I had a dizziness problem and to day I visited instant urgent care Santa Clara , I am very satisfied with the doctor who examine my body very well Dr Suchitra check my whole body to find out the exact problem and I fully satisfied with there treatment . She is very calm and friendly with patients. No longer I have to wait out side . But they are not accept my travel insurance so I have to paid . overall good service by all staff and doctor
I had a fantastic experience with Danna Mendoza and the team during my immigration exam. Danna was incredibly kind, quick, and made everything easy. The whole staff was friendly and professional, making what could have been a stressful process so much smoother. Thank you!!!
I recently visited Instant Urgent Care due to severe pain and inflammation in my left big toe. Dr. Matt quickly diagnosed my condition as gout and prescribed medications that resolved the issue within a day. The process was incredibly smooth from start to finish. Walking in for the visit was easy, and I was seen promptly. Dr. Matt was not only quick and knowledgeable but also very friendly, making the experience comfortable and reassuring. Additionally, the front desk staff was professional and easy to work with. Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend Instant Urgent Care for their efficient and compassionate service.
I went to this place 4 months ago for an annual checkup (aka. annual preventive care). I confirmed with them prior to making the appointment that they WILL take my insurance. According to my insurance plan detail, the annual checkup should be 100% covered. Just now, I received an email from Instant Urgent Care saying that they are going to charge me $200+ just for the annual checkup?!!! WHY?!!!Okay, here is the thing. At the visit, the doctor checked some basics of me and that was it. Then, she asked if I have concerns, and I told her my hormones might be abnormal. She then ordered me a lab and asked me to come back in 2 weeks. I understand being charged by the lab AND the second visit, since they were a part of diagnosis. But WHY AM I BEING CHARGED FOR THE FIRST VISIT THAT WAS FOR AN ANNUAL CHECKUP?!!! The doctor didnt diagnose me during the first visit. She should only be able to diagnose when the lab results come back, which was at the second visit. I dont know how this place reported my visit to the insurance company because the insurance company DENIED this claim, and now is asking ME to pay the amount???!!!I will definitely argue with them because PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER PAY FOR THEIR ANNUAL CHECKUP IF ITS COVERED BY INSURANCE!!!I will consider changing my rating and comment if my case is being reasonably resolved.
The lowest level of serving. I made immigration physician with them. I tried to reach them through the phone call regarding my paperwork , no answer. I tried to reach them out through email, no response either. I sent them results but never hear back from them. I had to drive to their location to figure out what’s going on. And there I had not received answers either. They told me they will call me back. That’s it
Dr Matthew Felix is extremely knowledgeable, quite experienced, and truly cares about the well being of his patients. He is quite sharp in recognizing the symptom and provide recommendation treatment which later was proved to be the critical and right thing to do when facing conditions that are quite complicated. He is also willing to help with any solution within his capability to save your time, money, and ensure you suffer as little as possible. The staff are also nice in the office. My condition last close to 8 months, and I saw quite a few physicians at different locations, he is only one whose diagnosis and recommendation make sense and also you see improvement right away. Cost was quote moderate and I got amazing results.
The lady Doctor that treated me was exceptional. The lady at the front desk and the fellow who brought me into the exam room where not so friendly. That did not make me feel very good because I did not feel good when I came to Urgent care. And also I have only lived in Sunnyvale for a month now.The five stars are for the very professional and engaging and hard working Doctor that treated me.
Best Urgent Care office I have ever been to! I cannot tell you how pleased I am after my visit with Instant Urgent Care. I was seen very promptly, the staff was friendly and helpful with my insurance! I was in and out within an hour. The doctor addressed my needs thoroughly, and I was out of pain and feeling much better the same day! I high recommend Instant Urgent Care to friends and family!
I booked an appointment for 2pm the day prior. Got confirmation email and the text saying I was expected to come in at 2pm. However, upon coming in, the front desk lady flatly told me they were having a lunch break and I should come back in an hour. They did leave a voice mail earlier but I had back to back meetings in the morning and was not able to get that. The guy next to her looked annoyed (in a funny way) that I actually made my 2pm CONFIRMED appointment on time.Totally fine to have lunch breaks, but shouldnt you block those time slots on your booking system so people dont waste their time booking for slots that you dont even plan to be available, coming in and just to be told to leave?Lucky for me I just wanted to check up a minor issue. I quickly went to a better rated urgent care nearby without having to waste more time. Imagine someone with a more urgent issue coming in to make their booked appointment and just to be told to come back.
I just brought my son there because he hurt his forehead and was bleeding, very visible. The couple ahead us were very nice and were asking me if we wanna go first. The receptionist then interrupted them and asked us to wait. After we wait for 5 min and it was our turn, the receptionist said that they don’t accept walk-in anymore and they need to go to lunch in 30 min, and we should go to ER instead. Hope they enjoy their meal.Definitely don’t go there if there is a real emergency.
First time here because I have been battling this dry cough for quite awhile now. They asked if I had any insurance and I said no except through the VA. They checked for me to see if the VA would cover my visits. And to my surprise, it was fully covered and I didnt have to pay anything. This visit would normally me cost 180. The staff were extremely kind and helpful in a nice clean environment. I highly recommend this place.
I went to this office for a simple cold and just received a $500 bill for that visit! Why? I see a lot of reviews complaining about how much they charge patients. Don’t choose this urgent care when you are sick. I will definitely call them soon to argue and see what is going on there. So disappointing!
Excellent health care by NP received today and yesterday. Went in for urgent health needs and needs met above and beyond. The practitioner wanted to follow-up next day for monitoring and further assessment that I was respomding well to my treatment. Cannot say enough! Highly recommend this location for urgent health care, 10/10!
The entire office staff can thank this ONE star on your rude little receptionist who was working Sunday at 3pm, who didnt once say thank you or please to anyone, was snarky and rude and condescending in her manner to ask people to take a seat, yelled out hey you instead of our names when calling us up, did not tell me the amount being charged and when I asked, she got sassy with me. People in Urgent care are sick and injured and need to be treated and met with professionalism, compassion, dignity and respect, not a with a snotty entitled jerk. The doctor was great.
I *like* this place. 😁 Long story short: came here a while back to get a possible broken rib diagnosed, from playing hockey. They ordered x-rays, couldnt see anything major, although it might have been a hairline break. All good. They had a sign out front, that they could do std/typical personal care physician stuff. I like my doctor at Sutter, but it takes months to see her. Here, I got an appt within 2 weeks. 👍 They ordered the expected labs, and I really liked the whole experience. I knew I was pre type 2 diabetic, but my a1c number was fine, which previous to Sutter, Kaiser never looked at. They only ever looked at that days mg/L or whatever the units are, the one thats supposed to be less than 100. I also have borderline high blood pressure, but they had measured it a few times here, and I had some previous numbers I showed him too. All good, dont need to be on medication.I had Mathew Felix. Not on purpose, but I asked him about a whole bunch of stuff, and from his answers, he was not only quite knowledgeable, but I could tell he still reads about all this to stay up to date. That is AWESOME! So this Urgent Care and Matthew is my new personal care physician. 👍👍👍
The provider helped to address my health concern and was proactive in referring me for additional help. Initially, I worried little would result from this appointment, but I left feeling that I was in very good hands. My concerns were heard, for which I was very grateful. Matt Felix, PA considered my reported symptoms, provided assessment, and helped me understand possible explanations before sending me to a specialist for follow-up. I felt relieved and fortunate for the care offered during this visit. Thank you to PA Felix and the team.
I had a walk in “appointment”. Near the end of the day on a Monday. There was only one person ahead of me waiting. I was seen in less than 15 minutes. Dr. Kaur is excellent. She listens for real, she’s efficient but not rushed. She seems to genuinely care. I’ve had other Doctors at other places that would immediately jump to a diagnosis without wanting to hear what’s going on. But Dr. Kaur asks questions and listens to the answers and does some work weighing the possibilities. I’ve also seen a PA there. I think his name was Tom. He’s great too.
The medical staff are very kind and patient, and I am very grateful for their assistance.
For a simple virtigo problem doc advised for antibiotics and surprisingly he said I have ear infection (both ears LOL 😆). Due to this I suffered more than a week. Later visited other doc and discovered Ive been diagnosed wrongly.
Once they ask for your credit card it’s a scam! I‘ve been here twice, the first time was $199 and my insurance paid for it. The second time I went they charged me a $199 bill! Like a lot of people on the Google reviews! Had to pay out of pocket! Scammers!
Went with severe cough and chest pain and they totally missed pneumonia in lungs, instead gave some low dose antibiotics to treat sinuses. Called several times to say not improving but they stuck with their diagnosis, had to go to PAMF to get treated. Would not recommend this place.
Update: April 15, 2014. The customer support reached out to me after they saw this review (which is very much appreciated). They looked into the matter and told me that we were not charged for the COVID and flu tests. I will wait to see if we receive a letter from them in the mail as we have received bills for tests (that I assumed were covered by the insurance) post the visit. According to the customer support rep that should not happen. For now I am happy to change my rating!===========While the medical advice can vary from good to average (depending on whom you consult with) the billing is terrible. I have had issues in the past that took energy and my precious time. The bill was paid yet my account was sent to collections. Their billing promised to take care of it but never did. Eventually after receiving multiple collections notices I called up the agency. They told me that the billing never contacted the collections about the settled account but they had promised they will!!Another incident from April 12, 2024. We saw a doctor for my Mom who is visiting from India. We were billed for a COVID test and influenza test twice (only administered once). They did not seek our consent or tell us about the cost of the test upfront (but the clueless front office person claimed she informed me). The total cost of COVID test is $229 and influenza is $38 (twice billed). This is daylight robbery. They conduct tests without taking consent and then proceed to apply outrageous charges. I already told them I will pay directly for the visit and claim it later as my Mom is carrying visitors insurance. Who tests for COVID these days and that too for $229? And we had kits at home for COVID and flu if they had told us about their testing protocol in advance. This practice is dishonest and unscrupulous. Yes they are doctors (and they have helped me with the medical advice) and we need them but they are out there to make money using deception. I am going to report them to the medical council if they do not reverse the charges for the tests. The front office lady promised that their billing department will help me and she has put notes. But with my history with the billing department of this practice I do not trust them and plan to report them on Monday (April 15, 2024) to the medical council..Stay away from this practice unless you really have no option. I regret my decision to take my Mom to this facility. Never again.
I’m usually get anxious at doctors offices but I had a very pleasant time here! Matthew Felix is a really great guy!
Better then I expected. Way better. Its no kaiser or Stanford hospital thats Fer sure. But the staff was kind and knowledgeable. They are also pretty quick. Was only there maybe 30 mins? Co pay of $10 with my insurance through work. Im a happy customer. I was just a little unprepared but I blame the insurance. I didnt have my IDcard for it so I was struggling to email them to send it. Good news, I got it haha. Would recommend!
Very easy to get appointment. Very professional staff and nice clean setting. Given the nature of business dis not feel wait time was long. Doctor was fantastic in both suggesting options and giving assurance to patient to enable best decision making
The doctor and the nurses assistant very friendly and professional.Front desk not so much I stood there for a while before She acknowledged me with an attitudedo you have an appointmentwhen I said yes..what time are you Supposed to be here? To her surprise I was 15 minutes early being a new client And I assume there would be paperwork. I have never been asked for a credit card to be on file in case of any changes I replied let me know what my bill is and I will pay it. Thank goodness for the rest of the staff being very professional and caring when you dont feel well a little Kindness goes the long way.
Had abysmal issues with payment and had trouble with the billing department, Zalaika at customer service was the only person who actually helped me and made it clear she was intending to help. She ultimately pulled some strings at her end and got my charges cleared up. I would be very clear regarding your visit because dealing with the overseas billing department was like pulling teeth.
Worst experience ever! I had an appointment at 12:45pm and arrived 12:30pm to fill out forms. And waited 30min and the front desk staff told me there are still 2 patients ahead of me and need to wait for another 30min. They had no sorry no apologies. One staff said “our new system has some problem in registration, you just have to wait, everyone has to wait”. I was so hungry so I decided to move my appointment to 2:30pm in the afternoon and went for lunch. I arrived again at 2:15pm and their door was locked with a sticker note saying “we will reopen 2:45pm”. My appoint was transferred and confirmed in person with the front desk and it was 2:30pm. I can’t keep waiting so I left. Very disappointed with their service.
I had my first appointment with Matthew Felix. I was very impressed with his knowledge. My appointment was 30 minutes late but it was worth the wait. He took the time to go through all my medications and had no problems giving me my refills I needed. He even offered to help me with a different medication for my pain I was experiencing in the office due to my herniated disc. I am happy with him and look forward to having him as my go to person in the future.
I had an excellent experience! My doctor (Matthew …) was extremely competent but also engaging, wise and good humored. I’ve been to Urgent Care countless times for shingles and I’ve never had such a complete and helpful response. I’m on vacation from Minnesota so I was especially appreciative!
Would not recommend. This is my first review ever. I walked in and was told to wait by the receptionist. About 5 minutes later, I walked up to the receptionist and she had forgotten that she asked me to wait. I filled out all the forms and interestingly, people kept coming and going while I was there. Each time I would walk up to the receptionist, there was some silly excuse about the delay. A nurse noticed I had been waiting about an hour in and tried to get the receptionist to check me in but she just dismissed him saying she was busy. They were “busy” but at least 10 people that came after me were seen first. When I was finally taken to a room by a nurse, the physician didn’t come in for another 30 minutes. I didn’t see a physician until about 2 hours of waiting. Horrible experience!
Ive been here a few times now, and despite the fact that the waiting room is often busy, the wait time to see a provider is usually only a few minutes. It does help to have an appointment. And the providers Ive worked with all know what theyre doing, and take the time to explain themself.
The doctor at this urgent care are good but the front end staff is terrible. They are incompetent and careless. Despite of registering our son in their system, they keep asking us to do that multiple times, wasting time. There is no respect for appointment times and they randomly send patients in. For my mom, they completely messed up her name and DOB because of which getting her meds was delayed for 2 days. Terrible terrible customer service. We will never visit this again.
Ive had great experiences at Instant Urgent Care. Went there once and decided to start doing annual checkups there because I had a good experience.
The most unprofessional urgent care. I drove 1 hour for the appointment only to be told the doctor was not there. The front desk said the website had a bug and she hesitated about calling me in advance about rescheduling and decided not to call. Then we got surprise medical bills. They billed us for a vaccine shot that we didnt receive. Were still disputing it 4 months after the visit.Unless you are dying, avoid it at all costs.
I recently had to visit an urgent care clinic for a sudden illness and I have to say, it was one of the best medical experiences Ive had. The clinic was clean, organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. The check-in process was quick and easy, and I was seen by the doctor in no time. The doctor on duty Dr Kumra was incredibly kind and attentive. He listened carefully to my symptoms, asked thoughtful questions, and took the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment options. He was knowledgeable and efficient and I felt confident that he knew what he was doing. He prescribed the appropriate medication and gave me clear instructions on how to take it and what to expect.I was in and out of the clinic in less than an hour and I felt much better after my visit. The doctors bedside manner was excellent, and I felt like he truly cared about my well-being. I was also impressed with the clinics technology and equipment, it was clear that they were up-to-date and well-maintained.Overall, I highly recommend this urgent care clinic and the doctor I saw to anyone in need of quick and competent medical attention. They exceeded my expectations and made my visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.I would definitely return to this clinic if I have a similar situation in the future. The doctors expertise, kindness and professionalism made all the difference.
They lost my appointment again !! This has happened 2 times now. They really need to fix their scheduling system. I made an appt a month ago and even got multiple reminders for it. When I reached the center, they did not have my appt in their system. Also, the doctor I made the appt with was not working that day, and I was not even made aware before coming. Instant urgent care needs to fix their scheduling system asap !
Surprise bill for a telemedicine visit that didn’t assist with escalating an appt for testing. I already knew based on the details I provided that I needed to get tested. This half a grand appt did not tell me anything I did not already know; if they had actually implemented testing on this day that may justify the bill. The appointment was merely a telemedicine visit where they asked about my symptoms and if I’ve had any exposure. I specifically made this appt because I got an email from my medical school that I had an exposure and needed a negative test before getting on my next flight home.First off, they obtained my insurance card and if they would’ve verified with me this visit was not covered nor would they offer testing(even though that is what their website advertises) I would not have consented to this visit. None of this was told to me prior to the appointment. Extremely unprofessional, I should have at least received an estimate or been informed prior to the appt taking place. I did not consent to this nor was I informed of an estimate or quote this would be out of pocket which is generally the procedure prior to any medical examination.Upon calling the office, they said since they are a private entity and not government funded none of the Covid relief funds would be applicable to this. I have since e-mailed them and asked them to bill my insurance directly and have not received a response as of yet.
Extremely slow service. The receptionist made me wait 50 min to register and I speculate he was high or extremely sleepy.
Visiting from Texas and had to go to urgent care. Was fortunate to stop at this one. Front staff was very professional and efficient verifying insurance. Was a short wait to see doctor and he was very pleasant, knowledgeable and informative. Was a wonderful experience for what it was. Thanks Dr. Matt!
Receptionist was lovely and the PA named matthew was friendly and extremely knowledgeable and professional. There was a long wait time, would recommend making an appointment online beforehand if you are able. Overall a pleasant experience
Doctor Ramandeep Kaur is great. But sometimes after arriving in the facility you are told that Dr Kaur is absent on that day. Usually this happens if the appointment was taken before 1-2 months for a follow up. I have not experienced this for a short term appointment (within a week).
I’ve been going to this clinic since 2019 because of Dr KAUR as she is the best and she is my primary doctor. But at the beginning of this year 2024 apparently they changed their system now they are charging me as an urgent care service and not office visit.I called the billing department and I was on the phone for 45 min and they said they are going to fix it and the worst think they deducted the money from the card on file without informing me.I’m really disappointed and I have no choice to look for another Dr because of no communication.I have to say watch out about your card on file.
The best part was the time with the doctor. He was very, very good and helpful. Thank you doc.
Great medical staff and Doctors, quick yet felt very thorough. My experience was made much easier by the doctor’s attentiveness.
The male nurse is so rude. He gave me the COVID test and influenza A/B test, and insert the cotton sticks from my nasal directly into my brain. Damn! The doctor is very nice and these stars are just for the doctor. UPDATE: my follow-up appointment was on 2:30, when I arrived they said the doctor was taking lunch and had to give me a reschedule to 3:30. Thats absolutely ridiculous. I am a patient and where you want me to spend this extra hour. Worst experience ever.
Everyone was amazing! From the time you get there, all through the visit, and checking out - the staff were all very caring, knowledgeable, and kind. Other urgent care places can be sketchy. This one surprised with how professional they are. Highly recommend this one!
It was great. I was seen immediately. Diagnosis swift and insurance handled. Now just gotta get my Rx.
When I called I was able to reach them by phone n make an appt. An I was seen that very same day . The customer service was spot on n flawless . .I was seen right away at the TIME of my appt. n I was attended too by a wonderful doctor WHO was very kind n helpful n resourceful towards me . I believe his name was Dr. Mathew n he took care of my medical needs . .
Went here for AOS medical exam. Staff was very efficient despite the number of people waiting. Whole process took less than an hour and all my questions were answered.Only thing to improve is that the clinic actually opens at 10am on that day (Jan 2nd) but it accepted appointments from 9am onwards, so we came an hour earlier and had to wait outside.
The doctor here probably saved my life. I had some persistent heartburn that wasnt going away so I made an appointment the night before and came in the morning expecting to just get some antacids prescribed. The doctor listened to me carefully, took my symptoms and concerns very seriously, and directed me to get a CT just to be safe. Turns out, I had a malignant tumor pressing on my heart and have Hodgkins Lymphoma. It was caught pretty early thanks to the urging of Dr. Felix for me to go get it checked out. Im really grateful that he took my symptoms more seriously than I did, because of him I was able to get diagnosed so quickly and start treatment early.
It was easy to make an appointment for the same day and I was seen right away. The doctors and nurses were pleasant to interact with and they were thorough.
Quick, professional service! Came in for a TB Skin Test for School on a Thursday & Friday evening (issues on my end with paperwork), was greeted right away and assisted both days without any difficulties. Thank you Instant Urgent Care staff!
The doctor is very attentive and provides excellent diagnoses for my medical conditions! Also my waiting time is less than 15 minutes which helped a lot.
My husband and my son (3yo) got stomach flu, we were able to make a quick appointment ahead, and had a good experience during the visit. Staff were patient and thorough. I would recommend this place for common urgent needs for adults and kids.
Our experience with Doctor Felix, and with the office staff, was very positive. It is refreshing to be heard and helped when that is not always the case. Thank you!
My experience was great. People at the front desk were really friendly and helpful. The doctor was also friendly and nice. A little wait time. I would recommend this facility.
Top doctor and staff. Fast, precise, professional, just what more and more big hospitals are cruelly lacking these days.
Really helpful staff! My SO and I went in for our annual physical exam, we met the PA for our blood work review today. He explained everything thoroughly and we covered all of our concerns. We were both very happy with the experience today. The staff were also very patient and polite throughout the visits. Highly recommend. The only thing to mention is that they said that the annual womens wellness exams are not covered in that particular location so I have to confirm with my insurance to get that information how to proceed. Good that the staff mentioned this explicitly before scheduling my visit.
Overall good experience. Doctor provided good medication helped with symptoms. Wait was little longer even with appointment. Web asks for ID and insurance card to make appointment, but they will ask again because system is not connected.
Dr Matt was excellent! My finger was hit by the door of my car, and blood filled in my nail. Dr Matt gave detailed instructions, was patient to let me came home to watch for another 2 hours, and worked overtime (5pm - 5;30) to drill the blood. After his treatment, I immediately felt much better and my finger didnt feel much pain any more! Big thank you to Dr Matt and others in the clinic.
I was traveling on business and developed a serious cough and congestion. The folks here were very efficient and caring. I was given the appropriate prescriptions and an on my way in just 30 minutes.
Thank you for taking care of me! Fast service, made room for me when I had an urgent appointment.
This was my second time here within a week with two kiddos getting pinkeye from a play date friend and both times was so quick and attentive! I made an appointment online and they were spot on time. I didn’t have to wait more than a few minutes for either visit which is awesome when you have a 1 and 5 year old in tow. Doctors and nurses there were so kind and courteous. They are quick to get you in and out without making you feel rushed and made sure all concerns were addressed. I have to say, BEST urgent experiences I’ve ever had in my life!
The doctor is very nice and patient. The cost is also friendly for students.
Doctor was articulate and fast in decision. My daughter had a fever 101.5F. They tested her for Covid and influenza right there. Prescribe medicine for influenza after the result. She was given medicine right at the spot to treat fever. Thank you!
Caution: If you are new patient and scheduling appointments for Ramandeep , you are never gonna be seen. I was very disappointed when i was left with no answer or procedure for my health concerns yesterday. I had been here earlier for other issues but they really treated us well and gave expert care by Ankita not sure what was happening yesterday. They didnt even check or suggested for any blood work to see vitals. I felt bad for wasting money on a consultation that was clearly unprofessional.
Scheduling was easy and quick. I got everything I needed. Friendly and competent staff.
Do NOT go to this place!!!My dad is an international traveler to US and I brought him to this place for some basic inquiry and check. The doctors attitude was fine except the fact that each time we were left in the room waiting for 1+ hour before the doctor showed up. I purchased the international travelers insurance for my dad but it turned out to be useless for this place. They charged more than $150 deposit for each visit and the final bill that arrived later was a huge amount although almost nothing was really done during each visit besides a couple of pages of instructions received from the doctor regarding how to do exercises. This is ridiculous. Before my last visit I asked the doctor to refill my previously prescribed medicine and my request was rejected. They asked me to visit again so that they can charge me another $200+.For any international visitor, I would never recommend this place and I also would never go there again. It is a big lesson learned for me.
Got a quick appointment for getting my fractured foot checked out. PCP would have probably taken longer and I didnt want to wait. This facility mainly has physician assistants and nurse practitioners though. No MD doctors on the facility. Some people have complained about insurance, but I didnt have any problem as my insurance provider had listed them as one of the covered urgent care facilities. So I didnt have to pay anything upfront.UPDATE: I noticed that the nurse practitioner that saw me actually wrote a WRONG description of my diagnosis on the further referral form! Please check your referral forms correctly!
Very easy process for making same-day appointment and saw a doctor in no time. Great service and practical advice on how to care for my sick toddler. Thank you!
Stay away from this place if you dont want any troubles with payment, insurance and customer service.I paid for my visit $150 out of pocket since I did not have an insurance at that moment. For all my next visits I used insurance and paid copay only. Some time later I got a claim from my insurance for my very first visit which I paid out of pocket in the clinic. Somehow Instance Urgent Care managed to send a bill to my insurance for the visit that I already paid.Alright the mistakes happen some time because people do make mistakes. But I am trying to solve this issue with the Instance Urgent Care for more than a month already and still have no results. I called them 4 times and always was told that the billing department will call me back. Also the insurance representative called them regarding this issue. But they does not seem to bother regarding this. They still did not removed that wrongly posted bill.To make my experience even more enjoyable Instance Urgent Care started to charge me some random amount of money at some random period of time. And they just cannot explain why I was charged these amounts!!! Feels like a scam.I hope they eventually fix this issue and will provide better customer service. I personally will never go back there and do not recommend this place to anyone.
All staff here are very friendly. Waiting time is not super long and they can take walk in new patient. Very good experience.
Absolute swindle job. Ended up calling the money a loss and going for a completely separate immigration physical at another place to finish our papers in time. First of all, the immigration physical has a supposed cash price, except they charged $100 extra for the mandatory follow-up (5 min zoom meeting) to disclose lab results... with no attempt to get insurance info prior to billing. Re: timing, initially they said that it took 3-4 days to get paperwork; I must have called 10 times over the next two weeks checking on the status. On call #5 they inform me that theyve been waiting for us to email a vaccine record to them (nobody at the clinic had asked us to do this). Call #10 they inform me they have been waiting for ANOTHER document from us, and actually the normal wait time is 1-2 weeks after that point. Every person I talked to (at call centers - you will never get through to the reception) was snarky and self-righteous and acted like I was being a Karen with the repeated calls. News flash, if you want me to be less high-maintenance, dont give me a brand new action item on the 10th call which nobody knew about in calls 1-9. Conclusion: time and money actually flushed down the toilet.
I will start by saying that the staff was extremely nice & helpful. That is rare. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars for my first visit, is that I arrived 15 minutes early for my 12pm appointment as instructed to complete paperwork. But they kept taking patients in- who arrived well after me & some without appointments at all. They took me in 1/2 hour late. That being said, since I had to move without any thought to care for my dad, I needed refills on my prescriptions, referrals to specialists & medical paperwork completed. They never complained and helped me through everything. I know that was lot for a first visit!Dr Kaur is awesome and her staff reflects her good-nature.Im sure that next time, they will get 5 stars.
Very pleased with our visit today, from the kind receptionist to the nurse and attending PA. Our wait time was shorter than we anticipated. We were able to wait in the car and received a courtesy call when we were next to be seen. The nurse and PA were very professional, listened well, and the PA made a thorough examination with instructions for follow-up care.
I got very good service from Dr. Matthew Felix.
Came into this place for an examination as I was in pain and bleeding a lot but not enough to go to the ER. Unfortunately my insurance wasnt taken there but they were upfront about all the costs. Just ask and theyll tell you about additional costs. The price for the visit was $179 out of pocket (may increase in the future). The visit was short but efficient. Honestly worth it as just talking to a professional made me feel at ease. The provider was very professional and made me feel safe even though it was my first time there. She even took into account that I was paying out of pocket and gave me recommendations on things I absolutely need and things that I may need but can do without.Theres a Walgreens right next you can walk over and grab the meds. Just make sure Walgreens takes your insurance. I was dealing with a lot of pain and though the meds took some time, I finally got relief. I probably waited 15 minutes to be seen. I got lucky and there werent many people at the time. Keep in mind the staff has a small team. Really glad I didnt ignore the pain and went out to see them.
My experience was fine, as expected - smooth and convenient. I did not give 5-star rating because of a technical issue I faced. While booking an urgent care appointment from their website, I had entered details like name, dob etc. and apparently entered a different email id than the one associated with their patient portal. Soon after booking the appointment, I was notified via email that the patient portal account has been deleted. Im guessing that happened due to using different email id - but still that does not make sense. Now I cannot access my past visits and results. Im yet to speak with the customer service.
Do not ever come to this horrible place. When I went there 3 months ago they did couple of tests and told me that insurance would cover and I didnt need to worry about anything. Now 3 months later they find the audacity to send me a bill for 450$. They told me that my insurance details were missing on the phone and their system was saying my insurance did not cover anything. Inconsistency #1. Then I asked my insurance what was going on and they told me that this place hasnt made any claims ever. Inconsistency #2.
It was a really good experience. Dr Ramandeep Kaur spent good amount of time to answer all my questions patiently. Did thorough checks and tests for proper diagnosis and then guided on the medications.
My facility is always very accommodating. If you have an appointment you are taken in first. Love My Dr she takes time with me and answers my questions thoroughly.
Great experience visiting Instant Urgent care for my daughters ear pain. Was easy to book an appointment online and the appointment started right on time. Doctor, nurse and check-in staff were all very kind and helpful.
I made an appointment late at night for an early spot the next morning and they were able to see me with almost no wait time. The nurse and doctor both seemed to really care about my pain and I was in and out in under an hour. Great and painless experience all around.
This office is TERRIBLE!!! Awful DON’T GO THERE!!! . Took my daughter in for sore throat and the Np or PA prescribe’s her pill form antibiotic. Then I tired going back for liquid and they said NO that NP has to be here to prescribe it. Then I give them my new insurance card and they still charge me for the FULL VISIT! NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!! I still have yet to get reimbursed and I have called 5x !!!!! my daughter need having pneumonia!!!!! The NP didn’t even listen to her lungs or check her ears!!!!
They showed care and listened to my needs. They were efficient and thorough.
Edit: They ghosted me during my virtual follow-up. This is an appt that they scheduled for me. Called and texted repeatedly, no response. Waited 20 minutes and the doctor was a no-show. 4 stars since my first appointment was great.Cut my thumb pretty deep and came in to get it seen without an appointment. It wasn’t busy and they saw me right away. The receptionists were super friendly. I’ve had no issues with billing like others have said, but then again my appointment was pretty straightforward.I didn’t have to wait for the PA very long for the rest of my care. He was also really nice. I was in and out in 40 minutes. Great experience overall.
Immigration Medical Exam !!!I had a terrible experience getting my immigration medical exam done here. They are extremely slow and will drive you crazy with their lack of efficiency. They take no responsibility for their mistakes and its almost impossible to reach them by phone. They will only waste your precious time. Despite multiple reminders, it took a full four weeks for me to finally receive my report.Additionally, I cant stress enough that you shouldnt trust anything they say. They will make all sorts of promises and assurances, but its all just empty words. Overall, I would strongly recommend against using this place for your immigration medical exam.
Receptionist knew what she was talking about and was straight forward and to the point. The nurse that took my vitals and took me into the room was very nice and made feel very comfortable. The doctor that helped me was also nice and made me feel comfortable as well. Waiting room, doctors office, and restroom were all very clean. Would recommend this urgent care facility to friends/family. Thank you ladies for everything!
The clinic is very busy! The employees are very nice and professional. The receptionist, Darlene is amazing. Matt is very knowledgeable, and a very hard worker. He’s just an awesome person who really cares! I would definitely recommend my friends to this urgent care clinic. They really care!Thank you!A. Forristal
I selected this place because was nerby to me, my wife and I had 2 medical appointments, medical atention was good but the morning receptionist showed not interest to listen any information/answer that I was providing to her, she was constantly interrupting me and also was barely answering my questions with a negative tone. I asked her where could I get my prescription after my medical appt and she answered me making assumptions that I already know; I think if somebody is asking something its because the person needs more information to understand, she was answering with a bad attitude assuming I knew the answer...thats ridiculious. When I ask why she was having that attitude she just laught and at that point I decided to leave that place. Ill follow up this with MD.Please choose another place to receive a cordial treat.
I was able to see Dr Kaur after her return from vacation. It was good to see her. The appointment was good. She reviewed hospital stay information and medications which was valuable. Thanks Dr Kaur for your competent and caring attention.
Had a good experience here bringing in my sick child. The P.A., Matt, was very attentive and took time talking with us about her symptoms and treatment. I was very pleased there was no fear mongering as is sometimes the case in healthcare settings. Would definitely recommend to others seeking urgent care.
For 4 years I’ve been coming to this practice and I couldn’t be more pleased with how the staff is caring, professional and happy. The Instant Urgent Care Santa Clara has been amazing in the midst of several uninterested and irresponsible medical professionals in the Bay Area.Every time I need to be seen, I feel embraced and feel like they really care about my well being. Thank you Dr Felix, Dania (medical assistant), Dr Kaur and the whole staff. You are truly amazing. Thank you for making a difference with your excellent work in this area.
Very bad experience. Booked an appointment on their website, received confirmation by both email and text. When I went there, I was told the doctor had left, and I should walk in next week.Regarding the appointment, the front desk claimed that I booked through their old website, but refused to give me a link to the new website. What a joke.
Everyone was very professional, and the wait time for my walk in appointment wasnt too bad. I would certainly go back again if Im in need of Urgent Care
Highly NOT recommended!!! Extremely TERRIBLE experience for my Immigration Physical Check. You will never have chance to reach them by phone line, and if you stop by and they even blame you should NOT come. It takes forever time to get my final immigration report and they also do not accept any insurance. If you hope your immigration application is delayed, welcome to here! BTW, the front desk staff are very unprofessional and bad, and they are the biggest boss here
I really like this urgent care. The nurses are friendly and the dr actually listens and prescribes medicine that is appropriate. I have been here a few times, and have taken my children here as well. It’s nice to be treated with dignity in a health care facility. I will be back if the need arises.
I went here for an urgent situation. Dr Felix recommended a small surgery which I did and it went well. I had a follow up with him and recovery seems to be going well. Also met Dr. Kaur and shes very helpful as well. Supporting staff at the location and especially the phone support team are great!
Really appreciate how quickly I was able to see the doctor even though it was near closing time when I arrived.
Staff and doctor was great, my family member feels better now.
Thank you for being so polite and helpful. I appreciate the extra care you took out of your day.
I had went over here for a check up since I was not feeling well and my stomach was hurting so bad that I could not eat. I did have a negative test result presented to them before it. I was told I will have to pay $20 co pay and thats about it since I have insurance. The doctor was nice and had scheduled me an ultrasound test. I went to go get Ultrasound to a lab and paid $183.36 for that and was told I will be getting the result within few days and will be sent to the doctor at the urgent care directly. I actually tested positive for COVID after that and was not able to go on my follow up check up to get my imaging result. I called them 4-5 times on different days to see if I can get the result and reschedule my appt but no answer at all. Called them again after a few weeks to follow up on the result but still no response. They did not even email or call me for it. I received an email a few weeks ago that they are charging me for $30 for the visit which I had already paid $20 for. This is very frustrating that I had paid $183+ for something I did not get and now they are charging me more. I have not been able to come in after that due to busy work schedule as they are already closed by the time I get off from work. Now I see the $30 charge pending on my checking account and had called another branch and talked to someone. He told me he will be filing a case through their billing department and will get a call few days from now. This is just frustrating since I have been trying to reach out since June. Also, I was told he wasnt able to see the result for that ultrasound but there was a request on their system. So where is my ultrasound result? I just wasted my money and time. Very disappointed on their services. Waiting to hear back from their billing department.
Honest to God, these folks went above and beyond for me. My insurance company is absolutely the worst, and these folks were able to work miracles. Can’t thank them enough. THANK YOU!!
Great staff attended to me very professional and communicated through out the appointment, listened to me about my symptoms and explained things clear and concise to me.I was very pleased with my appointment.Thank the staff for me as I did when leaving. All in all a very pleasant experience under the circumstances.James Guerra
I had a bad experience at this location and there was no doctor,I choose to go here since there is some female doctor and she didn’t show up.some provider discussed about my problem with me and it didn’t help anything. I didn’t even wanted to take antibiotics from them as I wasn’t sure if they really understand my problem.
Thank you Sujitra for your professional and timely care for my wifes injured knee!
Great place! Broke my wrist and the temporary splint went around my elbow. It felt very tight and uncomfortable. There were open appointments for today and a short wait time. PA Matt removed the splint, cut it in half and taped me back up. Relief! I was in and out in an hour! Very friendly!Thank you PA Matt and staff!
This review is specifically about how they handle their payments. I left a review on google and they deleted my comment. I visited this urgent care august 2022 and got billed three months later in October for $ 141 that should have been covered by my insurance. What bothered me the most is that they only informed me of my $10 copay. And never mentioned a deductible or that will be charging me for one. If they would have told me they were charging me for the deductible I would have declined their services. They took my card information from when I paid my copayment and charged the $141 on my card without my consent. I only found out about this three months after the visit through my email informing me of a bill from urgent care. I really am bothered by the fact they did not inform me of that extra charge even with my insurance that I provided them that should have been covered. I went to another urgent care on capital that took my insurance without taking any of my card information. Dont visit this place unless you want to pay out of pocket even if you provide your insurance it does not matter to them. This urgent care is just a scam and will charge you without even notifying you or letting you know they took your card information. I will not be visiting this place again. I can not express my frustration enough on how they did not notify me to let me know of the charges. I find this so unprofessional that they took my card information without my consent and they are putting people in debt who can not even afford that much out of pocket. Oh yeah and to top it off I tried to contact them took more than three days cuz they do not answer their calls. Btw look on yelp their reviews are horrible and it’s mostly about payment issues. And it’s obvious they are deleting the negative reviews on google.
I come here due to tailbone hurt. I met 2 doctors here and both of them were pretty nice and patient! (Sorry I forgot their names) They asked my symptoms and explained the solutions in great details. The only shortcoming is I still wait for 30 minutes to see the doctors even if I have an appointment, but it’s totally worth it!
Immigration Medical Exam with terrible experience!Just like a previous post, the experience of immigration physicals here were terrible. They are moving really slow, never responded with the right answers. They would just tell you to wait when a customer support agent finally answered the phone. 2 weeks came by and I still got no report (although Dr. Kaur told me there was nothing pending at the beginning).
The ladies that work there are nice and do their job the best to their possibilities and well they do what they are told. This is a business not a clinic, well a clinic focused more on consistent business than health, understanding they need more money for their overheads but to blatant how they have sales people calling, they would do better if they train their staff more in sales, again the front desk lady and the doctor’s assistant very nice and professional. I was basically a customer there but want to force upselling me instead of keeping the long term customer-business relationship we had for years. We could have kept the same transaction over and over and we are good.
I’ve had to go twice in the last week for an appointment and then a follow up appointment. Both times I had a great experience. Check in was fast. Staff was friendly. Matthew Felix was who saw me at the most recent visit and he was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful! Even walked me over to Walgreens next door to show me exactly what I would need to help my issue. Would recommend this place.
I received excellent care after after falling into my glass shower door. The staff was kind and very professional. The doctor was the best I have everdelt with. He took all the time necessary to do a first rate job to patch me up.
Very attentive staff. I was a walkin on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately seen. Prescribed two different medications for a small wound on my arm and they worked in clearing up the infection and healing the skin. Follow up visit was the same attentive concern as the first; will definitely use this service again.
I have major billing problems. Please read Irinas review and she is right. I had the same problem.Stay away from this place as they have no explanation of what they are charging for.I paid $169.34 out of pocket and I was told nothing was outstanding. In a few weeks I received a message about payment due.No explanation of additional billing for no reason.I went again to the clinic and they quoted a random figure of $117 and no itemization what that charge is all about. I am still waiting for resolution on billing.
They were very kind and courteous and they always listened to me and made me feel heard. This place deserves your support and is very knowledgeable over what to do. They do not offer x-rays but they offer x-ray follow-ups and Dr. Felix gave me good advice for my arm recovery.
Neither instant nor urgent!Went in for a simple stomach bug, made me wait for 2.5 hours despite calling ahead where receptionist said there is no wait!Doctor want to perform a bunch of unnecessary tests which are not covered by copay, but they just said they dont know and its my problem!Terrible experience.
Everybody was very friendly. I did not have insurance but the doctor tried to help me to keep the cost lower. The doctor was fantastic easy to talk to so sweet. Very good experience for my first time I would recommend this place to anyone Thank you Linda
Instant Urgent Care was great! They got me in and out quickly and provide me with a high level of care. Only reason for the 4 stars was the exam room and some of the other rooms were not as clean as you would expect for a medical facility.
I made my appointment easily online. When I arrived I had no wait and was processed immediately. I saw the same Doctor Who previously saw me and he asked about my previous condition. He then diagnosed my health issue and made a proper prescription at my favorite drugstore. Everything was very professional and went very smoothly. I highly recommend this urgent care.
Ive been coming here for 3 years whenever I need urgent care near my daughters house. Every time Ive been able to see Dr Kaur and I really like her. Shes a good doctor - shes also kind and compassionate and when youre sick, thats a big deal. She always remembers me which is amazing because I dont see her very often. I always leave feeling a bit better because of the way she treats me.
Matt is very thorough and helpful. He was willing to take the time necessary to care for my husband and never felt rushed; even doing an extra procedure not on the schedule. He has had us come back at reasonable intervals to check progress and make adjustments. I cant speak to the other providers on the team, but the care my husband received from Matt is appreciated.
Awesome experience! I need to do an exam for school and they were helpful and fast! Not only that, but honored a student price. 🥰
I had a great experience at the urgent care, Matthew the PA is an excellent provider. He has good bed side manner, which is a rarity now a days. The staff on the other hand could be more professional.
Even though we are right in the middle of Flu/Covid/... I was seen so quickly. Everyone in the office is so nice, very helpful, kind and sympathetic. I felt everyone was professional and left feeling I had great medical care!
I was impressed with my urgent care treatment at this facility. The staff was professional, helpful, and kind, and they provided much needed care
Will not be going back: they are always backed up and make you wait an hour beyond one’s appointment. Moreover the assistant staff consistently drops the ball and regularly say/do something inconsistent with what the Dr. shared.
Wish there was an option to give -- stars. Please dont go to this clinic they do blunders while doing diagnosis. My whole visit at this clinic was the biggest blunder of my life and the doctor and the staff at the clinic should be sued for the same. After my checkup staff said that my haemoglobin level was 1.3 and I need to go to the emergency right away which was extremely mind boggling as I wasn’t experiencing any extreme symptoms. They pricked my blood almost 4 times as they were unable to get the right haemoglobin count. They referred me go to the hospital immediately which was quite scary.I was really annoyed with the way things were handled at the clinic and completely dissatisfied with the doctors diagnosis so I went to another doctor for a second opinion the very next day. Based on my reports, my haemoglobin count was 11.I can report this negligence to the US medical association as this is a not how a clinic should operate. I had to face lot of inconvenience both mentally and physically. And on top of all this they charged me a 200 dollar copay.
I had worse experience here. Firstly, the reception was not aware whether the insurance card was in-network or not. The bigger problem was some other patient went in with my Sons name(not ID authenticated). My son and wife waited outside for approximately an hour before realizing that someone with my sons name was already inside.
Very couteous service. I was called exactly at my appointment time and treated by a pleasant DA who quickly determined the cause of my problem and recommended a course of treatment that has already helped. Hope I wont need urgent care again but if I do I will certainly go to them.
I injured my foot sustaining a laceration. I have worked over a decade in the ER, and know I required sutures. Clearly this service location is NOT an urgent care in the real sense of the word. There is no triage whatsoever here. I was also falsely given wait time - from we will fit you in between patients and be seen within the hour to 45 mins later being told oh we are so busy, there is 7 appts in front of you. poor operations to boot. There is falsification of the word urgent care - do not go if you have a small laceration or injury. This service is merely a quasi doctors office with appts. For instance, a patients follow up appt after an ultrasound. So non-urgent appts!!! Not an urgent care at all. And misrepresenting services around any urgent nature
Update 2: Immediately after this review, their billing representative reached out to me to issue me a refund and correctly file a claim to my insurance provider. It would have been nice if this could have been done this way from the beginning, but it was nice of them to take care of everything.-------- Original Review ---------Like others mentioned, their billing service is messed up. They couldnt figure out how to charge my insurance which should cover everything at 100%, and now they are ignoring my email request to obtain a proper superbill which I need to get reimbursed from my insurance company. You can never talk to a real human being through their phone menu.Update: Their email address is now broken and wont accept any messages, so there is no way to communicate with them.
Matthew Felix is the best! He is my go-to PA for all my primary care, work medical clearance and urgent health concerns. He has kind bedside manner, communicative, considerate and stays on top of current medical trends. He has taken excellent care of my spouse and I. Dr. Kaur has also taken good care of me too. A true gem in our medical community!
Cons:1. Usually lab results come within 5-10 min. They took forever to come in my case, it has been a week and they have not updated my complete lab results.2. The doctor Rajiv Kumra was not professional or good enough.3. Their portal is not good and I have to follow up with the original lab for my test results.Pros :1. Got the walk in appointment as many other urgent cares needed to have the appointment booked before 12 hours or something.
This is the same billing issue others have faced. I was sent a bill of $150 for a lab result review appointment. The doctor entered a wrong code while claiming it to the insurance and I have been struggling to explain that to these stupid billing department. They are not ready to accept that. I have wasted more than an hour talking to the insurance, the billing department and I am just jumping from here and there. I have a follow up meeting this month but I am done with this instant urgent care. Not going there. I would suggest people not go to this place. You might face this issue and then waste your time. You pay to your insurance and then this urgent care and then you have to make them understand how to do billing.
Convenient location with plenty of parking. Very courteous front desk staff. Short wait to see doctor who thoroughly examined me. She sent my prescriptions electronically to pharmacy. Overall very good experience.
Making an appointment and all of the processes to check in and have someone look at you were incredibly simple and quick. Their doctors are really helpful as well and show care and concern - I saw Dr. Kaur. Much better than my own pcp!
Matthew, the PA, was knowledgeable and empathetic to my healthcare needs. Great service by support staff as well.
The doctor is good, but the assistant is terrible, very rude and unprofessional during tests.
The medicine given by the doctor has some side effects. I cant message the doctor about the side effects online. There is no option to contact the doctor through phone call either.
Amazing doctors and front office staff. I’m definitely changing my primary physician to this clinic after my urgent care experience here.
The team at Instant Urgent Care did a great job stitching my finger after I cut myself on broken glass. They took care to make the procedure as quick as possible and provided thorough after care instructions. I’d return here for my future urgent care needs.
Showed up at 9:03AM (listed opening time as 9:00AM) and Instant Urgent Care was locked up and deserted. Waited till 9:15AM and no one showed up so left to go to a different Urgent Care.
Easy to get in without an appt. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We came for a sports physical and were in and out in under an hour. Ive waited that long at my regular doctor when I had an appointed.Good, convenient experience.
Dr. Matthew and the clinc staff were so helpful and kind for both of my appointmens! You can easily book appointments online too and check what insurance they accept. I definitely will come back (If needed, hopefully not and I just stay healthy but if needed... definitely will come back here! LOL)
Dr Michael Felix is excellent. He has a logical approach to diagnosis , is very patient , kind and listens to his patients. Will be going back to him for any of our urgent care needs !
Went to this location 2 days after the visit to their covid test site (Stevens Creek) - since it was negative for covid wanted to see what to do about the chills/fever. Checked in and was called within 5 mins of my appt time - way better than trying to walk into to urgent care at a hospital or other providers where the wait could be 1-2 hours. Dr. Kaur saw me, she was great, she did the usual checks and provided clear explanations what might be happening. She suggested a few actions for me and also prescribed some medications. Overall very easy process, friendly staff, nurses/assistants and of course good doctors :)
Front desk staff is very unprofessional. Trying to exchange explain things that doctor is supposed to explain. 1 more hours waiting time and front desk is very slow, non empathy at all. Prepare my check out document for 20 mins.
They do everything to make sure you are safe and taken care of (all within a timely manner too!). Dr. Kaur and her assistant did an amazing job making sure I walked out better than I walked in. The assistant there was spunky and quirky - he really made the process bearable.
Doctors are empathetic and knowledgeable, and listen to patient concerns. Its easy to get an appointment on short notice. I have had some small issues with prescriptions getting to my pharmacy but that could be the pharmacys fault.
The nurse and PA were kind, efficient, and thorough. We appreciated their sympathetic care and thorough info/referrals regarding follow up.
I just left Instant Urgent Care and was very impressed by the service I received. From the front desk to the medical assistant to Dr. Kaur everyone was super nice, helpful, and professional. I made an appointment online so there was no wait time, they got me right in after I finished my paperwork. Definitely recommend this care center.
This morning I cut my hand between two fingers. Went on line for urgent care was able to get a 11 am appointment. They took me back to a room with in a few minutes. The attendent cleaned my cut was very attentive. The Dr Carr i believe was very good numbed my have and sewed me up. When I left the front desk set me for follow up appointments. My first time with urgent care i was please with there service. Thank you John Gwinner
I feel lucky to visit the instant urgent care. I had a headache and sour eye out of no reason. The doctor had me checked and provide reasonable suggestion about possible solutions. Turns out that the problem is within one of her hypothesis, and I was able to make appointment with specialist for it quickly.
Everyone is absolutely SUPER friendly and welcoming at this practice! Iam able to schedule my appointments with ease and the wait is minimal. Dr. Kaur has been my primary doctor for about a year and I can honestly say that she makes me feel very comfortable, she is very kind and she is great at answering all of my questions in every visit. Now with her new location she has made it easier for visits! She is also next door to a pharmacy which makes it convenient and less driving when one is not feeling good!
The front desk lady at the 3466 El camino rd location was very unprofessional. When I walked in and said I got a cold, she replied with a surprised and loud cold? that everyone in the lobby can hear. Without asking any further question, she immediately cancelled my appointment and sent me to covid test and said she will call me once the result is out. The result was out negative and she never called me back. She cancelled my appointment without letting me know and never scheduled a new appointment. I am surprised by how unprofessional the staff is at this clinic
Pretty terrible experience. Waited for 2 hours for my online appointment, never happened. Drove the the site, talked to the lady who was doing the scheduling. SHE WASNT EVEN WEARING A MASK and her primary concern was that I would leave a bad review.... After waiting for 2.5 hours they have now told me that I will only get results maybe by end of the day (9pm). If you need a test done quickly this is not the place.
I would not recommend this place either for the quality of care or their customer support. We have been trying to reach their office for the last 2 weeks and i have dialled their customer care centre every hour. They claim that they are overloaded, but in reality do not care. Good luck getting any documentation or other help if something goes wrong. This is the most unprofessional medical center i have seen in my life. I cant believe it has 4 stars. Never go here if you need something manages over multiple appointments. They are a disgrace as a doctors office.
My 1st time to this Urgent Care and must say that the appointment I set up online went so smoothly. The receptionist and the staff were very accommodating. Will definitely come back more often.
They constantly bill over things that insurance covers 100%. Id call them asking what each bill is for, and they never have an idea for the reasons behind their charges. At first, I would pay the bills anyway, but every few weeks theyd send a new bill. Both they and I are confused. Honestly, I find this so wrong. Also, my surgeon needed them to resend a document, when calling instant urgent care, Id be on hold for a while. When theyd finally pick up theyd say theyll ask the doctor to do it or that theyll call back by the end of the day. My 12,000$ surgery was about to get canceled because of their huge delay. Note that, not to trust them when they say theyll call back. Instead have them keep you on the call so they get their job done.In short, they lost my trust with billing and their word.
I liked the service of Dr Kaur. She was very patient to hear our problems and concerns. If you need an urgent care, definitely you can visit here. Usual waiting time. Not more than 10 minutes if you have fever or something else that you need an immediate attention. The nurse was very friendly and 100% dedication on what she is doing. The office staff also very friendly. Very neat and clean clinic. You can visit here with or without appointment.
We made an appointment over the phone for 10:30. But when we got here and checked in, we waited for an hour to see the doctor. They said they also takes walkins and there are many patients before us.Then what is the point of making an appointment? You should have told us that 10:30 did not work instead of promising availability at that time.
Absolutely useless service, reports are not uploaded on the website, prescriptions are not sent to the pharmacy on time. They never pick up the phone. Every time I have to drive to them to get things fixed even when it is there mistake. And the lady on front desk always messes up the prescription, insurance details etc. I got a 300 dollar bill just because the lady at the front desk didn’t enter the details correctly. This is for Santa Clara instant urgent care
I made a appt for my son in San Jose and when I went there it was closed no body called me from that location to let me know they were closed for the day I had to clearly drive 25mins away to take him to the appt unacceptable and not professional at all
Terrible service. I went to Instant Urgent Care a check up, and then was recommended for follow up check in a different clinic. It turns out this recommended clinic is out of network, which I was never told of. I had to pay a lot of extra money. This is my first time to be referred to an out of network service without being noticed. Definitely avoid here, this urgent care doesnt care about your money.
Was glad to get a Sunday appointment through Zocdoc.Though the main doctor was not available, they informed clearly. So, I do not mind because I made that decision based on my criticality of the visit. All staff and other doctor was good on day 1. Need to wait and see to get a detailed one.Update:Next I visit on a Friday, it’s a different doctor.
I came here for an immigration physical examination. This location only do it on Monday and Wednesday. You need to book an appointment (just go in to their office. I dont think you can book it online) I tried to call, but no one answered. The process was easy, the receptionist is friendly and explains things clearly. The doctors and nurses are friendly too. It seems they know about the immigration related exam and procedures well.
Both front desk and the nurse were friendly. The doctor explained the situation clearly. Wait time was reasonable.
The billing is awful. I am paying much more out of pocket with them compared to other doctors and it is because the codes they use. For some cases, I called my insurance first and they said it will be covered 100%, but when I got the bill (long after), I ended up paying more than half fo the bill. You know insurance can’t do anything if the Dr doesn’t use the right code. And it’s so hard to speak with someone about the bills they keep passing you around. With other doctors I always check exactly what will happen and check with insurance what is covered or not and it ends up being the same thing. With them, they don’t say anything and you’ll just get surprised by bills. After I refused to pay one of the bills that I’m sure should be covered (still didn’t got any explanation why I got charged), they gave it to debt collector and I paid just to get it over with. I’ll never visit instant urgent care again.Seems like they keep billing complicated and hard to understand for this purpose and they are ready to use debt collectors instead of actually explaining.
Its been 3 weeks and to this day they havent told me anything about my results for my Immigration case, which is asking me for my medical exam. I have to keep calling to find out whats happening. The truth is, they have bad service. I dont recommend this place to anyone.
I felt the doctor was very competent and compassionate and understanding and advised me well; I felt the front desk was equally pleasant and efficient. Very good experience.
Come here if you want to fight their billing department every visit.I came here for 2 months to get weekly allergy shots, a simple procedure that just requires a nurse or anyone qualified to administer an intramuscular injection. The front desk, Matt Felix, and the staff did their jobs well and I have no complaints on their end. Unfortunately, they have no control or influence over the back end billing department. Despite speaking which the doctors of the urgent care and getting confirmation that I should not be charged for any co-pay or other shot fees (which no other clinic in California or Missouri has every charged me with), the billing department insisted that I must pay co pay every visit for the reason that they need to charge me since they must have a doctor in the office in the case that I have an allergic reaction despite never seeing a doctor at any appointment. While this may sound reasonable, in reality I had already talked to insurance and other clinics that I had been to: As I have already signed multiple waivers alleging that I am healthy enough to start treatment, so there should be no reason that I should be charged for the possibility that I will need medical attention when I have never had complications before (if I did have any issues and needed to be treated that would be another issue and I would be happy to pay co-pay plus any procedure fees accompanied but this never happened). After multiple long conversations with stubborn employees from the billing department, we came to a compromise with the billing manager to just pay for a shot fee. This verbal agreement did take into effect for a few weeks, but at this point I had had enough and decided to change to a proper allergist clinic (which never charged me personally a dime for the services I needed). However, the bills didnt stop coming and now they are even going against their agreement. Even after a month after I had last visited I am still being charged weekly for co-pay, sometimes for the shot fee AND co-pay. I called multiples times in different weeks to try and reach their billing department to get this issue solved or to even get some kind of recipet/record of what exactly Im being charged for. But, I have yet to reach anyone or get a call back from anyone. They have completely stopped communications with me. I have had no choice but to issue chargebacks on my credit card because of the blatant refusal from their end to communicate with me.Do youself a favor, dont come to any instant urgent care clinics in this bay area. And definetely dont give them a credit card on file if possible. This has been one of the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a clinic on such a small procedure. Not only are they still incorrectly charging me, but the worst part is I dont even know what Im being charged for and I have no hope of getting anyone to communicate with me about it!
I had a very bad experience. This location has no real doctor just physician assistants treating you.I went there urgently with pain and left the clinic with more pain than I came in with my issue not getting solved. The person who treated me was Matthew Felix who was a physician assistant not even an MD. No licensed doctor or MD even appeared once to tAke a look and the physician assistant kept treating me all the time which I found out later. The physician assistant thought a minor surgery would solve my issue and he performed that procedure but he couldn’t solve my issue and I suffered immense pain undergoing that procedure without my problem getting solved.
Really good bedside manner from both the receptionist and doctors (which is always nice when you dont feel that well). Wait times werent that bad without an appointment, quick for those who had them. The doctor I saw was friendly and caring and took the time to listen to my symptoms. Id go back here again.
The doctor who saw me for my injury was very nice and treated me well
Made the appoint. Arrived early, they saw me immediately. Doctor was very informative.
Called my insurance to see what urgent care spots I could visit and was redirected to this place twice. Drove 45 miles from the city to seek help but was rudely turned away by the front desk woman who kept stating that they didnt accept my insurance. She kept saying that it was her companys fault. Why did my insurance direct me to your place twice but then I was informed that you dont? Either one of the parties has to be wrong but regardless, information was mixed up and so I wasted time and gas driving from far away to not be seen. I ended up going to another place in milpitas that took me in right away and were such angels. I had let them know what happened to me at the previous place and was told that what they did was illegal, and every medi-cal patient is right to be seen at least once at every urgent care.
Best urgent care ever! The doctor is fantastic and same with the nurses and the receptionist. Fantastic team that cares about the patient. They listen and help :)! Thanks again! Highly recommend!
I was seen on time and both the nurse and doctor were very friendly and gentle. The doctor was very thorough and answered all my questions. This is my new preferred urgent care.
My experience at instant urgent care has been above and beyond my expectations. The doctors really care and listen to what is going on and eager to find the root cause.
Ivy, the front desk person I spoke with, was SO kind and helped me make an appointment with a provider that I could trust. I was surprised by this level of care and efficiency, and would recommend this to anyone needing an urgent care appointment.
I received exceptional service in a timely manner. Thank you!
I wanted to visit this urgent care to get my wifes injured foot looked at, but was unable to book online at the portal. It would not accept her Anthem insurance information even though we copied it verbatim from her insurance card. Some of the wording in the error message on the portal was also bad, as it was written using poor English. Since the booking process was too difficult, we decided to go with a different provider.
Kind and supportive medical staff (Doctor & Nurses). The waiting time was slightly longer than I thought.
All of the staff were extremely professional and courteous. I received top notch care. Matthew, the PA who treated me was super knowledgeable and took the time to discuss with me during the process. I’d highly recommend this place!
Terrible experience- I had my checkup and supposed to pick up my result a week after that. As the result didn’t come out, the doctor didn’t tell me to cancel/ reschedule my appointment, but let me wait for more than one hour and charged me with getting nothing. The billing department was not helpful and didn’t get back to me after my follow up with them. I will definitely not go back again, such an irresponsible and awful experience.
I didnt have an appointment, but I was seen promptly. The wound on my arm was treated skillfully and efficiently, and all the staff members were very pleasant. I was impressed.
I paid for my visit from my HSA debit card. Despite the payment going through, a few days later, they went ahead and charged my personal credit card that they had on file.I have been trying to contact them for the last 10 days to resolve this issue and get a refund. They dont answer on any of their phone lines despite calling multiple times each day at different times of the day, nor do they respond to emails. This has been a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to other people.
Worst experience ever. Appointments not in time, doctor not cured you, not doing the diagnostic not even inspect your body. The medicine that was prescribed by doctor I never receive from my drugstore (no order in the system for my name). Ones they prescribed me medicine that was overdue, and after l told them that my condition worsened after I took the medication. They say its impossible, its a good medication. If you want to live a long healthy life, do not waste your time in this urgent care.
My appointment was at 2 pm at three pm I had to ask if I would be seen soon. I saw a doctors assistant. I don’t know if that’s the same as a nurse practitioner? But no doctor. They gave me a flu test, came back negative but he still gave me Tamiflu. Hope it works. He was very nice just not a lot of faith in him.
Easy scheduling for a telehealth appointment. However, I had to wait 20 mins in the video call for someone to pop up. Giving them 4/5 stars for the wait time. Would he helpful if there was an announcement of when the next available nurse would hop on
I had been trying to make an appointment at my doctors office for weeks and they never answered. I went to the urgent care because I couldn’t wait any longer and they were SO QUICK and so helpful. I felt like they answered all of my questions and truly cared. I definitely recommend this office to anyone in need!
I came in for a physical exam for work. The whole process was quick and efficient! I was able to book a follow up appointment the same day. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.
I recommend making your appointment online and filling out your Info remotely as well. It makes everything easier. The 2 doctors Ive seen including doctor Kaur are very nice.
The nurse practitioner was sensitive to my situation. She made me feel like I was going to have a possible solution. I felt realistically incapable of knowing how to help myself. I’m glad I went to see someone but more glad I saw her caring eyes telling me I deserved better. In the end I see a helping hand for once.
I scheduled my appt online and was asked to enter my insurance info, which I did. Then my child was seen by the staff, who were helpful.AFTER my appt, I was given a bill and noticed that my old insurance company had been billed.I went to the front desk and asked that the bill be fixed to reflect my current insurance. And then....I was told that my current insurance was not accepted and that I would be billed $139.00 for the visit! Not good! I’m now waiting to see if the billing dept will fix this...
The staff is a tad sterile. They take no real interest in you. You are here, fill out a form. They feel they have the right to hold on to your credit card information when you walk in the door. The office ambience is nothing more than what you would find at a drive up gas station. The doctor appeared competent but want to get out of the room as soon as possible. No bed side manor or interest in any other issues. The office did appear to be clean. The nurse did try and take my blood pressure incorrectly.
Great doctor, got immediate help, need to get more tests, but couldnt get help from primary care and this place was the right choice
