Planned Parenthood - Orange Health Center

My ultrasound tech was pretty unprofessional. I was coming in for my first ultrasound already feeling nervous and she gasped when she saw my blood pressure and was telling me it was really bad, i started freaking out internally a bit. She took it again and then it was normal. Kinda freaked me out for no reason. During the ultrasound she was just rushing through it, gave me about 20 seconds to look at the image of my baby then it was over. Overall she was nice, just seemed a bit immature/unprofessional.

Called to get a basic question about a procedure I had done and the DEI hire couldn’t answer because she “didn’t understand”, telling me I had to travel across the United States to physically show up to speak to a doctor about it. Horrible facility. Doesn’t even deserve one star. These people suck.

I had a very good experience here, the doctors and nurses took very good care of me which made me feel much less anxious and scared

The doctors & nurses here are more attentive than my big brand doctors ever were. All the ladies are lovely, despite the tough nature of their work & the harrowing things they must see day in & out.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jacobson. I went in for LEEP surgery (similar procedure to Pap smear). I was hoping that gel would be used to numb the cervix, but to my dismay she informed me it’s a shot, yes inside the vaginal canal onto the cervix. After hearing this I had a mild panic attack, and she was kind and reassuring. During the procedure I felt only slight pressure from the speculum. She was so gentle with the needle that I did not feel the prick at all! Though I cried from the feelings from this vulnerable position, it was not AT ALL from pain. She is absolutely fantastic, and would highly recommend. 10/10 visit

My doctor and my nurses were so sweet and informative of the process. However, the receptionists made my visit frustrating. They originally charged me for services I never asked for and when I told them that I have had the same appointment at another place for hundreds less than what they were charging me, they claimed my medical insurance must have changed which isnt true. Then, when I wasnt able to go through with the procedure due to medical conflicts, they were still charging me hundreds of dollars with only $15 subtracted, not even a full refund. Such a frustrating situation.

So thankful for the help Ive received at this clinic. Ended up having pregnancy complications and they have been so extremely helpful in taking care of me. (More than my own actual OB which says a lot). The whole staff are so kind and work very hard to take care of their patients. I highly recommend this clinic.

I went in for a procedure that I had been waiting 2 months for and of which felt a considerable amount of anxiety.Dr. Patell was personable, kind, and supportive. She shared her personal insights and also educated me on various topics surrounding reproductive health as well as the details of the procedure I was about to get. I was scared of the pain and we talked through that. I felt held, supported, and guided. I feel my experience with Dr. Patell was the best experience with any doctor that I have ever had. The nurses at the Orange Health Center were all warm, friendly, helpful, and so kind. I usually dont write reviews, and I had to this time because it truly moved me to tears how held I felt throughout the entire experience.I am endlessly grateful to Planned Parenthood, and everyone at the Planned Parenthood Orange Health Center, from the receptionist to the medical assistants to the nurses and doctor Patell were all so accommodating, nurturing, personable and present. I cannot thank you enough. It was a challenge to face my fears, as I am highly sensitive to medical procedures, and my experience could not have been any more positive.Thank you all so much for your dedication to quality womens reproductive care.

I had an appointment, showed up on time and and checked in. I got an initial phone call with health questions and was told to wait for a follow up call before coming into the center. Due to a technological malfunction on their end I never received this follow up call. I went into the center after waiting 40 min past my appointment time only for the staff to be unsympathetic and tell me that there was just a miscommunication and that I was marked as a no show and would have to wait as a walk-in. After an additional 15 min in the waiting room they tell me it was too busy and I would have to wait a lot longer. At this point they sent me to another location with a shorter wait time. Overall was disappointed with the lack of concern with my issues and having to wait over an hour for what should have been a 10 min appointment. I would recommend the Santa Ana location as the staff is much more helpful and friendly.

I spoke with Julia today and she was helping me get my vaccine scheduled and I gotta say. She was just so friendly and understanding and provided great customer service. Yall better be careful, Im tempted to get her a job in marketing with me haha!

Easy and straightforward healthcare experience. Much more affordable than anything else in the area. Staff was kind and helpful, and Carolyn the midwife was lovely!

From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable everyone was so nice and took the time to talk to me I didn’t felt like I was being judged I can honestly say that from the nurses to the doctors ALL OF THEM CARE!! I have never felt comfortable at a Docor’s office in my life except for here! Thank you everyone!!

My first visit here in the Orange location was mediocre compared to the one I normally go to in Anaheim. The medical assistance kept saying okie dokie, which to me is unprofessional and seemed childish. When she took my BP, she told me herself she was inexperienced with the new blood pressure monitor and had only used the old school ones. Sara, the clinician, walked in without knocking, didnt greet me by name, didnt explain the expectations I should have for the examination, so I wasnt prepared for how uncomfortable it was and how long it was going to take. She warned me that another medical assistant (no name provided) will join us in the middle of the examination while I was propped up in stirrups. There was no name given and she walked in without knocking, without introducing herself while the privacy curtain was still open. They were chit-chatting through the examination before realizing they havent small talked with me, but Sara did while I was propped up. It was very awkward and seemed forced. I was never verbally told that the examination was over so I sat there awkwardly with my feet in stirrups. Sara instructed me to get dressed and head to the front and she left without closing the privacy curtain.

NO RECOMMEND AT ALLI had an appointment at 1:30. And I had to wait over 2 hours. It does not make sense if you make an appointment and then still wait 2 more hours. THEY VALUE YOUR TIME. No way, completely lie. The staff is not helpful at all. If you can not make sure the time for customer why you recommend us to book an appointment? And let them wait just like walk-in.

I went here to have a standard polyp removal, nurse practitioner ended up puncturing a blood vessel i had internal bleeding which became outer bleeding for a month. No one could diagnose me I ended up in the hospital needling 4 blood transfusions and a emergency surgery. It almost cost me my life DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY.

Great experience! Practically no waiting time, everyone is super nice and friendly. Very efficient, all needed information and options explained. Everyone is very professional. Place is clean and has good vibes. Excellent from every point.

I DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL! They dont give you the information needed they didnt even let me talk or explain my symptoms saying that sore breasts, nauseous, etc. and 2 months missed period is stress and because im too fat. They called me fat in such a unprofessional way. Instead of doing some tests on me like ask they tried convincing me that its all stress when I dont stress at all making me doubt my own body and insecurities came to me. They only had me there for 5 minutes trying to give me pills when thats not what I ask and they didnt even explain as clear the way to use them. Saying that birth control pills dont affect the baby which we all know its a lie First time there and it was a HORRIBLE Experience never going again!

Their scale is not calibrated properly because I just saw my doctor with more than one scale to measure me and my weight was way lower. shows that they don’t know about medical scale calibrating.

I had a great experience here! I made an early morning appointment and was seen right away. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I was in and out in about an hour.

I have always supported PP but they have no clue what insurance they take or if they even take straight Medicare. Its just too frustrating to deal with.

Horrible people. Wouldnt let the fiancé in to see the ultrasound of their babys first heartbeat. Change Doctor if youre going through with the pregnancy

Dr.Aby is the best !!! I was super nervous about a procedure that I had to get done , she explained everything to me and made it very easy . She is the best Dr. from planned parenthood .

Unmotivated staff. Provider ignored my request to pee for a pregnancy test. don’t go here beware this place is not diversity friendly.

Clean and all but like most clinics takes long. Been there once but didnt get seen. Hopefully my upcoming app. is a fast one.

Not recommended they take a while to take people inside even if you have a appointment. Dont like this office at all they took almost a hour for my appointment.

This location used to be fast and efficient but things have changed. Time management and/or staffing is lacking.
