Clinica Familiar La Virgen de Guadalupe Carrollton

Made an appointment (had a screenshot and everything) and they refused to see me. Not a good way to secure a new patient. Really disappointing way to run a clinic.

I can’t speak highly enough of Clinica familiar Virgen de Guadalupe , the Doctor was so knowledgeable and caring, took the time to listen to my concerns , due to previos bad experience . From the moment I walked in , the receptionist took care of getting me a quick appointment which is hard for new patients , but no at this clinic ,the customer service was amazing ! They run all the test on me including an electrocardiogram , what a blessing to found them today , amazing team !

Overall Great and a very humanized doctor she knows what she is doing and she has always find a cure to my illnesses, also there are a very humanized and attentive staff over there. They accept walkins not having to wait to get medical attention through the insurance mainstream that could leave you stranded waiting for weeks to be seen by a doctor.

Dr. was friendly and great. I had some issues with the staff. First off, they updated my address but still got one of my prescription for my 4 year old sent to the wrong location. It seemed like the lady on the phone didnt really want to help me but nonetheless assured me they sent out the prescription again and should be available for pick up for a couple of hours. The pharmacist informed me they never received it once again when i came back for pickup, but was in luck since he did have some in stock in the back and wanted to help my little girl. I also called back to get an extra day extended on the note since my daughter was still sick and was transferred to another department that never picked up. I tried to call them multiple times to let them know, but they never picked up. Even after going to the clinic personally, they said no doctors are available and are in lunch even though it was past 7PM, which I find hard to believe considering that its a clinic. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be returning.

I went bc I was feeling weird and my heart felt like it was beating fast and was diagnosed with strep throat they gave me medication I took it and ended up in the hospital. They did not strep throat tested me they just asked me to open my mouth saw that my throat was red and assumed I had strep throat. I was having an allergic reaction they completely ignored my heart beat issue I was having.

I like it because because they are Latin they explain better. I respect that he is pro-vaccines. But I think they should not discriminate against me for not wanting to vaccinate my daughters yet. Today I took my nephew in for an ear infection, I was just going to get medicine, and as is their style they try to give you injections or do tests and cover you up. Its ridiculous to go and have to pay 300 usd. Be careful with this place since the other doctors left this is terrible. I dont recommend this place. I used to go with them but I wont go anymore, Ill change places since they only try to get your money. The doctor is terrible and they should fire her! for thief

I have been coming to the CLVG for almost two years and the team of Dr Antonio Álvarez and his staff of nurses are first class.

I was usually pretty good with the Cuban doctor but they put in a doctor who is just trying to get money from you. Its awful. You go for an infection and instead of prescribing medicine they try to give you anything and they dont tell you anything, they just charge you a lot. I dont recommend it, they are terrible!

Yesterday I went to an appointment for my daughter. The receptionist had excellent service. I have no complaints about her. Quite the opposite, but the doctor, I dont know her name, but she is pregnant. She had terrible service. She doesnt even have any attention. I explained to her what my daughter had and she didnt even I took her vital signs, I only checked her ear and according to her, she had an ear infection, she was going to prescribe me liquid amoxicillin and some ear drops. When I got to the pharmacy, they had to talk to the clinic because the Dr had sent it in tablets in instead of liquid and I never prescribe the drops and I had to wait for them to give me the medicine. It turns out that in the morning I had to take her to the emergency room because she was not getting better, she was worse and it turns out that this Dra gave her double the dose that she She needed, instead of giving her 8 ml, I prescribed DOUBLE 16 ml and the girls legs were red and they told me that it was due to the effect of the dose that this lady prescribed 😡 and she has a stomach infection and not an ear infection and they had to inject, they should hire professional people who are kind to patients, not just anyone. I dont know if they have a professional ID. Im not a person who complains, but this time I did get very angry and for me, if I could give them 0 stars, I would NEVER RETURN AGAIN. ANY CLINIC OF THESE SO THAT THEY EVER PUT THE HEALTH OF MY CHILDREN AT RISK

The doctor diagnosed me with a skin fungus, he did not take the time to ask more about my condition.
