Jennifer Berman and her team are the best in the business. I came from another hormone specialist who was completely incompetent and the office was disorganized. Dr. Berman and her staff are the polar opposite. I love them so much. They have gotten my hormones back in balance. They’ve really listened to my needs and I feel like I have a partner in my care. I am a doctor myself and I know good patient care when I see it. Jennifer Berman thinks outside the box. Her surgical technique is more advanced, her approach is much more holistic and she’s a beautiful caring doctor. I feel instantly better the minute I walk through her door. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

If you are at a point of seeking support for hormones you want a doctor and their team that will provide thoughtful care and service. I did not receive this. This is something a patient deserves from their care provider, especially when it comes to the issue of hormones.

She made sure to fully explain the side effects and benefits of taking the medicine she prescribed, instead of just giving her signature and wishing me good luck. I did not have a great experience here. I got two packages of the EmFace. First package I couldn’t have said enough positive stuff about. So I bought a second package to continue treatments. The first package was exorbitantly expensive. By the time I got the second package, prices had come down a little bit. I booked again and the doctor (who I saw for the very first time after having been there 5 times already)-showed up almost an hour late for my appointment. I was offered to sit in the medical device chair to ‘strengthen my pelvic floor muscles’ which I thought was a bizzare concession price for her tardiness. Then trying to book the next treatments I was ghosted for weeks. When I finally just asked for a refund of my unused session, they alerted me the staff member who had done all of my previous sessions was not a doctor and no longer working for them any longer because she maybe wasn’t qualified somehow given had that she told me incorrect information about the protocol for doing these EmFace sessions. In all, I was refunded my money for my unused session after a lot of back and forth. I was really looking forward to a great experience but I felt really uncomfortable in my experience in the end when they seemed to be having a lot of changing staff.

This office is SHADY. Im not sure why Im getting a completely opposite experience than the rest of the reviews here.Dealing with early menopause and crazy insomnia, I researched and was really excited to meet Dr. Berman. However, the office is so disorganized and completely unprofessional.For half a year now, my appointments kept getting rescheduled the day before and I had to wait two weeks for the next availability.Because my concern is hormone based, I have to get bloodwork done at an outside lab before each appointment which costs me almost $300 each time out of pocket. Because the most up to date hormone levels change constantly, the most up to date information is needed in order to know how to specifically treat me. I had to redo them twice due to Berman rescheduling before I even had my first appointment. Thats almost $600 down the drain!After 4 reschedules and many months, it finally looked like I would see Dr. Berman. And of course the day before, the office contacted me saying she would not be there but another doctor could take care of me. Frustrated with the whole entire process, I agreed to this.When I arrived, there was a nice receptionist woman and a man sitting behind the reception area, who didnt even say hi to me. He ended up being that doctor. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and administered my hormone pellet without even introducing himself or letting me know what he was doing. I had to ask the receptionist what was going on and ask if he was the doctor after he pulled out the scapple. When I left, they said they would have a follow up call in a few weeks and that I would need more bloodwork done to see how my body is reacting to the new hormones. Of course, due to more rescheduling AFTER my pellets I had to do it twice only to have them cancel my call with no follow up date. Another $600 down the drain. I give up! BEWARE NEW PATIENTS! I will never get that $1200 or my valuable time back.

Without a question the least caring, least ethical, leastcompetent doctor I have had the misfortune to workwith in my long life. I am busy writing up my problemswith this woman for every possible agency one can file with, including her licensing board. Canceled andshowed up crazy late for more appointments than shekept, informed me Id get a refund for unused servicesand never delivered, my pellet treatment causedmassive hair loss (no I was not informed this is apossible side effect) which I have since learned is notuncommon and she stood me up for threeappointments to discuss my hair loss concern. Noshowed she did. Repeatedly. What a nightmare thishas been. And she has two sets of books. One fordetermining refunds and one for charging patients.never got any of the refund I was entitled to --whileshe did offer half of what she owed (never paid) andtold me to take it up with her software companybecause it was their fault her books didnt match. And that they are a tight knit office group and asking who I interacted with. If you were so tight knit you would know who I dealt with and that it was largely with the doctor herself. Ask to read her texts with me for starters. She was the one who told me more than once to take it up with her medical billing software company. Would you like me to post copies of those texts since you are so skeptical? Is that the only thing you want to explore? Please explore why I did not get any of my valid refund since you want to get to the bottom of things. Seriously, get to the bottom of that. One of my jobs by the way is a professional medical biller. I know film-flam unethical billing when I see it and that is what was going on with my billing and dragging out my miscalculated refund and then failure to pay it at all. This all went down in text with Dr Berman. You are either ill informed or disingenuous ,Just Read Susan’s update. You say Dr. Berman has no idea what this is abt. How can I mail texts of her own emails to her when they are on her cell, the same number you asked me to text them to—meaning she is denying it all. How does one deny something for which she knows there is a paper trail. I tried for over 6 months to resolve this both with the Dr and one of her staff and I have about 80 texts where this was dragged out, promised to pay, debated about the amount and justified by the billing software to no avail. I was told I’d get a refund and didn’t. Now you Susan are asking me to prove this even transpired with the emails of the cell of the doctor you say denies it by sending the same texts back to the dr’s same account. Can you not see that is not tenable. You have all the info you need to make this right. And if I thought her integrity was in question before…. I think this is gaslighting at its finest. PS. Sharon in case you are just misinformed and not complicit I sent one of the “alleged texts” to your manager email. As to the contact info, I doubt you have had more than one client this year who lost most of her hair due to hormone pellets. Also talk to Nagar she was on another text chain with me and the doctor early on. Your office and the doctor have my contact info. Good luck getting my refund sorted out.Update: I did reach patient coordinator last week. Sent two screenshots of “alleged texts” and contact info. Haven’t heard anything. I fear I have just participated in more gameplay I but I want to give them a chance to do right.

Going to Dr Berman was like meeting my best girlfriend. She is completely relatable and made me feel completely comfortable. Her office staff is wonderful with great follow up. I will highly recommend her to all of my friends.

What can I say about my visits with Dr. Berman? The most important thing to know is that she is a character. She so clearly loves what she does, and thats made evident once youve caught yourself chatting for 30 minutes before even starting treatment (dont worry, no one was waiting).The Emsculpt is excellent, the device works as fantastic as it said during my research, but the device is the same no matter where you go, you choose Jenn for her experience and her.In todays day and age, finding someone who genuinely wants to see you succeed is so difficult, but Jenn and her entire staff invest in you and make sure that youre in good hands.Whether you know her from TV or just because shes in the area, I would recommend going in for a consultation.

I was never able to see this doctor because her office canceled my appointments twice. Then they couldn’t schedule me again for another 2 weeks after I’d waited 3 weeks for my first appointment. Unacceptable. She may be a good doctor but she definitely is not organized. Proceed with caution.

Booked a virtual consultation for my first visit. I called to confirm it would be video chat and not a phone call. 40 minutes after my appointment time the doctor called (not FaceTime or zoom). The appointment itself was helpful, but doctor was not familiar with my medical information, age, etc. at all even thought the office required pages of information prior to your appointment. At several points during the call the doctor was distracted giving direction to her office staff mid our conversation. Overall, if this call had been $50 I would have been understanding of the bumpy experience and distracted doctor. But for $750 I will not be continuing treatment. If the appointment had truly been virtual the doctor may have felt more accountability to focus on the patient in front of her.Updated 9/29:Dr. Berman, I genuinely appreciate your response and understanding towards my experience. TERRIBLE DOCTOR!! THIS IS A SCAM! I was there for a consultation. The way she speaks to her employees is DISCOURAGING AND DISRESPECTFUL! She treats them like they’re her slaves. She made me wait almost 2 hours for a consultation when I heard her talking on the phone in the back the whole time. She only cares about the money and what she can sell not about us (her patients). Ive been visiting Dr. Berman in Beverly Hills for Emsculpt treatments for the past month, and I could not be happier with my results! As in no medical background. Ask what the staffs medical background is before letting them set you up on a machine. This woman is unprofessional and talks badly about clients behind their backs.
