5/5 stars! I had a great experience at Optimal Lab Test! The ladies who drew my blood were absolutely wonderful. I was a bit nervous as I had a previous experience where I passed out while getting blood drawn. But they were so kind, understanding, and reassuring. They made me feel completely at ease and took great care of me. Thank you so much for your professionalism and compassion! Highly recommend!

We went in to do some nipt testing($599.00) and the ladies were trying to rush us out after i had called to see if it was okay to come. I advised the lady on the phone exactly what time i would arrive and she said it was completely fine. We had questions and they kept dismissing us even though they didn’t know the answers. Simple questions like what trisomies exactly were being tested for. They took like 15 minutes just looking for a flyer and then said i couldn’t have the flyer as it was “confidential information”. The flyer literally said only informative material about what tests were included. I said how is that confidential? She ignores me. Then we asked about knowing the gender. The lady said it would be a separate charge($139.00). We decided not to add gender.How ever when it was time to pay she said we didn’t have a choice as it was included in the nipt testing but it was still a separate charge.So now i don’t have a choice? She said no, now i had no choice. So ridiculous to try to get overcharged for something you decide you do not want to add. On the flyer it clearly said that you could do the test with or without gender so I’m guessing this is why they would not let me have it. I took a picture of it. I ended up paying($738 + 3% card fee= $760) because i had driven out and i really wanted nipt testing done for my baby but what a terrible experience.

I recently visited Optimal Lab Test for a womens comprehensive test and had a very positive experience. The entire process was quick and easy, taking only 30 minutes from start to finish. The lady who assisted me, Reyna, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. She was kind, quick, and made me feel comfortable during the testing.I was impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of Optimal Lab Test. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend Optimal Lab Test to anyone in need of lab testing services. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be returning in the future.

The staff here are amazing, super friendly and very accommodating. Just the fact that they are open on Saturdays was a huge plus for me as I was kind of urgently trying to get testing and the results came in super quick. I wasn’t expecting to receive them until Tuesday but my expectations were beyond surpassed when they came in on Monday morning. I never thought “where” you got lab testing done made such a huge difference until I received false results from another lab that left me in quite a panic. I trust this place 120% and I will definitely choose to go here next time I get any lab work done for certain. Thank you guys so much!

I went in to get my PCR test for travel and Sara has been amazing. I was freaking out because my 48hr test at Walgreens was not ready and they couldn’t do anything to help. Sara was really quick to get me through the process and I was out in under 10minutes. Wow!!! Cost was affordable and service was great! Definitely recommend this place. It’s hassle free and you get your results within 2hrs.

They did for $89 what my doctor said would cost $2000 and did it a day. I was able to self adjust my medication am now feeling great.

I don’t exactly enjoy visiting labs, but this location offered convenient and quick (2 days!) lab results. They were very forthcoming with any questions I could come up with since I was so unfamiliar with the process. With my schedule I have to make last-minute appointments so I love that they’re open on Saturdays. They have a lovely office and very friendly staff, and they’re pretty good with their wait time. I would definitely recommend them if you need results that are quick and cheaper than most insurance rates would allow.

Did a test there, they are open 6 days a week, and employees are kind and nice there, and very patient to explain you all kinds of questions. Very helpful. I had a good experience there. Their price is fair. A good place to go if you want to any test. Include COVID-19 test, they only offer 24 hour result service. It is the place you want to go if you have an emergency that need the result in 24 hours. Overall, it is good, I will do business with them again if I need to.

Went on Tuesday and got the test results on Friday of that same week. It was a super fast service. I went as a walk in and there was only a short wait. The girl in the front was very informative

Eric with Houston dna & std testing was amazing I was recently told by a brief partner that she had my child I did the right thing and went in and got a dna Eric and his staff walked me through it and even fit me in minutes before closing the day of they also offer a legal backed dna test that can be used for child support court I would recommend these guys to anyone in need of dna paternity testingThanks Eric

Taraq was totally awesome! We were frantically worrying on getting our results back due to the extensive wait time of 48-72 hours to take a cruise. So we bit the bullet and called for an appointment, he graciously waited for the five of us to show up to get our tests back in the same day. He did, would totally recommend anyone, even though we had to pay.

The service in person is great, very clean & friendly staff.When I received my results things became unacceptable.I had a dna test done, I received the results and called to have them explained which they did, then my brother did, then my brother and I called and were told the same and explained the same again, which she then said, if you’d like call the lab and they can also explain, so we called the lab, the lab said they needed an email for permission we called back optimal they said they will call them, she called back in 30 mins and said, hema are you ready for the news you’ve been waiting to hear, then gave us a different answer. When we asked to talk to the lab directly we were told to “let it go” move on with my life, etcWas the point of me coming to Optimal for a life lesson on how inconsiderate we become when we realize we have made a mistake or to find out the results of something I needed clarification on.I admired the kindness I was given in person, but this experience has left so much trauma.Understand when you give a service that people are paying for it’s not up to you to decide whether or not they should “let it go”

Customer service was Amazing! I had to get blood work done and I HATE needles, but the doctor talked to me while she inserted the needle and I barely felt it. She made me feel comfortable with her drawing my blood. She is an amazing woman and a beast at her job.

I stopped by for some blood tests. The staff here was absolutely amazing in helping me deal with my apprehension of needles. They spent ample time looking for a suitable vein so as not to have to stick me more than once and when it came time for the deed, it was very gentle and painless. They flawlessly drew 4 tubes and had me out the door in 15 mins start to finish. The service here was amazing and I will definitely will be going back for any future blood work.

Going through a situation, called several places. Ran up on Optimal Lab Test and they were running a special on DNA. Thats my kind of language, $299 and 3 day turn around. They also offer a host of other services that well be experiencing. Thank you for your speedy services.

**UPDATE**Initially gave this lab a good review, staff was friendly and as mentioned the only lab I could find open Saturday. I am currently very upset with the service. I went in because everyone promised fast results, I did the lab work Saturday and I am still waiting on results until tomorrow because “4th of July is a lab holiday”. I work at a clinic and here I am at work. Quest and lab corp are working today. Why do clinical pathology labs think is ethical to receive blood samples on a Saturday if they are not to be tested until the following Tuesday due to “holiday” I wish I knew they worked with this lab sooner, I would have taken my business elsewhere.Fast and reliable. The staff is nice and helpful. Also the only lab in Houston that is open Saturdays that I could find. Will use again and recommend to friends and family

I visited the Lab two times and the results were wrong. First time, the staff was very kind and he corrected the mistake immediately. However, second time, the lady staff was very rude and she told me that she was very busy. After two hours, I called the Lab again and she then corrected the mistake. I’m very sad about her.

I brought my son here for routine blood work ordered by his doctor. My son hates needles and was not so cooperative (mind you, he’s 17 years old). But the staff here did a great job at easing his fears and were able to proceed with drawing his blood with no issues. They also accept insurance. I highly recommend this place.

The sign on the door says that they open at 08:30 but no employee showed up until 08:45. Two out of three technicians were not wearing masks - in violation of CDC guidelines. I hope they dont screw up my tests...Response to responseThey are liars, too! I wore my mask as soon as I entered!There are signs on the door and on the walls inside saying EVERYONE must wear a mask.CDC recommends, 04/19/22: Wear a well-fitting mask indoors in public, regardless of vaccination status or individual risk (including in K-12 schools and other community settings).This is the ONLY healthcare facility that Ive been in that doesnt follow proper safety procedures.I will recommend that my company find an honest, conscientious lab for future use.

Found this place on Google, called nd spoked to someone named Eric (dont remember his last name) but he was very kind nd polite nd helped me with pricing nd location. Got lost getting here lol. Upon arrival nd entry I was greeted by a young woman by the name of Rosa, very sweet polite nd awesome worker. Had a nice conversation nd didnt take no more than 5 minutes (for my procedure anyway) Highly recommend her as a go to, she might be new but she definitely knows whats she doing nd very helpful. If I need to Ill definitely be back here I dont mind the drive. Thanks again Rosa youre awesome!!!!

Quick and easy covid-19 PCR testing. Got a test at 6 pm and they had my result the next day 9am. Service is good they called me to let me know I had received my results.

We went for a travel Covid-19 test to a place this morning where there was a huge line. As a result we went to Optimal Lab Test. Fast and friendly service. We were so relieved! Definitely would recommend this lab to anyone who needs a lab test.

Just tried using Optimal Lab Tests after using a major chain lab company for a year for pre-employment drug screens and its a huge difference from my old process. We have only been using them for about a week and already the customer service has been exceptional! We received results super FAST, like in the same day and the price is super competitive (less than what I was paying before to send new hires for drug screens). Having hours on Saturday is a huge plus as well.

Decided to come here after doing some research to get some test done. Both of the employees there were the sweetest and very professional. They offer a lot of tests to be done here. Most definitely will return for future testing. Very clean!

The whole process took less than 10 minutes for an instant result for a 10 panel drug test which was $39!Sofia was very professional, kind, and informative which made the experience very easy! Optim Lab has exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a lab that could do a paternity test within 24-48 hrs. I am a 45 year old adoptee and i have been looking for my biological parents for years. I finally got a lead on my father and we had been communicating. His birthday was 08/20 and we were trying to get results by his birthday. The only problem we were having was he works off shore so we could never get together to do the test. Optim, was so helpful in working with us to make this happen. With all that said, they made it happen. We were able to get results on my DAD birthday. Yes he is my Father! It was the most happiest Day for both of us.
