The nurses and staff are just beyond amazing caring woman. I was all over Houston in different facilities trying to find the care I needed and this faculty saved my life, Not all hero’s wear capes!

The staff was so kind and caring. They really made me feel confident in my choice, and made sure I wasn’t a bad person for making this decision. The office was clean and bright. They also played calming music which was nice. Dr. Friedman was also very kind. He explained everything that would happen and answered any questions I had. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped with questions I had also. I wouldn’t recommend any other clinic but this one!

Literally typing this review after my appointment, although it turned out I am not pregnant, I felt completely comfortable. From my phone call to schedule to my actual appointment it was a judgment free, safe space. I couldn’t thank them enough for their dedication to women and their rights!

I can’t say enough things about how wonderful my experience was here. From the moment I called to the last appointment, these humans understand dignity and respect and the hard choices women have to make.I called as soon as I knew I was pregnant (3-4 days late) so I was early in the pregnancy. They got me in the next day. My ultrasound didn’t show much so I came back two days later and was able to get all the information and appropriate medication to proceed forward.The counselors, nurses, support staff and Dr, Friedman (I think?) were amazing.Because of Texas laws I was able to start the process a little earlier than I think they usually like to start, but I was okay with this and it was easier as a result.I had not planned on being in this position at 43, and was certain I was making the right decision.I hope all women get to have such dignified and thoughtful experiences. This is probably my best health care experience ever.Thank you from my whole heart.

Went Jan of this year (2021)Facility was sanitary and clean but also welcoming and calming all the way from the lobby to the exam rooms. Discreet and somewhat quiet office location. The staff was sympathetic, informative, patient, educated, sincere, understanding, well trained, gentle, kind, etc. I could go on for days, but this was my first time being in this situation and receiving this service. They do EVERYTHING they can to make you comfortable. The process includes explanations on what is being said or done not only physically and emotionally but also regarding the law. Some processes like listening to the heartbeat or questions/information they are legally required to do/give, they inform you what their opinion is on necessity and how that differs from the law itself in the most professional, respectful and informative way, while also fully following the law. This can be one of the hardest decisions and situations that any woman can go through and if you have to go through it I would recommend that you choose this facility to be the one that you go through it with. I dont know where I would be right now if I had not had access to this facility. My grandmother who is 80 also verbalized to me how amazing and important of service like this could be to women and how things were very different when she was younger and was thankful that I was able to have access to this facility as well. The price is something that you may have to prepare for financially but it is not outrageous and it is understandable for the service but also worth it because of the treatment you receive. It is almost fully non-invasive and they provide a direct contact to the nurses so that you may have 24/7 contact for any questions concern or comments before, during and after the process.TLDR; 10 out of 10, as long as youre not past 10 weeks this is the place to go Im so thankful for them and everything they do. I would recommend them over PP.

This review is loooooong over due!😩Houston Women’s Reproductive services facility is like the family you NEVER had, or WISH you had! The entire staff from the initial intake simply just pleasant, painless, professional, most importantly relaxing, calm, and judgement free period! I was late on my first visit due to me being “SICK,” I called to inform the office. Upon arrival the staff had already prepared medication to help with nausea. Where else can you find such thoughtfulness? The focus is on you the client and your wellbeing. The facilities are very, very super clean! The staff is kind, friendly, and makes a fuss over their clients that’s huge! The doctor is straight forward, friendly, and focus on your concerns. If you call a million times asking questions they got you, during and after services are rendered. They even sang me, “Happy Birthday.” 🤩 Like I said FAMILY!! Great place and atmosphere HIGHLY recommended. Huge thank you to Kathy and her team for such a fantastic experience! 🤗😘

Couldn’t have had a better experience! The staff and doctor were extremely nice and explained everything very thoroughly. They were very honest about the process and what to expect. They made me feel comfortable from the time I walked into the clinic. No judgement whatsoever. They are very supportive and don’t try to talk you out of your decision.They have a parking garage with ample parking and no protesters.They have a 24 hr nurse you can contact during the process. She is very professional and understanding and will answer your questions right away regardless of the time. The appointment was quick and easy. You will be in and out in an hour. You will not regret coming here! Dr. Friedman and his staff are amazing!

The staff was super friendly & explained everything thoroughly. I love that the office was very clean & that I felt comfortable there. Although I was not able to go through with the pill because I am over 10 weeks, they did refer me to another office who could help me. I would recommend this office for anyone needing their services.

Amazing place. The service was great and very down to earth. Honestly this was a very calm experience. They really show how much they care. The doctor is very patient and kind. And the staff was very sweet. I highly recommend this place 100%. I was very nervous in the beginning but all of them treated me with such big hearts. I truly wanted to cry just by how much support they showed.

I went here when I found i was pregnant, I ended keeping my pregnancy to have my baby. I chose to keep my baby for personal reason the staff nor anyone forced me or scared me to keep it I’m very much pro choice. The staff overall was helpful and very informative and most importantly they were supportive with whatever path I chose. I was not expecting an internal sonogram but it was painless. They also ask if I wanted to keep the ultrasound since I was unsure what I wanted to do. Scheduling an abortion consultation took 15 mins on the phone on my first call. They got me in for the following day and were ready to perform the abortion procedure within 24 hrs. I recommend this location over planned parenthood since I was on the phone with pp for two hours and they never got back to me. Also the wait to see the doctor was very minimal i was in the office for a max of 30 minutes and there was no other clients there other than me.

If you feel like you have no where else to go or even feeling a little scared about the process Houston Women Reproductive Service will take all those worries away. They make you feel welcome and apart of the family. Even through masks you can tell that they’re smiling. The atmosphere in this place is so calming to the eye and ear. Every single employee are beyond amazing, I wouldn’t trust or go to any other place to take care of me. You are in great company and great hands with this place. 🤗

This was not an easy experience emotionally for me . Something I never thought I would have to go through. Honestly when first finding out I was pregnant, and the blessing it was I knew I was not able to care for a child due to my life struggles. After doing research, and getting information from different clinics I’m glad I went with this clinic choice. They made my experience overall less stressful, and made me feel very comfortable, and safe with my decision. They gave me so much helpful information that answered any questions I had. Thank you for making this hard time as comfortable as possible for me, and caring for what I was going through.

Everybody was very kind to me and helpful but Today I left my appointment feeling bittersweet because Dr.Robert Friedman made my experience unpleasant. While administrating the In Office pill instead of having the decency and professionalism to give it to me in my hand he rudely flung the In Office Pill and prescription onto the table that was in front of me. Not only did I feel disrespected but his actions made me feel like I was an inconvenience to him.

Everyone in this clinic is super sweet and supportive. The women in the front desk are awesome and were able to schedule me in even though I was a walk-in. Ms. Catalina the nurse, was simply awesome!! I appreciate you all so much for being here for me through a difficult time.

HWRS was amazing, progressive and professional. The clinic is clean and does require masks! They even did a temperature check and sanitizing hands all at the door, which is unheard of in Texas nowadays. I appreciated the calming music in the lobby, it really helps to ease my mind upon first entering. The doctor and nurses are all very gentle and attentive through the examination process. The medical abortion instructions they provided were clear and simple. They had a nurse hotline for emergencies or if you needed someone to validate what you are experiencing as normal. The staff also booked future appointments (which were FREE) to make sure everything went smoothly and said I’m welcome to come back anytime for a check-in. Thank you for respecting a pregnant persons choice!

Nice, calm & very welcoming. Plenty of helpful information the nurses provide & care. Super thankful for the nurses who helped me through this journey. Definitely would recommend to those who are unsure of where to go. This is the place, super nice & made me feel comfortable.

Quiet, calm and compassionate. It’s already a hard decision to make. I never once dreaded going in to their office. Everyone was kind and considerate not only to me but to my partner as well. We were both treated with respect. No better place in Houston.

Would highly recommend. The staff makes you feel comfortable and at ease. An amazingly clean and organized facility. They take the proper precautions for COVID-19, temperature checks as you walk in, must wear a mask the whole time, and hand sanitizing stations at the doors.

As many of the women that come here know.. the situation we find ourselves in is very hard as it is. I am thankful, very very thankful for choosing to come to the Houston Womens Repro Services and not somewhere else.From the first message I sent.. they immediately responded to me and told me they could see me in 2 days, ( Planned Parenthood could see me in 12 days from when I contacted them). As you all know this is a matter of time... and I am extremely grateful they could see me in so quickly.and the price was $2 dollars difference than the other clinic.When I got there parking was easy, and there were absolutely NO protesters or people making your situation harder.My nurse was sent from heaven, she is the most caring, compassionate, loving an supporting individual Ive had the pleasure to meet..

Probably one of the best doctors’ offices i’ve EVER been to. They’re extremely sweet, helpful, and non-judgmental. They also got me on birth control which i’ve been trying to get on! If they could be my regular PCP i’d be in heaven.p.s please stop leaving negative reviews simply because they don’t answer the phones- they are a busy clinic, they’ll get back to you if you leave a voicemail/send a message on their website, like I DID.

From the front desk to the doctor everyone is caring, passionate and do their best to make sure you are comfortable. They tell you to do whats best for you! They made me feel less depressed and more like I was making the best decision!

I visited this center after a tough decision and was insanely nervous, anxious, fearful, and unsure of the situation and the location.1) Situation - thousands are women go through this. This place was very re-assuring, no judgement, and beyond comfortable.2) Location - I’ve never been anywhere else, but I know there are protestors at planned parenthood.This place has NO ONE that will try to speak to you and no one waiting outside. It’s quite secluded and within a business building.However, for me, the pregnancy was far behind what it should be and they re-scheduled me for the next week. If the pregnancy was developing, we would proceed. Or there was a chance I could miscarriage.You do not pay again for additional ultrasounds.I ended up miscarriaging before the next appt, which they confirmed during the appt.While I did not have to proceed, I am happy I had the choice. I am so happy with this place and how they have made an uncomfortable situation a comfortable process.

Best clinic in all of Texas everyone is so kind and caring and they allow you feel supported and safe I am beyond grateful

Very private clinic, clean and friendly staff. Every time I had a question Kathy or Catalina were always available, didn’t matter what time of day it was or at night, they were always there. I recommend this clinic to anybody looking for these type of services.

PLEASE, PLEASE !! BE VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR FOLLOW UP ULTRASOUND. I WENT IN AFTER 1 WEEK OF MY ABORTION, AND I WAS TOLD: EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD YOU CAN NOW CONTINUE WITH YOUR REGULAR ACTIVITIES. 3 DAYS LATER I AM TAKEN INTO ER FOR RETAINED PRODUCTS OF CONCEPTION, AND HIGH FEVER AND CHILLS.

Nurses are rude and very quick to take your money they don’t check your overall reproductive health save your money and goto planned parenthood you’ll get a one stop shop instead of a chop shop
