Went in for an in clinic procedure. I was there *maybe* 4 hours. Quick and efficient service on all parts. I appreciated the politeness of each person I encountered during my appointment! Rosa especially was an angel, and made me feel extremely comfortable by answering all of my questions with a smile. They also helped tremendously with my financial situation. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for options.

I took a friend here. She literally was there from 9:20 am until 4:55pm. That’s a work shift . It’s ridiculous we had to wait on her that long . But they got the job done after all that time .

When I say the staff was amazing..they were just that. They me feel comfortable from start to finish. Very thankful for them making a good experience for me. Great staff!

Honestly I was considering abortion but thank God I didn’t go through with it . I feel the whole staff was rude from down to the people who sit up at the front and get you checked in . They seem to have attitudes.. I felt supper uncomfortable here I got up and just walked clean out without saying anything . Even the medical assistants that poked my finger were rude . Didn’t like the facility at all

This place is nothing but amazing I say that in the most respectful way . Their team is so elite from their receptionist Tyree who assisted from the beginning to my appointment , the ultrasound tech , can’t forget the 2 women who led me from room to room , Mrs.Vanessa , and everyone in the surgery room and the sweet lady when I finished surgery I applaud you all and your wonderful customer service thank you dearly !!!! I highly recommend you made this process secure & easy thank you so much .

Such a beautiful place and staff, can’t complain about hygiene/cleanness and the staffs natural caring personality. They show so much care and kindness towards the patients and the process they treat it with such care and respect. They really made my visit easy.

Front desk staff, ultrasound nurse and doctor were very kind to me and non-judgemental. I would give 5 stars had I not experienced such nastiness from the nurse who inserted my IV. She pricked me (incorrectly) 3 times! She was very rough and yelling for me not to move when it was not only clear to me that I wasn’t moving but obvious to the doctor (Dr. Carr) as well. I believe she is inexperienced or simply very unprofessional—either way I ended up leaving with enlarged veins in my wrist due to her inserting the IV needle so roughly… I have no idea what her name is but she was Indian, had glasses, thick accent and very short. I would recommend her immediate termination; I can honestly say that I believe she doesn’t need to insert needles into anyone’s arm without termination or at the very least further training and practice on a balloon or something. I wouldn’t want what happened to me to happen to someone else. Other than her, my experience was beautiful. The others were very supportive.

Everyone was great, kind, and explained every step of the way. I will recommend 1000x. I came from out of town by myself and still felt safe. Thank you for making such a difficult situation for any woman a smooth one.

All of the staff were lovely and made a not easy time a little bit better, my only complaint is the lady who took me back before my procedure started was a little bit rude. she did not tell me when she was going to stick me, yanked my legs up into the leg rest and sat on her phone while waiting for the crna and nurse to start the procedure. which was uncomfortable because i’m just in a gown and nothing else which is just unprofessional in my opinion.

Josie, Kathy, Natalie, Clare, Petra, Dr Hoffman, Aida, Alex, and of course Liz. Thank you for all of the support and kindness during this process. I had a D&E surgery at 18 weeks and the first portion Clare talked me through everything while I was crying in pain. However Roseanne was EXTREMELY rude, I’m not sure if she just didn’t feel like being there. But she didn’t acknowledge what I was saying and was short with me during the actual procedure while I was crying and in pain. The only time she seemed to joke was when she wanted Clare to “hurry up” so she could get the procedure over. As for the pain it was manageable with acetaminophen and ibuprofen. But the second day was extremely difficult since I couldn’t take anything and I started crying again. The assistant then was SO sweet (I didn’t catch her name) but she gave me blankets and held my hand while I cried. Finally Liz came in to see me and I was really happy. She was the same nurse who was there for me the first time during my D&E surgery. Absolute gem, hugged me, reassured me, listened to my crazy morality rant, and overall just treated me well along with Aida and Alex.I am only giving this review 4 stars cause if Roseanne, but everyone ESPECIALLY Liz and Clare were so kind to me. I could not ask for better service for such a difficult and painful decision. I will come here as often as I can, despite my insurance not covering it. It’s worth every penny out of pocket.

Super rude they refused to give me service….I call to ask for service and they say you must come before 4pm I did arrived 3:20pm but they send me back because I had my 6mos old baby an daughter ..the thing is that I Call 2 times and they didn’t provide that important information..this facility is not children friendly.

I felt comfortable walking through the door very welcoming and understanding staff their care and safety for you is top priority. I really felt like I was in good hands . My first time walking into a place for my care and my last they left a good memory thank you !

All the nurses and staff are really nice and professional. Definitely recommend this place!!!

I had a lovely experience here. I felt extremely supported by all the staff. My only complaint is the change in appointment time from day to day. For me it wasn’t an issue but for others traveling from far away I can see how that would be frustrating. I especially appreciate a woman named Liz for helping me feel more comfortable with my decision post surgery. Bless you all!

A great place and friendly staff EXCEPT the ABDOMINAL ULTRASOUND WOMAN ! I wanted to be sure if my pregnancy passed and she get the yapping off saying it’s the same results. Like it was a problem me wanting a second opinion seems like she didn’t want to do her job , then so rude she put gel on my stomach and didn’t give me nothing to wipe with just walked her mean self out . Like why are you mad I’m the one who going through this. The Vaginal Ultrasound lady today was the greatest thank you .

Highly recommend here!! My whole appointment was 3 hrs, mostly filled with paperwork. They did a lot of precautionary work, so I didn’t mind filling out everything and waiting after each step. Everybody from the front desk to the CRNA was very nice. I mean EVERYBODY. They made my experience VERY comfortable, easy, and informative. I didn’t feel judged at all. My only negative would be the waiting room before the procedure. It’s so dark , gloomy, and depressing. No way to change the tv. Overall 9/10. Thanks so much!!

Very grateful that I chose this place out of all the other options. The entire staff was very friendly and made me feel supported. It was fairly quick, I was there for 2 hours. It was also cheaper than other places (without insurance). Person on the phone was also nice and so were the escorts. There were no protestors outside, thankfully. I expected much worse, and I’m so thankful that it was not the horrible experience I thought it would be.

I would give the staff 10 if I could! I truly thank everyone who helped me, from the front desk to nurses to doctors, was amazing to me

Amazing place, lovely and genuinely kind people. My first time coming here, I was very nervous and emotionally uncertain because the decision I made was a big one. Theyre extremely dedicated to making sure you feel safe and comfortable, that youre there by your own choice, and are happy to answer any and all questions to make sure you know whats happening. They always offer to go over options of birth control with you but never try to guilt or pressure you. Its extremely heartbreaking and intimidating to see any protesters outside, because the way this place and the people working here are far from evil and do not deserve any of that harassment.

I was very worried and nervous visiting this office. My blood pressure was sky high because it always happens any time I go to doctors because I have white coat phenomena. Unfortunately, I was assigned the nurse Angel. She did not try to help or make things better. As soon as she walked in she was kinda condescending and not nice. She was like you know your meds arent working! And I tried to explain the situation to her. She wasnt having it and refused me services. I went to my pcp and she even wrote a letter saying Im fine. I went back to FPA the following week where they again gave me Angel. She was the same and refused to help me. I hate to give this clinic a low score knowing theyre helping many people with limited options but I have to go based on my experience and it wasnt good. I think Angel should have to take a course on bedside manners. If you have anxiety, or white coat phenomena like me, dont go there because they wont help you and will waste your time. Good luck.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My doctor and nurses made me feel safe and calm during the whole 3 day process. I would definitely recommend this exact location to all of my friends and family who are seeking help. Seriously these people are angels sent from heaven. ❤️🤍

The staff was extremely nice and took really good care of me. I thought after almost 9 months of getting the abortion procedure I could relieve my thoughts finally on how the nurses calmed me down from crying afterwards.I will never forget that day when all the nurses were so friendly and made sure I was okay!

I flew all the way from canada because I hand picked this place thinking they were more professional than the options I had. I went through their entire process and also paid for an extra ultrasound when they already received an updated ultrasound from the hospital near me. After all of this and 2 days worth of going back and forth they decided to say they would not do the procedure on me because they felt uncomfortable. I wasted a lot of time and money going to a place that simply could have told me everything over a phone conversation.

I’ve actually been to this location several times. All for different reasons. The treatment I’ve received from all staff has always been warm and welcoming, like they all care and are all compassionate. I live an hour away, but only choose this location because they’ve always treated me respectfully and I’ve always felt like I’ve mattered. The nurse practitioners here are all well knowledgeable about what’s going on in all aspects. I can’t speak for everybody, as we all experience different situations and scenarios. It just all boils down to how you treat a person and how you want to be treated back.

The environment is extremely welcoming and professional, very clean as well and the location wasnt difficult to get too. The staff is very good at getting you in quickly after you sign in also. The staff is WONDERFUL! And I think this is the biggest part. Not only are the extremely welcoming but they are also very comforting. At first I was nervous, but the ladies there took any fear I had away. I cannot stress enough for wonderful the staff is here. I did not encounter one person who wasnt smiling. They are very good at making you feel at ease and comfortable. Rose, the ultrasound tech, is an amazing woman who is completely understanding and extremely nice. She talks you threw everything and answers every question. Overall I will be recommending FPA to any woman without a doubt. I am super happy with my choice of clinic. Thank you all for being so wonderful and awesome at your jobs!

All of the staff there is so friendly and they make you feel extremely comfortable. There was not a long wait and they are super supportive of you whatever your needs may be at the time. They dont judge you or persuade you to do anything. I thought I would have a bad experience but there was so much support and compassion from the staff. One staff member was even cracking jokes making me laugh so I wouldnt feel scared. I would recommend this place to anyone no matter what your reason for coming in is. Just an overall good experience.

This was the most difficult decision of my entire life. That being said, this place really helped make it a more bearable one. They are so courteous, kind, professional and like angels, from the people who help escort you from your car to the door (there may be protesters fyi), to the actual Doctor who performed the procedure and of course all the nurses and staff along the way. They answer any and all questions and are extremely supportive. They are also very cognizant of and helpful in relieving your physical pain. On top of that, the facility is very clean. I will never allow myself to be in this position again, but if you currently are and don’t know where to go, this is an excellent choice.

Ive been here twice already and I have to say my experience has been amazing. Everyone from the nurses to MAs to the doctors are the most caring understanding people. They make you feel so comfortable and safe. Its very relaxed and very organized. This is the place to go for any and all services. They really are the best! Im very glad that I went here.

I had an appointment with them set for 1:30 didn’t get seen until about 2:45 going on 3 p.m all for them just to refuse my appointment because im AFRICAN AMERICAN, and they don’t like the way things sound when we talk. This place is racist all the staff were racist and also had two other people said they went through kind of the same thing they were African American as well, they said they tried to do the same thing with them only difference was the other girls cried their way to keep their appointments which we should have not to do because of our skin color.

Oh my gosh this was the best care i have ever experienced in my life for an outpatient procedure. The staff in the whole entire building were awesome. They are very nice, caring, patient and very informative informative. If you are a woman or a young lady seeking advice or medical treatment i recommended family planning. They were an amazing staff even the doctor i saw.

The greatest clinic I’ve ever been to if I could give it beyond five stars I would just because of the great hospitality, and the fact that they treat you like your choices are so important! Would never recommend anyone I love to go anywhere but here!

Clean place and it’s pretty fast. If I was to ever go back, I would go to Planned Parenthood instead. Both places do different protocols but same procedure of course. And the place doesn’t cover getting an IUD inserted for birth control. I was more comfortable and less in pain at PP. but thanks FPA for service.

I couldn’t say enough good things about this clinic! I normally don’t take the time out to write reviews but I just wanted to express my contentness with my visit today. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out I felt nothing but safe, assured, cared for, and taken care of. Each and every one of the staff members I accountered had a smile on their face and seemed as if they loved their job which was nice to see. The ultra sound tech was super nice and made me feel more than comfortable. I never for a second felt judged which was a huge relief because its already a situation that takes toll on you physically, mentally, and emotionally. It makes me feel good knowing women have a place they can go to that is overall safe and effective. I highly recommend this place if you ever find yourself in a “situation” that you do not want to be in anymore. (I was there for 2 hours and 15 minutes which I thought was fairly decent considering I know it can be a lengthy process).

They are so caring and friendly here. I regained faith in humanity after being treated so well here. Never would have thought it. Thank you so much for a non-judgemental, warm, caring experience. They provide after care as well. This staff is not just there for a job. They believe in their mission and do the best for their patients.

This place is absolutely amazing I have made multiple appointments and have had to cancel and each time the staff was very sweet and understanding and rescheduled according to my time each time. They’re very explanatory with your needs and make sure you have an understanding of your situation the guy at the front desk and the nurses in the back are all extremely professional and caring couldn’t have picked a better place!

The staff were very friendly. I thought I would be there long due to my reason for coming but I was in and out very quickly. All rooms are clean with a fresh smell. It was my first time there & I would go back if needed. Definitely recommend this place.

I just got my vaccum aspiration with general anesthesia- so I was fully asleep done today. I think that was a good choice I made because I was going with the pill option, but they let me change it when I arrived and took me still. I was very indecisive and nervous and scared, but they all were patient with me. I just wish more proper information was given beforehand, like a consultation and some professional would explain about all procedures that are available rather us picking and searching on the website and telling them what we want which led to my indecisiveness and anxiety. They also have a process there that made you feel like a number, taking women one by one and the environment seemed all so serious to me.All employees were patient there though, the only one employee that gave me almost a full blown anxiety attack was--right when I got into the surgery room, the older lady with dark brown/reddish hair and glasses that was first there to set up my IV and take my blood pressure was so rude and looked like she hated her job, she jerked my arm and put IV in me and put the tubes around my nose for the sedation with a attitude, she moved my hair on my shoulders to the side aggressively with her hands, like kind of slapped it away to the back very rudely on both sides. She also jerked my legs when I put them up into the leg rests for the surgery as they were very spread apart. She just had bad vibes and handled me rudely/aggressively and her tone of voice had a attitude. The place where the IV incision she put in also bled a lot too when I took the cotton ball out at the end. I want to feel like I can trust these employees that I am giving myself and my body to. But when she was setting me up in this rude and aggressive manner, I literally started panicking inside and had to take deep breaths because I started to not trust her with her attitude and the way she was treating me, it threw me off when everyone else was so patient with me. I wish I spoke up at then and called her out, but I was more focused on keeping myself calm and getting through this whole thing ASAP. Also, once the anesthesian and the doctor came in (they were sweet and that calmed my nerves, they seemed like floating angels coming to save my life) that first ladys attitude changed in front of them to seem like shes nice-faking it, she ruined the experience, someone needs to check on her. I didnt like how I was treated by her.For the vaccum aspiration procedure itself, I didnt feel the procedure itself because I was asleep and after I woke up, it just felt like regular period cramps and i went along with my day, the procedure was very easy going then I thought.FYI- I am using a fake name here to protect my identity

Extremely rude , staff is very racist , had me in the office for almost 2 hours just to say they didn’t want to keep my appointment. The Manager and CEO were very dismissive and horrible to me because I asked if I was required to stay for the 2 hours after the procedure.

I cant stress enough how kind everyone at FPA is. Everyone is so sweet and super concerned with your well being and give very good advice. Extremely patient and answer all the billions of questions you have with a straightforward answer. Theyre sweet and make small talk with you and make you feel comfortable. They provide feminine products as well as heating pads in case you forget your own. I couldnt have gotten through this without their support. I really felt safe here.

I was terrified and couldn’t stop crying. Nobody made me feel like a crybaby, and nobody made me feel bad about my decision. Everybody was just very welcoming and helpful. Had very little cramps afterwards, I am so grateful for all the work that these angels provide

They were pretty rude to me... I felt uneasy the entire time and it felt like I couldnt ask any questions without getting a crappy attitude back from the staff that helped me. Even on the phone. There was one lady who was actually really sweet and caring so I went to her for most of the questions I had.The only real plus was that it isnt too far away from where I live.

Absolutely incredible. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic, especially the Washington Blvd. location. The staff is wonderful, caring, polite, understanding, and more; it felt as if we had known those nurses for years. They are doing an incredible job at what they are doing; I feel 100% assured that my friend was cared for during her surgical abortion, and I was listened to as well. Please make FPA Chicago your first choice when seeking an abortion.

On my visit to washington blvd planned parenthood was the best service i had. They were making sure you are taken care of and they confort you. All the people there are so nice they listen and help you so much. All the other places you go to treats you like garbage but this place made sure you are comfortable and is there with you every step. I wanted to thank the staff.

Very good place to come to when your in that situation i would have been so lost if i didnt find this place. I had my procedure done for free a few days ago. I want to say thanks to the staff and doctor for helping me thru a very hard and dark time in my life with, being very nice, non judgemental, caring and professional. They really made me feel at ease and gave me great support immediately after my procedure in the recovery room Thanks alot!

Now I think there are two different locations in one. One for the pill and the other for the in clinic. I can only speak on the pill. They are the most compassionate people, on and ahead of schedule. I couldn’t have asked for a better support staff. The process was easy. The worst part was my anxiety before. Thank you FFP!

Incompetent, unprofessional, and not compassionate. Cannot answer simple questions about their medications, cannot explain procedure steps, cannot inform of anesthesia route. Does not provide adequate follow up care. Medical assistants lack refinement in their roles. These people came to work for a check, not because they gave a d**n about you. They want to get you in and out of their butcher shop in a timely manner.

Even though the circumstances weren’t idea they made sure I was comfortable. The process was pretty quick. They were very informative and welcoming. Highly recommend over a planned parenthood. Also way more affordable than planned parenthood

They did not complete their job. I had to have surgery to get the rest of what they left, and I had to have 3 blood transfusions because I almost bled out to death!! DO NOT Recommend!!!

Just go to Plan Parenthood. Appointment started at 11:45 and left Around 5 PM For a procedure That only took 15 minutes. The lady couldn’t get an IV in my hand, she stuck me five times even after I told her I have a great Vein in my other arm. After I woke up from anesthesia I was literally rushed out. I was being sent home with no medication, just told to take simple ibuprofen, which did nothing by the way. Just overall a bad experience

I made my appointment @ 10:00AMRECEPTIONIST said “procedure takes 4-6 HOURS”I had to wait since 10:00AM to 2:00PM just to get blood work so basically produce only takes about 1 hour or 2. So why make us make appointments ?Not being able to eat or drink anything since the night before all the way until I was done. It just doesn’t make sense why do we have to wait if we made APPOINTMENT.Managers need to take care of this.

Today I had a appointment plan and I was nervous don’t get me wrong but they didn’t make me feel relax at all. A staff member said I threaten her when I was in the room. Before I left out no one said I couldn’t come back. Which was odd because that wasn’t what happen. Their unprofessional and not concern of their patients.

Staff is rude. Especially the nurses. The only doctor that was nice was the one who actually performed my procedure. The CRNA was very nice. The facility is over all nice and clean but the staff is rude. And gives misinformation.

Ive been to this place twice. I regret the experience, not because of anyone in particular but because of the constant reminders of why I came here. I would like to say to women make sure that this is what you really want before actually following through with it.~~

Uh receptionist started mimicking my voice and just wanted to hear herself talk. I can’t stand when an associate takes all your time teaching you everything about their job and avoiding answering your actual questions. Answering imaginary questions you never asked. You’re supposed to listen and respond that’s ur job. Not talking. Talking is not your job. You make people forget what they were thinking by doing whatever your not supposed to do. Only one girl gave me this problem here but it happens at every business it’s stupid!

These are the greatest nurses, physicians, and clinicians ever. They took great care of me after my surgery providing me with plenty of food and water . They ask questions and answered all questions I had. I would definitely recommend this place .

I visited the clinic on Friday 5th 2023 I I do not live in Chicago, so I travel from Indiana, and I received the best hospitality ever I will most definitely recommend this clinic ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Although the reason I visited this place isn’t something I’m happy abt because it was a very hard decision I will say that the workers here are all very professional. I didn’t feel judged by anyone, all of the ladies were super nice and the whole process wasn’t as bad as I thought It would be. I was there a total of abt 3 hours. I would recommend this location

Not sure why they have you book a 8:30am appointment time then having you waiting untill almost 2-3pm to get your service done. I will find a different provider that’s more prompt

At FPA, their mission is to obviously create a memorable experience for every patient despite the circumstances. This is in fact a no judgment zone! Everyone is compassionate which makes the journey less intense.

Absolutely sick to my stomach that I am at the hospital from the negligence of Dr.Jackson leaving remains in me. This occurring while in the office to have procedure complete. Then a month later finding out the job was complete. I’m definitely seeking all the help I can possibly get. For one my mental and emotional then let’s speak on the pain fish in enduring. NO PHYSCIAN SHOULD HAVE TO RE DO THERE WORK WHEN THIS IS A OPERATION

Extremely helpful! Everyone was so nice, it made the whole situation so much easier. Liz made everyone feel so comfortable and was able to treat each person as an individual.

Everyone took amazing care of me , I have anxiety really bad but nobody made me uncomfortable. All of the staff listened to me and provided the best possible care and advice .

Absolutely amazing having to go thru an unplanned pregnancy I was terrified I had to rethink everything that I had planned and the fear of not knowing what to expect during my visit gave me anxiety but it was all relieved when I met the staff so friendly and helpful any questions I had they answered and confirmed I understood I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in my situation they really care!!!

I had surgical abortion today and was put to sleep for it. Didn’t feel a thing or remember a thing during procedure. Woke up with little to no bleeding. Dr and ”bartender” was great!

The faculty here is extremely professional and made the process seamless. They take their time to explain what your options are and what each process entails of. I highly recommend this facility to anyone.

I didnt have the greatest experience here, the blonde lady who brought me back to my locker to change was extremely rude to me because I had eaten a jolly ranchers so they couldnt use anthesia on me, she made me feel stupid more than once and I was already crying, and they arent as sensitive as I think they should be

I’m so thankful for the exceptional team here. I scheduled a pill app and was out within an hour and a half. Every staff member I spoke too was super kind and knowledgeable and seemed genuinely happy to answer any questions I had. The team provided more knowledge and answers to me than my primary care ever has. Coming from a different state was challenging and I am extremely thankful for the efficiency and kindness of this team and would recommend this to anyone who asked.
