I have been coming to this place for about a Year now and my experience has been great.yabieliz and Alexandra are both great ! They make me feel at home when I come . They are gentle when they are checking my blood pressure and always making sure I’m okay!!!! I Recommend you to come here If you do not have a primary care

First visit was OK. Today however, new staff didnt know how to take blood or failed anyway, first time ever happened to me. 8:45am appointment and at 9:30 I left. My time is worth just as much as the doctors. Also staff very unprofessional, chewing candy cane while talking to me, another squeamish about blood when asked to help by new staff. Not at all confidence inspiring.

Came for an appointment and left very disappointed and uncomfortable with the manager. Michelle was amazing and Liz was very helpful, I had an issue with two different occasions, one being the manager speaking rudely to the two girls up front when theres a rush of patients. I wasn’t able to get their names but It was too hectic that It gave me and other patients anxiety. Another issue was the language barrier, I understand that there is a language barrier but It doesn’t mean to treat the patients like we’re slow, “i dont understand spanish, only English, speak in English” was said by the manager which shocked me. Only reason why I come is due to the convenience and the kindness of the girls up front and Michelle but besides that, I would give this location a 0.

Doctor Michelle has really helped me with my medical needs. The front desk, Liz and Maria, make it quick and easy to book my future appointments.

The office staff made me feel like a wallet, the doctor was nice enough, but would not visit again. Seems like similar reviews from other patients.Edit: was called and harassed about this review.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Having anxiety is a hard thing to deal with. The wonderful staff at Sand lake medical takes your needs into consideration and makes your care plan a individual plan not like some that lump everyone in the same box. They are busy but the team works so well together that your wait isnt a issue. The staff is well trained on drawing blood so if you get nervous dont worry they are gentle. The prices are reasonable and the office is clean. What ever your need you will be in good hands.

The moment Dr.Karen left this clinic’s quality dropped immensely. I used to love this office for all of my needs but after going a few times their true colors showed. The office girls are vicious & wont even let you talk to your nurse after the fact for questions about your previous appointment without being forced to schedule another appointment. They do not care about their patients, they are just out to suck them dry by pushing them into more expensive option’s ironically enough when they are called “Affordable Care” in their name. Its not affordable when you have to schedule multiple appointments for one sickness just to get clarification on anything within your appointment. The person that helped me the first time showed up nearly 10 minutes late anyway so I didn’t even get the full appointment time. They would not even allow me to come in & forced me to do a virtual visit likely to drain me of my money as soon as possible. I am so disappointed because I thought I had finally found my clinic in Orlando, but I will never be returning here again.

The staff are very friendly and timely. You can tell that they actually care and I would definitely recommend to anyone. They go above and beyond to provide great services.

The school gave me this, so I can since it saids walk in for school physicals lol and they tell me that I need an appointment and the earliest would be 2 or 3pm. Mind you its 10am now. I hate false advertisements. And their attitude was unnecessary with the person they were speaking before me. Never coming here or recommending at all.

Waited over an hour just to be seen and it seems like when you want answers, the staff up in the front gets frustrated. Do not recommend as they give you an appoinment for a particular time and the patient doesnt get seen until an hour later. Horrible experience!

Walked in with my father because of dizziness. Was told they are not urgent care but they would see my dad. Front desk very helpful knowing we were from out of town. Back office fantastic and then there was Dr. Anne. She was very helpful in giving us the best medical knowledge and care we needed. She was very thorough with my dad and made him feel safe. Staff was unhelpful. After diagnosing covid, refused to complete documentation required to provide to my employer, after telling me to send the required forms via email. When I asked to speak care provider I worked with they demanded I make another appointment and pay another co-pay if I want the documentation to be completed.

. This place is HORRIBLE. Im an asthmatic and have currently been out of a rescue inhaler for 2 weeks, having to run to a neighbor to use his Inhaler. They refuse to give me the ProAir which is what I need and refuse to cooperate with insurance on the script so I can get a second inhaler of the medication that doesnt work correctly. They need to be shut down and licenses revoked. Not to mention the several different lies on the matter Ive been told. Ive reported them to the Florida Medical board.

Great experience here! The staff is friendly each time my dad and I have been here! Kiara has checked us in both time and Lissie is so incredibly warm and friendly! I always love talking to her and its such a joy to hear about her life! Anne is also really great! She know my dad cant speak a lot of English and is always very patient with him! Even though we dont really like going to the doctors, theyve always made coming here such a pleasant experience! :)

They charge an out of pocket fee outside of insurance for lab draws. Says its a convenience fee. They give you a hard time to be seen as if they dont want to see you.

Now I know where to go if we ever need a doctor on vacation again: Drs. Ann and Sam were both great! They listened, didnt make me feel rushed, were very competent, and were friendly on top of it! Got right in and didnt waste a lot of time. Office was small and cozy-feeling, not overcrowded and corporate-feeling. They were able to solve my issue right in the office, too...all with very reasonable pricing! Would definitely go back!

Even though I don’t live close to this location anymore, I still wanna keep Karen Carter as my doc to go to because she’s so attentive! She was able to get my appetite back when my other doctors couldn’t, and her bedside manner is amazing... she really takes the time to get to know you as a patient and I never feel rushed. The front desk receptionists are so sweet and approachable as well, this is a great doc office to go to for your personal needs :)

The clinic is great, I love the atmosphere . The place smelled amazing and look great. But the staff too young lady that came across at the front desk or very nice and welcoming. I had an amazing experience at this clinic! I mistakenly came on the wrong day for my appointment, and they still squeezed me in for today as a walk in. I only waited about 30 minutes. From start to finish, all the employees were so kind, professional and informative. The rooms that I went in were very clean. I highly recommend this clinic.

I felt very bad and without a medical plan, they helped me and were very empathetic. They charged me very little for the consultation and in addition to that they gave me a coupon for my medications. Excellent doctor and very good staff.

My appointment was scheduled for 12:30. I was literally done from sign-in to sign out in 20 minutes. Tiffany was fast and very polite. The Dr. I saw (Karen) was absolutely awesome. She gave me a 3 month supply of my meds and even found the pharmacy that would have my medicine for the lowest price. Very kind and caring team. I will definitely be returning. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I have been coming here as a patient since 2019. Its a great place and I am able to get tests, labs and be well taken care of there. The staff is great and Lissie and Tiffany always get me in since I work in surgery and I may be late to appointment. Both the young ladies are a pleasure to deal with. They have great hours as well.

This team is amazing. During my visit everyone was so nice and caring. I want to say a special thank you to the front desk agent Kiara who helped me get checked in seamlessly. Also to Lizzie who was so sweet and friendly while taking my vitals and finally Anne, my provider. Anne was awesome in listening to my concerns about my health and directed me to the next steps for my care.

I came to Florida to start over and my life was flipped upside down...I came to this clinic to get help with my treatment and they worked with me and was so patient and amazing! Lissie(sp) was the most amazing nurse! I seen one Dr. That Friday and a nurse practitioner on Monday...I never felt judged and they truly LISTENED TO ME! Dr. Karen Carter takes care of my whole family! She is the first doctor that we have had in a very long time that actually sits and listens to you. She even knows our names when we walk in the door! She is awesome at her job! The office support staff are warm and welcoming! Awesome job, Dr. Karen, keep up the great work!! Definitely recommend to anyone!

My husband and I acquired the flu last year and were determined to get the flu shot this year to avoid 2 months of being sick. We were absolutely miserable. I contacted the Affordable Care Clinic on Sand Lake Road and was given an appointment that evening, as were planning an out of town trip and needed the shots before getting on a plane. When we arrived, the waiting room was pleasant and clean, the receptionist greeted us and she was very gracious and kind. Ms. Carter gave us our shots and it was so simple and easy. We will definitely get the shots again next year and get them here! Thank you for helping us stay healthy!

Great experience at the Sand Lake location. I was in dire need of an allergy (pollen) treatment. After calling 15 different doctors and clinics the staff at Affordable Care clinics Sand Lake had an appointment the next day. Very friendly, personable, helpful and caring staff. Fantastic service. My daughter was having issues with complications from an ovarian cysts, contacted the clinic last minute since she doesn’t have insurance and was accommodate. Front office staff is welcoming and pleasant. Nice and neat front office. My daughter was seen by N.P. Karen Carter who has good bedside manners and very caring. Not only did she prescribe the necessary medication for her, she also advised her on healthy lifestyle. Thank you N.P. Karen, we will be back.

I scheduled my appointment online and immediately they called me to reschedule so I wouldn’t be too long. I thought that was very considerate despite the fact that I was in pain. When I got there, the staff was amazing and so kind. The dr who treated me and was caring and very concerned with my eye. I had my meds called into the pharmacy and began treatment last night. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a walk in clinic. I will be back.

My second time coming to this clinic and the service is great. I made an appointment and was serviced within 15 minutes of the time scheduled. The M.D. here and Nina at the front desk were extremely nice and helped answer all of my questions.

Steer Clear of this site! Rude and uncaring staff and clearly an unprofessional and untrained leader. My daughter was approved along with our insurance to see a care provider at this site as she had been ill for 5 days, when she got to the clinic the reception staff told her that they would not take her insurance and she would need to leave. She drove 40 min to the site after searching for hours for a provider that would take out- of -state insurance because she is a student. When I called to share with the clinic supervisor that I was very upset, she offered no apology just a bunch of excuses mostly blaming Zocdoc for approving the appointment. It is hard enough as a parent to be thousands of miles from your children when they are ill, but finding hope that there is someone to help only to have them slam the door in my daughters face was incredibly disheartening.

I scheduled a appointment with the doctor. Upon my arrival I provided the young lady at the front desk my folder containing my medical records so she could make copies if needed for my file she returned my folder with all my documents mixed up. Perhaps if she wasn’t there gossiping about another employee she would have been a bit more professional and handled my documents correctly. Then I get called back and a nurse (Karen Carter) comes in (not the doctor I paid out of pocket to see) and skims through my documents then opted to not bother told me I needed to see a specialist for a biopsy but good luck finding one who would see me without insurance she then prescribed a antibiotic and a steroid (with out doing any blood work) after one day of taking the steroid I felt like my lungs and chest were being ripped open. After speaking with my current pcp in regard to this she advised this was poor ethics on the nurses part and she should have done proper testing prior to prescribing medication that had reverse affects due to my current medical condition. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DONT HAVE INSURANCE OR IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR REAL MEDICAL TREATMENT and if you opt to my advise is if you get APRN Karen Carter run!!

Extremely professional, courtesy and accommodating. The Nurse practitioner was knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate. Would definitely recommend. Cash paying and most affordable practice in the area...trust me I called at least 10 offices to get a test done and everyone wanted over $300.00 and they were only $119 for the visit and test! Thank you again.

They were friendly and patient. The doctor wasnt stand offish in anyway and answered all my questions. I came in there stressed out about a lot so my mind was all over the place and I thought I gave them more money than the $89. I felt foolish to find out I was counting the rest of my money in my wallet wrong but they didnt get mad with me and accepted my apologies. Overall this is Great Walk in clinic and definitely affordable. Probably the only one Ill go to from now on!!

This is so far the best clinic I have been to as a first time patient. All the staff works here are knowledgeable and do like to love to care for their patients. I cant say enough good things about the staff at this facility! They were all very professional, they cared about my daughters health, really listened to us and gave her exactly what she needed to get back on her feet asap! They saved our vacation!! Thank you!

I went to another doctor the week before I went here and the difference was night and day. The week prior they rushed me out and told me “change this change that and bye”. The doctor here at affordable care clinics, listened and addressed all issues before she let me leave. You could tell she cared about making me feel better and that’s how a doctor should be. Asked hundreds of questions and wanted to make sure she got the right diagnosis to treat me. Will definitely be going back in future. But thanks to this little place I don’t think I’ll be back too soon.

This clinic is by far the best I’ve ever been to. The response is amazing and there is no wait time. The nurses really care about your well being. Karen is so sweet and very efficient. I definitely will be coming back here!!!!

I just switched to this clinic and have to say the staff is very friendly and compassionate with the patients. I had brought my 2 toddlers in with me and they engaged and were ok with them being loud ect. They are quick and the cost of visits are a great price.

Best doctors office I have ever been to

The Nurse Practitioner Grozdanich tried to argue with me over a physical where she was barely in the room for 4 minutes. I’m an RN with a Masters degree not a child. Front desk staff passive aggressive. Just go somewhere else.Later today I went to pick up my paperwork and was confronted by the office manger and the nurse practitioner for writing a truthful review! The office manager said nurses have to stick together?! Trying to pressure me to change my review. I felt super uncomfortable.Wow very hostile environment! Then received a fake apology as I walk out the door. Why did I even come here? Run!!!!!!

It was a quick wait to be seen. The doctor I saw was really nice, I got my medicine and my referrals that day. Most primary care doctors on my insurance said Id have to wait a month to be seen, but this clinic got me in the same day I called.I recommend my friend come here too and she also had a great experience.

I never once saw a doctor in here in the 2 years I was a patient. I was always charged for the free yearly physical from my insurance by this company. My insurance company dropped this place from my coverage a couple of months ago so that I can get a real doctor and not a bunch of nurses playing doctor. This place is a quackery. Telling me to get on a paleo diet and writing vitamins and homeopathy from a torn off piece of a yellow legal pad. Find somewhere else if you truly care about your health. They will rip off your insurance, and not offer you any help. They also do not fill out FMLA paperwork.

I was visiting the Orlando area from England and went to this clinic when I developed severe chest pain. I was seen by Nurse Practitioner Karen Carter who very quickly gave me a diagnosis and a prescription for tablets. She also arranged for me to return 2 days later for an ultrasound to confirm her diagnosis. I was given reports for my GP when I returned home. Very professional and friendly service.

I am from out of state and in need of renewed prescriptions. This clinic had me in and out with no drama. The staff was proffesional courteous and extremely efficient. This was by far my best medical experience and i am 58. When in Orlando and in need look no further. They even accepted my insurance. Awesome experience.

Our experience proved that the staff and service there live up to the good comments, my son was seen without waiting, the prescription medication worked it magic and we were able to enjoy our vacation fully in sunny Orlando.

Karen Carter has provided exceptional care for my family, she has gone above and beyond to listen and genuinely care about our needs, not to mention her incredible and vast knowledge about everything. We moved to the area almost a year ago and not only did she find a pretty serious issue with my sons heart, my husband had also been having a very rough experience with the VA since moving, I finally convinced him to come see Karen and she did not disappoint, she listened to all of his concerns and got a plan of action to get him back on track! Im visiting from California, no insurance coverage in Florida.Had a severe skin rash for weeks and it was not going away.Lissie at the front desk/Medical Assistant was extremely accommodating from the first phone call I made in scheduling and fitting me in their last appointment to the end of my visit, checking online what pharmacy would be the less pricey for my prescription medicine.Dr. K. Carter attended my skin rash and demonstrated sincere concern. I was truly impressed with the personable care I received. This is definitely a 5-Star Plus in my book. This medical facility is transparent, convenient, and affordable. I’m always seen by a doctor and assisted with whatever I need. The service is remarkable and the doctors are friendly. No one enjoys having to go to the doctor but this facility makes the process seamless. I also respect that they don’t treat patients without insurance poorly. The care is consistent.

Staff is polite. I inquired on taking my mother to their care center and asked them if they take Medicaid, and if there is any additional information that I need to know to insure her insurance will cover her visit. I was told that she needed a gold Medicaid card and her drivers license, so I drove about 40 mins to go to this location only to be told shortly after that they dont accept Staywell Medicaid. I find it to be very unprofessional when I emphasize on inquiring information about insurance acceptance for my mother who just received her Medicaid insurance card only to be turned away. A waist of my day from work because the staff was not informal enough to let me know that a gold Medicaid card doesnt necessarily mean that she qualifies after they reassured me it would. Wouldnt be surprised if this has happened before.On a side note, i wasnt late but remember seeing a sign stating that if you are 15 mins late there is a $25 fee for missed appointments. From this experience, I can only assume they value their time but not their consumers.

The staff is super friendly and i liked them very much. However i bought my first weight loss package through groupon and i ask the the 1st visit how much will it cost to get the second months package and i was told 119, now i return and they said beacuse groupon incese their price now it will cost me 150. What a rip off and misinformation was i given. Even the other person that help me today said is was 119 but let me check to make sure. Once she ask whoever that was she said 159 the best i can do. Well that was not what i was told.

Dont waste your money. Do yourself a favor and find another appropriate clinic where they will treat you with a respect as a patient. The service was really bad and staff were rude. I couldt even see the Dr. Kantilal Bhalani that i was assigned. They send me another guy which they say he was the assistant. When i asked where is Dr Kantilal that i came to see, they told me he was not available at all. They rush me up and walk me out of the door. I did not get the value of the service i paid for. I was very dissatisfied but they did not CARE!

Apparently no one knows how to do there job correctly. Made a new patient appointment, took the day off from work for them to tell me that they cant see her because of her age. If they knew that they should of told me from the beginning instead of making me the appointment. Very disappointing that they dont people this.

I definitely was wrong this doctor helped me tremendously! I was kind skeptical on the diagnoses that she gave me, because wasn’t having any ear infection pain whatsoever! But woke this morning and I feel so much better and I had fluid that came out thank goodness! Thank you so much!!!

Reviews are actually why I ever started coming. I love it here, the entire staff is kind,welcoming, & most importantly timely, Ive NEVER had an issue with appointments or anything of the sort. It also helps that they are open on Saturdays.

Very dirty clinic, staff was rude and slow, not proficient, seems poorly ran with front office not having a clue regarding appointments or why people are there. Everyone also seems very prejudice if you dont speak Spanish but even if you do also might be screwed, would go anywhere else but here.

Love the place good customer service. The doctor is very welcome explained everything on the dot. Im happy with my results I lost 13 pounds with the B12. I will go back .

I am seeing this doctor so that I may be established on Floridas compassionate care registry and anyone who has seen medical marijuana legalized knows the confusion and bureaucracy involved at various governmental levels. HOWEVER the doctors at this office are extremely knowledgeable and helpful at weeding through the confusion of the system. The staff here are also incredibly understanding and compassionate as well which is very helpful for someone who is seeking medicinal cannabis in a world filled with stigmas and stereotypes.

This place is staff friendly and the cost is very reasonable. Today I went in to take care of a swimmars ear problem and they easily cleaned out my ear with no problem. Definitely recommend this place. Its an easy check in check up check out process.

I paid to get seen for coughing and congestion no fever. They said I have acute bronchitis. I was given antibiotics I took for ten days she said coughing may continue a little while longer. A month has past have same symptoms called back ask to speak with doctor 3 times no one has called me back. They said since it’s been a month come pay us again we will reevaluate you. You did not diagnose me right the first time so come pay you again for you to quests..It is a sinus infection that needs a z pack...but can not get no help.Frustrated 🙄

I needed a complex medical report filled out for a job working abroad. The team at Sandlake was extremely helpful and professional through the entire process. Any time they were unable to do specific tests in the office they helped me find a place that could. I am so happy to have found them!

Yesterday was my second time going there even tho the service is horrible I went there for an ingrown toenail like last time ok here is the thing yesterday they made me wait one hour for the provider literally one hour ok and however after waiting one hour the provider wasn’t able to help me and that’s fine she told me to get my money back but front desk ppl refused to give me the refund I literally pay 89 dollars for waiting hour for nothing they maybe don’t know how hard ppl work to get the money ima be posting the receipt seriously 89 dollars for wasting my time and being told to go somewhere else???????????????

An appointment took way too long. i hd scheduled a time for 1:15pm but i just got seen at 2 and then it took forever to the doctor come to see me. Unbelievable.

Such a headache this place, I felt like they wanted to squeeze money in any way out of me or my health plan. I dont recommend it, they didnt want to help at all.

Worse customer service ever; It says walk ins and I just got off work because I’m not feeling good and have palpitations and chest pain and she said I have to wait for over an hour to get attended; Si if I’m having a heart attack hopefully not over an hour; So they couldn’t chem me just left and I’m driving to the hospital hopefully I don’t get a heart attack omw

Went to get a stye checked and since I’m pregnant was suggest to place warm compress and continue with antibiotic ointment. Advised to come back if continues to worsen

Great service , fast service, They listen to your needs and concern, my medicine was 40$ in Walgreens and they helped me get it for cheaper 25 by sending it to a CVS. If you have no insurance come here!!!

Had no idea this place was right down the street from where I live and the prices here are extremely reasonable I will definitely be making regular visits to. The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to I went in because I was having stomach problems and they gave me all the test that I needed to have and gave me a prescription.

Dr. Greg, Lissie, and Keyza were very quick efficient and most of all personable. Hands down greatest team I’ve come across in awhile!

I feel like the people in the front were very rude and made me very uncomfortable I’m not sure what reason I was so uncomfortable I chose another place they have very bad customer service the lady was really rude to me and basically combined me in a stereotype please choose somewhere other than here to go

I took my mom to this place for some check up. They are really friendly and helpful. I was really happy with the service they have provided.

Worst experience ever! Don’t recommend going there if your care about your health! Looks like the care more about charging you their fees than something else. Not to mention that equipments they use didn’t look clean, and staff doesnt follow hygiene rules at all!!!

Not open til 7 like it says online and outside of the office. We drove all the way there, waited in traffic, and they were closed. We called and no one answered. There was nothing online or outside about the holiday.

Bad service between doctors and receptionists. They are people who go to work for a check not because they actually like it or are interested. I do not recommend them.
