Dr. Jeris Cox, MD

I feel it to be very important to leave a review, especially on such an important decision, and for Dr. Cox to be coming in to this practice location at a recent time. Being in healthcare myself for almost a decade, I have seen wonderful care, and less than standard. From the start, when I contacted her office, the receptionist was kind and listened to all questions and helped me to plan accordingly. She gave me almost 20 minutes of her time just to get me scheduled and work around mine and my husbands schedule. When we got the our appointment, every face I encountered was friendly and gentle. It was a great feeling, especially when you dont know what to expect. Meeting with Dr. Cox was the most informative meeting I had encountered throughout mine and my husbands struggle with infertility. After a recent surgery, multiple MD visits and searching online for multiple hours to questions I did not understand; Dr. Cox sat down and listened to me for over an hour, was compassionate and personal, and had her RN beside her taking notes, preparing documents and being the kind spirit in the room that a nurse should be. We left there feeling heard, feeling like people and not just a number on the books. I left there with answers and reassurance and more information than questions. No matter the outcome, I believe this doctor holds the highest intellect, cares for her patients in a sincere manner, and will do wonderful things for the low country.
