I would like to share a tough life experience and how I was able to successfully overcome it because of Dr. Nieves. He is a talented and God gifted surgeon! I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and through all my battles after chemotherapy he made it possible for me to go through the surgery and come out healthy! The recovery was amazingly fast despite the fact that the surgery wasnt easy. Even nurses were surprised because I got up and walked the next day. Also healing process was fast and successful. All of this is proof of surgery carried out at the possible highest level! Dr. Nieves is on my everyday prayers from the day of surgery till forever, because God sent him to give me a chance to live a normal life. If someone has difficulty choosing a surgeon, with my hand on heart , I can say Dr. Nieves is the best one.

Dr. Nieves help me during a very difficult time in my life. It was not easy hearing you have cancer in your uterus at 37, but with the care and help from Dr. Nieves I am now cancer free. He gave us a chance to try and have babies by saving my uterus. He was always so nice, knowledgeable, and empathetic to my needs. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I thank god for doctors like Dr. Nieves.

Dr. Nieves-Neira is an extension of Gods hand! And I thank God I was referred to him by my Heart Transplant Team last August 2018 after they have put me on 1A List (Priority Level for Heart Transplant ) and 3 days after have to put me on hold and was back to 1B (Not an urgent level. Still in the List ) because they have found out I have an ENDOMETRIAL CANCER.DR. Neives-Neira took time and was very thorough in explaining what he will do during the Robotic-Assisted Total Hysterectomy and Bilateral Salpingectomy and Bilateral pelvic Sentinel Lymph Node Dissection, Left Ureterolsis, CystoscopyPelvic washings. Dr. NIEVES-NEIRA even spared my ovaries as promised pending the result of a specific test. PRAISE AND GLORY TO JESUS as the Final Pathologic resultCame back NEGATIVE FOR CANCER CELLS ... NOT EVEN A SMALL OR MICROSPCOPIC CANCER CELL IN MY BODY! Again, forever GRATEFUL as God has used Dr. NEIVES-NEIRA as an Instrument of Gods hand. And he fought and cleared me to be BACK ON THE HEART TRANSPLANT LIST! And I GOT MY HEART NOVEMBER 2018! Yaaaaaay!!!

While Dr. Nieves appeared stoic at first, as we got to know him over the course of my treatment, I found him to be exceptionally kind, empathetic, caring, and supportive.

Empathetic, caring, kind, trusted, talented ... the best. So lucky to have Dr. Nives-Neira as my doctor/surgeon during the most difficult time of my life.

NO STARS!! The rudest, most insensitive doctor I have ever seen. Without any tests taken, he tells me I could have a cancerous tumor in my Pancreas. He was mean spirited!!

I would like to put him in the place of God …Thank you so Much 🙏
