I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Kathy Jones, and I was thoroughly impressed. Both Dr. Jones and her staff were exceptionally polite and professional. They took the time to explain every step of my care in detail. The depth of their knowledge and years of experience were evident throughout our interactions. Dr. Jones was particularly attentive; she did not rush the appointment and answered all my questions thoughtfully, often providing clear examples. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Jones to family and friends.

As I sit here in Dr. Kathy Jones office I am absolutely appalled!!!! Our appointment was at 2:pm, we arrived at 1:47pm. Mind you I completely all the paperwork last night before my mom’s appointment!! It is now 2:52 pm and the only site I have had of dr. Jones, is her speaking to her receptionist making sure my mom’s insurance was acceptable!!! I have had to fill out the exact paperwork again. The assistant brought us in the room, and again I had to answer the exact same questions AGAIN. Plus some!!! Both front desk and assistant are not fluent in English at all! No problem for me except, I had to repeat myself!!! I have had to to complete more paperwork, information for my mom’s dr. Now, she is asking for emergency contacts!! STILL NO DOCTOR YET!!!! 2:59!! The assistant is back again for email addresses now!! I can’t even continue this review, as I’m getting too upset! My mom is 89years old in a wheelchair having to wait like this is unacceptable!!!!!

Dr. Jones and the entire staff are exceptional. The team is diligent, timely, and demonstrate care and empathy with their patients. Dr. Jones is extremely detailed, knowledgeable, and supportive to ensure patients have a high touch of quality services with their experiences with Orlando Urogynecology.

I overheard her and her staff talking at length about me and how she was going to tell me that she doesnt deal with this stuff. So I knew it wouldnt go well before she came into the room. When she came in, she did not listen to me and was the most condescending person I have ever worked with in my entire life. She let me know that uro-gynecologists are not gynecologists and shood me along.Any review that says the Dr is kind and compassionate, is 100% fake. I did not see a single ounce of compassion.

The office can be a bit challenging to reach and the wait time was rather long at over 1 hour. However, I think it was an abnormal day for them and they are not normally this behind. Dr. Jones was thorough, very knowledgeable and open to discussion. Love that she understands hrt and bio-identical hormones.

This office is more of a boutique styke office and like the private individual care that allows. They always message back right away and squeeze you in if needed.They are also a urogyn which is a unique specialty so a one stop office and are up on the latest and greatest care. It’s a comfortable environment as well.

I got the impression that Dr. Jones may be what Adam Grant labels as a disagreeable giver. These are people who are rough around the edges but have good intentions. He uses Dr. Gregory House from the House TV series as an example.I shared with Dr. Jones that sometimes when you are delivering news that may be activating for a patient (emotional brain in charge), you need to allow the patient to talk a little and provide some reassurance so that the rational brain plugs back in. When the emotional brain is in charge nothing will go through. She seemed receptive once I explained this. She also provided documentation for the procedure she recommended which I found helpful. This also makes me think that she meant well. Furthermore, I appreciate that she was honest with me and shared that the procedure that she suggested can be painful. There are many women in the internet complaining that they were not properly warned and offered proper pain relief options.Paulette has been amazing from the start. Very responsive and helpful.

Dr. Jones is amazing! She covered all bases in providing me the help I need. She listened throughly, and asked the questions that I had not tought of, but were things I was having issues with. I felt very comfortable sharing information about a health issue that has made me feel uncomfortable. Thank you!

Dr. Kathy Jones was very knowledgeable and courteous. Did not feel rushed like you do sometimes with your doctor. Asked is I had any concerns or questions after exam. felt really comfortable talking with her and I had not seen her for quite some time. Wont make that mistake again. If you need a Urogynecologist, shes the one.

I was very happy with my first visit with Dr Jones. I look forward to the future visits.

Every time I go into this office it takes at least an hour for me to be welcomed to the back and another 30 minutes to be seen by the nurse practioner ( I have never seen the doctor). However, I have seen them turn patients away for showing up after 15 minutes. The staff was pretty nonchalent when you express to them that you are working and have other appointments. I have been visiting for the last two years since my GYN retired. (I continued to visit because I had such an amazing experience with him for over 12 years and he transferred his patients to her). When you call you can never get a person because they communicate only through text and virtual calls. I thought this would make my experience more efficient; it has not. I had to write a review because, I shared the office information with a friend and her experience was cold (with the doctor) and she said the staff was rude to her.

Dr. Jones is professional, kind, listens to your concerns, very thorough, and I have total confidence in her.

I have been going to this clinic for years. I feel comfortable with staff, and they are always prompt to respond to my questions. Highly recommend!

I am very happy with my first visit with Dr. jones and staff. I saw a post where someone said they felt most of the good reviews were fake because their post was short. I write short post for good reviews and long ones for the bad ones. I think most people do. So here you go this is my experience with my visit. I was able to get in for an appointment same day due to a cancelation. I was so happy about that because I was really scared about my prolapse. I did have to wait 1:30 minutes to see Dr. Jones but, I personally am okay with that when it comes to a good doctor. I like a doctor that spends time with me. Dr. Jones was very professional and knowledgeable. She took her time and explained everything to my husband and I in a way we understood. She made sure all our questions were answered before we left. I left her office felling a lot more comfortable about my situation.

I enjoy the comfort of being able to open up and speak to about personal issues. The staff is also awesome, as well. I will refer my friends and family to Dr. Kathy Jones practice.

Dr Kathy Jones really listened to me. She was very Informative and Responded to all my question whit-out rush. Very knowledgeable about hormones and menopause. She gave me insights about vitamins too. Another patient that was in the lobby was telling me how glad she was with the doctor and the options she gave her.

I saw Dr. Jones on one occasion. She was angry and rude to me about her office’s mistake in booking my appt. I was taken aback by her manner and was so put off by her behavior that I consulted another urologist about my issue. His solution has worked very well and I continue to see him for a minor surgical procedure every six months. I can recommend him highly. His name is Justin Emtage, MD.Since I am a physician, which she knew, I was not only put off by Dr. Jones’ behavior, but hurt as well. I left her office in tears which is unusual for me. This happened about 3 years ago.Usually, I support other women physicians by giving them positive reviews when they are earned. And at first , I was going to. It says something that I was so upset by her treatment of me that it took me 3 years to write this.As a woman physician, I have had very painful experiences with sexual harassment, prejudice and bad treatment, but this was mostly done to me when I visited male physicians as a patient. To have a woman physician behave as she did to me was certainly unexpected.

Dr.Jones is amazing! Listens to your concerns and spends as much time with you as needed. She explains things in a way that is easily understandable. I highly recommend Dr. Jones!

Dr. Jones was very thorough, present, informative and kind. Would definitely recommend.

Took my mother to be seen by Dr. Jones. I must have tried to call the office at least four times but was responded by either automated message or portal. Spent almost 70 minutes filling up the form which could/should have been sent in my email.We finally go in the check up room and to our surprise, It’s a nurse practitioner going through the form and offering treatment. The doctor when asked was not in the office. She was in fact out of the country. I had specifically asked to be seen by the doctor (MD).In these 70 minutes, no other patient showed up. We were the only ones for almost 1.5 hours.Very misleading, unprofessional people. Worst experience ever. I’m most certain that all these five star reviews are fake. I usually don’t write reviews but I felt like this was necessary.

Dr. Jones made me feel very comfortable and spent the time needed to discuss my diagnosis and treatment plan. She was extremely patient, kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr. Jones. Her staff was also very warm and welcoming. Bring a book and be prepared that you may have some time in the waiting room. The plus side of this is knowing it’s because Dr. Jones is taking her time with each patient.

Dr. Jones is an amazing doctor this was the first office Ive ever been to where the doctor calls you back and checks you in and is so hands on with you. She really listens and makes you feel heard I look forward to my journey with her and her staff

My appointment went very smoothly and results were provided quickly. I especially appreciated Dr. Jones sensitivity and tenderness to my situation. I felt heard and cared for. The rest of the staff was gracious and helpful.

Dr. Jones is one of the most professional physicians I’ve met. Shes a great listener, asks the right questions, and is genuinely concerned about her patient’s well-being.I have severe anxiety issues and speech problems and she listened and explains very carefully with so much patience. I am truly happy that I have her now as my Doctor. The office staff were so wonderful and very caring. This was my first visit and I was very pleased. The other part that I was very impressed was that I immediately signed up to the Patient Portal, I sent a message to Dr Jones and they replied promptly.

Very thorough and transparent with visit. I felt my concerns were heard and worries were settled. I also love that the receptionist was very sweet and understanding about my tardiness.

I had an appointment at this office on May 12th. I was a bit nervous about it because it was my first gynecology visit. Things started out a little rocky when I showed up to the office and was unable locate the Doctor on any of the directories in the building. I made an attempt to Google it ahead of time, but for some reason, the address excludes the suite #. After calling the office twice, minutes before my appointment, the kind woman at the front desk (Paulette) called me back and let me know the floor and suite number. Once I made it to the correct place, the initial visit was a breeze. The staff did a great job of putting my mind at ease, educating me on what they were doing to create a more comfortable experience; However, it took such a long time to get the results of my visit. After the initial visit, I waited a week before checking the patient portal... and had been consistently checking back in every day for a week. When I noticed the results still hadnt been uploaded, I started calling the office, usually closer to the time when they first open. This had been going on for days with no one answering the phone. on June 6th I called the office and left a message; My call still hadnt been returned. On May 7th, I paid the office another visit. This time, there was a different woman at the front desk (I cant remember her name). I approached the desk to receive my results in person. This other lady suggested that I use the patient portal to view the results... as if I hadnt already done that! After explaining that the results werent loaded into my patient portal, she said that they dont call people if the results are good (Well duh! Id *still* like to see the results for myself though) and they dont normally print out results and stated that I would have to wait 2 weeks for the Dr. be back in the office. Since, I didnt meet with Dr. Jones the first time, I thought it was strange that I would have to wait for her to come back just to find out the outcome of the exam. After mentioning this, although she wasnt flat out rude, she *did* seem a bit annoyed that she had to deal with this as a new person. After collecting some information from me, she called Paulette to help settle the issue. When she reached Paulette, she profusely apologized for inconveniencing her (maybe on her day off?), but there was an individual (me) in the office, without an appointment, wanting her test results. She put me on the phone with Paulette, I explained the situation and she had the new girl print out the results. She printed out the results and silently handed them to me; There was no Im sorry that happened, Have a great day, nothing; no acknowledgment. She seemed more sorry to Paulette for simply having to call her than she was to me for the inconvenience of wasting gas to get things done in person! She *did* mention that she was new... and Im not exactly sure what that means from her point of view. Maybe this is her first job ever? I dont know, but what I *do* know is that it costs nothing to show empathy. This is something you either have naturally or at least pick up working service jobs or anything that requires you to deal with the deal with the general public. for a more exact grade, I wish we could give half star reviews. I would give it 2.5 stars instead for the overall experience.*** Before using a product or service, I take the star ratings into account. Where I messed up, was not paying much attention to the actual reviews. Im noticing that out of 355 reviews, the majority of them are very short, generic sounding and none of them have a rating below 4 stars or mentions how difficult it is tospeak with anyone over the phone. This shouldve been the FIRST red flag!***

Dr Jones is serious in what she does and explained to me very effectively what my problems were. And she made sure I understood. She also gave me good advice in what my options were. I was extremely satisfied in her and her staff.

Dr. Jones and her staff are very knowledgeable, which is the most important thing in my book. This was my first visit. I felt very comfortable about returning, and I am pretty particular. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and every question I was asked, I felt my responses were listened to. Bedside manner was stellar - I was treated straightforwardly and intelligently, also important in my book. Due to the nature of my condition, there will be follow-up involved, but I dont expect my opinion to change.Another visit: I am still impressed with this team. I am a woman of a thousand questions, and they never treat me like its an annoyance. Again, care was taken to make sure fittings were right, even though that involved a bit of time. My condition is a quality of life thing, not a life threatening issue, and I expect everything will all come together for full treatment by this summer.Third visit: Again, knowledgable, compassionate team; it appears my issue is solved. I saw the nurse practitioner and a soon-to-be NP in rotations for my final fitting and care advice, and all went well. I am confident that this group will be able to handle any future issues for me.Final visit for a year: Solution worked with this capable team has improved my quality of life significantly. I am very pleased, and would recommend this group to anyone.

Everyone from the front door to the doctor herself were beyond nice and I have never had a more impressive visit of this type. Dr. Jones is obviously very knowledgeable and is kind and compassionate also. She took plenty of time to explain and discuss all options and I felt like I was her only patient that day. Absolutely loved my visit and grateful to have found her.

Dr. Jones is both capable and compassionate. She takes the time fully understand your concerns and to know you as more than a patient. I always feel welcomed by the ladies at the front desk and comfortable in her care. I am so glad I found her and will definitely recommend her to my friends!

Very friendly office. Dr. Jones was very thorough in her intake & explained the process of how everything would be done. She was very personable/easy to talk to.

This practice is professional, caring, wait time in the exam room was less than twenty minutes. Discussion of issues was clear and concise. The nurse practitioner made time to explain things and listened to my concerns.

Dr Kathy Jones is a very knowledgeable and professional gynecologist. She is the only gynecologist that has been able to help me find a confortable and right fitting pessary. She also provided me with up to date information about pap smear testing, HRT treatments and took time to answer all my questions.

Dr. Jones is wonderful she really cares for the over all health and well being of her patients. She listens and takes time to talk and explain you situation to you. Dr.Jones office also has the best nursing staff amazing, friendly helpful.

Dr. Kathy Jones is a top notch professional, explains what/why she is doing each step and what the patient needs to do as part of getting in healthier shape. Shes exact in her mannerisms and very soft spoken which offers calm during the visit. My recent surgery went perfectly. I highly recommend Dr. Jones.

The whole experience was phenomenal. Sometimes it feels hard to be heard at a physicians office-especially as a new patient-but from start to finish I was treated with attentiveness and respect. Procedures and processes were explained to me fully and the ease of booking/friendliness of the office staff was really refreshing. My new favorite doctor.

Dr Jones is very personable and easy to communicate with. She’s also very knowledgeable on a variety of subjects and explains things in an easy to understand manner!

She is such a great doctor with warm personality. She puts the patient in ease and comfort. She listens to patients needs and don’t try to rush through the appointment. She is very knowledgeable and explain the things in layman’s term rather than throwing medical jargans. I had wonderful experience in my visit to Dr Jones office.

Experience at this office was fairly poor. I would recommend looking on health grades or non-google review sites, where the average rating is closer to two or three stars. One review on that site mentioned that in 2019 this office was boosting ratings online by telling people to review only if they had a positive experience.- they recorded my height as being 5 inches shorter than what it is and the report said that I was morbidly obese- they prescribed me an antibiotic that has life threatening interactions with a medication I take, which they knew I was on- it took almost 3 hours, I was almost late to an important meeting. I was also the only person in the waiting room when I came in- the doctor did not perform the exam, which was misleading since I made the appointment to see her and not the APRN- I wouldn’t have even seen the doctor If I didn’t request it, she popped in for about 5-10 minutes at the end (when the “treatment plan” had already been made)- I don’t think they intentionally tried to be rude, but I did not feel all that welcome and was very uncomfortable. Several questions I asked were met with weird faces.- walls are covered in “as seen on TV” treatments….- urine collection cups are kept next to an open toilet, my results came back positive for UTI when a different office tested a few days before with a negative result.All in all I was not impressed and it was quite a disappointing and stressful experience.

I was very happy at the quality of service I received from the staff at Dr. Kathy Jones office on my visit. I had a 9am appointment and was out of there by 9:40am. The staff is very kind and thorough. They were very informative of the changes in procedures as well as during my check up. I considered this time well spent. Thank you J.R.

Dr Jones has a smart and well versed manner who clearly knows her field. I highly recommend her ability to diagnose smartly. She runs a very efficient office. Knowing that you have gone to the right doctor for the right reason means everything and this is a person I trust and respect.

I have known Dr. Jones for a very long time. She has been my Dr since I moved to Florida many years ago. I thought she was the best Dr. I have ever had. I think the same thing currently and even more so now.She is a five-star PLUS.

I have terrible anxiety about going to the GYN. Dr. Jones is kind and thoughtful. She had the personality to ease anxiety. She is professional and has a big brain. I trust her with my care and that is why I drive 1.5 hours for my appointments. Her staff is okay In my book, as well.

It is always a pleasure - albeit the circumstances of my 91 year old mother - to visit Dr. Jones whom my mom loves! Dr. Jones and her staff are not only excellent professionals, but they are very caring, courteous and demonstrate a very caring attitude. My mom doesn;t like going to doctors but when she knows the appointment (which is every six weeks) is with Dr. Jones she is ready to go with joy! I was at Dr. Jones’ Orange Avenue office for 3 hours. People with appointments after me were in and out before me. Despite having a few concerns I was told 1 appointment per concern. I had to beg to get my growing breast lump examined because it was the second concern I listed. Dr. Jones seemed nice enough but the labs she ordered did not apply to my examination or problem. The receptionist took pictures of my personal documents, ID and insurance card, on her personal cellphone. She confirmed it was her personal cellphone twice, loudly, in front of the people in the waiting room. Despite being booked over a month out I was not asked to keep a uro journal until the end of the 3 hours. That was the only form of treatment offered. From a personal standpoint her receptionist was extremely rude and her nurse, though sweet, could not keep track of anything she asked me or asked me to do. I will never go back and I will warn every person looking for a gynecologist to stay as far away from this practice as possible.To add insult to injury I was sent a text from Dr. Jones’ office about my experience. I selected No when asked if I was satisfied and was taken to a page to send the office a message. I went back and selected Yes and was asked to write a review for her page. THIS IS THE ONLY REASON DR. JONES HAS HIGH RATINGS.

Dr. Kathy Jones is one of the kindest doctors I know. She makes you feel so comfortable and most important she is full of knowledge. If she is your doctor you will feel confident in everything she does and says.

Dr. Jones always takes the time to listen and share information. She goes over all of your test information. She has several suggestions to help you. She is patient and goes over things more than once to make sure you understand and welcomes questions or concerns.

My appointment started at the time of the appointment. I was taken back and they started working on me right away. I didnt have to go sit in a room with just a paper sheet on for like a half hour and nobody come someone came in right away. I felt very comfortable with Doctor Jones, she is very knowledgeable.

Although it took time to get an appointment, she was well worth the wait. I think I am finally on the right path to solve the effect of my stroke 11 months ago. Very compassionate and professional Dr., nice office staff too.

Dr. Jones is the BEST!! Ive been her patient for years and wouldnt dream of switching. You know your doc is excellent when you actually look forward to your annual! Staff is wonderful, as well. Awesome!

This was one of the most thorough examinations I have had. My only complaint was that the vaginal examination was I thought, a little too aggressive. I had a tenderness that lasted almost two days. Most unusual because on previous visits, Dr Kathy Jones was so gentle I barely felt anything during or after the examination. I would say that is the only complaint I have ever had. Dr Jones was not the doctor performing this examination this time.I do beleive this is one of the best Doctors offices for the kind of examination and care for women. My last pap was 9/16/21... my ins only pays once every 366 days. The best had me back in a room and advised me off this as I was in on 9/14/22. I did not get charged for the visit and rescheduled for later in the month.

Dr. Jones is a wonderful doctor. She is respectful, kind and understanding. I couldnt ask for a better physician.

Very unorganized. I went in as a new patient for a 11:00 am appointment and was waiting for 45 min even with having all my paper work filled before my appointment. I asked the receptionist how much longer and said another 20 min, not to recall the office closes at 12. She goes do you want to reschedule and I said no I just took time off of work to go there. How you going to have a patient reschedule a promised schedule appointment. They NEVER pick up the phone! I told the receptionist that I know I have to pay a co-pay for my visit and then goes No you dont have one, but then goes head and I was sent a bill. Like what? Dont you check all this information before you inform the patient? They booked an appointment also for me without me requesting one, yet I call to find out why, but of course they never answer. I feel bad because the NP that took care of me was amazing, but not the staff. I will not go back anymore.

I felt completely insecure, fearful, and uncertain after my appointment with “doctor” Jones. She gave me a diagnosis(pcos) prior to having the labs completed; when I ask what could be done for me to correct or limit the symptoms I’m experiencing- she told me nothing I can do about it and that my only option for fertility would be an artificial pregnancy that I would need another doctor for since she no longer deals with pcos patients. She also mentioned the “C” word and said that it’s a possibility that I might get this. I paid a cash fund of $200 just to be looked at for 5 minutes (by a student doctor not even doctor Jones) to than be diagnosed by the same doctor that did not examine me And to not even perform the test that I was there to have done(fertility swab). This practice is a joke and did not follow any procedure. After calling another practice I was told that she was way out of her lane to give a diagnosis the way she did, with such negativity, with no factual proof of anything. I will not be going back and if it was possible I would TAKE MY MONEY BACK IN A HEART BEAT!!!!!

Dr. Jones is truly an Amazing Dr. Her bedside manners are superb. She is very detailed, never rushed. Im so thankful for her!

Dr. Jones has good bed side manner. Wait time is a little longer because she is throuough with her patients. Office staff is friendly and courteous.

I have visited this office twice. My first visit was fine no issues at all. This last visit was not the best. I needed a refill on my birth control and called the office several times within the week to schedule an appointment and they never called me back or answered the phone. I finally resorted to scheduling online and the only available appointment was a month out. When it came time to visit I walked in the office I will admit a little late but not 15 mins and no one was at the desk. I sat and waited a good five minutes before saying hello behind the desk trying to get someone attention. No one answered so I had to open and close the front door again hoping they would hear the ring. When she came up she tried to say I was more than 15 mins late so I wouldn’t be seen, I was not. So they see me anyway so that’s good. Then comes time for the examine and I’m on shark week so they suggest I don’t have it. I was fine with that until they told me they were going to charge me! I didn’t even see a doctor and I had to come back?? This office is crazy. The front desk girl said they were understaffed and thats why no one called back??? I’m sorry that is not my fault you should not charge me when this was the only appointment available that I had to make online because no one called me back or answered when I tried to make an appointment.

Dr. Jones and staff are very caring. Especially when you have these issues that you do not understand. I am so proud of myself for choosing this practice. She is figuring it out, stay tuned.

Its understandable that the office hours would be reduced during these unprecedented times. However, the office staff never answer the phones and you are rerouted to their answering service. Their answering service will not take any messages. So you are left using their portal, or trying to get through to a human on days they actually will answer the phone. The one time someone from their office did call me, they were extremely rude. Clearly they dont need new patients.

My bladder pain was controlling my life and my home was my sanctuary. I traveled all the way to Orlando for treatment several times a year. ( A 90 minute trip in average traffic from The Nature Coast! The place is very cozy, organized, with spectacular treatment and excellent patient education.
