The front desk is well staffed and very nice. The PA named Melody was fantastic. She even called a couple of days later to check back on my child for an injury. The exam rooms are teeny tiny, so if you can avoid bringing extra people that’s my only recommendation. The waiting room was not busy that day which was great because we didn’t have to wait.

Dr. Curtis truly cares about patients and solutions. Lori is probably the kindest staff member I’ve ever dealt with. Front desk is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend coming here.

Lily, the front desk manager was very kind, professional and knowledgable. Shes absolutely amazing!Dr. Curtis went above and beyond providing me with exceptional care! He removed an embedded piece of glass in my foot. Dr. Curtis was quite thorough and made the process as pain-free as possible . Hes also very kind and treated me with the utmost concern. I highly recommend his Urgent Care practice over the other Urgent Care centers in Marin. He has a secondary location that will be opening in Montecito Plaza in San Rafael.If you want a phenomenal doc with excellent skills, please dont waste your time going anywhere else!

This is the third time I have visited urgent care in Novato, and the last time. Completely useless. I had a foreign object in my finger and still do. I was told to soak it in warm water.Last time I went in, I was having breathing problems and they told me that they don’t take care of that type of thing.

Both staff at front desk and Dr Curtis were 100% polite, helpful, and thorough. Available, clean, modern, easy to get to, good parking. Yes, I would definitely use their service again!

I made an appointment a day in advance, I stated all my symptoms when making the appointment. I arrived at my appointment and had a copayment of $100, paid before seeing the doctor. As soon as I saw the doctor she said there was nothing they could do and the staff shouldn’t have took my appointment. Apparently they don’t have any services like lab test, blood test, ect, that the doctor would recommend even though the website list a number of services. Didn’t even offer me a refund! Wasted $100!

Got blown by the reviews and regret going there. My child had splinter in his heel, it was swollen and he was in pain. The doctor saw him but didn bother to do anything, told to go home and wait and watch for infection. If that happens she will give medicine. Wow! We wasted the huge money for nothing and took that out ourselves at home. i would request, think twice before chosing them.

Dr Nikki Martin is a kind, patient, concerned, lovely and knowledgeable physician that will go the extra mile to make sure she helps you get well..I would rate her on a scale of 1-10 a 20. She’s the best. Thank you, Dr Martin!

Everything worked out really well. I was able to explain what was happening and the physician on hand listened well and gave us the peace of mind to realize that this situation was going to improve without the need for any medication or treatment. It’s a bit scary to be traveling while sick. We hear so many horror stories about the insurance situation in the states. Finding a place like this while traveling was a true godsend for us. We hope we never need to return but will not hesitate to do so should the need arise. Highly recommended!

I have been here three times now and both doctors I have seen (Patrica Connolly and male doctor - cannot remember his name!) and each of the administrators at the front desk are extremely helpful and friendly. A very special note is they really listen well to your whole problem before diagnosing. There is no ego, they are all compassionate and very knowledgeable!

They are understaffed on the front desk and with assistants. I had an appointment and still had to wait almost an hour to see a Dr. because of understaffing. There was one other patient being seen. The front desk person was very apologetic. The Dr was informative and very nice. I don’t know how to rate because the fault was not with the staff, but with the organization.

What a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly, Dr Conley was kind, not rushed, and caring. Like medicine used to be before the corporations took over. Highly recommend!

They actually made me feel bad when I came in. I was told that they are not walk in and I can read that on their website. Check the website yourself. It says nothing about no more walk ins. When I came in with a sore throat, malaise, and a headache, he (the nurse? at the front desk) actually told me to get out of the building that they can’t have me in there at all. I asked how I would know not to come into the building if I had a sore throat, and he answered that most people know that by now. ?? Also said there’s lots of signs on the door. There was a sign that said covid tests are done in vehicles. What if you are not there for a COVID test? I had an inclination I didn’t have COVID, I’d had a test the night before. He told me that I had to get a Covid test there, that theirs is the only one that actually works. I must wait in my car until I could be seen. So, I did. Underneath this review are ALL the signs he told me I missed. Mind you I went to the Urgent care with a sore throat, headache, and Malaise.There is a sign that says STOP: Do not enter if you have any of these symptoms- Fever, shortness of breath, cough, and vomiting. I must say being rude to someone that is there seeking help is quite counterintuitive.

I have been coming here for my CDL medical exams each year and have had nothing but super good service and experience from the doctor (Paula Connolly M.D.) and the staff.Wishing you all a healthy life but when needed come here with confidence that you will be in good and professional hands ❤️

I was a walk-in and was basically processed immediately for a workers comp issue. I love the office staff and the doctor was very thorough in both exam and explanation. They gave me paperwork and explained it clearly. Unfortunately I needed copies of the paperwork the next day and they were happy to give it to me without hassle.Due to a workers comp issue Im sure Ill be seeing them more and happy to do so.

Worlds worst receptionists on the planet. Clueless and brain dead are great examples of the two of them. Un-frickin-real.

Upon arrival, their doors are closed 30 minutes after opening, I almost left due to being in a high level of pain. I didn’t leave and I wish I did.I am the 2nd person in the door that morning, and the 6th person to be served. It takes every other patient 3 minutes to get their insurance cards back, but it took the front office staff 30 minutes for mine to be returned. Walk-ins who came in after me were serviced prior to me., and I was told multiple times that I would be brought back shortly. My entire visit was nearly two hours.When I am finally brought into the exam room, I explain my afflictions with the nurse/aide, and mention that I sprained a muscle in my neck. My nurse asks me for the source of my pain and I mention this originally happened due to work, which was already handled through my insurance and primary care physician. My nurse tries to kick me out of the exam room, citing that this is a workers’ comp issue, as the root cause was from work. I explained to the aide once more that I had reinjured myself off of company time, therefore this is of personal interest. The nurse grabbed the originals office worker who tried to kick me out as well. I know my patient rights and I had a long argument with him, until he finally conceded and mentioned he would talk to the provider.The first aide comes back and she mentions that due to this information, I will be seen by their provider. Great, I think!In comes Michael the provider with an attitude. He asks me what’s wrong, and I go over the information I had already discussed with the nurses, that my PCP had diagnosed me with a neck sprain in the middle on November, it had healed and I reinjured it last night. Michael first asks “why didn’t you see your PCP? Why did you come here?” And then I state that “it is impossible to see a PCP same day” He asked how UC could help me, instead of giving me options. I had specifically stated I was looking for pain management and conservative care recommendations and a note for work. In a stern monotone prose, Michael responds, “We. Do. Not. Write. Pain. Medication. Prescriptions.”. I found myself nearly in tears, that I was immidiately being profiled as a pain medication abuser. I mentioned to Michael, in a stern voice myself, “Thats not why I am here”. Michael also mentioned that “I can not write a note to take you out of work, that is a workman’s comp issue, but I can send you back with a note that you came here”. I agreed as that is what I was looking for initially. There was doubt that I still had a medical issue and I proceeded to get a half measure exam, where I was told to do an action with my neck, and since it is sprained I was not able to do one portion and Michael looked at me like I was crazy.Finally Michael himself seemed to concede that yes I have a cervical sprain (already confirmed by my pcp) and he prescribes me a muscle relaxant. He comes back into the room with all of my pertinent information and he forgets to write my Drs note… which he wrote ever so begrudgingly after I mentioned this.I have never experienced such a lack of compassionate care and bedside manner. I left this facility in tears, knowing I won’t ever be coming back. I will be proceeding to file complaints with the appropriate government agencies due to the predisposition to not serve patients, and the discrimination I was faced with front-hand. After reading all the other reviews, it seems this facility is wonderful on a good day, and my experience is not unique on their bad days. Rating 2 stars as everyone did manage to assist me in the end, it was just too much of an uphill battle to advocate for my care.

They are so awesome! Super nice, knowledgeable and friendly doctor and staff. Recommend them highly and will definitely be back again if needed. Easy to find down the street from Trader Joes.

Very professional staff and great medical care. I really needed to see someone and my dr was booked through all of august. I received great care and would highly recommend Medical Center of Marin for any urgent situations or even routine procedures.

I was able to book my appointment quickly and easily. I was seen and out the door within 45 minutes. My prescription was sent quickly to my pharmacy. The nurse practioner was kind and helpful and answered my questions. It was too cold in the office though, wore my coat, scarf and gloves!

My experience with my doctor (Dr.Paula Conolly) was amazing and she was so helpful, knowledgeable, and professional with everything. Additionally , they had no wait times and the facility felt so clean, friendly, and pretty :)

The doctor who treated me was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to prescribe me after looking at me. However, if you want to make an appointment here, you HAVE to call and you HAVE to fill out your paperwork online. Always see a doctor if you have any bodily concerns!

Was very easy to make my appointment, made it online took about 5 minutes. Front desk person was very nice, so was the Doctor’s assistant, would highly recommend going here.

My experience was fast and easy. The nurse came to our car and swabed each nostril and let me know i would receive a call with the results in 20 minutes. The doctor called to give me my results and gave me advise on eating healthy, rest and drink lots of liquids.i felt very safe and very satisfied. Thank you for your great service to our community.

My mom needed help for her UTI, and they got us in right away (a same-day appointment). The doctor, Dr. Paula Conolly, MD, couldnt have been nicer or more compassionate. Not all doctors know how to handle someone with dementia. She was outstanding! We had a great experience today. Highly recommend them. Wish all medical centers were run as well as this one. After my Doctors office wouldn’t see me because I had a cough (isn’t that what they’re suppose to do) Covid negative. I ended up coming to this place and honestly I like them better than my own Dr.! Very professional, clean, loved my Dr. and the front desk were on top of it. Thank you for seeing me with short notice and treating me for influenza. I would not hesitate coming here again!

Everyone in the office was professional and nice but I spend almost 2 hours there total for a pre-employment physical, and that seemed a little excessive.

The staffs are very courteous and polite. They are doing their jobs very well and the female doctor is very kind and caring and reassuring. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

Upon arrival for my 11:00a appointment, I was greeted by a seemingly disgruntled staff member/nurse, which is fair, considering the difficulty associated with the profession.I was then led to the exam room and proceeded to wait for 20 minutes before the staff member returned to take my vitals (blood pressure, pulse ox, etc..), which they proceeded to write down on a post-it note. She then left without providing an update on how much longer the wait should be.40 minutes of waiting later, the nurse returned to say youre going to have to wait longer, the doctor is with a difficult patient. I proceeded to leave without seeing the doctor.I understand that Urgent Care centers need to prioritize patients based on severity of issues, however, I would have appreciated more effective communication from the staff.

Just visited the center for the first time today for a minor sore throat that won’t go away. The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly!! I was sent in very quickly.Unfortunately, the other patient waiting in the lobby mistakenly came an hour early for her appointment. She was incredibly pushy, demeaning and rude to the staff. She insisted that she be seen ahead of everyone else. I was thoroughly appalled by her behavior. She had the wrong insurance card and was not in the system because she last visited with a workers comp claim. That’s not the staff’s fault, that’s yours. And, just because you screwed up on the time, everyone else should not be inconvenienced. If it was an emergency, you should have gone to the ER. Please...The staff member was in tears when she took me to the room and indicated that this is how she is treated regularly by people in Marin. She has already given her notice. Come on, people. Have some sympathy for others. They do not deserve to be harassed because you made a mistake or two.

I liked coming here to the urgent care in Novato, because I waited less than emergency rooms. I feel emergency rooms have become a no mans land. I wish no one would ever get sick. Scheduled an appointment online and was seen the next day. Arrived and seen right on time. The staff was welcoming and very pleasant.Nurse Practicioner Nancy was very thorough and reassuring regarding my health concerns. I highly recommend this Urgent Care Facility.

Very very clean and well run during COVID. I had an appointment I’d booked online and arrived on time and was met at the door and seen almost immediately. Tech and doctor were both great. I would definitely go back, even though it’s not the closest urgent care office to me.

The male nurse at the front desk was very professional, listened, asked & answered questions about my reason for being there. He is the reason I gave this a 2 star instead of 1 star review.An assistant came to swab my throat for a strep throat. When she swabbed the inner sides of both cheeks I questioned why she didnt swab my throat. She said this was ok.I asked the male nurse about it and he did a 2nd test swabbing the back of my throat.After a greeting the doctor I saw immediately told me you know that masks are completely useless. You do know that right?? She then went on to explain her thoughts on the issue even though that clearly wasnt the reason for my visit. She herself wore a cloth mask. This attitude completely got my visit off on the wrong foot.The following day I went to another urgent care and had a completely different experience. I also received a printout with the findings & suggested ways to treat my symptoms. Much more professional, thorough and complete exam.

I have been here 3 times in the past year and each time I have had the same consistent positive experience. The wait times arent bad, the nurses and doctors really care and the atmosphere is really nice. If you have to go to Urgent Care, this is a good one!

Be sure not to give them the credit card ahead of time! They put me in an overheated room for 45 minutes. Charged $100 for a Covid test. I had already confirmed that I had a negative test I had a minor cough but NO other symptoms 😡😡😡. If I had know they would charge $100 for a home like Covid test I would have walked out immediately. This is cheating and very unprofessional.

I phoned to get a Covid-19 test and was very pleased with the service rendered. I was able to upload the necessary health insurance information which made the appointment for the test a breeze. I spoke by phone at first with an apparent nurse who , over the phone, clarified my health history. After that a physician called to get the details of my concern. I drove to the center, a nurse came to my car fully masked , shielded and gowned and proceeded to do the nasal swab. I drove back home and within 15 minutes was phoned by a caring physician with my negative results and advice for my symptoms. Ive worked as a Dental Hygienist for 40 years so can really appreciate a well run medical office.Vicki McElroy

Unfortunately, my review of Medical Center of Marin is less than stellar. Im not sure why my experience ended up so radically different than other reviewers. It seems the doctor I saw had made her mind up about me before I even met her. I came in 10/25 with some breathing issues that had been lingering for about 5 days. The doctor (blonde, around my age I think? Im 28 for the record) I saw felt it was anxiety rather than asthma or anything else and I told her that I dont tend to have generalized anxiety. I always know whats upsetting me & Im not currently stressed. She replied to this with Welcome to adulthood and a few moments later, You know, you arent the only one with anxiety. It was honestly bizarre. I wasnt being dramatic, I didnt say anything except answer the questions I was asked. Despite this treatment I was polite the entire time. When my visit was ending (and she seemed to be making an effort to be kinder for the most part) I mentioned I dont yet have a primary care doctor and she, again, said Welcome to adulthood. I let her know the reason I dont is because I am divorced and just got my new insurance. It was cruel and embarrassing and I dont understand what was so wrong with me that I deserved to be berated as much as I was. Im still taken aback and although the rest of the staff seemed kind, I wont be returning ever again. Id rather drive to Terra Linda if I need urgent care. By the way, it was an asthma issue. I was given a breathing treatment which really helped and a prescription for an inhaler, and Ive been feeling much better since.

The staff are extremely professional and friendly. I booked this appointment online last minute coming from out of town for a covid rapid test today which takes 10 mins for your results by nose swab. The nurse and receptionist explained things very clearly and easy to understand. They came to see me out side as I was on the phone checking in as per the sign on the door request. Very fast, friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for seeing me so quickly. I booked the apt on Solv.appt. I wasn’t sure if it was legit but it was. Web-sight was very easy to use, I checked in uploaded my documents ID,Insurence,Form of payment.

Proper COVID19 safety protocol. Nurses/Medical Techs kind and courteous. Made apt in advance so short wait time. Doctor was friendly, courteous, and helpful with the issue(s) that motivated me to go to urgent care on weekend. Also, they took my insurance so only paid Co-pay.

Found a doctor here through the blue shield app to help diagnosis my pain and discomfort for my right knee. They were able to confirm that my knee was injured and gave me a knee brace to heal. They suggested that it could of been strained or tear, but I wont know until I use the brace for a few days to let it heal. They also x-ray my knee and gave me a copy if my knee didnt heal and needed to see a orthopedic to get a better diagnosis from a specialist. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.would recommend to friends and family for urgent care.

Got to the center a couple of minutes after 4 for a pre-employment drig screening. I sat for over 30 minutes only to be told that they dont do screenings after 4. This should have been told to me as soon as I got there or advertised on their site/front door.

Made an appointment and waited about 15 minutes. Quick and easy experience and had my issue resolved with thethe pro prescriptions . The officeois very clean and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommend for urgent care visit.

Scheduled an appointment the same day. Good COVID-19 protocols. I was very pleased with the doctor and medical assistants. They also do COVID-19 testing if you need it.

I suspected I had strep throat. I went online at 9 am, made an appointment for 10:30, was tested and diagnosed by 11:05. Good place for routine problems when you can’t get to a doctor. Staff was accommodating and efficient.

Giving one star cause I was sent there by Sutter walk in because I needed to get an x ray of my foot. Despite that place and info online here, I was told they dont do x rays there as the techs moved to Corte Madera?My only other option in town is apparently ER. I cant afford that so guess Im limping around and hoping for the best.

It’s rare for me to leave a negative review but this place is beyond ridiculous. I’ve now been to this location three times. First appointment was only a 45 minute wait. The second appointment was an hour and 45 minute wait. The third appointment they flat out canceled my appointment and said they were too busy after waiting 45 minutes.

The workers there treat them very badly, they are very racist towards Latin people, they laugh at people and they dont want to help them with what they need.
