hospital and my primary doctor provided two OB/GYN to follow up with for a specific problem. I eventually told the finance lady that people need to know about the unprofessional treatment at this practice. I believe that medical practices should be more concern with people health and well being instead of looking for reasons not to provide medical service.I respect all laws and rules and if the Womens Health Specialists practice dont accept certain insurances then it is ok. The strangest part of this entire situation is Womens Health Specialist does take my insurance and I still dont understand why I received the bad treated from Womens Health Specialists. If you are disable maybe you should not disclose that information. No that is not a good idea. Find a practice that is willing to work with all people who need medical treatment.
The staff and providers are very kind and caring. They are understanding and try to accommodate every need of the patient. Women’s Health Specialist goes above and beyond for their patients always!
The ladies at the desk are super nice and patient. Lobby is always super clean when I go and I never have to wait long. All the staff there are super kind and make you feel important. Great place.
Really bad service and personal I need to get my new IUD and I have to wait almost 2 months for the appointment? this is very ridiculous..Also I had been bleeding for a month and when I called for an appointment I have wait until the end of the month to be seen.
Front office staff and nurses were nice, however, the doctor was very insensitive/rude. She just tried to push surgery or meds instead of trying to identify the issue.
. What is happening to American Healthcare. discrimination on care , this practice only care about your money. Have Attended this Obgyn for years learned that they will dismiss you based on your insurance , pregnant didnt know it and pregnant missed appt for any reason. It doesnt matter how long you been going. Forget hearing back from accounting if you have any questions. All they want is your money, not a women based healthcare. Also afflicted with southern crescent , just under a different name. Please if you looking for Obgyn that care stay away. Longer wait time is better than horrible care that only wants you money and not concern about you.
Starting to understand the low ratings recently. The nurses are not professional but rude. Doctors try to rob you of every penny for unnecessary services. Will be finding a new doctor in the New Year for sure.
I’ve been a patient for many years here, Very friendly staff, caring and understanding of concerns. I’ve never had an issue getting a quick appointment and love my doctor.
My first time there and everyone was wonderful! My dr was Simpson-Jones and she answered all my questions and concerns. The entire staff was very nice and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them
They take forever to see you. Average wait. Time is 30 minutes even if you show up first thing in the morning. They are very sweet nurses and doctors though. They do try to give you an ultrasound for everrrrrrrything. Too much sometimes but i would come back still...
Great experience. They were very professional and called me back quickly. I would recommend this practice to any women needing OB/GYN.
I went for a checkup once saw the doctor for maybe 2 minutes and I have made payments since then. This seems almost impossible to do as they NEVER pick up the phone. I have left messages and voicemails and get no response. Today I finally got someone to pick up the phone. But no I won’t be back because of this.
I loved this place , they treated me like I really mattered, different from other clinics 🥺 , I had a really good experience even though my concern was not resolved yet, I am sure that It will definitely be resolved!
Been a patient here for over 10 years and had only good experiences for annual routine and out-of-ordinary visits and procedures. I actually moved 30+ miles north, but I still prefer to come here.
The staff at this office are always polite, professional, and really care about the patients. They go above and beyond what’s expected. - Thanks for all you do, sincerely Joy.
Extremely rude staff, especially to women who are handicapped. Even though they have advertised that they accept Medicare, they don’t and will ask you to leave.
Everyone in the office is very professional and kind. Morgan is always very attentive to the patients needs. Highly recommend this practice.
From the moment I walked in, until the moment I left, the staff was professional, kind, and understanding. The entire staff was amazing. Thank you Dr. Christ and Terri for taking great care of me!
I would like to thank all of you all for your reviews. I was about to schedule an appointment with this facility but after reviewing the reviews, I will take heed and not go to this medical facility. I am in severe pain and the last thing I need to obtain is a bad medical procedure. Once again than you
I felt very comfortable at my visit to woman’s health specialist. The doctor and staff were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend!
Best team of doctors and staff! If youre looking for exceptional care and professionals that listen to your concerns and care about your health; look no further!
I have nothing but praise for this office! Very professional staff. I can tell that they take pride in what they do. They are very patient, and efficient. I would recommend this office to everyone I know.
I have been a patient for about a decade, but the fact that the front desk does not care enough about my health to wear a face mask will have me looking for another provider.
All of the reviews here are very valid and some. I have to weeks before the birth of my child and I will be dropping them after my follow up.
Absolute horrible place. The ladies are so rude and do not care about your needs. Very dismissive. Don’t waste your time with this terrible place.
I love Dr Ashley Christ,She has a beautiful bedside manner and and caring spirit.I pray she never leave
I was very satisfied with my visit at the office. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you for everything!
Every time my wife goes here she is never taken seriously. They are very rude and unprofessional, and would rather tell you, you’re insane for thinking something is wrong with your body! This place should be shut down. Or needs new staff.
Dr. Simpson Jones is the best dr around for annual care and surgical care!! The office has short wait times and they’re very efficient!!
Over All: Professional & Quick.Appointments Preferred.Dr. Singh is highly recommended by us. Shes gentle, sweet and professional.
The staff is great and the wait time in the office is reasonable. I love the doctors they are patient and very knowledgeable.

By far the best place I have gone. They greet you with a smile, very friendly. They are thorough and have no problem addressing my concerns. I felt at ease
I just went to this place the Doctor that I had was rude and disrespectful she dismissed my issues and concerns this was the worst OB I have ever been to and will NEVER go back.
I love the entire staff at Women’s Health Specialists. They are professional and very caring. I would highly recommend them.

Worst place ever, very very rude and unprofessional. They really do not care about the patient at all, I will not go there again even if it was free!! First time going there. I am keeping it simple do not go there!!!
Women’s Health Specialists is a great group of doctors and employees that always take the time to answer your questions.
