Dr. Matos is amazing but shes very direct and not everyones cup of tea. She is incredibly honest and wont sugarcoat. The wait is long, but she also takes her time with every patient and also builds a rapport. You will never see her and feel rushed. I usually schedule first apt of the day and in my head block out a total of 2 hours. To me, shes worth the wait and I appreciate how direct she is. I would recommend for anyone who appreciates full transparency.

Change of Insurance warranted a chsnge in doctors. Extremely impressed with the efficiency, treatment and care at this office. Dr Valderrama is thorough, caring and kind. Her staff is top notch! No wait, they keep your appointment time without unnecessary wasted time. Very impressed and satisfied with the professional care at this office.From receptionist, nurse practitioner to doctor, all excellent!

All around, a horrible experience. Upon entering, the dirty waiting room chairs are an indicator of what was to come.After a lengthy wait, I was lead to the Dr office which stood out as cluttered. After a brief talk, Dr. Matos pulled out her cell phone to take a picture of me. Upon telling her that I am not comfortable with her taking a picture (the office already has the my drivers license image on file which she had open on her screen), she got increasingly irritated and started an argument with me over not wanting her to take a picture of me on her cell phone. After finally getting over this topic, and, giving her another chance, I entered the exam room that was shockingly filthy, see attached images. There were dust bunnies, pieces of paper and plastic on the floor and a layer of dust all over the counter and furniture. After Dr Matos exited the room, I heard her loudly airing her grievances about me being uncomfortable with her taking a picture. I have NEVER been treated this poorly by any doctor. Furthermore, I have NEVER seen a doctors office as filthy as this one. Needless to say that I opted to change OBGYNs that second.

Ive enjoyed all my visits here to Jane Matos over the years. I personally would recommend this office and her. If youre pregnant though, you have to go see an obgyn instead, this office is great for everything else though.

The receptionist was rude. I called three times. Twice they put me on hold right away and never picked back up. The time I was able to talk to someone, they hung up on me before I was finished with my questions.

Stay away from this clinic at all costs!!! Trust the reviews!!! Please find another clinic! This one star review is long overdue. If I could leave no stars I would. Lets start with when I first scheduled my appointment they told me they took my insurance which when I got to my appointment it turns out they did not take my insurance So I had to change my insurance in order to continue going to them but that should have been my first red flag that they waited until the day of my appointment to tell me they dont take my insurance. All of this to get an IUD: they Require a ultrasound Before they will insert the IUD which cannot be done in the same day so you have to wait a couple months before you can get your IUD. you cant get your IUD until you get your period so they schedule it with your period so its estimated. then they call me to ask me which IUD i want the day before my appointment and then tell me they dont have it and have to cancel. This place is awful, Ive been waiting 4 months for this day and I couldnt be more angry and disappointed with the service. Horrible.

I came here for an annual check up only. The doctor who did the check up was super nice however i got charged for extra lab work I did not request for. I tried solving the issue for over 3 months with the doctors office just waiting for a response only to have a receptionist be really nasty on the phone. The first few times I called the office the receptionist I spoke with were as helpful as they could be but this last receptionist was super unhelpful and needs to take a few classes on customer service. She kept telling me their is nothing they can do even though it was their doctor who requested for lab work I didn’t ask for. Now I am getting charged for something I didn’t request for. This is not an issue with the lab or my insurance…this is an issue with the doctors office. I will never come here again! Have to tread lightly when it comes to any kind of healthcare.

If i could give 0 stars I would. MA staff was very rude. My appt has been scheduled for weeks and im called the day before to be notified thatvny appointment may need to be rescheduled because they say i have an insurance that i dont have. I called the insurance company and did a conference call with the MA staff to show proof i didnt have the insurance they stated i have. I asked them just to document it in my chart so the person who does insurance could see that they were able to verify and give them a reference number. The MA (Tanaje(spelling may be incorrect) ) passed the phone to another MA who was very rude and continuously talked over me and the representative from the insurance company, the insurance company recorded the conversation abd even stated she couldnt believe how rude she was. I asked to speak to an office manager and to an administrative staff member and was told they didnt have either, the only person to speak with is in Orlando. How is that beneficial to your patients? All i asked was for them to document a note in the chart that they spoke to the insurance representative for the insurance personnel to be able to view it and follow up. Looking at the reviews i will definitely seek a different provider. You can tell this isnt the first time this MA has been rude because with each phone call the MA that answered handed off the phone to this specific person. Please be mindful of how you treat people especially in healthcare where youre suppose to show compassion to those who need your assistance. If healthcare is not what you enjoy or youre having a bad day dont take it out on the patients. Thats one reason a lot of people dont seek assistance now because of how they are treated by the ones who are suppose to be a part of their healthcare TEAM.

I was supposed to go for my third annual appointment with Dr. Matos in December but I finally realized that this isn’t the place for me. I have PCOS and I’m overweight. I don’t have physical health issues other than my pcos but my mental health is severe. When I went for my first appointment three years ago, the doctor told me I have to change my entire diet and lifestyle in order to lose over 100lbs in a year. I was only 19 and thought everything was drastic but she was the doctor so she should know. I had an extremely tough year battling depression and unfortunately I didn’t lose any weight. The following year for my annual, the first thing she said to me was “I told you to lose weight not gain weight. You can’t make everything about your mental health, you have to think about your physical health too”. This was so shocking to me because never in my life has a professional spoken to me in this way. Then I started to ask about the possibilities of getting an IUD instead of birth control pills because the side effects were too much for me. I realized she is old school and is very against IUDs and didn’t even want to hear anything else from me. The only reason I give a 2 star was because I never felt uncomfortable during my Pap smear and ultrasounds, but everything else sucks. Not to mention you will receive endless calls and bills even if you pay in full during your visit because their billing team can’t keep up. Also, they lost my blood work THREE times in one year and had to retake my blood each time. Never going back

I met with Dr Matos for the 1st time and was amazed how friendly and personable she was. She met with me in her office before my exam to see what was going on with me. We talked about our families and other things. My Friend for work referred me to her. After my exam she explained what follow up were needed and what to expect. Another appointment was scheduled for an office procedure. She is so meticulous about her patients, she called to let me know the findings of my first routine exam and her recommendations. What awesome woman she is. She really cares about her patients. I will recommend her to others.Satisfied customer.

You will wait and wait …I don’t recommended this office or doctor for personal reasons based on my experience there. However, yesterday really sealed the deal and I plan on finding a new obgyn asap.I had a medical issue after hours and called and asked to speak to dr.Matos. She returned my call and simply stated , “ call your primary care physician, that’s their issue” and hung up. The issue is obgyn or primary care. I called my primary ( who did get back to me the next day) and had no problem writing me the script. However, I had to go to urgent care that same evening since I was in pain and I had to wait two hours to be seen. Dr Matos could have easily helped me by calling in the medication since I am her patient but she clearly didn’t care enough nor could she take five minutes to help. Absolutely horrible patient service .

My previous Dr. here retired and now I am being seen by Dr. Lydia Valderrama, and Im very pleased. She was wonderful. Very kind, personable, knowledgeable, and she took her time with me as a new patient with her. I really appreciate this.

This doctor did not make me feel safe or heard. She also wasn’t respectful of my religious beliefs or willing to listen to me as the patient. But the all important question of the day was: what are your pronouns? I won’t be coming back again. Nope. It’s a no. Terrible doctor. The worst I’ve been to in a long time. Arrogant, too.

Dr Matos is awesome, she takes the time out to really listen to you to help solve your issues the professional and healthy way, will not go to anyone else…

Do not recommend it. The doctor is unprofessional

It’s annoying that they leave you waiting so long on the phone to be attended to. If you receive many calls, hire more people. The people who answer the PHONE are very rude.

It took a month to get an appointment here I had an appointment at 11:30 I showed up on time I waited an hour and 45 minutes and I still havent been seen yet then they go to lunch if I known this is how they treat their patients I would have never wasted my time its disrespectful time is one thing you never get back

Wait time for the doctor is absolutely horrible. I have never waited this long to see a doctor. These are emergency room wait times.

Dr. mattos is very kind and friendly, I highly recommended her.
