NextCare Urgent Care Mesa

This was my second time using NextCare and it was easy to make an appointment.I wish that it was clear that this office did not have radiology (x-ray) available so I didnt waste my time.The wait was still 25 mins with an appointment. The front desk clerk was not very helpful and was distracted on her phone. The PA was nice and listened but didnt seem very confident in what to do.Additionally the building was not clean. I took pictures of what was supposed to be an air purifier and the amount of dust on the walls and buildup on the ceiling and vents was gross.

I LOVE this urgent care that is close to my residence. Jessica was a very understanding, simple, and very effective PA. I highly recommend using the video visit method if you can’t make it in person. She got to work immediately and explained to me proper follow-up care with my concern and also addressed my primary concern. I have never had an easier or more simple experience, and I am so very grateful for my experience today! I will definitely be using this method in the future and only coming to this urgent care for any future medical concerns.Antibiotics were sent right after my appointments to my pharmacy and are in hand now. This urgent care and the team that works here rocks! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, my favorite urgent care ever.

This place loves to waste your time. It seems like they need to work on their own team’s communication. Maybe the provider should have just called out for the day.They don’t even know when they will have providers in to take care of their patients. They will gladly bring you back, take your vitals, change the time of when the provider will be in and then tell you it’s not their job to provide any services. What an insult and a slap in the face to their patients. I would be careful trusting your health in their hands. Seems like they don’t care about their patients or future patient’s at all.

I was pleasantly surprised by the great service I got at next Care urgent care on McKellips in Mesa near the sonic drive-through. I had been feeling bad for several days and could not get into my own doctor, so I thought I would try this place. It was the best thing I ever did. Luckily I got Aaron as my provider who is very knowledgeable And caring and personable at the same time . I was in and out of there in 25 minutes. Going to pick up my three prescriptions and on the way to feeling better. I liked it way more than my doctors office. The receptionist was very kind also, and I was not nervous at all. Try this place if you need help.

They got me in efficiently with a good online process from my drop-in visit. The PA/NP who saw me was helpful, with a good bedside manner, and he even recognized me from having gone there for the first time about 2.5 months ago. All around, the right combination of professional and friendly!

I went in and they got to me pretty fast and they diagnosed me as well but they basically shoved me out the door and told me they were sending over the prescription information to my pharmacy, which never arrived. then I had to go all the way back in because calling them was not going through, to wait half an hour for them to finally give me the script to take in myself to the pharmacy. make sure to ask for a script before you leave because the fact that they hadnt given me an actual script the first time I came in was the main problem.

This is my first time using NextCare Urgent Care Mesa. Upon entering the facility I was greeted by the receptionist who has a great smile. The facility was clean and tidy. The entire staff was C.C.R. :caring, compassionate and respectful to me throughout the entire visit. My appointment was on time and the exam thorough. My PA Shanno B. stuck around to answer any questions I might have concerning post treatment. If you are in a pinch for time and not able to see your PC doctor may I take this opportunity and recommend NextCare Mesa. They deserved the rating I gave them hands down.

This location opened right on time, we didn’t wait long and the doctor we saw was thorough and straight forward. We were in and out in around 30 mins. The front desk staff was great and the experience was wonderful as they quickly diagnosed and prescribed treatment for my son.

They didn’t make me wear a mask today. Didn’t even bring it up. It makes me happy. There’s hope for this world.3-stars is the highest I can give for these guys because twice they have refused to see me or treat me because I wouldn’t wear a mask. (Never again, my brothers and sisters, never again.) One of those times I wasn’t even there for an illness—it was a sports injury. Requiring a mask to look at my shoulder is crazy!Anyway, the line was really quick today. I was in the waiting room for only a couple of minutes. I was seen quickly and I was out of there in like 15 minutes. Thank you.Let’s hope next time goes as smoothly. Stop with this masking nonsense, especially when someone isn’t symptomatic.P.S. if the weight is so dang long, and they have my phone number, and I’m already logged into the app, why can’t they just let me leave and text me with 10 or 15 minutes before I need to be back? Why am I waiting in a waiting room that’s pretty gross, with sickly people, no offense, for so long???

Just a warning, please check directly with your insurance provider about your urgent care co-pays, my insurance clearly states on the card $60, but these guys tried telling me it was $100, and say their system shows this, so I called my insurance provider who also verified it is only $60 and should not be more. These guys system is not verifying accurate information. Always go to the source and not accept what the urgent cares check in desk tells you.

I had a very good experience at this clinic. There was little wait time even though I was only there for a minor tattoo infection. They actually assessed my problem in clinic and provided reasonable treatment rather than just telling me to go to the ER like other Urgent Cares I have been to. They were able to give me intramuscular antibiotics onsite when I explained that my infection had been worsen despite oral antibiotic use, again rather than telling me to go to the ER for any treatment I couldn’t render to myself at home anyway. They also outlined a comprehensive treatment plan to hopefully keep everything on track should secondary problems arise.

Arrived about 30 mins before close, and was still attended by the friendly and professionalism of the employees. Young lady at the front desk always had a smile and very friendly, they have you in and out quickly with a Diagnosis and how to fix it.Dr. Lucas was able to tell me right away what was wrong, and referred me to the specialist I needed. Thank you so much to all of you for your help, and kindness.If you need help ASAP I highly recommend this location.

I had a great experience here. I had been sick with a throat virus and after a few days I suddenly started vomiting and couldnt stop. I arrived crying and throwing up. I was a mess!!! I was in a room within 5 mins and give Zofran to help. They did misdiagnose me but it wasnt their fault. I was convinced I had strep and the nausea was from it getting worse. They helped me feel a lot better but unfortunately I got worse later that night. Turned out I had food poisoning from some fast food icecream I had gotten to help sooth my throat. So ya, they missed the food poisoning but I really dont blame them. Plus Im pretty sure they asked if Id eaten anything and I think I said no since I dont really count soft serve as food. Still- the doctor was so kind and the staff really helped me feel better. Im so embarrassed by how ugly crying I was while throwing up but they were really amazing.

The staff here could not have taken better care of me when I was at my worst. I cannot thank them enough for everything today. Even as I sit at the er in all my pitty I do not know how I could thank them enough. I highly recommend this office and although I know the staff changes as they cycle through offices I think this one is a good one!

The receptionist was cold and seemed to be annoyed with me because I was sick. The nurse and doctor were fabulous. Very nice and friendly and seemed to sincerely care. I was a little confused why I had to wait behind the walking when I scheduled online.

Woke up in the middle of the night with pain in my foot. Went online and was able to schedule an appointment first thing in the morning. When I checked in I was taken to a room immediately. Staff was very friendly and calming and the doctor addressed my concerns quickly and thoroughly. The care I received was top notch. I highly recommend this provider.

Bigger lady was very passive aggressive… and was trying to down play what I had going on. If you don’t like your job it’s not our fault.. I had stomach issues going on for awhile ( not going to dive into it ) but she was trying to make me feel like a baby. Regardless she referred me to this gastroenterologist, keep in mind after she did this after she assumed “ you’re a college kid right “, ( keep that ready because it gets weird ) well if you look at this reviews of this gastroenterology place they’ve been scamming a bunch of college kids for insurance. Setting up endoscopy or whatever and it being out of network and charging these kids 2000+ dollars when they were told the procedures are in network. Also the gastroenterologist herself asked “ you’re just a college kid right “ hmmmm isn’t that weird. Idk what’s going on but tried cancelling my appointment this morning. They don’t answer my calls. I’ll have to go in person to do that. Hopefully they don’t give me any issues

The doctor was good and diagnosis was quick. The prescription was called in as soon as could be expected. The only problem arose when trying to contact NextCare to let them know where to send the prescription. The phone number listed on the website stated that the office was closed. I had to drive down to the office again ( which was not closed) to communicate with them. They should have a working phone that is monitored and has accurate information during office hours.

Personable and friendly front office staff. Professional and competent medical assistant. Nurse practitioner had wonderful bedside manner. Easy online scheduling and brief waiting time. Highly recommend.

The staff Sunday was absolutely the worst, especially the nurses. They were full of attitude, hate and had zero bedside manner. On top of that the wait was horrible due to some procedure, so they rushed the next patients pushing over all the reasons I was there. Instead of wanting to do work saying they couldnt perform tests that they has just done a month earlier(but of course that was with a different staff and a wayyyy better one). They didnt want to do it, so they said they couldnt do it. Just like anywhere else thesedays.

DO NOT GO HERE! I was in severe pain to the point my wife had to nearly carry me around. They immediately thought I was a druggy and made me take a piss test before the doctor would even see me. If they had done it properly, they would have known that they couldn’t help me and sent me to the ER like they did anyway once the doctor saw me 25 minutes after being brought to the room.. instead these imbeciles did nothing for me and still charged me over $100 dollars… the staff are wretched and will bark at you to sit down and wait while they sit on their phones… AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Easy scheduling, friendly reception and excellent provider. Very little wait. Lucas Gruwell listened closely, gave great answers to my questions and called in prescriptions immediately. Would recommend.

Anytime Ive used this urgent care I get excellent care and everyone is so helpful and professional. I keep coming back because with service like that why go anywhere else and its down the street from my home. Easy to make online appt and check in. 5 stars for 5 star service

Worse service when you really need them. I took my daughter for pink eye, and the farmacy didn’t have that medicine they prescribed so I called them back and they said they were going to send a new prescription that took forever and after contacting the farmacy and they telling me the doctor didn’t send them anything so i had to call back the urgent care many many times and never pick up the phone until called them from another number thats how i was able to beg them to send another prescription becas my daughter was in so much pain but they only care about the money so i wont recommend this place at all.

Quick on-line scheduling, promptly taken to the back and seen almost immediately. Staff was great! If I need Urgent Care in the future, this will be my first stop!

Your check in is rediculous. The questions are redundes . A patient is ill and just want to be seen. Much easier with paper check in. The receptionist not friendly at all. Like she was bothered. The physician was awesome that’s the reason why I gave you a 5 star.

I was seen the night before for a UTI the antibiotics that I was given caused a allergic reaction. I made a appointment at 120 and Im still waiting for the doctor to come in the toom and its now 300. I just needed another antibiotic. Im in extreme pain and my health issues have not been addressed

Have previously been nursing this stubborn coughing for several weeks and was aggravating my quality of life. So I had to consult. Am on my way to recovery. Thanks to your clinic a and its patient friendly staff.

Called to check and see if the testing I needed could be done at their office. They said yes but need an appointment ok made an appointment for same day 11:20AM got there at 11. We didn’t not get checked in and into a room until about 1:00pm dr never came to the room. When I go out there and ask they said they are checking with other offices who can provide the type of test I need because they don’t ( mind you! It’s all for a school physical) whether the information was incorrectly given to me or not whatever it is that went wrong I waste 2 of my day in their office and didn’t get anything done.

I chose the UrgentCare in north Mesa on McKellips. The check in process was so easy. There was hardly any wait time and the entire staff are very professional and so kind.

I don’t know how this place is legally allowed to operate. I went to this location a couple months ago extremely sick because I had a 104 fever, a cough, and trouble breathing. I made an appointment but that didn’t matter because I ended up waiting two hours to be seen anyway.The nurse who saw me was very kind and showed concern for the state of my health and said she would get the doctor to see me soon. I then had to wait nearly another hour before the doctor came in. She barely listened to me when I explained my symptoms and told me I tested negative for both Covid and the flu, but she said it was probably just a false negative on the flu and that I would be fine taking over the counter meds and I should be fine in about a week. She kept recommending things that would “help my sore throat” and I had to keep repeating that I don’t have a sore throat, I have a cough and I can’t breathe.When I was checking out I was handed a box with a nebulizer in it with absolutely no mention of what it is or what it does. I had to Google it when I got home to try and figure it out because it doesn’t come with instructions and the doctor said nothing about it, didn’t even mention a nebulizer as something I might need. Then when I got home I realized I was given the paperwork for a different patient who has my same name.After waiting a few days and trying the nebulizer (which did literally nothing to help) and my condition kept getting worse I sought out a REAL doctor who was able to immediately identity that I had pneumonia and get me a script for antibiotics and an inhaler which fixed me up frustratingly quickly. Oh and that useless nebulizer that they just threw at me on my way out with no information whatsoever? I just got the bill for $250 for that, so that’s great. This place goes beyond incompetence, they’re downright negligent.

Everyone was very kind and patient. The doctor was great! So funny with the kids! We felt very comfortable!

Staff was extremely nice but I made an appointment at 12:30pm and did not get seen until 2:30pm and after that the doctor didn’t know what the diagnosis is. Waste of time.

The front office person was friendly, my appointment was on time, and the NP was well informed of my problems & previous history. We were in and out in one hour. Excellent experience!

I scheduled an appointment for 10 am. They dont advertise that this facility does not have xray. You find that out once you get there. The girl at the desk told me that I would have to go the the facility at power rd in mesa. I got there checked in at 1034. Now they tell me after sitting here for over an hour and a half that there are still 5 people ahead of me. Also the girl at tge power rd facility told me that the other office should have seen me and the just sent me here for the xray and I wouldnt have had to wait for all of theses other people who didnt even have appointments. Very very frustrating 😕

I go in cuz i cant hear out of my right ear and I have discomfort and they just look in the ear and said she cant see anything and thats it.All the ladies were friendly, Just sucks that I had to pay 75dlls for no reason.

Ridiculously expensive unless I agreed to a monthly membership fee. This is supposed to be an URGENT CARE, and I was suffering from a sudden hip and knee pain. I had just moved from 2500 miles away and didnt yet have insurance or a pcp. The doctor was great, but the practice, and the expense was, was very disappointing. Just go to the ER instead

The doctor wasnt interested in a thorough examination, so he rushed through the exam. He didnt take any tests to support his conclusion. My symptoms are getting worse. A waste of my time! Unfortunately, our medical system is such a sham.

The lady at the front desk informed me that I must pay before leaving and that it would be $80 $130. After seeing the doctor and finding no solution or any real answers to what was wrong with me, the front desk lady told me the total is $204. I was surprised and reminded her of what she said the price would be. She immediately got defensive and said no, what I said was, $80 to $130 and up from there. Well, that doesnt make sense. It just surprised me and made me feel like that place is a scam. The doctor was nice but I feel like she did very little for $230. The front desk lady would have been better off telling me nothing about the cost until it was time to pay. She had me expecting to pay the minimum or close to $80 according to the quick, minimal service I received. And her immediate, defensive attitude was offensive. I will not, nor will my family be going there again.

Prescription was never called in , tried calling clinic for 4 hours and no one answered. No voice mail available, wrong pharmacy called in once I had to call back the day after. Horrible experience, will never use again

From walking in everything was pleasant. The receptionist was super helpful. I was in and out quickly. Thank Dr.! Oh dont let me forget the Assistant who took my vitals, he was awesome too! I Highly recommend this Urgent Care!

Doctor Lucas Gruwell does not listen to his patients. We asked for a specific allergy medicine and instead he gave us something completely different that didnt do anything, and possibly made their symptoms WORSE. We were not offered anything to remedy the situation, wasted money and time.

Caring staff and doctor who listens intently to assure best options are done for treatment. Clean and modern establishment. Would 100% recommend NextCare !

**update Aaron is gone and now I don’t want to go here anymore. They won’t tell me where he went. I am so sad!**Aaron is awesome and will always take great care of you and your kids! I have known him for many many years! He is very very smart and knowledgeable and he is kind and compassionate and thorough. He will never make you feel like you’re just a number. I have been going here for probably 10 years. Mostly for my kids but a few times for me as well. I dont go to any other urgent care! This is the one I trust as long as Aaron is there! I also love the online check in feature so you don’t have to sit and wait in the lobby for hours. There is a new nurse now as well named Lucas that i just met and he is also awesome, kind and considerate and takes his time and he will take good care of you and your kiddos!

Very professional staff. The PA was very nice and I got diagnosed in just a few minutes. My appt was for 1pm but didnt get called in till 1:50. There were about 4 or 5 before me so I figured whatever I had was going around so I understood. I will recommend this location to my friends and family. Thank you

The NP Aaron was very kind and knowledgeable. The center had no xray (despite what the web site says) so he had to send us to a nearby xray but he called us after business hours to give us the results. He took very good care of my daughter. I would recommend him to anyone.

From the front desk to Dr Lucas Gruwell, they took great care of me! No wait time as I had scheduled ahead. They got me in no wait time and Dr was thorough and caring! Then I had to call back and spoke with Allie who made sure my needs for another medication was taken care of too!! 5 star ⭐️ attention and caring clinic!!!

I was able to book an appointment that day. I only had a 10 minute wait time in the lobby before being seen. Fastest Urgent Care experience Ive ever had.Update: I did my billing through insurance. They keep sending me a bill for this appointment. My insurance already covered it. This seems scammy.

Everyone was pleasant, helpful and efficient. Mission accomplished in a timely manner.One thing I would love to see with all these text reminder companies is that they put the address of your appointment location on the text reminder.I imagine it’s not offered through the reminder company but it’s technology that they can figure out and much needed so I’d put in requests for that as a customer. It’s a helpful reference, even if just a single location business but especially when there are multiple locations. Minimizing confusion keep your schedule on track.

I made an appointment on-line before they opened and checked in online outside their entryway with their provided qr code with my smartphone. If you dont have a smartphone I believe you can inquire about your visit at the front desk. I went in for laryngitis and the FNP sent scripts to the cvs around the way and I am pleased. I couldnt speak but I brought a notepad to scribble my symptoms and did it well enough the FNP prescribed steroids which I have taken once long ago for bronchitis but I know they work. Thank you Nextcare for next level care

Went in to one location, told there was no xray on sight. No obvious sign to inform me and front desk staff didn’t alert me. I was sent to another location and when I arrived there, the staff had no clue who I was or that I was coming for an xray. My X-rays were sent off around 4:30pm yesterday and it has been almost 16 hours later and I STILL don’t know if my thumb is broken or not and I suffered a sleepless night due to the pain. Run away from this horribly run and unorganized clinic.

My daughter and I have never been treated as if he,Dr. Seaman were our own family members,his staff ⚕️ are the Best,they are the front line our own family of Heroes.Great, prompt and professionals are waiting to hear from you. Thank you Next Care and staffing and Our own family DR. Seaman Our time was in and out just like that.

I love this place the Doctors know s his stuff. I was in pain thought it was my kidneys and showed him where it hurt and he said it was my muscles which were right next to my kidneys . He told me my kidneys were great. And told me in I could rest the rest of the weekend , my muscles wouldnt bother again for another 6 months. Gave me a copy of the results of my urine test. I was in and out of there in no time like always!

I wash able to book my appointment online and complete my paperwork online before arriving. I got right in and the doctor providing me with very detailed knowledge. I was in and out. Very thankful.

I usually don’t share reviews but I really appreciated this place! I did an online appointment and they took us in right on time. Everyone was very friendly. I usually hate urgent cares but Dr Lucas was great very caring explained everything and made my son and I feel very comfortable being there! Definitely would recommend this place 100%.

The medical assistant to the dr were very efficient and friendly. They were professional and addressed the situation and really made me feel like they were there to help and have me feeling better. Thanks to both of you!!

Overall service has been great for me and our family. The receptionist is in training, most of us have been there at one time or another...my wait time for my appointment was bit longer than Id wish, but earlier patients may have needed extra time. Im inclined to value the care received rather than any small inconveniences.

Christmas Day-- absolute worst day of the year to need care. Easily made an online appointment, got in within reasonable time frame, and was so grateful these people are willing to work on such a holiday and leave their own families and friends to take care of mine. It is difficult for me to understand how this establishment has received such positive reviews. I am beginning to suspect that the comments were made by staff members. People are treated horribly at this facility. My partner was in tears, unable to hold anything in, and although she had an upcoming appointment with her primary care physician, she wished to see if she could have answers sooner. After paying a copay of $50, the doctor spent less than two minutes in the room. He did not even approach her, feel her stomach, NOTHING, it was more like a two minute conversation. His voiced and demeanor showed he didn’t care. She was able to see her results came back through her portal and was awaiting a callback from the doctor. The call came from someone else, the NA, who did not inquire as to whether she was experiencing the same problems, if she gotten better, or whether she had been to the emergency room. When I called to express the treatment that she received the front desk lady Melissa, who said Sorry for the service you FEEL like you received when I explained that people come there in search of answers because they are in pain, she responded, I already said I’m sorry, what else do you want from me? Melissa may be right, but she should understand that she had the opportunity to show empathy, but instead thought I should accept a half apology with little or no true meaning behind it. This is the kind of place we are dealing with. Why should nurses or front desk staff care if doctors do not? As a result, they follow the chain of command. Everyone is just getting paid, with no heart behind it.

Dr on site was absolutely amazing, medical assistant who took my vitals wonderful!! The girl and guy working as front desk staff were pathetic! First told me it would be AT LEAST 1 and half hours till I’d be seen when I’d booked online for an appointment… Then canceled my appt because “they put my number down incorrectly!”, gave no apology and acted extremely rude when I told them they had the incorrect number down for me. I work for a doctor, so I know how staff should maintain the front check, they are the first face patients see when they come in (with a huge sign over them that says a smile works in any language). I feel bad the dr in office has to deal with that kind of drama at the front. Unfortunately I will not go back due to the nonsense from the front. Thank you to everyone else who was beyond kind and helpful.

Thanks to the staff and provider at Nextcare Urgent Care. I was treated very kindly and professionally. Im generally reluctant to see any doctor but when i cut my thumb pretty bad I figured that I better have it looked at. All is well now and the price was reasonable. I recommend this location!

I have used this urgent care many time over the past 10 years and have never been disappointed. This evening I had to take my 5 yr old son and Lucas Gruwell was his provider. Top notch bedside manner. Was seen quickly yet never felt rushed because everything was explained so good and questions were welcomed with thorough answers. Thank you so much Lucas

Very fast and friendly service! They dont call in rxs (they fax only) so if your pharmacy is a little slow to respond to their fax system (mine is), Id recommend asking for a written script.

Omg! I came here because my kiddo needed to get checked out. Originally went to a different urgent care where they were rude to me beginning from when I walked in the door. Googled another urgent care and they popped up and definitely turned my day around. Everyone was so polite from front desk staff to nurse and doctor Aaron. We felt heard, and we felt they took their time with us. Definitely a great experience for me and my kiddo.

Got a sore throat on Tue, tested positive for covid with a home test. Scheduled an appointment for Sat at 200p. Called in about 205pm. Was a little surprised the Doc didnt retest me for Covid. Just went on the home test. He asked when I wanted to go back to work, as I needed a letter to be able to return. Did ask if I wanted any meds. Sent me back to waiting room to wait on my letter. I was on my way home at 219pm. Doc was very friendly as was the staff. All smiled and seemed like they enjoyed what they were doing.I would definitely go back there. I would recommend to others.

My wife recently traveled to the NextCare on Mesa Drive and McKellips because the website said they had an x-ray machine and she has severe bronchitis. When she arrived there was a piece of paper on the check in window that said the X-ray machine was broken. She asked the office staff about it and they said it had been broken for some time and they were not good to get it repaired, but they were also not allowed to remove it from the website. She considered going to another urgent care facility, but that would have meant waiting another day. She was seen by staff, and they were helpful, but could not diagnose her condition fully without a x-ray.The one star review is for deceptive advertising saying you have an x-ray machine at this location knowing it is broken and there are no plans to repair it.

Staff was very nice. Ot was quick and easy. The PA was super nice.

Making an appointment was the best thing I ever did but I had a great experience. Staff was efficient and thorough. The doctor came in quickly and eased my concerns. I was very happy with the experience 10/10.

I was misdiagnosed here recently. He said it was bronchitis going around and had seen 40 patients like this. He prescribed medication and off I went. I ended up getting worse and went to see my Dr who said I had pneumonia in my lungs. The receptionist was great and the nurse. I felt the Dr could have been a little more thorough and not so quick to judge.

We were seen a few minutes early, the MA had read previous notes and did not ask us to repeat everything we had completed in online paperwork. The staff was professional, polite and respectful. The NP we saw was clear with his explanations and instructions.

The Drs here at this next care location are absolutely amazing! My twins are very picky when it comes to Drs and are usually scared to go see a Dr but my twins dont have a problem coming here to this urgent care and location.. My twins like Dr gruwell. He seems very professional and is very good at explaining things to them. And to make self I would recommend this location and this Dr to my friends

I was experiencing extreme pain in my lower left pelvic area. I tried calling my regular physician but the earliest they could get me in was in 8 days. With my level of pain I knew I couldnt wait that long. I was able to walk in and be seen in about an hour and a half. The staff and doctor were amazing and I was able to get an ultrasound scheduled and the medications that I needed promptly. I would definitely recommend this place!

Making an appointment online was simple and straightforward. I was able to fill out all of the necessary paperwork online from the comfort of my home. I arrived on time for my appointment and was seen in fifteen minutes, which is pretty damn good for any doctors office, much less an urgent care facility. The staff were polite, friendly, and efficient; the doctor took the time to listen to me, and I genuinely felt heard and taken care of. Would definitely recommend this facility.

The receptionist was very welcoming and considerate. I didn’t have to wait very long at all… maybe 20 minutes. The nurse was very compassionate and reassuring about my symptoms. She also made a few at-home suggestions I could do to ease my symptoms. Aaron Seaman, the NP, was very positive and optimistic that his regimen could greatly help me very quickly. I was afraid I’d have to go to the hospital for IV antibiotics, and he was very reassuring that ‘we’re definitely not there yet’. I hope he’s working if I have to go back again. I was mistreated by banner baywood to the point I had to walk out but i still needed medical attention so I went to nextcare, and im glad i did. The visit was quick and painless. I got seen right away, got the medication I needed and was free to go about my day. The staff was friendly and profesional. Thank you Nextcare, you shined where banner failed!

The front desk person is very pleasant and helpful to all the patients. The FNP, Aaron Seaman is just excellent. Wish he could be our pediatrician! We’ve met him a couple of times over the years and always appreciate how thorough he is in his exam, diagnosis and explanation. And he’s comfortable for my kids to be around, without being overboard with the silliness that we usually experience with medical professionals who work with kids.

Very caring and thorough. I had a major sinus migraine, blurred vision and dry nasal passages. I was given a thorough examination and diagnosis by Lucas, a registered practitioner. He assured me my symptoms were allergy related infections in my sinus cavity and passages and not a severe medical condition associated with my presenting symptoms. Thank you NextCare!

I made appointment and arrived early, was told to wait in the car. After 5 min got a text saying doctor is ready, walked in and was called maybe after one more minute. After vitals doctor came in right away explained everything, he was very polite, pleasant and cheerful. I have not expected such a pleasant visit to urgent care for my issues. Got scripts sent in and was on my way. Would highly recommend this urgent care.

All went very well on the visit to Next Care Urgent care on E. McKellips in Mesa. From the lady who greeted us and helped me get signed in, to the nurse assistant, to Pauline, the Nurse Practitioner who saw my wife for treatment, every thing went very well. Pauline was so good, took her time to talk and explain things and make a good exam to determine treatment, we were favorably impressed! I would be happy to have Pauline for my personal physician anytime. 5 stars to all in this facility!

I was thrilled with the joyousness in the office even though it was after 6:30 pm. The medical staff are far superior in bedside manner including personal care to the hospital ER staff that I had previously encountered a few days before. The medical professional I had quickly got into my diagnosis, and since I have to PCP already rendering a solution to another somewhat related issue, wisely left that portion of my care to my PCP. I highly recommend this location for your urgent healthcare needs.

Went to have my throat and head checked out. I was in a lot of pain when I got the office. Receptionist was able to get me started with new patient paperwork and get me seen pretty fast. Came in as a walk in spent maybe 15 mins waiting for a total of an hour appointment. Shannon checked me out and explained everything that was going on with me in depth. She made me feel heard. I will return to this location due to her excellent bedside manner. Clean facility.

Already left a review but wanted to add that the last three times Ive told them which Walgreens to call in the medication to and putting it on the forms they have you fill out they have not called it into them. They just go back and use the old pharmacy I used to have. Wasted gas and a lot of time all 3 times even after double checking with the providers. How does this keep happening? Doesnt anyone look at the paperwork you all make us fill out?

Made an appointment online. Was brought back within minutes of my appointment time and was out within 20 minutes. Very quick and helpful at the same time. Staff was all friendly.

I went in on a Saturday late morning. I did not have an appointment. I was there with my son who had an ear ache that kept him up through the night. We were taken back within 15 minutes of arriving. The staff were helpful and kind. We saw Aaron Seaman, and he is excellent! He diagnosed the problem, got us lined out on prescriptions and pain medication for the ear ache, and we were out of there in no time. Great experience!

Best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care!!! Checking in was super simple and all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The doctor actually listens to your needs and I highly recommend coming here. It was a 2 hour wait to be seen but I don’t even care because the service makes up for the time.

I love the fact that you can schedule an appointment at this urgent care, and you check in from your phone so you dont have to wait in the waiting room with other sick patients. However this office location in particular wasnt great. They must be short staffed because they didnt have a receptionist at the front desk, and a nurse had to do both jobs and seemed pretty stressed :( The app showed us as being at the top of the wait-list, but the nurse told us there were 2 people ahead of us and to keep waiting. None of the staff were very friendly. But we werent there very long all things considered. Usually we wait for hours at an urgent care. All urgent cares should use this online check-in feature! Love it!

This urgent care is excellent! They were very friendly and respectful. I did not have to wait a long time, and I had come in without an appointment. The Doctor was one of the best I’ve ever been to, and he immediately understood my problem where a lot of times they don’t. I would recommend this urgent care to everyone.

It was a clean facility. Everyone was nice and courteous. Dr Pauline is wonderful! HOWEVER, there were 2 of us with appointments and 3 walk-ins. My appointment was at 830am and I arrived at 810am...but I didnt get called to be seen until 9am and the 3 walk-ins were seen and finished before me. If thats the case, why make an appointment?

Nurse was very rude. had an appointment and still waited 45mins when no one was in the waiting room. could hear her laughing for those 45mins with the receptionist in the back. when I finally got to the room she argued with me about my health history and made me very uncomfortable.

Holy cow! Fast, easy and friendly! You scan a code and do everything online while in the waiting room. I didnt have an appointment on a Friday afternoon and I was still out in less than an hour. Aaron the FNP got to the point and sent in prescriptions ASAP. Ive been here once before years ago and had the same experience. Ill be back when I need them!*Update 8/26/22*These folks are *still* on the ball. I walked in 20 minutes before they closed on a Friday night. I received absolutely no attitude, I was still checking in when they took my co-pay and my butt didnt even hit the seat before I was taken back. I saw Aaron the FNP again and was back in my car in less than 30 minutes of when I arrived. This is definitely my go to Urgent Care and should be yours, too.12/23/23As always a great experience with a knowledgeable & friendly staff. Wait was a little long this time, of no fault of theirs being a holiday weekend and they still were super nice in the face of some very cranky patients. Even knowing my wait time I didnt even consider going elsewhere as Ive always received top notch care here & theyre absolutely worth the wait.

The ladies at NextCare are truly amazing! They always make me feel secure and trust they are going to take great care of me! With my asthma they are fast and get me feeling better! This location is my preferred Urgent Care location!

Horrible service!I sat in the waiting room for 1hr 30 mins. When I was finally seen by the doctor it was a 30 second visit and then it was over. The doctor didn’t even look at me properly or ask my symptoms. She said she thinks it’s allergies as she was 4 feet away from looking at me. I have never seen such poor medical professionalism ever. I will not go back.

We had not had any major issues until the last 2 times we went. The female PA who we were unlucky enough to have both times is so negligent and so bad it’s hard to comprehend why you would have someone like that working here, let alone in heathCARE at all. First, I was given antibiotics when they only made me more sick because she didn’t bother to take the time needed to understand what was going on. Secondly and worst of all, our young child cracked her chin open and needed stitches and in an attempt to get her the quickest care possible because we were worried, we came here. For anyone taking the time to read this always take your children to the E.R. they apparently handle stitches much differently there. The pathetic excuse for a front desk person tried to immediately get us to leave and go to a pediatric urgent care that didn’t even open for another almost 3 hours. Trust me they weren’t our first choice either. Then as we are walking back they say that her dad can’t come back “to limit exposure to them” what a joke. Then we started doing the stitches and our child was obviously not number and the PA just kept going and didn’t say anything after I requested she stop because it didn’t seem like she was numbed all the way. The most TRAUMATIZING situation for me and my child. Fast forward to when we go to our follow up appointment and our doctor informs us only one of the stitches was holding anything, it was really poorly done so will not heal exactly as it should, and there should have been twice as many stitches. On top of all of this the PA was so put out to be trying to even do the stitches in the first place. If you can’t hire competent professionals to provide CARE then you should close up shop. This experience was totally unacceptable and if they couldn’t do what was necessary to help our child then they should have said they don’t do stitches on children or said they couldn’t help instead of providing BAD services (you can’t even call it care) and instead say we needed to go to another location to be seen. I had no idea this was such a complicated idea for these people but if I can save one person the trauma my child and I went through then this review is worth the time. I wouldn’t suggest this place for even the most minor of issues.

The wait time was AMAZING. I had a 6:00pm appointment, got there at 5pm and they let me just do a walk in instead of waiting for my appointment. The service was GREAT. They got me seen right away and the staff was very friendly.

Aaron Seaman is the best NP. Instead of making an appointment with our family primary doctor, I choose to go here. Aaron is able to quickly diagnose, show compassion, educates, listens, engages and relates to my kids and I trust his treatment recommendations. Honestly, he has been god sent for our family. We are so grateful for his help and guidance.I gave four stars because when Aaron is not there, this place is operationally not run well. From the front desk to the other providers, its hard to get good help. Ive also shown up a few times when the website and Google says theyre open, and no one is there. They should leave a note or update their page.

Just went and patiently waited 1 1/2 hrs. Keep in mind, this is all attitude from the doctor.The doctor walked in stared at me and say “yeah? What do you need?” (Didn’t introduce herself)I told her my chest is tight and it’s hard to breathe/coughing. She says “your oxygen is 99% I can’t do anything for you. You should have went to the hospital not here. Maybe they will give you an ekg or echo or blood work” keep in mind my blood pressure was elevated and she could care less that I was there for help and haven’t slept all weekend from coughing. I asked her why would i be struggling to breathe if nothing is wrong and I can’t lay down because my chest gets tighter. She pretty much told me she can’t do anything for me because my o2 was normal and that I should have went somewhere else. Horrible doctor. The only one who cares about his patients thier is the male doctor. He actually listens and tries to help. I’d put her name but I don’t know it since she doesn’t care to introduce herself to her patients. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. This was my go to urgent care until this visit. Never again will I trust this location with myself or any family member

Best Urgent Care Ever! I was there for literally 22 minutes! That has never happened before at an urgent care in my life! The Doctor was promptly in my room after the assistant took my vitals. A-Mazing! Very Friendly and helpful staff.

Have been here a few times and received basic service. Each time was slightly disappointed in the service. This last visit will be my last. I came in with what I thought was an ear infection. They checked and confirmed and prescribed drops. They didnt help.... I went to a real Dr. and they discovered I actually had a foreign object lodged in my ear that was clearly visible. How they missed it is beyond me, but either the Dr is blind or they saw it and didnt want to deal with it or just made something up. I have no idea, but given what was pulled out there is no way he actually looked inside. Pathetic.

My husband and I arrived at 5:50 and were seen and headed home by 7 pm. The staff was kind and professional and got us checked in right away.The provider listened to our list of complaints and prescribed the appropriate meds to get us back on the road to health.Thank you Nextcare, I will never go to any other urgent care and will tell everyone I know!!!

Called and made an appointment! Tested me for covid and the flu! Sent me home with nothing to help me! Ended up going to another clinic and was told I have strep throat!! The white spots all over my throat gave it away!! These guys are incompetent! I understand you can’t give antibiotics all the time but when someone comes it with strep throat they need them! Incompetent clinic! The next day after starting antibiotics from a different clinic I felt 100 % better! This place is a joke

My dad had fallen today. We looked to see who was open nearby, we found one, only to find it closed way before 8pm as indicated online. So we needed a location open. Sorry We arrived here last minute but thank you for taking care of my dad!! Y’all are awesome!

Went to this location as they had an opening to get a physical for my child. I scheduled the appointment and when I arrived I saw there were two patients so I kindly asked if they knew how long it would be. The front office receptionist said she wasn’t sure as the provider was doing a procedure and there was someone else ahead of me. I asked if she had an estimate of how long the procedure would be and she said she didnt know. I said well you have to have some kind of estimate that way I know if it is something I can wait for or not and she continued to just say I dont know. Previously working for a hospital and doctors office myself there is always estimated time frames for most things. That doesnt mean it is an exact timing but it gives patients the ability to make choices about how they want to proceed! All I needed was a “it can take 30 min to an hour” or “1 to 2 hours” but I guess that is too hard to do!

When reviewing their website, it listed that X-rays were available, but when I arrived, they had a sign stating they didnt have x-rays.This on its own wouldnt have been a problem, as the individual at the front desk reached out to another location to ensure they had x-rays available, and said she would check me in to ensure I was seen quickly.After I arrived at the second location and had people taken in before me, that had arrived after I did, I found out they never checked me in, effectively wasting my time.

I had the best experience here. The staff was friendly, I was checked in quickly and taken care of right away. The provider discussed all my concerns with me and gave me a plan for how to deal with my daughter’s symptoms should they progress further. Would definitely go back again!

I haven’t had the opportunity of going to many Urgent Cares, which is a good thing thank the lord, but at this particular location I had the best and seamless time getting in and out. I would particularly like to give a huge thanks to the wonderful woman at the front desk that attended me and made my experience as great as possible. I was seen at this urgent care on Dec 23rd. Everything went well with this visit and I was given a referral to have a CT scan done. I went to Simon Imaging which schedule me out to Jan 4th. Simon Imaging had problems getting authorization from my insurance which was totally because of their lack of professionalism. It took me only 10 minutes on the phone to get authorization. So I was schedule out to Jan 11th. I went in for my scan to find out I was denied because it was 19 days since my visit to NextCare. So instead of NextCare resending my CT order. I had to come back to NextCare to get examed again for the same thing. Then I was denied the CT Scan and was told I only need a ultrasound. So with that said I find it totally ridiculous that I was mislead for a problem that could be very serious or life threatening. Plus I had my time wasted and the cost of fuel driving around to get this issue taken care of. Why would 2 NP send me for 2 different procedures? I find this to be a total lack of experienced professionals who are dealing with peoples health issues. Hopefully someone will follow up on this and correct the issue. No apology was given for the way this was handled and Im not going to let this go so someone else has the same issue I had!

You guys turned my boyfriend away from being seen because he wouldnt wear a mask. How on Earth are you okay with this?Looking around the room, you see everyone in the lobby. And i mean EVERYONE, with their masks half over their mouth or under the chin. Including the front lady who had to pull down her mask multiple times just to get her message across. What exactly is this mask doing for you? Who are you trying to satisfy? And when is the line drawn?Shame on you all. I dont wish harm on anyone, but I hope you guys experience what we experienced today sometime soon in your own person lives. Thats the only way your staff will see how unjust their actions and decision-making (or lack thereof) truly were.

I recently visited the minute clinic for my Rapid Testing PCR test. They were super nice and quick. They took my personal info and I waited for 5 minutes before I was called in. They took my blood pressure and temperature before the swab test. They asked me to wait for 15 minutes and gave me my test results(hard copy). All in all,it was a smooth and quick process. Would definitely recommend it.

I went to another Urgent care today and was not happy with the way I was treated. Made an online appointment at Next care and got right in and the staff was awesome! We always go to Nextcare on McKellips because the staff is Amazing!

I went in there because my daughter had a rash, we waited maybe 5-10 mins in the waiting area before they called us back, straight away the nurse did her thing & 2 mins later the dr came in gave her her diagnosis & asked us which pharmacy we use & we were out. We were there a total of maybe 30 tops! Everyone was very nice quick & the place was very clean! 10/10 recommend this urgent care!

I came in for high blood pressure. Was sent home the same way. Got advice instead of treatment.

I’ve been here a few times before , and it has always been a wonderful experience …the process for scheduling and checking in is easily and the providers here are wonderful and very knowledgeable.

Every part of the visit was great. The good natured receptionist let us in a couple of minutes before opening hours with a great smile. The dr was understanding, obviously competent and genial. He took all the time we needed with no sense of rush even though that is a very busy office.

This place is awful. My wife had an appointment but was made to wait over two hours past my appointment time to be seen.Had tests taken on 4/18-2022 and was told they would be back in 3-5 days. Today is 4/23 and they still are not back.As for communicating with the clinic forget it. They do not answer their phones a division away from the clinic does and they will not tell you anything about the outcome of your tests only the clinic can, and as I said they are impossible to reach.Avoid this place at all costs.

Dr. Aaron is amazing. He has always prescribed medication that takes care of business. Not to mention this particular urgent care is right across the street from me! All good things about this place. They have always been good to my family and I 😊

Next Care is always clean. The doctors are always professional and caring. If you come in with a serious problem they do their best to work you in quickly. If you have to wait the waiting room is bright and has reasonably comfortable chairs. I have been to this particular Next Care at least five times over the last three or four years and I have always gotten excellent service.

Aaron is amazing!! He took the time to discuss my symptoms and explained my treatment. The nurse was nice and welcoming as well. I would recommend.

I love this place! There’s usually only a 5-10 minute wait, if even that, so they get you in fast. Everyone there, the front office staff, the nurses who do the vitals, and the doctors/Nurse Practitioners are ALWAYS all so kind, nice, just make you feel really comfortable. They never judge you or hassle you. They never make you feel like your issues are brushed off or ignored. They listen, they truly care, then they help with whatever treatments needed to get you better! They’re great! Overall always satisfied and taken care of after every single visit over the last four years. Love that I even get to see the same doctor each time as it happens. Always recommend them! The front office girl Jenny and the MA Melanie were awesome, very friendly and efficient! The provider Bronte was very friendly as well but we had to wait quite a bit before been seen when there were no other patients which seemed ridiculous! Other then the wait time to be seen the clinic and everything else was great!

It took me a while to figure out the check in on my phone but it was really quick. Front staff was pleasant, doctor and her assistant were beyond sweet, and happy to answer all my questions. Its hard to find a medical facility with both kind doctors and front staff, so I do recommend this location.

Oh my goodness these professionals should have been at home with theyre familys, when me and my husband came in. Evedently the pain is a kidney stone on top of a UTI. The doc was very caring and told me I was not a cry baby; I felt like a terrible cry baby. I am resting comfortably for the first time in 24 hours. It is so nice to go to the restroom caz ya gotta go and not throw up. Thank you everyone at Next Care. You all put up with my grumpy pain and so efficiently as well as daringly. This is the best experience Ive ever had an urgent care in my life!! I never write these kind of reviews but this time I had to because it is unheard of the physicians assistant or doctor actually sit down and talk to you for a second and listen to what you have to say. I appreciated his kind personality and he seemed to take an interest in making sure that we were as healthy and happy as possible and you cant fake that. This PAs is super great keep him forever and give him a raise! And its time we have Urgent Care needs we will for sure come to him

Not a good experience today. Took my son, only he was allowed to go in the room, which is ok. My son was told he would get a prescription for antibiotics. No communication from the dr. Or front desk as to where to pick up the medication.I called the pharmacy on my sons paperwork, not there, they sent it to the wrong pharmacy out of my way. Had to call and wait on hold forever just so they can fix their mistake. It was early evening so maybe theyre just rushing to go home but I wont come back to this place.

Maybe I’m just lucky, but I’ve never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes at this urgent care. It is easy to book and online appointment and they also takewalk-ins. Staff is friendly and my care has always been good.

I have to say I’ve visited this place a couple times I’m no stranger to it. I’m always greeted with kindness, respect and consideration. They try to keep it easy. Front desk is always so helpful. All the providers I have seen listen and really have been helpful with my issues.I am a repeat patient and this would be my family dr if I could.Thank you. ;)

I almost dont want to tell people that this is the gold standard for the next Care Urgent Care Centers! Absolutely no wait whats so ever! The staff was courteous, quick, and knowledgeable! I was in and out of that place within 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment! Good job guys!

I made an appointment ahead of time. After I filled out my form I waited less than 5 min. I was in and out quickly. They were very professional and I felt they truly cared. I was given the tools to heal and am feeling better already in about an hours time. I would highly recommend NextCare to all.

Scheduled a sports physical for my daughter and it went great. We were roomed shortly after arriving. The receptionist and medical assistant were very pleasant. The FNP Aaron Seaman was very theral, professional and nice. I was very pleased with our visit today. 👍🏼👍🏼
