This clinic has been awful to work with,i was never paid. The contract was 90 days and it’s passed that and my calls are being ignored. It’s like no one works in the office. I’m 100% sure they never intended to pay me.I literally keep getting the run around stating “I promise we are doing everything we can and no payment. They are taking advantage of people!!!I decided to become an egg donor because of my surrogacy journeyThis place seems nice on the outside but for one pays very little to their egg donors and also have tons of reviews and other on top of saying that Dr lane has not paid or paid very late past the contractSo far everything has been awful. My trip out there was to leave at 5 am leaving me waking up at 3 and at a hotel I paid for near the airport.Just to find out when I get there I had to pay for my own carry on. My companions carry on and my checked luggage ($200) out of pocketThey give you $600 on a GIFT CARD that was not mentioned until way after the process was started like 1 day before I leftThis $600 does not cover all the costs for 2 people. So $600 for just you, or $600 for 2 people. That amount does not change and they insisted I bring someoneThe “hotel” was really a motel that was aweful. Infested with bugs. Little to no breakfast, refrigerator didn’t work (which is required for medication) etcMind you hotels don’t allow check in until 3 and I arrived at 9am so I was stuck hanging around for hours before I could even check in with no gift card yet.. so spending my own money on Uber and food etc.The clinic staff was very nice but I left pissed off due to every little thing

Been an egg donor twice at this clinic.My first donation was back in January, although I did get paid two weeks after the 90 days that said on the contract, Vivian kept me updated about the delay and responded to my emails.My second donation was on July, and per contract, I was supposed to get paid on October. It is now December and still have not received payment or a response from my emails.Ive emailed the Dr., a nurse, and new donor coordinator multiple times and I am being ignored. They have no update what so ever. I think its unfair that I followed all instructions with medications, attended my appointments, and gave them my eggs, but yet I cant get compensated on time.Other than compensation, everything else went well. Medications were delivered on time, they were very friendly during my visits, hotel stay was perfectly arranged, and surgeries went well, however, I cant give them 5 stars if they are breaching their part of the contract...

If you’re considering becoming an egg donor with Lane Fertility in Novato, California, I strongly advise caution. I donated with them back in June 2024, and according to the contract, they were supposed to compensate me within 90 days. However, despite reaching out, I have yet to receive any payment, and it’s well past the agreed-upon timeframe. It’s extremely frustrating to go through the emotional and physical demands of donation, only to be left in limbo regarding compensation. If you’re thinking about working with them, please be aware of this issue before moving forward. !

If I could give a negative Star I would! The worst egg donation place ever . All the negative comments on here are TRUE. They took forever to pay me and didn’t even pay me all my money!! Till this day they STILL OWE ME some of my compensation. it was way past the deadline and I could not get a hold of anyone via email or call and if I called they would act stupid like they couldn’t hear and hang up. I’m not sure how this place hasn’t gotten sued yet, but I’m sure a lawsuit is coming soon based on all the bad reviews I’ve seen.

If I could give this a review less than one star I would. My first conversation December 16th 2021 was with Vivian De Lima from lane fertility about being an egg donor on 4/22/2022 I did my successful egg donation with lane fertility communication was fine up until it was time to pay me 5/2/2022 they told me that I couldn’t receive my payment until I did a two week follow up appointment. Once I got home I went to a doctor off a list they had given me of options to go to in order to be checked out to make sure I was ok I went got checked out by a doctor off of their list and got a clean bill of health I sent over the paperwork the doctor had given me the same day I went stating that I was fine. And after that they were all of a sudden hard to get in contact with it was always Vivian is in a meeting she can’t come to the phone Dr.Lane is out today it came to a point where they stopped answering my calls and emails all together. I’ve gone thru every channel I can think of in order to be paid and nothing has worked it is now December 29th 2024 and I still have not been paid by lane fertility I need help. And I have emails,photos and evidence to prove everything I am saying.

I have a friend who donated eggs back in June 2024 and she still hasn’t been compensated! It’s really heartbreaking for what she has to go through and never for what she deserves. Her heart was in it and she was so proud and giving to be able to give someone a chance to have a baby. But she also expected to get paid as well. Reading all the other comments and reviews I’m not surprised she hasn’t been paid yet. This facility is a lie and just down bad wrong.

Here’s to my first review….ever!If you’re thinking this is going to be another gory bashing, another slaughtering review for Lane Fertility, I’ll do my best to refrain. I think this clinic has more than enough of those and I don’t want to add insult to injury. However, I will say….After reading so many angry and negative reviews, I naively thought I would give this clinic the benefit of the doubt. Afterall, I was pursuing an entirely different service than many reviewers below and I am not associated in any way to previous patients. In fact, I was on my way to leave a glowing review upon leaving the office as I found Dr. Lane to be initially very helpful, personable and accommodating during my visit.I couldn’t be more wrong.I was called the next day and was informed that I would be charged more than 2X the amount than was agreed upon in office, due to a costly mistake on the clinic side. After some back and forth phone conversations filled with insulting and passive aggressive apologies, including with Dr. Lane herself, there were very minimal attempts to make amends. As a patient, I was left feeling manipulated, belittled, helpless and taken advantage of.Please. Read the reviews and don’t ignore the trend. Don’t be the open and trusting person that I was.P.S. Whatever defense from the clinic that follows this review will likely lack truth and credibility, considering the record they have set for themselves.

My donation process was ok. I assumed that the people would be more attentive to their patients, but it was just as if I was a project that needed finishing, I still have not received payment. When reaching out to them about this, I didn’t receive a response until weeks later, saying there was a delay. Still have not received this payment.

DO NOT DONATE TO THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!! Took an extra 2 months to receive my payment AFTER i took it the legal route! Them they gave me HALF of what my compensation was supposed to be. They ignored my calls and hung up in my face on multiple accounts. This facility is NOT professional or trustworthy AT ALL!

Would give 0 if I could ! DO NOT COME HERE TO DONATE OR TO FIND A DONOR!! This place lacks professionalism and breaks contracts ! They really should be shut down because NOTHING is ran right ! The communication is terrible and they will be ALWAYS be like 3 months late on paying their donors and they do not perform the retrieval correctly! I felt used and abused with this company. Worst experience ever !!!(Had Vivian as my coordinator and she does not care or communicate and just lies through her teeth!

I have had many great experiences with Lane Fertility and Dr Lane. I first came to her years ago to freeze my eggs when I was 34. She was fantastic, extremely thorough, candid and very professional while being very friendly. A few years later she helped my brother create a family (they were able to have 2 kiddos with her help). Then recently I decided to become a mom and took those eggs out of the cold, dusted them off and made some embryos. I say this lightly but this has been a long long process and Dr Lane has been there every step of the way and holding my hand through the ups and downs. I can now happily say that my surrogate is pregnant with my little girl and I also hope to have my male embryo become a baby boy soon. I can without reservation recommend Lane Fertility as she is responsible for every grandkid my parents have!!!!!! I so appreciate and adore her as a professional and as a person. Kate

Do not donate here they don’t pay you, my best friend donated over 3 months ago and still hasn’t been given her money, before she donated she saw multiple videos on this company saying they never got paid either and they’re a scam but she talked to the lady who got her into the process and she reassured her she would be paid and yet here we are and she still has not gotten her money.

Dr. Lane and her wonderful team helped my husband and I complete our family through IVF. She and her staff are attentive and thorough and Dr. Lane guides her patients through the process with diligence and realistic goals. Throughout the process, I truly felt that Dr. lane worked on trouble shooting my treatment plan, taking routes other doctors hadnt considered. We have our beautiful younger as testament to Dr. Lanes insight and skill. IVF is a very emotional process and I was reassured that Dr. Lane wanted a positive outcome just as much as we did.

Somehow my review keeps getting taken down. DO NOT GO HERE! I am out now over 40k after I paid for a donor that who knows if she got paid...She did not make any embryos from my donors, she abondoned me as a patient and refused to continue care. I have no idea how she is able to take down all her reviews. She has an F rating on BBB. I guess I will have to continue to rewrite reviews as she continuously takes them down.

Dr. Lane is incredibly kind, knowledgable, and is an advocate. I have seen her on several occasions for monitoring appointments and she has been wonderful and has advocated for me in a tough situation which I will always be grateful for. I have chosen to see her over other providers because I feel very comfortable in the care of her and her staff.Thank you Dr. Lane.

I am so glad I stumbled upon Dr. Lane and her fertility clinic! Theyre truly a hidden gem. Dr. Lane is extremely bright (only doctor to have accurately established a proper protocol for our situation), which thankfully resulted in more eggs retrieved and healthy embryos. Dr. Lane is pleasant to chat with, kind and has excellent bed side manner. Her entire team is phenomenal, including her embryologists!! They were the only team that took time to focus on our situation and think outside the box and be open to what our concerns were. Her office is warm and located in the beautiful Marin (Novato) area.Additional perks include: no automated message every time you call, free abundant parking, beautiful quiet remote location. Thank you, Dr. Lane, for not losing your passion in helping your patients have the family they so desire. And a huge thanks to the entire amazing team! Dont hesitate to visit this clinic....trust me, Ive been to many others in the Bay Area. Lane Fertility is not to be overlooked.

Dr. Lane and her stuff are amazing! I have been to other fertility clinics in the past and nowhere compares to the compassionate care you receive at Lane Fertility Institute! After two years of TTC I am finally pregnant with my miracle baby because of Dr. Lane and her amazing team! You can truly tell that they really care about their patients and want you to get pregnant just as much as you do!

Dr. Lane changed my life! Our beautiful little girl speaks volumes to what her and her team are able to produce via IVF and surrogacy at Lane Fertility.It was a long journey! But once I let go of my ego, the process just seemed to streamline. As a woman I was dead set on giving birth myself, though my body said otherwise :(Therefore I had to surrender, forgive my body, and allow a surrogate to help.Our surrogate was a first timer and she got pregnant with the first embryo transfer! It required a lot of testing and financial obligation, but well worth the result. My surrogate said some of her friends tried to be surrogates but were not able to get pregnant after several tries. So whatever Dr. Lane and Lane Fertility is doing, works if you commit to the process.

The whole IVF journey was certainly long, costly and nerve-wracking. I started in Nov. 2019 and didnt hold my long-awaited precious baby until Dec 2021. I did not choose the right egg donor nor the right surrogate the first time. I went through three egg donors and two surrogates. Thus, I paid triple or quadruple the cost. Every step of the way, you were on pins and needles. Onward and forward -- I will never forget the encouraging and advisory email that I received on a weekend from Dr. Lane. My case was tragically unique. I called the IVF office in San Ramon. You cannot even get to talk to a real person. You fill out a lonh questionnaire. Then nothing happened. I will forever remember the warm, compassionate and supportive voice who answered my phone call. I think her name was Sherice. She set an appointment for me with Dr. Lane. When the three of us went to see Dr. Lane for the first time, I was so impressed by photo she printed out and filed in my folder she made. I was also impressed that she had the legal team, egg donor team, counselor all lined up.Finally, it was Dr. Lane who referred me to use the egg donor who produced good quality eggs a large number of eggs. I am so grateful that I have this beautiful woman who donated her eggs to my family. They are usually anonymous, but she introduced herself to me. My second surrogate was also introduced and picked by Dr. Lane. Without Dr. Lanes taking me in, her expertise,, her referring me to this wonderful and right egg donor and surrogate, I would not have realized my dream--a most beautiful and healthy baby boy.

My first review was deleted I donated eggs 3 month ago and still have not been compensated. I was scammed by this company and Carol in charge of the financial side is extremely insensitive and continue to tell me she doesnt know when I will be compensated. She is rude and doesnt care about their patients. I am currently seeking legal help. Its been 90 days since egg retrieval and I still have not been compensated.update:Its been for month and I still have not been compensated. I was lied to and told it was deposited and it wasnt then I was told it was lost in translation and it would be redistributed and yesterday was the day it was supposed to be redistributed and it hasnt been and now my calls and emails are being ignored.

I donated April 20th , my experience was great up until now. I was told I would get paid WITHIN 30 days after my post op. We are now in July (5th) and I still have not received anything. THATS 3 WHOLE MONTHS since I donated & my post op was 2 weeks later. Carol keeps telling me that she does not know when i will be paid, that she’s waiting for the “Green light” while Dr. Lane is busy posting TikTok’s. This is ridiculous. So many girls have messaged me on Instagram saying that they haven’t been paid as well and they’re lawyering up. I did not feel like I would have too but now I’m also looking into it. Please don’t come here they will cause you emotional stress and they steal from you..I WILL BE UPDATING IF THEY END UP PAYING MEJuly 15: still have not been paid & dr.lane blocked my TikTok account(she probably didn’t appreciate my review) lolJuly 27: was promised to be paid “yesterday but no later than today” but of course have not been paid still. Keep in mind contract says I suppose to be paid at my post op appointment.Update: I finally received my payment in august. After getting help from the fertility clinic that recommended me to them.

Dr. Lane is a wonderful fertility physician. It has been very clear in her interactions with me that she values education. She did not hesitate to spend the time with me to inform me on what was going on with my body, what I could expect to happen and she validated all of my concerns in such a way that it made it easy for me to relax and trust my body. Her level of understanding (both of human fertility and humanity), empathy and confidence make it easy to trust her and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anybody needing fertility services. I really appreciate Dr. Lane’s commitment to making fertility care accessible and equitable. It is so apparent that her heart is in this work and that heart-love permeates everything she does.

Dr. Lane and staff were wonderful throughout our entire infertility journey! Very informative, helpful, and supportive through every step of the process. We obviously wouldn’t have our beautiful babies without Dr. Lane’s expertise!

DO NOT DONATE HERE!!! They will not pay you ! I been waiting for months and still have yet to got paid ….

Dr. Lane is fantastic! She took the time to discuss our options and did it in a way we could understand clearly and take home (in a hand drawn diagram!) I could not be more confident in our choice to team with Dr. Lane in this journey. She is warm and kind, smart and fun and puts any worries and unknowns to ease. I’m looking forward to working with her further.

Do Not Donate Eggs Here!They can’t afford to pay for their donors but still want as many donors as they can get. They will push your payment for as long as they can. I’m currently waiting a few more days to see if they will pay me and then my attorney will move. It’s very unprofessional

They DO NOT PAY egg donors! Supposed to get paid within three months, multiple people I have talked to are going on 5, 6, 7 months without being paid, and don’t think they ever will be. Stop trying to recruit people for egg donation when you can’t even pay the people that have already donated.

Dr Lane should be in prison for what she’s doing to egg donors. Pay them their compensation instead of spending it on trips to Bali, you crook!

Update:I was told I was getting paid on the 22 and yet no emails have been responded since thenTheir escrow company haven’t email me to say they received anything tomorrow is Thursday the 21 no more emails I’m still getting the run aroundOf course when they finally emailed me back Thursday the 14 andTheir coordinator said I was slandering their name as well I’m getting paidAt point I knew I had to get the words aroundCause I wasn’t slandering their nameSince again I’m almost end of week it doesn’t seem like I’m getting paid for donated my eggs and my other out of pocket expensesI will start the necessary measuresUpdate :finally paid the donor but the medical bills im stuck with them and the ones that I paid they refuse to pay them back
