If anyone is giving 1 star I can only assume its cause theyre grumpy people because when I tell you the BEST staff the BEST doctors the BEST comfort and understanding. I went it full of fear and nerves .. and walked out feeling comfortable and safe . Staff member Rae shes #1

They were all completely rude. All the receptionists and staff. The vibe was off and wasn’t inviting. My boyfriend found this place and claimed they had good reviews. I was anxious being it was my first time you’ll think they’ll be more welcoming. There is protestors outside handing out medical cases gone wrong. Before that I couldn’t find the place I drove up and down everywhere looking because I spoke to two receptionists and they both gave me wrong directions. I only found the place because i saw a tiny flimsy sign in the grass. When I pulled up protestors were trying to deter me from going on of course and was arguing with some other people in the parking lot. I walked inside and they automatically asked if I had an appointment, give them my ID and what type of payment will I be using. No hello, No Goodmorning, or anything. The back area is dark and honestly uneasy. The environment is uneasy. Apparently according to another patient I asked, the doctor had an attitude & slick mouth as well which showed. Dr. Uzi I believe is his name. She said he shoved the tool up with no warning after telling her lay down and open. She said she wouldn’t return if she hadn’t gave them her money already. Which makes sense why they want to collect so fast because it’s non refundable. Which forces you to return. I filled out two sheets on that clip board after reading everything and left. Didn’t even hand them a dollar. I’ll pay whatever for a good experience. My boyfriend agreed.

Came here because of the reviews but walked out due to the vibe. I don’t know if maybe I just came on a off day but I did not feel comfortable at all. The girls in the front was so short & straight to the point. No one even said good morning when I walked in. I felt so rushed to sign paperwork and take my payment. It was just too much, I went somewhere else and had a way more positive experience. I’ll pay the whatever I have to more for great customer service!! I’m so glad other women had a great experience here it just was not mine unfortunately.

Some people are calling on one of their worst days of theyre life. The receptionist Tracey should know that. Calling a place like this is hard enough and instead of helping me answer my questions she lost her patience and was so rude it made me hang up on her. Shame on you Tracey. Women should be helping women but instead you just made an already difficult phone call, a nightmare. I hope no one depends on your care or patience.

My experience was great 💯Had an surgical abortion my first one ever& it Wasn’t painful at allWoke up felling great ..day3 no bleeding no discomfort… a lil cramps nothing majorAfter all yes I definitely recommend this clinic 💯🥰

It was my first time being pregnant and subsequently my first abortion. So undoubted I didn’t have a clue as to what I was doing. The people I spoke to on the phone to make the appointment were nice and knowledgeable and made me an appointment for the very next morning. I went to the Tamarac location and all the nurses and so nice and very informative. A fair warning this location is Busy! I did not get my procedure done for a while but as busy as it was when I arrived in the A.M. it’s understandable.But this place is definitely worth the wait. It was super clean all around the the Doctor was really really gentle and super nice. I was nervous about the pain after the procedure but it was almost nil. At first it felt like strong period cramps but the pain lessened on its own without me taking my pain meds in about an hr after I woke up.I would recommend this place to any woman young or old in need of help. Also the price was right. I originally planned to go to planned parenthood but I am so lucky to have a friend recommend this place and I’m so happy I listened.

This place deserves 10 stars. ALL the women in the office are helpful, knowledgeable, and caring . Any concern I had they took care of it . They are very professional and confidential. It was my first time terminating a pregnancy and I came alone but i definitely didn’t feel alone the nurses made sure I was okay to drive and she even walked me to my car and made sure I turned on my air . The prices are very reasonable and the service are very quick . I have absolutely no pain and no heavy bleeding. Thank you so much Aastra❤️

Very uplifting environment...the staffs are always smiling, they greets you by your name like they have known you forever...wow if I can give this place a 100 stars they deserve it...the doctor was so nice and very professional...if I could go here every time I get sick this would be my primary doctor...wow you all keep up the great work...and keep those beautiful smiles on your faces. I fully recommend any and everyone to this office...

Great experience!!! Everyone was very kind, sweet and patient. I was told what to expect over the phone and it was exactly as stated when I arrived. They tell you the wait is 2-3 hours so just be prepared. However, during that time you will take some tests. The actual procedure I dont even remember because I was sedated and fell asleep within 30 seconds. When I awoke I was in a resting room covered with a blanket. Best experience considering I was very anxious. They made me feel comfortable. Thank you ladies!

10/10 would recommend. I was absolutely terrified about the prospect of having to terminate my pregnancy. The entire process seemed medieval and horrifying. However, from the moment that I first called and spoke with the receptionist/nurse I knew that I would be in great hands. She was energetic, compassionate, knowledgeable, patient and absolutely sweet. The exact can be said about every single other person working at this facility. The doctor was very kind, warm, funny, patient and understanding. The procedure was quick, completely painless and the recovery was spent napping on a recliner in a quiet back room. A nurse came and covered me with a blanket at some point and I felt no pain after waking up or leaving. This was an absolutely positive experience and it literally was 100% because of the beautiful staff at this very clean facility.

This is by far the worse experience I have ever had.They mistakenly scheduled, and never offered an alternative. Brandy the office manager has no customer service skills, and treats patient in the most disrespectful way I have ever seen. She intentionally hung up the phone without providing any sort of resolution, and then her staff hung up when I called back. I would never recommend anyone to come to this place. Im sure the doctor there is great, but the staff there needs to take customer service training 101. If the owner actually reads their reviews, I would be embarrassed on how my staff handled this situation especially my administration.

I would 100% recommend this place. I went in yesterday for a surgical termination and they made me feel so comfortable. They explained all the steps that were gonna happen. And once the procedure was done,I only spent 15 minutes in the recovery room. Expect to be at Aastra for a couple hours. They will keep pulling you to the back and put you back in the waiting room for things like blood test, urine sample, vaginal ultrasound, blood pressure. It was an easy process to go through though. Once they put you under twilight sedation, you more than likely wont remember anything.

Very good place. Great team of warm kind and experienced people who make you feel really comfortable. Everything is explained to you. The clinic is safe, clean. Procedure is very quick and you are sedated so you do not feel anything…(at least in my case).The doctor is a very friendly man. Their prices are very reasonable too.I highly recommend this place.

I would 100% recommend Aastra Womens Clinic to anyone woman that needs to seek services. They are discreet, friendly, respectful and very caring. I did not have one single issue with the service and care I received. They did not prod me and they 100% did not judge my choice. In a nation where female reproductive rights are sadly and heavily regulated I am so happy they are available in my community. They explained everything i needed to know and didnt just try to rush me out the door. I do not at all regret making my visit here.

I went here yesterday for a surgical termination. I had an appointment at 11:45 and was out by 1:30. The staff is pretty nice for the most part but they were very busy so every process was super rushed. I took one star off because the nurses who took my blood were extremely impatient. My veins are very thin, I always require the tiniest butterfly and wherever I give blood (usually at Quest) the phlebotomist has to spend several minutes locating a vein. The first nurse tried for less than 30 seconds before calling another nurse who tried even less, complained about me being one of the difficult ones and then stuck the needle in the top of my hand and dug around for a vein with the needle. I felt so uncomfortable during that experience and started feeling very nervous about the procedure. When I got in the procedure room, I was so anxious that I started crying immediately after laying down but the doctor was friendly and told jokes to distract me until I was sedated. He had great bedside manner. Next thing I remember was waking up in a dark room, fully dressed with a blanket over me in absolutely no pain, even today (next day). Overall I would recommend.

I dont know why the first review is so bad, Im very happy I didnt go by that. Everyone was very nice and very informative. I had no problems with the service. The facilities looked a little bit suspect but everything I saw seemed to be clean. I got an appointment scheduled quickly and didnt have to wait long like most doctor offices.

For an experience so emotional, had a d unforgettable, I can say this play made it a comfortable one. All the staff are nice and down to earth. No one is judging you. They explain everything. Any questions you have will be answered. I recommend this place if this is the route you want to go. They also offer other services so dont leave this place out thinking its only for one thing. Thank you to everyone who made me feel at ease with something I was a wreck about.

Hi this was my first time coming here and I felt very comfortable and they were very understanding. I not gonna lie I was really nervous but they helped me out a lot maybe one thing I didn’t like was the protest outside but other then that everything went I give this place a 10 out of 10 I hope this help

I dont know what these last reviews are talking about because I took my gf there and the experience was the best. When they called me to pick her up she told me how wonderful the nurses and doctor treated her and when we went to talk to the counselor and she explained to us everything that would happen and my gf as well as myself were very satisfied. They deserve 5 stars

In my experience at Aastra Womens Center, I was most amazed in how well these women worked together. They were patient, resourceful, attentive, informative amd most importantly respectful. They worked in a timely matter to get things done. I would highly recommend this center to anyone.

My experience here was good. Dr Rodriguez was nice spoke you through the procedure and most of the women help put your mind at ease. It was Minimal pain and discomfort. I’m happy i chose this facility

Great People. All the ladies at this clinic were very nice to me. They explained exactly what to expect and everything went as planned. This was a hard decision for me personally, but I felt completely comfortable there. I would recomend Aastra to any friend of mine.

Love this place. So kind. So informative. They also dont put up with any kind of aggression towards anyone. Men who accompany their partners must show ID. Men and anyone not seeing the doctor is asked to stand if they get busy. They have ample seating but with supportive escorts in can be cramped. They offer traditional gynecology services. They are extremly knowledgable and helpful about any question about anything. So speak up. Do not knock on the window they know you are there but value everyons privacy. If someone else is paying for your care they must be present to show id matching the credit or debit card or bring cash. Im in between regular gynos. I decided to seek out Astra because I had such a great experience with their care previously in a pinch that Im using them in between regular Gyno!!!!!

Very well organized at this center... very friendly and professional.. went for termination or pregnancy and nurses make you feel comfortable and clam.. i gave this center a 5 star cause they answered all my questions i had.. this place is full of knowledge and loving staff..i would definitely go back.. and prices were very affordable as well..

The most unprofessional and GHETTO medical assistance or nurses are on EARTH! It’s ashame these women are even working there! I tried to ask for the address and the prices to write down and while the woman named “KEY” (maybe short for Keyanna) gave me an attitude I tried to stay calm. She did not like the fact that I was asking her to repeat the prices and weeks and address so I could write it don’t. I explained to her that I was new to the area she also said I had to be there in 30 mins I said that’s fine I live in plantation and she began to be VERY DISMISSIVE and RUDE when she didn’t have to be. It was the weirdest thing.

My experience went well. It was quick with minimal pain. I felt understood, heard and unjudged. Thank you to the team who took care of me.

They are fantastic they are very nicely friendly patience high recommended. I love the manger she helped me so much it was great experience with them they take a little long but is worth it

All patients can see their sonograms ahead of time and noone is pushed into anything...EVER! The Clinic is off the main road and is quiet and very clean. There are male doctors ...and anyone that asks is told that. Patients are treated kindly and if you are scared or cry....THATS OK! Call them and decide for yourself.

When I first arrived it wasnt as discreet as people made it out to be . When I arrived I felt like I was at a half way house may be because they were busy or what not but the MA missed my veins twice and I have great veins, so the doctor had to do it which he used no gloves and I HAD TO ASK HIM TO USE IT a nurse student myself that was a turn off to me. When I went back the next day to pick up my pills she had no idea who I was and wanted to give me the wrong ones until I had to clarify who and what I was there for mind you she got loud with me because I should concern for her not knowing who I was an I asked clarification on how to use the pill she screamed it loud enough for those in the waiting room to hear regardless if some of us are here for the same reason there is a line of respect that must be demanded. . All in all I feel as an African American supporting other businesses predominantly black they did not have any professionalism and I feel more as if Im a number I get it you see women in and 0ut of the place but for some this is a delicate situation and we our all here for different reasons. SO ITS A NO FOR ME THEY WERE MY LAST RESORT AND WILL NEVER BE AN OPTION AGAIN. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND KEEP SEARCHING FOR QUALITY INSTEAD OF A PLACE TREATING YOU LIKE QUANITY. I NEVER WROTE A REVIEW ON A PLACE BUT IM REALLY TRYING TO PROTECT A FEW THA WILL LISTEN THANK YOU. IF you read this please do better.

Ive used this office twice and both times were no trouble and professional, and friendly. So if your pro choice and want a good priced not too expensive procedure, then this is a good one. I think so anyway.

Great place, for the person who said imagine them telling me not to eat... it was for your own safety, working in surgery I know that eating before any procedure is dangerous and can cause you to vomit and aspirate your vomit so if the only complaint was not eating, guess what? It was for your safety, and for those that eat anyway before this just know you are putting yourself at risk

Very personable and kind staff. 4 stars only because its longer wait on a Saturday. Been here more than once. They respect your privacy and arent judgemental. Costs were reasonable.

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER❗️❗️I came to this office February 16, 2019 with an 10:45 appointment... They gave me a pregnancy test to confirm my pregnancy, After sitting in the recovery room waiting to have a ultrasound taken about 15 mins later someone comes in and brings me into a room. They did a vaginal ultrasound on me and the lady explained to me that she can see “FOUR FEET” I’m immediately panicking because that means I was pregnant with twins and told me that Thw baby in the left sack was “15 weeks and 6 days” while the baby in the right sack was just 15 weeks... I asked her to check again because I know those weeks don’t add up with my dates... I know my body. She then does another ultrasound using my stomach instead of the vagina, and she confirms what she says when I ask for the pocuture of the ultrasound she tells me and I quote “Our machine is outdated and we can only take a picture of one baby at a time” she gives Brandy the office manager my ultrasound and brandy agreed with her that i was well over 15 weeks pregnant. I decided to go to a doctor near where I resident at on the date of MARCH 4th, 2019!!!! When I go to this doctor they give me a ultrasound and show me ONE BABY, ONE SACK and tell me that I am just 15 weeks a three days. Almost 3 weeks later from my visit at this unprofessional clinic a doctor tells me that I am 15 weeks and 3 days pregnant with one baby when on February 16,2019 I was described as 15 weeks and 6 days pregnant with twins. They were very unprofessional the recovery room they have for women is 5 chairs and a twin mattress A FILTHY TWIN MATTRESS... The health department should be called. This place deserves to be shut down

This office is honestly worth 10 Stars theres honestly nothing negative I could say about this office from the doctors to the nurses they all were amazing I feel right at home in as if I was speaking to friends and family instead of nurses and doctors Ive never felt so comfortable in this type of atmosphere before the doctor in his office is truly amazing hes so patient the sweetest doctor ever I cant remember all the nurses names but all you ladies I truly amazing very professional and they just made it so comfortable and that much easier to go through and deal with thank you so much I know you guys go through a lot with the protesters in all but its still great to see that you havent let that affect the way you work and handle your patience I appreciate it each and every last one of you for all your help and guidance and great conversations I dont know the doctor name so Imma call you Grandpa thank you Grandpa you are amazing at what you do and you always make me feel comfortable and that everything is going to be alright I honestly cant thank you guys enough and I really appreciate the amazing service you gave me peace and love to you all thank you

Was going to give this place 5 stars because everyone doctor included were nice. But qhile i was sedated they someone stole money out of my wallet. I tried to call back and was placed pn hold for and hung up on. Dont kick people when they down. Please leave ur belongings with ur ride if u can

I just left with a wonderful experience the woman there are so friendly ,helpful and kind I with being back to continue getting my check ups her and my birth control this is the place to go as a female you just feel no judgment and safe !!!!!!!

Horrible horrible horrible, this is a money making lab! Imagine being pregnant and told to not eat before an 10am appointment, theres only one doctor who doesnt arrive until 11:30am and theres already an overpacked lobby full of women waiting to be seen by this one doctor?! Be prepared to wait at least 3 hours for a procedure that should take no more than an half an hour.

Nice and friendly staff, nice doctor, I only remember getting sedation meds and waking up in the recovery room! Thanx for making this experience ok to deal with!

If you’re looking for a place in miami to get the procedure done i’d highly recommend aastras women clinic ,the employees here are very kind and caring trying to make the process as easy and comfortable(and pretty quick ) as possible , i’m grateful/glad i chose here

The person who serves was super rude and ill-mannered. I asked him if he didnt have someone who spoke Spanish and instead of just saying no and thats it... he said bad words to me and yelled at me!!! I dont know much English but I know when someone is saying bad words!!! What bad taste people have with that attitude, that is discrimination and is punishable.
