Dr Bandy was highly recommended at a time that was very scary for me and my family. He has always been professional, and kind. I continue to see him for yearly visits and am always treated with care and respect by him and his entire staff. We are extremely thankful for the care I have received!

Dr. Bandy saved my life and I can never thank him enough. I am forever grateful.

So traumatized by what this man & his nurses did do my mother In law. April 2019, she went In for a hysterectomy.. Died 6 days later. Never even left the hospital. He “nicked her bladder” which caused her to get sepsis & die!!!!! She was only 51, & I was 6 months pregnant with her first grandson. After her surgery she told the nurses how much pain she was in but they didn’t take her seriously, never ran any extra test to see what was going on. Each day she got worse. By the last couple days of her life, her skin had turned black. It was terrifying. Bandy never showed his face. She died April 18th 2019. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED.I’ll never forget how happy she was after speaking with him before her surgery, she was so ready to get it done, to not be in pain anymore. Then ended up being in the most excruciating pain of her life, I’m sure, before it ended. I miss her so much.

Dr. Bandy and his staff were very caring during my recent surgery. He takes the time to listen. His nurse at the desk helped me and I was impressed!

Dr Bandy is very cautious and also very courteous. He has treated my mother and aunt very well. The office staff and his assistant are also super caring!

I was given two options for a doctor when I needed surgery. I was told a staff of doctors, or Dr. Bandy being amazing, but also told his bedside manners weren’t great. Immediately chose him. Then, researched and saw some of the same bedside manners comments. I went to my first appointment and the woman at the front desk greeted me by my name, was so friendly and helpful. Then, went back with his nurse who was also so sweet and when I saw Dr.Bandy he was as nice as could be. His nurse and him both took the time to make sure I understood everything that was going on, both of them made sure I didn’t leave the office concerned or worried. I was not rushed in and out. They were able to schedule me the same week. He was very pleasant the day of surgery, and I even had to call after with my own scare and he had me come in to assure me everything was fine and ease my mind instead of just blowing me off or reassuring me over the phone. I’m very glad I chose him to care for me.

Friendly staff, easy to work with, answered all my questions, and very little wait time for my appointment. Dr Bandy is friendly and did an excellent job on my surgery. Highly recommended.

Mrs. Just worked her behind off, put up a fight with Medicaid, and went above and beyond to get me in to see Dr. Bandy. I know in my heart she does her job because it is her calling, not just to make a paycheck. Mrs. Brooke is an amazing nurse and a Very caring young lady. She did her best to make sure I was comfortable and to collect as much information as possible so Dr. Bandy could have a clear picture of my history, as well as my current condition. I dont like doctors and dont see one unless absolutely necessary. In this case I ever so grateful that God brought Dr. Bandy into my life. Unlike the previous Dr. whom I will not name, that cut on me and sent me home to take Aspirin. Dr. Bandy not only recognized the severity of my issue, but made it a point to not cause any additional unnecessary pain. He was very respectful and left me feeling like my dignity was intact. He explained everything in detail and made sure I didnt have any questions. If you have any kind of female cancer, I highly recommend Dr. Bandy and his staff.

Dr. Bandy very knowledgeable and matter of fact in his approach to treating you. He performed surgery to removed an extremely large mass on one of my ovaries and total hysterectomy. I feel extremely fortunate to have him perform my surgery. Also dealing with his office staff was always pleasant and extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bandy is extraordinary. He is very careful and thorough when conducting tests and making decisions, and also makes sure he clearly explains his reasoning behind each one. He always takes the time to address all your questions and concerns and never makes you feel rushed. Dr. Bandy and nurse Brooke are both very caring and express true concern about their patients. They often call patients to check on the status of their healing and to see if there are any updates or issues they might have. Highly recommended!

Dr. Bandy has been one the greatest doctors who has taken care of me. From the beginning, he was concerned and very caring. During and after my surgery, he made my husband and me very comfortable. He and his staff have been awesome!

He almost cost me my life in 2009 with a simple cyst removal became a year long nightmare. I didn’t have the strength to do anything about it. He never even looked at my wound. I couldn’t breathe and was hemorrhaging. I was sent back to the hospital by ambulance. He never showed any concern or care. I spent three months in my local hospital recovering from open incision staph and organ failure. I was completely heathy prior to this. I had to call specialist from my hospital room. Nurses said he was not very good with bedside manners. I don’t think he is fit to operate on anyone. He and his wife acted so peculiar while at his office like she didn’t trust him with women and made me and my mom and sister feel uncomfortable. Please get a second opinion.

I have been pleased with the care but I am scheduled for surgery and I work for corporation and they want paperwork done before surgery and the lady I talked to on yesterday said they cant fill out paperwork before hand. I would be willing to pay for the paperwork to be filled out. This is the only draw back I have so far.

Edit: we had a communication confusion happen and I got a call from the office Manager apologizing and assuring us she’d fixed the issue.We felt heard and appreciated the time she took to reach out. This is still a five star review. If you know anyone that has need of a gynecological oncologist Surgeon!

I took my mother to see him and was very disappointed. He is rude, cold and condescending. He has no bedside manner. Please get a 2nd opinion before using him. I will never allow him to see my mother again.

The best surgeon in LR. Very pleased.

Never even saw the Dr. First he was late took one patient and left again. Office staff very rude and condescending when asked about appt. Never told us we had to ask. Made us feel like we need to sit down shut up and do as we are told. Will be going to uams

DR. Bandy and staff are amazing. DR. Bandy is to me the best Oncologist surgeon I am cancer free thanks to him and God .

Dr. Bandy was rude and very uncaring. Attempted unscusessfully a vaginal ultra sound. Tried to charge for that half ass ulta sound attempt. Hes a total ass.

DR BANDY AND HIS STAFF WERE GREAT!! HE TOOK HIS TIME AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

Dr. Bandy is a wonderful, professional Doctor and his staff are helpful and caring. I highly recommend him.
