Took my child in for his check up 10/10 best experience I’ve had at a pedi office! Nurses and support staff did an amazing job at making him feel comfortable and safe with everything going on including bloodwork and lab draws!!

The wait was ridiculous, I was there 2 hours I saw the nurse practitioner for less than 15 minutes of that. I spent more time talking to the nurse, she was more thorough and listened better.The Nurse practitioner (watta) was very dismissive of my issues that brought me into the office. She wrote In my summary that she talked to me about my weight because my BMI was high (Outdated system by the way) and she made suggestions to help me lose weight. She didnt bring up my weight even once. She basically wrote off all the issues Ive been having as me being obese even tho Im less than 10lbw over weight.The lady who stuck my arm must have been new or bad at her job. She stuck me and I had blood coming from beside the needle thing while she was doing it. Ive had so many blood draws and never had that happen.

Very rude staff the waiting time was ridiculous.The doctor took longer than my appointment time to see me.the clinic was empty there should be no reason for the long wait.check out staff was rude there were two people are the desks that looked at me and didnt check me out.one woman in the back saw me and didnt do anything.three of people in front were just being on the computer not assisting anyone would rather go to Galveston where the staff is kind and experienced

I literally hate it here I DO NOT RECOMMEND! They are so rude I would always go in so happy to check on my baby and their attitude would just bring me down it’s like they hate their job you can feel their energy, they told me my Medicaid was in active but from another nurse she told me it was so I went along time without checking on my baby. I literally would have break downs because of how horrible they would treat me I was at the point where I was going to sue. I hate this place worst experience ever especially for my first child !!!!

Do not trust this place handling your children with love & care. I took my son in for follow up blood work & CYNTHIA DOMINGUEZ was VERY rough with my son. She didn’t know what she was doing & couldn’t get the amount of blood she needed. She repeatedly took the needle out of his arm & would stick it back in very rough & was visibly irritated that my son wasn’t happy & obviously screaming his head off. After being unsuccessful I told her to just stop because she was doing more harm then good & she proceeded to walk to the front desk & talk about how I was going to hurt my soon by picking up with the tourniquet still on his arm & “I understand he’s hurting but he’s already 12 months” in a condescending tone. As if my son’s age had anything to do with HER not being able to do HER job correctly. I WILL be contacting HR after speaking with the supervisor & filing a formal complaint. BEWARE OF CYNTHIA DOMINGUEZ

Had an ultrasound to see my baby’s gender and the Ultrasound tech was so rude she hated her job and wanted to make Shure my experience as a first time mom and getting to know my baby’s gender was horrible, DONOT get the gender reveal here, it’ll be a bittersweet experience

The worst care I have received, my first baby, I had all the care at utmb Pasadena TX, 6 years ago but this time I was horribly upset, super rude. Today I went to my appointment and they told me that they couldnt give me care because I didnt have any. my medical coverage, I was super worried because I had bleeding, they did not want to help me, they told me that I had to solve the problem without telling me what to do, the attention in this place has really dropped.🙅‍♀️

I have been coming here since I was pregnant with my child. The prenatal care was excellent in my book and everything was great while I had Kelley as my daughters primary care provider but ever since she left this clinic I have had problems with Monica Marshall. This last visit was the last straw for me as a mother. My daughter has had a severe rash for the past week with no other symptoms and she just disregarded my daughter by saying she had the flu and that was it. No tests. My daughter didnt even have a fever but she is covered from head to toe with these rashes.Its high time doctor understood that as parents, good parents we stick our necks out for our kids. We dont want to be ignored and disregarded. I have had to see my daughter be entirely uncomfortable with no medication to treat these rashes. NONE. I am still sticking around with utmb because other branches have been great with my child but im never stepping foot in this clinic again for my daughter. My daughter deserves proper medical care. PROPER.

I always loved it here. so calmed, neat and attentive. I was always looking forward to my appointments.

Everyone at this facility is super nice, helpful, and compassionate. Lauren Watta is an exceptional nurse practitioner. I am very pleased with how efficient and quick and sweet everybody was. Definitely makes me proud to be part of the UTMB family.

The worst clinic Ive ever been to. There were some really nice ladies there but most the nurses were extremely rude and refuse to communicate my test results. They said theyd call if something was wrong but if not they wouldnt. Well they called and left me a voicemail saying to call back so I did. Nurse said shed call me back later. No call. Called today. Nurse said shell call back. No call. So I could have something wrong and theyre just like whatever we dont care. But on mychart everything Ive read looks fine. So which is it? I may never know because they refuse to tell me. If you can afford anywhere else...do it. The ER could do better than these guys. They also said they cant check for endometriosis with an ultrasound which is a complete lie according to the second and third opinion I got from MD Anderson.

Great staff. I always read reviews before going somewhere & this place didn’t have great ones but I have it a shot. And I’m so glad I did! Everyone was so polite & patient. I went on an early Saturday morning, so I was in & out. Thank you ladies for a great experience.

Unfortunately, this is the only clinic that accepts my insurance and I have to hunt them down in order to get my test results back. They told me I have a mass on my left side and of course I want to follow up and stay on top of it but I can never get a call back. I understand things can be busy but I wouldve assumed I would get a courtesy call with my results. I am currently on hold and have been for about 30 mins of transfers between clinics because no one wants to take responsibility. I dont even care whos fault it is I just want to know what to do next.

Had my two babies here and overall amazing experience. Deysi, Dr. Sharp, & Dr. Elliott are amazing! Very professional and caring towards their patients. Deysi, explained everything throughly. From helping me start the process with insurance, to the hospital tour. Wouldn’t go anywhere else, thank you ladies.

If you want to wait hours to not end up seeing a doctor this is the clinic for you. Used to love coming here. My recent visit I don’t feel like I was taken seriously. Update went somewhere else, doctors asked why didn’t they(utmb) do anything about my condition. If I just did nothing like this clinic told me to it could’ve gone bad.

Currently there and im changing as soon as i get approved by the other clinic. Front desk at Pasadena always making you wait or just rude. You go a set appointment and a set time and you wait so long to get seen sometimes even more than an hour!. Want a call back from a nurse? It will take hours for it and sometimes not even a call back. I had to call back 3 times, i waited a whole day and no call so i called 2 times the next day! To get a hold of the clinic you have to go through a long wait and then to a different number that then transfers you to the specific clinic which i dont see why we cant get a direct number to the clinic we are being seen at. Its ridiculous. Seriously been so stressed over this clinic. I love my midwife, she is great and so sweet and wanted to stay but i cant deal with the lack of the staff and clinic.

Worst place ever if u can go anywhere else you should. front desk girls are clueless and dont care at all everytime I call for my wife morning sickness all they ever do is just leave notes for the nurses to reach back to you, its been like ( 3 month) and the nurses just tell u to eat some damn crackers. they just stopped helping me at this point when i call they just tell me a nurse will call me back and she never does dont come here i would give it 0 stars if i could my wife has been throwing up for months and no one is reaching back if something happens to my wife or unborn childIm suing this place!

I love Utmb everybody is very friendly and professional. My Dr Mrs Elliot she is very professional and always gives me all the information that i need. Also Mrs Daisy, she is the most friendly of them all, she always greets me with a smile and asking me how am i doing? Everybody loves Mrs Daisy she brings a smile to our faces. Mrs. Lauren Watta is also a very friendly and nice person with her i feel like if am talking to a friend, she makes you feel comfortable and she also gives you all the information you need .

I am almost at the end of my pregnancy and was nervous at first because of some it the other reviews , to go here. Ive only had to wait more then 30 mins 1 time and that was a appointment that she squeezed me in because I had to cancel suddenly the day before. I usually get here about 5 mins before my appointment and am taken back within in 10 min. Usually I am only waiting in the room 5- 1o min maybe. I have seen a few if the docs/midwives and they all are nice , caring and answer my questions. The front desk and all staff have all been very nice and helpful as well. Overall I am very happy I ended up trying this place out.

I got lucky w the nicest and most helpful compassionate doctor Lisa Elliott. She goes above and beyond for her patients. Highly recommend her.

Front desk staff stephanie carr was extremely rude for no reason. She acted like the simple task of checking me in was going out of her way even though it’s literally her job. Then she failed to tell me I was at the wrong location all because she was mad i didnt end my phone call with my mom to give her my name address and date of birth instead she let me go sit for 30 min in the waiting room until the other location called me saying they couldnt find me.

I went here all the way till 32 weeks, I explained to the LVN in the call that I was not feeling well anymore and told her what I was experiencing so I can get a letter for me to be off from work already for my fmla, she told my original OB which was Pamela and she denied it said that these were the normal symptoms of my pregnancy. A week later I was admitted to the hospital because I had preeclampsia. She doesn’t really listens when you’re physically there with her as well she just does her job and says see you in a few weeks. I was only staying because I had switched to another OB which was Debra in which she’s super sweet and actually takes her time with you and asks for any concerns, but when I was calling for my symptoms I would get sent to Pamela. I really wanted to deliver at utmb but after this happened I switched to memorial hermann and delivered there my new OB is with UT physicians and you can tell the big difference.

If I could give zero starts I could! Every time I step in here I always get bad news. Send me back home. They always canceling my appointment without even telling me no call neither message when I email them regarding about baby health they leave me on seen. They told me my baby had a baby stomach and no ultrasound has be made! They make you wait hours just to be seen for less than 5 minutes. Horrible service and horrible communication!

Debra Sharpe is the most amazing woman who will give you the utmost support on your pregnancy. She does not deliver the baby at the hospital but she supports you through your pregnancy the whole way! My first (second child)pregnancy with this clinic was amazing but something has changed in the last year. They used to be quick to call back but I had several times where my calls were never even returned. I know during COVID they caught a lot of cases from other clinics so their work load was great. Definitely recommend Debra to anyone wanting a VBAC or anything of that sort. She was amazing. I almost hate I won’t be having anymore babies to be able to go visit her. Thank you Debra!

I need Doctor Debbie Sharp! She was absolutely wonderful with my past 2 pregnancies. She always made sure my pregnancy was going well and always helped with all my concerns. Now with my 3rd pregnancy I cant even get a call back. Been waiting since yesterday for help from a nurse and doctor about a concern I have about my baby and I. All I got was a rude answer and again was told to wait for a call back. Seriously!!!

I’m a parent of 8 years old and a 4 year old. My chickens are in check up since they are born never have a problems except for today , the ladies in the front desk they having to have a bad attitude thank you miss Daisy show up and help me. Poor costumer service in the from desk .

I was attending this clinic until i was 20 weeks pregnant when i decided i did not want to give birth in galveston. i changed to woman’s care center at fairmont and the difference honestly is night and day. for example at UTMB, my heart beat and breathing was never checked w a stethoscope and everything i was worried about was “normal”, appointments lasted like 5 minutes after waiting 2 hours, equipment and building was outdated, and i only would’ve had 2 ultrasounds. i didn’t wait more than 10minutes at my new doctor, she thoroughly examined my body and all of my concerns (she even sent me to a specialist) and i had a mini ultrasound to see my baby. i recommend switching if you have doubts.

Do not come here! They neglected me as a patient and now my son has life long issues because their insufficient care. They should’ve monitored my high risk pregnancy more closely. I listened to these “medical professionals” and they didn’t listen to me. They took advantage of me as a young mother and failed me.

All I can say is , dr.Debra ..such a sweet , caring and loving person , made my last pregnancy control such beautiful experience ♥️ I asked her to get me a tubal ligation and she got it for me , I can’t have any more babies “ thanks lord “ but if I had chosen to keep having babies I wouldn’t doubt “ dr.Debra please “ ♥️

I put in an application for a patient services specialist 1 a few weeks ago. I have been trying to call to check up on my application. Not only do these people know where to direct someone but they do not answer the phone. EVER!! No wonder they’re hiring. They really need someone with competence that knows how to answer the phones and call people back.

I have/ had an appointment at 2pm got checked in at 1:42pm it’s now 3pm and nothing have me sitting in a room for a NUSRE VIST!!!! For a depo shot. Like are you kidding me ! I have to get kids from school at 3pm have to call the office tell them the issue. And I’m 15 minutes away !!!! And still haven’t been seen

Bad they take for ever to assist you my appointment was at 1:30 i was ther till 4 never checked me i ended walking out, i missed hours of work for this appointment never again!

They take forever! Bring you to the back and Make you wait forever. They dont care you have a life! I had an obgyn once and every single time the appointment was 45 mins or less. The never keeps you waiting! I should have never came here! Waste of time!

Thank you for scheduling me and not telling me I had a two part appointment at different times, so they wouldnt take me in because I missed the first one. Rescheduling was not an option due to being booked a month out.

Very good clinic, Dr.Susan stone is the best. Everyone there is nice. A 3 star bcs they take forever to send you back and see you. My appointment was at 1:45 it is now 2:35 and I am still waiting.

Been going here throughout my whole pregnancy, my baby was just born a week ago, first time parent and was concerned about some things w my newborn. Was trying to schedule an appointment and the lady on the phone was rude and pretended like my concerns weren’t important enough.

I was here about 45 min early for my appointment. Still waiting to be called and its about 50 min past my appointment time. Theres a lot of workers walking around, looks as if thats all theyre doing. Wont come back here again.

This clinic has staff who answer you very rudely 3 years ago it had friendly people today they are rude girls I shouldnt even give it a star there is racism

This can be one of the best clinic ive been to ive been seen herw for all 3 my kids they have the best ob here i would recomend to anyone .i live 35 min aways from this clinic but i would drive that far to het great service juat to say theres a clinic 5 min aways but i defently qould drive thia farr just to get the great swrvice for my babies...100% great😊😊

Extremely slow and proceeded to take me last even though I showed up an hour later and checked in 30 minutes early.

I found out about this place through a friend on social media and they took good care of me here I had my baby at 30 weeks Im just thankful I found this place in time.

Very bad clinic and bad service in the first ultra sound the nurse was very rude and every time I asked her something she did not answer me or said that she did not know and thus I received very sudden blows in my stomach because supposedly my baby was not visible to the Wanting to change clinics, I went to request my medical record for a clinic transfer, to which they gave me many obstacles, saying that I had to send the records to the hospital, they did not already have any medical report in the clinic and that if I wanted it I had to send it to order and wait but when I sent it to order they were going to Cancel the other previous appointments 3-4 weeks waiting for my paperwork so that at that time they wouldnt send it to me in full I went again and their only response was or is it that you didnt specify that what you were doing when very clearly when requesting a medical file for a clinic transfer they should send you all your records now I am almost at my 39 weeks without a doctor because no other clinic will accept me due to the length of gestation that I already have and the only one that He was going to give me an appointment, but he couldnt give it to me due to lack of information. My medical report that they gave me or sent me, almost 2-3 months waiting for papers and without a doctor or any type of checkup due to failures

Terrible attention! The people who do ultrasounds always seem like they are new. I spent almost 2 hours in an ultrasound apart from the very rude lady who doesnt speak Spanish and didnt want to use a translator either! Before the service was better but now all the staff is new!!!

Very bad experience, I waited 45 minutes and they never called me, I went and told the receptionist 3 times and they just said Im going to send a message and they never called me and I left because the ones that arrived were the same as me, they passed them on and they even left the room.Your appointment

I went to a medical check-up at this clinic and the girl who does the ULTRASOUNDS is very rude. You ask her something and she answers reluctantly. She was hitting me on the belly so that my baby could see himself for a long time with the device that does the ultrasound. I didnt count how many times I even came out sore because I hurt my belly so much. I hope they change it and get someone who has the skills to do the ultrasounds and treat the patient better.

Excellent treatment, from the moment you arrive they serve you better and with a lot of respect, they support you with your doubts, thank you for everything. Super recommended.

I would have loved for them to be honest with me, I went to my first ultrasound at 6 weeks, so I asked if everything was okay and they said yes, they made me an appointment for another ultrasound at 2 weeks and it turns out that my baby is no longer alive, And they tell me that that is why they performed this second ultrasound, because the first one showed that the embryos heart rate was very low. It bothers me that they had told me, I dont know how to prepare myself or I simply had the right to know.

They have taken very good care of my pregnancy in every step to follow and everything they recommend so that my baby is healthy and born well.

The nurses and doctors are very good, since my son was born he has been very well cared for. But the wait is horrible, they check you up to 2 hours after your appointment 😠.. and on the gynecology side it is the same, good care but a lot of waiting. That clinic needs more doctors.

I hadnt been to this place for many years and the truth is I was surprised at the waiting time, compared to years ago, everything was super fast and the doctor was very friendly, the nurses were also very nice♡

I had an ultrasound on my baby to see the heart because of the stroke it has if it does not have more fluid the previous ultrasound on May 5 and to date they have not sent me the ultrasound diagnosis 🤦🏼‍♀️

I only came to get the flu shot for my 3 year old son without a consultation, just the shot and my appointment was at 10:30 am, its 12 and they couldnt give it to him, the waiting room is no longer alone, no I have complaints about the nurses, only about the horrible waiting time just for a flu shot, to be even worse for a consultation.

Hello, good afternoon, well, my experience at the UTMB clinic is good. I think that they have treated my baby very well, but today at this moment I tried to call the clinic wanting to make an appointment for my daughter. She has a high fever and I only go there because I dont know that Aser is very sick and I cant really tell if its another number like m for emergencies. Ive never had any problems until today 🥺

The doctor who cared for my son is very good, but if your son is sick and you need to be cared for, there is never space available. I had to change doctors where they could give him care, then I had to go and ask for information about my son and the secretary. from across the street that she is pregnant, she came out all disgusting, saying that if she was already at another pediatrician, she should ask somewhere else.

They give bad service, they do not give you information apart from the fact that they send us to hospitals where only students treat you and you always end up with complications, and even knowing the problem they do not assist you with the service you require, they give you appointments until the date on which The insurance expires even to complicate things more, I was patient and when I had my son they left me part of the placenta, I got very sick and even knowing that I had a high price, they didnt give me anything and so they sent me home,

Very grateful to UTMB Heath, always attentive to our health, they always helped me with any concerns. Please continue to pay your best attention.
