Dr. OHern is the only fertility specialist I recommend. I saw two others, at different practices before finding Dr. OHern. Infertility is scary and difficult for a lot of people Dr. OHern is kind and caring. She takes her time and explains in detail things that we as first time patients didnt even know to ask. The care and guidance she provides is top notch and what everyone in this field should strive for.

I came to Dr. O’Hern as a second opinion because the first fertility doctor I went to was awful. My body its self unfortunately does not want to cooperate with what I want but Dr. O’Hern has been amazing with explaining all procedures to me and taking care of me. I had to have a D&C about a month and a half ago and she was there and took care of me. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone.

Dr. OHern provided me with the perfect balance of realistic statistical information, compassion, and care in the way she helped me navigate my fertility journey. I have been a patient for over 3 years now. I have 1 healthy 2 year old and I am currently 3 months pregnant with my second and its all thanks to Dr. OHern and her team. They are all very sweet but most of all supportive. Our IVF journey was an easy process for us thanks to them. They were open and honest with us from the start to the end. Editing to double down on everything I previously said 5 months ago. Dr. OHern treats you as if you are her top priority, sits down and asks you what questions you have and really takes the time to understand your case as a patient. Ive never met a more compassionate, patient, thorough medical professional in my life. Her team is also amazing but Brittany specifically really helped with the process. Infertility is delicate but Dr. OHern and her RN Brittany made me feel supported and seen every step of the way.Dr O’Hern is one of the most kind and patient medical professionals I’ve ever gone to. She takes the time to answer any questions you may have and doesn’t make you feel rushed. She also makes you feel comfortable with any procedures or treatments you are having. Could not recommend her more.

I would recommend Dr. O’Hern 1000%. Out of the multiple fertility doctors I consulted with in Houston, Dr. O’Hern was the only one who actually listened to me and gave me a chance Thanks to her I have my miracle baby girl and I will be forever grateful.

Dr. O’Hern has been very attentive since our very first video appointment. Since we were travelling from Puerto Rico to receive IVF treatment we wanted to make sure that we had a doctor with the best chances of success. Although nothing was guaranteed we always felt at ease because there was never a question that she couldn’t answer. She always stuck to the plan unless tests results showed that it was better to change it . Dr. O’Hern was always prompt and detailed in her responses via appointment or email. For the various important steps within IVF we had her colleagues which were also excellent. It’s not only important to have your main doctor be great, but the other doctors in the clinic as well since they can be performing the egg retrieval or frozen embryo transfers. We were able to successfully get pregnant from one egg retrieval cycle and frozen embryo transfer which was a pleasant surprise to all of us. Since then I have transferred to an OB/GYN who was recommended to us by Dr. O’Hern to continue receiving care. I would highly recommend her for any fertility issues.

We were referred to SGF (previously CORM) by our OB back in 2021. Thankfully we were introduced to and worked with Dr Ohern the next year and a half. Dr Ohern is always kind, thorough and honest. She gave us hope from the beginning while also informing us it may not always be easy. She never gave up on us and here we are today expecting our first child this summer. Were forever grateful for Dr Ohern, Kelcie (our nurse) and all the compassionate staff at SGF that helped us navigate this journey and get to this point.

While every specialist I talked to forced me to go for IVF ,she wanted me to try ovulation meds first which worked right away . She is my go to for my future care .Her staff is amazing !! Dr Candice is the best Fertility Doctor, in my view. She helped save my Life by insisting I store my embryos when I was much younger. Today, I am pregnant after my fertility treatment with her. If Dr. Perfetto gives you a diagnosis and suggests surgery, its a good idea to talk to another doctor too.Last year, I went to the clinic for a procedure called IUI. I had done all the tests and ultrasounds they asked for, and Dr. Perfetto said everything looked normal. But after the procedure, she suddenly found a polyp in the ultrasound that was done before the procedure. I was confused and asked why she didnt see it before the IUI, but she didnt answer and wanted to schedule surgery.I asked if we could do another ultrasound to be sure about the polyp, but she said she was sure I had one and didnt agree to do another ultrasound. She gave me medicine to prepare for the surgery, but it made me feel really sick and I couldnt handle it.I decided to get a second opinion from two other doctors. They did more ultrasounds and tests with a contrast and none of them found a polyp!So, if youre dealing with Dr. Perfetto and she suggests surgery, its a good idea to talk to another doctor first.

She always responded to every single question we had with honesty and truth . She performed a small surgery in my uterus first to make sure the embryo transfer will have the best possibility of survival. She made sure I was ok on every appointment and was always very encouraging and positive . We definitely recommend Dr Perfetto to every couple wanting to become pregnant. She is the best ! Please seek a second or more opinions on your case before doing what Dr. Perfetto or any M.D. tells you what to do. Dr. Perfetto said my fallopian tubes were bad and pushed for me to remove them and move to IVF. The first time I got pregnant I had a blighted ovum and she said it was ectopic and that I must have surgery. My family, friends and I are so glad I went to other M.D.s as I now have two children from natural conception! I thank God for my miracles and for giving me strength and wisdom to make the right choices. Dr. Perfetto gave me a good impression the first time as she was nice and comforting, but in the end gave me the feeling that she is in it for the money. Give her a try, but please seek a second opinion before investing time and money. Best of luck to you all! Baby dust!

Absolutely loved the staff and Dr. Candice!! They were so helpful and gave us all the information we needed to make any and all decisions we needed to make. If I could give more stars I would and I will be recommending Dr. Candice and her team to anybody who asks me where we went for treatment!!!
