Advocate Chicago Blackhawk and Halsted

Dr. Brown have been horrendous. Not only my pain/injury have been dragged out a VERY long time. Her lack of urgency to realize and acknowledge my pain and suffering has amplified my injury. Now my injury went from mild to moderate/severe. Its best to go see someone else.

I have been going to this practice for 10 years. Ever since the Advocate network has merged with Advocate Aurora, the service to patients has gone downhill considerably. Add in Covid, and its been a nightmare and completely impossible to get care. I truly feel for the doctors and nurses, because none of this is their fault, but the network itself is making things way too difficult.Ive been told for over a year that the reason its so hard to get care is because 2 doctors retired due to Covid and 2 are on maternity leave. Again, this is the same story for over a year. I understand healthcare workers are stretched thin, but maybe its time for Advocate to add some more physicians to the roster at this location. My own doctor is obviously totally overworked, and sends messages at all hours of the night.The average wait time for an appointment is 3 months, and it has been that way for some time. Ive been told that my doctor is also on leave then told no shes not on leave. and I have no idea what to believe anymore.This locations needs to get their story straight to take care of their patients so we can plan our care. If there are truly not enough physicians at this location, then they need to bring more into the practice, or consider referring some patients to other providers/locations. Because whats happening right now is completely unacceptable.

Important advice: If you are there for a checkup, say no when they ask you if is ok to record the visit. If you mention ANY concern, they will bill the visit differently and you will receive a bill for the co-pay.Doctors and nurses are nice

DR HEIDER SHUBER (OBGYN) is an excellent gynecologist. Excellent surgical skills that my ABDOMINAL MYOMECTOMY (laparotomy, fibroids removal) has zero complications and healing started on the 3rd day. New life! Without Fibroids, intimacy experience is magnified.JOKE: Brother says, I have more (3 vs 2) balls, and bigger (5, 3, 1) balls than him. 🤣

Everyone was very helpful and did what suggested to meet the requirements forCovid with MASKS and hand sanitation at all stations in the building.

There is Multiple level parking with easy access to the elevators.
