AFC Webster Ave in the Bronx exceeded my expectations. From registration, the Nurse Practitioner, and to the X-ray technician; ALL were professional. They all asked questions that pertained to my wellness, mental and physical. No one wants to go urgent care BUT if you have to, this location is the best! Thank you to the staff, I appreciate ALL OF YOU!

Tiffany and Christine were absolutely the sweetest! Very professional, kind, and very informative throughout the whole physical. it felt refreshing to be at an urgent care where I didn’t feel like a burden. Most of the times I encounter attitudes, hostility, gaslighting, and being rushed because said workers may be used to dealing with a certain crowd and treat everyone the same. I didn’t feel rushed here at all and my whole physical was about 30 minutes! Amazing, they were so prompt, attended to me quickly and I got out quickly because of it. Nice flow of traffic and had a great experience! kudos to those two great women🥰 they deserve a raise! employees like this dont come often, which is why they should be valued!! christine was welcoming the entire time and very informative through the phone despite my many questions! made AFC look great today!

I wish I didn’t even have to give this doctor a one star. I have been coming to this urgent care since this urgent care opened up. As far as the front staff, they are professional and they are the best. The medical assistants they are good. But for this doctor, Marine Brown , she made me feel very uncomfortable. My daughter came in for ear pain and she had a nerve to ask me about if there was any child abuse case in my house, which I found really odd . When I responded and told her no she didn’t even have a response . She didn’t even check her throat, nothing into I had to ask her to check her lungs. afc urgent care has not been the same for a year or two . I hope they find doctors that is very caring and professional because today this doctor wasn’t professional at all..

I Love coming here for many reasons and one of them is the front desk receptionist are always warm and welcoming. The facility is always clean. There’s never too long of a wait it’s literally “urgent care”. They offer rapid covid testing, they do x rays on site and getting your results for other testings is easy and fast as well. I recommend them to all of my family and friends.

All of the staff was very kind and professional. The front desk staff was awesome to the 10 th power !! Thank you for great service.

They actually close at 7PM. If you come after 7PM they’ll refuse service to you. Even if it’s just picking up documents.

I love my experience there. The staff are extremely helpful on getting any questions you have answered. The center is very convenient for its the only urgent care in the neighborhood.

Everyone is nice pretty great staff here . The wait time could be pretty long but still nothing like the ER wait time. I was in extreme pain and waited two and half hours in the waiting room and about half an hour in the exam room which isn’t bad the er you’ll be there all night and still never get called . clean environment i understand they get really busy so no complaints here. The doctor is really sweet :)

The first time that I went to an urgent care I remember in Fordham Road never wanted to know of urgent care again it was so bad until I cut my hand washing dishes and went to the one in Webster the staff the doctors so so kind and understanding they speak your language they speak to make you understand what they talking about I will recommend anybody to go there they will be treated the right way, my love to them God bless them all🙏❤️🥰

Terrible location, this place has really nice staff but there is this guy tall and casual dressed that called my child in to see the doctor took no vitals, no height and weight just sat me in a room that didnt seem to be cleaned clearly violating medical rules and clearly not medically educated I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.

Terrible staff, terrible experience. The hours on Google are wrong, they do not open at 8AM on the weekend, they open at 9AM. Milly the MA (medical assistant) was rude, disrespectful, and condescending, all at 9AM on a Saturday. She tried to give me medical advice without the REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS to actually provide a medical diagnosis. She isnt a doctor so obviously she did not examine me as her patient- I told her that I was there to SEE A DOCTOR for them to examine my ears which were in severe pain, and her extremely unprofessional advice (because she IS NOT A DOCTOR) was for me to clean my ears........if that isnt NEGLECTFUL, I dont know what is. I never asked her for medical advice because AS A HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL MYSELF, I KNEW she was not qualified to do anything more than access protected medical information, make phone calls, process urine samples, and draw blood. Milly the MA needed to stay in her MA lane. On top of that, the doctor that I was able to see was also NASTY because of my interaction with MILLY THE MA. This office is ran like a high school cafeteria. All these people had to do was THEIR JOBS. The nurse practitioner, KESHA PANTRY, NP entered the room extremely unprofessionally, she did not respond to my good morning greeting, and with a VERY NASTY ATTITUDE the first words to come out of her mouth were I heard you think that you have an ear infection. I proceeded to explain to her that I did not THINK I had an ear infection, I was in the office just the day before and I WAS TOLD by another one of their doctors that I had a bilateral ear infection but supposedly that doctor I saw the day before never documented that in the system or sent my prescribed antibiotic to the pharmacy. NP KESHA PANTRY tells me that I had no ear infection and sent me on my way. STILL EXPERIENCING EXCRUCIATING PAIN, I ended up going to CITYMD where I was diagnosed with a bilateral ear infection. A bunch of immature, unexperienced, medical professionals here. I DO NOT recommend, I will never return here to deal with such unprofessional people.

This place was so fast at service and all the workers i met was really nice and they helped me a lot and all the staff was really respectful.

They made us wait 2 hours to be called and seen while they sat in the back cutting birthday cake. Then tried to make it seem like I didn’t know what I was talking about when I got it on video…. Not to mention people who walked in after me got seen before me (so no they don’t go by order)

Everyone was very kind the appointment didn’t take very long because I went online and made an online appointment so I definitely recommend you do that first. I was in and out of there 30 minutes tops. I was able to get a doctors note for my job and a PCR test.

My experience in the actual facility is usually positive enough. I can always appreciate speediness, which they’re pretty good at. However, when politely calling to receive information I don’t expect to receive an attitude or be hung up on. It’s very rude and demeaning behavior that shouldn’t be condoned especially in a brown and black neighborhood. For me, customer service is everything, so if this represents your company. I will not be returning and will be spreading the word.

HORRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE! I got there 8:30am on a Saturday (google states they open at 8) to find out they actually open at 9am. The security opened the doors at 9:10am. It is now 9:45 am and still no one has even been called in. The front desk walked in at 9:33 am. What a joke. Super unprofessional and no consideration for people’s time. GO TO MANHATTAN!!! Or a real urgent care. I will not be back.

They provide fast service and the staff are family friendly and nice, the place is always clean also.

The service is very good but you need to go on your website and change the hours for Saturday & Sunday. I got there on Saturday at 7:30 am due to the times on your website were incorrect. Also, you should have a label over the barcodes in the window at AFC letting patients know that’s how you check in. I was first online but the third to be seen which was still fine. I wouldn’t have gone that early if the website didn’t have the wrong hours. But the service to patients are good.

They tried to charge me cash for a T B test in this day and age of diseases. And in the poorest part of all of New York to boot. Dont waste your time

AFC urgent care is great. Michael from marketing is amazing. He has help me with Medicaid for me and my family. he is a big help and does way more than anyone can imagine . Without him I would not be able to see the doctor.

During the COVID 19 Pandemic it was very difficult to go appointment to see my PCP September 2/2020 iwas haveing a swelling at the side of my neck the female MD treated me and also give me instructions if I dont feel better in 2 day she clasps her hand and said go straight to the ER her direction save my life went to the hospital on September 4/2020 and have emergency surgery same day

Don’t come to this location. At first they were nice and fast but they messed up my physical not once or twice but 3 times. They also took two weeks to give me back my physical when they said it would take 3 days. And even after the 3 weeks my physical was still wrong 3 times. This is unacceptable. I am fortunate to have such a close Urgent care nearby and every time I go I’m out the door in less than 30 minutes! They’re very accommodating and take walk ins which is super convenient considering COVID testing. The staff there are very respectful both in person and on the phone and the place is spotless. I would say for walk ins it’s important to call ahead of time as they sometimes reach their capacity of patients in a day, however 9/10 times they are available.

Horrible treatment by health provider. Didnt help me with my symptoms gave me the run around didnt send prescriptions that I need to actually treat my symptoms and medical assistant degraded me over the phone on Sunday June 11 2023 approximately 930 am. They should be closed down or operate as a methadone clinic for all the area junkies

Went yesterday at around 4pm. Staff at front desk was extremely polite and nurse who took weight and blood pressure. When doctor saw me I was diagnosed in about 5min. Very good clinic. This A Best Urgent Care I Been To I Highly Recommend People To Come Here

I go here all the time but I went on Wednesday to get covid tested because I was feeling under the weather, there was a line but it moved along quickly. Once I handed in my insurance I was called a few minutes later. I asked a few questions and they were answered with no hesitation. The staff is great they knew I was nervous as I waited for my results Mr. Wilbur came and they rejoiced with me when my negative result was handed, it felt good. Thank You guys

The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. Everyone was pretty great up until the Dr. (Rosy, I believe it was). It took over an hour for her to see me and when I finally said something, she came in about 3 minutes later. I told her I was having rsv like symptoms (hard breathing and swallowing, congested burning chest, coughing for the past 4 days, extremely cold and drowsiness), she didn’t do any tests and said that she’ll send my prescription to my local pharmacy. I got there and there was no prescription , just an over the counter Robutussin which I had at home and was already taking !!! I felt very dismissed and unheard and wish she would’ve told me about the robutussin before I wasted my time making that trip. I also got a very WEAK doctors note that only stated I was seen that date. I wasnt given any recovery time on the note for my job to excuse me the next day and I asked the Dr and all she said was if I still feel sick tomorrow, to come back. Which I feel like is another total waste of time seeing that I’m obviously too weak to keep traveling around and not be properly checked. I would recommend the other doctors at this location but absolutely not Dr. Rosy. It’s so sad to see a black doctor who has the capability to help you but chooses to dismiss you

I’m a teacher and came here on one of my breaks to get a COVID test. Wilbur was so kind and helpful! He made sure that I was in and out of there so I could get back in time to teach. The staff member who tested me was also very friendly. A great experience!

I’ve been living in this area of the bronx for 28+ years. The professionalism in this care center is top tier. Always beyond impressed on the staff on how they treat their patients. I’ve been coming since the pandemic first started and they always are ready for heavy traffic, any adjustments asked by the CVC, by the mayor, governor etc. any variants. They are always on point with operations and make you feel comfortable each and every time. Stephanie and Mikey are some of the care workers here that I’ve got a chance to interact with and they are so helpful. They both are so attentive to details and go above and beyond to make sure you are cared for. I can’t thank them enough every time I am here. I trust them every time 100% of the time with any of my needs.

Today I brought my daughter here for a second opinion and she was diagnosed in minutes! Fining out was wrong with my baby was everything to me, It made my day that she finally got the help she needed. No to mention the amazing staff. It was my first time there so from registration to triage to the doctor. Amazing, helpful,knowledgeable and friendly people working here! And Its clean! My 4 year old was a big fan of the bathroom and the water fountain, so I would say that its also child friendly. I just want to say thank you to the staff for putting all my worries at ease and for helping my daughter. God Bless and thank you again!

Clean waiting room and bathroom, Appears to be kids friendly. Staff is friendly and quick so you dont have to wait to long. My favorite is that it has free parking. Now a day you spend more gas looking for parking then getting to your destination. I will stick to this urgent care, I recommend it to others.

Went there for the first time today. It was a great experience which was shocking. In this area you usually do not receive good customer service and clean accommodations.The staff was very nice and professional and the place was very clean. I hope they keep it up. I’ve been there several times already and never disappointed! All the staff bring me great customer service since I walk in all the way to the back. Krystal is really nice and helpful and the guy (doctor) that’s on the front desk sometimes is awesome.

The front desk was very helpful heading to the back to meet the physicians. Unprofessional doctor did not introduce himself look at me and say it looks like the flu, and sent me home without checking to see if I had pneumonia had to get reevaluate to get some real help.

I came in for covid test. 1st time it was done super fast; 2nd time they had ran out of the test kits, followed by the 3rd day. I think they should carry more supply. Otherwise, the staff were really nice and generous. Special thanks to Ty!

This place is amazing, I came in completely drained and not in the mood but the service in this place is amazing and fast. The workers are uplifted, hopeful, and very persistent. They get all the work done in a timely fashion. I barely sat down, in the waiting area, and they called my name to get checked by the nurse. What more can i ask for?

Great and pleased about this urgent care, was in and out, Staff is Very polite, but mind you its quiet in the waiting area, so the staff I know are bored and the time I was there the guy was playing some type of sneaker video so loud in his phone everyone was like dont u have headphones. that was kinda annoying, and someone told me hes always like that. I had a very positive experience during my visit to the afc clinic. I was promptly attended to by a very friendly, competent young man, Malcom,who took care of my needs very efficiently. I was particularly impressed by the general atmosphere in the clinic which looked very clean and well equipped with a friendly staff.

Good facility, but Im having trouble getting my results from Monday. Is there another number I can reach besides the 7747 number? I requested a callback but every time it goes straight to waiting music. Please help as Id like to know my results.Wilbur is awesome. I lost the card he gave me and Id really like to reach him to get my results.EDIT: Come on man, I called at 8 AM on the spot and NO ONE picked up. You cant have ANYONE answer the phone? I called almost 20 times yesterdayEDIT: Still no response. Got my PCR test on Monday. No call, email, notification, or any communication. I know things are busy -- but this is unprofessional

I had to wait a very long time before I seen the Dr. ! Also, I had to wait another half hour when I got called into the room. I didnt receive much feedback about my situation and really didnt get help. It was like a waist of time.

This place is amazing. Its clean and the staff are cordial. Dr Pringle is the best and Jasmine is the kindest and most pleasant receptionist. They are quick in pace and apt in professionalism. I live very far from here, but I take a bus and a train to get here because it is worth it and the service is like none other.

AFC Urgent Care is one of the best Urgent Cares I have been to thus far. I came to the Clinic about 2months ago they were polite and everyone moves with a sense of urgency. Their goal is not only to help ppl but to also get them in and out. And dont make it an all day process. The receptionist is always so sweet and extremely polite. Even if they are having a bad day you will never be able to tell because they wear it so proudly with a smile. And this is why I always choose to come here.

Came in on a Sunday (closest to the area) and the waiting area was empty. Receptionist was very courteous and patient- I had both my kids with me.Wait time was only five minutes! I was out with a prescription to pick up ten minutes later. Decent Pharmacy affiliated that’s open on Sunday’s, too.

I can’t begin to express my gratitude to all of the staff at AFC Webster Ave. My family and I come from the other side of the Bronx to this location because the service is amazing. Crystal C. and her staff always exceed my expectations. My 6 and 8 year old children do not want to go anywhere else.

My husband went there for a garly gash to his shin. It tore all the way through the layer if muscle. The day prior we tried to go to StBarnabas ER and it was so horrible we chose to leave and come to AFC to hopefully get stitched up. Physicians assistant Mellissa Kim was amazing. She saw the anxiety my husband had about possibly having to go back to the ER due to the severity of the wound. She was able to apply 7 stitches and gave us after care tips. Her bedside manner was very calming and very honest about what the hospital would be able to do for us compared to what we can simply do at home. I would definitely recommend her. Shes there Thursday Friday and Saturdays.

Horrible! Switch from 5 stars to 1 star. This place is horrible. The “doctor” who isn’t even a dr makes you feel horrible. Isn’t friendly and brushes you off. He clearly doesn’t want to help don’t know why he’s even there. You have to force him to do a physical exam or else he will look at you and tell you there’s nothing wrong with you even though you are in pain.

I love this Urgent Care clinic. All the staff are professionals and great with children. They treat you with respect. The wait is perfect. The doctors are awesome. You can’t ask for a better clinic.

Shout out to medical staff and the front desk staff!

Everyone from the receptionist to the woman that gave me the testwas professional, yet polite, andand helpful-- and thats a rarity today.

I always come here for bothering my children and my nephew and they are always extremely fast and efficient. One staff member named Will has been a great help with the children in the waiting area lol highly recommended!

Michael Vanzie is awesome, he took his time he was very attentive and informative and set up with health insurance as well as a primary care physician, I’m will recommend anyone that I know who is in need of his services,Thank you so much Michael

Great clean place but the staff is NOT polite and that makes your experience there the worse. Last time definitely for everything I advise if you need quick service go somewhere else that won’t make you feel like they better then you cuz you check on ya self horrible place to go.

When you first walk in it look decent clean but when you get in the back all the garbages was field up , doctor Jacobo was very unprofessional yells out your business, man nurse opened women bathroom for me goes in with me , was still not certain of what was wrong with me when I left Very unprofessional and their low on a lot of supplies well not recommended this place today date 2022 aug 23

I have mixed feeling about this Urgent care. They are way nicer over the phone then in person. Natalie is such a sweetheart but they piss me off sometimes.Ok, so.... It’s Sunday at 8am and there no doctor here because all they are worried about are COVID test. Continuously saying they aren’t a testing site but operating as one. I didn’t even want a COVID test and actually wanted to see the doctor but since I was here decided why not. They had the nerve to tell me it’s only 1 complaint. How is getting tested a complaint? So I have to choose between something that all people have a right to get and then paying for a doctor visit? How does this make sense?Then after I am the first person there I am not seen until about 9:05. Where is the urgency?Once with the doctors it ok. So overall I say the service is mediocre!

My experience here was great they were so helpful and professional,clean,courteous,and friendly they make you feel better even before seeing the doctor. Will definitely make this my primary health care clinic. Thanks Jasmine👍

Jasmin is and amazing receptionist super friendly helpful and very welcoming to all her patience . I absolutely lover and she always makes me feel like we are a part of a family .

I am thankful that there is an Urgent Care three blocks away from me being disabled its hard to get around when its necessary thank you ladies and doctors and security for your hospitality God bless you all.🥰 everyday is a different day and people should be appreciative instead of complaining I see signs on the wall behind the chairs saying turn your cell phones off I appreciate it if you look into that and put it in the front where we sign in it because the only thing I saw was a person talkin as loud as she could on her cell phone and not thinking they are sick people waiting to be seen who wants to hear someone screaming other than that I thank you all for what you do for the community its a blessing

You get seen fast but you need to be careful with the medication they prescribe because they prescribed flu medication without checking if my son needed it, also I had to call twice because they wrote my sons name and age wrong. The second time I had to call they gave me an attitude and said that why couldn’t the pharmacy fix it themselves. Took him to his doctor the next day and he confirmed what I said you don’t give flu medication by the symptoms, she did the test and it came back negative. He had an ear infection and they said his ears were clear.

Tysheim and JoJo were wonderful! These two were compassionate for the sick. I came in feeling sick but their smiles and patience made a difference. Thank you both.

Went today with my mom due to flu like symptoms. Made an appointment online and came in. Then we saw a familiar face. It was Jasmin! She such a nice young lady. Always professional at all times. Within 15 minutes my mom was called. They took her vitals and placed her in a room. Place was CLEAN! Within 4-5 minutes (no exaggeration) Dr. Pringle came in. Very friendly and direct. Made my mom wish she was her pcp at her doctors office. After talking to Dr. Pringle, my moms medicine was sent to her pharmacy. Then, my mom told me...”You’re showing symptoms of catching my cold! Go get checked while you’re here!” I said I would take my mom home then come back with my insurance card. When I went to look in my wallet, I had the card. So I went and got checked. Was done in 10 minutes tops! I like this place. They really treat you how they would want to be treated. So it’s all respect from them. I highly recommend them! Wonderful first experience!

This is a nice clean place. I found your employee Tysheim and JoJo did a great job and was very courteous to all of us waiting to be seen.

Had to wait 2 days to finally get seen. I went in for tonsillitis. When I finally got seen my throat was visibly disgusting and so swollen to the point where it felt like it was closing in on itself, all for them to tell me to wait another 2-3 days to get antibiotics

I was sick on a Saturday and thank God this urgent is open and very close to where i work. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. The facility is clean and has a proper flow from admission to check up and out. The doctor is nice and he didnt order unnecessary lab tests for my condition, which for my opinion, is a good trait of a good urgent care doctor. I dont have insurance and the front desk woman helped me go thru the application and even suggested a good pharmacy for noninsured customer. If theres a 10 star, i could rate them 15. Thank you for making me well..

This location is one of the best by far especially the MA that took care of me his name is Michael He treated me like family and made me feel comfortable especially since I suffer from anxiety .I highly recommend this urgent care to anyone .

I went there today and I overheard staff speaking about the hiv status of someone who had went in on Friday for testing. Even went down to describing the age of the person and all. I will not be back to this place. The privacy of that patient was violated and that is not okay. I want to report that.

First time visit for a Covid test. Everyone was courteous and professional. Convenient location and their own parking lot was a big plus.

The person that did my son’s and I rapid test was so gentle and my son, who is 3, was crying so much because he was so scared but an another gentleman came in and gave my son a little gift for being such a trooper! Thank you so much guys!

Went Saturday with my mom and the service was excellent, Receptionist was really sweet and we were in and out in no time, Doctor was very nice and professional. Definitely will be going back !!

Everyone was so professional and easy to talk with. It was clean , well kept and there was little to no wait time. My 4 children and I will all be visiting.

Horrible experience!! Got there at 4pm, had to wait outside for about an hour just to get inside, waited another hour inside just to be seen. Then the PA never sent my medication to the pharmacy, I have called several times, they said they would tell her, 2 days later still nothing at the pharmacy, also have to wait on hold an hour just to get through to them. Horrible service!! Never going back there again!

The staff is professional, respectful, the facility is clean and they follow the CDC guidelines by grouping familes and also separating the chairs. There are hand sanitizer dispensers all around as well.

Tickets for a limited amount of Covid Testing is given out daily at 8am. Line for covid starts as early as 6am. Clean place. Staff is respectful & works fast. Ppe is worn & hand washing/sanitizing is available. I’ve noticed that they don’t label test tubes in front of the patient. Recently, I believe they mixed up my sons blood work with someone else’s. This has to be the reason why. Request that they label your work in front of you.

Great Employees And Doctors never wait more then 20-25 mins With A Full House Better Then Most Urgent Cares I Been Too.

Would not see my child with a head injury because they wanted to close early. Irresponsible! I was warned before coming they misdiagnosed a relative but since it was close I thought I would give it a try. Would definitely not recommend.

I went to the AFC WEBSTER LOCATION with a serious issue and not only was I treated Dr Pringle listened to my needs attentively and made me feel like I was paying cash as opposed to being a Medicaid recipient. I love this place and I wish there were more places like this in our urban areas!!!!
