I can say nothing but good things about the staff and Dr.Otey, the front desk girls are super helpful and lovely. The clinic is always clean, restroom is very sanitary. Dr.Otey office you will find a lot of information about women’s health, the monitor on the wall carries lots of helpful info. I would definitely recommend this location.

Dr Otey, her nurse Tracy, as well as the sweet lady up front all were so exceptional. They were welcoming and their energy was amazing. They were reassuring and very thorough with their details. I felt no judgement at all and they were super kind to my 3 year old that I had no choice but to bring with me to my appointment. My test were painless and fast. I had no wait time in the waiting room like my last obgyn who would be overbooked by 4 people.

Dr. Otey was very communicative and addressed my needs. Very good at explaining medical jargon in an understandable way and treats patients with kindness and respect !

I was impressed with my visit to Dr. Oteys office. From beginning til the end. Everyone was so helpful and in such a good attitude! Made me comfortable the whole way through. Dr. Otey is very thorough. She cares and does take heed to what you are saying. I genuinely felt her care for me and I am sure thats across the board with all of other patients. 10/10 recommend Dr. Otey not only her but her whole entire staff!

Dr. Otey was my obgyn years ago when she was at ?Kelsey. I was terribly disappointed to have to find another doc and I never forgot her. She was such a wonderful doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Otey. Her bedside manner was friendly and appropriately candid and her competence speaks for itself. If you’re looking for an obgyn, please consider Dr. Otey.

I absolutely adore Dr.Otey, she made me feel comfortable as I was searching for a GYN when I moved a few years back. The only OB/GYN I will recommend. It can take a lil bit to get back, but typical of doctors offices.

I would not recommend. I had an appointment coming in as a new patient and had a very unpleasant/ unprofessional experience. Dr.Lisa nurse assistance showed no concern nor empathy to her clients time nor did she have any empathy or understanding. My appointment was at 10AM I got to my appointment at 9:45AM at 10:20AM I was told there were 4 people ahead of me. I asked for a wait time and was told by assistant she doesn’t know. I tried to explain I took off of work and basically felt like my time was not valued nor cared about. If I could give 0 stars I would.

All of the staff here is very pleasant and kind, and I appreciate Dr. Otey‘s warm demeanor. Most of all— the fact that she took the time to listen to my questions and concerns, and made sure I understood everything thoroughly. Most doctors spend about 30 seconds with me, but Dr. Otey genuinely cares about her patients and it shows!

I had been looking for a gyno that is not only professional and knowledgable, but offers a comfortable environment. Talking with Dr. Otey felt like catching up with one of my aunty’s. The entire staff is so pleasant, and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Dr. Otey is very thorough at explaining and answering all questions you have. I have NEVER in my 58 years of being a patient of other doctors, NEVER have I had such an awesome experience. I was recommended to Dr. Otey by my sister whos opinion I truly trust, as a result, my daughter is a patient and I have also told my dgt-in-law and friends about Dr. Otey. Dr. Oteys staff is awesome, very friendly and very professional. Dr. Otey CARES and she takes the time to really show she cares. During my last visit, I was in tears taking in all the wisdom and knowledge she was giving me. She was really taking time out to talk to me and she thoroughly explained in a kind and loving way what I should be doing at this stage in my life as it relates to my health. She was VERY HELPFUL!!!!! I wish there were more than 5 stars for ratings because Dr. Otey and her staff would receive all the stars that are given. Trust me you will not be disappointed if you become a patient.

Yikes on bikes. This office is unprofessional and SUPER disorganized. I was initially referred to Dr. Otey by my neighbor who went to Spelman with her. I tried to set up an appointment after being placed on hold 4 TIMES for a total of 20 minutes, I hung up. Yeah, Im a busy professional and I dont have time for this level of disorganization and incompetence. Save yourself the headache. And yes, the person answering the phone is a little combative. SMH.

This is my second visit with Dr. Otey, she’s knowledgeable, thorough, and honest. No complaints. I called my insurance after my visit regarding a copayment question - Dr. Otey called me personally to ensure I was informed on what services my insurance will cover and when I can expect to pay a copayment. Knowing you have a doctor on your side that cares makes a tremendous difference. She will continue to be my one and only gynecologist, very nice lady. Thank you Dr. Otey, please continue spreading comfort and joy during vulnerable times.

I had a great experience with Dr. Otey. Her office is a small space that is easily accessible and navigable. But most importantly, she takes her time and communicates with a sense of genuine care. I appreciated that she took to her time to first ask if I had any concerns and made sure that no questions went unanswered. Her staff was equally as caring and made a simple blood test experience the most comfortable for me. All in all, I would definitely recommend this doctor.

Great bedside manner, called me after hours to discuss my results and took the time I needed to address my concerns as a first time patient who recently relocated to Houston. I recommend her!

What an amazing Doctor! We mad the mistake of going to a different doctor that was closer to my moms area all of here concern’s went unheard or denied thankfully my mom remembered she was a patient of Dr Otey and how she mad her feel HEARD AND SEEN I set the appointment my mother doesn’t speak Good English but she understands it and DR otey was so attentive and heard all of her concerns and did a procedure that had my mom with sleepless nights thank you DR OTEY for listening and actually carrying for women and taking care of us

I love Dr. Otey as a physician. She has a bubbly personality that makes her easy to talk to. She makes me feel very comfortable and thoroughly addresses all of my concerns. She has great bedside manner! They need a lot of work on the admin side. Extremely long wait times. I showed up 15 minutes early for an appointment with all paperwork filled out ahead of time and still had to wait an hour and a half to be seen. They are understaffed- I had to call the office over 20 times in a row one morning before someone finally answered the phones. I received lab results I should have been notified of, and the office never called me and told me the results. I just happened to log into my patient account and find my lab results two days after they came in- thats unacceptable to me when it comes to sensitive labs. Everyone is friendly, and the office is clean with plenty of parking, but they seem unorganized and understaffed. If you can deal with administrative difficulties, then Dr. Otey is an amazing doctor! She is the only reason I gave 2 stars, otherwise it would have been 1 because of the difficulties.

I love Dr. Otey. Just as many have said she makes you feel very comfortable. Love her bed side manners, which now a days it’s very few doctors that are professional and genuinely care. She is very personable, always return my calls and explain things in great detail.She is the best!

Dr. Otey has a wonderful bedside manner! She is easy to talk and has a wonderful personality! The couple of times I visited her, she was personable and genuinely cared. I unfortunately never heard back from her nor the staff after several attempts to communicate. Also, bring a book because you will be there for a while.

Dr. Otey is the best doctor Ive ever had. She cares about her patients and has a passion for what she does. She is the only doctor who took the time out to get to the bottom of my health concern and provide me with a solution. She is very knowledgeable, intelligent, talented, and helpful. On top of all that, she also has the most outgoing, warm, and welcoming personality. It is always a pleasure to see her ☺️! Her office is always nice and clean, staff are as pleasant as she is, and wait time is reasonable. I will definitely recommend Dr. Otey for your feminine care and fertility needs. Even once I move I will still make the drive to her. A lovely lady she is 🤗.. Thank you Dr. Otey and staff!

Dr. Lisa Otey and her staff are so amazing! Everybody at this office is incredibly helpful and kind. Dr. Otey was very warm, understanding, and helpful. She was extremely patient with all my questions and took the time to make sure I understood everything. I didnt feel rushed and it was clear that Dr. Otey genuinely cares about her patients. She is by far the best doctor Ive been to. It was easy to get an appointment and I didnt wait for longer than a few minutes after I arrived. I cant say enough good things about my experience here. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Otey is amazing!! She makes you feel very comfortable and makes sure that you have a thorough understanding of what is happening with your body. Shes takes her time with you and you never feel rushed. The entire staff here is friendly and makes me feel like family. I am so happy that I switched to Dr. Otey and Im never going to anyone else now that Ive found the right doctor.

Dr. Otey seems to be a good doctor and I highly recommend her. I am a first time patient with her. However, unfortunately, I will not be back to see her. Her office staff is high unorganized, they do not follow-up with you in a timely manner, and are not very knowledgeable on how to troubleshoot or assist with their patient portal which is very frustrating. They were unable to obtain my medical records, which would have been up to me to do the leg work. Never have I ever had to do all the leg work and follow-ups as I have had to do with this office staff. I will be choosing another doctor going forward. It’s very unfortunate because I really do like Dr. Otey but it is very important that my medical records are organized and that the office staff is highly knowledgeable on how to resolve any issues I am having as one of their patients.

I have been going to Dr. Otey for years and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. I drive all the way from the Woodlands just to see her. She is the best doctor Ive ever had, hands down. Shes not intimidating and she makes you feel comfortable asking her absolutely anything. She takes her time explaining everything to you, and she listens to your concerns. I never wait for long in her office, always seen promptly if not within10 mins or so. Her office staff are always helpful and nice well. I absolutely adore this woman. I wish she was my auntie. Lol.

I’m usually very nervous about these types of appointments after a bad experience. However, Dr. Otey took the time to really listen to my concerns and explain what she believed were my best options. I would recommend going to her if you want a doctor who will actually listen to you and make you feel as comfortable as possible.I’m glad I read the reviews on here because they helped me decide to go with her.

Dr. Otey is the best doctor Ive ever had. Once my mom told me to go to her, I havent stopped since. I dont even care what insurance I have, if Dr. Otey isnt in network, I still book all my women wellness exams with her. Shes very thorough at explaining and answering all questions you have.

Going into the appointment I was super nervous. All my nerves went out the door as soon as I started talking to Dr. Otey. She is very nice, attentive, honest and will put all your anxiety at ease. My checkup went smoothly and I was on my way home in no time.

Dr. Otey is a very nice doctor, but she is very unresponsive. I have been requesting a refill be sent for my medication for 2 weeks now and she can’t seem to ever get to it. When I had labs done it took her forever to cal me back and let me know my results even though the results were in. I am constantly having to call hyou r office and ask for the exact same thing for weeks before she ever does it. I won’t going here anymore.

Dr.Otey is the BEST.!! I have been a patient over a year now and I don’t have no type of complain with her office. She just makes you feel welcome all the time.

I first visited Dr. Otey over 5 years ago. She is an AMAZING woman & doctor. Because of her, I was finally able to get a clear diagnosis of endometriosis which explained years and years of certain symptoms. My insurance had changed for a while and I wasn’t able to see her for years. However, I have a different insurance now & will surely be calling her office soon.

Dr Lisa Otay believes that being vaccinated is more important than screening and treating cervical cancer, and resorts to Medical blackmail to force clients to be compliant. I believe that is completely unethical. Can you trust a doctor who doesnt believe you have a right to make your own decisions? I think not.

Dr. Otey took the time to make me feel comfortable. They removed my nexplanon and she let me listen to music and took the time to slowly work it out. I went somewhere else prior and they pulled out tissue and I about passed out. So thankful for this clinic and Dr. Otey!

Dr. Otey is my favorite gyno so far. She has a maternal comfortability with me, and it’s made me feel so safe each visit.
