I have had just one appointment with Dr. Michel so far and I loved her! She was extremely patient with all my questions and gave a frank advice. I am glad to have found her and trust her for my medical needs. Her MA and the nurse are also great and were very kind, helpful and easy to work with. They have the lab, ultrasound everything in the clinic so you dont have to move around a lot to get all tests done.

I have two boys already and Stephanie was unwilling to tie my tubes. I’m now married to the man I was with when pregnant and we are very happy with our 2 kids and adopted babies, we didn’t need anymore. She was very sexist and was saying “what if a future man” wants to have babies with me? No. It’s my body. I’ve had my tubes tied for 4 years now and not once have regretted my decision. My pregnancies were very hard on my mental health. She did not care.

She has been my OB for my two pregnancies and I love her. There’s really nothing more to say, I feel comfortable with her and she makes sure I know understand what is going on.

Good doctor, listens very carefully and she helped me to do VBAC. She does minimal talking, just to the point and maintains a professional attitude.

The care I received from Doctor Michel was exceptional. She listened to my concerns and gave me positive feedback. The entire staff at the Doctors office was professional and made me feel comfortable. Thank you!

Firstly, I live in Waco and drive to Round Rock to see this doctor. If she gets called out of office for a baby delivery they do not call you and tell you. They let you show up and then turn you away. Waste of time and money! During this appointment I felt rushed and overly persuaded to have surgery performed. I called this office for over 2 weeks requesting a callback from either a nurse or the doctor because I had concerns over the medication she prescribed and I wanted to discuss my upcoming surgery. No one EVER called me BACK! I am glad that I chose to have a 2nd opinion with a doctor in a neighboring town. I am choosing to never return to this office again. I will continue my care with the doctor I received a 2nd opinion from.

Dr.Michel is amazing she has been our family doctor for pregnancies for over a decade! She makes you feel very comfortable and she involves both mom and dad in appointments. I definitely recommend Dr.Michel for your OB!

This was my first time seeing Dr. Michel after having been with another provider for several years, and I was a bit nervous. But Dr. Michel was so fantastic and so was her nurse!! Her nurse (whose name I wish I could remember!) was so thorough and had such a calming and wonderful demeanor. She is really so good at her job. Dr. Michel was also so wonderful!! She listened to all of my concerns, spoke to me about options and set me up to do some bloodwork to get some answers. She put me completely at ease and I felt truly heard and not rushed at all. Dr. Michel and her staff are professional and nice! So welcoming and Ive had 2 babies with her - great communication on expectation and both babies were delivered easily and healthy. I have no doubts baby #3 will be no different. Can say enough nice things about her and her staff.

The front desk was rude and seemed annoyed from the beginning of the phone call. I asked a few questions about Dr Michel as I would be a new patient and am weighing my options; some of the questions were answered with “I don’t know you’ll have to ask her when you see her”. I then asked if we could make sure my insurance was covered to which I was also answered “I don’t know that insurance but we can find out when you come in”. Definitely won’t be establishing care here due to lack of professionalism

Although Dr. Michel had to go into a delivery at the time of my appointment, her nurses were great to keep me informed of the time and waiting period. As soon as Dr. Michel was back from delivery, she was efficient in getting to all her patients in a timely manner. When I was seen, she thanked me for the wait and still took the time to address my questions and did not make me feel like I was being rushed out.Dr. Michel always ensures all my questions are answered and is very good in making you feel comfortable in even the uncomfortable type appointments.

Have been seeing Dr. Michel for over 15 years. I have never had a doctor so calm, compassionate, direct, and dedicated to the safety and comfort of myself and my child. I would recommend her and her team time and time again!

I have been seeing Dr Michel since my teenager was born. I feel so lucky to have her as my Obgyn. She is always so nice and very calming. One big plus at her office is her Awesome nurse assistant. Whenever I am there for my yearly check or any other need, her nurse assistant is So nice and helpful. I was just in today and actually showed up at the wrong time. My fault. However, the nurse still helped me out. I know she took time out of her busy day to do that. It means a lot!I highly recommend Dr Michel and Dr Michel’s team!

Dr S. Michel was wonderful. The office is lovely, staff are kind and attentive, and it was extremely comfortable throughout the whole process. I am going to be seeing her regularly when needed. I’ve had Dr. Michel as my OBGYN for 3 years now. She went through my first pregnancy with me. She has great bedside manner and has always answered all my questions or concerns. I’ve always felt comfortable contacting her through the portal for any questions that come up and she has always been extremely responsive.

As a first time mom my nerves were already high and adding a pandemic to the mix did not make it any better. It was very important for me to find care in an OBGYN that was professional, compassionate and that I could trust. I went to Dr Michel because of the reviews I found online and I’m happy to say it was exactly as good as the reviews and even more. My general experience with gynecologist are not good at all. So it makes me nervous to have to do this visit every year and I’m so glad I was able to finally find somebody as caring, educated and responsible like Dr Michel. All the staff at the clinic was really helpful as well. I highly recommend Dr Michel and this hospital. And I appreciate their service and dedication.

Do NOT use Dr. Michel. She prefers to control her clients instead of ask questions to understand her clients needs.I met her for 5 minutes after my 1st ultrasound. The US looked good. Without getting to know me, at 8 weeks she told me Id need to come back at 12 weeks for a pap smear and cervical check ( I had one almost a year ago). I said I wont be doing that & i dont want people messing with my cervix right now (i didnt tell her but it was due to miscarriage trauma) . Her response was then we wont work out. Red flag 🚩no 1.Secondly, Im on a beta blocker which can reduce melatonin up to 80% and make sleep challenging. She knew I would take melatonin (she didnt know how much, how often, or why - cuz she didnt ask). She said she didnt recommend melatonin due to the lack of research. Actually, there is more research coming out that melatonin is helpful to mother and potentially babe. The Sleep Foundation.org states Melatonin may also affect neurological development in a fetus, reducing the likelihood of problems such as brain lesions. But, if not enough research is her logic then beta blockers dont have that much research on their effects during pregnancy either (Class C drugs). Her logic is flawed if she is calling herself data driven.As patient, we deserve care that is collaborative. We deserve doctors who want to get to know us. We deserve to know our options and risks- not only what the OB wants us to do. We deserve to feel safe with great doctors looking at for our wellbeing.I didnt experience anything I deserve with Dr. Michel. Its exhausting to advocate for our wellbeing especially during pregnancy.
