If I could give 0 stars, I would. Like many others have stated their billing is BEYOND shady. I was told my insurance (Horizon) was IN NETWORK and I owed my usual $15 copay for a sick visit for my daughter. A few months later I received a bill for $400. When I called billing an extremely rude lady answered and literally said “ok” at my concerns and hung up on me. Their billing is in BROOKLYN, NY! Another red flag. Fast forward a few months they’re telling me I still owe $60. I called my insurance and they are BAFFLED by the claims being submitted “out of network.” Even when the insurance lady called their billing they were RUDE! Do not go here!!!!!!! They are 100% scammers.
SCAMMERS.Do not go here under ANY circumstances. They keep your info on file so they can send you fraudulent bills years later demanding payment. They did it to both me and my son.When you call them directly or their billing company its crickets and they just tell you the balances are owed from years ago and they need to be paid. The are banking on people not being able to contest the charges from 3 years ago and just paying it.I am starting the process of reporting them for this fraudulent activity.My original review from over a week ago below...My son and I both went here back in 2021 when we got sick. Not only did I pay my copay, but insurance paid the rest of the balance.Here we are almost three years later and I received two invoices in the mail for those services are totaling a combined one hundred dollars.When I called the number listed on the bill which is located in Brooklyn not Jackson, I was told the matter was being investigated and to call back in 5 days.Look up 141 Franklin Ave Brooklyn NY location and you can see there are other reviews of people saying the same thing is happening to them. This Brooklyn address is listed on the invoice as the address where you need to send the payment. Also it doesnt exactly look like a legitimate office building from the outside pics which raises even more concerns and questions.There def needs to be an external investigation to determine what is happening here, because its looking more and more like a scam being perpetrated. I wonder how many people out there are just going to blindly send them the money they are demanding because its below a certain threshold.I plan to call back in five days and if the response I get is anything short of it being a complete clerical error and to disregard, I will be contacting the NJ Attorney Generals office.
I just received a bill for my daughter who was seen once there for an ear infection in Jackson 2 years ago for 325 dollars! We have insurance and they claim it was processed. I will be verifying, but find it unlikely as I have never had to pay that much for a doctor visit ever. Upon reading similar complaints in the comments, I wonder if this is their standard operation. I have tried to call and chat on their billing inquiry line and have not been able to get through to anyone.
Was skeptical to go here after reading many recent negative reviews. Went anyways. Had a nice experience. Didn’t wait at all in waiting room. Once in a room I waited about 4-5 minutes. Total time from when I arrived till I left was about 15 minutes.
Horrible experience. Walked in and there was no secretary waiting. Patients waited 20 minutes in the room to see the dc. Waited over an hr and only had one person ahead of me. I walked out.
I was at Chai Urgent care tonight and cannot say enough positive things about the office staff, nurse, and PA on duty. I was seen promptly, treated with the utmost kindness and left feeling really cared for. Thank you! I highly recommend Chai Urgent Care, Jackson NJ.
I want to say, I have been here a few times, whether I took my family or myself, and Today I wanted to write a review, I have to say, from the time I walked in, to the time I left, the Doctors and the staff are very nice and helpful! If I could give less than one star I would. My stepson went to this horrible place yesterday because he hasn’t been feeling well and has a sore throat coupled with a bad head cold. They did not test him for COVID or the flu which is standard with his symptoms. They took his temperature, took a swab for strep and sent him on his way. This is the worst urgent care facility and they need to retrain their medical staff or just shut down!!
I brought my 3 year old child in due to a constant cough. I had never been to the office before, and had gotten turned away from another urgent care for not having a Pediatrician on duty. After signing in on kiosk, the office staff took note of my childs needs offering tissues, and offering water. The doctor also heard my childs constant cough, and had staff get a room ready right away. The wait was reasonable, and staff seemed genuinely concerned for my child. My 2nd choice, may be my first 1st choice for urgent care going forward. Thankyou!
Although it’s a new worker every time I step foot in there. I must say the service has always been amazing. We registered on the iPads and soon after was called up for payment of service and taken immediately back. The lady was so gentle with my son he was upset and crying and she got on his level and tried to console him as best she can. She explained everything to him she was doing in a way he can understand. The provider was fast and knowledgeable and diagnosed my son with an ear infection. As I was walking out the lady asked me if I needed a note for his daycare because she’s a mom and knows it’s going to be required for his return. Although I have no insurance I will continue to pay out of pocket for this kind of service
I am not one to leave reviews unless I find it necessary. Whoever is the girl that is working the front desk in Jackson, NJ at this very moment, Monday, January 8th, at 10:15 a.m. is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional! I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a doctors office. Not only did she hang up on me, but refused to help me with an important matter, because she was too busy. I explained I didnt need her to drop everything she was doing, but I needed her assistance at some point today. I dont understand why people like her have jobs where they need to serve others. She should not have any type of job that involves dealing with people! So disgusting! I really do hope this review is read by the right person and she is scolded for this. God knows how many people she has disrespected!
What a horrible experience with the nurse we saw this evening.My 6 year daughter is very sick and scared.The nurse didn’t give a smile and was extremely rude. My daughter was scared and instead of trying to make her feel comfortable she said you want to get her ? I need to swab her. HORRIBLE. You shouldn’t work in health care if you don’t care about patients coming through the door. It was our first and LAST time we will visit. Sad to see a nurse act like this especially towards a child. Not once did she smile. She didn’t even greet us ! So cold!I will say the gentleman at the desk was extremely nice and pleasant.
Service was excellent and I had nothing but positive things to say until multiple bills were sent to my home. Note - I have very good insurance through state government, have NEVER paid anything other than the co-pay for any urgent care visits, family doctor visits, and even a recent outpatient surgery that required multiple pre-/post-op follow-up visits until now. Then I go to this place and now Im being billed for portions of the strep test and the follow-up call to give me my results (yes - being charged over $90 for 2 minutes on the phone to confirm test results AFTER my insurance gave them partial payment). Ive never been charged for the variance between what the insurance company pays and what the medical facility charges in my entire life. My understanding is that its up to the medical facility to dispute payments with the insurance company, not redirect those variances back to the patient. But thank you, Chai Care, for teaching me a quick lesson to stick to medical facilities that I know and trust because I will never go back to this place again.
I was here today and the doctors were so kind and comforting to me. I am so sick and they didn’t make me feel more stressed or upset. I would love to come back here if I ever need to.
Coming from someone who has anxiety visiting the doctor for numerous reasons, I had the most positive experience visiting Chai and seeing Dr. Heather. She was so kind, and reassuring when seeing me. Never once did I feel anxious or ‘judged’ for being seen by the doctor. I just wanted to thank you Dr. Heather for making my experience one that makes me want to come back to Chai!
I have Never been so impressed with a doctors office. I was In an out very quick. The staff was very kind. My nurse was great, I believe Her name was Melissa. Not only did I not even feel a pinch when she did my blood work, I had No bruising and there’s barely even a pin mark. That’s a first for me! The doctor was great too. I wasn’t exactly sure what was going on with me but the doctor was a great listener and made me feel very comfortable. I felt Better mentally after my appt just due to my great experience!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience here this morning. As a walk-in there was no wait, the staff were friendly and professional, and the doctor was amazing. Not only was the doctor very kind, she was extremely knowledgeable as well. I loved her approach with and treatment of my 1 year old son. I will absolutely use Chai Urgent Care again in the future and recommend them to my family and friends.
Waiting to be seen for appointment they have new people in here today I’ve been waiting for an hour possible stomach virus. Got the medical assistants flirting with the people that’s suppose to fix stuff . I don’t understand in the beginning it was good now they change the workers and I feel like it’s a free for all . I usually they are good but I’m going to cvs now
Did all the work for them told them it is most likely a bacterial infection due to two days of feeling well and getting sick again. I Told them we need a mycoplasma swab. She told us such a test does not exist which is just a big fat lie.After keeping us for 2 hours I was told I look fine even though it was the 7th day of being sick and kicked us out without even some Tylenol. She also said it isn’t bacterial. Saw a real doctor the next day who said it’s most likely bacterial and gave antibiotics we needed. So basically paid a $75 copay to have my time wasted.Not to mention we asked for masks to avoid infecting anyone in the waiting room because we knew what we had was contagious. The receptionist told us they had no masks even though she had a whole pack sitting right behind her. I told there’s some behind her but was ignored. There were infants and elderly in the waiting room. They also did not close the glass door during an X-ray either while there were pregnant ladies around.Went to an actual doctor the next day and got the antibiotics I needed along with testing for all the possible diseases including mycoplasma which I was told at chaicare does not exist. Don’t waste your time at this place.
I had an awful experience here. The doctor was completely unhelpful. And walked in unwilling to help. Just told me to go to a different doctor. Nothing to help with the symptoms until I could go in. I went to urgent care on a Sunday because I can’t go anywhere else on a Sunday. Worst experience at an urgent care ever.Update: Chi Urgent Care had someone reach out to me. Which I was happy to talk to about my negative experience. Hopeful it could be a learning one. I learned something, the doctor falsely wrote on my chart that he offered me care, he gave me ideas of what to do, to take Benadryl and use a cortisone cream. Which he didnt, because if he had I would have that thats what Im currently doing and its not working, I need something stronger, like the steroid cream the dermatologist gave met the next day. I told this to the person who reached out to me. She told me she was sorry I had a negative experience, and she would be looking deeper into it and then get back to me about how they are solving this. I never heard back from her. So, I have no idea if this was a learning experience and the doctor I saw learned. Or if hes still there, being unhelpful and lying on charts.
The staff was so helpful. I went in for a COVID test. Despite a lot of people in line, they moved us through as quickly as possible. The staff was lovely. Another patient was giving them a hard time (for no reason) and they took it with grace and professionalism. Handled it nicer than I would have! Already recommended this urgent care to all my family members and will return.
I’m very disappointed from my visit to this urgent care, they performed poor job in checking, I had fever and sore throat and all test negative I will never go back there, I felt that I wasted my time and visit charges with no care provided!!!
Took my daughter to another urgent care Monday and she was negative for Covid and flu, still sick and breathing became strained on Tuesday night I took her to the emergency room at 8pm. To avoid the 6+hr wait someone suggested here.We had no wait, the entire staff was amazing, Dr. Joe checked out everything and even recognized that her ‘stomach ache’ was tied to a sore throat and tested for strep, along with flu and RSV. We left with a positive RSV and a strep result that we didn’t get previously, or would have waited hours for.Very grateful we found this location and will be coming back! (hopefully not in the near future)
From the moment i walked in, staff was very helpful and friendly. Can’t even express how much better i felt after the doctor seeing me. Dr. Regina is sweet even got follow up calls after my visit to assure I was feeling okay. I give this place 5 stars.
This was an amazing experience. After spending four hours at another urgent care only to be see by an incompetent dr we found this great urgent care facility. There were 3 of us. Myself, my daughter and my 5 year old grandson. The staff was extremely helpful and patient. The x ray tech was courteous and considerate. And the dr was beyond impressive. He took the time to explain to each of us and distributed appropriate meds to us. I highly recommend this facility.
I was able to book an appointment same day @ 9:40 pm. Very convenient they offer such times. When I pulled up, they werent too busy. Only 2 other people in front of me. Im sure it helps that I may have scheduled the appointment when they are less busy and offer less services, but for my purpose it was perfect. The nurse who helped me was super efficient and very professional. I was in/out of the clinic in less than 12 minutes. I wish more places operated similarly where youre only there for one purpose and they get you in and out as quickly as possible.
I made an appointment for a COVID test for the next evening and did all the paperwork online. While the facility was 25 miles away there was little traffic and the place was very easy to find. My husband made an appointment 10 minutes after mine. We arrived early. There was only 1 person ahead of us. It took us a total of 20 minutes for the both of us to be 1-second nasal-swabbed one nostril for each of us.. We would definitely return for other swabs if needed. I signed up for portal access and was told I could check for results there in a few days and not need to call (which is what several reviewers complained about - no one answering the phone!). The whole procedure was quick and efficient. Thanks!
This place is great when there is a LIVE dr. If you make an appointment through Solv, you will get in with little to no hassle. But, last night, they had a telehealth Dr. It would have been nice to inform people who make appointments that that is the case. I also would have appreciated being told when I checked in but instead had to overhear the front desk tell the people who signed in behind me. I mean, that’s a MAJOR detail. People left because of it, I would have bailed and let all the sick children that were there get in earlier if I knew that. But, I decided to stay because they can still do testing which I was there for (flu/strep). So I finally get in after 40 minute wait for the tele dr to see a child, so imagine what that was like. I get in, the assistant swabbed me but I felt bad for her since she was all over the place. I got asked a million questions and then to top it off, the dr had me take my self phone camera for me to try to see my own tonsils! I thought I was being punked. I have no clue what that looks like. Anyway, this place is great with a live practitioner not so much with telehealth. And yes, you still pay a copay for that.
I’ve been to this urgent care 3 times in the last 2 weeks for COVID testing. The nurses doing the tests and the system is great but I’ve witnessed all 3 times the front desk lady being incredibly rude to patients (not me) AND staff. Full blown cursing and yelling at one of the nurses in front of patients. I think you need someone more patient and kind at the front desk. Wow
Online website scheduled and confirmed appointment on Sunday, 6/26/22 at 12 noon. Went to Jackson location for 12 noon appointment. Building was opens, air conditioning was on. Clinic was empty; nobody but me there. Called number referred to and was told clinic not open till 2pm. Wasted trip. Made 3pm appointment; nobody could explain why building was unlocked and empty earlier. Not impressed… would not recommend.
If I could give this urgent care zero stars I would. The only positive thing I can say is the initial testing for COVID was very quick and efficient but trying to get a result was the issue for me. I called each location and it took about 5/6 times to finally get a hold of anyone that worked there. I have been calling each day for about 6 days now for my result and they have nothing for me. They asked me for my info multiple times each call. I ended up having to go sit in a 2 hour line to get a rapid test at another urgent care to be able to go back to work. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
I was very worried about receiving my results for a COVID test after reading others’ comments. The actual visit was very quick. I had made an appointment so I was able to skip past others who were walk ins so it took me 15 minutes tops. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly, but they weren’t rude either. I waited a full week for my results even though they said 3-5 days and did not receive any notice. When I called, they said that no call would mean negative but I needed a paper confirmation of this because that system seems extremely unreliable. I ended up going on the Chai website and filling out a form for “contact us”. I texted with someone the following day who confirmed the negative result. However, I then had to request an email confirmation. I did end up getting what I needed, but it shouldn’t have been this hard. The portal did not show any of my results which is where I was checking daily. It’s been months of this pandemic and I feel like they could have a better system for this.
I found this place by mistake. I cut my finger and needed stitches. I didnt want to have to pay a lot of money at the ER, but it was 8:30pm. Chai Urgent Care is open until 12am!!!! So I decided to try them. The office is very clean, the staff is great, and the doctors were personable and knowledgeable. Granted I know it was late,I but I was in and out quickly considering I had to get 7 stitches. I will definitely be be going back!
0 stars if there was a choice! This has to do with billings and the claims they submit. Not the doctors fault. This place is sneaky and they don’t check with your in network insurance for labs. Nor will they ask if it is ok to submit your labs out of network. You will get billed!!!!!! They also file under all different providers names and filed under a NY provider which caused one of my claims to not process correctly. Another bill! Beware for their sneaky antics! And don’t expect to call there and get anyone to help. They just redirect you to out of state numbers that no one answers. Now I have to appeal all these bogus claims through my insurance. NEVER AGAIN stay away!
Took my son in thinking he had the flu. They did a covid, flu, and strep test and we were told they were negative. They also did a respiratory panel but that would take a few days to get back. We were told it was just a virus and to treat the symptoms for a few days and he could go back to school. Well 6 days later I get a call from the health department saying my son is positive for covid. Good thing he stayed home from school while, the virus ran its course
The doctor that I was seen by was absolutely awesome and the staff were very fast in getting me in and out. They always take good care of me and my family! Highly recommend them!
My dad was feeling very sick with flu like symptoms this morning and a positive home test for COVID-19 and was forced to wait on line for over 5.5 hours OUTSIDE in the freezing December weather in order to verify with a PCR. At the three hour a mark they announced a break in tests that would last at least 30 minutes. He said there is one person working on testing alone and it is taking so long because forms needed to be filled out. Patients were NOT allowed to wait in their cars or fill out forms while waiting. I don’t understand why that couldn’t be done or why forms couldn’t be made digital. The facility is claiming that people with appointments are being taken first, but the website and a phone call clearly state that walk-ins are welcome. This is absolutely ridiculous to force people who are already sick to wait outside in the freezing December weather. There does not seem to be any regard for the patients waiting whatsoever. In the five and a half hours he was standing on line he hadn’t so much as been offered a water. There is also no possibility for patients to use a restroom. He was unable to sit or rest in a time where he clearly is sick with something. In addition to it not being okay to make people wait outside for their tests, this facility is allowing patients suspected of having COVID-19 to stand together in this line. So if the person next to my dad in line is positive in the moment and my dad is negative, now he will be positive because he’s been for 5.5 hours standing next to this person and vice versa. Masks are also not being enforced because everyone is outside, but they are in decently close proximity. This is just ridiculous and not a normal way to run a medical facility that is supposed to care first and foremost about their patients’ well beings.
All too often we are expecting poor service and uncaring people based upon our prior experience with walk in type places. Not the case with this place. I was easily able to get a appointment when it was convenient for me and do all the preliminary insurance paperwork online. Walked in...immediately saw the Doctor and was out in less than 40 minutes and on my way to pick up my prescription medication. I highly recommend this place !!👍
I was blown away by the level of care I received from Chai. Everyone there was so tentative and thorough. I was feeling so unwell and I really wanted to go to the hospital and my girlfriend recommended chai highly and I absolutely agree. Thanks to all the doctors, nurses and secretaries that made me comforted
Went in for Covid -19 testing. The staff was very pleasant. The nurse administering the test was so patient. She has us laughing throughout the entire visit. She was extremely knowledgeable and put any fears we had to rest. We highly recommend this place.
I am sick. Came in for a covid test and to see someone. Waited 45 minutes. Was asked about symptoms. Told the nurse. Improperly performed a rapid test by swabbing only the very outside of my nostril. Was in actual care room for two minutes tops. Instead of caring and properly diagnosing my sickness. I was told to wait in the waiting room. Less then 5 minutes later I was handed a paper with a negative result. Still dont feel well and was not treated at all.
I made an 11 pm appointment for Covid testing. The website said rapid testing, but the automated system says they dont have it. I tried for half an hour to get through to someone to clarify, but no one answered. I also requested a call back on their web chat, but was never contacted. I showed up for my appointment an hour early and could see a good amount of people waiting to check in. I called and explained that I was exposed to someone with covid and the sarcastic woman who answered the phone instructed me to walk into the waiting room full of people. Their poor attitudes coupled with an overall lack of concern for health and safety is concerning.
Honestly, Ive never had a better experience at an urgent care facility. I do have a regular doctor, but I tend to use urgent care when Im ill, and the Jackson location was open until midnight. I was having difficulty breathing, was congested, had a headache, and thought I should get a covid test. When it turned up negative, the staff took such good care of me, that I left almost in tears. Instead of being fobbed-off and told to take dayquil and allergy meds, they x-rayed my chest, gave me a steroid shot, and placed me on a breathing treatment. Shout out to Sue, Judy, Omar, and the trainee nurse whose name I didnt catch (so sorry!). Not only will I be back, but Ill be recommending to all my friends and family. Thank you all.
My fiancé and I were very pleased with treatment! The PA we saw was fantastic as well as the gentleman that brought us back to the room. We just moved to the area and I would definitely come back here if I needed to and would definitely recommend if you are sick.
Made an appointment online for a sick child, get there, and they said they dont take appointments (why even offer it then?) Staff is rude! Now 45 minutes later...still waiting.
I wish I could give zero stars. Went over a week ago for a Covid test. Had an appointment, as did everyone else there. The kiosks didnt recognize anyones appt at all. So we had to check in with the 1 person that worked there and she seemed annoyed but how is that our issue? We tried to do it the right way. There were NO hand sanitizers or any sort of hygienic systems in place at all, no social distancing the seats, no order to anything.....which is disgusting considering this is an urgent care. Who knows what sicknesses people are coming in with. I was told to come in 10 mins before my appointment time, which I did, and I ended up there for 1.5 hours! For a 2 second covid test! Lord knows what I may have contracted aside from covid just sitting there. She told all of us waiting that sick people will always be taken over walk ins, meanwhile whats the point of making an appt if youre going to be treated as a walk-in?! I have since been calling for results because when I go on the app, it doesnt even show my visit or that I took a test. When you call, it says your results will be on the app OR that no call back means youre negative. Like Im going to trust THAT policy. After the mess I saw in there that night, they probably lost my test. If you call and try to select talk to an operator, it just rings and rings and rings for all eternity with no option for anything, cant leave a message, cant go back to the main menu....what a waste of my time. I went there because they had an opening and I thought that would serve me better than waiting for Meridians drive through to open up. What a mistake I made.
I have a VERY serious, first time colonoscopy on Tuesday February 2, 2021. I totally forgot about the Gastrointestinal Doctor telling me I needed to have a COVID-19 test within 10 days of my colonoscopy. It didn’t dawn on me until Friday evening January 29th. I panicked, jumped online and couldn’t find anything with such short notice EXCEPT, CHAI URGENT CARE.I’ve never walked through their doors before or knew they existed, but I can tell you I had an appointment the very next day at 8:20pm!The staff was exceptional, very friendly and their scheduling is SPOT on!I want to especially thank Gitti Klein for putting an overnight rush on my test (never knew that could even be done) so I without a shadow of a doubt, knew that my procedure after putting off a serious problem for over 5 years, would be able to be kept! I can NOT thank you enough!I do have a primary care Physician whom I love and respect very highly for over 20 years, but I can and will tell you this...if for any reason whatsoever, that I must see a doctor quickly,CHAI URGENT CARE will be where I go!A million thanks!
Making an appointment was a breeze. I went in for a test. I got an appointment right away. The tech who helped me was a pleasure. I can’t say the same for intake, but overall a great, super quick, in-and-out experience. I will def use them again.

Took me an hour & half.... 90 minutes to get a throat culture. There were 4 people ahead of me. Shouldve left. Not sure why I need to see a Dr for a throat culture anyway but thats besides the point!

How could it be that we have been calling for three days and no one picks up the phone for the operator or the receptionist? Posts saying the exact same thing were posted weeks ago, even months ago, stating phone issues. Being an urgent care, should you have gotten these phone issues repaired? When we actually went to the location, I was literally the only one there. Are they really that busy that no one answers the phone? We literally have been trying for hours. What kind of Urgent Care is this? I have been reading all of the negative comments on google, which people are all saying the same thing. I called the Dedicated Results Line which again no one picks up. I even dialed the 212 number of the number the manager/owner provided in the comments, and can you guess? No one picked up that either. I urge you to please save yourself the time and frustration and go to another Urgent Care.
Quick in and out. Calm and nice reception. Very professional service. Ty. NP ShuaUpdate. I walked in (not scheduled)at 515. Was told to sign in to the machine. After 40 minutes I asked the receptionist how much longer. I was told that I was being put into the system shortly and then there will be a hour wait at least. Seemed mighty understaffed for the volume.
This place is my go to when I’m not feeling well! The staff is so friendly and there is barely any wait time. I do not believe I’ve ever been in the office longer than 30 min total!
The automated message when you call the office and push the number for COVID testing states that walk-ins are accepted for COVID rapid testing. When I got to the office and signed in, after watching the receptionist be rude to another patient who was ahead of me, telling them to “calm down,” the receptionist was automatically aggressive and gave me an attitude and a lecture that rapid COVID tests are not available for walk-ins. When I tried to explain that the phone system says otherwise, she raised her voice at me and then accused me of yelling. “Stop yelling at me, I’m giving you what you want.” Yes, she was getting me a test, but I didn’t ask for a lecture or an argument. When I went into the exam room, I could hear the receptionist badmouthing me behind my back to whoever was either in the waiting room or behind the desk. Thank goodness there was another receptionist there who was able to mitigate the initial situation and take my insurance, but I will NEVER be back and never recommend this office.
My wife went there for a PCR test. The staff was tremendous, understanding and addressed her personal concerns. Omar was great as was Susan the Nurse Practitioner.
Atrocious. Quick appointment for a COVID test but NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE TO GIVE YOU YOUR RESULTS. Been calling for 2 days. Dont waste your time going here...total disaster....day 3 still NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE AT THE JACKSON OFFICE! I have resorted to calling other offices to try and get results...Lakewood also doesnt answer their phone. Was finally able to get a call answered in the Brooklyn office...I am resorting to calling an out of state office for results as Jackson has not answered the phone once in 3 days of calling...if I could give this urgent care less than 1 star I would.
Made an appt online with no problem, very easy to use website. That’s where the positives stop though. When I went in for the appt, the staff was not particularly friendly. Maybe they were having a rough day. Even beyond that though, I was told to call for my results in 3 days, so I did. No answer. Then tried again the next day, and no answer. Then again a third day, and no answer. I couldn’t even leave a message. I tried multiple times each day as well. Finally on the 3rd day, I called the Lakewood location. Someone answered the phone on the first try and was able to give me the information, in less than 5 minutes.I would not recommend this location of this group of urgent care facilities.
Dont do it! There are too many urgent care options to deal with the frustration, lack of communication and unprofessionalism that comes with this one.... I called to follow-up on test results, after being put on hold for 17 min and 42 secs they did not have them yet and was told I would receive a call when they arrived from the lab... I spent the next two days trying to get a human to answer the phone. When that failed, I called the Brooklyn location who was finally able to give me the results after being on hold for ~9 mins. The results were received the day before... I dont believe anyone ever intended on calling me back... If you cant handle the patient volume, scale your business to what you CAN handle...

I got a covid test on NOVEMBER 19TH and still no results back. Was promised 3-5 business days, its been two weeks. No way to check results online, they said I would get a call or an email with directions on how to check online, have gotten nothing. The one time I got through to a receptionist he was rude and said my results were still pending. Over a week since my call and Im still waiting! Save your time and stress, go somewhere else.
Erin, Gitti, and Jackie were beyond professional, helpful, informative, and kind. The whole establishment was clean and inviting. The check-in was quick and easy and the waiting room was large enough to fit multiple parties socially distanced, which was comforting. Erin, from brooklyn (where we are from) made us feel at home and taken care of through our whole experience, not to mention her awesome sense of humor. Jackie made sure we were all set up and after learning about my fear of needles , helped me stay calm and stable during and way after my blood work was taken. Gitti was confident and a true team player and laughed at our corny jokes. A simple testing , really allowed for us to end the night on a high note, i’m honestly glad we went.
Needed to get an X-ray and did not want to go to ER. Easy to set up appointment online, fast check in. MA’s were pleasant, PA was efficient yet thorough. I was in and out in just over 30 minutes with radiologist-read imaging complete.
Excellent experience beginning to end. Check in perfect. Initial questions/assessment excellent.PA. Awesome. Took the time to follow my story to get me the help I needed. They went above and beyond
I went in on Sunday to get my daughters and I tested for COVID as they were exposed in school. It is now Saturday and I do not have the results. I tried to login to the Healow system and they say they do not have a record of me and just looked at my insurance claim, which has already processed and they charged us $600 for each of us. Not sure how. We just had a COVID test. Would like to get results, but I cant leave a message.
I’m always skeptical whenever I have to use an urgent care. You don’t know the dr or staff and it can be a little at range. However-I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and the PA (schwartzman?) everyone was very nice and thorough.
Half the employees dont have there masks on or dont have them on correctly. I came to get a covid test and after being walked into the room the nurse drop a glove on the ground then proceeded to put the glove on and give me the test. After being told to wait in the waiting room, one of the nurses who was not wearing a mask questioned me with an attitude of why I was still here
They were such a big help! I got a bee sting and it was a holiday, they were fantastic. Everyone was very nice and they all went out of their way to make sure I was ok. Highly recommend!

The Jackson Chai Urgent Care is probably the fastest place i could have found in Ocean County. There mo waiting both times I was there, the employees are nice.
Waste of time coming in for a Covid Test. We arrived at 3:30 and they said they close soon at 4 and couldnt take us. They said because of the area everything closes at sunset. Nurses only put masks up a minute after we walked in as we were talking with receptionist. Outside sign says open til midnight and so does their phones.
If you dont care for small talk, and just want to get in and out, I highly recommend this place.. It was great, just register your email when checking in, got my covid results in 2 days on the easy to use website..I also could not reach anyone on the phone
Must be under new management with sane name. Sadly, the location has become a cesspool, Anti-semetic location which has a case of foot & mouth disease.
Great for late night COVID testing. Went around 8PM and was in and out in less than 15 mins for both nasal swab and blood draw.
Probably will never come back even though I need COVID testing done every week for work. Time to look at freehold hopefully that one is better with customer service.

Went in for a rapid test and a PCR test. The staff were friendly and helpful, the waiting room was clean and spread out, and the test & results were quick!

No one answers the phone, you fill out information multiple times and can’t get your results after because you are still not in the system, and last but not least - this is life or death COVID test results I’m talking about - I have to call the office to get results and no one answers?!?! Don’t waste your time.
