Dr. Hantes and his team are Phenomenal! Highly recommend! Ive had 3 different surgeries with them. 2 were life-changing. Significantly, giving me a better quality of life. He knows what he is doing, his bedside manner is top-notch. Easing my fear, the recovery was not as bad. His team stayed in touch with me. I wish all my doctors offices operated this smoothly.

HIGHLY recommend!!!!Dr Hantes is AMAZING!!! The very first visit, it didn’t take long to realize that he was going to be THE one to help me!! I had been to several other doctors, without resolution. Dr. Hantes took the time to listen to me- asked me questions- and was honest and upfront about my issues. He was quick to get any and all needed tests ordered. I promise you cannot go wrong in choosing Dr. Hantes!!! He is kind, caring, compassionate, and his staff has been great at each of my visits!!! I would give him 100 stars if that was an option!!!

Ive been going to Dr. Hantes for years! He has the best bed side manners and makes you feel so comfortable. He also has wonderful staff! I would highly recommend to all my friends and family!

Dr. Hantes did a terrific job on my surgery. He’s so friendly, explains the procedure and what he’s going to do, puts you at ease, and was so helpful before and after surgery. He repaired my prolapse and it’s like night and day! Highly recommend and his office staff is so sweet and kind.

I was recommended this doctor but it did not go well. I’ve had to call over several weeks for just appointments to get set up, scheduling a procedure took me sitting in the office for an hour in person after several weeks of phone calls. The procedure was done in maybe a storage room that had huge vats of sterile liquid sitting out around tote bags from the staff. The doctor himself discounted pretty much anything that came out of my mouth. I’m still trying to figure out if the procedure I had done will improve or if it’s just botched. Please find something a bit more organized and reputable before trusting them.

After dealing with pelvic floor as bladder prolapse I went to Dr Hantes after being regent my PCP. This insensitive ignorant man said “wow that baby really did a number on your body.”He recommended reconstructive surgery immediately. I was embarrassed.I am not ashamed now but speaking out to let women know not to fall for this trap of shaming womens bodies so he can cut them open and profit.My prolapse was low grade a sonogram and second and THIRD professional opinion confirmed. I am thriving with pelvic floor therapy and he never recommended that. I paid for his consultation and he didn’t even discuss physic therapy.

Dr. Hantes is an exceptional surgeon and provider. All my options were clearly explained and laid out for me. He is thorough and takes his time at every appointment. Any time I have a question, I’m called back quickly and feel reassured! Can’t recommend enough for all you gyno needs.

Dr. Hantes and his staff are amazing. They also made my husband at ease with my surgery I had back in June. Dr.Hantes treated me well and listened. He also ruled out everything possible before coming to the conclusion that I needed surgery. I would go back if there is ever anything I need in the future.

I was referred to Dr. Hantes by the Veterans Hospital for a Hysterectomy. He was amazing!! I had ZERO complications, and almost no pain. I healed quickly and I am grateful he was my doctor. I enjoyed his professional demeanor and appreciated his expertise. I would recommend him to any of my family and friends and I wish him well. Thank you Dr.

Staff was very kind & gentle. Dr. Hantes was very relaxed & did not rush. I like doctors that make you feel comfortable and like you are their only patient that day. That is the way he made me feel.

My Sister had surgery lat October 2020, and has never recovered. Shehas been in pain for over 7 months. Dr. Hantes refuses to help her, basedon hes been doing this surgery for over 35 yrs. My Sister weighted 117 lbs before surgery, now she weighs 84 lbs and wasting away. Please do your math before you have this Doctor perform any surgeries. After several emergency room visits, Gastroenterologist, Scans, x rays, and Pelvic probes, Physical Therapy and Pain Management, we still have not found help for her condition. She is almost bed ridden, and hurts 24 hrs a day.

They know what they doing. Charging, referring and still having same problem! Care more about my money than my health.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Tate. I went to see him based on the reviews from this website and I regret it every day. Dr. Tate left sutures in my bladder and ureter after surgery. He sutured my bladder and ureter. I was in a lot of pain for over 3 months after the surgery and i was leaking urine. Dr. Tate ignored all my symptoms and treated me with a antibiotic what he said was a urinary tract infection and over active bladder medicine at the age of 32. He never ordered a CT scan or any other imaging tests. He is always in a rush and has poor bedside manners. Dr. Tate ignored all my symptoms and didn’t take my complaints seriously even after I told him that I knew there was something wrong. I finally went to see my PCP and I was referred to a urologist who found 4 sutures in the bladder and one in the ureter. I would recommend not to ever use this doctor and if you decide to see him, ask him about this case. It is safer to go see a resident doctor at JPS.

Five stars is not enough .Dr.Tate is such an amazing, caring Ob. He has been my Dr for six years. He delivered two of my babies csection. I have no scar and my recovery was fast!His bedside manner is so friendly and warm I have moved but still drive two hours to see only him as no other Dr. measures up. I would recommend him to anyone!

I was referred to Dr. Hantes after a previous unsuccessful surgery from my regular gynecologist. Actually, I had surgery and had to be taken back to surgery again from recovery due to complications. My anxiety level was extremely high realizing I would now be facing another major surgery due to the failed one. I often make my opinion of any new doctor from my first contact. Luckily for me, Dr. Hantes has the most AWESOME staff ever who goes above and beyond to make you feel important as a patient. Cassy, my first contact, immediately and efficiently set up my first appointment to meet Dr. Hantes. If I had gotten the smallest negative vibe from this call, I was going to cancel and see another Doctor. Her concern and compassion over the phone gave me a sense of peace and relief. On my appt. day I was greeted with a smile and kind words from Cassy and his nurse Diana. Not only were they friendly, but his office waiting area is homey and peaceful. I am accustomed to waiting lengthy times for any dr. appt, I was shocked to be called back with basically no waiting. Upon meeting Dr. Hantes for the first time, I was extremely nervous. Those nerves were quickly calmed as Dr. Hantes was extremely professional, compassionate, and considerate of my past surgery. He obtained information and then gave me options of what he felt would work best. Together, as a team, we decided what would be best for me to let me live the quality of life I was desperately searching. (I had been experiencing problems for the past five years) Lisa made scheduling a breeze as I felt she worked hard accommodating me and my schedule as I live 2 hours away. I will never forget going for pre-op at Harris hospital with the lobby full of people. Dr. Hantes was walking through and he had only met me once. Not only was I shocked he even remembered my face, but he gave a quick hug and assured me things were going to be fine. At this point, I knew God had placed these people in my life! Dr. Hantes used the new robotics machine during my surgery and also discovered scar tissues from previous surgery that he realized probably made me uncomfortable. He took the extra time to remove this and make sure he did everything possible during this surgery to make me feel the best possible. I dont know many doctors who go above and beyond like Dr. Hantes. The surgery was successful, but this did not come without anxiety as I had previously had such a bad experience. Post surgery I kept expecting something to be wrong. Over the next year I cant count the times I had to call his office to calm my nerves. Each and every time, Cassy was professional, courteous, and so very kind to assure me things were fine. She always gave me the option of coming in at my convenience just for a check up with Dr. Hantes if this would make me feel better. Not once did I ever receive a short sarcastic comment, therefore I sincerely credit Cassy for my emotional well being the following year. She played a HUGE role in my recovery. For each of them, I will be forever grateful. Dr. Hantes is now my permanent doctor and I am also using him for hormone treatment. I used to be fearful of the gynecologist, but Dr. Hantes and staff have turned these awkward yet important appointments into something non traumatic! I look forward to my days of that 2 hour drive I get to laugh and smile in that office with the best doctor and office staff ever! I have a true peace of mind knowing I am being cared for by the most top knotch Dr. and staff available. I actually feel I have not only made new friends, but a new family as well,.. ones that care about my healthcare! If anyone is searching for the perfect doctor and staff... look no longer....Dr. Hantes is THE BOMB! I have referred several friends and will continue to referr... its not the drive... its the peace of mind knowing your health care is being done by the most knowledgeable, professional, kind, and courteous people ever! This is the first time I have ever written a review for any doctor or business. I was having symptoms for a couple of months and went to another doctor. After hearing ONE of my symptoms this doctor automatically diagnosed me with a chronic condition Id just have to live with. I lived with this diagnosis for over a month and continued to have pain which greatly affected my quality of life. I went to see Dr. Hantes and he sat down with me, fully listened to me, asked me questions and we came up with a game plan to figure out exactly what was happening. He ended that appointment by saying he would do everything he could to figure out what was causing the pain. And turns out, what was wrong was a fairly easy fix and Im now pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Hantes.

Dr. Hantes is the best. He always makes me feel comfortable. I had surgery with him and he did a fine job. I highly recommend him.

Don’t waste your time. The Dr is very passive as well as his assistant. Took my elderly mother there and they are rude and do not want to help. The receptionist is very very friendly that’s about it. I’m not impressed.

Dr. Hantes performed da Vinci robotic hysterectomy October, 2013. I had a wonderful experience and short recovery with no issues. My primary care physician recommended him after I had dealt with increasing number of severe issues for 3 years. I was under the care of an OB/GYN who performed test and various procedures to deal with the symptoms with little to no relief. The first visit Dr. Hantes determined I needed an ultrasound. When he did the ultrasound, he found a large tumor that was the contributor to the many issues I was experiencing. I am very thankful for his ability to quickly get to the core of the problem. Dr. Hantes and his staff are caring and committed to female health. I recommend him if you are experiencing issues with urogynecology, gynecology and aesthetics. I trust him with my life.

Dr Hantes did a procedure that someone told me would hurt, but with him, it did not. He is knowledgeable and will set your mind at ease if you are nervous about anything. Very pleasant and caring. I am moving and will probably see him when I come back in town.

Dr Tate is awesome. Staff is friendly and down to earth. Very punctual calling in scripts. First pregnancy and I’m definitely a lot more confident knowing I have Dr and staff on my side.

I am a patient of Dr Hantess. Dr Hantes always does a breast exam with a well woman exam. He always reviews a patients family, past medical, gynecological, social and pregnancy history prior to entering the room. He then will thoroughly ask questions and answer any questions that I, as a patient, might have. He is a gynecologist and does not treat cholesterol, diabetes or blood pressure therefore he typically does not draw labs for issues that a general practice physician would treat. However, he does draw labs in house for all hormones, thyroid and anything else that a patient might request or need based on symptoms. Urine cultures are not preformed at well woman exams due to most insurance companies not considering this apart of an exam. He does not send patients out unless necessary. Dr Hantes is always willing to listen. Dr Hantes is kind, patient, caring, and has an amazing bedside manner. He treats everyone as he would want his mother, grandmother or daughter treated. I think he is an amazing physician and I would not put my family members in anyone elses care but his.

I was referred by Dr. Tate who I trust but I was not impressed with Dr. Hantes. I believe he did unnecessary tests then prescribed what I had explained was not helpful in the past. But I did it anyway with the same unhelpful results. Since he didnt listen the first time I will not return. In addition, I have had a balance due to me for over a year. Ive called requesting a check and have yet to receive one. About to call again to request my refund.

Dr hantes is a colleague of mine that ive known for 10 years. he is caring and kind and highly trained and i would recommend him without any reservations. im an emergency room physician and whenever called upon he comes to see his patient -- a rarity now days among doctors. i would have zero issues with him operating on a family member of mine.

He is the best obgyn and urologist. so open and caring. He just makes you feel really comfortable talking about uncomfortable things

I just love the Dr Hantes and the entire staff hes very clear and direct on any diagnosis that you have and he explains everything very well. This is what you want in a doctor you dont want anyone to beat around the bush with your health and thats what he does, he tells you exactly how it is and I just love him for that youre the awesome.

Office is in disarray. Took over a week for Candice to call back and would not assist with prescription after running out. No more frustrating office visits. Moving to another Dr.

Besides having the best surgical technique with minimal recovery time, Dr. Hantes is respectful of his patients. Dr. Hantes is the quintessential physician.

Dr.Hantes office is always a wait of at least 30min from your appointment time.Office staff is snobby and suck at communication! Practices are questionable.

Donot go here I never got my dna results back it been a month no call back had a miscarriage the day I came here gave me no clue I was not going to have two baby’s in general they just poped up at 2 and it was so called one at first very unorganized

Called and asked about an appointment,first they left me on hold forever and when they finally answered they were really rude and short, not even trying. I dont even want to go there anymore, I cant even imagine how rude they are in person.
